Zoro has been redoing Top Swordsmen Achievements
For example Post-TS, he repeated almost every Mihawk Feat Pre-TS (Not same effort put into it but still)

1. Cutting a Big Ship in Half during his Introduction just like Mihawk
2. Using Small Knife to fight
3. Using the same Phrase Mihawk used against him when he fought Hyouzou
4. Cutting Pica similar to Marineford Ice Mountain

He also acquired Ryuma's Sword, beheaded a Dragon with it & now switched it with Oden's Sword which he tamed just like Oden
So now he have two more Feats to accomplish: Wounding Kaido just like Oden (Better than Scabbards) & turning his Sword(s) Black.
After that he have to manage to send a Big Flying Slash from afar just like Mihawk & also Unlock CoC just like Rayleigh, Oden, Shanks ... etc

I believe that once Zoro complete this List, he will deem himself ready to face Mihawk finally for the WSS Title
PS: It's also strongly hinted he will learn to cut Fire so add that too & maybe enhance his CoO (Perhaps Oda gave Shiryu that DF just to force Zoro to enhance his CoO)

Scabbards said Kaido won't be down until he is Beheaded!
And seeing how he was Captured so many times, Marines aren't coming to Wano anyway & he have Mythical Zoan which means he have very high Recovery Speed (Let alone his Unique Endurance) + His Legend of being Unkillable & him wishing to die, i think it's very likely that Kaido will indeed Die this Arc

The million dollar question is: who's executing Kaido?

I really don't believe any of the SH (including Zoro) will kill him.
Right now, I'm putting my money on 1 of the surviving Scabbards, or even Momonosuke.
Or maybe just a simple a public execution.
But I'd like Oda to surprise me.

What if that Mountain is a Volcano & they will corner him there & force him to endure it for 1 Hour as multiple Characters get to attack him (Just random idea xD)

I don't think Scabbards will get to have a Rematch with Kaido, this was their only chance, they gave it their all & they are gonna get rekt now.
One Piece is about the hurt Characters facing the Villain & losing as Luffy & his Allies save them & give them the Victory

Momo will definitely find his Courage & help Luffy against Kaido but we already know how, he will carry Luffy & fly with him similar to Luffy's fight against Shiki in Strong World, it's also possible that Momo will carry the Sword while Luffy provides the Haki & help him pierce Kaido.

IMO Kaido's Death will be a Simultaneous Attack from 5 Characters:
Luffy + Zoro + Momo + Kid + Law

And Oda already made a Build Up for each
Not only these 5 are the ones who want to face Kaido the most after Scabbards & also foreshadowed but they all have something to prove
Luffy needs to prove he can defeat a Yonko so he can become Pirate King
Zoro needs to prove he is worthy of Oden's Sword & remind Wano people of Ryuma's Legend
Momo needs to prove he is worthy of becoming Shogun & truly the son of Oden
Kid needs to prove himself as a Powerful NW Pirate, that's why Oda gave him only disappointments in NW
And finally Law is the one who made the Alliance to defeat Kaido in first place & i can't imagine Final Battle without Room

Short Version:
Luffy + Zoro + Kid + Law + Momo will "Kill" Kaido simultaneously (Combined Effort)
