About Shanks I think the following.
I am certain Rayleigh and Roger refered to Shanks.

Maybe they dropped him in West Blue and picked him up again a few years later.

A big secret is still the gift Roger gave Shanks at the day of his execution. I think its possible that this was the day Shanks learned about his origin and that this was the reason Shanks refused to go for One Piece.

Garlin could be Shanks dad, but doesn't have to be.

Someone on reddit pointed out that the wording says Mjosgard has been sentenced to be executed, not that he has been executed. He could just be beat up, not dead in the image.

And they also pointed out kuma is currently climbing the red line. Revolutionary army member Mjosgard incoming?

Just noticed that it was revealed in Volume 4 billion that Shanks was in a Treasure Box Gol D. Roger took from God Valley.
So it is confirmed Shanks was born on God Valley.
