Also @Gambit @Nessos how does Kiku traitor theory fit with the Udon plot in Act 2? Like because she knew what happened, she contacted Orochi to sabotage the place in advance before the Scabbards arrived?

Also Kiku being indirectly responsible for Yasuie's execution feels wrong although it's true for any Scabbard traitor

With looking at the Sea Kings only there would be room for speculations, but adding Odens comment about "until JoyBoy reaapears" we can say for sure the Sea Kings refer to Luffy.

Would be epic and justify alot, like giving us a character who would be undoubtfully toptier if he were alive. Like upper Yonko level bracket.
I feel this is lacking in the story and we know that Roger/Whitebeard were of that caliber. Oden imho for sure got stronger over that journey, just energy and wisdom wise.

With looking at the Sea Kings only there would be room for speculations, but adding Odens comment about "until JoyBoy reaapears" we can say for sure the Sea Kings refer to Luffy.

I kind of want to believe Luffy is not Joyboy but just him who is not a reincarnation of anyone. Just like Rayleigh said it's possible straw hats may come up with different conclusion when they find One Piece maybe for the first time in history someone comes with the different conclusion that no one has ever come up with or more like making a different choice which gonna separate Luffy from all those people who ever find out about One Piece and Void century

The point right is that I thought Kaidou will come after Oden already returned, but thats not the case. And right now it looks like noone is able to stop Oden from his rampage.

Right now I see 2 possibilities:

1. Kaidou comes and beats the shit Out of Oden and throw him into prison trying to break Odens will. 5 years later Oden breaks out ends up getting boiled alive.
2. Oden defeats Kaidou and Kaidou and his allies retreat to Onigashima. 5 years later they come back and take over Wano completly.

2nd seems to be more likely. I mean based on Gyukimaru things getting worse after Shusui was stolen which happens 23 years ago. Right now we are at 25 years ago and Oden dies 20 years ago.

But Luffy is actually the one on JoyBoys route its not only thqt he will find One Piece but also he is the one guiding Cryhoshi.

Also Roger mentioned JoyBoy will be the one succeeding them and already Crocus hinted it back at in the entrance of GL-Paradies.


I am also still asking myself who the fuck is Kureha and why does she know about "Will of D." and being one of the few knowing Rogers true name.

Just thinking that we might get more lore on Onigashima with all the infodumps in the flashback. So maybe we can learn the reasons on why Kaido chose Onigashima and what connections he has to it (Blood related?).
We could get insights into a part of the story that revolves around Ancient Giants, the creation of Wano/Pangaea Castle/Mary Geoise.
And with that another possible hint to what Elbaf will be about.

I am thinking about an idea, where Oda uses the Oden flashback to foreshadow everything relevant in the future. And right now Oda could use it to foreshadow the Giant Tribe raceconflict.

Yeah leaving space for Onigashma Lore is another good point.
Another point which makes 2. more likely is no gather of allies. I mean if Oden gets defeated now Dogstorm and Cat Viper could go to sea and gather allies like Minks, WBP and former Roger Pirates. This won't happen if it looks like everything is under control.

oh I think there was one back then and we might soon find out about it, Oda can use poneglyphs on Wano to foreshadow something about the Ancient Giants or Giants/Elbaf in general too

It makes a lot of sense. If the old lady died, Oden and everyone else would just assume that Orochi was actually an innocent guy. Then there is also the possibility that Orochi just hid out on Onigashima while the lady dies. That way we still Bentham eventually getting the devil fruit.

There's no way Whitebeard and Roger would just be chilling out with the beautiful cherry blossoms and not help Oden out. So everyone had to either believe the factory wasn't an issue or they destroyed it when Oden scarred Kaido. It's possible that Kaido lost the first fight, but on the second fight with his Devil Fruit or with extra help he wins.

So either way you slice it. Oden takes care of the problem is initially, but then loses the second time around.

There's no way Whitebeard and Roger would just be chilling out with the beautiful cherry blossoms and not help Oden out.

Thats why I think Oden will beat Kaidou in a first fight anything else wouldn't make much sense. Especially because they would have 5 years to gather allies.
