One of the most surprising thing is how calm luffy looks like with momo's words, even though he definitely understood well that momo is in great danger. Maybe he already sensed the strength inside momo?

Luffy always likes it when weaker characters try standing up for themselves (Ie koby, Mermaid princess, etc).
He likes to give them the chance to be their own rescuer, cus in the end Luffy is a Pirate and he hates sharing his meat with anyone.

Sanji isn't a power type to begin with. But his speed, stealth ability, and additional durability more than make up for it.
And well, at least the impact of his final attack against Page One destroyed the surrounding houses.
The manga didn't convey that clearly, but the anime episode did.

Well Brook is more the speed type. I hope Oda makes Sanji more naturally powerful than he has been. With the add of Jinbe, I hope Oda doesn’t plan on demoting his character. I mean, what is the point of Sanji being able to swim fast underwater when the fights are above land and he has human lung capacity. Might as well throw him a devil fruit. I get they showed him in the raid suit demolishing buildings but that’s not his honed power and ability. Nami and Usopp having weapons is different because they’re naturally weak. Throughout the story Oda has drawn up Sanji to be a major powerhouse. So he should be showcases as such. Regardless of 9 supernova (because Luffy and Zoro are his crew mates). He should be able to equally match up with like half of them than being made to be a tier below them. Because he isn’t really. All Oda has been showing is that Sanji is naturally weaker than everyone he is coming across. & that Zoro is immensely stronger than everyone he fights, except Fujitora. It feels so biased against Sanji. Unless the purpose of this is to train Sanji.

But damn, can we give him a devil fruit. I know this isn’t whitebeard’s crew but look at this. WB, Marco, Ace, Jozu. Kaido, King, Queen, Jack. BM, KATAKURI, SMOOTHIE, Perospero (I don’t count cracker as 4th but he was still powerful and Luffy wouldn’t have won without Nami). Those are the top 4. Oda showed that even the powerup he gave Sanji (skywalk) is very common place among nobodies. Possibly even blue walk (Coby). So it is almost like even though a lot of time was put into Sanji the character (with WCI); that Sanji the fighter got neglected. I get the whole raid suit thing but it feels like Nightmare Luffy, Candle Armor Luffy, Hormone Luffy, etc.

I know I sound like a critic but it just feels like a discrepancy. Having another DF user won’t hurt (even though my preference is Nami). It is just that we saw the huge gap and if Sanji is going to compete, he needs his natural abilities boosted. Then the raid suit could be considered a last resort.

I get that you’re trying to say the raid suit, basically has a devil fruit ability. I was thinking a zoan. Special one too. Mythical I guess.
My favorite choice being a hellhound. Since Sanji’s abilities seem to be based on his previous opponents, it would fit from facing jabra (although he has geppo). Camoflauge should definitely be more of an enemy skill. Either way it would be a great power-up. Sanji should be matching up with the supernovas and stronger guys by now. Him being a dog or something wouldn’t take away from his fighting.

The thing is, Sanji so far is the only character I know who can fight in 3 different terrains (underwater, land, sky) without losing his speed, without depending on any devil fruit,having to spend haki & transform to Gear 4 like Luffy.

Versatility & mobility are what make Sanji crazy dangerous now. And now he can go invisible as well? Are you kidding me?
In MOBA, it's like having a carry who's tanky, mobile, who can initiate fights, pick up kills, and escape easily. I'd pick Sanji as my carry all day.
As far as I'm concerned, he can just go invisible, kick ass from many blind spots & the enemy can't even answer before they turn into corpses.
I would even label Sanji as the natural enemy of almost every single fruit user in existence in naval combat.
With his speed, durability, stealth mode, swimming, all he needs to do is carry his opponents to the sea & drown them.
And he can do that while cooking for Luffy in Thousand Sunny if he wishes so.

If the enemy doesn't have either of very high level of observation haki-speed-endurance, they will probably get slaughtered by Sanji.
And even if Sanji can't win against some powerhouses & certain abilities, Sanji is also unbeatable against most people.

And note that I'm not even a Sanji fan, more of a Zoro fan.

We got Jimbe back finally.
It's a 10/10 for this chapter just for that.
Not to mention, flashbacks are finally over, as awesome as they were but i'm glad they're over.
