What's the big deal about hurting Prometheus, even Brook and Jimbei can hurt him, i mean, its not something big that someone like Marco can hurt him, he's the strongest crew in WB pirates after WB of course, he should be able to kill Prometheus easily....

The only thing remarkable about Marco hurting Prometheus is that when Brook injured him Big Mom remarked that it was the first time he had ever taken physical damage. It's a bit hard to believe that Big Mom hasn't faced anyone of Maro's caliber in the past. I'm still not ruling out the damage being caused by top tier haki users. But still it seems to be leaning to Marco's devil fruit power somehow causing the damage on Prometheus. Hopefully the chapter will clarify.

That's true, but we cant confirm the fact that Big Mom has faced anyone who can hurt Prometheus, especially someone who dare to go against Big Mom itself...

I agree Myth Zoan must have a special traits, but in Marco's case, i think it's just about those regeneration/healing thing, if anything about his DF is the reason why he can hurt Prometheus, probably it's just Marco's fire was superior than Prometheus...

Chapter 995: "Kunoichi's oath".

In the cover page, Luffy is lazing around in class. His teacher is an owl and his classmates are the Risky Kyoudai from Thriller Bark (the squirrels).

Marco tries to stop Big Mom from joining the battle in Onigashima, so they clash. Marco says he isn't sure yet what will be his role in this battle, but he knows how dangerous Big Mom is better than Luffy and the other.

Prometheus' fire clashes with Marco's phoenix fire, Prometheus loses since phoenix fire is a special type of flame. Big Mom grabs Marco by his neck and holds him up so Perospero can shoot him with his "Candy Arrow".

Carrot and Wanda attack Perospero together in their sulong form. Perospero's face is slashed with 2 claw marks with a lot of blood. Wanda tells Marco they will take care of Perospero themselves.

Big Mom is annoyed that she's wasting time with smaller battles.

Big Mom: "If you want to kill me, we can settle this later.
I have no soul to use on you right now."

Then Big Mom flies back in Zeus to Onigashima's castle. Marco hears the sound of people screaming about Ice Oni coming from the castle.

Back to Onigashima main stage. Brook caught Queen's "Koorioni" but it does no damage to him since he has no blood or flesh. Queen looks Sanji's Wanted poster.

Queen: "So Judge’s son is in this crew. Vinsmoke Judge..."

Apoo attacks people chasing him with "Don!" exploding music. Zoro and Drake attack Apoo together, Apoo panics but he manages to block them both with a tonfa.

Chopper looks at Brook and realizes something about the Koorioni's condition but then he realizes he also caught it. One of his arm is now covered in ice.

Cut to Ulti & Page One Vs. Usopp & Nami.

Nami is knocked to the ground, covered in blood. Usopp fights Ulti, he uses "Midori Boshi: Devil" to grab Ulti. Usopp is about to melt her, but Page One bites the plant and saves Ulti.

Usopp then uses "Midori Boshi: Take Javelin" to pierce Page One, but Ulti attacks him with a headbutt. Usopp's skull breaks and we see the same image as when he fought with Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas in Arabasta.

Ulti then grabs Nami and says she's really angry with Luffy becouse he announced that he will beat Kaidou and will become Pirate King.

Ulti: "I will spare you if you say "Our captain will never become the Pirate King"!!"

Nami replies Ulti crying and bloodied.

Nami: "Luffy WILL BECOME the Pirate King!!!"

Ulti is about to kill Nami, but Otama and Komachiyo appear out of nowhere. Komachiyo bites Ulti's head...

Wow, things are going in the way as I predicted/expected them to go. I didn't expect to be right.

When Big Mom comes back even angrier (like Jinbe said), what do you think will stop her from killing strowhats and their frends this time? Because Wano is not ending any time soon, just take a good guess.

Amnesia or Shenanigans, what's worse?

I knew that Oda needs to drag this to chapter 1000th and that means keep Big Mom at by (somehow) from kill strowhats. Thanks god Oda hasn't lost his mind completely and uses Marco to stall Big Mom. Now I can clearly see Marco teaming up with Kid, Law, (possibly Jinbe), to keep her busy for some time (at the very least do something).

My prediction for the next chapters.​

I believe that the turning point for the strawhats/alliance is Big Mom coming back. Marco and others will try to stop her until chapter 1000th: in chapter 1000th Luffy reaches to the rooftop, he fights against Kaido and gets defeated again while at the same time Big Mom defeats the entire alliance by herself. The strowhat grand fleet arrive at the right time saving the alliance form total destruction, Fujitora and SSG "under command of Vegapank" arrive afterwards + Tashigi and Smoker.

that's what I expect to happen in next 30 to 50 chapters of Wano.

Oh... I get what's happening. o-Tama will start taming some of the bigger threats and Marco will help/save Chopper so they can both save victims of the ice oni virus.

I honestly thought marco can hold his own against BM tbh. This guy was vice captain of the WB Pirates for many decades. He needs to show off what he can do.
Wonderful scene with nami and ulti there.
Even though she knew she was gonna get killed, she still did not give in.

After looking at the raws the Strawhats are looking like how they were back in Alabasta. Makes sense since the Alabasta arc was when they went up against their 1st Warlord, and now they're up against their first Yonko (yes they went after big mom 1st but not to taker her down so in this respect it's like the Mihawk encounter back in the east blue.

I'm more curious as to Queen's interest in Zoro and Sanji than I am for a 1v1 battle between Queen and Sanji. Imo Franky & Kid vs Queen makes more sense but that's just more of a wish than an expectation on my part. I just hope he doesn't track down Sanji's raid suit for the tech (assuming it's damaged and Sanji discarded it after his brush with King).

This might come back to haunt me but I don't see Jimbei having any difficulties in this whole battle considering how well he fishmanhandled Big Mom both in this arc and in WCI arc.
