Season 2 OPM was a step down from season 1 IMO.
It wasn’t really horrible but it didn’t add to the first season and had major drawbacks in terms of combat animation, take Saitama vs suiryo ( probably wrote his name wrong but you know whom I’m referring to) suiryo’s punches were poorly defined and animation quality would turn rather weak if one pauses the screen.
The progression of the story is also slow, first 2-3 episodes were really boring, I thought OPM had similar problems as HxH, that’s until I read the manga and saw that it is decently ahead from anime.
The last episodes were better than the first ones, both regarding quality and content.
I just hope next season is more than 12 episodes, that’s too short for a series such as OPM.
