CoC refers to Color of "Conqueror"...if we take it literally, it means "king of haki"......and when Oda said Luffy being the specialist of CoC implies that he conquers the far more advanced versions of CoA and CoO....and this definitely makes him CoC specialist....other than that I don't see anything like "Luffy being specialist in CoC".....knocking out fodders using CoC ain't any special as any CoC user can do it......

Since flashback is over, looking forward to the appearance of Luffy...it has been very long.....and he was there in the present cover and so he will make an appearance in the next two chapters which completes the volume.....so hope he make some epic entrance to the onigaishima

Yeah... I think we're gonna see the full potential of CoC either in Wano or in next arc but I am pretty sure it's not just for taking out fodders... what if that clash Roger had with whitebeard was CoC based on CoC I mean their weapons didn't even touch lol

Either way, I don't know what CoC gonna be helpful outside of foddes but there is much more to it.

I doubt we get to see an epic entrance of Luffy
Before the flashback started it seemed like Luffy and Co got catched. So we most likely see him in chaines again.

Another possibility is that Drake informed Law about the traitor. While the scabbards think they are alone we might get an epic entrance of a pirate alliance between Hawkins, Drake, Law, Kidd, Luffy and their crews.

Was rewatching romance dawn and remembering how I got into one piece. The story feels so different in a way. Like when I think of who Luffy was at the beginning of the story, he was so blunt and carefree and powerful—like a great Taoist sage right out of the Chang tzu. I love when he tells coby “hah hah you’re such a coward! Hah hah I hate people like you!” While smiling ear to ear and laughing—priceless. Perfect. I don’t like him any less! I just Loved going back to a part of the story where my favorite things about Luffy were really highlighted!
He was the idiot immortal! A madman and a saint! He still is. He just has so much to protect now. And the scope of the narrative is so much bigger than just him which is awesome. I was just surprised at how enjoyable romance dawn still is for me
