The ''BEST CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT'' vote was an astonishing 5-way tie! So we will be doing a round two with the 5 tied contestants! However, there are two NEW RULES!

1st rule: This will be a weighted vote, so every vote will have a ''weight''. You will have to vote for three people, among which one is your 1st place, one is your 2nd place and one is your 3rd place.

A 1st place vote is worth 3 points.
A 2nd place vote is worth 2 points.
A 3rd place vote is worth 1 point.

The candidates' votes will be tallied at the end and the one with most points wins!

Alright, I didn't post my propaganda in the last thread, and i saw no one voted me last year for this, so here's a recap of Larsi's character growth since my comeback, starting with closing the gap of my hiatus and explaining it in the story, as well as loss of DF. You can decide yourself if you want it to count or not:
Before his capture Larsi was a cocky man, not having faced defeat in years, at least not since leaving his home in Elbaf, only seeking more power and wealth together with his comrades.

His streak came to an end at the hand of the Blackbeard Pirates, where he was defeated, his fruit power somehow taken from him, and he was unable to stop the other pirates from killing most of his comrades.

In fact he believed all of his comrades were dead, so when he was given over to the world government and imprisoned in impel down, he gave up, not fighting. He stayed there for well over a year, largely forgotten by the world, wasting away mentally. Even when faced by the opportunity to escape by another pirate who broke in, La Spada, he remained in the depths of the prison.

That was until another prisoner, jack the drought, arrived and he was informed that at least Gambit was still alive and out there. And so, pulling himself free from the darkness at the bottom of the ocean, climbing out to the surface. Breaking free hundreds of prisoners, he defeated three vice admirals on his way out, as well as killing one of them before escaping. He met and made a covert deal with admiral aokiji on his way out, before escaping on a marine ship.

Making his way to the laughing archipelago together with a group of the prisoners, he reunited with three of his comrades and set himself back into the pirate crew as some sort of officer, he wasn’t sure yet. He had a brief conversation with gambit, though they lost connection quickly. Before leaving the island he visited the graves of his fallen comrades, where he spent several hours mourning them before breaking down and promising he would avenge them.

He then set out to strengthen the crew, helping the conquering of Briss, the largest kingdom in south blue. After attacking the capitol, he allied with the prince who killed the king, then defended the capitol against the rest of the lords of the kingdom, uniting them as a territory under the Silver Vampirates.

He also set out to hunt the remnants of the beast pirates and the poneglyph in wano, which we’ll see how it goes.

After the rebellion in Briss was quelled, he heard that Gambit had started a war with the world government, threatening to execute several high profiles in the marines. Full of fear of losing his comrades once more, he set out to defend Gambit while also demanding answers from him.

To be honest, for those who voted for me at all - thanks lol. I don't think I did much for Akira to consider much character development to be worthy of the award.

I'm genuinely curious as to which part of the character development that I did in which led to your votes though.
