EPILOGUE PART ONE
"ON SET"​

What the hell was going on here?! Was Fleck dreaming? 'Time travel?! Joby?! What the hell is this?! What's going on here?!' Fleck's world was spinning, the lights from up above him felt like daggers sticking into his temples. He stared bewilderedly at the strange imp in front of him.

The bizarre creature stood on top of the late night host's desk, small boulders were inexplicably tied around its ankles, and it sorta looked like it had been in a fight and lost.

"Where's Jerry?" the Joker cooed with a feigned frivolity which attempted to hide his disappointment. His big plan had involved a little surprise for the scumbag late night host who had mocked him, just as the world had mocked him. Just as his mother had mocked him... the fucking bitches would all see soon enough....

He couldn't remember why and how he had gotten to this place. He just knew that he was finally there. Everything he thought he knew about who 'Arthur Fleck' was or was supposed to be had been washed away. His whole life he had told himself he was waiting for someone else to come along and show him that he was real, that he existed. But Arthur Fleck didn't exist. He didn't need 'Arthur' anymore. His life was over anyways. The Joker had finally arrived!

"Jerry's dead in the trunk of my car," the sort of grimy monkey(at least Joker thought it was a monkey)-type thing answered as it rolled up a booger-ball between its thumb and index finger, eying its creation with relative disinterest.
"Jerry's wha--?"
"Let's move on. So, Arthur--can I call you Arthur?--they tell me your a comedian. Can you tell me any funny jokes?"
"I'd really prefer it if you'd call me Joker."
".....I've heard funnier," Joby sighed disinterestedly as he rolled backwards off the desk and into the bougie leather office chair behind it. He kicked his feet up, heavy rocks and all, casually onto the desk in front of him and crossed his fuzzy arms back behind his head like a pillow as he rocked back. " Let's move on. So Arthur--"
"MY NAME IS JOKER!!!! HAH HAH HAH HAAAAH!"
"Ohhhhhh! My bad, my bad! I thought that was a joke! Okay, relax relax, R-E-L-A-X! I'll call you Joker if that makes you more comfortable and less likely to lash out at me further--so, Joker, what's your relationship like with your mother?" the furry host asked as it shoved its entire fist up its nose, which was wrapped in bloody bandages. The creature winced slightly as if in pain, but continued with its endeavors.
"Why are you bringing up my mother?!" Joker asked nervously--did this weird monkey thing know that he had murdered his mother?! But how? 'Calm down Arthur.... stay calm'.
"Good question, Joker! Good question... well, how to answer. Ah! If I were to be so bold as to propose the adoption of a new Natural Law, it would be that: 'Men who go on national television, in clown make-up, who ask to be called 'Joker', will have undoubtedly held deep seeded and complicated views on their relationships to their mothers'. Does that make sense?" the imp concluded as it yanked a wet fist full of snot and a few smallish insects from its snout.

First extremely bastard game I played the game ended in a draw. This is my second extremely bastard game I played and no one won. These invest results in these type of setups sure are confusing and next time when I play a game like this maybe I should ignore the invest results and just focus on my reads instead LOL.
