「 Saboady Archipelago 」 - Post # 9
@kakashi19283

The Vice Admirals played a game close to their chests as one would go on the offensive the other would try playing the bait to lure in Sephiroth, just in time for the other to attack. Despite it being a good plan, the problem was they wasn't against anyone normal per say. The very individual had already had a run in with those that utilise Rokushiki, so nothing was shocking to the lunarian.

If Strawberry was against any other he would've had the upper hand in injuring them, but all of this could easily be said was in Sephiroth's favor. Sephiroth coated his back in dark hue that was met with the hardened jusshigan of Strawberry, but like an unmovable wall it simply bounced off the marine's attacks. Strawberry felt nothing but a sheer uneasiness of this mission at that moment, immediately backtracking a few steps clenching his fists as he kept his eyes on Sephiroth.

Whereas Doberman who was panting could do nothing but watch, but the carnage had in fact hadn't stopped. For what was coming as Sephiroths back began to ignite then erupt behind him that encompassing the area behind him. Strawberry who could do nothing but watch but in the nick of time shouted " Tekkai " as he further counted his forearms and legs in hardening.

Strawberry base Dura = 61 = Small Building Level
Tekkai increase = Mastery (81) / 5 = 16.2 = 61 + 16 = 77 (Still in the Small Building Level)
+2 hardening = City Block Level
Basic Tekkai:
Requirements: 11 Mastery, 21 Durability.
The user hardens their body, increasing Durability by Mastery/5.
11-50 mastery: 2 turn cool down
51-80 mastery: Can move while having tekkai activated.(2 turn cooldown) Not moving tekkai is 1 turn cooldown.
81-100 mastery: Using tekkai while moving has a 1 turn cooldown. Standing still tekkai has no cooldown.
Result = RIP Strawberry
The attack of the Lunarian began to disintegrate his infamous beard, as his clothes charred as he he could do nothing but meet his fate head on. Doberman all could do was watch as he shouted his name as the ignition began to kill also many marines as collateral damage.

The fire burning ferociously on Sephiroth's back erupted, unleashing a mighty inferno behind him. Vice Admiral Strawberry was engulfed, and the dance of fire and Haki overwhelmed him, defeating him and leaving him as nothing but a charred corpse. Many other Marine soldiers were engulfed in the large attack, blown away and thrown around by the inferno. Vice Admiral Doberman, who was still on his feet, looked at the mayhem in disbelief. They had come across a monster of the skies. Sephiroth flapped his wings and pushed off of the ground, charging toward the stunned Doberman. Fire and black Busou-shoku no Haki ran down the length of Sephiroth's sword as he closed the distance, pushing his sword forward in the form of a stab. Sephiroth aimed to pierce Doberman's chest. Whether he was successful or not, the tip of the sword would also unleash a powerful blast of fire, destroying the area in front of the stab.

Ignition Pierce...!

DPR: 101-119: 4. City Block Level + A:+3 + COA: +3 = 10. Large Country Level

As Sephiroth was destroying the battalion of Marines, his two Lunarian companions, Cyla and Gabriel, were elsewhere on the Sabaody Archipelago. They were not known to be connected to Sephiroth in any way, seeming as simply a man and a woman working on supplying a ship. They were bringing barrels of food and drinks onto the ship, getting the vessel ready for a longer trip.

Sephiroth needs to hurry up... I want to get going. To the New World...

Cyla said. Gabriel put down yet another barrel, before speaking.

I wonder what his plan is in the New World...

Doberman could just idly witness the carnage the lunarian was bringing forward. Witnessing Strawberry's signature beard charring as he would disintegrate, leaving nothing but appearing a charred skeletonised Strawberry still with his swords in his hands with many marines burning. Doberman was in disbelief, warm tears would roll down his cheek fully dwelling into his emotions tilting his head back as he would roar in grief yelling out his name " STRAWBERRRY! "

Sephiroth would launch his lift off by flapping his wings then appearing before Doberman engulfing his swords in flames and busoshoku haki then piercing Doberman through his chest as he would cough and hurl out blood, with a stream of red ink drooling out. The surrounding would become numb to him for a moment as losing a comrade with the sword piercing through his chest was the only warmth he'd have.

Knowing he didn't have long left, using the chance to his opportunity as he had Sephiroth where he would want him. His fingers expanded as he charged his fingers with the itty bit of bososhuku haki of hardening he could imbue, then launching from two directions

" This is my final straw, Jusshigan! "

Doberman played his final gambit, would Sephiroth let his sword go? ...

"Jusshigan"
Requirements: 61 mastery, 61 Strength
DPS: A
In this attack, the user puts both of his hands together and performs Shigan with all ten of his fingers at once, greatly damaging the opponent.
Doberman Base Str = 61 = Small Building Level
DPR A = +3 = Town Level
+2 Hardening = Mountain Level

Should Sephiroth tank the incoming attack Doberman is dead either way

Sephiroth's fire clad sword, imbued with black Busou-shoku no Haki, pierced into Vice Admiral Doberman's chest, as Vice Admiral Strawberry's charred body hit the floor behind Sephiroth. The two Vice Admirals were quickly overwhelmed. Sephiroth, the legendary Lunarian, was awakening - the fire on his back burning intensely, and his Haki growing stronger and stronger by the second. With his destined progress, Sephiroth was to become one of the strongest in the world, and going by his display of fighting ability on this day, an onlooker would be hard pressed to doubt Sephiroth's potential.

Vice Admiral Doberman coughed up blood and grit his teeth, summoning the last of his strength and Haki. Imbuing his fingers with all of his Willpower, Vice Admiral Doberman threw his hands forward, unleashing a powerful Jusshigan that aimed to pierce Sephiroth's natural armor, given to him by his Lunarian heritage. However, the armor was too strong. The Jusshigan collided with Sephiroth's body, but it failed to pierce through the natural armor.

101-119: 6. City Level + COA: +3 = 9. Small Country Level

Fall, human...

Black Busou-shoku no Haki faded from the area that was struck. Sephiroth pushed forward softly, and Vice Admiral Doberman would slide off of the blade of the sword. With his body no longer held up by Sephiroth's sword, Doberman would collapse, his body hitting the ground with a loud, resounding thud. The Marine soldiers that were still somehow alive saw their two superiors defeated. If they scattered and ran away in fear, Sephiroth would let them. But if they simply watched him in fear, Sephiroth would let them do that as well.

He would turn around and flap his wings, shooting up into the air. Seconds later, he would land on the roof of the building where the unconscious Celestial Dragon was. Holding the sword in his right hand, Sephiroth pulled the Celestial Dragon over his left shoulder, carrying him with relative ease. Using the high vantage point, Sephiroth looked around, analyzing the area to see if any Marine reinforcements were coming. If not, it would be time to get going and meet back up with Cyla and Gabriel.

The longer the fight the more the lunarian's fire ignited, the vice admirals didn't realise they were playing right in the hand of Sephiroth. Doberman played his final gambit in the hope of at least turning the scales, but he too underestimated the lunarian. First, it was Vice Admiral Strawberry and now it was Doberman as well, both would fall in the direct hands of the Lunarian.

Sephiroth's armor, like an unmovable wall, wouldn't even suffer a dent or scath, yet Doberman's fingers would swell up and throb upon attacking. Immediately feeling cold around his chest paying his last breaths as the sword slid out of his chest.

[SFX: CRACK and CACHUNG!]

Upon the sword sliding out that would keep Doberman on his feet would begin to buckle as he would collapse to the floor as in the space of the Human Auctioning House catastrophe to now the fall of not one but two vice admirals.

The marines looking at the entire situation would lose heart as they backed off terrified of the danger the lunarian possessed.

But what the marines who were present at Sabaody, Sephiroth, and all others there were something arriving that would make the Lunarian shiver.

With the defeat of the two Vice Admirals, the fall of the slave auction house, the escape of many of the slaves, and the abduction of a Celestial Dragon, all at the hands of one man - Sabaody was in uproar. The Marines, seeing their higherups dispatched off so quickly and convincingly, backed off, realizing that they had no chance. Sephiroth did not go after them. This whole time, Sephiroth had only done what he needed to do to save himself, give other slaves a chance of escape, and give himself a chance to live freely. He was not a monster that was purposefully going after Marines who had lost their fighting wills, and so all of those Marines were spared.

Instead, Sephiroth merely flapped his wings, flew up to the roof of the building where he had left the unconscious Celestial Dragon, and picked him back up, throwing him over his shoulder. From there, Sephiroth flapped his wings once again and took off. Flying through the air, Sephiroth made his way to the shores of Sabaody, where a small, wooden ship awaited. Cyla and Gabriel were seen packing up, bringing barrels aboard. Sephiroth landed onto the ship, speaking.

Are we ready to go?

Sephiroth said, Cyla looking at him strangely.

Who is that?

Cyla asked, referring to the unconscious man hanging over Sephiroth's shoulder.

Are you serious, Sephiroth?

Gabriel commented, recognizing the unconscious man based on his attire. Cyla looked at Gabriel, wondering what he was on about.

This is a noble... Celestial Dragons is what they're called, from what I've heard...

Sephiroth said. Even the name didn't ring much of a bell to Cyla. She was just as oblivious to these things as Sephiroth normally was. But Gabriel knew.

If you've abducted a man like him... the World Government will come after us full force. Are you prepared?

Gabriel asked.

That's exactly what I want. Let's get going.

Sephiroth said, with purpose in his eyes. He had a plan for the future. And with that, the ship set sail.

As panic ensured, many of the groves had been deserted due to the anarchy that spread from the events that transpired at the auction house. From the remains, the girl that resembled Cyla, she would be laid under some rubble. Disco the mastermind behind the entire auctioning house, fleed with the crowds, changing his appearance and taking his ID forever remembering how this incident would damage his reputation.

From another grove a number of smaller battleships with horns blazing with lights illuminating into the skies above through the branches and canopies of the trees. A warning sound could be heard as signifying a huge danger just occurred.

From a marine battleship, news broke as it was from the very one who was overseeing the earlier catastrophe of the fall of Moriah, with two vice admirals also perishing from the very hands of La Spada at Thriller Bark.

" Just what is going on, it's one thing after another. "

" I wonder which one is coming, is it Admiral Akainu or Admiral Aokiji? ... Hearing the leaked report didn't they say he was a Lunarian? ..." sighing as he would look out at Sabaody from a distance.

With Special Vice Admiral Dino speaking after placing his sleeves up, " Rumor is from Saboady that Strawberry and Doberman bit the dust, but the Admiral that is coming is ... "

As the name of the Admiral became mute then shock reaction, just who was the Admiral that was coming, and was Sephiroth ready for the one who was making his very way?

The ship that Sephiroth, Cyla and Gabriel were using to sail, was cutting through the waves, making its way away from Sabaody. At this point in time, they had just set sail, so they were still within one or two hundred meters away from the shoreline. Gabriel pulled onto the ropes, bringing the sail up. The winds rammed into it, pushing the ship along. Cyla was up in the crow's nest, looking around. If any Marine ships were in eye's distance, she would see them. As for Sephiroth, he was down on the deck, not far away from the unconscious Celestial Dragon. Sephiroth was looking around as well, until he heard the Celestial Dragon coming to. He was waking up. In a matter of seconds, the Celestial Dragon's eyes were opened and he elevated into a sitting position, looking around dazed and confused. Then it hit him. The memory of what happened earlier in the day. The last moments before he lost consciousness, after he was struck. With an enraged look on his face, the noble shouted, pointing at Sephiroth.

You mongrel! Do you know who I am?!

Our family rules this world! I order you to return me right this instant!

The noble demanded. Sephiroth looked at him, a glare in his eyes.

Shut up you weasel. Your status means nothing to me.

W-w-weasel?!

We've already set sail. You're not going back.

Sephiroth said, making his intentions clear. The Celestial Dragon was a hostage.

The Saboday Incident
Grove Shores
The Saboday Incident, as it became known. Today would mark a page in history. A page to be stained in blood of the heretics. The news spread quickly. Marineford was in full alert. For a Celestial Dragon to be kidnapped was unfathomable. The response to would go down in history, as the wrath of the heavens decided upon the archipelago. The first round of Vice-Admirals were just the first batch, one to hold off for the impending wrath. The alert from Saboday was not for the authorities - it was for the citizens. Evacuate. This island was lost.

The waters parted violently as dozens and dozens of Warships surrounded the Archipelago. In particular, the grove where the kidnapper was housed, was surrounded by fleets upon fleets. In the distance, cloaked by a thick mist, the criminals would not be able to see the warships, but they were there. So many there would not be passage for any other ship - completely surrounded. The massive power of the World Government zeroed in. This was not just a Buster Call. This was a few. The brass and hundreds of soldiers. Yet, they would not move. They would not engage. This would not be the response of the heavens. This would just be the cage for the forgotten. The ones to be erased from history today.

Suddenly, a deafening explosion occurred around the grove where Sephiroth and company were. A sound so loud, it would flutter the airwaves. The ocean seems to rise sky-high. The water a few leagues away from shore rose up fifty floors or so, as if defying the very laws of nature, as if forced upwards by a power bigger than nature. That booming sound would be muffed by an eerie crackling sound. The sound of ice taking hostage the water as it hit its highest point, instantly freezing the whole ocean surrounding the grove, the island waters, whole. Behind the ice were the dozens of Warships. The result would be a cage. A cage of solid iced water with edges to the heavens. A cage for those who would challenge the heavens.

From the mist, three figures walked on the solid ice towards the wooden ship frozen on the ice. Enter the judge, jury, and executioner.

There figures. On the right was a tall slim, yet muscular man. At 298 cm tall, the man donned black, curly hair cut to chin length that fans out at the tips, tanned skin, and an altogether lean, long build. His right arm and art of the man's was transformed into ice, as a mist sizzled from it. The other hand was in his pocket, mimicking the lazy look on his face. On his back was a coat - an Admiral's coat. The aura was cold, yet the heart felt as warm as magma. In staunch difference, the one on the left was a equally tall muscular man with a large chest and a Marine hat. The man bore a square-shaped face, very pronounced facial features, and short black hair. The imposing man wore black gloves and black shoes. On his back was a coat - an Admiral's coat. The aura was warm, yet the heart felt as cold as ice.

Two of the three World Government Greatest Powers.

[Admiral Akainu] "These damn evil pirates! Unforgivable! Today I will make an example for the world! I"LL BURN THEM ALL TO A CRISP!!"
[Admiral Aokiji] "Ara, ara, ara. A Celestial Dragon and Vice-Admirals to their name. How troublesome. Today was supposed to be my day off..."
One bore heat with a cold heart. The other one bore cold with a warm heart. Both with differing Justices, however, saw the same here. A murderer of their soldiers and the kidnapping of Royals. Judgment.

Trailing the taller admirals was a staunch older man in the middle. The man wore a purple samurai attire beneath his Special Admiral cloak. The man was blind, with only the whites of his eyes showing, now shut. He had an X-shaped scar centered on the left side of his forehead that stretches over both eyes, and short dark hair, a mustache, and a beard. On his back was a coat - a Special Admiral's coat. An aura tepid, with a heart of chambré. Enter the Blind.

The Powerful Monster of the Marines.

[SA Fujitora] "Let my justice be blind and quick."

The three Lunarians were sailing away from the Sabaody Archipelago, at this point a few hundred meters away from the shore. It looked like the coast was clear and they would get away from Sabaody with a Celestial Dragon in tow.

However, in a matter of moments, things took a completely different turn. A powerful sound erupted out at sea as if a meteor had hit it, and the sea parted, both parts raising up in the form of massive waves - almost tsunamis. Then, the entire sea, as far as the eye could see, froze over almost instantly. The Lunarians' ship was caught in the ice and they would not be able to move at all. In the distance, walking on top of the ice bed, were three men, large in stature and in rank.

Admiral Akainu.

Admiral Aokiji.

Special Vice Admiral Fujitora.

The top tier and the strongest officers of the Navy. Sephiroth clenched his fists and grit his teeth, but a small grin appeared. Did he actually want the Admirals to show up? What could possibly be Sephiroth's long term plan? Because undoubtedly, his short term plan was not to defeat the Admirals. There was no way he could at this point in time. There had to be something more to his plan. A long term vertical of the plan. Regardless, he had to survive here and now. Sephiroth shoved the Celestial Dragon over to Cyla, who grabbed him and kept him in place. The Celestial Dragon was shown no respect.

Cyla, keep that guy close to you.

Gabriel, defend the ship.

I'll go meet them.

Sephiroth said, eyes filled with purpose. He flapped his wings and jumped off of the ship, landing on the solid ice. He started to walk toward the Admials. His sword was sheathed on his left hip, his Lunarian fire burning on his back. Before long, they'd all come to a stop, a fair distance between them - but not too much to impair a conversation.

To what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you three?

Sephiroth questioned. The answer was obvious, but Sephiroth clearly didn't think these lowlife nobles warranted such drama. They were useless pigs.

The judge, jury, and executioner. It was clear who was whom. Three of the Strongest Powers of the World Goverment were summoned. Inside the cage that was the dozens stories-high iced ocean, surrounded by Buster Call Warships, were the three. From the fog that still plagued the area, the admirals came. Summoned by the actions of the Lunarian, the three were now a target. The honcho was easy to pick out by his stronger will, and he who came off the boat. Walking on the ice, the white-haired criminal came out to greet them, leaving the Tenryubito behind with the other two.

Standing in front of three admirals, the man bluffed. How irritating. The executioner spoke first.

[Admiral Akainu] "You filthy pirate! How dare you! I will burn you alive!"
Unfiltered justice. Akainu bit down his cigar, his eyes glowing red. A steam was birthed from his shoulders, all the more subtle. Fujitora, seemed unmoved. His closed eyes were not pointing at Sephiroth, yet his mind would always be watchful. He was the one who could most see, even the future. As Akainu roared, the Judge laid down the law.

Admiral Aokiji spoke.

[Admiral Aokiji] "Ara, ara, ara. Let’s be civilized, gents. There’s no need for lives to be lost today."
[Admiral Aokiji] “The Tenryubito. We shall have him returned to us. Respectfully, we ask you accompany us.”
Aokiji groaned, his calm demeanor exuding. However, even Sephiroth could feel this was a power deep. Like a deep well. Hidden, calm, but overbearing. Like a distant shriek in dark forest. The admirals were there for the Tenryubito. They also were there for the criminal. Nothing was mentioned of the other two in the ship. Their fates were up in the air.

The jury kept quiet. Blind Justice. Unable to see, yet ever watching the accused. It would be he who determines culpability.

Sephiroth stood in front of the 3 Admirals of the Navy. One hot tempered, one coldly calm, and the other strikingly quiet, the three Admirals blocked Sephiroth's escape from the Sabaody Archipelago. Admiral Akainu snapped with anger, declaring that he would burn Sephiroth alive. Admiral Aokiji intervened, asking for the Celestial Dragon to be returned to them, and for Sephiroth to come with them. Sephiroth did not act in violence or with bloodlust, though the Lunarian fire did burn strongly on his back. Sephiroth looked at Admiral Aokiji, talking to the one who wished to talk, instead of the one that was exploding with anger and violence.

Aokiji, if I remember correctly...

Sephiroth said, having studied the Navy's hierarchy to a small extent, but having never met any of the Admirals.

What did I do wrong?

I destroyed an auction house that sold slaves, and I was hunted down for it by your subordinates.

Sephiroth said, referring to Vice Admirals Strawberry and Doberman.

Does the Navy support slave trade?

Sephiroth asking, cutting straight to the point.

The men met in the iced waters, surrounded by mist. Frozen against the ice was the small boat. The two conspirators of Sephiroth held the captive Tenryubito. The main actor came to greet the three - the judge, jury, and executioner. Sephiroth was unperturbed. Standing in front of three of the strongest people in the world, the Lunarian did not flinch. Even the Pirate King’s right hand man expressed concern over one. Was Sephoroth brave, or just a fool? The Admirals asked the Tenryubito be returned, and the Lunarian to accompany them.

Sephiroth would respond with a sarcastic question. Met with rage.

[Admiral Akainu] "What did you do wrong?! You murdered two Navy Vice-admirals and countless others!”
Admiral Akainu’s hand had turned a dark reddish color, unleashing steam. Whatever game Sephiroth was playing, it would not last long. Patience was not a virtue of this Admiral. Akainu roared, his gaze burning in more ways than one and meeting Sephiroth. The intent was palatable. Absolute.

The Judge, ever pragmatic, first answered Sephiroth’s rhetorical question about alleged crimes of others.
[Admiral Aokiji] "Those who broke the law will be tried for their crimes in due time. However, their day is not today - it’s yours."
A statement this writer had made to a jury many times. Today was not the other’s day in court - it was Sephiroth’s. Admiral Aokiji suggested those who committed crimes in Archipielago would be tried for their crimes. Did he mean the Tenryubito as well? Aokiji had that terrifying calm. A judge that bore no bias. The man would lay down the law.

Taking a deep breath, Admiral Aokiji spoke candidly.
[Admiral Aokiji] “I offer you a deal. Return to us now Saint Charlos alive and well. In exchange, your comrades will not be harmed or persecuted. They will be given safe passage and absolved of their crimes. You have my word.”
[Admiral Aokiji] “As for yourself. No harm will come today. You will be escorted as our prisoner to Marineford and tried for your crimes. Your fate will be determined there.”
That was the deal. Take it or leave it. One chance. There was no need for a threat. It was clear what would happen if the Lunarian would not oblige. The executioner would be set loose. Finally, for the first time, the jury spoke. His spoke was short, olden, and weighty.

Special Admiral Fujitora spoke calmly.

[Fujitora] “Be mindful of your next words, my son. The fate of many depends on it.”

The three Admirals of the Navy made an ultimatum. Sephiroth was to give himself in and return the Celestial Dragon. In return, Sephiroth's companions, Cyla and Gabriel, would be let off the hook for now. After all, they were not directly involved. Sephiroth's actions were those of a lone wolf in this case, as far as his abduction of the Celestial Dragon went. Admiral Aokiji was the one to form the proposal, and special Vice Admiral Fujitora was the one to urge Sephiroth to take it. Admiral Akainu, the red dog, was not one to talk about proposals and negotiation. He was the bloodhound that aimed to kill any pirate on the spot.

Sephiroth's Lunarian fire burned hot on his back and his wings were spread wide, showing a confident wingspan and the readiness to engage. But, that was bravado to a large extent. There was no man in the world that could defeat all three of the Admirals alone, and Sephiroth knew that. Having said that, Sephiroth did not need to defeat them. He merely had to keep his wits about him, and not do something stupid in front of the intimidation that the three Admirals possessed. If Sephiroth were to agree to this deal, that would be playing into their intimidation tactic. He would be imprisoned and likely never see the light of day again. Cyla and Gabriel would undoubtedly be hunted down in the future as well.

Sephiroth had to keep a strong heart and not forget the weapons that he possessed in this situation. There was a fair distance between the three Admirals and the ship. And Cyla was grabbing the Celestial Dragon. As strong and as quick as the three Admirals were, there was no way to close the distance in time. Cyla could kill the Celestial Dragon in a split second. With Sephiroth standing inbetween the Admirals and the ship, them making it in time was even less of a possibility. Sephiroth was not strong enough to fight a prolonged fight against the Admirals, but he could undoubtedly stall them more than long enough for Cyla to make the kill.

In other words, Sephiroth was the one that had the advantage in this negotiation. But, he could not overestimate his advantage either. If he asked for too much, perhaps the Admirals would kill him regardless of the situation. They would definitely not settle for something like allowing Sephiroth to leave with the Celestial Dragon in tow. But, there was a good middle ground. With a sharp look in his eyes, Sephiroth spoke.

I will not hand him over and hand myself in. Doing so would forfeit my future, and my comrades would be hunted down later on regardless.

Cyla could kill that fat noble in less than a second. Make no mistake...

I know I cannot fight the three of you off. But I know I can intercept you long enough for Cyla to make her kill. If you want the noble to survive, you will let us go.

I have no use for his life. I don't care if he lives or dies. I destroyed the slave house and I kept him as insurance. What happens to him now is only up to you.

Sephiroth said, putting the ball in their court. Cyla's hand was on the Celestial Dragon's neck. She did not even have to move. Merely activating her Lunarian fire would inflict burns severe enough to kill a man as weak as Saint Charlos.

Saint Charlos' life is spared and the three of us disappear. Make your choice.

Enter the judgment. The negotiation and begun. One side was the zWorld Government. The other side was pirates, or evil, as the executioner would qualify them as. Sephiroth and his motly crew stared down the barrel of three Admirals, the strongest of the World. One hot, one chill, and one blind. Such would track their purpose and their Justice. Admiral Aokiji was the judge, the mediator, the unbiased balancing power. It was he who doled put the ultimatum, suggesting the safety of two for the safety of one, Sephiroth begone a prisoner.

Taking time to digest, the Lunarian with his show of wings, to which intimidated no one - these were prime powers - would ponder. While Akainu fumed, Aokiji seemed stoic. Fujitora, however, was deep in thought. He was, after all, the jury, the fact-finder. Admiral Aokiji dramatically turned to Fujitora, waiting for his answer. Seconds of tension passed. Judgment would be decided here.

Fujitora lifted his head but an inch, and nodded.
[Admiral Aokiji] “There you have it. So shall it be. You have our word: today you all will be given safe harbor. In exchange, Saint Charlos will be returned with nay another hair hurt.”
Admiral Aokiji laid down the law. The tall man looked to his left, to the distance, and raised his arm. It cracked into ice, with a cold gaze looking at the distance, to the ocean wall to the left. The cold mist that existed began to fade to the left as the sound of thunderous claps of ice cracking and falling to the sea. As the mist would fade to the left, one could see a warship-sized hole in the ice, with no Buster Calk ships behind it: the safe path.

Admiral Aokiji cleared his throat and spoke into a den den mushi.

[Admiral Aokiji] “All forces. This is Admiral Aokiji speaking. The target has been secured and marked safe. No one touch the small ship to pass through the opening. That is an order.”
There was an “Aye” from each of the commanders of the Buster Call ships. With a nod, Fujitora walked forward, his cane clacking on the solid ice. He gently passed by Sephiroth towards the the ship. If they had any mantra, they’d feel no malicious intent. The blond man would stop five meters from the wooden boat and extended his hand - awaiting Sa8nt Charlos to be delivered.

[Fujitora] “Thank you all for avoiding bloodshed. These eyes do not see, but we’re able to catch that.”
Admiral Akainu seethed, but he did not move nor speak. It was up to Sephiroth to hold up his end of the bargain.

Sephiroth proposed a deal. His show of wingspan was not meant to intimidate, but merely display that he, himself, was also not intimidated - although he had reason to be. Perhaps it was foolishness and naivety, or perhaps it was the fact that he had a greater purpose, and he was adamant on achieving it. Today would not be his last. Admirals Aokiji and Fujitora exchanged glances, communicating effectively. Fujitora had nodded his head, and Admiral Aokiji decided. Sephiroth, Cyla and Gabriel would leave unharmed, and Saint Charlos would be left unharmed as well. A temporary peace treaty for this day, one could say.

I am glad good exists on both sides. I hope to never see slaves auctioned off again.

Sephiroth said, as if perhaps thanking Admiral Aokiji's reasonableness. Fujitora walked past Sephiroth and toward the ship. Sephiroth flapped his wings, taking off into the air. There was no malicious intent from him either. Cyla and Gabriel did the same, all three Lunarians flying high up into the air. Saint Charlos was left behind safe, as was the deal. The ship was left behind as well, the three Lunarians preferring to leave through the air.

Are you sure about this, Sephiroth? Cyla asked.

We don't have a choice. Gabriel said.

We will fight on another day.

Sephiroth confirmed. The three Lunarians would turn their backs toward the Admirals and toward the Sabaody Archipelago, flying away.

Enter the judgment. The jury came down with a verdic. The judge laid down the terms of the sentence. The Lunarians would return Saint Charlos safely, and they would not be harmed… today. Surely, their infamy would grow as now clear enemies of the Twenty Kings who rule over the world from the heavens. Fujitora, blind but all-seeing, turned Saint Charlos when the Lunarians left. With a relieved sigh, the man grabbed the unconscious Tenryubito. Admiral Aokiji spoke to the den den mushi, now correcting the ones who would not be touched were no longer by ship, but by flight - or glide, more appropriately. Meanwhile, Admiral Akainu, the executioner, seethed. As promised, the ships did not attack. Aokiji and Fujitora did not attack - they had kept their word. The path open to the sea was undisturbed.

Undisturbed until they were on the cusp of passing the threshold. Suddenly, and without warning, black-maroon fists of unholy fire rained.
Unholy fire. Speeds of a volcano and blitzed by gravity, humongous fists of lava rained down in a large area around the three, them at the epicenter. There was no escape. The very heat off the fists, even if barely missed, would singe a human’s skin - even Lunarian skin would feel uncomfortable in the heat. The fists would destroy and instantly melt the ice below, it’s lattice aiming to take down the trio in one powerful swoop. Admiral Akainu’s will, his spirit, was felt in the fists, making it seem as if he everywhere, while his infamous strong voice echoed angrily.

Did the Red Dog had more bark than bite?

[Admiral Akainu] “To hell with Kuzan’s diplomacy! Do you really think I’d let you pirates escape with your lives?!”

The fists would rain down. In a sneak attack, on a fist that missed but passed closest to the ringleader, Sephiroth, the magma would implode. From it, a new volcanic eruption was birthed. At speeds aided by Soru (120 DF/Soru), Akainu appeared upon Sephiroth, the birthing fist of fire that was trailing already morphed into another. With a roar and spirit that cut the air, a massive dog, easily four times the size of Sephiroth, erupted towards the evil pirate. The dog was beet red with powerful haki, aided by the technique of Shigan. The Great Power did not disappoint - there was little to nothing being held back.

[Admiral Akainu] “Inugami Guren…”
The highest offensive power of Devil Fruits. The giant seismic explosion that would follow would engulf out the area, forming a cataclysm when the explosion swallowed the fists that rained down, combining into a fiery hakied inferno to be seen for miles. Magma strong enough to burn fire itself. Burn in the fires of Absolute Justice.

Answer: the Red Dog had more bite than bark.

[Admiral Akainu] “CATACLYSM ERUPTION!!!”

Ryusei Kazan (literally meaning "Meteor Volcano"): An attack resembling Dai Funka, but with multiple giant magma fists rather than just one. Sakazuki points both fists into the air and fires a great number of magmic fists upwards in order to let them rain down upon the battlefield, wreaking enormous area damage in what resembles a cross between a volcanic eruption and a meteor shower.

The three Lunarians flapped their wings, ascending high up into the air, before taking off. The Celestial Dragon was left behind along with the ship, allowing Admiral Fujitora to collect them. Admiral Aokiji spoke on the Den Den Mushi, informing all of the ships that made up the Buster Call, to not fire. As the three Lunarians were flying away, Admiral Akainu was seething with anger and rage. Letting pirates get away, even if only temporarily, was in stark conflict with his Absolute Justice. And it was burning him inside.

High up in the air and flying further and further away, the three Lunarians conversed.

Looks like everything is proceeding according to plan.

We will need a new ship.

We'll need more than a ship. The World Government is sure to come aft-!

As Cyla was speaking, a large shadow cast over the trio. As they turned around and looked upward, they saw a meteor shower of volcanic fists descending upon them.

Akainu...

Sephiroth's eyes widened in shock. His left arm immediately reached for the scabbard on his left hip and his right hand immediately grabbed the hilt of the sheathed sword. Sephiroth's hands turned black with Busou-shoku no Haki, which spread down the length of the scabbard and the sheathed sword. Sephiroth unsheathed the sword, unleashing a powerful, upward Iaido slash. Whirling flames, clad with enormous black Busou-shoku no Haki, followed the arc of the swing. At the pinnacle of the swing, the whirling flames, filled with Sephiroth's powerful will, were unleashed forward, creating a powerful fiery inferno that collided with a number of the volcanic fists.

Sephiroth's attack was not as widespread as the meteor shower, but it served to collide with the volcanic fists that would hit Sephiroth, Cyla and Gabriel. The rest of the meteor shower was free to descend, ravaging the land of ice and sea below.

DPR: 101-119: 4. City Block Level + S:+4 + COA: +3 = 11. Small Continent Level

However, Akainu was not done. As Sephiroth destroyed a number of the volcanic fists, one that passed him by suddenly erupted. Akainu emerged from it, striking. His fist came forward, unleashing a mighty red hound of volcanic magma, engulfing Sephiroth. The magma, heat and red energy emanating from Akainu's mighty attack filled the skies, obscuring Sephiroth from view. Whether he had managed to defend, or at least parry part of Akainu's attack, was anyone's guess. But, by the time the obscurity cleared, a gruesome sight was revealed. Sephiroth's left wing, imbued with black Busou-shoku no Haki, was largely gone. Over 90% of it was missing, and what was left of it, had remnants of Akainu's cindering magma on it. The Admiral had literally burned Sephiroth's wing off. Burn marks were seen on various parts of Sephiroth's body. Most severe were the burn marks on Sephiroth's left arm, though his arm was still with him, and will recover. Hate boiled in Sephiroth's eyes. He was gritting his teeth, and clenching the hilt of his sword. Sephiroth was enraged.

I should have expected nothing less from a man of Evil, filled with rage.

BUT TODAY IS NOT THE DAY I DIE!

Sephiroth proclaimed. The Lunarian fire on his back suddenly erupted, forming three massive Hydras of Lunarian fire. Black Busou-shoku no Haki clad the three Hydras, giving them immense power. The three Hydras descended upon Akainu, aiming to send him plummeting to the depths of the cursed Sea.

120: 5. Town Level + S+:+5 + COA: +3 = 13. Moon Level

The defeat of Admiral Akainu was unlikely on this day as well. But, an attack of such enormous power was sure to give the three Lunarians a chance of escape. As the Hydras descended upon Admiral Akainu, both Cyla and Gabriel appeared next to Sephiroth, grabbing him under his arms. Sephiroth could no longer fly, but Cyla and Gabriel could. Flapping their wings, the Lunarians flew away - hopefully making a successful escape from the hellhound - Admiral Akainu.

The Saboday Incident
Grove Shores
The hellhound. The Great Power would burn. In unholy fire and anger that could be tasted, Admiral Akainu formed a cataclysm of lava that enveloped Sephiroth, heard miles away. From it, the now maimed and heavily wounded Sephiroth appeared. No doubt his Lunarian heritage was responsible for his narrow escape from certain death. The man summoned his entire will to strike back, protecting his comrades, not unlike how Akainu was protecting the memory of the Marines that Sephiroth claimed. Birthed was three-pronged dragon of fire.

The magma man cocked his hand back, lava exploding outward as he punched. From his fist came a Giant Fist exploding like a volcanic eruption, tempered with Haki of the highest caliber. The attacks clashed. A loud clang signified them dissipating, with Akainu’s magma, being of higher order of nature than fire, pushing through and touching the rest of the immediate battlefield. As the three ran, small pellets of lava rained down on them from the aftermath of the attack.

Suddenly, a few moments later, lava erupted from the water, spewing a humongous wall of magma that barred the trio’s only escape. An underground volcano.

[Admiral Akainu] “Didn’t I tell you… I was not going to let you damn pirates escape?!”

Behind the trio appeared Akainu, his body fully transformed in lava. His feet fed magma to the water, evaporating it to the ocean floor - thankfully, they were on the shores of Saboday. The trio were cornered, trapped between the rushing lava and the Hellhound.

Suddenly, two figures stepped to the back and to the right side of Akainu, restraining him. Admiral Aokiji held Akainu from the back, ice crackling over his whole body. Special Admiral Fujitora was on Akainu’s right side, his blade up to the Hellhound’s neck. Fuji’s face was of full concern - he had seen the future. With a roar, Akainu exploded in a torrent of magma. Both Fujitora and Aokiji were blown away, barely making it into remaining slabs of ice. They struggled to get up - Akainu had put them down. He was not to be denied Justice.

Admiral Akainu roared with the hounds of hell.

[Admiral Akainu] “I WON’T FORGIVE THE EVILS OF PIRACY!”
Dramatically, the seemingly invincible force raised both his hands. Atop them, a swirling ball of lava was created almost instantly. A magma force that reached giant; Emperor Magma. The sea was roused. The underground volcanoes formed by the air from the Grove Trees began to rumble. The whole island, the whole sea, shook, cracking what was left of the ice. From below and above. Z. Suddenly, the camera would whirl into Sephiroth’s eyes. For a moment, trapped and looking down at certain death, Future Sight would trigger.

[Future Sight]
Admiral Akainu threw down the massive force of magma. From below, underground volcanoes erupted. The result was a bi-eruption of magma that would send a plume to the sky, like an atomic bomb. In one shot, Saboday Archipielago would tear and be blown to pieces. In one shot, the very sea formed a chasm to envelop the horizon, lava triumphant. All civilians. Most Marines. All pirates. Dead. Even Aokiji and Fujitora lay heavily wounded. The biggest attack a single Marine had in their arsenal. Apocalypse.

Suddenly, Sephiroth would be awoken from the future sight by the ringing of a den den mushi. Akainu looked down to the den den mushi sticking from his outer coat pocket, his attack still held above him. A familiar voice spoke.

[Fleet Admiral Sengoku] “Sakazuki! Stop this instant! The eyes of the world are watching!”
Admiral Akainu turned. In the distance, were a group of people in what was left of the ice. Blown away before, but braving the terror for the sake of journalism, was a woman and her camera crew. The famous Carly and her news crew zoomed in on Admiral Akainu and the trio. They had been watching all along, from the slave auction, to the deal made, to the deal broken, to Akainu’s anger. Everything, beamed to every screen in the seas.

Sengoku screamed in desperation, just outside the earshot of the cameras.

[Fleet Admiral Sengoku] “I’m watching everything from a goddamn screen! And so is the entire world! If you destroy that island and all those civilians to kill three pirates… we won’t ever live it down!”
[Fleet Admiral Sengoku] “Stand down this instant! THAT’S AN ORDER!!

Admiral Aokiji and Fujitora slowly got to their feet. Now it would become clear why they tried to stop a fellow Admiral. The Hellhound turned to Sephiroth. A terrible intent gaze was shot, teeth gritting.

[Admiral Akainu] “I’ll remember your name, you filthy pirate! We will see each other again!”
Suddenly, the sea stopped rumbling. The massive attack Akainu held was absorbed back into his body. The lava barrier dissipated, leaving a clear escape and exit for the trio. The Hellhound never stopped his intentful gaze - this was personal now between him and Sephiroth. The Admiral growled as he turned away, his Admiral cloak flapping behind him. The Hellhound was lost in the steam, though his anger persevered.

With nay a blade or a fist, only a camera, Carly unwittingly saved, not just the three pirates, but thousands.

The chapter would close. Infamy for Admiral Akainu spread. Nicknamed “The Executioner”. News spun by the World Government, the pirates, seeing the Marine’s power firsthand, now cowered. In return, Sephiroth’s name would be emblazoned on the pages of history under the page titled…

‘The Saboday Incident’.
(picture of Akainu in the Newspaper covering the Saboday Incident)

Akainu DPS: Akainu DPS: 120: 5. Town Level +5 S+ Rank + 3 120 Haki = 13. Moon Level

Dai Funka (literally meaning: "Great/Major Eruption"): Sakazuki's signature attack. He transforms his (usually right) fist into pure magma before expanding and throwing it forward akin to an oversized rocket, burning whatever lies in its path. The giant fist may further be made to explode, bursting apart into meteor showers.

Sephiroth, Cyla and Gabriel on the run, they saw Admiral Akainu in hot pursuit. Admirals Aokiji and Fujitora attempted to stop the hotblooded man, but to no avail. Admiral Akainu roared, unleashing magma hot, burning rage from deep within - a hatred for pirates unlike anyone else's. Sephiroth readied himself to defend, the Lunarian fire on his back burning intensely. But, just before all hell broke loose, the Buddha's voice reached far and wide. Fleet Admiral Sengoku, a man of unparalleled command, intervened, issuing Admiral Akainu an order that even he could not break. He was to stop.

The lives of three pirates could not outweigh the lives of thousands. Even Absolute Justice could not justify such a sacrifice. Cyla and Gabriel flapped their wings, flying away with Sephiroth helped by them.

As the three Lunarians were flying away, Sephiroth looked at the horizon - the setting sun reflecting in his eyes. In thought, Sephiroth decided.

I know who my enemy is now...

Absolute Justice.

Sephiroth said. He saw hope for the world within Admiral Aokiji and Fujitora. And Fleet Admiral Sengoku showed exemplary leadership. But if the future of the World Government was left in the hands of the likes of Admiral Akainu, the world would burn to the ground. Sephiroth's rage within him grew. A metamorphosis of the soul.
