Upon arriving at this lush, wonderous place, travelers often mistake it for an island, but that is actually wrong. Sabaody Archipelago is actually trees that are growing from the ocean floor and have formed a surface over the water that people found and settled on years ago. It makes up a total of 79 trees, and on this island you can find anything from ship mechanics to amusement parks and even slave auctions. Many pirates stop here on their way to the New World to have their ship coated.

The Silver Bullet cut through the water as if it was nothing, sailing down towards the cluster of trees in the distance. Saboady Archipelago was bustling with life, even visible from their view a few hundred meters out. Koujiro stood at the helm of the ship, making sure to direct the ship safely to its destination. On the deck below Larsi sat, legs folded. He had a habit of not participating too much in the running of the ship, lest he ruin it due to his massive size. Instead he preferred to oversee and command, his head barely being under the sail. Seeing the mangrove draw close, he turned his head and shouted at Koujiro, while pointing off to the right. Take us over to grove 50. That's the shipping area, we should be able to find a ship's coater there!

Aye aye captain!
Koujiro obliged, turning the wheel and so the ship around, slightly to the right. Meanwhile the giant turned his attention to the other two people aboard apart from Gambit. Haddock as he went by was and older man with a gruff face, poorly kept black hair and beard. Tintin was a young man with a younger face and short, yellow hair. Rein in the sails. The two obliged, disappearing off to tuck in some of the sails.

Minutes later they docked against the roots of Grove 50. Stepping ashore, Larsi looked around, signaling for his crew to stay aboard. Koujiro rested against the wheel while the two crewmen sat down against each their mast, having tucked in all the sails and secured the ship against the "shore". Stepping up to the first building, a scared woman sat in front, looking up at the giant. He had no desire to calm the her, simply asking her for directions.
I need someone to coat my ship. She raised a shaking arm, pointing down to one of the wharfs a few hundred meters down. Simply nodding his thanks, Larsi walked off in the direction given.

Fifteen minutes later he returned with a man stuck between fear and giddiness. Sam the Ship Coater he called himself. Larsi only hoped his name was fitting. Turning to Gambit, the giant spoke quickly.
You've three days to find your man, then we leave.

Aboard the Silver Bullet, Gambit spent the entire travel period in training using his weapons: a jutte and decks of metal cards both made of steel. He would ask the youngest crew aboard the ship, Tintin to stand still placing an apple on his head as he tried to target it many times over, enhancing his marksmanship. The boy would always pee to death, scared of being hit on his forehead. It would be followed through with letting the boy hang himself holding his jutte as he lifted it up and down thousand times, strengthening his muscles and concentration. They would do this session every morning, noon, and before dusk. Old man Haddock would only laugh his old fart out, sharing stories on how he did things exactly the same in his younger days in which Koujiro would only laugh and denied the claim. Gambit got along easily with the rest of the crew in a short period of time.

And after six days aboard the Silver Bullet, traversing the seas of the Grandline, they finally had a clear vision of their first stop, as they were welcomed by an army of giant trees, set in place altogether to form a resting place for thousands of lives, The Sabaody Archipelago. As they drew near the shore, Captain commanded Koujiro to disembark at Grove 50 and locate a ship coater for them. Gambit suggested that T-Bag would handle this but the captain wouldn't wait as they needed to rush out. He approached a woman, scared to death, asking for direction as to where they could find a coater, in which she responded accordingly. Quarter an hour had passed, Larsi returned, bringing in Sam to do the task.

Enjoying his bottle of vodka and first class tobacco, Larsi interrupted and tasked him to find T-Bag the soonest as they should resume their voyage in three days under the Red Line. Packing his things and holstering his weapons back to his person, he responded to Larsi and turned away, "Roger that, Cap! There's only one place that scumbag will head, Shakky's Rip-off Bar. Will take several kilometers for me to reach there but I shall get him ahead of time. I shall be back within the day. Will also ask tips from the Dark King himself about Haki Flow so it's win-win for me. Adios." he exited raising his right hand.
------------------------------------------------------------

After seven hours of walking, crossing bridges, hiding from the marines roaming, Gambit arrived at Shakky's. And as expected, a man about 187 cm in height, medium built, wearing a white shirt, a cowboy's pants, dark short-haired, and carrying a gun and a rope, was sitting beside Shakky inside the bar. "T-Bag! I am glad you made it here."

Turning around, T-Bag stared closer and was glad of the pretty face he just saw. "PPretty? Hahahaha Alackaday!"

"How's your pocket going eh?" he welcomed his friend with a big hug, tapping his back few times before he pulled himself away.

"Aha! You bet. So tell me, is it only me, or am I getting sexier than you now, huh Pretty? Come over here, this one's Shakky and my kinda girl. We've been talkin' how our previous affairs brought out the best in ourselves and I was like, 'You was right all this time.' Turning back to Gambit, "Hahaha. Shakky, this one's my trusted friend, Gambit, He is a prince from some tribes, was you? Anyway, we have to go now as we have some negativities to capture in our ways. Felt bad that Dark King wasn't here but maybe next time he'd be round... Gracias!" kissing Shakky in her cheeks as they bid farewell.

The two men, headed back to the ship as they walked past the same obstacles Gambit had earlier. However, it took them only two hours because T-Bag knows a way how to reach their destination faster, a flying fish ride.

Back in the ship, "Koujiro!" he shouted, "Where's cap? I have brought my man." Koujiro gestured inside..

Jumping aboard the ship in which T-Bag followed right after, he introduced him to his captain. "Captain, would like you to meet T-Bag." tapping the man's chest repeatedly, signalling him to talk.

Dropping his jaw in amusement, he startled, "D-D-D-Damn! L-L-L-Larsi is your captain?! P-P-P-Pleased to meet you boss!" sweatin, T-Bag still smiled widely and bowed his head to the man in command before introducing himself. "Name is T-Bag. T-e-e-B.. Aaaaah.." Shook his head as he forgot what letter was next, looking around and seemed thinking more like guessing. "T--e--e--B.. Damn!" he sighed and tried once more, "T----B----A-----G. T-Bag.. Boss.." he stomped his foot and clappped once in joy while licking his lower lip, winking at Gambit.

"Never gets old Tee.. Never gets old.. Hehe.." Gambit chuckled, shaking his head.

Larsi was seated on the deck as he usually was, as Sam was busy coating the ship. Watching the man do his work, as far as the giant could tell his nickname was apt. He was working quickly and steadily, covering the ship with the strange soap like film. As the captain sat there, Gambit returned, his friend in tow. As they walked aboard, his new friend seemed nerveous, a reaction that Larsi was starting to tire of. But he also had a weird fedling abouy the other man, something he just couldn't shake. Something told him to be careful around this guy, but the giant decided not to say anything as to not give the stranger a reason to be more cautious. He instead only nodded in his direction.

Almost three days later Larsi was sleeping stretched out on the grass next to the ship's docking place, having been asked to vacate the ship to make the final touches of the coating process easier. The poor people who he had scared upon arrival were sort of warming up to him, and had even brought him some food, although of course it was little more than a snack to someone of his size. Nevertheless he was grateful for the gesture, and had even repelled a few bandits the day before. They were sure to leave them be for now.

He woke to Koujiro shaking his shoulder with all his force. Groaning, the giant sat up, looking around questioningly.
What's going on?

Koujiro smiled and gestured at the ship. We're ready to set sail!

A smile spread across the giant's face as be rose to his feet, stepping aboard the ship. He already knew what to do, so he thanked and paid Sam before sending him on his merry way. Pushing the ship off shore, the Silver Hair sat down in his usual spot and watched and commanded his men. Soon they had dove beneath the sirface on their way to the New World.

On the third night in Sabaody, the crew gathered far away from Larsi and drank to celebrate T-Bag's arrival and their last day in the place. At first, the three kept asking him what he does with his rope, in which he answered that it's to commit suicide when time comes, having everyone laughed to death. They kept on drinking until all of them lost sanity. They woke up all wasted, naked, and no more cash in their persons. "Who the hell took our money?!" Gambit asked.

"You spent it all last night kid", Old man Haddock said followed by a sarcastic laugh.

"Ugh! For real?!" he scoffed "Damn!" turning to all of them, he gestured to get back to the ship and see how it's now.

Back to the ship, they found out that it was almost finished and was amazed by how it was done perfectly by Sam. Later, their captain was advised that it was finished and ready to sail. He paid Sam and sent him off before ordering his men to gather as they would sail in no time.

"Ok guys, this is it. Let's get underwater!" Gambit echoed while clapping his hands in thrill.. Turning to T-Bag, he said "Prepare yourself. We are going to war." he said with a fierce look at him.

"Aye Pretty" he notioned and licked his lips in excitement.

Burning his cigarette, standing on the bow, Gambit said to himself, It's payback time Redfield.

A boat covered by a Buble was seen at the sea. On their way to the next island, The troublemakers had to stop by two different island first. They had to stop and coat the vessel to continue their journey. Billy childhood friend was on Sabaody and promised to do the job in only three days. The name was Bryan and Angelo thought of a way to get us to not waste time staying at SA. He told Billy friend to coat a ship similar to ours and that we'll do the exchange at SA since it'll take us approximately the same time to reach the island. He agreed on that and this morning he already gave his location. The area was deserted and covered by mist at dawn and evening, perfect for the exchange. Banaro loot was given as fees and explanation were given to the 5 men. After the boat started to sink slowly. Now the next stop would probably have some few funerals.

It had been a long and stressful journey for the little captive of the Brownbeard Pirates. He had been being used a chair by his captors for nearly a month straight; being starved and prodded, however he was kept alive and unbruised as per Brownbeard's orders. The small ship had barely managed to last the rushed journey from Foodvalten, but was at last within viewing distance of The Sabaody Archipelago.
Jarvis cheered out at the sight of the enormous mangrove trees. "We're finally getting rid of this little monster!" He exclaimed with a proud smile.

Amon nodded in response whilst sitting atop the blue fishman boy. "What a shame, he just stopped squirming." The taller, dusty-skinned man quipped back darkly. With stomach roaring, Gochi began squirming once more to spite his human captor. His leathery, blue hands were bound behind him by a pair of handcuffs and his hat pulled down over his disproportionately large head.
The two pirates had planned to move quickly through a place known as the lawless area and to drop off their fishy bounty. What they hadn't planned on though, was erroneously stopping at Grove 8.
Grove 8
was located in the lawless area and was known to be the location of the hideout of notorious slave-trader, Peterman, the hulking leader of his gang: The Hound Pets.

Before hopping ashore the colossal mangrove, Jarvis splashed ocean water onto the fishboy and dropped ration scraps into his awaiting mouth. The humans dragged the short pirate captain off of their small boat and onto the tree behind them.

Unknowingly to themselves, the two rookie kidnappers were openly advertising their little, blue lottery ticket to all of the scum of the lawless area. The bound fishman barked out obscenities from beneath his hat and thrashed about with an awakened sense of energy.

Gochi had been cheated; the boy had been fully expecting a delicious feast when he had set out to Foodvalten. These pirates had promised him scrumptious foods but tricked him. Now he was under their control.
He howled out in defiance. "LET ME GO-!"

The two Brownbeard Pirates soon realized their alarming predicament, they were unfamiliar with Sabaody's layout. Amon and Jarvis looked about in confusion. Hesitantly, the two men roughly dragged along the fishboy towards where they believed the auction house would be, travelling further and further into Grove 8.

-Sabaody Archipelago: The Underworld-

Hello there! I am your narrator for today. I have master's degree in English and Composition so please bare with my formal writing.

We start off underground, deep below the surface. Unbeknownst to those above, a metropolis filled with people of all kinds habituated itself here. The creator, a warlord by the name of Joker gave the rights to an underlying by the name of Cross. Gambit Cross. To enter this place is an extraordinary experience for most. You have to climb with your bare hands to the top of the Grove trees--without being caught the cameras hidden on the bark. At the top, hidden deep inside the branches and leaves is a guard. Tall, lean, and very strong. A code is required to be let through. Say that you do, you open a hidden latch and go down in an elevator inside the Grove tree. In this elevator, you will the receive the most thorough background check in human history. Lasers, scan your face immediately to discover who you are and what your occupation is. 2 guys come out of the tree like demons and jump you, searching for any hidden weapons that could be placed anywhere. And believe me, they will search everywhere. When you finally reach the bottom and are 600 feet underground, you will go through a hallway. An incredibly long hallway where the background check continued through cameras that are impossible to find. If you are cleared, someone will come to you and give a green pass. This pass is only good enough for that day so it cannot be reused another day. You open a door at the end of the hallway and in you enter the Underground Metropolis.

Sounds like a top secret government area huh? Well, it's the equivalent of such in the world of criminals. Yes, this is the Underworld. Every person that roams the streets and sidewalks is a criminal of some kind. Rapists, thieves, con-artists, pimps and traffickers of all kinds; and pirates. When you open the door to enter, you've have entered the deadzone. Nobody stays in the deadzone. This vast area of land that stretches for 40 acres is a booby trap. At the ends of the deadzone are tunnels with no signs for where to go. You have exactly 60 seconds to find the correct tunnel to where you are going. If you can't, a blast of seastone bullets will fill the entire space in every direction and kill you. No one person enters the same deadzone.

Each tunnel leads to a different area. The marketplace, housing area, town square(where the government buildings are), the dungeons, even parks and nightclubs. Oh, and I almost forgot, the plantations and mine fields. Yes, of course this place has slaves. Where do you think all the World Government and Celestial Dragons get their slaves from?

This is the Underworld of Sabaody Archipelago and it's not the only Underworld in the Grand Line.

One last measure of security. When you step out of the Underworld, your memory is wiped clean.

-Peterman and Friends-

The hard stomping of a running worker asserted itself into the halls of the Joker Institution. The most high government building in the Underworld.

The man stopped when he reached 3 men and walked equal side with them. All 3 men wore jet black suits with white vertical stripes to line them. Gray hats covered their heads and their dress boots did the same for their feet. The clean will dress pants they wore never wrinkled no matter what motion they were making. One of the men was shorter than the others, although still quite tall himself, he walked at the front. The only one with a cane to distinguish himself. The other two, were humongous creatures. Not human at all actually. One mink, and the other a fishman.

"Governor Cross! Reports of the slave ship came in just now. It has been sighted of the coast of the Grove and looks to be ready to deposit the slaves we've asked for."

The man with the cane, Governer Cross, a notorious criminal, having worked under joker for 30 years. A now retired pirate with a still active bounty of 450 million berri.

"Send 4 men up there to check out the slaves and their prices. Have one of them run back here to give me a report on each slave and their condition and if any are too expensive. Do that right now Peterman." When he spoke, he engrossed the attention of the everyone in the hall. He wasn't necessary loud or assertive, but he spoke with a quiet authority that made you shut up and listen. Listen well the first time cause he doesn't like to repeat himself.

"Yes, sir!"

The two novice thieves bumbled around with their bounty for quite some time, neither Amon nor Jarvis had ever been to the famed archipelago's slave auction house. Finally, at a peak in the two men's frustration Gochi's screams became nearly unbearable for the taller man, Amon.
"That's it!" The man erupted while delivering a swift kick into the defenseless fish-boy. "All your chattering is getting us lost!"

Twice more the man kicked at the blue pirate before aggressively blowing a huff of warm air out.
The dusty-skinned man looked at his accomplice. "Go ask around and find out where this damn auction house is." He grumbled. "I want to make our beri and leave."

Jarvis nodded and took off down a worn, man-made path towards the lower-numbered groves. Amon stood with Gochi in Grove 8.
Amon looked around for any signs of activity, however his line of sight was mysteriously devoid of the usual goings-on of the lawless area. Instead the man's gaze was brought to the large bubbles rising up into the sky and popping.

Gochi brought in the smells of the archipelago as best as he could through his soaked hat, but struggled due to the over-abundance of sea water filling the boy's olfactory senses. He listened to his captor mumble obscenities about their situation and his partner's speed; or lack thereof.
After what seemed to Gochi to be an eternity he felt himself being yanked upright and pulled along by Amon.

"I'm sick of waiting around and listening to you grumble to yourself." He said without picking up the irony of the statement. "You and me, fish, are gonna find that auction-house ourselves."

As the young fishman's hat grew drier his sense of smell grew as well, being able to pick up his surroundings more and more clearly. What the Brownbeard Pirates didn't know was that Gochi rarely used his eyes to get around anyways. He was beginning to "see" once more.

An incredibly familiar smile spread across the child's face; a smile filled with malice and dark intent. A smile simultaneously belonging to a joyful child and a blood-thirsty maniac. Beneath his hat, the Big Fish captain began gathering his senses and formulating the closest thing he could to a plan.
Amon pulled him along by the handcuffs while he stomped along looking for Jarvis...or anybody with directions for that matter.

The only means possible to head to the New World was by getting the ship coated. It had been 2 days the crewmen arrived, though they only heard on the second day they needed to get the coating. Link would be informed they needed 3 days to coat the ship, though they needed everyone on board the ship to leave the ship in their hands.

For the next 3 days, the group would spend time at the tourist hotspots from bars, restaurants, and hotels. Though they would regularly visit to have an eye on the ship and see the steady process and progress of the coating. The coater's name was Tony, which the group had paid off even with advanced payment. Tony had informed the ship will be docked and ready for voyage at Grove 40.

With the group coming back to see the ship and disembark the group would be wow'd at it was just a huge bubble, it looked like a Christmas snow globe. "So this what a coating is?"

"All of you get your asses onboard the ship" as Link turned around and bowed to Tony "Thanks for looking after our ship"

The Ship would then have bubbles erupt like a wave around the ship as it would look like its sinking as it made its way to the New World.

The edegs of Sabaody, most specifically grove 8's, were the most peaceful. Ships and their crews come and go plentifully but their wasn't much bustle of life around here. You'd have to go a bit farther inland, to the carnivals, and housing. The enormous roots of the even bigger trees kept the small mini islands afloat by the sinking all way to the bottom of the sea, digging into the ground. There was a particular shine on the grasses atop of the roots. The sun gave quite the ethereal glow to the landscape, similar to how a woman looks after putting on makeup. However, the glow on this peculiar looking person gave off a completely different vibe. Instead of revealing his beauty, it exposed his ugliness. Goddamn Peterman, why do you have to be so damn ugly?

Broad shoulders, big puffy chest, a capable archer who walks confidently and tall. All the qualities you'd just want in a man who leads others. But just Jesus Christ, that outfit with that stocky body and pale skin only make him look like a cheap rip-off of Robin Hood. He's kinda like that fake action figure your mom bought you for Christmas cause she was too cheap to buy you a real one.

"Burris, Gonzalos, and Yakob, make sure you exactly follow the orders the Governor gave. Drop in, check out the slaves and report back. Got it? I'll staying back here in case something goes wrong." Peterman chirped at the 4 men he was sending to view the "items". All 4 of them looked super young and lacked the fancy attire that those in authority wore. In fact, they dressed pretty close to rags. These mens were more boys, at the young of 20-22 and we're only new recruits into the underground system. This was their first mission.

Each men nodded at Peterman and gave only a weak "yes, sir" in reply. The rip-off Robin Hood frowned at their lack of confidence. "Hey, you four better start appearing like you wanna be here cause this is probably the easiest task you'll ever do in your criminal careers. If you ever wanna be up there at the top then you must act confident. Stop shaking like sissies and man up. This is only the beginning."

From the looks of it, Peterman's speech went through to their heads. Each of them immediately stopped shaking and stood up straight from their slacked positions. They looked Peterman right in the eye with fierce desire to succeed. Although they didn't reply back, a firm nod from all of them did just enough.

"Coating?" This query was raised by the boy with spiky black hair. He was sitting in a chair and at his feet Kotatsu's big body was curled up tight in a pleasant-looking nap. On the desk, a sea chart was spread before him as Kane continued his explanation.

"Yep, you cover the boat in a special natural resin. With that, you can travel underwater. It seems you can even dive all the way to the seafloor."

To get to the seafloor, they couldn't just continue sailing naturally as they had. Going to the seafloor required them to get the ship covered in the special product, the Coating, by a specialized craftsman.

Then Nero placed his hand on the map and with the minimum amount of attention, mumbled out. "Sabaody Archepeligo...?"

It was quite known questions, Kane answered seriously without showing signs of minding it. "Sabaody Archipelago isn't actually made of islands. Each 'island' is actually one of the world's largest mangrove trees, a Yarukiman Mangrove. And the Coating resin requires sap from the tree roots that make up the surface of the islands."

"Our goal is to get a skilled Coating craftsman. However, no matter how fast they are, it's going to take three days."

"So we'll be stuck here for three days…?"

"The realization has yet to sink in, I see." Said Prompto.

They saw Nero's eyes staring at the map, exposing a serious expression never seen before. He doesn't look at maps all to often, so to see him wearing a serious face at the map before him now was an unimaginable sight. Though to say that they were 'stuck here' and not 'staying here' was a Nero-like expression.

"So, is the food good?"

That was also a Nero-like worry.

"Well, they certainly don’t want to disappoint as an entrance to the New World it has great attractions. There should be plenty of restaurants with delicious food."

"Oh well, I guess it's fine." Being reminded of how seriously silly Nero was then, they laughed at how he quickly brightened up.

Shakky's Rip-off Bar

The Shakky's Rip-off Bar is a bar at Grove 13 of Sabaody Archipelago, and is run by Shakky herself.

It is infamous for its high prices (hence the name Rip-Off Bar), and Shakky's practice of beating up customers who refuse to pay. It is also where Silvers Rayleigh can be found, as he frequents the bar whenever he is not out doing other activities such as gambling and occasional ship coating.

The bar resides beneath a massive tree that sprung forth from the depths of the center of the sea. It has a spherical roof that holsters the logo of the bar. It has distinctive letterings of the trademark carved on the wooden frame. It is about 8 meters in height and around 50 square meters landscape.

The traditonal wooden door and scattered moss on the walls of the bar signifies the age of the age of place. It also alludes the simplicity and mediocrity of the owners.

It was 1200 noon and Shakky was wearing her usual pink, v-neck t-shirt that exposes her stomach with a black spider on it beneath a black jacket with pink lines running down the sleeves that has a collar with wing-like cuffs. However, this time, she was only wearing her lingerie as she was still drying her tight pants. She lit a cigarette and puffed it out upwards before flicking the tuft of her hair on the left side. "Rayleigh... Dear... Can u assist me with my pants? I-i-i can't seem to find one. Did you hide em from me so that you could see me like this, no? You're silly and naughty..", she said smiling while looking at the old man before winking at him.

"A-a-a I didn't. I didn't do that. Can't you recall I washed all of them last night. Honey, you tore two of yiur pants yesterday. We only have one left.", Rayleigh responded. He was raising his hands, palms facing Shakky as if he was very worried that she might punish him.

"Ok.... Can you put some clothes on. I don't want our customers seeing you in boxer's short only. It's ok if it's not sponge bob but here we are. Hahahaha!!!"

"Ooooops.. I almost forgot that. I just woke up like this."

"Well then.. Looks like we are having an early customer since it's noontime.. People nowadays prefer drinking at broad daylight.. Time really flies isn't it? Back in the days, we'"

Her words were interrupted when Rayleigh walked towards his room as a couple of knocks banged the door.

"Who might it be?! Hhhmm", Shakky wondered.. "Sam, is that you?" She reached for the door and when she opened it, Sam, an apprentice ship coater emerged in the sunlight.

"Is Rayleigh there? I may need some assistance in coating dozens of ship. Too many of them has to be finished today and the day after tomorrow. And the day-"

"Yes Sam. Don't worry. He'll be there in a few."

"Thank you Tita!"

The ship continued forward, steadily drawing closer to Sabaody Archipelago. They would soon be arriving at the goal on Kane's map, the marked place. From up on the deck, the view that was like the collapse of the heavens and earth could be seen on the horizon, from above a hill very far away.

Nero expressed his easily understandable thoughts, after which he mumbled while looking up: "Huge…" Towering before his eyes were trees even bigger than what he had imagined.

From the roots of those big trees came the special natural resin. The ingredient for Coating. It was inflated by the air of the root's breath. Becoming big bubbles dancing up into the air. Countless bubbles made like this danced above the island. The bubbles shined with rainbows as they reflected the sunlight. The sight was so fantastic that they were at a loss for words. In front of the city where bubbles danced, they could see a big Ferris Wheel.

Such a dreamlike sight would attract anyone's attention. This place was so good that it would overshadow the word 'beautiful' itself. The air moved restlessly and an apparition appeared. Nero's face that was originally slack suddenly showed a smile. His eyes opened wide and in it, you could see a lightning-like glimmer. In that instant, he seemed to turn into relax entirely. His expression was calm and peaceful as if he does not have anything to get worried about. He did not expect himself to go that far. Just the daily luck was good enough.

The Devil Pirates' ship was docked between the roots coming out of the sea's surface. To dock the ship, they searched for a place people shouldn't be able to spot. Sabaody Archipelago, of course, has properly maintained ports, but those weren't near here. That's because to get the ship Coated, at the very least they'd have to stay on the island for three days. At that time, if the Marines and bounty hunters and other bad professions' people spotted them, they wouldn't get that Coating.

Finding a shadowy place behind the trees, they quietly docked the ship. As they prepared to anchor the ship, Kane warned the crew, "It's not just the Marines and bounty hunters. The World Nobles kidnap people… There's a lot of troublesome things to get you. Until the Coating is done, please stay out of trouble." He looked especially at Nero. "Do you understand? Nero"

"I'm much more sensible than you may think. And a little contrary, too. And I'm definitely not daring enough to get myself involved in affairs that make no sense to me or that I can't agree to."

"...Now that's a funny remark."

His shoulders were firmly held, making Kane feel assured as he takes a breath. Kane turned to Miyagi. Seeing what he wanted to say, she gave him a bitter smile and nodded.

"I'll keep an eye on him. If he went on his own, he might get over-excited and cut down some World Nobles…"

"Thank you, Miyagi, sorry for always leaving you with the hard job."

Hearing Kane said that Nero sighed and frowned slightly. "Sheesh, what a troublesome crew."

-THE REWRITTEN SAGA-
MIA THE
PIRATE CAPTAIN?
PART ONE - JIMMY'S SECRET MISSION
Two nights ago somewhere on the seas of the Grand Line, it's a rare peaceful night of travel for the crew of the Blank Page with barely a wave and no unusual weather events. Mia Black is looking at the stars in the clear sky while leaning against the wooden railings designed to stop anybody from falling into the water below, she had recently recoloured her hair back to resemble her namesake while switching to a more comfortable shirt and skirt over black tight pants and boots with armour like pads attached to both of her forearms. She had recently broken her Crossbow during some target practice so now she has a couple of guns holstered on a purple belt worn around her waist over her clothing. It had only been a few hours since he had left and put her in charge of the Unwritten Pirates but she was already worried about Jimmy as she usually does about anything that may concern her father, however she found some comfort in the fact he had taken some of their top crew members with him but then realises that leaves herself in a tight spot.

She sighs, currently she only had a handful of the more weaker crew members along with only Tatsu and Harleen, the latter of which she barely trusted. It was her captain which encouraged this whole mess of a situation against Mia's judgement after their arrival with some apparent intel about Faysal, she believed it was too good to be true but Jimmy's mind was set and took off to follow the lead with Napier and a good portion of the crew. Luckily for Mia though, she had some trusted allies of her own and she'd be meeting with them very soon at their final destination on the way to the New World, the Saboady Archipelago!!

Amon looked about the fairly desolate Grove 8, aside from the large mangrove rising up from the center of the island. Small buildings huddled around the enormous trunk tightly but it was clear how much attention, or lack there of, Grove 8 received from the government.
To Amon, it seemed this entire section of Sabaody may very well have been a ghost town. With his hostage wearing on his last nerve, he tugged the boy violently along as he moved closer to the center of the grove.

Gochi smelled them before Amon saw the three thugs approaching; Amon was next to notice the group, mere moments later.
"Oh thank goodness~" The disgruntled man breathed out a sigh of relief. With Gochi growing on his kidnapper's last nerve, Amon pushed on to get this mission done and over with, he would just have to remember to collect Jarvis.

As the distance between Amon and Peterman's underlings dwindled, he began to give off a distinct scent for Gochi to pick up on. He hadn't been previously nervous of being attacked, but the reality of his situation was hitting him.
'I'm dragging along a fishman through the lawless area!' Amon's eyes widened as he continued marching forward. It was too late to turn around, he could already see the whites of the three men's eyes.

Sweaty fingers began to rattle and Gochi was noticing the change in atmosphere. The little blue monster was very accustomed to the smell of fear in humans.

"H-hey!" Amon shouted to the three lackeys once he seemed to be within about 20 yards or so. "Are you guys locals here?" He asked with a nervous laugh.
He attempted to hide the squirming creature behind his legs casually and despite the fact Gochi had been fairly discouraged from struggling, his stomach however began roaring.

Amon's false smile tightened as he tried to bluff his way past these obvious criminals with his noisy fishman bounty.
'Where the hell is Jarvis?' Amon wondered.

Before arriving at Shakky's place, Sam, a 28-year-old ship coater was rushing towards No. 13. He was wearing just a plain grey shirt, a blue knee-ripped jeans, a black sneakers, a wavy hair pulled back by a flowery pink ribbon.

He was completely soaked in sweat and was panting like 2000-meter finisher. He held his breath and halted in front of the door. Holding on to his knees and slightly bent over, he took another deep breath and rose to his height. He began banging the door twice and a moderate knocking sound resonated beyond the bar.

Sam is an apprentice of another seasoned ship coater by the name Rayleigh - a man in his senior years. A surprisingly muscular built, medium sized old man. Wearing a Grey hair, glasses, and has a distinguishing feature on his face - a scar on his right that passes through from his brow to underneath the eye.

Back in the present and inside the room, Shakky was talking to Sam and was discussing about the sudden rise of ships gathering in their place. He was too concerned that he wouldn't be able to finish coating the ships all by himself and be hurt by those pirates. "There's too many of them and on top if that, even the other shops are chasing their own tails in panic! I need my old teacher to assist me. That is if he is not busy? "

Shakky took a deep breath and puffed her cigarette. Unleashing the smoke upwards, she held her right hand around her waist and put her left elbow on it. "He is going to assist you if that's the case."

With that, the young coater gasped in relief and it seemed a thorn in his throat evaporated into the clouds. "Thank you!"

A little while after, the man reached out for his back pocket and shown a panorama of bounty list of the world's criminals. "Hey Shakky, take a look at this."

The woman moved closer to him and spotted some familiar faces. "Hmm.. Interesting.. I couldn't believe they grow too fast these days.. It's been a while since pirates created this kind of havoc across the seas and I am not surprised just how they aimed for it. The Pirate King's words still linger on their hearts and souls and those undying promise beyond that horizon will continuously live on forever.."

She paused briefly from talking and looked at a portrait of a ship afloat the sea on the wall. She was smiling and it's as if she was reminiscing something from a distant past.

"There's a man a group of pirates, Silver Hair and The Gambit who I attended to few weeks ago. They arrived here to have their ship coated. And look how Larsi manages to increase his bounty in just a few weeks.. And also The Gambit, he just suddenly emerged from somewhere and now has over 300M on his head. They killed Redfield!!!"

"?!" Shakky had her eyes wide opened in awe in conjunction with her mouth. A audible gasp could be heard instantly as she turned to Sam's face. "Patrick is dead?"

"That's what the news says. Not only that, there are some alarming news spreading across the seas about the military situation. A couple of seasoned marne officers just slid back from their posts and shifted to piracy! Shaarib, Frayza. Those are the names! Their bounties are quite high, too!! And above all, there's this certain rookie pirate that keeps on doing evil deeds! He just defeated some formidable opponents from island after an island.."

With an emotionless look on her face, the bar owner just stared at the pictures on the paper before she spoke. "Indeed, this is the worst generation ever....... And I wonder what else would happen in the days or weeks to come..."

Roger, this is the fruit of the seeds you sowed 20 years ago. Albeit, it's destiny's responsibility to determine who amongst them carries your will, she thought.

I scowled as I walked down the riverbank leading to groove 13, and Miyagi jumped out a couple of steps in front of me as if dancing to some rhythm and then turned around to face me, walking backward as she spoke.

"Where are we going?" I could hear a laugh coming from Miyagi's throat as she asked this question. A sharp squeaking sound could be heard with every step I took. Strong winds blew for a while. I resisted the wind and waited for it to die down.

"I have no idea? Kane said we can find coating craftsman in groove 13." My small voice was caught up in the wind, so Miyagi probably didn't manage to hear it. There was no reply. The Miyagi who was smiling in front of me was usual Miyagi. She was wearing a collared shirt and a skirt with a gentle color.

While I was looking at her, Miyagi's finally replies, "Wearing all black truly suits you, Nero."

She laughed. She was always in the mood for laughing. But it was true, except for the steel gray shirt I wore under my jacket, I was indeed clad all in black. "You seem to be in a good mood, Miyagi."

She covered her mouth with her hand as her shoulders started to shake. "Not really," She responded.

"Then what do you think of when you hear 'adventure'?"

"That's random. However, for me, it's definitely stuff like the sea, fireworks, festivals, and not to mention, the suspense!"

"You're even going to find gold?"

"Gold? Why?"

"When I say 'adventure,' I mean going on a journey, you know that, right?" She sighed melodramatically, shaking her head with the palms of both her hands facing up. It was probably a gesture to show her dismay, or perhaps even an action to signal annoyance.

"It's not just a journey. Come on, being free, adventure, you get it right?"

"So like waking up early to search for beetles."

"I got it Nero is a dummy."

"It's dumber to let love rule your head whenever your favorite subject arrives."

"So you do understand! Gah!"

Being stared down as sweat dripped down my face, I inadvertently looked away. I started to speak. "You always left out some part whenever we talk. I just wanted to give you a taste of your own medicine."

"You're terrible!"

"Yeah." We were in the greenery area, quite a distance away from our ship. Same as before, the two of us walked together. We made our way up the stairs that almost seemed like a road to heaven. Nevertheless, after passing by what seemed to be a lot of stairs, we arrived at a pub,

"'Shakky's rip off bar!'" While laughing, she continued, "It really sounds like they intend to rip you off at this place..."

At that very moment, I grabbed the doorknob and opened the pub's door. I cast my severe gaze left and right, then I spoke. "Sorry to intrude."
