Serapis is a fairly unique island, even compared to other islands in the Grand Line. On the island and the surrounding area it is perpetually night, although it is still fairly bright due to the moon that doesn't move in the sky high above the island. Ruled by Hades, one of the Olympians; Serapis is filled with powerful people and creatures. Adventuring on the island could lead to great riches and treasure, but who knows what lies in wait in the darkness. Another Olympian, Demeter has recently come to the island searching for someone or something.

After an extensive battle against Shiki, a legendary pirate of the old; Douglas Bullet, the Demon Heir; and a clash against Kaido, the strongest creature in the world, the prince of Hiraya Landayan Morrow devoted himself to becoming one of the greatest, if not the greatest of all. Thereon, he rebuilt his military forces from around the globe and equipped their armada with the strongest: Rebels of the Alabasta Kingdom, Fighters of Kenzan Island, Level 6 Impel Down Fugitives, Elite Assassins from Poker Island, Super Athletes from the Underground World, Mightiest Knights from Camelot, a Science Genius from Shiki's crew, The Germa Kingdom, and the Prince of Atlantia himself.

With this newfound glory, the crew formed an unparalleled line of warfare capable of opposing the world government to turn it upside down. He would traverse the oceans in search of a Soviet Union of Vampirates Empire. The Worst Generation filing behind him, all of the seas rejoiced together with his victors!

PRESENT DAY
Still aboard the Germa Fleet, Gambit and Judge are discussing their plans to extend their riches and power inside the hall of commanders. Once a single throne resting in the hall, two seats are now present at the pedestal - one for Judge, the other for the emperor. A round table is set across the two seats just a couple of meters away. On the table, blueprints of Germa Technology and Gambit Warfare are laid. Two brilliant scientists share dreams, knowledge, and wisdom. Other passengers present at the event are the Vinsmoke Royalties and the Silver Vampirates Commanders with the exceptions of Reiju and Manaka, two princesses from the two kingdoms acting as muses and sitting across the two leaders.

"This lineage factor...", Gambit spoke as he puffed a cigar which he held in his left hand. His right elbow is resting on the armrest of his throne, His back comfortably lying on its backrest, legs crossed. He still has bandages and patches all over his body after fighting the best in the brawl, Bullet.

"This is the discovery of the century, Judge. And I am more than thankful to finally witness such a creation. These soldiers of yours are definitely an extravagant addition to our force. A significant one. And your raid suits, they're magnificent!", he continued before puffing again.

"I have been thinking of altering the material that conceals the raid suits from a canister to something else that fits the user. I will personally prefer a simple claw gauntlet for myself. I don't want it to appear as modern as your offspring's suits. I wanted it Gothic, Medieval, and Olympian."

"We can certainly fashion that one for you Prince Landayan."
, Judge offered as he mimic Gambit's pose in his chair less the cigar.

"I prefer being called just Gambit, we talked about this Judge. But apparently, now that I saw the formula, I will do it myself."

Gambit stood up, excusing himself. "Pardon my ignorance but I have to breathe fresh air."

He walked outside underneath the afternoon sky and headed to the huge deck of the Germa Fleet where he could see the rest of his crew polishing the destroyed ships. They were waiving at him which he acknowledged by nodding. He was deep in thought. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew past him as he stared at the horizon, making his hair and coat flutter backwards. A moment later, Diosa 18, one of the main guardians and shipwrights of the fleet would radio him via denden mushi.

Diosa 18: "Captain! Captain! Do you cop-"
Gambit: "Go"
Diosa 18: "A boat is sailing towards the fleet. There is only a single man aboard robed in black."
Gambit: "Does he wear a crest of a Squared Circle on his right chest?"
Diosa 18: "??!"
Gambit: "Get him aboard the Dark Fortress ship. I will meet him there."

Gambit's Note: The Squared Circle: an Alchemical Symbol (17th century) illustrates the interplay of the four elements of matter symbolizing the philosopher's stone. It is also the symbol of the House of Forge, the house of the Royal Blacksmiths, and one of the four kingdoms in Hiraya.

More moments have passed, and Gambit is now sitting on his chair situated on the forecastle of the ship's deck. He was still holding the same cigarette in between his right index and middle fingers. He then took a final puff before grinding it on the ashtray placed on the armrest of the chair. The man arrived before him. He kneeled, bowing his head as he held onto his own forge hammer. "My Lord. It's been ages."

"Ibrahim, son of my old teacher, the 12th Royal Blacksmith Aragorn of the Mighty Forge. What brought you here my friend?"
, Gambit asked, posing quite differently from the way he spoke with Judge. He now leans his arms onto his knees as he crouched a little bit, gesturing to his close relationship with the man.

"It is about your father, King Sapiro."

A cold breeze blew past the entire vessel as the clouds turned dark as the sky gloomed. Gambit's pupils narrowed and seemed to flee from the expanding whites of his eyes. But all this shock was but brief. He regained his composure. He rolled his right fingers into angry knuckles. He exhaled deeply before resting his back on the chair, looking up at the sky. He drew another cigar, lighting it automatically as it rests in his mouth without an ignitor. He puffed for several seconds before exhaling the smoke. And as it quickly dispersed into the air, Ibrahim gave him a moment.

"He wanted you to have this.", he said as he offered a scrolled brown parchment to the prince without changing his stance. Gambit would reach for it and would thank the man who travelled the seas to find him. It would not take long before he left the Dark Fortress vessel off his own boat and back to the Hiraya Kingdom. Gambit would stare at Ibrahim's boat sail until it vanished behind the mist.

"My son,

I am old. I know that this day would come.
I want to tell you everything but I wouldn't burden your hatred if I did.
Forgive me. But know that, I have always loved you.
You're the only son I had.

Seek Hades."

“SHE KILLED HEPHAESTUS BROTHER! Are you not going to do anything about it!? Your toy has turn against us! We need to get rid of her before she destroys us!”

Ever since the resurgence of La Spada whom struck a deal with Hades, it has been the talk of the town for the Olympians. Chaos, death, destruction follows the wake of the Grim Reaper. But with the death of Hephaestus, a fellow Olympian from Lemnos when La Spada attacked – the state of all Olympians became tensed, some fearing that La Spada would come for them next. But the truth is the the opening of Pandora’s Box have changed the Olympians forever, before they would even notice it. Hephaestus from Lemnos is just the start, the age of the Olympians is all but soon to be over – if not by La Spada then by someone else. The anachronism of these Gods will be their downfall, and beyond them – an era of new ‘Gods’ will take over the Olympians.

The meeting between the Olympians are different, they could not expect Hades’ toy would turn against them like that. Yet the man in the shadow would only listen – nothing is said by the man, Hades the Olympian whom struck the deal with La Spada. Deep in thoughts the situation could be seen as precarious, he cannot control her but is it truly that Hades did not know or he planned for this? The communication is cut short between him and presumably another Olympian. Walking back to his throne, a three-headed dog rests by the stairs – massive in size as Hades sat upon the empty room.

A back up plan. Hades thought. While La Spada is an unpredictable force that he cannot control, he simply need to turn the wheels that La Spada is riding on. He needed another person. Someone that Hades can manipulate into taking out La Spada before she would take the souls of every Olympian. Yet the Olympian did not know that this plan would come into effect sooner than he would think.

Gambit would leave his entourage of crew as they return to the Hiraya Kingdom. He would brave the New World on his ship, presumably with the crew waiting upon his return from the Dark Fortress. As his ally vanished into the mist off the horizon, if Gambit were to follow the contents of the letter – to seek the God of the Underworld, Hades. Then the only place they would need to head to is the mysterious island known as Serapis. A place perpetually in the night due to its unique geological area. But before they could head to Serapis, they must first go through a slightly different line near the Red Line itself and between the New World and North Blue, encompassing Serapis alongside several island that creates this unique state of perpetual night, the Chthonic Line.

Once Gambit embarks upon to where the Chthonic Line is said to be, he would eventually find himself and the crew approaching the Red Line, through the mythical Chthonic Line coordinates, they would find a small hole with water flowing downwards. Like the reverse mountain which should Gambit and his crew take would ultimately lead them to their destination. Water gushes downwards like a waterfall, leading them further deep into the Red Line, but like a water ride the ship goes through a series of incredible up and down, before they would climb the caverns back to the top once more. And once they do, they would find themselves in the bright and starry night, a complete opposite of the daylight they should expect just before entering the hole. Around them are high mountainous area encompassing them, the sky is only illuminated upon by the sole emanating object, a moon which casted down its light that would otherwise be of total darkness. Several islands can be seen, but only one of which – built with large buildings of the Victorian-era is Serapis.

Gambit escorted his old friend, Ibrahim with just his eyes as his boat sailed away back to Hiraya. Immediately, he gathered his commanders, Judge included conveying a message. He sat on his seat on the Dark Fortress.

"My beloved comrades...", he said in his normal baritone voice. He spoke peacefully, solemnly. "Most of you know that I was raised a prince back in Hiraya, a kingdom in North Blue. And albeit my heritage is of a royal family, I was orphaned by their king of kings. And now, my king would traverse the river of Styx to join the kings before him. And above all, his own cousin - my biological father also known as the 13th Royal Blacksmith."

He rose to his full length, addressing thousands of Silver Vampirates aboard ten massive vessels, all armed with destructive weapons. Suddenly, as he spoke, the tides began to go wild, waves would dance with the strong winds that blew past them. Thunderclouds crackled above, everywhere is gloomy. A divine presence of sorrow and mourning in one eventful afternoon.

"I shall seek not only the wisdom I long longed for. Forgiveness.", he continued clenching his fist like angry knuckles. "On this journey, I shall triumph."

A series of lightning followed as he recited that prose. Gambit's face beamed on and off, going along with the rendered light from above. And then a deafening roll of thunders came shortly. He turned to Judge.

"Judge, the project we spoke of.", Judge would nod in acknowledgment.

"Prince Namor.", Gambit said.

"I know.", Namor responded. Their minds intertwined with one another. The message was received. And with that, the prince of Atlantia took his own vessel, the 2nd ship to head somewhere mysterious.

"Manaka.", he turned to her second cousin, the chief cyborg/shipwright of the crew and she would respond just like Namor.

After that, Manaka called the lady cyborgs to join hands with her as they do business, "Ladies, let's get to work. We have 10 ships to upgrade."

He would turn to KG, Koza, Aramis, and the rest of the Ensemble of Dark Horses of his crew. They would exchange glances, communicating with their minds and companionships. And finally, an invitation arrived. "T-Bag. Reynolds."

"Aight"
, the both of them said before quickly packing their things and boarding the Dark Fortress leaving their own ships - 1st and 6th ships respectively. Trailing them are a number of pirates to assist with the sailing.

Two days later
"Pretty!", T-Bag yelled as he manned the helm. It was literally noon 1 hour ago but none of those are apparent when they entered the territorial waters of the island they sought, Serapis. It was but night. Infinite they say. There, gothic dwellings of countless lords would emerge before their very eyes. Towering. Maleficent!

Then Gambit took a glimpse from his room as soon as he heard T-Bag's voice, raising the crimson silk curtain of the door. Reynolds, manning the outpost would look at him as he scoped the entire location through his advanced glasses linked to his barrel, the Magnum Deadpool 69. "We arrived."

"No... He has been waiting."
, Gambit responded. "Dock to the northeast. And point the bow to the highest castle of this terrain. . The one that boasts the heaven, it's where he lies.", he progressed with his usual demeanor and received inflection, rasping and soulful. But it should be noted how he stressed the man who they came there for.

The Silver Vampirates arrived in Serapis through the use of the Chthonic Line and now find themselves essentially in the Underworld, where Hades resides. The ship would dock towards the northeast of Serapis, a little out of the way of the docks however. But regardless they would not find any issues, as not even guards seem to be around Serapis from where they are. The city is quiet, too quiet. In the highest building, towering above all other buildings were used by the Silver Vampirates to point the bow towards, perhaps as a signal of sorts. Gambit of the Silver Vampirates would order as such, assuming that the castle he sought is to be where Hades reside. Fortunately for Gambit his assumption is correct for if it was not the castle that he confidently wishes it to be, it would be embarrassing for his monologue.

The appearance of the Silver Vampirates in Serapis did not go unnoticed however, as from the horizon the ship has been well noted by the soldiers guarding Serapis. Entering Serapis is a feat by itself, no one would willingly be going into the Underworld without a death wish of sorts thus anything heading towards Serapis would be quickly be made known to Hades. With their presence known, Hades looked out from a window as he watched the incoming ship. The Olympian would smile deviously, alone in the dark as he notices the jolly roger of the pirate ship. While he has long expected this to happen, he did not expect his pawn to arrive at this point of time. The Olympian may be called a God but he is no omniscient. His mind preoccupied with dealing with La Spada’s work since Lemnos have made him forgot of the other piece in the chessboard, up till now at least.

“It seems I have found my solution. Fufufu…. Guess I could do that and see where it goes…”

Hades calmly spoke as the three-headed dog woke up and walked towards Hades, prompting the Olympian to caress his pet as he continues to look at the approaching ship for another few moments before walking away as the ship would finally be close enough to Serapis to dock. The Olympian have thought of something it seems, the fact that Gambit has arrive may have thrown a wrench in his original plans for the Prince of Hiraya Kingdom, but now a new plan has been hatched – to the Olympian, Gambit has become a solution for the problem with La Spada, he only need to manipulate him just like he has done so for the prince’s entire life. A new toy, a new pawn to manipulate – but this time he won’t lose control of his pawn. The Olympian would laugh hysterically alone, walking out of the throne room alongside with Cerberus.

Back at the ship, should any of the Silver Vampirate disembark on foot, the very first thing they would notice is the sudden change in atmosphere, a deathly chilling and uncomfortable aura would be immediately felt, as if stumbled upon something supernatural. If they were to look forward towards Serapis, they are people sure enough but they don’t feel human. An incredible strange atmosphere of Serapis, most of these people if not all of them don’t seem deterred by the arrival of Silver Vampirates. But before long, a shroud of mist would manifest in front of the docked ship, Hades have arrived – perhaps the most shocking turn of events in Serapis so far. Hades would smile maniacally, his voice and tone focused upon only one man in a supercilious attitude.

“Fufufufu! Seems like you have arrived…. My child of darkness..!”

Spoken in an arrogant tone, it is clear that Hades have something in mind, even going as far as calling Gambit his child despite not being related, but the use of this specific word likely harken back to his manipulation of Gambit's life.

The Dark Fortress finally reached Serapis or should we speak, the Underworld, realm of Hades. T-Bag would instruct his crew to sink the anchor to the sea bed in which they would quickly follow. However, they would for the first time be in total disbelief at what they discovered.

"Commander T-bag! We can feel the sea bed. This shit is endless.", said one of the crew.

"What do you mean, you dipshit?", T-Bag asked, snatching the chains of the anchor from the other. He would test the depths of the water himself. "Shit! It's true. Pretty!", he called to Gambit.

"If there's nothing to touch, then settle for what is in front of us.", he responded, looking at the port where a number of vertical formations of rocks were everywhere. The chains could be wrapped around those. T-Bag would then shoot a number of anchor chains at those rocks in order to dock properly. Before long, the Silver Vampirates would disembark their vessel, carrying only what's essential to their journey - weapons, vices, and guts.

Gambit floated slowly off the deck and gently set feet first on the Serapis soil, feeling the surroundings as he looked around. Quickly, he would feel unpleasant vibes. He didn't need to use his Echolocation. Just the mere setting of the place gave chills to his bones. T-Bag and Reynolds would go next, jumping off the deck simultaneously.

Both: "Holy shit! What was that?"
Gambit: "Just now, you set your feet on the house of the lord of the underworld."

Ten seconds would pass, Gambit would feel a much more wicked display of presence. Darker if not the darkest.

"Speaking of the lord."

And just as soon as he said that, a shroud of mist emerged before their very eyes, dramatic, ominous, and yet - divine. He was Hades. And an astonishing statement would be rolled by his tongue at the prince. These words were enough for the two commanders Gambit brought with him to synchronically turn and stare at each other, their eyes widening as their jaws dropped.

"I am not your child.", the prince replied, his tone a little bit more gutturally growling, signifying annoyance. "I had only known one father and he sent me here."

Gambit would stare at Hades for a moment, sizing each other. A much more chilling breeze began to surround the area. This made their long hairs flutter with the wind and so were their elegant attires.

"Why?"

The appearance of Hades surprised several of Gambit’s commanders, but Gambit seems to be less surprised by his appearance – perhaps much calmer towards Hades than the others, whether it is more of a façade that Gambit puts forth or not remains to be a question. The prince would quickly retort as his tone shows reveals his feelings and emotions, perhaps not the best impression for the manipulative Olympian. Of course, Hades is aware that he is no father to Gambit, but he wasn’t talking in the literal sense after all. Gambit’s life has been manipulated as per Hades’s plans since his birth, for what reasons seems to be unknown, but the Olympian have no desire to reveal his cards, given how Gambit replied it seems that the prince is much easier to manipulate emotionally rather than anything else. For now, he needs to see how Gambit can be broken then remade. His intentions need not be laid bare to the child, yet.

“Ah, yes. Sapiro. Yet he is no father of yours, but by now even you would know that. But neither is Kalakab, you think every facet of your life is your doing? Did you think that Kalakab led a coup against Sapiro out of his greed? Did you think the death of that pathetic general’s son is a simply unfortunate? Or perhaps did you think that the fool led you to discover your Tiefling heritage that even your ‘father’ hid it from you was a sudden revelation in your destiny?”

“Or perhaps did you think that it is fate that you met the fool whom lost his family to Patrick Redfield?”

His words struck hard, perhaps to Gambit and T-Bag as his words carries provocation, taunting them with the past – the past that Hades should not be aware of yet does. Is he omniscient? Or is Hades an instigator? Hades have no intention of answering Gambit’s cryptic question, for he have no reason to answer to someone he considers a pawn. Hades would start to laugh maniacally, the people behind him – walking around the town seems to be well ignorant of what is happening as if such things are normal in Serapis.

“No Landayan, from the very start even before your birth – you have been but a pawn in the chessboard! Why you say? Why don’t you walk to Styx and ask Kalakab! Fufufufufu HAHAHAHA.”

Hades continues to taunt Gambit, and only Gambit – it is well understood that even someone considerably involved in Hades’s scheme like T-Bag is essentially regarded as non-existent to the Olympian. Perhaps no longer worth to be a pawn in his games. Of course, whether Gambit himself chose to believe in Hades's words is up to his faith in himself and his family, but the provocations and the fact that Hades knew of his history to such a detail is not one to be taken lightly. How will Gambit react to Hades's seemly maniac episode? Will he stand to be a pawn in Hades's games or reach the other side of the chessboard as a king?

OOC: Alright, the T-Bag history and the whole father seeking things out has a small plot hole >_>. I can't really connect them as they looked to be completely independent and T-Bag's history doesn't seem useful/relevant in general. So if there's a disconnect you probably want to narrate that out to fill the gaps. Because the only according to plan Hades can say is him manipulating Patrick to be killed by you.

The moment Hades emerged from the darkness, he revealed history after history or perhaps mystery after mystery. He started with the recently deceased King Sapiro followed by the unveiling of his true heritage. All these information had been learned by the prince before he left the kingdom. It was no mystery but it seemed that Hades had been aware of such mysterious intervention he is yet to unfold.

Gambit rolled his fingers into angry cannonballs. Claws lent by demon sprung forth as he did. So tight, blood would drip from his palm and would fall down to soil of the Underworld. He would almost snarl, it was evident on his bare teeth. But for long, his eyes would succumb to the shade of his own blood when the god divulged the event of T-Bag and Redfield.

"What fo you mean?!", his voice solemnly growling in line with hellish aura.

T-Bag and Reynolds wouldn't believe what they heard. They wouldn't at least for now. But at the back of the former's head was his family. It didn't make sense. For Gambit, yes it did.

"Answer me?! There's no way you had been in the shadows of my fate. Long before, my people would believe in 4 deities: the lord of all creations, the ruler of heavens, the lord of the earth, and the lord of the afterlife. We always believed that the lord of the Underworld was the most reasonable and benevolent of all. The way you reason with me states otherwise."

The revelation of Landayan’s history by Hades have affected the former, it wasn’t so much that he knew but to the prince, it seems that he is convinced that Hades have been conniving and plotted the entire story of Landayan since birth. Like a puppet dancing by the palm of his hand. Landayan chose to believe in Hades words for the time being, his faith into his own religion has started to crumble apart a little. His impression of what Hades should have been shattered. Hades would only laugh further as he hears the words coming out of Landayan’s mouth, almost immediately destroying what little impression and perhaps even hope of Landayan and his people’s belief of the Olympian.

“Benevolence? What a joke. Perhaps once I was the benevolent God to your people. Which is why people are so easily fooled, manipulated! But kid yourself not, you are nothing special..! Nothing but a toy!”

Provocations continued, Hades knew his words are emotionally affecting Landayan to a certain degree. And soon his words would likely break whatever the prince thought he believe to be. Or so he hoped. But Hades words is taken apart would have a different meaning, but said meaning would be difficult to understand. The Olympian could feel the seething anger of the prince, his voice flared after all.

“However… since I’m your God… Perhaps you would bow before your mighty God? Fufufufufufu!!!”

This time, his words now purposefully targeted upon Landayan’s beliefs accompanied a tone of sarcastic taunt. The Olympian is enjoying the situation devolving as he watched the reactions of the prince. It is hard to say what are Hades intentions even for Landayan, as if a mad God came before them and rambles upon them. Right now, whether the prince like it or not, Hades have no intention of answering his questions. If he wishes to find answers, it is likely he has to get it elsewhere.

The prince still couldn't believe all the blasphemy Hades are stating. It would finally make perfect sense. And as he spoke, Landayan would have a flurry of flashbacks inside his head. He was looking at the ground. His eyes moved side to side, trying to connect all the dots. He was guilty. He was the reason behind everything. Everyone was his pawn. Gambit alone figured as well that he has been at the center of everybody's fate.

The revolution of his biological father. The death of his mother. King Sapiro killing his own cousin. The general's son being killed by the beasts that protected him. Him being lost in the fortress of those beasts. The general being consumed by hatred and turning the evil that almost destroyed the kingdom. And him meeting T-Bag and became the best of friends only to find out that it might have been Hades himself who lured Redfield to kill his family.

At the very moment the ruler of the underworld mocked and ordered him to kneel, he would inadvertently do so as his emotions shattered all at once. He was down and lost his arrogance, for Hades is still the same god that their kingdom worships. But the same would not offer any answer for the fooled prince.

"What do you want from me?", is all he could ask. Hades may not again intend to answer this.

He then looked up, now staring at the god. "My Lord..."

Gambit was desperate. He needs an answer and a resolve.

The prince became seemly broken, apparent from his sudden change in tone and how the prince merely kneels in front of the God of Underworld. The prince has become what the Olympian hoped for, but all the prince could see is the sudden change in Hades’ expression. Hades no longer laughed, instead his face was one of seriousness – in fact accompanied with his serious expression is a seemly deep piercing gaze as if Hades stared right into Gambit’s soul. He is disgusted at the sight of Gambit, his expression while did not seem to tell much, the prince could feel that something is off. Disappointment fills the Olympian impression of the prince as Hades finally completely faced down, a smirk could barely be seen.

“Hm. How about if you kill those behind you, then I will give you whatever answers you want? Fufufu….”

A tone of partial sarcasm, but carries a hint of seriousness when one would grasp from Hades’ tone. The Olympian saw how apparent broken the prince has, yet pushes to see how desperate the prince is willing to go. For Hades it is not possible to fake death considering he would know if the person is dead or alive, thus is Gambit took upon the ‘deal’ which Hades offered he would have to seriously kill both T-Bag and Reynolds, as well as whoever is in the ship. Yet such considerations aren’t one to take too seriously, what if Hades is merely toying with Gambit and has no intention to give any answers? Just like what they should have assumed considering the interactions, all of these could merely be a ploy to destroy Gambit emotionally, and completely.

Hades wouldn’t move regardless, his hand held onto his weapon but lightly, fidgeting around his fingers as he would watch to see how the prince would act. Hades is definitely plotting something intricate, he is attempting to evoke a certain response from the Prince, that much is very well certain – and might have been more clearly understood if Gambit was more clear in his head to do so. His allies however may get such feelings but considering they have not act upon Gambit’s action of kneeling down they might not fully understand what is going on.

It wasn't a mystery that the prince fell on his knees after everything he learned from Hades himself. But he never intended to bow before this God. But that wasn't the action Gambit spoke for he was desperate to learn even more. What lied behind his manipulation is still a book he is yet to break open. Hades would offer a solution for his thirst for knowledge. The lives of the commanders at his back as well as the ensemble of dark horses aboard the Dark Fortress.

Gambit's pupils seemed to separate from his own eyes after hearing those. But that notion would change the tides of the Styx for the evil that resides within the child of darkness has finally awakened. Hades wanted a game called a puzzle. Landayan was godly intelligent to turn it upside down.

"Is that what you want, my Lord?", Gambit asked still bowing his head, kneeling.

After that, the prince would transform his hands into claws of evil. His fangs started to emerge like he is about to devour anyone that passes his vision. Wings sprang forth his back, jet black they are and his eyes turned crimson, signifying bloodlust like nobody else. He reached for his forge hammer and he would slowly rise to his full length.

"Fine, if that's the only path for this truce. I shall give you their lives."

Gambit turned his back on Hades to face both Reynolds and T-Bag. He was holding his hammer firmly and staring at them fiercely.

"Hey! Hey! Hey!", Reynolds said raising up his hands.

T-Bag remained standing, not even flinching.

Then suddenly, Gambit raised his right arm, holding the hammer before swinging it as he spun back at Hades' location. He was aiming for his head. "Or not!"

Gambit would seem to follow Hades’ instruction to the tee but perhaps too much pushing has finally broken the prince’s act. As Gambit would continue to kneel and bow to the God, commenting upon the God’s desire to have him kill his own allies. His transformation into his Devil Fruit form would reveal a vampire-like being as he grab his hammer before raising it up high. Before he would do so, following the Olympian’s order, the prince immediately turns around and swung his hammer towards Hades’ head. It was within seconds, there is no reaction from the Olympian.

With just a simple swing, the hammer smashed the head of the Olympian without any form of resistance, and in fact the head flew off from the Olympian’s body. The Olympian is dead. Or so it would seem. Few seconds upon the swing from the hammer, as the head detaches from the body and fell to the ground – the unchanging, straight facial expression of the decapitated head of the Olympian would suddenly change, his facial expression reverts to the same manic expression accompanied with laughter, as if expecting something like this to happen.

“Seems like you are not just a fool then! HAHAHAHAHAHA! I will see you soon... Landayan!”

The body of the Olympian started to dissipated into a purple mist, as so his head would follow suit – the weapon would dissipate into a golden dust, mixed with the mist before completely evaporating. Before long, the Olympian simply disappeared right before their eyes. Was the Olympian an illusion? A unique power that allows him to project himself out like this? The mystery of Hades remains to be seen. But for now, their obstacle has cleared – the pirates are free to enter Serapis as they wish. Should they walked to the small archway in front of them that leads to the town, a cryptic sentence could be seen on the keystone.

Κατθανών δε πας ανήρ γη και σκιά, το μηδέν εις ουδέν ρέπει’

In death all men are earth and shadow, naught come to naught. The translation of its sentence – that if anyone from Gambit’s crew is capable of understanding the language it has spoken. Regardless of the case, the situation in Serapis is unique – the island itself is unique, who knows what effects would come to pass for anyone not an inhabitant of the Underworld that enters Serapis. But should they enter Serapis, the very instant they would cross the archway, or in any other way – they would find the town suddenly a little livelier than what they could perceive from the outside. There is quite a fair bit of people walking around the city, doing what seems to be part of the mundane life. The people seems ignorant of what happened outside the archway as life seems to continue per normal, as if separated from reality.

Here Gambit and his entourage could see several large buildings, with the tallest one the castle where Hades should reside. However, there are also several points of interest, a singular long tower just near the castle, only partially connected by a long bridge. On the right side of the town lies a large mansion, towering over every other houses bar the castle.

Seemingly following Hades' order to end his commanders' lives, Gambit changed route. He, at last, finally broke out his ineptitude to see things. But he was unable to foresee things as he should have. Perhaps, the sudden burst of emotion was yet again a prime factor of the next event. When the head of the hammer rammed the Lord's head, the prince seemed to have struck a plethora of cotton. He hit hard, he hit nothing. And so it transpired right before their very eyes. When the Olympian's head disintegrated from his body, it would soon vanish like a mist.

T-Bag's and Reynolds' eyes protruded when they saw it. But do they possess any minuscule liberty to be appalled with such revelation? Both of them have been witnesses to what Gambit is capable of. Or they do indeed. For what they saw is not a mere display of magic or illusion. After all, their feet are set in the Underworld.

Gambit further rolled his fists into mad knuckles, dismayed at what occurred. He was again tricked. Had he capitalized on his ability to see the future through his Color of Observation, he would not be so foolish like he is now. But that lied in the past. He had to progress to the future and get all the answers he is seeking for.

"Damn you, Hades...", he said, before the apparition totally disappeared. "I will find you..."

A gust of wind again blew past the three. When it settled, T-Bag asked Gambit. "Were you really intending to strike us earlier?"

The captain commander would place a cigar on his mouth and would light it up without any ignitor. He responded, "I couldn't be certain of that."

He turned to them, "But one thing is certain, I will kill a God... Let's get going..."

With that, the three advanced, marching to the arc meters away from the shore. As they walked, the ambiance would begin to change. And then suddenly, familiar encryption would welcome their arrival. "What in the world was that? Reynolds asked, lively. His voice echoed in the silence.

"In death all men are earth and shadow, naught come to naught."

"How do you know such language?"
, Reynolds asked again.

"We worshipped Hades and all of his doings. It's only prudent to know how he reasons."

After that, they continued. Passing through the arc, the atmosphere changed around two notches livelier than what they initially noted. And although perpetually dark, the surrounding was adorned with Gothic lightings, luminescent. On their way, several large buildings blatantly boast their appearance but notwithstanding its enthralling physique, the mansions that lie beside the tallest one seemed like their next destination for you have to go there to get to where the answers are. And should they encounter something else on their journey, the men are bold and ready.

"Serapis... Such a chilling place to warm up...", the prince passed a notion.

The three men would enter Serapis, with the atmosphere immediately changed from the onset. As if separated from reality, the denizens of Serapis would ignore whatever that happened moments before and continue their mundane life, perhaps this is truly the afterlife? Or is all of this an illusion? Considering what happened with Hades this may not be too surprising for the trio. Upon surveying the town, the trio decided to instead go for the mansion located on the right side of the town. The trio would find no issues with the townspeople, only that weird and eerie stares could be felt throughout their journey eastwards. The temperature of the air, the town feels chilling to say the least, unsettling – but the trio would find nothing else happening in the night.

Soon, they would find themselves near the mansion, located some little ways off the town itself – but the mansion is decrepit, surrounded by fences located throughout, bent, damaged but metal. The trees are slightly dead, with leaves slowly falling upon from the tree branch. In front of them is a gate, but in front of the gate – a figure kneeled. A wind would breeze past the figure, and towards the trio, a flowery scent. The figure remained kneeled, though when approach – the trio is able to notice the pale white skin, smooth and youthful. A feminine figure. Should the trio call upon the figure out, or in any way try to look at the figure’s face, whilst unknown to most, but should Gambit knew of all of the Olympians, he might recognize the Goddess, Demeter.

“Thanatos…. Please heed my call..!”

Gambit, T-Bag, and Reynolds recommenced their journey within Serapis through the divine and unholy ambiance that sprang forth their way. Citizens of the Underworld would not flinch in their arrival, needless to say, care less of what has been transpiring. T-Bag would comment on that, "What is wrong with these people staring at us quite uncanny?"

"It actually gives me chills", Reynolds added.

"You both can still go back", Gambit said.

"C'mon Pretty, I know you got yer hair stands on end."

"Shut up, Tee. Never happening."
, Gambit continued as he overtook the two. Now at the frontline smoking, Reynolds would sneak from his behind and would swiftly scare him, gently pushing his two shoulders, while yelling "Waaaaargh!"

Gambit flinched his shoulders, signifying his commander got him good. He thought, Damn I should have seen that coming.

Not giving a single damn, he went on, nearing the mansion. Old metal fences would welcome them in their arrival. Trees are half-dead and real dark presence in its surrounding. And as they paused briefly, a figure was seen a few meters on their way. When a cool breeze blew past them, the trio would have a clearer vision of what's waiting for them.

"Oh that sweet!", T-Bag said, licking his tongue. "Never had tasted such smell in my life before. Not even my dead wife."

She was kneeling but all is clear. A gentle white skin, dressed in a fair color of silk with a wreathe of flowers and laurel just slightly above her right temple. If this is not a princess then she is none other than.

"Have you ever heard the tales of the Goddess of Meadow?"

T-Bag & Reynolds: "???!!!"

"That woman is-"
, he said before Demeter summoned someone as she knelt before their very eyes.

Demeter knelt upon the decrepit mansion, attempting to call someone named Thanatos – only that no one appeared, yet Demeter continues to repeat the words once in a while, praying quietly on the mansion as she continues to clasp her hands. Gambit would find that she did not seem to be aware of the trio appearance so far. But it is also likely that she does, but pays no heed to them. The chilling wind would freeze the very soul of the trio, as if a cold brush with death yet nothing happens, all that stood before them is a decrepit mansion and Demeter. The mansion creates a dreadful vibe, but one may conclude that the mansion belongs to Thanatos, after all Demeter prayed for him in front of a mansion.

What should the trio do? Interrupt the Goddess? Or to explore the mansion? Should they attempt to enter the mansion, they would find the gates of the mansion moved on its own very slowly, a creaking sound would follow suit. Allowing them entry into the mansion’s yard at the very least. In front of them stood the door. But should they interrupt Demeter in any circumstances, she would stop her prayers and looked up to them, in a distressing facial expression.

“Y-You… don’t looks like you belong here.”

The trio is still facing the woman at the gate, at least a few meters away from where she kneels. She was summoning someone, a certain one in the name of Thanatos. At this point, the chill of the underworld continued to stem from the mansion and to the Goddess of Spring and through the Vampirates. Hairs on the commanders' body keep on standing. Gambit felt uneasy. He knew what they are about to face.

"Shit got real.", T-Bag commented on the situation.

"You could say that.", Gambit replied.

The gate opens. It was the sign. It screeches. Adding an ominous melody to the already dark orchestra resonating across the land. Gambit moved first, quite slowly but paying enough attention to the woman they are about to pass through. The door is already waiting for them to break open but unforcibly. They were not unannounced to begin with.

Until a voice protruded from Demeter as soon as they moved past her.

Trio: "?!!"

They looked back at her in sync. Their eyes widened. Gambit thought it was just another apparition but he was perhaps wrong.

"Oh you don't sound very pleased with our arrival, Demeter?", Gambit said.

"You don't belong here either. Your daughter does."

Gambit and the trio turned their backs, moved on to the door that awaits. "We don't have time to discuss. Let's go."
