As my sword bit into Oars, my awareness haki blazed out strong this time. I wanted to make sure this one was dead. But, as I felt Oars's consciousness fading, a roar of triumph and bloodlust burst from me, covering the island for all to hear and feel. The heavy haze of killing intent was so vast it could rival La Spada herself, even though I was nowhere near her in power. Here was someone she would never have to bite cause it wouldn't have made much of a difference.

As Oars began his fall, I looked at the massive tower ahead of me; I knew something oozing horror was there, something tugged at the end of my Haki range. But I was not close enough to truly feel that it was La Spada yet. So as my humongous enemy fell, I jumped off him with all my might, flying through the air until I crashed into the side of the even more giant tower. Parts of my body knocking holes in the walls, I clung on as I used my blade as a climbing tool; it bit into the wall to give me proper leverage. Then I started to climb, my mantra still blazing strong; as I got further upward, the cold chill of my captain's presence would finally announce who gave me such a sense of danger. The feeling of her and her conquer haki was sobering for a moment. Why is she here? But my bloodlust and arrogance would reassert themselves quickly, albeit, now that I was closer, I felt nauseated by the power she had acquired.

Climbing ever upward, it must have been a strange sight from inside the tower, for my blade would pierce the wall again and again. The other presence at the top of this place was a match for me, but compared to the ancient evil that had shown up, we were insignificant insects scurrying about this place.

Not knowing what would happen before I reached the top, I would still knock myself through the wall to enter the fray. My eyes would lock with Spada, my eyes constricting ever so slightly in apprehension, though I would still say with a voice that would drip with malice, "my prey, captain," as I pointed my blade at Moria. In a rare show of respect, or maybe fear, I would acknowledge her rank in the hierarchy of the pirate crew. Such a moment might never come again; who knows?.

Enter the Grim Reaper! #4

Castle Top
The Royal Shichibukai had turned, speaking derogative towards The Grim, it was met by Will, spirit of Kings to make him quiver. La Spada was not a patient woman. The Queen did not stand for defiance. There was a solid few seconds of tense silence, as La Spada peered deep into Moria’s soul. Would she move? Quelled in fear, Moria awaited Death.

Yet, Death did not come. Instead, La Spada too another puff and spoke, answering her own question of what to do with the Schichibukai.

[La Spada] “Luckily, I don’t need yah’ for mah’ plans - just your soul. Don’t fret, mah’ dear. It shall erase many lives!”
With a magnanimous statement, the Captain of the Spada Pirates declared her mission to take Moria’s soul, take his ship, and take his life. It was simple. It was coming. La Spada turned to the window, before making an arrogant statement that Moria was beneath him - she would not be the one to end him.

As if on cue, Kyria, Captain of the 3rd Fleet, arrived through the window. The man oozed that famous Spada killing intent, declaring Moria his prey. The Grim patted the excess cigar ash of the end of her cigar, before crossing her legs, that thick aura still around the room.

La Spada now addressed Kyria’s statement of killing Moria, her voice dark and malevolent. The Grim took out a small watch, now clocking deliberately.
[La Spada] “Yah’ have five minutes. Then, I’m killing yah’ both.”

This was no threat. This was no warning. The tone was simple, nonchalant, honest.

「 The Castle Standoff 」

Moriah began to fume, eyes turning crimson. Pissed off at the turn of events and the sheer chill that he felt from the earlier outburst of a power he had felt once before. His mind no longer able to comprehend that his dreams were now in shatters. He'd begin to snicker with a mouthful of disdain " You punks know shit the terrors of this world " though his brave bravado was about to crumble even further with just a few words of the one that was sat on his throne. Though these words were later to come true, yet he had no clairvoyance as to the events that were about to transpire just as the captain of feared spada pirates sprouted.

"my prey, captain,"
[La Spada] “Yah’ have five minutes. Then, I’m killing yah’ both.”
Moriah's undivided attention came from the captain of the spada pirates until he heard the voice of malice came out of another interloper. ' Did he defeat Oars and this quick? ... Just what on earth is happening.'

Moriah was now a cash cow now with a timer put on his head, his
fingers reacted wildly turning to Kyria. His body throbbed for a mere moment using his disdain, hatred for the two before him as he began to mumble some heretic curses at the duo, growing in size then swinging his arm as he shouted " TSUNO-TOKAGE! " as a large spear sprouted from the landing that Kyria stood on.

Declaring my claim to Moria as my prey, my arrogance knew no bounds today. In all her magnificent wicked glory, La Spada decreed a time limit, or it would be me and Moria that would pay with our lives. My eyes, bloodshot crimson, stared into those unfathomable eyes; they were like pools of malice, similar to my own. She adorned the throne of Thriller Bark like the true empress she was. Would I always be in her shadow? Would I stand equal, or would I surpass her? The hands of fate were fickle; none could know what may come.

My mantra was still burning, and there was no doubt Moria stood equal to myself in power, by far the strongest inhabitant on this island. However, half measures could not be permitted with my captain dangling a noose over my head. Moria seemed to feel the same urgency, for his fingers wildly, and I could hear him mumble curses I did not understand. I would have to act quickly, digging deeper into the recesses of my power than I had done until now; my sword, though already pitch black, could still be seen to darken ever so slightly as I called upon Armament Haki. But that was all I had time for, for out of Morah's fingers shot a spear formed of shadows. Its head resembled a horned lizard, coming straight at me. I put up my left arm to block it; it hit it with some force, breaking bones. But my arm was not out of commission just yet. So I would run at Moria with my sword outstretched in my good hand, intending to bring it above my head as I reached him and split him down the middle. Could this be the only time I'd manage to power through and use my now damaged arm? Time would tell.

The soon-to-be Yonko had stolen Moria’s Dream - to challenge Kaido. The Grim first stole his dream, then his island, and now sought his soul. The woman declared the time limit. If Kyria did not end Moria by then, he would also fall victim. The woman said it with little to no emotion, eerie as it was. From the throne, La Spada watched.

The Grim Reaper crossed her legs and watched. Kyria was young, string, and insatiable, but Moria had experience. Decades of being the premier pirate for a pirate crew. He used that experience by attacking from Kyria blind spot. The Crimson blade was not deterred, now launching a powerful upwards attack, brimming with Haki.

La Spada took another puff of her cigar, keeping her Awareness on and her eyes peeled for a drop in soul.

All bets were to skewer Kyria with the attack, the gamble was placed on the table and it was time to call out some bluffs. With poker chips being placed in the centre, Moriah who originally held the table was now one of the gamblers across the table to Kyria and a newcomer named Isis. Moriah could no longer be his normal self after the events one after the other, from invasion of his beloved Thriller Bark to the means of his crew members being dispatched left, right and centre. Everything was now at the final stretch.

Moriah’s attack with a lizard head struck first but it had little to sway the projection of Kyria’s next move or attack. It simply struck and shattered the radius bone at first inspection. Seeing how he reacted and not acting to action the liability of his arm Kyria propelled with his next attack though Moriah sneered and snarled in his usual cackle.

Moriahs shadow from underneath began to wave and rise from the ground beneath his feet, “ DOPPLEMAN, KISHISHISHI. You underestimate me swordsman. Now your shadow belongs to me “ he would proclaim as he moved to Kyria’s side where he had his other arm in tact. Preparing for a close ranged attack. He then thrusted his arm as he shouted “ GAME OVER; TSUNO – TOKAGE!

Though the attack was directed at Kyria the attack was also meant to strike Isis Spada herself out of tracjectory.

I was running towards Moria, deadly intent on wounding him, but Moria had no intention of making it that easy for me.
DOPPLEMAN, KISHISHISHI. You underestimate me swordsman. Now your shadow belongs to me
His cackle and words did not register right away, for he had used another ability of his and created a shadow version of himself that stood in my path. It was far too late to abort my attack, and either way, this new entity needed to be cut down. So when I reached the Doppelman, I raised my sword over my head and gripped it with both hands, my left arm hurting significantly, but I pushed through as I brought my sword, still blazing with armament haki down and cut at the shadows.

But even as I did so, Moria moved to my right side. My mantra told me exactly where he was, even though the very presence of La Spada almost overwhelmed my senses.
GAME OVER; TSUNO – TOKAGE!
Moria stretched out his fingers again, and I knew what was coming this time. Moria looked to cripple my remaining good arm, which would spell disaster for me if I were to let it happen. Isis might decide to kill me on the spot if I handled myself so poorly against an opponent that might be a match for myself but so far below my captain as to be akin to an ant. Just as the shadow spear appeared from Moria's fingers, I threw myself to the left, rolling on the floor. The pain in my left arm was quite noticeable, and a grunt escaped me. I got my legs underneath me and jumped backward again to create a little distance.

As I flew backward through the air, I started to call on my armament haki again; it spread further than just my blade, covering my whole body instead, and not just my flesh but I included my clothes. The only thing untouched was my crimson hair. When I landed, I was a pitch-black being with crimson hair that stared toward Moria with murder in my eyes.

While I had dodged the spear, its trajectory would carry it towards La Spada. Not that such a thing would worry someone like me. If she couldn't deal with an attack of that level, she'd be unworthy of being my captain. Be that as it may, my loyalty didn't exist, just my appreciation for her carnage. As I stood in my terrifying glory, I lifted my blade into the air and slashed downward, a crescent blade of wind tearing itself from my sword and shooting at Moria. It was also clad in my armament haki and looked like an inky black tear in space as it sped forward.

The battle for survival had begun. This was no longer a fight of survival for Moria - his fate was sealed. This was a fight of survival for Kyria - a fight against time. Two men pitting madness against experience. As the two men went at it, the clock ticked ominously in the background. Every click was like the strum of a guitar, deep and resounding.

Suddenly, Moria attacked, the shadow protruding and continuing to La Spada. The Grim raised an eyebrow, with an amusing chuckle.

The shadow stopped cold on steel, on a blade half unsheathed. The Grim brought her Sandai Kitetsu, the weakest of all the Kitetsu swords she possessed, and held it slightly ajar, stopping the shadow. The sword shook for a moment before the attack was repelled to the size with night a gentle push. It took a single movement.

That infamous sarcasm took the room.
[La Spada] “There are three things I cannot‘ah tolerate: cowardice, bad haircuts, and insurrection. It is very‘ah unfortunate that our friend Moria possesses all three of these.

Words of a Lord. The Empress chuckled evilly, her blade making a clink as it came back to its sheathe. The Empress would not retort - Moria was beneath her, or so it came across. La Spada yawned, bringing her cigar to her mouth after. The clock kept ticking, and La Spada took a glance at the clock.

[La Spada] “3 minutes and 45 seconds.”

Hook, Line and Sinker. That was the aim of the game with Moriah now going on the offensive and calling the swordsman’s bluff. This was the prize for the surprise a delicious shadow in a gift package for him to use at his whim. Though the swordsman was unable to comprehend the use of the shadow doppleman, what came after in the nick of time he adjusted himself to avoid the point-blank range assault that was meant to be. Kyria flew backwards catapulting himself, in the midst of also coating himself in a thick hardening to his entire body darkening in hue. Moriah could only watch and think ‘ What a beast, but a beast of a shadow for me to play with. Kishishishi

Though it was for a mere moment he took his eyes away from La Spada, he’d notice her take out a sword and then repel the attack. Just in the moment of the way how she repelled the attack had Moriah’s attention as his focus was just who was this person? … Meanwhile Kyria had prepared an attack of his own as he charged with intent. Moriah perplexed vented as he snarled whilst his hands glowed in purple hue aura, charging his attack with a coating of haki hardening what seemed to form a pair of claws. “ Shadow Claw “ using a backstep to then push himself forward to thwart the attack.

Moriah Base Str = 61 = Small Building
Shadow Claw = DPR: B = +2 = City Block

As the projectile slash and shadow enhanced claws collided, flickers of light exploded like fireworks. The two attacks had cancelled one another out, Moriah panted as veins beginning to take form showing his temper was reaching boiling point.

I walked forward in the wake of the crescent moon slash I had created. Muscles rippling, bloodlust oozing, but even amid my obsession with Moria's blood, I still noticed La Spada's casual way of blocking the attack I had chosen to dodge. One day I would have the presence of mind to appreciate the might on display. Moria, however, was stressed, for no matter how his duel with me ended up, he'd die all the same, and nothing could save him.

The moment my mantra picked up his armament haki, I put my blade into its sheath, and with my damaged hand, I gripped it, and with my other, I gripped the handle as I bent forward and started to rush towards him. The time had come to wound, maim, and perhaps kill this fat ballon of an enemy. Then, the moment the attacks would cancel themselves out, I would rush through the fireworks to hopefully, at last, take my enemy by surprise. Then, in a lightning-fast moment, my blade would leave its scabbard and strike with deadly accuracy at his torso before quickly returning to its sheath.

The two men fought to the death at the Castle Top. Shadows, sword, haki, will, and hate flowed through the room. La Spada chuckled as she spectated, her eyes following the movements like a moth to a flame. The puffs of her cigar were consistent, over her beady eyes that counted down the clock. Moria had clashed, creating “fireworks” that took the room.

La Spada felt Kyria’s spirit exploding, but her eyes never left Moria. She stared at the man while licking her lips. Perhaps to Moria’s detriment, for he may be able to concentrate on the high-speed attack that came his way from Kyria, filled with crimson haki.

Tick. Tock. La Spada kept counting. Death awaited the clock to hit 0.

Still panting and showing visible signs of frustration, the one he was going up against was a nobody but had enough guile to clash with him so evenly. Moriah was perplexed despite how frustrated he was, he wanted answers but knew there was only one way of getting it. But he wasn’t the one Moriah was wary of as there was another who just sprouted some words and showed a little sign of his capabilities by reflecting his attack moments ago.

Moriah had enough and was now going to show Kyria just why was he a feared man not that long ago. A purple aura began to eminate from him as he clenched his fist as a wall of shadows that had mouths form and began to wail with circles in the holes as Spikes protruded through the mouths. “ Shadows of Obelisk – Spikes Bombardment “ as spikes catapulted at the direction of Kyria who was approaching with his attack.

Moria's frustration continued to build, and I raced toward him, but this attack of mine would not be the one to cut Moria down on this day. Instead, with a clenched fist, this now hated enemy of mine called forth a wall of shadows. It was a terrifying sight, and the nightmare had just started. Mouths formed in the shadows, and from them protruded spikes of black night.

But it was far too late to stop my advance at this stage, and my attack cut a path through it to reach Moria. Sadly, the wall of shadows wasted a lot of the power, and Moria had achieved plucking the teeth from my attack, and my blade struck harmlessly at him and didn't leave even a mark. Moria grinned at me as his eyes started to glow red. Was this a new attack? No, it did not seem so; it was simply a physical feature of Moria himself. Jumping into the air toward me, I would see him from a ball of shadow between his cupped hands before shooting it at me.

There were several ways I could have dealt with this attack to neutralize it. I could evade it; I could send an attack of my own. But how should I deal with this? I decided the moment after. I don't need my left arm for this. I stretched out my left hand and felt the impact as the shadow struck. Damage of this level wouldn't usually face me in the slightest, but my previous injury made itself known as spikes of pain shot through me. A snarl of pain escaped my lips as they contorted into an expression of pure rage.

My arm was shaking, almost buckling under the pressure as shadows looked like they were trying to escape through my fingers. But I held on, and with a muted sound, the ball vanished.

The two warriors exchanged blows. La Spada’s eyes glowed in the moonlight behind their dance. A dance of survival. Each puff had a time interval, the clock ever counting down. Moria clashed with Kyria’s attack. The Mayhem, clad in spirit and will, took the attack, using the time bought to counter-attack, his crimson blade seeking Moria’s end.

La Spada’s boney finger clacked against the chair, one for each second. The woman looked over her clock. A malevolent smile curled.

[La Spada] “One minute.”

Those words echoed, amplified by soul. That terrible soul that sought to drink the world dry a plinked, chilling the air. A sweep of cold came to the room. The H20 in the air began to chill, slowly and dramatically turning to a mist that rose from the warrior’s feet. For now, it hung at their ankles, it did not obscure them, almost kept in check by Will, slowly rising with each second counting down.

La Spada pulled her sheath out of her hip. It was her Nidai Kitetsu, the cursed top 21 sword. It slowly became unsheathed. Time was running out.

Moriah intention was to halt the invasion of Kyria and another interloper who'm Moriah had head of but never seen. But today was the mark of a face he would not forget but importantly never forgive. The shadow ball that was cupped would be launched at the direction of the swordsman as Moriah shut his eye and roared not witnessing just how Kyria dealt with the attack. Opening his eyes just a few seconds later to see the attack just disintegrated before him as Moriah's mind and body aligned with the following ' This can't be happening '

Moriah had lost all hope, his soul felt like it traversed out of his body as gravity would take him on a rollercoaster down to his demise. The swordsman would unleash another barrage slashing, cutting from one side to the other immediately pincering through his thick skin and clothing and slammed through his ribs. His eyes rolled backwards with his mouth gazing wide open coughing out blood as he landed on his face.

Result, Winner is Kyria, Kyria vs Moriah
Kyria's Attack DPR = Small Country Level
Moriah Dura DPR = 61 = City Block Level

DPR 2 or more higher than dura: super effective
DPR is 5 tiers higher than Moriah's Dura

With the zombies that were alarmed earlier and made a beeline out of fear, all turned to look back at the castle due to the disturbance. They all felt a sudden chill but all felt at unease as to what just this would mean.

Moria was coming down towards me, but I was ready; finally, my attack would find its mark this time. My blade ripped through it all, clothes, skin, ribs. Finally, Moria was finished, and he collapsed face down in a heap on the floor. While this was happening, La Spada had started to get herself ready for the murders she would commit unless I could keep my deadline. A mist had risen around my ankles and was slowly climbing up. Would Spada cancel her technique now that I had slain Moria? Or would she attack just for the fun of it?

A wave of exhaustion hit me, and my Armament Haki crumbled away. What would Isis Spada do`? Unless her actions stopped me, I would turn around and look her straight in the eyes; she was almost as tall as myself. Then I would ask in a voice steeped in exhaustion, "why did you come"? Flickering of killing intent is still radiating off me.

The countdown was ticking. Kyria had poured everything he had in that final attack. With a swift and powerful attack, Moria fell, life slowly draining. The Shichibukai’s blood now dripping from his blade, crimson as the deepest part of his soul. Shichibukai Moria had fallen. Thriller Bark had fallen.

La Spada looked at her clock. 15 seconds. Kyria just made it. The Empress stood up, before the mist covered Kyria in his entirety, blocking all sight. La a Spada used her mantra to block her signature. Suddenly, the chuckle of the captain came from behind Kyria. The mist thinned. When it cleared, La Spada was standing on the edge of the room, past Kyria, blade slowly sheathing.

[La Spada] “My, my, my. Did I say 5 minutes? Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. A slip of tha’ tounge. I actually meant 4 minutes.”

Those mischievous words came with a realization. A delayed attack. La Spada had previously passed in her iai speed (120 speed), past Kyria, in an attempt to deliver a resounding slash to his chest in a diagonal manner. Kyria would potentially not know what occurred until the mist died, and La a Spada spoke. The slash would not kill, but likely leave a scar to remember. A signature technique, Hanauta Sancho: Yahazu Giri. For fun. For chaos. La Spada cared not for her nakama, even with Moria as a tribute.

La Spada stayed for a second. Almost challenging Kyria to retaliate if he dared. After, the Empress and her evil will pushed off. The pack of bones seemed like a lightning bolt that landed on the corpse of Oars. The Captain brought her left hooked hand. From it, a green light began whirling. Whirling with a malevolent intent, the hook slowly shone. An aura of an Unsundered, to find a home.

A ball of green light appeared over her skeletal hand. La Spada looked at it with a caring look, before she grabbed the ball of light, grabbed the soul. With a powerful thrust, The Grim injected the soul to Oars. Suddenly, the corpse of Oars trembled. His eyes lit up in a green aura. La Spada smiled wide, madly, as Oars rose. Welcome back.

[La Spada] “RIIIIIISSSSSEEEEE, UVVVOOGINNNN!!!!”

Spada Attack: 120: 5. Town Level +2 ( B Rank) + 2 (armaments) = 9. Small Country Level
Hanauta Sancho: Yahazu Giri ("Three-Verse Humming: Arrow-Notch Slash"): The user slashes an opponent at such a fast pace that it appears that they did not attack at all. Only when a certain amount of time has passed, which is approximate to the time the user walks ten feet away, or three verses, does their opponent realize the attack. It seems to employ elements of iai. The actual attack itself, however, is never seen clearly due to the speed implemented.

「 Thriller Bark 」 - Post #22
@Beerbottle @Ichimonji

Kyria's relentless barrage mercilessly tore into the flesh of Moriah as he was unable to move or do much as his life escaped him with the unbearable pain that was transplanted upon him. Though it was official the Shichubukai was done and dusted, as a slot was chalked off. Though the world was yet to hear what would come out of Thriller Bark.

Meanwhile following reports of the outrageous invasion of Impel Down, a marker was placed upon her back and it was locked on. A battalion of warships were set out to capture her, if not halt her movements. Their set destination was Thriller Bark, a buster call was coming. For after all for every action there is a reaction. They wern't going to sit all willy nilly to allow her to freely walk upon this earth.

" We are nearing the Thriller Bark, set your cannons and prepare to fire " a Rear Admiral would yell out as cannons began to move at the direction of the island as marine officers began to fully fill them up with cannonballs.

A
Vice Admiral donning a furry jacket, with long braided hair would make a statement " Let's see this what you got, Spada babe " with another senior officer berating him " Don't get ahead of yourself kid "

A total of 10 ships all made their destination with La Spada their target.

The mist had risen almost entirely, blocking my sight. My head veered from side to side like an animal sensing danger. But even if I had been wholly rested and my power at its normal levels, I could have never predicted nor stopped the dreaded captain of the Spada Pirates. With speed far surpassing my own, she had decided to remind me who was currently the immense terror on the seas, the top dog as it were, whereas I was still just a flee hitching a ride.
[La Spada] “My, my, my. Did I say 5 minutes? Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. A slip of tha’ tounge. I actually meant 4 minutes.”
The words barely registered from across the room; then, her blade finished its journey into the sheath. A long diagonal gash appeared from my right shoulder and traveled across my chest. Blood spurted out before the pain started to register, then it hit me with searing intensity as if La Spada had just applied a red hot poker to my skin.

La Spada DPS: 120: 5. Town Level +2 ( B Rank) + 2 (armaments) = 9. Small Country Level
Kyria Dura: 81-100: 5. Town Level
DPR 2 or more higher than dura: super effective
It is pathetic to admit it, but I had been caught unprepared, and the surprise coupled with my current exhaustion helped the wound affect me more than it ought to, and I sank to my knees, the light in my eyes dimming for but a moment before returning like a fire. A growl tore itself from my throat, and I tried to stand up; my knees buckled, however, and I fell back down. My captain looked on for one second, daring me to attack her. But I had lost my chance, for she did not linger longer than a second before disappearing from my sight. My mantra was somehow still flickering through all of this, and I felt the moment when Moria's soul departed from this world. My enemy was dead, and his passing meant surprisingly little to me at this moment. Instead, my rage was now focused on the captain; my destiny had become tangled with her, and I had become a slave chained to her whim.

Blood flowed from my newly acquired wound and dripped onto the floor in rivulets, slowly sapping my strength, but one thought came to me with some semblance of clarity. I must get the damn fruit. Since my legs had all but given up on me at this moment, I crawled towards the corpse of Moria and stuck my hands into his gaping wounds. After rooting around there, my hand found what I was looking for, and I pulled it out while my arms dripped with Moria's still cooling blood.

The Kage Kage no Mi is a pitch-black fruit covered n golden lines with the underside covered in green leaves. I pocketed the treasure and was just about to contemplate my following action when I got interrupted by the presence of someone I had not felt before. I did not know what my captain had done, but she had traveled to the corpse of the giant Oars. Finally, she had found a new home for the soul of her old comrade, one she cared for more than any of her Spada Pirates. To her, we were expendable, Uvogin, however, was irreplaceable, and she had carried his soul with her since decimating Impel Down. What would this mean for the rest of the world? No one could know at this point.

And unbeknownst to myself, a buster call was rapidly closing in.

Thriller Bark had fallen. Uvogin had risen. The new Oars, the new Spada Pirate HQ. Thriller Bark was already dark and pedantic, but under Spada rule, it would become Hell on Earth. The World Government noticed the Grim’s rampage. They had followed the would-be Empress to the floating island, now approaching through the fog.

Up in the tower, Kyria claimed his prize, through the deep cut he bore and the pain. A welcoming. Suddenly, a small leech (3 feet long) would slither on Kyria’s back. As he struggled, the leech bit into his open wound. The pain would be palpable. His blood would be sucked. There was ill-will. A byproduct, however, was a shor injected through the fangs. A regeneration shot to heal Kyria’s wound. It would take a turn or two, but it would heal.

Enter the doctor of the Spada Pirates, Nemesis “The Leech”.

[La Spada] “My, my, my. I feel a tremor of excitement. It’s been a while... since I was the one being chased.”
[La Spada] “Kuhahahahahahaha!!!”

The Empress stood on Oars’ shoulder, both looking into the distance. From that position, high in the sky, they could see the Marine Warships approaching.

The camera would shift. Captain La Spada walked alone, her swords clinking. Nemesis slithered up her leg. The leech began eating the bits of rotting flesh on her skeletal ribcage, eyes red from the evil it sucked. That deliberate clanking of La Spada’s skeletal toes broke the shadows that came with the fall of night. From the mist, La Spada approached the bow, the dock, the entrance of Impel Down.

The Empress stared down the army, alone.

[La Spada] “Come, mah’ darlings. Come to Death.”

@Dream
It’s certainly your call, Dream. But given the “Moria” part of the arc is over, I think Beer should be allowed to use Shusui now, since he has it IC. It would be great IC development, like Zoro did when he first fought with it.

Just my two cents, tho 👾

Story: The leech of darkness. Born from the bloodiest civil war, this leech grew for a taste of chaos. It travelled the world drinking people, leeching off the evil in them, leaving them lifeless. Dubbed “Nemesis” for its effect of downfall of wherever he was released. Nemesis found himself imprisoned in Impel Down to drain Level 6 prisoners, the most evil of all. Yet, his thirst was not satiated until he leeched off La Spada, there to release the prisoners of Level 6. Nemesis was released among the prison break, latching to The Grim.

Nemesis became satiated by La Spada’s evil. Therein forged a symbiotic relationship. Nemesis lived within La Spada’s boney body, constantly leeching off and consuming the pieces of maggots flesh within the Grim. In return, Nemesis follows her every command, like a pet to a master.

Nemesis plague is the Curse of the Firstborn, as Nemesis sucks away life of the ones most important to its prey.
