I'm so glad this got animated, I never got into ToG into the OJ days, but now that the anime was on I was like ... sure, I'll give it a shot. NOW I'M ON THE HOOK

i'm happy we got an anime but i am annoyed at so much missed content from episode 1 then 2 followed with 3 and now 4 too

Man I thought this anime was going to be like the next HxH. It's imo boring, not like BNH but its not fun, as i thought it would be.
Hope it gets better.

TBH I really reccomend reading the web comic, the anime left out a whole lot. Though the quality of the art is.. well.. not good to begin with, but gets gradually better. If the anime slows down a bit, season 2 will be great!

Yeah, my friends say the webtoon is better and the anime isn't doing it justice. Also I read some where that Season 1 is more of a setup and next season it gets better. Well I do hope so.

I like both tbh... I do recommend to watch the anime! It's got nice animation and imo it's a good adaptation. I've read the chapters again after every episode and the changes are too minor imo to neglect the anime xD

yeah, pretty much. Season 1 is like the "prequel" if you will. But it's in its own right a classic. Season 2 is when it really picks up imo!

Yeah, I mean I don't disagree. I like the anime, but it does feel a bit rushed, and therefore a bit lacking. I'd still reccomend the anime, but as it is I think I prefer the webtoon over it right now.

Y, i agree, but watch it from the producer's pov. Long running shows can be quite painful to animate and therefore the shorter the better

tbh i am grateful we got an anime for this which was highly requested but it's missing a lot of good context

eg: Quantz: "No matter how small a baby shark is, it will never swim with the sardines" and the whole safe zone explanation

Then there's also Yuri grabbing Green April from ep.12 off Anak saying you too come to the 77th Floor with Baam and tell him Urek Mazino is waiting for him.

Also the whole Phantaminum explanation too

Totally agree, if ToG didn't get an animation I wouldn't've gotten into the series (most likely). The animation is really clean, and it get's the major points in (for the most part). I think it's endearing and funny enough, but I can see how it can be a little "boring", it's not as energetic as say BNHA. But I feel that it's going a good enough job to create interest in the series, it deserves every single watch and read!!

The biggest negative with ToG was that it was rushed here and there, then not forgetting the announcement of 13 episodes which imo they put themselves in a corner.

iirc i persuaded you to read ToG back on OJ like i did with many back on OJ

tbh i found BnHA anime boring and ToG rushed

I mean, ToG was a big and hot topic on OJ, so I had heard about it, and I was interested in checking it out at one point, but I never really got into the whole manwha thing then. So for me when the anime came out I was like "Hey, maybe I should give it a shot!". Many people endorsed reading ToG back then!

I'm glad I had a lot of content to catch up to, super great fun

The newest episode was amazing! I just hope they don't take that ending scene literally xD Rachel was characterized surprisingly human throughout the episode. Also the recap of Hwangyung telling her she is lucky gave me some thoughts as a webtoon reader. Great end for season 1
