Mad Treasure Pirates #1

The sea was roused, wild, and treacherous. In the West Blue, the area of sea was called El Dorado. The infamous stretch of sea is where the treasure Pure Gold was said to lay. Countless ships fell to the treacherous sea, leaving behind untold treasures. Sailing in the middle of the stretch of sea were the Trasire Pirates, their infamous pirate flag standing tall. The Shark Emeralda was stalwart, cutting through the waters. Even from afar, one could see the mountain of treasure at the back of the ship. The Treasure Pirates had riches, yet the sought the adventure of it all.

Overlooking the main deck, the captain’s seat lay, populated. A young woman with a cap, brown hair, and makeup approached.

[Naomi Drunk] “We’ve located Pure Gold. The stretch of land starboard is where it lies.”​

[Mad Treasure] “Good! Gild Tesoro will be pleased! Set the course!”​

Gild Tesoro. An even more infamous pirate. Yet, here was Mad Treasure, one who gained the bounty of 150,000,000 for his use of slaves. Even in the deck, clothed slaves manned it. The treasure of freedom was not found here,

Kuvira's eyes would lock onto the land ahead, she would start to raise the sails of the small boat she came here on and begin to paddle ashore. "El Dorado" is what they called this area, tales of some great treasure attracted many to this island, mostly pirates looking to get rich. Kuvira however did not come here for a treasure, instead a bounty.

The young marine was tasked with hunting down and defeating "The Treasure Pirates", a group led by the man that goes by the name Mad Treasure. A little on the nose she thought to herself. After Kuvira's and Wukong's battle against the world pirates in the New World her higher ups determined that she was more than capable of taking out this crew on her own, which was slightly jarring to her since Wukong had did most of the work, however she wouldn't turn down this opportunity to further grow her reputation. Treasure Pirates are just another stepping stone towards her ascension to Fleet Admiral.

Kuvira would arrive to shore, dragging her boat on the island and storing it somewhere out of sight for safety. The report said they were coming here next, so she would simply wait.

Treasure Pirates #2

The Treasure Pirates, in hot pursuit of Pure Gold treasure, braved El Dorado. Landing in an island known as Lost Island, the crew braved the treacherous waters and approached land. The Crew already held treasure, it was adventure they sought. The ship docked gently in the desolate dock. The beach was against mountain ridges that used ropes to climb. A city was emblazoned on the top of the rocks. These, however, were most different. Not a single soul could be seen. The howling of the wind made a creepy howl that was carried by the wind. Many shops were docked, giving the sense that many crews landed, docked, to never return.

The woman with the baseball cap and a smaller man with a pink coldsuit de-boarded the ship. With them, a group of 15 pirates strong. Mad Treasure was not among them.

[Naomi Drunk] “Allright, men! You know the drill! Canvas the area and set up a perimeter. The treasure is here.”​

[Paycho P] “Legend has it many a crew met their end here. Watch your step! Whatever may come, we have Mad Treasure with us! To adventure!​

​

Shouts of huzzah followed. The unnamed pirates starting climbing ho the rope, unaware of who was on the island. Adventure, they hoped.

Kuvira could hear a group of rowdy people in the distance, initially unsure if they were who she was after until one of them announced that Mad Treasure was there. Kuvira would activate her Observation haki and wait for the group to travel deeper into the island, she would stalk them from a distance.

Kuvira would have to be careful, she couldn't just attack them as they were known to have many slaves in their crew, individuals she planned on freeing from their thumb. The goal here was to strategically pick off the actual crew members before confronting Mad treasure himself. After her encounter with Nightin, she realized how vulnerable she was to trickery like poisons and it was unknown if they had anything of the sort.

Treasure Pirates #3

The pirate crew had made landfall. Two officers of the crew had disembarked, bringing 30 pirate underlings with them. The town in the mountain top was split in two: East and West. In the middle stood a valley that separated the two. There were two ropes at the beach edge of the mountain, each leading to the East and West of the island. The Treasure Pirates split into two: 15 pirates for each group. Naomi Drunk followed the group heading to the West. Psycho P had disappeared, though a good assumption is he would be East. Mad Treasure was nowhere to be found. Was he at the ship? As the groups climbed the rope, Naomi’s voice echoed.

Behind the pirates, differently clothed individuals followed.

[Naomi Drunk] “Hey, you slaves! Get going! You’ll be leading the pack and take the traps!​

Sure enough, 5 slaves per group followed. They were chained from the hands with a large brown jumpsuits, their eyes downtrodden. Their skin clung to bones. With all the treasure the pirates boasted, it seemed deplorable the slaves were so weak. Cannon fodder. The groups made it to the respective cities. The buildings were desolate and downtrodden. Not a soul lived. They entered the towns, the slaves leading the way to find the legendary traps. Skeletons showed many crews met their fate in this treacherous town. All in search of the treasure.

All unaware they were already being watched.

1. Post your stats with your first post. This is actually a rule. Make sure you post your current stats in next post. This way, as you level up while you’re on the island, we know what your stats when starting are - those will be the stats for your whole IC.
2. It’s always a good idea of stating your position in your posts. So, next post, state where you are in the island. The more detailed, the better. Allows the host to work with that.
3. Pictures help make the story real, particularly reactions. Your character is from Avatar, no? There should be plenty of pics. Not every post (this post I didn’t put any pics), but every now and then.

Kuvira stalked Naomi and the group of slaves from the buildings above them, waiting the group to get further away from the rest of the crew, dashing rooftop to rooftop to keep an eye on them. Kuvira wondered the best way to approach this situation, if this happened to turn into an all out brawl here what would happen to the slaves? Confrontation was not an option, instead she would aim to take her out swiftly before she could retaliate.

Kuvira's best asset was without question her speed, combined with Rokushiki she felt she was well suited for moments like this. As they entered one of the cities and Naomi let the slaves lead them, she would strike. With the sun ahead of them Naomi being alerted by Kuvira's shadow was not an issue so she would use Kamisori and dash through the air behind them, closing in on Naomi with high speed before using Shigan "Oren", attempting to stab her in the back multiple times, making sure she targeted her spine and just where her heart would be located. This time was different from Nightin, Treasure Pirates were irredeemable in her eyes so there was no mercy in this attack, she would not regret the outcome.

Requirements: 46 Mastery, 41 Strength and 61 Movement Speed
A combination of Geppo and Soru, where the user uses Soru in a zigzag motion in midair, allowing extremely fast movements in three dimensions.

Shigan "Oren"
Requirements: 51 Mastery, 51 Strength
DPS: B
This attack is simply a rapid-fire version of the normal Shigan technique that hits the enemy multiple times.

Treasure Pirates #4

OCC: Sorry! Busy week/weekend!

The Treasure Pirates split into two groups. Fifteen pirates each, and one commander. Slaves of five lead the way, to be fodder for the traps that surely awaited them. To one side of the city split, Naomi Drunk took her people, nervously moving about the empty ruins. The whistling of the wind was hallowing, as the gust from the sea was strong. An eerie approach to a desolate place. To the center of town they went, coming to the city center. Not a soul seen, only the whistling of the wind. The map led to the center.

Suddenly, Naomi Drunk, behind the slaves and pirates, widened her eyes. The whistling of the wind had been broken, signaling a disturbance.

[Naomi Drunk] “Ughhh! W-w-who the hell a-a-re you?!”​

The woman‘s body skipped through the center until coming to a halt. She looked back to the culprit, words barked. Naomi was on the ground, holding her torso, it soaked with blood. Kuvira had succeeded in her attack. Yet, the wind had warned Naomi, stealth broken, and she moved just enough prior to contact to avoid a hit to the spine and heart. Still, her wounds were plenty, and she seemed to be glued to the ground, blood staining the earth. Could she fight henceforth?

The woman shouted orders as she took out her bow with difficulty.

[Naomi Drunk] “What are you waiting for?! Get him!”​

With those words, the slaves and pirates sprung into action. The slaves surrounded Naomi, creating a ring shield as Naomi recovered. They were used as fodder meat shields. Disgusting, but these were not saints. The rest of the 15 pirates split into two groups. Ten charged Kuvira while five stayed behind. The ten came to the Marine in a oval-approach, swords above their heads, intent on slashing the girl. The remaining five pulled out their rifles, pointing at Kuvira, waiting for an opportunity to fire.

Kuvira's attack was successful as she sent Naomi flying from impact. As the slaves swarmed to protect her from any further follow up. 10 of them would begin to charge Kuvira, moving so slow she felt her Observation Haki was overkill in the moment, nonetheless grateful for the training she received from Suyin. Kuvira wanted to free these people but in order to do that she needed to show them that the power Mad Treasure possessed and of his captains were of no concern.

Kuvira would use Basic Geppo to take to the sky above them, avoiding conflict with the slaves charging at her before beginning to speak. Kuvira's speed would appear to be astonishing to the slaves, seemingly teleporting out of their line of sight.

Basic Geppo:
Requirements: 11 Mastery, 21 Movement Speed, 21 Strength.
The user kicks off the air with such force that they lift off. Mastery divided by 2 is the amount of times you can kick before having to land.

"My name is Kuvira and I am with the Marines. I've been sent to put an end to Mad Treasure and the Treasure pirates. All slaves forced to be in his crew will be freed once I am finished, able to go live normal lives on your own. If you want you can even enlist in the marines and use our resources to create new lives for yourselves with my and my mentor's recommendation. Never again being forced into a life of indentured servitude. All that I ask is that you put your weapons down and let me arrest Naomi Treasure. I will then take down Mad Treasure."

Kuvira floated up and down in the air, sparingly using her kicks to maintain being airborne. Arms crossed behind her back, standing at rest in the sky, looking downward at the slaves she intended to free, a look of seriousness on her face as she watched them, ready to react to whatever they decided to do. If they decided to attack her, her next move was not so clear. All she could do is hope that what she's displayed is enough for them to bet on her.

Treasure Pirates #5

The Cipher agent had made his way to the second-in-command, break8ng ranks and landing a blow against Naomi. The woman survived, slaves protecting her like agents of slavery. The pirates were told to attack. Ten sword-bearing pirates dashed at her to slash the newcomer, but would find their target jumping in the air itself. The woman went on a long-winded speech, one that would startle the five slaves surrounding Naomi. One began to shake, taking a step forward out of the rotation, believing in the words. Another slave shouted: “No!”. A moment after, an explosion occurred on the slave’s back, propelling him forward, dead. Naomi had stood up, her bow reloading, eyes angry.

[Naomi Drunk] “E-e-liminate Captain? Ha! Y-y-a won’t even leave here a-a-alive!”​

​

With those words, Naomi’s bow began to shine pink. Words of hubris, for the woman was gravely injured. From below, the remaining five pirates with rifles began firing. A blanket of bullets hailed upwards, intent on shooting down the airborne woman. There was little room to maneuver in the blanket of bullets that kept firing. The ten sword wielding pirates doubled back to Naomi and surrounded her outside of the slaves, their numbers short.

The real battle would begin now.

Kuvira would inhale sharply, surprised by Naomi's attack on to one of the slaves. Kuvira had failed that one, however she could not afford to let this woman linger around any longer and knew that she needed to act now to save the others. As the bullets would begin to come towards her she would halt her Geppou and begin coming downward towards the gunfire, the Marine would begin swinging her legs seemingly wild like, launching numerous Rankyaku shaped like shuriken, however she would use these to clear bullets on her decent to the ground, overpowering the bullets and carrying onward towards the men firing them, simultaneously using her kicks momentum to twist and turn dodging those that she could not deal with.

Once Kuvira managed to land she would dash towards Naomi and the other pirates with murderous intent.

Treasure Pirates #6

The dexterous Marine came down with an unique to the Government, using air shurikens to swat the bullets away. A gorgeous technique that left the rifle-wielding pirates in awe. Those holding swords did not freeze. Instead, they ran at Kuvira, newly grounded, with war cries. However, upon reaching swing length, something unexpected happened. The front three exploded outward.

A large explosion five meters radius wide occurred, creating a sizable explosion that engulfed five of the ten sword-wielding pirates. The explosion would be big enough to engulf Kuvira, in range of the pirates. Behind the explosion, Naomi could be seen, now front. She had sacrificed her nakama to attempt to land a surprise attack on the Marine: through the pirates.

[Naomi Drunk] “This is my ability. Dyna Stone arrows. Your dodging skills cannot help you against the size of my attacks!”​

​

The camera zoomed into the arrow used, showing an empty capsule that held an imitation Dyna Stone, creating a terrible explosion of large radius. Naomi was still on one knee, yet her arrow was loaded and ready. Wounded, yet a cornered rat would strike back.

The real battle had just begun. Kuvira had to figure out a way to survive the explosions and save the slaves that may get caught in the crossfire if she got too close to the mad woman.

There was no honor amongst thieves.

Naomi wields a bow and arrows. Some of her arrows are equipped with encapsulated Dyna Stones as arrowheads that cause massive destruction, capable of destroying a Marine ship.
