The Wano Country is a powerful, isolationist country in the New World that is not affiliated with the World Government.[4] It is currently under the rule of its shogun, Kurozumi Orochi, as well as occupied by the Beasts Pirates under Kaido.[5] Previously, Wano was ruled by the Kozuki Family until the family's usurper, Orochi, conspired with Kaido to overthrow and supersede their shogunate 18 years ago.
The world was one where many people could share their joy. Some strove to become Marines, fighting for justice. Some strove to become Pirates, fighting for freedom and exploration, and doomed to be hunted by the World Government until their last breath. Needless to say, other factions, affiliations and walks of life were born inbetween the two extremes. The Revolutionary Army was a militarized group that swore to oppose the World Government, while Bounty Hunters strove to kill and capture pirates. The Shichibukai were former pirates that turned to the World Government, helping the World Government fight other pirates in exchange for their own freedoms. The Cipher Pols were secret agents and weapons of the World Nobles. And to wrap it all up, there was the Underworld.
There were not many islands that had what it took, to bring a number of those factions together in outright, bloody, merciless war. However, Wano Country was one such country. Home to one of the Emperors of the Sea, the all-powerful Kaidou, supposedly the strongest man in the world, Wano had what it took to warrant the attention of all of those factions.
And with so many high-profile figures all converging on Wano all at the same time, a world-shaking war was undoubtedly about to break out.
Wano was a formation most grand. There were only two methods of entry. The Climbing Koi Waterfall, which was the hardest one, involved tying ships to the giant koi that routinely climbed up the surrounding waterfalls from the sea, allowing the fish to pull the ships along. The other method involved entering a hidden tunnel located behind one of the waterfalls, which led to the Mogura Port, where people and cargo could get transported inland through a gondola. The latter method, however, was restricted to those who were granted permission by either Kaido or Orochi. Those limited ways of access, as well as the vicious currents located in the inner and outer seas of Wano, meant that the country was naturally near impenetrable, with shipwrecks being a common sight.
However, despite how hard it was to enter Wano, there was good enough motivation this time around, for a number of figures to attempt it. The rumor had spread throughout the world incredibly quickly. A severe drought had befallen Wano. No rain had come for months. The local bodies of water were already highly polluted from Kaido's neverending thirst for weapon production, which had led him to create many factories that polluted rivers and lakes on a daily basis. Kaido had sent out a number of ships to go to other countries and bring back water, but none of them returned. Most recently, he had sent out one of his 3 Calamities, Jack, to procure water, but even Jack did not return. With Kaido and the rest of Wano growing more and more restless, Kaido himself planned to set sail. Three days from this day, Kaido would set off, aiming to pillage neighboring islands and countries for water.
But, needless to say, with the opportunity to bring down a thirsty, dehydrated, weakened Emperor of the Sea, a number of factions decided to raid Wano and bring Kaido to his knees.

The tranquil sea shook in place, as if it was trembling. Parting the waters was an ominous seemingly lifeless ship, sailing amidst the now quickening waves that hung to life around the vessel. Sails torn, decaying wood, Creaking mast, cannons rusted, and a giant Scythe in the bow called home to the Styx. An symbol of terror emblazoned on the crow’s nest; La Spada Pirates.
Rumors about the drought in Wano, a chink in the impenetrable armor of the World’s Stringest Beast, beckoned the call of the dead. With rumors circulated that Jack and the Yonko were away, the sail was upended. Determined and decisive, the infamous Spada Pirates set sail, right to Wano’s doorstep.
The deck of the Styx was devoid of life, all but one. A large shadow of a man in a western hat manned the mast. Beneath his robes, burnt skin bled. One of the plagues: Zalera “The Deadshot”.
[Zalera] “These waves... it’s as if the heavens themselves deny passage to the wicked... Zalehahahahaha!!!”
The camera shifted to the advancing waters. The waters collided with a river, and its current pulled the Styx and any to it. Whirlpools appeared, forcing Zalera to maneuver, narrowly surviving. Nearing the base of the famous waterfall, the shadow of a giant wave blotted the sun and cast over the Styx.
Suddenly, a green light beamed. The advancing wave turned to ice, and a moment later, tore into hundreds of ice pieces, small enough to bounce of the ship and the Styx to continue. The Styx advanced to the waterfalls base, where dozens of Giant Koi swimmers upwards to the waterfall.
From the stairs leading to the deck, a single ominous figure in a full dark cloak appeared. Through the head portion of the cloak, only four things stood out. Red ruby lips Biting a cigar, a scar running diagonally from the nose, yellow slit-eyes, and long luscious black hair. A woman with no need for introduction: La Spada.
[Zalera] “C-C-Captain. I-I-I... the waterfall! It will consume the sh-”
An abrupt stare from La Spada forced Zalera to look down. He’s feel the chill in the air, the cold souls, running down his spine. A single chord of a violin, violent in nature, strummed. One particularly giant swam around the Styx and widened its eyes. Birthed from the cloak was a large green skeleton, complete with ominous music and a malevolent chuckle.
The giant Koi was instilled with fear, now swimming tame to in front of the ship, in front of the bow. It’s back was spread, as if waiting to be hooked. The Styx’s humongous scythe was right above them. It needed only someone (@Sea) to drop the ship’s scythe on them to act as the forced ferryman.
Spada Pirates would enter Wano as they were: by force and through someone’s pain.

The recent rumours of the disaster happening in Wano spreads like wildfire, and now the prize country of Wano has slowly been eyed by many parties, one such party are the Spada Pirates. The dangerous Spada Pirates’ goals have always been strange – but one thing they seem to truly agree on is taking down Kaido would disrupt the balance of World Government and Pirates, and chaos would easily follow afterwards and that chaos is what Spada Pirates sought after, the country would likely been a secondary objective. Spada Pirates flagship, ‘The Styx’, now seen at the entrance to Wano, the ship – in a such a state that most would not consider sailing with, in fact they would even believe the existence of such ships are ghost ships, as if risen from the watery graves that were sunk with.
Here, the crew members of the Styx remain, attempting to deal with their first hurdle of the journey. Akira, the Shadow of La Spada remains quiet as Zalera would spoke poetically regarding the dangerous water currents the ship is facing, such tone is something Akira is not a fan of since he dislikes cryptic manners of speaking when they could have spoken normally, though such thoughts are not projected of verbal criticism. As a school of giant Koi fishes appeared near the ship, some in which started climbing upwards from the waterfall base – this is the chance for La Spada to climb the waterfall. Concerns from Zalera in regards to crashing into the ship was immediately met with a stare, but without hesitation La Spada would strummed a note followed by a green aura in form of a skeleton which soon after led to a particular giant Koi swimming in front of the ship’s bow.
Seeing the plan of action, Akira would quickly run forward towards the ship bow where the ship’s special weapon is located, despite the rocky and dangerous currents creating a situation where it is easy to fell overboard – Akira was able to manoeuvre himself quickly towards the giant scythe at the front, where with a single lever was pulled – the giant scythe would drop down, immediately piercing into the fish’s scales, but not deep enough to fatally kill the fish – instead hooking into Koi before it would climb the waterfall. Through this, the Koi would climb the waterfall in pain – and that would allow Spada Pirates to reach the top of the waterfall and into Wano Kuni.
The disaster that had befallen Wano served as an opportunity to many an outsider. Unbeknownst to others, the La Spada pirates were already headed for Wano, aiming to wreak havoc on the Yonkou's island. The World Government, and more specifically the Marines, were players in this ordeal as well.

Purupurupurupuru... purupurupurupuru...
A Den Den Mushi rang, in a certain Marine's office. The line was picked up, and the man of deep voice spoke.
L-Leo-sama, the higher-ups are asking what you plan to do in Wan-!
Tell your higher-ups that their higher-ups know everything they need to know.
The Vice Admiral said, clearly annoyed by the bureaucracy of it all. Who cares what he was going to do there? Pirates were there, and he was a Marine. That as all there was to it. For Vice Admiral Leo, at least. He hung the Den Den Mushi up and stood up, putting his coat on. Sitting on the edge of the window behind him was one of his men. A samurai-looking man by any standard, he was Sasaki.
You know I'm coming with you right? A land of samurai? I would never miss such an opportunity.
Sasaki said, jumping off and landing in the office. Two shorter katanas were sheathed on his hips, one on each side, and a significantly longer katana was mounted on his back. His long hair tied into a ponytail blew in the wind that blew into the office, and his wrinkled face morphed into a smile of excitement.
I can always use more firepower.
Leo said and Sasaki nodded.
Present day
Hmm? Who are these guys? That one looks like one of our own, but the eye-patch guy is fishy...
Leo and Sasaki, who had landed in Wano using the same method as the La Spada pirates later that day, seemed to have caught the attention of some random swordsmen in Wano. Sasaki, who looked like a samurai, fit right in, but Leo didn't look anything like a person of Wano. The three swordsmen cut Leo and Sasaki off as they walked, standing in their way and gripping the hilts of their sheathed katanas.
Hey you! Is this stranger bothering you?
One of the swordsmen said to Sasaki, speaking of Leo. Sasaki's facial expression turned into one of confusion, until he finally realized the misunderstanding. He burst out laughing.
Sahaha, this guy?! Yea, he's a total pain in the ass! Please, save me from him!
Sasaki said, Leo's eyes sharpening. He was not a fan of Sasaki's shenanigans. The three swordsmen unsheathed their swords, ready to force Leo away from Sasaki. Snickering, Sasaki was having fun with the situation. Little did he know, Leo wouldn't have it. With a Soru, Leo disappeared from sight and appeared inbetween the three swordsmen, knocking them unconscious with his bare hands. As the three swordsmen fell to the ground, Leo gave Sasaki the stare of death.
Stop messing around Sasaki.
Leo said, Sasaki smiling and rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.
Uteki and Ai were both sitting in a pub on a random island enjoying some food while mulling over what their next move should be. They had a falling out with their previous crew, and were on their own now. Uteki was eating a meat bun when she overheard something that nearly caused her to choke. There were rumors of a lot of powerful figures closing in on Wano, the island almost no one managed to visit. She regained her composure and motioned for Ai to follow her out of the pub. They both decided that if so many big shots were gathering, if they were to make a name for themselves, they would need to show up too.
It had been a few days since they set off for Wano. The plan to get on the island was simple. Sail close via boat, and then to make use of Uteki's devil fruit powers to fly the rest of the way. They had made it as close as they could via boat. Uteki latched onto Ai from behind as wings formed on her back. As the wings were normally meant for added mobility, the extra wait would limit their speed a bit but reaching the island wouldn't be an issue unless outside forces intervened.
"Keep an eye out. We're entering in an unexpected way, but there could still be someone watching the skies."
Ai would do just that. As Uteki was focused on the route they were traveling, Ai would keep an eye out for any unexpected annoyances.
The Journey of the Two Princes: Landayan of the North and Namor of the Deep
The radiant beam of the sunlight touched down the sea and spread its reflection throughout the vast horizon where the tiny waves dance as a rather small sail-less boat - about ten feet long with a beam of its tenth - cruises quite lightly. So light that dozens of seagulls would keep up as they hovered over the vessel, gawking constantly as if they were trying to serenade the two men aboard.
One of them, a quite tall, fair, and gentleman in his mid-thirties, lying his head on a sack of rice while his face is covered with a red leather hat. He was wearing a white, frilled dress shirt as well as his usual black dress pants and shoes; but keeping the collar of the shirt upturned and the first few buttons undone. Gambit, Prince of Hiraya.
The other one, sitting on a white bench attached to the deck and just in front of the metal stirring wheel. His skin is fair but his ears are similar to Gambit's, pointy. Surprisingly, his brushed-up air wouldn't flutter much amidst the breeze as they thread the sea. The sunlight reflects much more when it hit his black shiny scales attached to his two arms. To match his unique set of limbs, he wears boots and pants quite identical to it. Namor, Prince of the Sea.
"It's no ordinary ship...", the man lying spoke up as he slowly touched the edge of his hat to show his face. "Sails are no longer needed to propel that. See the trail of the boat on the sea? It signified that a machine is responsible for it. It's my new design. Someday, people will call it Light Cruise, like the way we're cruisin' right now."
"I don't need any of it. You do realize I am a merman and I can swim miles of ocean without even sweating.", Namor responded, bragging about his race.
"Last time I check, fish doesn't sweat.", Gambit mockingly answered.
"Last time I check, some group of fish saved your ass.", the other responded, gently tilting his head sidewards but just enough for Gambit to see him smirking.
"Well I-", Gambit's supposed to say something but was cut off.
"Look at those tides right there... One moment everything is calm, the next one, it's all like this... It's like the current is being thrown in all directions... And I'm telling you, it's not good for you 'Light Cruise'.
"Well. Let's just have a brief stopover here and fashion an idea of how to cross over.", Gambit decided.
Namor stopped the engine. And without thinking of any other ships coming or other hurdles, the Prince of the Fishes lift the boat's anchor, lowered it lightly into the water. As the boat started to drift backward with the wind, the anchor started moving down and away from the boat as it entered the water. Finally touching down the bottom and dug in, they set. "We're good."
Gambit rose up to his feet and gently drew a cigar off his pants' right pocket, lighting it up by scratching his index and thumb against each other before puffing in for three seconds. Breathing out the smoke, it quickly dispersed into the air. "I always dreamed of seeing ladies in Kimono. That's the reason we're here ...", he spoke in a molesting tone with a few moans in between the words. Quite unsettling for the other Prince's ears.
2. Death Scythe: 26 pts
Cane that turns into a sea-prism stone scythe with a crimson crystal at the heart of the entire blade. Whilst the Sea Prism serves as disabler and blade used in closed combat, the Crimson Crystal serves as an instrument to collect heat energy from an external source and then transform it into ice that can be launched at the opponent/s through the scythe itself, both damaging and incapacitating them. In simplistic terms, it can be compared to how air conditioning functions.

# Shaarib hated snow more than anything. Although he had numerous spies on the island, the Birman wasn't the best navigator and it showed. Wanting to land on Hakumai, he landed on Ringo. His goggles been so fogged up it took him time to realize his error. At least they were able to enter Kaido's territory. This country was isolated, a complete fortress. The government wanted no problem with the emperor. So much that when Sengoku heard about Shaarib's little detour he threatened to end his mission. The excuse Shaarib gave was that he wanted to test his powers and Kaido's people. In the worst case, he was going to join him and learn more about Joker and his trade. Unofficially, the only reason our hero came to Wano was because they were rumors saying you could learn how to read poneglyh here. This mission was important for him so he decided to bring only one of his children with him : Genjo. The grey haired ending was the companion Shaarib knew the longest and the fact that both fought using Rokushiki was going to hep if an eventual fight broke out.
Like most of the time, his moves weren't planned before hand. Before penetrating the capital of Wano, both needed to find local attires that will permit them to blend in. Shaarib could see that they crashed in a cemetery and hoped that they would find some cloth to steal before going out or even some food.#

The Koi Waterfall @Ichimonji@Sea
Unbeknownst or not to the Spada Pirates, there were only three days separating Kaido from setting sail personally, making this the perfect time to come to Wano and put some holes in Kaido's future. However, at the same time, it was also a risky time. The fact that the raging beast was backed into a corner, made him all the more dangerous. Furthermore, the fact that they were only three days away from setting sail, made it so that there was a lot of activity going around the ports in preparation, making Wano that much more alert and difficult to come into.
Through ingenuity and intimidation, the Spada Pirates managed to hook onto one of the massive Koi that were swimming up the waterfall, using their great might to have them pull up and into the waters that surrounded Wano. Once there, and based on their trajectory, the Spada Pirates were on track to hit the heart of Wano. The Flower Capital.
If they made it there, and whichever way and approach they employed, La Spada and Akira would eventually land. There, the effects of the severe drought would become apparent most rapidly. The Flower Capital was the richest part of Wano, the most prosperous part of Wano, and where the highest-ranked individuals of Wano's cast system lived. And yet despite that, even here, there was a severe lack of water. One could only imagine how the other parts of Wano looked. The soil was cracked from the drought, the bushes and trees that were once vibrant with life, were slowly dying and drying up. The streets were not as busy as one would imagine of the capital either. People did not have the energy to spare, and so they hid inside most of the day, instead of bringing life to the capital through a bustling trade. Avoiding the mid-day sun was part of it as well.
If La Spada and Akira walked the empty streets, they would come across a girl unconscious in the middle of the street. Her skin was dehydrated, and from afar, one would have difficulty figuring out whether the girl was still alive, or already a casualty of the drought. The Spada pirates had arrived at the heart of Wano, and there was barely a heartbeat.
Unbeknownst or not to Uteki and Ai, there were only three days separating Kaido from setting sail personally, making this the perfect time to come to Wano and put some holes in Kaido's future.
With wings of blood, Uteki and Ai approached Wano from the skies. That was a much easier and much more convenient way of doing it, compared to dealing with the strong currents and whirlpools surrounding Wano. However, flying was a luxury that not everyone was capable of tapping into. But, there was a risk to this approach, a risk that Uteki and Ai would both have to face right off the bat.
Unlike a ship sailing on the waters, there was no curvature of the planet. There was no horizon to hide behind and approach safely. Instead, they were out in the open sky, able to be see by any who looked far and intently enough. Wano and its current situation had three things that made Uteki and Ai's lives tough right now. It was an impenetrable fortress by nature. It was a fortress that was on edge and backed into a corner by a natural disaster. And it was a fortress that was home to ninja. Between those three factors, Uteki and Ai were just unlucky enough that the skies were being watched as well. But, that would not come to haunt the two women just yet. For now, they landed in Wano, their feet touching ground in Kuri. Unlike the Flower Capital, where the La Spada pirates would touch ground, Kuri was not prosperous at all. And if even the prosperous Flower Capital looked like a dying ghost town due to the drought, it was certain that Kuri would be that much more worse off. Cracked soil, powerful rays of sunlight beaming down, poisoned and polluted bodies of water that had no fresh steam of fresh water resurrecting them, it was a dying place. Disgusting smoke rolled out of the chimneys of the many weapons factories that had been set up in Kuri by Kaido, giving the air a distinct industrial smell that no normal person could learn to love.
Needless to say, it was all a mess that could break the hearts of any normal onlookers. The area where Uteki and Ai had landed, was home to a dying river. If Uteki and Ai followed downstream, they would eventually come across a young boy next to the river. He was in the process of gathering water. Further downstream was a small town called Okobore Town. Whether Uteki and Ai stopped to talk to the boy, or proceeded to the town, was up to them.
Unbeknownst or not to Gambit and his companion, there were only three days separating Kaido from setting sail personally, making this the perfect time to come to Wano and put some holes in Kaido's future.
The Prince of Pirates as he called himself, knew what the next chapter in his story had to be. Defeating Kaido, and making one more step toward the perpetually elusive title of King of Pirates. With those thoughts working Gambit's mind like an aphrodisiac, he set sail with his Fishman companion. The two had managed to make it all the way to the vicinity of Wano, but for now, they remained at sea. Perhaps taking a moment to salivate over kimono girls, or perhaps taking a moment to plan their invasion, whatever it was, Gambit and Namor were taking their sweet time. Little did they know, the first surprise for them was fast approaching. Well - not fast. Rather, slowly drifting their way. What looked like a ghost ship was approaching them from the left flank. The ship had the Beast Pirates' flag, but there was little life onboard from the looks of it.
Eventually, the ship would come close enough to Gambit's own, for the two men to see what was happening onboard. Bodies everywhere. There was no blood and no signs of struggle. There was no signs of a great battle at sea, and the ship itself as unharmed. And yet, bodies littered the deck. It was almost as if a disease had gripped hold of the crew onboard, and everyone had fallen one after another. If Gambit and Namor somehow stopped the drifting ship and got aboard, they would see, however, that it was no disease. And the bodies were still alive, just barely. Tongues and skin dried up, it was severe dehydration. With the story of Wano's great drought known to the whole world, two and two were easy to put together. This was likely one of Kaido's expedition ships that had set out to pillage neighboring countries for water. But, it seemed they were unsuccessful, and in their attempt to return back home, the dehydration had gotten the best of them, and they were now at death's doorstep.
Unbeknownst or not to Shaarib and his subordinate, there were only three days separating Kaido from setting sail personally, making this the perfect time to come to Wano and put some holes in Kaido's future.
When Shaarib and Genjo landed in Wano, they mistakenly landed in Ringo. Soon, copious amounts of snow were upon them as the endless white landscape spanned in front of them. Cold winds and perpetual snowstorms were a common thing in Ringo, and it became quickly evident that Shaarib and Genjo had not landed in the most hospitable of parts of Wano. They had the right idea. Approach aerially, land, get clothes to blend in with, and food to survive on. Unfortunately, there were no people in sight to take clothes from, and there was no food to be eaten. A wild beast could likely be found, but how to skin it and cook it and make it edible without any culinary knowledge, was anyone's guess.
The deadness of the snowy land lasted just long enough for those thoughts to creep into Shaarib and Genjo's minds. They were stuck in the middle of nowhere, and the situation wasn't good.
Just as those thoughts were settling in, finally something to go on. Off in the distance, a small flickering flame. One could barely see it though the snowstorm, but it was definitely possible to spot it. If Shaarib and Genjo looked closer, they would see a snow-white fox running around. The fox had a flickering flame for a tail, and it was headed somewhere. The two men had two options. Capture it and eat it, but with their lack of culinary knowledge, and with how small the fox was, that was a short-sighted idea. The second option was to follow the interesting fox, and see where it took them.

Standing in the capital of Kano country Kallavan was celebrating his victory over the land as the man usually did. Studying the enemy he had defeated and try to incorporate their tactics into his own to try and better himself. While not every enemy could add value to his repertoire fortunately the happo navy had a rather unique fighting style that was rather destructive. The Vice-Admiral was in the middle of his practice rounds as he shadowboxed an opponent. Dodging, weaving and launching some jabs here and there until an informant agent of the navy arrived with news. Kallavan upon noticing him would lower his stance and exhale deeply. " What's the news officer? My shore leave isn't over yet."
"My apologies Admiral! But this news comes straight from command HQ!" The messenger boy said as he gave Kallavan a sealed envelope.
With visible confusion Kallavan accepted the letter and opened it, normally they'd send such a thing over den den mushi why the secrecy. He wondered, however, the answer would come quickly.
"I understand. Tell the higherups that I'll set sail soon."
"Understood sir!" The boy saluted as he left quickly.
"It's finally time for Wano...I fear only two of us will not be enough."
Present day
Taking the most direct route through the waterfall koi Kallavan would eventually arrive on the shores of Wano. Travelling on a much smaller ship and with the most basic of crew. He'd venture on this mission on his own leaving Kanda and the others at the base for this mission was too much of a risk. While they certainly argued over it, in the end, they finally accepted the decision of their commander. Kallavan wore his civilian outfit which consisted of a basic black t-shirt and trousers. Leaving his trademark marine cap and cloak back at base no need to draw the entire Island to him from the start. As the man travelled up the waterfall his first order of business was to try and rendez-vous with Admiral Leo and see from there as to accomplish the mission.

Unbeknownst or not to Vice Admiral Kallavan, there were only three days separating Kaido from setting sail personally, making this the perfect time to come to Wano and put some holes in Kaido's future.
On orders of the higher-ups, Kallavan made his way to Wano. He left his subordinates behind, finding this particular mission to be above and beyond what they were currently capable of. A wise choice, for sometimes, numbers were not an advantage. This way, Kallavan could travel with a much smaller ship, move quicker, attract less attention, and never have to worry about anyone but himself - allowing him to move and act much more efficiently.
Climbing the Koi Waterfall, Kallavan transitioned from the outer seas to the sea surrounding Wano. From there, it was smooth sailing for a time. Before long, a port would come in sight. There were two ports in Hakumai, the area where Kallavan entered. One was Mogura Port, the only official port of Wano, and currently, it was very busy with people running all over the place, setting things up for Kaido to set sail. The other port was Habu Port, a port that was only maintained and used once a year for a specific trip. Luckily for Kallavan, he was sailing toward the latter. The former was busy, and would have attracted a lot of attention. But the latter, due to the nature of it being used only once a year, and now was not that part of year, the port was mostly abandoned. Normally, even when it was not ''that'' time of the year, the port would have a couple of dozen people around. But with the severe drought, all activities were cut down to the bare bone. A port like Habu Port had zero attention right now. Two men were stationed there, just to keep an eye out.
They were stationed in the lighthouse on the side of the port. One was resting, the other was standing, looking out of the lighthouse and toward sea. Both of them were visibly weakened and dehydrated, barely able to maintain their posts.
Kallavan's small ship entered the sight of the man on the lookout. Squinting his eyes, he took out a binocular to get a better look, while at the same time softly shaking the sleeping one with his foot.
Hey, wake up. There's a ship sailing toward us I think.
