La Spada Landfall! - #2

The Banshees announced the Spada Pirates’ pedantic landfall, announcing it to those nearby. The Styx docked, allowing the Captain, The Grim, to land on the soft white beach. The Styx sudden turned, it’s rowing system used to turn back. The Flagship of the Fleet of Tartarus would join its brethren, perhaps for the bombardment at La Spada’s signal.

La Spada looked upon the distance, her eyes in disgust of the colors, food buildings, and aroma.

[La Spada] “How disgusting. Such power, wasted on this foul showing. A wedding? Bah! Why don’t we make it a funeral instead? Kuahahahahaha!!”

The Grim cackled to herself. Clinking on her hip we’re her three Kitetsu blades, the most foul and evil swords in existence. Her cloak hid the large hook on one of her hands, crafted to fit the Aegis Shield. Last, but certainly not least, the aura that hung around the monster, bringing a harrowing feeling. It was so foul, the grass she walked on froze and withered away.

La Spada blew out a billow of smoke before walking to the town. It was recently The Grim had torn down Impel Down - her infamy had grown even more from Wano. Now witness the skeletal Death walking deliberately. Hung around her was a mist, along with the Chill of the Underworld. Spada’s silhouette was stark in the mist.

Awareness locked. La Spada sought a plaything. The invasion began.

Uteki's ship, if it could even be called a ship, given its meager size... Would soon reach the shore of the of the many smaller islands that made up Big Mom's territory; Whole Cake Island. She had no idea which of the islands she had made it to, but it was time to get a lay of the land. She would first close her eyes and focus her Mantra. Hoping to gleam some information from that before proceeding. After, she would quietly make her way forward. Not going in guns blazing, but not full stealth either. She simply proceeded with enhanced caution. She would try to figure out where whoever was in charge of the particular island she was on was located, and head to them. Knowing that whoever was to marry Yamato had to be someone with a certain degree of importance.

Death and calamity descended upon Potato Island. Wails of banshees foretold and announced what was coming. Those closest to the shores saw the Styx hit land, and a cloaked one descend. La Spada walked, disgusted by the colors and cheerful mood of Totto Land. For an individual of such power as Big Mom, to live in such flamboyant ways, made no sense to La Spada. She was, after all, true evil incarnate. A far cry of Big Mom, who, while intimidating and ruthless, merely wished and demanded the prosperity of her family. A cold mist latched itself onto La Spada as she walked, the grass around her boney feet freezing and dying with every step she took. A number of normal civilians, as well as Chess Soldiers and Homies, saw La Spada. The civilians started to back off, instinctively feeling that something bad was coming for them. However, the Chess Soldiers, unhuman in nature, did not display such fear quite yet. A group of 30 of them lined up, cutting off La Spada's advance. One of them shouted, inquiring La Spada's identity.

You there, stop! Who are you?!

The Chess Soldier asked, the lot of them propping up their weapons to show resistance to La Spada. With such a number of varied witnesses at the shores, some of them had already run away, and the rumors of a presence of a strange, imposing individual started to spread across Potato Island.

(Biscuit Island) @Sea

Akira, La Spada's right hand man, landed on Biscuit Island. There, an army was amassing, their role of safeguarding the wedding summoning them to duty. Akira's actions were not imposing, and so he did not garner immediate attention, like La Spada's grand, banshee entrance on Potato Island. Instead, he merely traversed Biscuit Island, walking toward the center. However, despite Akira's lackluster entrance, his appearance was anything but. A Raid Suit and a pair of wings, Akira was definitely not an ordinary man, and stood out immediately. His persona grabbed the attention of a certain man who was patrolling, supervising the mobilization of Biscuit Island. This man was Charlotte Opera, the fifth son and tenth child of Big Mom herself. A peculiar man in terms of looks, he was large in body. Spotting Akira, Opera walked up to the man, bringing him to a stop.

You there! I have not seen you before. Name yourself!

Opera demanded, towering over Akira.

Aboard the Ancient Weapon Mika, Sasaki bid farewell to Kallavan and transformed into a bolt of lightning, disappearing. He was off to Whole Cake Island. Mika came to a stop, now hovering in place high up above the clouds, in the air space of Whole Cake Island. It would not move from there for now, but it would continue to stay airborne - the amount of electricity provided by Sasaki more than enough to keep Mika going for days.

With Sasaki now gone, Kallavan decided it was time to get going as well. Walking up to the railing, Kallavan jumped atop it and looked down below. And then, he jumped. Cutting through the air, the Marine Vice Admiral started to pick up a lot of speed. Before long, he would clear the cloud filled layer and Whole Cake Island would come into view far down below.

The scene changed to the ground level. A rather remote part of Whole Cake Island, it was not a residential area. However, it was an important area nonetheless. A sweets factory was located there. What exactly it was that they produced there, was anyone's guess, but it was without a doubt important to this day, for the factory and its workers were working hard. Chess Soldiers, Homies, civilians, they were running in and out and about the factory, doing their work. Suddenly, a strong earthquake rocked the factory and its surrounding area. The intensity of the earthquake was strong enough to knock some individuals off of their feet. One Chess Soldier was shown dropping ingredients on the floor, and even an internal alarm started to sound inside the factory.

Outside, a good few hundred meters away from the factory, a massive crater had formed. A large dust cloud filled the atmosphere, but the air that was pushed out from the collision, started to roll back in, slowly but surely dissipating the obscurity. A number of Chess Soldiers rushed to the scene. Kallavan started to walk out of the crater and the dust cloud, and the Chess Soldiers were immediately on guard. One of them pressed a button on a device, though what that meant, or if Kallavan would eve notice it, was anyone's guess. What was certain, was that Kallavan had garnered a lot of attention immediately.

(Poripori Island) @tlgRen

Uteki, on her quest to save Yamato, arrived on Poripori Island. Her entrance, unlike the other three, was far from attention warranting. La Spada's grand warship hit the shores of Potato Island with the screams of banshees. Her right hand man, Akira, donned a Raid Suit of darkness and sprouted wings. Vice Admiral Kallavan transformed into his large dinosaur form and dropped onto the outskirts of Whole Cake Island like a meteor falling from the sky. Needless to say, those three events garnered attention, though it had not quite made its way to Big Mom yet. Uteki, on the other hand, warranted no attention. That is, for now. The other three making such a big fuss would undoubtedly bring trouble Uteki's way as well.

As she traversed Poripori Island, Uteki would see that everyone was quite busy, running around on errands, trying to do their part for the upcoming wedding. Suddenly, Uteki would be flung into the situation. While Uteki was walking the streets of the town, a woman suddenly called out to her.

Oi, you over there! Help us carry all of these!

If Uteki turned to see who was talking to her, she would see a slim, young looking woman of fair skin, brown eyes and short violet hair adorned with a flower. This was Charlotte Custard, the sixth daughter and sixteenth child of none other than Big Mom herself.

Having seen that Uteki was not busy or carrying anything around, Charlotte Custard asked her to help out. Whether Uteki obliged or not remained to be seen.

(Doughnut (I'm assuming that's Komugi) Island) @Toyo

Without a doubt, it was a chaotic day. Every individual in Totto Land was absolutely preoccupied with the preparations for the wedding, whether they were doing something to prepare the food and drinks for the wedding, organizing the wedding itself, or mobilizing to serve as guard for the wedding. Now, with La Spada hitting the shores of Potato Island, loud banshee wails accompanying her warship, while Marine Vice Admiral Kallavan, transformed into a large dinosaur, dropped onto the outskirts of Whole Cake Island like a meteor from the sky, it was without a doubt that the day would become even more chaotic than that. The territorial slugs were starting to cross communicate as well, and before long, the invasion of Totto Land would become known. However, riding absolutely under the radar of all of this, was Genji Nobunaga. A Marine Vice Admiral and a Fishman, Genji was able to approach Totto Land by swimming underwater. With great view of the waters, he was able to spot the territorial slugs, unlike everyone who sailed on the surface of the sea. And by spotting the territorial slugs, he was able to avoid them.

This situation made Genji a wildcard. With the chaotic day that was yet to turn even more chaotic, and the territorial slugs soon informing the Big Mom Pirates of everyone's approach, it was Genji alone who would be able to come to Whole Cake Island undetected.

How Genji would capitalize on his opportunity, remained to be seen. However, one thing that was certain, was that even if his presence was unknown, the fact that everyone else was making so much noise, would make his own infiltration that much harder as well.

Genji would reach Komugi Island, coming out of the water and onto the shores. He chose an empty, unoccupied and unimportant beach to do so, which served his purpose well. Through sheer coincidence, however, choosing this beach as his entrance point, would throw Genji onto a very peculiar patch. Right after Genji surfaced on the beach, an explosion would take place on the beach a good fifty meters away from Genji. The explosion would send a lot of sand up into the air. However when the sand scattered, the likely cause of the explosion would reveal itself. A crater, shaped like a paw imprint, was seen, and in the middle of the large paw imprint, was a large man. A Royal Shichibukai. Bartholomew Kuma.

*BANG*

The sound of a meteoric explosion. Kallavan, transformed into a dinosaur, descended onto the outskirts of Whole Cake Island like a meteor from outer space.

Sasaki, having transformed into a bolt of lightning, had by now landed on Whole Cake Island. He was sitting atop a boulder, listening. A master of Kenbun-shoku no Haki and an awakened user of the Goro Goro no Mi, Sasaki was able to pick up on electromagnetic waves, which allowed him to hear everything that was happening in Totto Land. The explosion that Kallavan had caused with his landing, was easy enough to hear, and so Sasaki did not miss it.

However, the sound that he picked up next, seemed to grab Sasaki's attention. The sound of banshee wails. It was a signature. Sasaki seemed to recognize it. How, however, was a mystery, for he had never met the woman of death. La Spada. When Sasaki heard the wails, a drop of sweat rolled down the side of his face. There was a visible, physical reaction to the fact that La Spada had arrived.

So she's here as well...

Sasaki said, standing up. Closing his eyes, Sasaki's monkey tail moved slightly. He started to focus to look for ''her''.

In the main palace of Whole Cake Island, Big Mom made her way to a large room. Opening the door, Big Mom walked through. With a large smile on her face, she walked across the room. There, there was a large bed. Laying atop the bed was Yamato. Her wrists and ankles were chained to the frame of the massive bed. Kairouseki. The chains were long enough for Yamato to move about comfortably, however she could not leave the room. Yamato, with a glare in her eyes, looked at Big Mom, who grinned.

Mamamamama... Ready Yamato? Today, you become part of my family. You better not have anything strange on your mind.

Big Mom said, looking at her future daughter in law. Yamato, angered by the situation, lashed back.

Being part of Kaidou's family... or part of your family. I can't decide which is worse.

Yamato said. A look of anger and rage dawned onto Big Mom's face. She would not have this day ruined.

Potato Island - #3

The thick mist hung around Death, only allowing an outline to be seen. An outline of a cloak approaching closer, beset with an aura foul. There was no stealth. There was no clandestine arrival. Landfall with the banshee’s call and confidence. Wano had changed everything. Hate turned into a challenge. Challenge turned to fate. Who better than to take the mantle of Empress?

Chess soldiers cut off the way of the mist. Weapons drawn. The figure stopped. Through the mist, one could see the eerie figure taking a puff of her cigar, her rotting teeth clad in a grin.

Who was she, they asked. The answer was quick and thick.

[La Spada] “Death.”

Suddenly, those deliberate pearl black eyes widened. A light erupted from those cold eyes. A light that was birthed from the mist in the shape of a will indomitable. Chosen by the heavens. The spirit zoomed through the chess soldiers with that foul will. Such foul that any plants nearby would wither. Spirit to overbear all but one, the first Chess Soldier.

By the time the single Chess soldier looked around at his brethren falling and looked back at the mist again, the figure was gone. Suddenly, the cold came from behind. The imposing figure was behind, eyes glowing. The demon’s tail attempted to wrap around the Chess Soldier’s neck from behind, turning him towards her. Citizen spectators would be witness.

La Spada would pull the soldier eye-level, squeezing enough to almost choke but not kill. Closer inspection revealed a skeletal face, maggots slithering, and a foul stench. A stench that grew as The Grim opened her mouth.

[La Spada] “Tell me, worm. Where and when is tha’ filthy wedding? I’m afraid I have a gift that needs delivered. Kuhahahaha!“

A loud rumble took whole cake island by surprise. And in hindsight, it might've been smarter to go into the island with a bit more finesse. But Kallavan didn't worry about such things. He was confident, headstrong and had sunk his teeth in his major objective. It wouldn't take long before a number of chess soldiers surrounded the crater, their defences were up as they wondered who had crash landed on their island. Especially today, of all days. Or perhaps they expected it. However, they were not prepared for the monster that'd arrive from behind the dust curtain.

Step by step, the being would draw closer to them. And they could feel an enormous presence radiating from this single individual. And eventually he'd come in full view, a marine's cloak on his shoulders and a black beret on his head. The man was already aware that the chess soldiers had him in their sights, they did not speak and had pushed a peculiar button. This last act went unnoticed by Kallavan. But the man would respond to this welcome committee. With each step he took, the aura radiating from the man became more and more unbearable to the point that it was suffocating, the amount of pressure that came from him was exhausting.

Eventually he'd arrive at one of the chess soldiers and looked one of them dead in the eye. Several of them were most likely dropping to the ground, as they could not withstand this man's presence for very long.

"Where is Kaido, bean sprout?" Kallavan asked with authority as the pressure reached its ceiling and only one of the soldiers would be spared. He had to receive information, after all.

The boy continues to walked towards the centre of the island, but eventually his presence is finally known as a man made of what seems to be this cream-colored slime-looking man. A being of unknown origins, but enough for Akira to expect something. Who is he? The boy has no idea. But the authoritative tone he carries should signify someone of importance in this island at the very least. The man called him out, asking for his identity as a stranger, but would not be met with any response as Akira merely stood in silence – the boy is merely observing his surroundings, after all, for anyone just randomly walking around like this perhaps he might not be alone. Akira did not attack either, wanting to see who the man truly is before he would act upon the information.

With the man left disregarded essentially, the boy knew that the man would not likely stand for it, the disrespect would spur the man further into action, if not more provocation. But the boy would rather take out everyone at once if he could – the less pirates in this island, the better it is. For now, the boy would continue to walk closer, but similarly kept his slow pace. He would walk as close as he can before the man up till there’s only a metre or two between Akira and Opera, further provoking and taunting him in silence. The eerie, dreadful armour would likely serve to further antagonize the man even without the boy doing anything. Fear is a powerful tool, and the boy would aim to use it to bring about despair to the Big Mom Pirates.

Present Day - The shore of Komugi Island

Genji made it past the surveilance snails undeteced and went ashore at a deserted beach. Just when he was wringing out his marine coat, an explosion was happening no half football field away from him. Out of reflex he was jumping back for a good few meters and landed in a classic karate pose. The explosion had created a huge dust cloud, which first only showed a huge silhuette inside it. When it cleared a huge man was shown standing inside a crater that looked like a paw. Genji looked in shock first. It was Bartholomew Kuma, one of the Royal Shichibukai. With a pearl of sweat running down his cheek, Genji eased himself and casually walked towards the hulking man. Shichibukai were allies of the marine. At least they were supposed to be.

Genji: "Bartholomew Kuma! What are you doing here? I was not informed, that you would be part in this mission!"

Genji would be alerted still. Shichibukais had a tendency to wreak more havoc than good. Despite Kuma's "transformation" into a pacifista, Genji would not trust him.

Genji: "Also I tried to be a bit more covert here, I believe your 'trick' may have been noticed by someone!"

La Spada, shrouded in the chill of the underworld, was confronted by the Chess Soldiers. They did not know who La Spada was, but they could feel the evil emanating from her. They knew she was trouble. One of the Chess Soldiers took out a Den Den Mushi and attempted to get in contact with the Big Mom Pirates, but before the soldier could do so, La Spada acted. A wave of Conqueror's Haki erupted from the deathly woman, sweeping through the ranks of Chess Soldiers. Their eyes went blank, and one by one, they start to fall to the ground - their wills so overpowered that they lost consciousness. La Spada did not have to lift a finger. Suddenly, the one shrouded in the chill of the underworld was gone, and she appeared behind the only remaining Chess Soldier that was conscious. Her tail swept the Chess Soldier off of his feet, pulling him up into the air and turning him around to face La Spada. With death in her eyes and a grin most vicious, La Spada spoke, demanding the time and place of the wedding.

E-evil woman! I shall tell you nothing! But know this... Mama treasures these weddings. Only one man has ever interrupted one of her weddings and lived to tell the tale!

The Chess Soldier proclaimed, though La Spada was unlikely to falter. The Chess Soldier continued to struggle, trying to escape from the death grip. But there was no fear in his eyes. A brave little soldier.

(Biscuit Island) @Sea

While La Spada was busy trying to find out the time and place of the wedding, Akira was trying to strike from a different point. On Biscuit Island, he walked, observing his surroundings. One of Big Mom's sons, Opera, saw the strange man, immediately calling him out. Akira was not one to fit in with his Raid Suit and webbed wings. Opera demanded to know who Akira was, but to no avail. The assassin of the La Spadas simply walked toward Opera, getting closer and closer. A provoking move. Opera, the son of the monarch of Totto Land, would not have this provocation. With an angry look on his face, Opera shouted.

I have asked you a question, stranger!

Opera said, pointing the palms of his hands toward Akira. Suddenly, from Opera's hands, a large wave of a strange white substance was unleashed, aiming to engulf him. Simultaneously, from the rest of Opera's body, much more of the strange white substance kept getting release, covering the street quickly.

Cream Monster...!

Seeing the fight happening on the street, civilians and everyone else backed off. Whispers started to be heard among the crowd, asking what was going on. One of the Chess Soldiers in the area took out a Den Den Mushi, making a call.

(Whole Cake Island) @QuickZilver708

Not by choice but by pure coincidence, the Navy officers were working very compatibly. Sasaki, who was able to overhear conversations all over Totto Land, was able to approach while avoiding any problems. Genji, a Fishman, was able to approach without getting spotted by the territorial slugs in the waters around Totto Land. Kallavan, on the other hand, arrived with a huge bang. This would focus all attention on him, while easing Sasaki's and Genji's movements. A good way to approach things, though, once again, a pure, uncoordinated coincidence.

Kallavan, having transformed into a large and heavy bodied dinosaur, dropped onto the outskirts of Whole Cake Island like a meteor from outer space. He crashlanded in the vicinity of a sweets factory, which was shook to its core by his landing. Alarms went off inside the facility while Chess Soldiers swarmed the area of the crashlanding a few hundred meters away. Spotting the crater, the Chess Soldiers were immediately on guard. When Kallavan walked out, they bared their bladed weapons against him, but he was undeterred.

Unleashing a great amount of intensity, perhaps Conqueror's Haki, Kallavan challenged the wills of the Chess Soldiers. Needless to say, the results were the same as La Spada on Potato Island. The wills of the Chess Soldiers were squashed and crushed, and only one was left standing. Luckily, the call had gone out just prior.

Kallavan confronted the remaining Chess Soldier, asking him about the whereabouts of Kaidou. Kallavan's pressure was increased to the maximum limit, and the Chess Soldier barely stood his ground. However, the pressure exerted did not matter. Even if the Chess Soldier were to crumble under the pressure, he did not know of Kaidou's whereabouts. He knew Kaidou was in Totto Land, but where exactly, was not public information. The Chess Soldier, tightening the grip on his weapon, shouted, lunging toward Kallavan.

I do not know. Now leave our home, stranger!

The Chess Soldier said, leaping toward Kallavan. If he got in range, he would stab forward with his sword, aiming to impale Kallavan. He was not welcome here.

The information that one of the Chess Soldiers had sent, however, was now received. A call for help. Depending on how much haste Kallavan left the area with, he was potentially in for a violent welcoming party.

(Komugi Island) @Toyo

Genji, as he was wringing out his Marine Coat, was surprised by a large blast in the vicinity. A paw shaped crater was noted on the beach, and walking out of the crater was a figure that any Marine would know. The former King of Sorbet Kingdom, the former pirate known as the ''Tyrant'', and now a Royal Shichibukai, Bartholomew Kuma. Genji walked over toward the much taller, hulking Kuma, and spoke, asking him what he was doing here. Genji, nor the rest of the Marines, were notified of Kuma coming here. Whether that information was left out on purpose, or Kuma came here of his own volition, was anyone's guess. Kuma turned toward Genji, looking down at him, towering. In his usual emotionless tone, Kuma spoke, holding his signature bible book close to his body.

Marine Vice Admiral Genji Nobunaga.

Kuma said, acknowledging and recognizing Genji.

I am here to talk to a certain man.

Kuma said, before turning away and walking away. He was a strange man. An enigma. A mystery. He did not talk much. But he was intense. Whether Genji shrugged him off and continued on his own, or decided to follow him, was a choice to be made.

@Ichimonji (you can pick me up from here, thanks!)

Don't think yourself too important, brat.

You are a piece in a larger game. A game for world domination. You better play your part.

Big Mom said. This time, she did not laugh like she usually does. Big Mom was being serious. She would not have this kid lashing out or doing whatever she wanted. She did not care for Yamato. They would be family in name only. The purpose was an alliance with Kaidou. Yamato would grit her teeth. She despised this situation. She sought to be free, that was a dream of hers under the iron fist rule of her father, the strongest man in the world, Yonkou Kaidou. And now, she was anything but free. Suddenly, another voice joined the conversation.

My oh my... such a beauty. Held prisoner by an old hag.

The voice said, belonging to a man. Big Mom started to look around, trying to find the man. However, before she could find him, a cluster of lightning suddenly formed above Big Mom. From the cluster of lightning, a bolt of lightning was unleashed, engulfing Big Mom. Yamato's eyes widened in shock. An attack on Big Mom, right in the heart of Totto Land. Whole Cake Island. Surely no one could have gotten this close to Big Mom unnoticed. Was it a traitor within the family?

Inside the bolt of lightning, Big Mom swung her arm, blasting the lightning away and dispersing it. Big Mom was unharmed, but the attack was mostly to grab attention anyway. Walking out of the shadows was Marine Vice Admiral Sasaki.

Pleased to meet you, Charlotte Linlin.

Sasaki said with a smile on his face. Suddenly, having heard the commotion, the door to the room was burst open and two of Big Mom's Homies came flying in. The fire Homie, Prometheus, and the thundercloud Homie, Zeus. Big Mom, towering over Sasaki, confronted the man with a furious grin on her face.

Mamamama, what's a government fly doing in my home? A death wish?

Komugi Island

Kuma greeted Genji by simply stating his name, looking expressionless, as was expected by a giant cyborg. Genji had so far only heard reports and rumors about the Shichibukai. Kuma said that he had to talk to a certain man and simply walked on, without waiting for any response. Genji's eye twichted for a bit. He still did not know what Kumas mission was. He followed Kumas lead and simply began to walk besides him. After all, apart from finding the island, Genji had no clue on how to draw out or find Katakuri anyways.

Genji: Who exactly do you need to talk to?

As Uteki walked the streets she saw everyone dashing back and forth. Likely they were desperately trying to accomplish various chores and tasks for the approaching wedding. She was momentarily glad for it. As she thought it would afford her the chance to go about unnoticed. However, she was wrong. Someone called out to her. It was a woman's voice. When Uteki turned to look at her, she did not recognize her but given her demeanor it was easy enough to guess that she was one of Big Mom's daughters. She decided to play along for now. She quickly nodded her head in agreement and went to help carry what she was asked to.

"Where do these need to be delivered to?"

She would use this chance to explore some places she might not have been able to with her new responsibility of helping out Custard. She would first prioritize sticking close to Custard to eavesdrop and learn as much as she could about the most efficient way to stop the wedding without signing her death certificate.

Potato Island - #4

The Grim Reaper had arrived, taken souls with her mere breath. Pulling the remaining Chess Soldier to her eyes, La Spada lobbied a threat. The Chess Soldier struggled and spoke. As he did, La Spada felt something different. Unlike a normal being, the soul she felt within him was different, almost foreign. Certainly not a being she recognized. La Spada knew well of the Soru’s ability, as a DF Fruitology, but this gave a a glance unhindered.

The Soldier refused to speak. The Grim slew a grin.

[La Spada] “I was hoping yah’ would say that. Kuhahahahah!”
With a mad cackle, the Grim’s eyes glowed deathly green. Her soul ejected, transplanting into the Chess Soldier, leaving a sliver of consciousness in the takeover. The screams of the soldier would echo, as the soldier felt his body taken over, being eaten from within. The soldier’s body would gurgle, slowly freezing until it exploded in a fountain of blood and ice, like a chipped ice figurine.

La Spada came back to her body, her green eyes turning to the remaining citizens who were spectators, addressing them with cut sarcasm.

[La Spada] “I suggest yah’ point me at the right direction or tell me who this ‘person’ who survived is, yah’ monkeys. As of yet, I haven’t decided to kill all of yah’, but I’m real close. Speak, before its too late.“
[La Spada] “Please, it would ease mah’ conscience knowing that I spared one of you. Kuahahahaha!”

A sarcastic demeaning statement. The buildings around her cracked, her will going wild. La Spada would raze the town if she did not get her way.

Kallavan's application of king's haki was like a hydraulic press. Pushing down on everyone, safe for one individual who was left conscious, so they could answer his question. Sadly, however, this little chess soldier was unaware of Kaido's whereabouts and Kallavan was inclined to believe. The brave little soldier afterwards channelled all of its courage for a single strike at the Vice-Admiral. Kallavan looked at the soldier approaching as they inched closer and closer, it felt like an eternity for the young commander. But finally the soldier was there, swinging its weapon with all its might, aiming to impale this high ranked officer of the sea.

Unfortunately, it'd go as well as one would expect this scenario to go.

The metal would clash and was almost immediately stopped in its tracks. The soldier would look upon a fate most grim and shocking. What had stopped the soldier's approach and attack was nothing more than the Admiral's finger. Coated with invisible haki. It was all he needed to stop their approach. The Admiral's eyes, still serious and determined, would finally shift and looked at the soldier.

"I applaud your conviction. But it is a futile one." Kallavan would say, impressed by the chess soldier.
"Remember this white coat. Engrave it into your mind. For today the balance shall crumble. At the hands of the Government."

The Vice-Admiral said with lasting words as he unleashed the full force of his haki towards this young soldier and most likely putting him down towards the ground. Kallavan would lower his arm and would begin to walk forward. He had to find someone of rank on this island. Otherwise, finding Kaido might've become a more difficult task than he anticipated. But he'd do so without haste.

Let them come to him. He thought.

The silence from the boy continues, but he managed to provoked the man into action. Questions went unanswered and the man become frustrated at the silence. Opera would shout, using his Devil Fruit, or at least presumed to be – to flood and engulf the boy as the man questions the boy once more. The white slimy substance would start to cover the boy’s feet, or in this case talons. But the boy continues to kept his silence, allowing Opera to do what he wanted for just a moment, and then the boy finally moved.

Swinging his large wings towards the front like a clap, the boy suddenly generated a large powerful wind gale right in front of him, aiming to blow away all the substance Opera has generated. The wind gale is powerful, shredding away even hard objects like rocks. With this singular move, the boy aims to blow Opera away, and shred away all the substances, enough for the boy to move with ease again.

“Are you in-charge of this island?”

The boy finally spoke, his legs moving to ensure that he isn’t stuck to the cream-like substance. This time rather than being questioned, the boy spoke in a far more menacing yet cold tone. He would be the one asking the questions. And he would stop at nothing to get his answers. A dangerous thought would appear across the boy’s mind. Opera would not want to be involved in the boy’s thoughts.

Name: Wind Gale
Rank: B (True Hybrid) | A (Hybrid/Beast)

Meeting Big Mom #1
@kakashi19283

Whole Cake Palace
In the highest room, in the highest tower, was a princess waiting to be rescued. True love‘s kiss would save her from the curse. Or some such babble. Chained and promised to be wed, Yamato was the bride. Big Mom assured her on her place, before a stranger made his way into the tower. Pushing the attack away, the stranger, pleased to meet thee, stood in front of an Emperor.

A fly, so Big Mom called the man in a Marine coat. Her brow burrowed, shadow on her face, and aura rising.

[Big Mom] “MAMAMAMAMAMA! DO YOU KNOW WHAT TODAY IS?! YOU DARE COME AT MY DOOR?! YOUR HEAD WILL LOOK GREAT ON TOP OF THE CAKE!”

The Emperor’s eyes grew red, a shadow came upon her face, A thick aura swept through the tower. So thick, it would crack the ground. Supreme Haki that would make even Sasaki quiver. This was not a response of a well-adjusted individual. Prometheus and Zeus shined with lightning and fire, growing bigger and casting a perilous shadow on Sasaki. Big Mom displayed killing intent, one that could make whole armies turn tail and run. Big Mom rose her hand with intent.

[Big Mom] “TIME TO D-”

Suddenly, a bell interrupted Big Mom’s threats.

In came two carts, one with small pieces of food and sweets, and another cart with various teas. The butlers comically placed a table between Big Mom and Yamato, coincidentally putting Sasaki on the other end. Sasaki may believe he is fast, but the speed in which these butlers set up a table and filled it with sweets, appetizers, and teas, was faster than lightning. Truly, masters of catering.

Yamato was hustled out of the room by one of Big Mom’s higher butlers, applying make-up on her as they went - on the way to a dress rehearsal. As quick as they came, the butlers left. Big Mom‘s hand was comically left above her head, almost in shock. Promethus and Zeus looked at each other awkwardly.

[Big Mom] “THE FOOD TASTING IS HEREEEEEEE! MAMAMAMAMA!!!! WHAT A SPREAD!!!!”

Big Mom had sat down, her tongue flapping with saliva, eyes whirling. Out of nowhere, streamers, balloons, confetti, and other such kid things erupted in the room, giving a true ambiance to the room. An Emperor quelled by sweets. Comically, Prometheus and Zeus backed away slowly, awkwardly. Big Mom pointed at Sasaki and then at one of the open seats, munching on the first cake sample piece, grabbing her teacup.

[Big Mom] “Well?! Sit down for the TASTING! Tell me which one you like best for the wedding!“

A comical descending bass line echoed. Awkward. Had Big Mom forgotten who Sasaki was and did? Tea Party!

The Chess Soldier struggled about in La Spada's grip. Death itself posed a question to him, but would not answer, and he would not falter. A bright flash of light engulfed La Spada and the Chess Soldier, and she started to eat his soul. When La Spada was done, the Chess Soldier erupted. Absolute Death. The grip of the underworld. More Chess Soldiers, and even some civilians, had come to the area, trying to verify the rumors that were already spreading. They looked on in absolute horror, seeing the gruesome death of the Chess Soldier in La Spada's grip. A calamity had hit their shores. The civilians started to run away and full on panic consumed the shores of Potato Island. However, within the panic, the loud, proud, booming and powerful voice of one man could be heard.

Panic, panic, panic! What a scene! My oh my... what do we have 'ere...

Walking through the escaping crowd was a man of tall stature.

You there... you dare wreak havoc in our home?! I, the 25th son and 44th child of the Charlotte Family, SNACK, will stop you!

Snack said, unsheathing his sword. Wielding it in his right hand, the man stopped a good 10 or so meters away from La Spada.

Akira, completely out of place both in terms of his look and his demeanor, was quickly confronted. And the man who confronted him was none other than a son of Big Mom's. Demanding to know who Akira was, a question that went unanswered, struck a nerve with Opera. He unleashed a wave of a strange white substance as it quickly started to fill the area. The white substance flooded Akira's feet. Surprisingly, the assassin, who should be careful in nature, had let his guard down.

The cream would start to burn his feet, or rather talons. It was not heat, it was the sugar in the cream. As such, even if a man had resistance to heat, this would not save them. Truly an underhanded ability of Opera's Kuri Kuri no Mi.

Akira flapped his wings, creating a powerful gust of wind. The wind would blow away the cream that was spreading, flinging it all over. Opera himself was blown away, but came stumbling to a stop a distance away. Akira posed a question, asking whether Opera was in charge of this island.

And if I am?

Opera said, not giving out any information. He would not play the man's game. The cream that had been flung all over, started to crawl back toward the center of the street. More and more cream continued to be produced by Opera, once again flooding the street. Crouching down, Opera sunk the palm of his right hand into the cream. From the flooding cream, multiple tendrils suddenly lashed out, aiming to grab onto Akira's ankles, abdomen, hands and wings.

Cream Kraken!

Kallavan, a Navy officer who was without a doubt an intimidating man, questioned the Chess Soldier, but the little one had a conviction greater than his small body could host. He did not give up nor give in, and Kallavan saw that there was no thread to continue on here. Exerting a great amount of pressure, Kallavan had knocked everyone in the area out, and the little Chess Soldier now joined everyone else as well. With no lead, Kallavan would now have no choice but to simply walk Whole Cake Island aimlessly, until he stumbled onto something. Fortunately, it did not come to any of that. Walking into the scene from the area to Kallavan's left was a man. His hands pocketed, the man spoke aloud, loud enough to summon Kallavan's attention.

Who do we have here?

The man said, puffing a cigar. If Kallavan looked over, he would see none other than a familiar face.

A face familiar to any Marine. A man belonging to one of the worst generation. Capone Bege.

You've made a mess here.

How would Kallavan react to the appearance of this man? A man that should not be here. What was he doing on Whole Cake Island?

(Poripori Island) @tlgRen

Uteki, blending into the population of Poripori Island, was walking around, until she was called onto. The woman who called over to Uteki was none other than Charlotte Custard, a daughter of Big Mom. Custard asked Uteki to help out, carrying stuff around. Uteki, not wanting to stand out, decided to go along with the twist in events. Grabbing something, Uteki asked where to bring it. Custard looked at her with a confused look on her face, answering the question.

The main kitchen, obviously?

Custard said, eyeing Uteki. Narrowing her eyes, Custard started to wonder.

Hmm... I feel like you're out of place. What's your name?

Custard inquired. Things started derailing for Uteki. Whether it was her demeanor, her appearance, or just her energy, she somehow didn't fit into Totto Land. And Custard could feel it.

(Komugi Island) @Toyo

The Royal Shichibukai, Bartholomew Kuma, had answered to Vice Admiral Genji. He had explained why he was in Totto Land - to talk to someone. The answer was dry, almost as if Kuma had to acknowledge the questioning of a Vice Admiral, but he didn't really want to say too much. And so he answered with as little information as possible. And then, he walked off. Certainly, Kuma was a tough man to deal with, and aggression was out of the question as well - for he was incredibly strong. And so, Genji, dissatisfied with the information that he had been given, decided to pursue further.

As Kuma was walking away, Genji caught right up to him, asking him further. Who was it that Kuma had to talk to? The large man came to a stop and looked down at Genji. Once again, those cold, stoic eyes. Little to no personality whatsoever. Kuma spoke.

If you want to come with me, then I will oblige.

Kuma said, taking the glove off of his left hand. On the palm of his hand was an animal paw. Kuma started to bring the paw closer to Genji, as if intending to touch him. How Genji would react to this was anyone's guess, but he was in a tough situation no doubt.

Charlotte Linlin, also known as one of the Yonkou. Big Mom. Sasaki, also known as the Monkey King. One of the Navy's Vice Admirals. For two such people to meet was unprecedented, especially for a meeting unplanned, for Sasaki, uninvited, in the heart of Totto Land - Whole Cake Island. The whole situation was hard to believe. Needless to say, it was normal for Big Mom to react the way she did. A look of utter anger, her fury showing in her two Homies, who grew larger and more intimidating with every passing second. Sasaki still had a smile on his face, and he didn't seem too worried, which was odd given the situation. He was only a Vice Admiral. No match for a Yonkou.

Big Mom announced Sasaki's head would look great on a cake, and was about to take the Vice Admiral out. However, before she could do so, the door to the room suddenly burst open, and caterers rushed in, propping a setup of sweets and tea inbetween Big Mom, Yamato and Sasaki. Yamato was rushed out of the room to get ready for the wedding, while both of Big Mom's Homies, Prometheus and Zeus, awkwardly backed away.

Big Mom was distracted immediately by the sweets and tea in front of her, and her demeanor changed completely. From the vicious Emperor that was about to take out a Marine, to a laughing old lady enjoying tea time. A drop of sweat rolled down the side of Sasaki's face. Perhaps there were some nerves after all - but the smile was there. He sat down and grabbed a slice of cake. Despite his age, this was the first time he found himself in such a situation. What was he to do? Let Big mom eat? He was there to discuss something.

Charlotte Linlin...

Sasaki said, as if to grab Big Mom's attention away from the cakes, so that he could talk.

I am here to talk to you about a certain pirate...

Kallavan would move ahead, wandering aimlessly in the search for Kaido, the man whom he had to defeat to regain his honour. It wasn't long until a voice called out to the Vice-Admiral. The young commander would turn his head upon hearing the words that'd grab his attention. However, at that moment a sharp pain would move through his head accompanying an equally sharp pitch of sound. In the back of his mind, a woman cackled with madness.
[La Spada] “Kuahahahahaahahaha!!!!”
[La Spada] “Yah’ soul is no different from those who made you and your parents suffer as a child.
The laugh would turn into the voice of Spada forcing him to remember the day she manipulated his soul. Memories would resurface and ever since that day, Kallavan had received these headaches. It was as if his mind and body were at war within himself. One was trying to say something while the other resisted with all its might. Eventually the pirate her voice would be reduced to almost static, but from beyond that static a voice called towards the commander. A voice he did not recognize, nor could he link a face to it.

Kallavan! You've made a mess here!

The one that called to him in reality was Capone, but the supernova had called unto him during one of his frequent episodes. From Kallavan's point of view he saw someone else for a fraction of a second. It was a dark shade with no distinct features, but it was human. It'd vanish as quickly as it came, finally allowing Kallavan to address Capone's arrival. The one who had been standing to the Admiral's left for a few moments now. The previous exchange: Spada's voice, the shade, the unknown voice. All took place in Kallavan's mind. Something that happened ever since he returned from Wano. But this time it was a first, that it exceeded regular headaches. Just what did that woman unlock?

"Capone "Gang' Bege." Kallavan spoke softly who kept his inner turmoil to himself. Besides moving his hand to his ear reflexively, Bege would be none the wiser to the ailment that plagued the admiral.
"I figured you to be the type that keeps himself to the shadows. So either you're here to offer me something or you're on a suicide run. What'll it be, Terror of the west?" Kallavan continued revealing his knowledge surrounding Bege's past.

Kallavan while waiting for a reply from the Maffia boss would furrow his brow and returned to thought.
Ever since that day it's as if my soul is trying to reveal something to me. But something else is blocking this from happening. What on earth could it be? It started as simple headaches and now I'm seeing ghosts and shades. Why does it have to escalate now, of all places?!

Potato Island - #5

The Grim Reaper made her way to Potato Island. She sought information about the fabled wedding. A wedding she would ruin with Big Mom on a stick. Chess Soldiers first stood in her way, now gone. A massacre that drew the attention of more. One in particular. From the candy-looking buildings came one. One who introduced himself as Snack.

La Spada turned to him, licking the soldier’s blood off her boney finger. The Grim sized the large man up and down, hearing the name he proclaimed himself. Charlotte Snack. La Spada slew her infamous grin upon those words. The Empress knew who he was, most did: $600,000,000 Beri Commander of the Big Mom Pirates. He, however, did not seem to know who she was.

[La Spada] “How refreshing. Anothah’ fool. Commander-level. Perfect. Yah’ will tell me where tha’ wedding is. Or die. Or both. Kuahahaha!”

La Spada exhaled, billowing smoke. An aura of confidence exuded. She would have the Commander give her the information she sought. What better way than to take it on his death-bed, She was to embarrass him; Snack was the key to the wedding. First, she would destroy his spirit. The Commander had drawn his sword, drawing a distinct reaction from La Spada: amusement.

With a maddening chuckle, La Spada presented her boney right hand.

[La Spada] “Observe. My right hand…it’s strength alone is enough to crush you like the little bug you are, so as a special one time bonus, today, I will fight you while my other hand is behind my back.“
[La Spada] “So now that we’ve got the ground rules settled, shall we begin?”

La Spada had brought her left hand, her hooked hand, behind her back. She would fight him with one hand. The belittlement. The degradation. Snack was beneath his level. A bug. She would break his spirit in front of the town he lorded over. The Empress drew her Sandai Kitetsu, her weakest blade, and lowered it. Her killing intent grew thick.

Slowly, the Grim walked towards Snack, yawning.
