Facing the Emperors - #24
@kakashi19283

Whole Cake Island: Palace Tower
The Sky split. Big Mom and Sasaki clashed, causing the very sky to sever. The aura spreading the area was thick and strong. Everywhere, all meshed together like a dancing team. Sasaki ordered Zeus, who, now shaking off his shock, flew away from Big Mom. Kaido, who had turned into hybrid form, had landed in the ruins of the towers’ roof, holding a figure. Killer were nowhere to be found nor was Yamato. The air was thick with metal, now heated with Kaido’s Bolo breath.

Kaido, now showing to hold a bleeding and burnt Kid, tossed the man like a rag doll towards Sasaki. Kid changed directions quickly, passing by Zeus, only grazing the cloud with his hand. Kaido had turned to Sasaki, gripping his kanano.

[Kidd] “Right where I want you both. ASSIGN!!"
Suddenly, Kaido’s body moved by itself. Suddenly, Zeus moved by himself. Assigning magnetism by touch, Kid had made Kaido and Zeus attract. Violently, at speeds and power fearsome (120 DF), both Kaido and Zeus were sent to each other, destined to stick together. The dragon did not flinch. Using a cloud, he regained footing and pulled his bagua back. Using the immense speed by Kid, Kaido swung down, purple lightning and suffocating haki coarsing through it, to tear though Zeus if unhindered.

Kaido sought Sasaki’s body whole.

[Kaidou] “You tweeps! I’ll end you all! RAGNAROK!!!”

Big Mom had relocated high above all. She laughed as Kaido and Zeus were drawn to each other. She would have revenge. Her voice boomed.

[Big Mom] “Zeus! I will take my soul back! You disobeyed me! I brought you into this world, and I will take you out!”
[Big Mom] “Now my dears… make it rain!”

Big Mom held in her hands all her homies. They combined with their mouths and roared. Flame. Thunder. Blade. All surrounded by Big Mom’s terrible will. Taking the sky, blanketing the area with the tower in the middle, came down black and glowing lasers. They came down like rain, incessant and together, seeking to take all below her, Yonko or not. Directed by her power, these would not miss. The sheer number and incessant rain would pour dozens and dozens to each.

This was madness. Madness of power.

(this, but with lasers)

Assign (literally meaning "Assignment"): Kid touches a foreign object or person and thereby turns them highly magnetic. Specifically, Kid assigns a magnetic polarity to a given target, signified by him saying either S (Sエス Esu?) for South or N (NエヌEnu?) for North, and the magnetized object/subject displaying the respective letter somewhere on its/their surface.[12] Targets with different assigned poles will then be drawn into one another with immense force until sticking together.

[OCC] You can control Zeus from now on.

Zeus responded to Sasaki's words, flying up toward Kaidou. Kaidou's massive, serpentine body was no more. He now stood at the top of the tower, holding Eustass Kid in his hands. Kid was bloodied and charred from Kaidou's attack, but he himself was a powerful pirate in his own right, and was undoubtedly alive. Kaidou hurled Kid down toward Sasaki and Zeus, who were flying at an upward trajectory toward the top of the tower. Sasaki and Zeus avoided Kid narrowly, continuing their upward flight. It was in that moment that Kid shouted, taking Sasaki and Zeus by surprise. Kid assigned magnetic properties to both Kaidou and Zeus, causing the two to attract one another and fly toward one another rapidly. The power of an awakened Paramecia. Sasaki grimaced, realizing that a forced head on clash against Kaidou was coming. He readied himself for that eventuality, which would come moments later.

Sasaki's monkey tail reached for his monkey staff. He would wield the monkey staff with his tail, leaving that hand free of it. His rifle was still in his left hand, while his right hand reached for the hilt of one of the swords sheathed on his hip. Kaidou and Zeus flew ever closer, until Kaidou and Sasaki were in weapons' reach.

Kaidou swung his kanabo downward as Sasaki unsheathed his sword, swinging it upward.

Black Busou-shoku no Haki clad the blade of the sword. Blue lightning of the Goro Goro no Mi, and red lightning of advanced Conqueror's Haki, crackled around the blade of the sword. The fire of the Kitsunebi-ryū style and the vibrations of the Hasshō-ken style surrounded the blade of the sword. Sasaki's ultimate sword technique, seeking Kaidou's weapon. The two weapons collided, sending a shockwave of vibrations, fire and lightning far and wide. Truly a clash of titans.

DPR: 120: 5. Town Level + Z:+6 + COA: +2 + COC: +1 = 14. Planet Level

Sasaki's sword and Kaidou's kanabo clashed equally. However, Big Mom had harsh plans for both of them. As their clash reached its pinnacle, Big Mom, positioning herself even higher up in the air, summoned her Homies to her side. Combining their powers, Big Mom unleashed power of a Yonkou. Filling the skies around the tower with a storm of lasers, Big Mom unleashed a powerful attack that engulfed everything underneath her. Sasaki's eyes widened in shock as the lasers surrounded him - no escape. In the last moment, Sasaki discharged an explosive amount of lightning and black Busou-shoku no Haki from his entire body, engulfing everything around him as a defensive mechanism. The silhouette of Sasaki's body, without Zeus, came flying out of the sky, crashing down onto the soils at the foot of the tower. A cloud of dust was left lingering from the crashlanding, obscuring Sasaki from sight.

DPR: 120: 5. Town Level + A:+3 + COA: +2 = 10. Large Country Level

Big Mom's attack is 3 DPR higher: Overwhelms the weaker attack but loses 2~DPR

Big Mom's remaining DPR: 11. Small Continent Level

Big Mom's DPR 2 or more higher than Sasaki's durability: super effective

Lightning Explosion:

Sasaki can unleash an explosion of lightning from his body, blowing everything away. Rank: A. Moderate Paralysis.

The lingering dust cloud started to fade, and Sasaki was seen standing up. His rifle was back in its holster, and his sword was back in its scabbard. Sasaki was holding his monkey staff with both of his hands, clinging onto it to help himself stand. Blood was trailing from his mouth and from his head, soaking parts of his hair in red. His left eye was closed shut, unable to open for the time being. Bruises were seen all over Sasaki's body, but he stood, alive. He had a smile on his face, and the sunlight illuminated his body.

What sunlight? There was no sunlight. The skies were somewhat cloudy before. As Yonkou Big Mom, Yonkou Kaidou, and Eustass Kid had that realization, Sasaki mischievously pointed up at the sky, high up, even above Big Mom. The cloudy skies had been split from the clash, and above the clouds was Sasaki's last effort.

A Raigou. The Monkey King's greatest attack. Floating around next to the Raigou was Zeus. Sasaki shouted, advanced Conqueror's Haki reverberating from him, reaching the skies.

Take control of it, Zeus-kun! And give 'em hell!

Zeus, with a child's crying look on his face, flew into the Raigou. The massive amount of lightning that made up the Raigou suddenly pulsed as Zeus took command, his soul inhabiting the Raigou. The massive thundercloud started to change in shape, a literal calamity taking shape up in the skies above the Yonkous and Eustass Kid. A thunder God's fist started to form, filling up the skies.

Black Busou-shoku no Haki and advanced Conqueror's Haki flowed through the fist as it descended. It was not going for anyone. It was coming for everything. Sasaki and Zeus did not seek to kill anyone here. But they sought to end this fight. Destroy this battlefield. And disappear. The mayhem would last for a minute or so, but when it all ended, Sasaki was gone. Zeus was gone. And so was Yamato.

DPR: 120: 5. Town Level + S+:+5 + COA: +2 + COC: +1 = 13. Moon Level (+ enormous AOE, due to the assistance of the legendary warship Mika, which created the Raigou throughout the whole story)

It was one vs many. A dire situation for the boy of Spada Pirates. With one arm unusable in combat – he was in the most tumultuous situation he’s ever been. Danger is more than imminent. A short brief exchange of glances. But ultimately, the boy moved forward – and he attacked. A swing of his wing generated air blades towards the group of enemies in front of him. The group however, quickly reacted each of their own to deal with the air blades whilst Katakuri remains unmoving, his mochi arms sunk deep into the sea of mochi. Just then, a large force reverberated perhaps likely around the island, the mochi starts to rescind back towards Katakuri as it gathers all in one spot – the man was preparing for something on a massive scale. So massive that the city was devoid of mochi as all these mochi would transform into a fist of massive proportions, the signature move of Katakuri so far. Black lightning crackles at the appearance of the massive Mochi fist. Katakuri spoke, in a cold tone of vengeance – he would aim to smash his brothers’ murderer into pieces as his eyes glowed.

The boy looked on in awe – a shock factor certainly. The man went all out to take him out. And for Akira, whom certainly did not intend to die could only respond in kind. With a sword it would been easier to deal with it, but alas he would need to deal with it with what he has. His wing remained imbued with Haki, but soon. Much like Katakuri, a burst of Conqueror’s Haki emanates out of the boy. Moving his arm wing high up, the wing itself covering much of the boy’s body. Lightning would crackle as well around the boy – it is only appropriate. Behind his raid suit, a glint of red glow could barely be seen from his helm - the boy’s time has yet to arrive, so getting killed is not an option. As the Mochi fist comes slamming down, the boy faced the attack straight on, jumping high up, the boy swung his wing against the Mochi, enough power to meet the attack.

Akira's DPR: 6. City Level (121+, Zoans only) + A: +3 + CoA: +3 + CoC: +1 = 13. Moon Level

The clash between Katakuri and Akira came, a powerful shockwave reverberates from the two forces, lightning crackles immensely from it, causing even more wonton destruction as the epicenter of the clash shreds and blows away, the island and its inhabitants would be at the mercy of the two.

Kallavan had made his declaration. To Spada. To the world and most importantly to himself. He hadn't miraculously recovered from such a traumatic experience far from it in fact. But the young Admiral had to. Two worlds depended on him moving forward, standing still was out of the question. The Admiral would and should mourn but not right now. A new goal had been set for him, one that wouldn't be feasible right now. He had to cement himself within the marines to become a pillar unable to be cast aside or be ignored. He needed fame and power. Luckily there was someone, his original objective, that could give him both.

Kaido. The World's strongest creature. Defeat him and take his powers for his own.

Kallavan would lower his fist and turned around, walking in the opposite direction of Spada. After a few steps the man would turn around and looked over his shoulder, his eye looking into Spada.

"Next time we meet. I'll fight for both this world and Ivalice."

The marine said before dashing into a nearby town or some place with at least some shelter. Oddly he didn't go straight towards Kaido and Big Mom who were fighting a certain someone. Once there the young man didn't have a lot of time to go search for that shelter as the island itself shook heavily. It was as if the world was nearing its end. Winds picked up and turned into a tempest, the sea a slave to the winds turned into waves as nearby smaller islands started to get overwhelmed by it. Thunder and lightning cleared the cloudy sky with a light beyond anything Kallavan had seen before and in the middle of it all a massive arm and black fist that sought to end it all. Sweat rolled down from Kallavan's brow for he couldn't believe the spectacle and the sheer magnitude of Sasaki's powers. The fist slammed down and unleashed one final gale towards pretty much everything. Kallavan would shield himself but even the structures here, so removed from the actual fight, had troubles withstanding the destruction his colleague's power possessed. Eventually things started to calm down and Kallavan would stand up looking on into the distance.

Things were still cloudy for the Admiral. Both him and Spada were separate sides of the same coin. Housing some form of the remnants of a lost and bygone race. Spada carried its hate or perhaps festered it into pure hatred and got corrupted by it as well. Meanwhile, Kallavan, a soul so pure but born in the dark carried its hopes but at the same time were at peace with the world and their current conditions. Rohan told him so. They had mourned the loss of their home and couldn't bear to see another one to be lost and ruined for the sake of their own. These people had nothing to do with the end of theirs. The Apocalypse that ended Ivalice was one of their own making and own design. Too much had they toyed with the supernatural and cryptics that in the end that very discovery devoured their world.

Kallavan would move away from his shelter and moved to a small boulder that caught his eye. He'd sigh and took the beret from his head and the trademark blue jacket from his shoulders and placed them on the boulder. Now the Admiral stared at what effectively was a resting spot in his mind. Only wearing a dark shirt, blue trousers and brown combat boots. Besides the boots there weren't any notable features left that'd identify him as a marine. His marine coat lost when he was defeated. And here he'd lay down his military medals and rank insignia. Even his beret, the one gifted to him by that certain man would be left here. Kallavan would close his eyes and gave one final prayer to the man that was

Kallavan Stormblessed.

"I'm sorry Mother. Father. If only I listened. If only."

Kallavan said, one final tear leaving his right eye. He'd close it and sent it down to the ground before him. A single sigh would leave him as he started to look around. Wondering where he'd go to next. Obviously Kaido was his destination, but he was still figuring out how to get there. He wasn't the guns blazing mad man from the start of this campaign. Back was the normally collected Kallavan. But which of the two was the true him? That was a question he'd have to find out during the course of this journey. He'd turn around, and look upon the heavens.

"Rohan. Do you know what the Almighty is?"
Rohan said:
No, not really. I have a rough idea but I need some more time to think upon. For now, it seems that entity took something away. What exactly I do not know. But it seems the power you gained from the words you spoke in Vinland have been neutralized. Either a blessing or a curse depending on how you look at it.
"What do you mean?"
Rohan said:
It gives you the chance at a clean slate Kid. Carve your own path or if you really felt at home and at peace with what this almighty gave you. Find a way back in his favour. Now I really need a nap. I'll let you know if I find anything else.
The glow in Kallavan's eyes faded. The man was not aware of this but every time he spoke to Rohan his eyes would glow, establishing a link within the man in his soul. An oddity for the man should've been assimilated back at Wano. But it seemed meeting Spada had more than one change within him. Luckily, the corruption that had changed him so harshly has now long faded away. It was but a pebble in the ocean.

Eventually light rose through the grey clouds. And this time it was actually the sun itself. A ray of sunshine beamed to the land around Kallavan and himself. Enjoying this sensation he'd close his eyes before being surprised by a creature running up his leg and eventually sitting down on his left shoulder. A white fox cub, it'd scratch its nose with one of his paws before looking at Kallavan and pointing forward. A gesture done bu poking its head forward. The man would chuckle, a first in this entire adventure.

"Figured you'd be here Thorkell. Alright then, forward it is."

And so started the tale of Kallavan D Blackthorne. Leaving behind a legacy that he no longer felt was truly his own.

The Beaches of WCI
Next time we meet. Those were the last words of Vice-Admiral Kallavan, bearing Son Rohan’s soul. The man walked away from La Spada, the woman only grinning at his words. She would take his challenge. In this world driven by fate, these two were set on a course collision, with the fate of two worlds in the balance. The two did not engage in fight, only in words. Yet, those words revealed and transformed them both. La Spada, once downtrodden and naught at her defeat, found her passion once more. To take Big Mom’s soul and position, so she could implant the souls of Ivalice to this world. In doing so, perhaps she would be free of their hate, and remember her sisters once more.

La Spada stood up straight as the rain began to cease, almost the calm before the storm, before a clash would take the island. Her words were thick with that infamous accent, arrogance, and hate. La Spada’s catchphrase.
[La Spada] “It is not the dead who should not be among the living, but the living who should not be among the dead.”
[La Spada] “Sisters, yah’ will be among us soon.”

With those words, La Spada‘s frown turned into a classic malevolent grin. The hate poured out of her as Legion lent a hand. A sweeping aura stronger than before, a hate stronger than before, permeated the air. La Spada was back, with more hate than ever.

Suddenly, the Sky split. In the distance, the will of three people swept the island. The Will was so strong, La Spada’s eyes would dart to the cataclysm that swept the sky for all too see. Big Mom and Kaido were among them. La Spada curled a grin and turned. She walked in the opposite direction than Kallavan, but not directly to Big Mom and Kaido. Nay, she headed to the forest on the island, the Seducing Woods. To recover her strength, La Spada would need to feed. It is there she felt the most souls, congregated, ripe for consumption.

Big Mom was next. Hate would find her.

START OF PART II
First part is for all @Ichimonji @Guren @Sea

The fist of the thunder god descended onto Whole Cake Island. Sasaki, the Monkey King. Mika, the legendary warship. Zeus, the carrier of Big Mom's soul. Working together, the three swept over Whole Cake Island with an attack truly mighty. When all was said and done, Sasaki and Zeus were gone, as were Yamato, Eustass Kid, and his first mate. Kaidou and Big Mom were seen floating high up in the air. They were largely unharmed, though burn marks and scratches were seen on parts of their body - parts of their clothing tattered. The two Yonkous had combined their efforts to deal with the thunder god's fist. However, the destruction reached far and wide. Craters from lightning strikes, destroyed trees, fissures. But the Whole Cake Chateau stood, for it reaped the protection of the two Yonkous. Big Mom's fists were clenched tightly, with both Hera and Prometheus showing her rage - flaring with power of the elements. Big Mom grit her teeth, visibly angered by what has happened. More than angered - infuriated.

Zeus... that brat. To think that he would turn on his own mother...!

Big Mom cursed. Little did she know, Zeus had done what he had done to prevent a further escalation in the fight. He wanted to get away.

And that cursed monkey!!! He must have took Yamato. He destroyed the whole wedding!!!

Big Mom raged.

Worororo... don't worry Linlin... Yamato will come back to me. I know it.

Kaidou said, calming his fellow Yonkou down.

@Sea

Just as the descent of the thunder god's fist marked the end of one battlefield, another mighty clash marked the end of another battlefield. Akira and Katakuri collided, their powerful attacks ravaging the area far and wide. The resulting obscurity would have provided Akira enough opportunity to retreat. The absence of Mochi would have also revealed the location of his sword, allowing him to pick it up as he retreated. By the time the clash and the obscurity cleared, Akira was gone, leaving Katakuri, the members of the Charlotte family, and the members of the Beast Pirates, at a dead end. Katakuri was seen on the ground, laying on his back, unconscious. He had exerted all of his power in the last clash, and was no longer awake. Charlotte Perospero picked Katakuri up, dropping him over his shoulder. Charlotte Brulee expanded a shard of glass and both the Big Mom Pirates and the Beast Pirates disappeared. The battle was over, and the casualties were numerous among the Charlotte brothers. A sour taste was left in their mouths. They had never seen Katakuri in this state.

@Ichimonji

A few hours had passed since the fight against Big Mom and Kaidou - and La Spada was walking the Seducing Woods. A forest of life and souls, the grim had to eat to replenish her strength for the upcoming battle. Following her were strange creatures of darkness. The Incarnations.

Mysterious creatures with bright, beady eyes, they moved fluently and without disturbing their environment, as if shadows brought to life. They were more than 30, slowly overtaking La Spada before coming out into the open, surrounding her. 5 of the 30 Incarnations were carrying strange baskets. Inside them, souls.

One of the Incarnations spoke, its voice eerie.

Who... are... you...

A strange soul... never seen... before.

Kallavan D. Blackthorne. A man reborn walked the streets of a village on Whole Cake Island. After having met La Spada, Kallavan saw the thunder god's fist descend, marveling at the display of power - unknowing that he himself was bound to possess such power as well. A man evolving. A few hours had passed since the fight against Big Mom and Kaidou. As Kallavan walked, a voice would reach out to him from a few dozen meters off to the side.

Kallavan...

The voice said - it familiar to Kallavan. If he looked to the side, he would see Sasaki sitting atop a boulder, his monkey tail wiggling about.

I heard you had met a certain woman. Don't tell me you fell for her...

Sasaki said jokingly, although his eyes were very serious. Kallavan did not know of Sasaki's ability to hear everything, so how exactly he had acquired this information would be unknown to him. But alas, the question was there, and Sasaki needed an answer.

I want to talk to you about her.

Sasaki said upfront.

Kallavan simply wandered through the streets of this village. Without much of his marine attire the man most likely didn't really stand out from the crowd nor would he betray his allegiance. Kallavan would use this moment of quiet to think more on what had just transpired. What he all knew right now. And more importantly what he'd do with it after everything here was done and settled. Sadly this short walk wouldn't last very long. The white fox, still on his shoulder, would perk up and looked to the side. At that point Sasaki spoke and Kallavan naturally followed the direction of the sound.

"Sasaki-san?"

Kallavan spoke and through that single interaction Sasaki would instantly notice a change in his colleague. His demeanour, his eyes and his aura in particular. The lightning man with his oversensitive mantra would be one of the few and first to notice this shift. To call it a change would be a poor choice of words. Even Kallavan himself hardly recognized what he had unlocked deep within. A storm was bound to happen. It'd even make Sasaki feel on edge, for a short moment at the very least.

The young marine would turn and walked into Sasaki's direction allowing him to continue talking. His senior then began the conversation about a certain woman he had just met. Which in this case was most likely Spada. With a quip and a taunt Sasaki would break the ice. But to his surprise or shock Kallavan wouldn't glare at Sasaki he'd simply frown and wondered why he even questioned such a thing in general. The man would stop a few meters in front of Sasaki and replied.

"Fell for her? I don't really share your taste Sasaki-san."
"What do you want to know?"

Kallavan joked.

A change so grand it might even completely stun Sasaki.

And the Admiral afterwards noticed it himself. His eyes widened shortly before casting his glance to the side. Trying to ignore that strange impulse that had just happened.

With the unearthed darkness and rage came purification. The souls within him already starting a change unlike any before.

The Beaches of WCI
Seducing Woods. Hidden from the eyes of those who would interrupt Death, La Spada was to feed. Hurt, exhausted, and drained, it would take a large number of souls to recover. Seducing Woods was prime ground. And so, the malevolent one fed. Fed by inhaling the souls whole. Souls corroded by a sense of dread and newfound will to overtake the land. Soils reaped by the Grim Reaper.

Such was one soul. Fed, until those Incarnate appeared.

The Incarnations surrounded La Spada. These were different, La a Spada could feel. It was as if their soul, their aura, was one La Spada had felt before. But where?

The Incarnations had been following her, slowly, and deliberately. Like moths to a flame. But which flame? Some held baskets with souls. Dropping the one just consumed, La Spada stood up. She immediately looked up to the dark shades of the woods, inhaling deep. With an exhale, as if digesting the soul just consumed, came a chilling breath. A breath that overtook the area in a chilling aura. As if the Chill of the Underworld clung to the pile of bones.

The infamous thick dark accent rolled off the rotting tongue.
[La Spada] “I. Am. Death.”
[La Spada] “Tha’ stench. Smelled it before. To whom do yah’ answer to, mah’ dears? Would yah’ serve a new master?”

An introduction. Gentle, but forceful in aura, The Grim engaged with the creatures, now walking over to the nearest with the baskets. As she walked, La Spada licked her fingers, as if savoring the last soul.

Huff… Huff… Huff…

Sitting against a rock, the boy sat down onto the ground – hidden from view. Taking deep breaths, the boy slowed down his adrenaline kicking in and he would simply rest. With one leg lying straight down and the other raised, he would place his hand against it, and beside that is his sword – retrieved from the last few minutes of the fight that took place in Biscuit Island now sits on his shoulder, supported by the raised leg at the same time to prevent it from falling. And there. The boy rest.

His body, wrecked – a mixture of blood and sweat could be seen all around. No longer was the boy wearing the raid suit, having been damaged now returns to its canister. Blood would cover his face bleeding down to his left eye, closed to prevent blood from seeping in. His arm still essentially too injured to fight with. Thus the one-arm bandit would have to deal with this circumstances for now. The boy’s eyes closed completely, even for a minute or two – he will take what he can. His fast, erratic yet deep breath starts to slow into a more normalized breathing. His mind starts to wander off a little.

--Flashback--

Back in Biscuit Island. The clash between Katakuri and Akira’s attack – a clash between conquerors would devastate the island. The attack of the giant mochi fist and Akira’s wing did not even touch yet a bubble of force stood between them, laced with black lightning, congregating and releasing at the same time. The force reverberated and cause a massive shockwave – throwing likely the rest of the inhabitants if they weren’t strong enough to withstand the force. The boy’s raid suit would start to feel the immense pressure. Soon afterwards, the clash of force would finally implode, causing a final shockwave as it sends Akira reeling back in force, with his injured arm he couldn’t completely negate the knockback. But amidst the clash is the large throwback of dust and smoke arises as a lot of debris is sent flying away, several of the debris would hit Akira, his raid suit specifically, causing further damage – yet from the edge of his vision, a small glint prompted the boy’s attention.

…!

What the white glint is, isn’t seen with the blowback of the dust and smoke obscuring everything. But the boy could feel. That the sword is calling out to him. And like moth to the flame – the boy with all his speed would follow that glint. Dust and smoke would start to dissipate – and for a split second, the sword, stuck onto the ground could be seen. It’s blue blade predominantly showing its unique features to its peers. The boy would reach out in his hands, but in that short moment of grabbing his sword a small debris flew by and hit the boy by his face, that even with the raid suit the impact has cause the helmet of the suit to slice into the skin of his forehead, causing blood to bleed and drip down to his cheeks.

With Twilight’s Edge back to Akira, the boy quickly aimed to retreat. Turning his feet around, the boy jumped – using a Soru-esque technique to gain distance and momentum, away from Katakuri and his allies. Keeping his sword back to his hips along with raid suit, now damaged from the resulting force of clash and debris. Even though the boy has an injured arm, he would force the wing to flap. The pain would be immeasurable but it would save his life. That very thought, and his tolerance would allow him to do so. As long as he gets off the island.
-------

The boy opened his eyes, wiping off the blood from the forehead. While he is not using the raid suit for the time being, he has bandages. Though not exactly meant for the purpose he intended for. But this time he would make use of it. Tearing apart the black bandages, used originally to hide his face – he would use it as the actual purpose of it, to bandage the forehead to help minimize the bleeding. He would also acquire some sticks lying around to form a makeshift splint or brace for his arm, using bandages to do so. He could merely return to the ship, even with the pain he can still make it back and recover. But should he do so, La Spada would been the only one left on the island. But it would've been perfect. Alone, she wouldn't be able to fight everyone. His revenge complete.

Your mind is like the sea, my friend. When it is agitated, it becomes difficult to see. But if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear.

Sigh…

The words of an old tortoise reminded him of it. He has remembered the words of a sagacious old mink. His mind used to be all that is, a raging sea. Nowadays his mind has been much clearer.

And yet.

The boy stood up. He would survey his surroundings for a short moment. But eventually, the boy picked up the black canister once more, and in that brief moment the boy transformed – back to the deathly armour he once wore though damaged with parts exposed, his helm remains covered sufficiently alongside with the bandage - his identity hidden. He would walk, slowly – with his weapon in tow. Where to however in this island? He wasn’t sure.

The mysterious, shadowy Incarnations had been following La Spada and now surrounded her, confronting her in a clearing inside the forest. To any onlooker, of which there were many, for the whole forest was alive, this confrontation would truly look out of this world. Strange black humanoids with beady, glowing eyes, and a Deathly woman cloaked and shrouded in utter mystery. Truly an otherworldly bunch. Some of the Incarnations held picnic baskets and inside them, glowing brightly, were collected souls. One of the Incarnations spoke, requesting to know who the Deathly woman was. The Chill of the Underworld took the forest. Temperatures were falling and a cold mist was rolling along. La Spada answered, referring to herself as Death. The Incarnations could not die, so they were not afraid, nor intimidated. Instead, they were curious. They had never come across someone like La Spada. The woman walked toward one of the Incarnations that had a basket, whilst questioning who they were, and who they answered to. They had the aura of someone that La Spada knew.

We answer to mama...

One of the other Incarnations answered. No name was given, but who mama was, was more than obvious. The Yonkou, Big Mom. The only true mother of Whole Cake Island, and whom everybody answered to.

The souls inside the basket held by the Incarnation that La Spada was approaching to, suddenly started to roll about inside the basket, almost as if they were nervous and on the edge. La Spada's approach was what frightened the souls instinctively.

We collect souls.

Your soul... part of it we need. For mama... a tribute.

Another of the Incarnations said, their jobs, their roles, revealed.

After his escape from Biscuit Island, Akira found himself with his back resting against a tree. He opened his eyes, remembering the battle that he had gone through. Words of an old sage tortoise entered his mind, causing Akira to sigh. He had injuries to tend to. A damaged arm and wing, Akira had not escaped the battle in good shape. However, he was an Assassin, and as one, he was able to survive most any situation. Using bandages and sticks, Akira would tend to bleeding, and even use the sticks to create makeshift splints for where he needed them. Then, after just a bit more rest, Akira finally stood back up, testing his strength. His Raid Suit was once again released, wrapping around his body to a tight fit - identity concealed. Akira walked, noticing pain in various parts of his body. But, as he continued to move, and his body continued to warm back up, it would undoubtedly lead to some of the pain going away.

If Akira looked around, he would find himself walking a country road. There was nothing but green landscapes everywhere he looked - to the left, to the right, and forward as far as the eye can see. The road was all Akira had. But, on a closer look, if Akira squinted his eyes just slightly, he'd see a silhouette down the road. A good hundred meters or so away, there was a person sitting in the middle of the road. As Akira continued to walk, he would eventually make it to the person. Tiny legs. A huge torso. The man was several times taller than Akira, even while sitting down. The man had his back to Akira. But as Akira approached, he stood up and turned around. A shadow cast over Akira due to the sheer, towering height of the man. Glaring down at Akira was a man that the Assassin would undoubtedtly know. An identity famous throughout the world.

The Shichibukai.

The tyrant.

Bartholomew Kuma.

Greetings... Grim Reaper's Shadow.

Sasaki's voice called out to Kallavan, summoning his attention. When Kallava turned to where the voice came from, he'd find Sasaki sitting atop a rock, his monkey tail moving about curiously. Sasak was sitting cross-legged, with his left elbow against his left leg, and his chin lazily resting atop his hand. Sasaki joked, asking Kallavan about his meeting with La Spada, and if he had fallen for her. Kallavan was quick to point out that he did not share Sasaki's taste. Upon that comment, a disgusted look took over Sasaki's facial expression.

Eww, don't even joke about that. Her mouth is riddled with maggots, and she doesn't even have a tail.

Sasaki said. The maggots were definitely a deal breaker. And the no tail part made it all the worse. Sasaki was, after all, a Half Human Half Humandrill. He liked tails.

With that out of the way, however, Sasaki noticed something strange about Kallavan. It was a subtle chance in the man's... aura. His very being. A change that only a man like Sasaki would notice to quickly - for his Mantra was unparalleled. Participating in a world changing event, like a raid of a Yonkou's territory, would undoubtedly change a man. And so Kallavan's change was not out of the ordinary, or unexpected. But it was quite intense.

Kallavan asked Sasaki what he wanted to know, and Sasaki answered.

That woman... she's a calamity waiting to destroy the world. My precious Aolai... she had already destroyed it in the past. I need to put an end to that witch of Death.

Sasaki said, his eyes sharp as he made his intentions clear. His tail was no longer moving about.

A man like you... what did she want from you?

Sasaki asked, troubled by the meeting of Kallavan and La Spada.

Kallavan, straight to the point like always asked Sasaki was on his mind. And after a short bit of messing around the lightning man revealed his intentions and asked Kallavan a question. The response to Sasaki's inquiry took some time. Normally he'd expect Kallavan to respond outright but the man went into thought, as if he was choosing his words carefully. "She wanted to know the origins of the wills that I carry." The Admiral said with a sigh, knowing how ridiculous it all sounded. "It is a long tale, one I'll explain in fully once we leave this place. But to give you the short version." Kallavan said looking up at the sky before returning his gaze at Sasaki.

"This world, this existence we live is not the only one. Beyond the oblivion that we know exists many other worlds. Creations that resemble ours one might say, mimic even but with slight differences. Take Spada and Crocodile for example. I never noticed it before it was pointed out to me. But they seem like the same person, no? Well that is because in the world where Spada comes from, Crocodile never existed. She is one of the few people from Ivalice that made it beyond the veil. Escaped a world that is no longer."

Whether Sasaki knew this or didn't it was quite a reveal. Spada doesn't originate from this realm? And the comparison to her and Crocodile made a decent argument but could still be left to chance. But true evidence could only be acknowledged by those that came from Ivalice, which sadly were only a few.

Kallavan continued.

"I do not know the full details of the journey the people of Ivalice undertook. Not yet anyway. But Spada is one of their heralds but the souls she carried got twisted, corrupted during the journey. Or perhaps they did because of her. Suffice it to say, she carries all the hate of those that got left behind. And I...I" The Admiral stopped clenching his hands into fists, flashes of the past, flashes of what had happened to him moved before his eyes. His gaze cast upon the ground. " And I am, supposedly the other side of that coin. Born on the south blue, but through fate and destiny a herald to the people of Ivalice that simply want solace. They have made peace with their fate."

For Sasaki it was probably a lot to take in. If he even believed it at all. But the man with his senses would and could definitely tell that Kallavan was telling the honest truth. And there was something odd about him all of a sudden. An anomaly he couldn't put his finger on.

"Our fates are as such knit together. Where she wrecks destruction I am bound to oppose and fight her. Like light and darkness locked into an eternal struggle."

And then it happened the bottling anger subdued and reached the surface for a split second. Releasing a controlled storm of power. The white fox on Kallavan's shoulder leaped to his head and followed the emotions of its master. Dark lightning sparked from Kallavan's fists, the man oblivious to the power he was radiating. But all of it was controlled to a very terrifying degree.

"She is a responsibility that I inherited. Do not, take this from me. Sasaki-san. For it is the only fleeting thing I have left in this miserable world."

Kallavan spoke, hinting at a darkness within he was not ready or not yet willing to reveal. And to make matters worse, for Sasaki at least, the man's aura was completely gone. As if he had snuffed the candle to his spirit. The lightning man and master of mantra could no longer read the Admiral before him. And as such had to make a guess for perhaps the first time in decades. Even his future sight, the epitome of his mastery showed nothing but darkness. As if someone had placed a blindfold before his eyes.

One could only hope this encounter did turn sour.

The boy walked slowly, his body in pain. Normal of someone that is constantly in a fight, his skin has toughened up, his mentality not just physically has acclimated to such pains. Soon the pain would lessen, and that eventually even if broken Akira could still find use on his am from time to time. For now, he would take time to heal his arm, his bodily injuries. Blood continues to seep but slowed down into a crawl. Eventually the wounds would clot and blood would stop. The boy would take his time to walk, it was a road down into nowhere besides trees and landscapes. Not a single soul could be seen. That is until then, a singular black figure is spotted from the horizon where the road leads. The boy didn’t seem to think too much he would continue the road down; it would eventually lead to somewhere - he hasn’t truly been long enough for the Big Mom Pirates to look for him specifically. Though given his actions in Biscuit Island, it won’t be long before they do. That said, he wasn’t attacked for a short while ever since spotting the figure from the horizon thus it is perhaps likely the figure did not even notice Akira’s approach.

Eventually, the figure would start to increase in size, for every metre the boy walked closer – the size relative to the distance. Soon, he would find the large size of the mysterious figure tower over him even whilst sited down. The figure would finally stand, turning around as his height would cast a shadow upon Akira. It was none other than the Shichibukai, Bartholomew Kuma. The giant would speak, immediately greeted Akira as the Shadow.

“….. That’s not something you should be aware of.”

Unlike many, the appearance of Bartholomew Kuma doesn’t seem to unnerve the boy at all. Despite his reputation in the seas. What Akira however is somewhat concerned about is the knowledge that Kuma held. He is aware of the Shadow. Despite never gotten a bounty and the entire point of the Shadow was to be the myth to create fear towards La Spada by the general populace. Not even the World Government at this point seems to be aware of that fact, otherwise he probably would have gotten a bounty back on Wano. An identity a mystery to many, secretive only to his crew. How did Kuma become aware of this? Though one may consider Akira’s situation to be bad, with one arm in this state a proper fight would likely result in a bad outcome. The boy is considered still a powerful threat even whilst injured. But that’s not what the boy intend to do unless forced upon to do so. There are some that are afraid of the appearance of Shichibukais, some hated them, a pirate’s pride that was forsaken to be granted upon immunity by the World Government. But Akira. He did not truly care. His fight is personal; he cares not for the whims of the World Government or the Revolutionaries or even what other Pirate Crews do. Unlike most of the Spada Pirates Akira is perhaps one of the least destructive. He would not fight anyone unnecessarily unless ordered to do so and Bartholomew Kuma is one such person that Akira do not have anything against, thus there is no desire to fight. An aura ominous to his peers could be felt seeping through the damaged suit of the boy. A killer instinct that warns the Tyrant to be careful. Speaking coldly, the boy merely asked. A question posed to the Tyrannical giant that is Bartholomew Kuma.

“I don’t believe we ever met.”

“What do you want from me… Bartholomew Kuma?”

The Beaches of WCI
A smell familiar. The blobs of black surrounded and approached La Spada, as if entranced. The Grim eerily approached, asking who they served. Mama. There was a subtle move of the boney eyebone. La Spada took a step forward until she was just in front of one of the Incarnations, staring down to the basket with souls. It was then they asked to take her soul.

The woman gave a stifle chuckle, before speaking.
[La Spada] “Yah’ may have mah’ whole soul. Take me to Mama. You, see I have some presents for her - not just my soul.”

From her cloak, La Spada took out a box with a pretty bow. A present with the name Charlotte LinLin attached - a wedding gift. It would stay closed, for it bore the heads of three of her children. However, the gambit was set. La Spada would dramatically move her right index boney finger over one of the souls in the basket. The finger glowed green, bladed at the end. With a gentle but forceful tap, La Spada aimed to sever one of the souls.

A subtle threat. The Grim could destroy souls.

Sasaki questioned Kallavan, inquiring about the run in that he had had with La Spada. Sasaki's tone was serious and on edge, and Kallavan answered in kind, with firmness, likely realizing that this was a very important subject to Sasaki. Kallavan went on to explain what he knew. La Spada was not of this world, but rather of a world long gone. Ivalice. She carried the hate of all of those who were left behind in the world that was no more. Perhaps destroyed? Sasaki knew a lot about La Spada, and yet he didn't know any of this. His eyes widened in surprise, having not expected Kallavan to know so much - to know things that Sasaki did not. However, what was even more unexpected, was Kallavan's role in all of this. Two opposite sides of the same coin. Darkness and light, locked into an eternal struggle. And while La Spada herself was eternal, Kallavan was not - likely having inherited this mission from somebody else. Eyes firmly locked with Sasaki's, Kallavan clenched his fists, emnating with power. He was resolute. His responsibility of dealing with La Spada was not to be taken away from him. Not even by Sasaki. Sasaki's eyes sharpened, assessing Kallavan's resolve. Suddenly, tension was broken. A squeaky voice from behind Sasaki spoke.

What are you two talking about... sounds like magic and dragon and stuff.

A goofy remark, cutting through the tense conversation like a hot knife through butter. Kallavan wouldn't recognize the voice, but Sasaki definitely did.

Finally awake?

Sasaki said, standing up and looking over his shoulder. His Clima Tact, known as the monkey king's staff, suddenly extended and curved over Sasaki's shoulder like a sentient tendril. At the end of the monkey king's staff was a pair of eyes and a mouth. It was alive.

That was scary, Sasaki-san. I thought mama would kill us all. I can't believe she would treat me like that!

The soul inside the monkey king's staff said.

You got us out of there. I can't believe how strong you are.

Sasaki said. The soul inside the monkey king's staff was that of Zeus. And what Kallavan had witnessed earlier, from miles away, was Zeus' doing. He had inhabited Sasaki's Raigou, turning the Raigou itself into a sentient thunder god's fist, which wrecked the battlefield, putting an end to the fight between Sasaki, Eustass Kid, Big Mom and Kaidou. Now, Zeus inhabited Sasaki's monkey king's staff.

Anyway...

Sasaki said, now looking back at Kallavan. Sasaki remained quiet for a few seconds, looking at Kallavan, as if scanning him.

You're determined huh...

Fine. But I, too, have a responsibility. So you might get my help, whether you like it or not.

Sasaki said, looking up at the sky.

Ivalice... a different world, parallel to ours. Miss Yoshitsune... did she cause that after all? Maybe Doctor Kuro was right all along...

Sasaki said, contemplating. He looked back at Kallavan, pointing to the distance.

That's where Big Mom and Kaidou are. La Spada will definitely make it to them as well. I'll place my trust in you for today.

Sasaki said. His body crackled with lightning. Suddenly, he turned into a bolt of lightning, shooting up into the sky and disappearing from sight. It was time for Kallavan to fight - on this day, he was Sasaki's champion.

The two Vice-Admirals locked eyes with one another. Both resolute in their paths going forward. From an outsiders' perspective this conversation could've gone either way but fortunately an oblivious third party would melt this tensions nearly instantly. A relief. Kallavan would exhale sharply as he closed his eyes, the tension lifting from his shoulders. Even the pet fox on his head knew it instinctively and moved to his shoulder once more.

The staff on Sasaki's back suddenly sprung to life as it curved over the Admiral's shoulder. Eyes and a mouth shifting into view. Kallavan couldn't do much else but raise an eyebrow on this odd development. Was this the soul or rather the being that assisted Sasaki earlier in his clash between Kaido and Big Mom? It acted aloof but wielded incredible power. Or so Kallavan suspected at least from their conversation for he hadn't encountered Zeus before this moment.

Snapped back to reality, Sasaki would drag their conversation back to the root of it all. The Admiral would acknowledge Kallavan's resolve but not without giving him his aid, whether he liked it or not. With his gaze set upon the sky Sasaki would ponder about something. Referring to characters Kallavan has yet to meet. "Doctor Kuro?" Kallavan reiterated, but sadly he wouldn't get an answer to this question. Sasaki would return his gaze and placed his trust in Kallavan today. The Admiral pointed into the distance giving Kallavan his objective, the location of Big Mom and Kaido.

Sasaki had anointed Kallavan to be his champion. And like a bolt of lightning the man vanished from view, launching himself into the sky and to another location. Sasaki's plans or objectives continued to be a mystery to Kallavan. But the man finally had his goal before him. His eyes reflected the fierce power within as he gazed into the distance. Hands clenched into fists as flashes of that awful memory still played before him as if to remind him what was at stake. Kaido was not the end goal but a stepping stone.

"I promise."

These words started the story of Whole Cake Island...

The world, just like the oceans that covered it, moved in waves. Cycles of peace and war. Cycles of calm and storms. Now, the world was most definitely in the middle of a wave of war. A wave of storms. The tides were shifting. The eras and generations would collide against one another in a clash most grand. The next couple of days would change the course of history forever.

A couple of men and women held the balance of the world in their hands. Yonkou Shanks. Yonkou Blackbeard. Yonkou Big Mom. Yonkou Kaidou. Legendary Marines, Sengoku and Monkey D. Garp. The leader of the Revolutionaries, Monkey D. Dragon. The Shichibukai, of which the greatest swordsman in the world, Dracule Mihawk, was a member. The Celestial Dragons. The Five Elders. These were the biggest names in the world, a generation that had already distinguished itself. But, like with every generation that has passed, so too would this one. Eventually, the new generation would take over, and change the world forever, for better or for worse.

The collision of generations would happen on Whole Cake Island.
And now was the time for that war. That collision of generations.

La Spada was in the Seducing Woods, confronted by the Incarnations of Big Mom's soul. The Incarnations demanded La Spada give part of her soul, just like everyone else had to. An offering to the Empress, Big Mom. La Spada said she would give her whole soul to Big Mom, if only they took her to their mama. La Spada had a gift inside a box. The Incarnations stared at the box with their glowing, beady eyes.

A gift... for mama...

One of the Incarnations said. They looked at each other and nodded.

Follow... us...

Another of the Incarnations said. The shadowy strange beings turned around and started floating away, toward the exit of the Seducing Woods. They would lead the way to Big Mom.

Kallavan was in the countryside of Whole Cake Island, talking to Sasaki. Sasaki pointed into the distance. He was shown the way to Kaidou. And with that, Sasaki disappeared.

Both La Spada and Kallavan had been shown where to go. And so they walked. Minutes went by, and then it was dozens of minutes. An hour went by, and then it was two. La Spada and Kallavan walked, the camera showing them parallel to one another as they approached their destinies. Before long, both of them would see a sight to behold. In the distance was the Whole Cake Chateau, still standing. It was a tower of incredible height, damaged and wrecked by the earlier battle - but it stood. Behind the Whole Cake Chateau, even higher up in the air, were two massive structures of soil. Almost like two small, floating islands up in the sky, each about one or two square kilometers in size. Mysterious flame clouds held the two small, floating islands up in the sky. On one of the floating islands waited Big Mom. One the other waited Kaidou - the latter the madman who created the setting in the sky. The two Yonkous awaited. They knew what the meaning of this day was. They could read fate and its plans. The two pirates, Emperors of their eras, knew how the universe worked. On this day, the future of the world was to be decided. A future that had to be tackled head on. The Yonkous waited for their opponents. The storm was nigh.

@Sea

Akira and the Shichibukai, Bartholomew Kuma, ran into one another on the countryside. Kuma stood up and turned around, facing the assassin - towering over him significantly. Kuma referred to Akira as La Spada's Shadow, a fact that not many were privy to, and a Shichibukai was definitely not meant to know. However, Kuma, the enigma, did know. How, anyone's guess. Akira did not dwell on this development, instead asking the Shichibukai what he wanted from him. Kuma's eyes veered to Akira's injured arm. While Akira's aura did not intend to show any weakness, the weakness was obvious. But, fortunately, Bartholomew Kuma was not here to fight. Instead, he spoke.

I am here at the request of an acquaintance of mine.

Kuma said, talking of an old friend of his.

I do not know what she knows, but she has asked me to relay this message to you. Look for the stones of history on Whole Cake Island. There, you will find information that will help you reach your true goals.

Kuma said, starting to walk toward Akira. There was no bloodlust coming from the Shichibukai, no ill intent. He took the glove off of his hand, revealing the paw imprint on his hand.

I will send you there.

Kuma said.

Floating high up above the clouds of Whole Cake Island, was the Legendary Warship Mika. Sasaki was onboard his vessel once again, after having talked with Kallavan. Zeus, who had inhabited Sasaki's monkey king's staff, exited the weapon, turning back into his cloud form and floating about. He was exploring the legendary warship, the curious cloud that he was.

Sasaki sat cross-legged at the very front tip of the vessel, looking down at the lands below. His monkey tail was wiggling about, his mind focused. He was listening in on Whole Cake Island, and everything that was going on on this troubled land. Information flowed into his mind rapidly.

Whole Cake Island was destined to fall at the hands of La Spada, and Sasaki could do nothing about it on this day. He had left things up to his champion, Kallavan - but fate was to be unshaken. How Sasaki knew of the fate of Whole Cake Island, was a mystery. But, there was a role that he had. Soon, it would be time for Sasaki to go find it. The information that, according to Sensui Oldgate, Sasaki had to seek. The Poneglyph.

Time to get going...

The boy’s aura ominous, showing threat to the Shichibukai as a warning to be careful. But it would not deter the tyrant, not because he is as powerful as the boy, but that he has no intention of fighting in the first place. The tyrant would speak, here on the behalf of an acquaintance he would respond in regards to his purpose. Lacking the information, the messenger would quickly address his knowledge of Akira, mentioning he is only here to relay a message from a ‘her’, that this particular person knew of Akira rather than himself. Curiosity strikes Akira. The boy is essentially non-existent in terms of reputation, but this acquaintance of his knew of the myth incredibly well. Did La Spada misspoke about the myth? The boy wasn’t sure. But his curiosity, his cautious would quickly change as Kuma would speak about searching for the ponegylphs, or as he would call – the stones of history. He would recall.

La Spada said:
“If that old hag is half the pirate she is known for, she must know or have a Poneglyph. Get me that information…!”
Words from La Spada, while he didn’t have time to acknowledge her words in a midst of a battle, he recalled something similar, after having thrown into a long drawn out battle, his own focus on the battle have made him forget about what La Spada has told him. But now such memories would be clear as day. La Spada have spoken of the stones back in Wano after the takeover from the Beast Pirates. She wanted those stones found. What for, the boy did not know. He has no interest in the contents of these stones himself. Her obsession on these stones however, is well represented before attacking the Big Mom Pirates. To the boy, poneglyphs and the stones meant the same thing. But what is more important isn’t the poneglyphs, it is how the acquaintance knew of Akira’s goals. Something that Akira himself, have never really spoke about beyond a few. It would require someone to be spying upon Akira with his battle against Mihawk, or at the Valley of Peace. This truly set the boy off – his aura intensifies. No one else should be aware of Akira’s goals. But this lady of sorts knew. Bartholomew Kuma would quickly end his words, withdrawing his gloves from his hand – a paw. He would send Akira to the location of the stones.

“And who is this acquaintance of yours?”

Akira asked, though given how Kuma refers the person as mere acquaintance means that he is unlikely to answer the question, that the person would prefer to be anonymous, perhaps for this very reason. The chance is practically nil. But perhaps the tyrant himself would give it away. He didn’t really have much interest in the stones and only his goal, yet this acquaintance would connect his goals with such stones despite the impossibility. Who is she?

Should the Shichibukai answer, the boy would likely think deeper about the name – but should he not answer the boy would only quietly sigh. Regardless of either outcomes, the killing intent would very quickly disappear. He couldn’t be sure. But contemplating for a short while, how the historical stones would help him seems impossible. But this person held information that even Akira isn’t sure of. It is a chance. And he cannot let go of that chance.

“Fine.”

The boy would finally respond to the Shichibukai. To see what the fate has in store for him. He trusted the Shichibukai and his acquaintance for now, something that an Assassin is unlikely to ever do. Yet this would speak volumes. His goal has driven the young boy to incredible lengths to achieve it. An ambition that is perhaps the most unexpected.

Whole Cake Island - #3

The Fated Meeting - Floating Island
A fated meeting. La Spada spoke eerily to the Incantations, demanding, or asking, to be led to Big Mom, to Mama. A gift, she had. The Incantations spoke to each other before acquiescing, leading the way out of the Seducing Woods. Minutes turned to hours. The trek was long, yet La Spada could feel some5ing big on the horizon. After having invaded Whole Cake Island, La Spada and her crew had gone on a spree. That spree was halted by the big prize herself, and The Grim was sent tunneling to the depths. Here, and now, revenge would rear its ugly head. La Spada would not be denied.

The group stopped short of the horizon, the two islands in view.
[La Spada] “Kuhahahahahahaha…. The Fated Meeting! This is where everything will be decided!”

With that manic laugh and scream, La Spada’s voice swept through the plains. Likely not heard by Big Mom or Kaido, Kallavan might hear. Confirmation that their paths would keep finding each other, here, in the final battle for Supremacy. The islands had aura that covered them, overbearing, unmistakable. The King of Beasts. The Queen of Pirates. The Old Generation awaited to decide this sea’s future once and for all.

With a gentle spin, La Spada unsheathed her sword, intent on cutting down, soul on her blade, each of the Incantations - Big Mom’s soul would not survive. A feeling she would savor, before making her way to the island, present in tow. A present for the great Big Mom. A present for her funeral.

Enter the Reckoning.
