Fate was running its course. Directed by Sasaki Kallavan walked towards his destiny and his destination. His face showed resolution and the man was level headed. He wasn't as strict as he was when he entered this island. The toxic anger that always hung in the back was no more, fully unleashed by Spada and finally controlled by Kallavan. Now true anger flew through his body, an emotion he could call upon to temper himself but no longer would he be consumed by it.

Kallavan would finally come to a stop, observing the massive island before him. Clouds controlling the two lands and keeping them afloat. The Admiral knew, instinctively that one of them was for Spada. The opposite one was for him, there his target awaited.

The strongest creature in the world.
Yonkou Kaido.

Kallavan would close his eyes and exhaled through his nose, anxiety and stress also flew through his veins. But he could control them. He'd look up and whatever would happen here would be a story to go down in history.

"Let's go Thorkell."

A single step to draw destiny closer. And for the Herald to awaken his true might.

The two islands floated in the sky, held in place by rolling clouds of flame. A storm set the scene, with roaring thunder and crackling lightning filling the background. Atop those two floating islands were a man and a woman. Two that had known each other since they were young, and have since become rivals, as well as Captains of opposing pirate crews. Two pirates that defined their eras. Charlotte Linlin, known as Big Mom. Kaidou, known as The Strongest Creature. Now, they would both fight their own enemies, alone.

La Spada and Kallavan approached the two floating islands by land, now staring up at them from a good kilometer or so away. The distance between La Spada and Kallavan was notable as well, so whether they saw each other or not was anyone's guess - but it was likely that, at least instinctively, they knew of each other's presence. Both Big Mom and Kaidou noticed their adversaries arrive. And neither of them waited.

Big Mom saw her Incantations cut down and raised the palm of her hand up at the sky. Hera flew up into the thunderclouds, where the storm started to rumble. Hera's lightning coursed through the black thunderclouds, rolling around, accumulating. Then, it was suddenly unleashed. A thunderstorm exploded forth from the skies, coming down toward land. Many lightning bolts started to ravage the landscape, creating powerful explosions as far as the eye could see. There was little room to escape, and the destruction was widespread. The lightning bolts continued to rain down.

On his island, Kaidou had undergone a transformation, transforming into his massive Dragon form. Due to his sheer size, he could be seen well from afar, floating above his own island. The dragon's eyes were sharp and far seeing, and they were set upon Kallavan, who was kilometers down below. Flames started to roll within Kaidou's massive mouth, building up, increasing in intensity. Then, when the flames were ready, they erupted forth from Kaidou's mouth. A massive beam of fire descended, scorching the lands below. On contact, the beam would erupt, sweeping the landscape with a wave of fire that burned everything down. Truly an attack befitting of the strongest.

But it was not the Yonkous' Devil Fruits that made them feared. It was their Hakis. Black Busou-shoku no Haki coursed through both the lightning and the fire, the two Yonkous making it clear they were not ready to forfeit their dominance of the seas.

The Shichibukai's hand inched closer and closer to Akira, and the young Assassin had an incredibly difficult choice to make. The powers of the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi were such that a single mistake could lead to extremely dire circumstances. Akira asked who this acquaintance of Kuma's was, but the answer that came would likely not mean anything to Akira. He did not have the age of his Captain, La Spada, who would definitely recognize the name, and growl at it.

The bloodhound...

Kuma said, the palm of his hand coming in contact with Akira. In an instant, the young Assassin was gone, vanished from sight. Kuma had teleported him away. The large Shichibukai placed the glove back on his hand and walked away.

A paw shaped air bubble was seen flying through the skies of Whole Cake Island. Akira was inside the bubble, conscious and able to see Big Mom's massive empire stretching out underneath him. The bubble suddenly took a dive, and Akira was sent crashing toward the base of the Whole Cake Chateau. On impact, the bubble would burst, but no harm would come to Akira. Instead, he would find himself on the first floor of the Whole Cake Chateau, standing in a paw shaped crater. Why had Kuma sent him here? That was up to Akira to find out.

Sasaki was seen flying over Whole Cake Island. He was riding Zeus, his new friend, the Thundercloud. In the distance, many kilometers away, Sasaki and Zeus saw the two floating islands, held in place by the rolling clouds of flame. Zeus wouldn't be able to see Big Mom and Kaidou from such a distance away, but Sasaki could tell they were there. He could also tell both La Spada and Kallavan were about to engage with them. But there was no sense for Sasaki to meddle. He would not be able to change the outcome. Instead, he had to find it. The Poneglyphs. Before La Spada could finish Big Mom off.

It annoyed Sasaki that he could not tell the truth to Zeus. The inevitable truth that his mama would perish on this day. But, there was nothing to be done, and Zeus rushing into his own death would not change anything. They had work to do now.

So you've found a new home inside the monkey king's staff huh...

Sasaki said, looking down at Zeus.

There is heaven in there!

Zeus remarked, noting his compatibility with the monkey king's staff - a strange weapon able to produce thunderclouds and other weather phenomena.

I'm glad you're enjoying yourself. Over there, Zeus-kun!

Sasaki said, pointing down below toward the base of the Whole Cake Chateau.

That's where we need to go...

Sasaki said and Zeus changed trajectory, descending down below.

Kallavan approached his fated island only to come to a halt a kilometre or so away from it. Lightning erupted from the island to the side and a massive dragon finally revealed itself from the other. Winds started to howl, water across the entire island started to revolt violently. Lightning was summoned against Spada in a fever of rage Charlotte Lillin cast down lighting upon her enemy. And Kaido would do the very same, fire gathered within his mouth, moments away from scorching the lands down below.

Kallavan looked on with calm to a terrifyingly degree. There was no shock on his face, no bewilderment and certainly no fear. Even the quiet anger he had displayed against Sasaki was gone. His face revealed everything a man needed to know.

An inferno was launched towards him, a sea of flames was closing in on him. He'd set his jaw and exhaled sharply, the small white fox instinctively moved towards the Admiral's head and hung on for dear life. And then the Admiral moved aiming to clash with the beam of pure fire.

With a dash turned into a leap, Kallavan flew through the air. Right arm cocked to his side and hand balled into a fist, haki covering it. Next it shook with tremendous energy as it bulked up in size. This was not his tekkai limit technique but his display at being able to used hybrid variations of his zoan form at will. The man flew with his attack at the ready and closed his eyes.

His fist shook with power, incredible power. So much so that black lighting started to spark off it. This lightning rampant and uncontrolled buffeted the surrounding ground. But soon would come control and a first step to awakening.
"Commander."
"Chief"
"Admiral Kallavan"
"Kallavan-san"
"My King"
"We believe in you, son"

All of Kallavan's experiences and memories rolled into one action. The black lightning shrunk down and compressed itself around Kallavan fist and the man's eyes shot widen open.

"TAIHOU!"

120: 5. Town Level +3(A) +3(Haki) +1 Haoshoku. = 12. Large Continent Level

Taihou = Divine Cannon
Energy erupted from Kallavan's fist and from it a vastly dense compressed pocket of air was launched. So dense in fact that it could cleave through most material in front of it. And this beam of fire was no exception. Dark lightning crashed onto the ground as it travelled, the air blast itself flew through the Boro breath and crumbled it from within. Slicing it cleanly in half and even evaporating any embers left in its wake. The pocket of air even managed to make it all the way to Kaido's location. But fortunately for the Yonko by the time it arrived there it turned to a mere gust of wind right before his very face.

A dire warning for the Yonko.

Kallavan would eventually land back onto the ground. The tip of his left foot would land first with grace and control. His other foot would soon follow and the man would resume his movement to the island. He'd walk and eventually shift into airwalk if necessary. Even from throne high up in the air, Kaido would feel it.

Two eyes stabbing him like knives.

WCI – Unknown Island -> Chateau #4
@Kaka

The boy could only wait – it is naturally a difficult decision to make. His life is in a way left to the Shichibukai after all. But the boy made the decision he believed to be right. Nervous and anxiety of the boy would crack, but subtle – behind his suit covering up his visible discomfort could not be seen. But unsure of where he is actually sent to, having never experienced being forcefully sent an unknown location and that he wasn’t completely sure if the Shichibukai’s words are even the truth. But the boy would only prepare himself for that. As the palm of the Shichibukai’s hand made contact with the boy, Kuma would finally reveal the name of his acquaintance, in the form of a title. Bloodhound.

In that instant, Akira disappeared from the scene. The boy’s vision flashed rapidly. And from the island he once stood it would no longer be seen. A paw-like bubble he would stood in, the boy travelled rapidly, and soon he would make sighting of a new island. Housed with several cakes towering even from the horizons, it is Whole Cake Island itself, though the name of the island and the island itself isn’t recognizable to the boy, he wasn’t sure what island is what in the first place. Though he only recognizes the whole place is merely called Totto Land and that one island is central to Big Mom, that is Whole Cake Island, such connections is really well-drawn to the boy. This is his first time on this archipelago. But soon, the boy would rapidly approach a towering cake itself, taller than the rest. The bubble took a dive as it descends upon the tower, surprising the boy.

“….!”

The bubble would finally crash into the cake, though surprisingly not soft that is actually made out of well... cake. But rather a structural building, a castle. In its crash, the bubble withstood it’s landing, also surprising for the boy. He would arrive at the chateau unknowingly and relatively unharmed. A paw-like crater would be seen on the feet of the boy. The boy, observed the interior. He is somewhere close to the bottom of this castle, that much he is sure of, though which floor or level the boy wasn’t sure. However, knowing that is a towering building – the boy would have two options. Climb the castle or get to the bottom.

“Probably hidden...…”

Akira mutter under his breath. Anything valuable would probably be hidden well enough. The floor and level is likely nothing relevant in the grand schemes of things. The boy would have to search what would be the most protected, or in places no one expects to look. But at the same time, it’s a tower so things may also be hidden at the top. The boy would sigh. There is no way for him to know, his only way is to explore this castle, though alone he is for now – who knows who else may be in this place. His hands gripped tightly on the hilt of Twilight’s Edge, his senses focused. He would began to explore this floor, to look for a way up.

Whole Cake Island - #4

The Fated Meeting - Floating Island
Two floating islands. Two Emperors. Two challengers. The Generations would put it all on the line. A battle for supremacy of the seas. The Worst Generation had come. The new generation of pirates was led by a foul woman, a being of evil, a conduit of revenge. It is the living who should not be among the dead. The dead approached. Carrying the will of thousands, the anger of thousands, the seas would blacken with that woman at the helm. Yet, today, there was only one Queen. One Queen of the seas. Big Mom had ruled as such for decades, unchallenged. That would change today. Enter La Spada.

From a kilometer away, The Grim approached. Big Mom wasted no time on words. From the sky, hell would be unleashed. The camera took a shot of La Spada’s face, those infamous lucious lips curling a grin. The lightning and explosions ravaged the area. Shortky after, the smoke cleared among the craters.

Suddenly, slow and deliberate footsteps broke the eerie silence. Through the smoke, a figure slowly approached the Yonko.

Enter La Spada. The infamous woman walked calmly, confident, her cloak flapping behind her. La Spada appeared unscathed. Only the hook on her left hand was charred, glowing faintly with Big Mom’s spirit, with her haki. The Grim had dodged the lightning strikes with her boney agility and legendary speed. The few that she could not dodge found her hook used to clash, absorbing Big Mom’s haki. With just lightning remaining, it had no effect on bones, it’s power robbed.

Those boney feet stopped a few meters from the Yonko, the camera zooming on the woman’s corroding lips.
[La Spada] “It’s rude to not bring present to ah’ family wedding. My dear LinLin, please accept my sincerest gift.”
A boxed present was thrown to Big Mom’s feet, or just below the cloud she rode. If Big Mom did not open it, a blast of aura from La Spada would blow the box open. Propping from confetti and gift paper, were four (4) round objects. The 14th daughter and Sweet Commander, Smoothie. The 25th son and Sweet Commander, Snack. The third son, Daifuku. The third daughter, Amande. Their heads rolled off the box, their eyes clamped open. La Spada had opened their eyes and mouth, gaping open and staring upwards at Big Mom.

A morbid declaration of war. Enter the dead.

[La Spada] “Did I say wedding? I meant… ah’ family funeral. Are yah’ ready to join yah’ filthy children, mah’ dear?”

The lightning storm ravaged the area down below, unleashing powerful explosions of lightning that covered the area in craters, smoke and embers. But, La Spada's boney feet walked through the destruction, undeterred. As the Smoke Cleared, La Spada was seen continuing her approach. There's nothing that could stop this confrontation. This clash of the strongest women in the world. Before long, La Spada would arrive up on the floating island. With still a fair distance between them, La Spada stopped, speaking to Big Mom.
[La Spada] “It’s rude to not bring present to ah’ family wedding. My dear LinLin, please accept my sincerest gift.”
La Spada said, warranting Big Mom's attention. Big Mom narrowed her eyes, watching carefully as La Spada took out a box. She threw it to the ground - it landing not far away from Big Mom. Big Mom would not open it. She had been a target of assassinations her whole life. But, La Spada did it for her. A burst of will snapped the box open, and what rolled out was utterly gruesome. The 14th daughter and Sweet Commander, Charlotte Smoothie. The 25th son and Sweet Commander, Charlotte Snack. The third son, Charlotte Daifuku. The third daughter, Charlotte Amande. The heads of four of Big Mom's children rolled onto the ground. Big Mom's eyes slowly started to open wider and wider, a look of utter shock and horror on her face. Big Mom's eyes started to whirl, and memories of her children started to flood her head.

Big Mom was a monstrous mother, one that even her children feared. But, it was still family. There was nothing more important to Big Mom, than her family. A sharp pain shot through Big Mom's head as she fell to one knee, holding her head.

M-Mama...!

Mama are you ok?!

Prometheus and Hera asked in concern, seeing their mama in severe pain. The other knee hit the floor right after, and Big Mom's other hand reached up. Now she was on her knees, holding her head with both of her hands - in pain. Looking at the very ground in front of her, and the four heads that rested upon it, Big Mom's eyes started to turn blank. Her breathing became heavy. The stress coursing through her body becoming more and more overwhelming.

Until suddenly, Big Mom snapped.

WRAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Mom roared. Her voice. Her Conqueror's Haki. They reached multiple kilometers in every direction, reaching as far as the floating island where Kaidou and Kallavan were, as well as down below, where Whole Cake Island was. Soundwave after soundwave rippled out in circles, reaching every corner of the island, as Big Mom continued to scream in pain. The scream was highpitched, carrying overwhelming power and grief. Everything around would face destruction under the overwhelming soul of Big Mom, and the rage that her soul now embodied. Big Mom rose to her feet, looking at La Spada, who was a distance away. Big Mom's eyes were not red, like they were in her anger and hunger pangs. Instead, her eyes were normal, but filled with absolute rage and bloodlust. Big Mom's rage carried over to Prometheus and Hera, as well as Napoleon. Her Homies flew to her. Prometheus merged with Big Mom's hair, turning her hair into an infernal blaze. Hera remained close to Big Mom, always flating next to her left shoulder. Crackling with lightning, Hera, too, was angered. Napoleon was in Big Mom's right hand, transforming into his Seax form.

Big Mom pushed off of the ground, hurling herself toward La Spada. Once the distance was closed and Big Mom towered over La Spada, she swung Napoleon vertically downward, unleashing a mighty swing. Black Busou-shoku no Haki clad Napoleon, and advanced Conqueror's Haki crackled around him. Big Mom was not holding back - the swing carrying enough power to engrave a fissure multiple kilometers long into the ground of the floating island.

@Guren

Kaidou's fire breath rolled down from the floating island, aiming to incinerate everything below. A signature attack of the dragon, it was one powerful enough to hollow out a mountain, turning it into a molten wasteland. One strong man stood in its way. Kallavan went forward, taking Kaidou's attack head on. With immense power accumulating in his fist, Kallavan swung. A compressed shockwave of air, energy and Haki erupted forth from Kallavan's fist, colliding with the descending Bolo Breath. The two attacks were equal in might, but they did not struggle for supremacy. Instead, like a thin needle, Kallavan's focused, sharp attack cut through the middle of the Bolo Breath, splitting it in half as the compressed shockwave raced up toward Kaidou. By the time Kallavan's attack reached Kaidou, only a gust of wind remained. No power - but there was purpose behind it. Kallavan made a statement.

''I can reach you.''

Kallavan, having landed on the ground, pushed off softly. Through the use of Geppou, Kallavan made his way up to the floating island in the sky, where Kaidou awaited. Kaidou could feel Kallavan's sharp eyes on his very skin - like a thousand needles were poking him. Kallavan, now, was an embodiment of power. A bottomless well of unlimited power trapped inside his warrior body. And yet, Kaidou was not one that could be intimidated. When Kallavan reached the ground, Kaidou was waiting in his human form. The two warriors were a few dozen meters away from one another. Lightning crackled in the sky behind them, and thunder roared. The flowing flame clouds continued to hold the island up in the sky, but also served to illuminate the islnd up here, where the dark, stormy sky offered little light. The apocalyptic scene served to set the mood of a fight that undoubtedly, was a pinnacle of rivalry between piracy and the World Government.

Wororororo... you've reached me.

Kaidou said, noticing a change in Kallavan. Yes, they had fought before. Twice, in fact. But Kallavan was never a match. And Kaidou knew it. It was only now, that Kallavan has finally reached Kaidou. Big Mom's scream of grief, upon seeing the rolling heads of her four children, presented by La Spada, finally reached the island where Kaidou and Kallavan were on. Kaidou looked over, too far to see anything - but he knew Big Mom was angered.

Looks like Linlin is getting started over there as well.

Let's do this...

Kaidou said. He was not filled with rage and grief, like Big Mom was in this moment. Instead, Kaidou was excited. Has he finally met his match? It felt like it - but he wouldn't believe it, until it was proven to him.

Come, young warrior.

Bartholomew Kuma. The Tyrant. The Shichibukai. In a split second, he was gone from Totto Land. He had come carrying Sensui Oldgate's will, leaving a message for Sasaki. Secondly, he had come to meet Akira, delivering a message from the Bloodhound, as well as setting him and sending him onto the right path. And with that, he was gone.

Akira found himself at the base of the Whole Cake Chateau, standing in a massive, paw shaped crater. Kuma had brought him there, but now it was up to Akira to find his way. Little did he know, help was on the way.

As Akira looked around, wondering whether he should climb the tower, or go underground, Sasaki arrived, riding on top of Zeus. He shouted, summoning Akira's attention.

Long time no see there...!

Sasaki said, flying past Akira and cutting him off. He jumped off of Zeus, landing on the ground - with Zeus disappearing into the monkey king's staff soon thereafter.

I heard you met him as well...

Sasaki said, speaking about Akira's run in with Bartholomew Kuma. An eater of the Goro Goro no Mi and a master of Kenbun-shoku no Haki, Sasaki was able to hear everything in Totto Land. Though Akira wouldn't know it.

He sent you here to look for Poneglyphs. Time to fess up, young man.

Sasaki said, his eyes sharpening, looking at Akira from underneath his hat. Sasaki's gaze was piercing, he was serious.

Are you here to do La Spada's bidding? Because if you are...

I will have to stop you right here, right now.

Kallavan had arrived at his platform. And stared Kaido straight into the eye, Titan vs Titan the two warriors would look at one another. Thorkell, the white pet fox, would feel that it was for the better to hide away and move to a safe location. Far away to not be caught in the battle but still close to observe. The creature was sharp and could look for safety when it was required. Kaido looked upon Kallavan, but it seemed the Yonko didn't really notice anything different, or he didn't really care for it. Perhaps he honestly didn't expect anything to change. Kallavan felt the latter from observing the Yonko's posture and behaviour. He'd clench his fists as lightning crashed all around them. The flash from one of the nearby bolts would cause a trigger. A quick flashback to that memory he had honestly wished to have never seen before in his life.

Kaido, in that particular instance, was swapped with Sakazuki. Kallavan could feel the heat again from that fateful day, his home ablaze and the odour of smoke and sulphur overwhelmed his senses. Another flash of lightning would hit the area, returning Kallavan to reality. Now his arms were in front of him, hands clenching so tightly into fists that blood seeped out of his grip.

"You, Big Mom. The Seven Warlords and those that uphold Dark Justice. I've had it up to here with all of you. All of it. No more. No longer will I sit by the sidelines. I refuse to be held back by orders of those who put a curtain before their eyes. Only wanting to see what fits within their narrow mind."

Kallavan said, anger seethed out of him. Kaido could feel it as well. But it was different from the earlier anger he had displayed against the Yonko. The anger he had shown last time was more on the degree of madness. This time it was pure anger, but it was controlled. This time it was pure fury. Black lightning coated his fists as it travelled around his body. The ground beneath his feet cracked upon this dark lightning which Kaido would recognize as Kings haki.

"Calm. Kindness. Kinship. Love. I’ve given up all chance at inner peace. I’ve made my mind a sunless space. I share my dreams with ghosts. "

A trigger. An unknown variant which nobody could really explain. But suddenly Kallavan would shift into his hybrid form and his blond hair would shoot up and became more prominent. This new shade of gold flickered in and out of existence while Kallavan seemed to slip into something utterly terrifying.

"TODAY I shall burn my life!
FOR A BETTER TOMORROW!!!"

"UAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Kallavan shouted and finally at long last. The young warrior let loose of all the reigns he was desperately holding onto. Fear of turning into that creature he was at the start of this journey. But he no longer cared his regrets, anger and passion held his sanity in check and from that a warrior would emerge, a warrior that would change the marines for the betterment. Black lightning engulfed the young man as an actual lightning bolt crashed besides Kallavan obscuring him from view.

Calmness soon returned to the battlefield and while a curtain of smoke and dust obscured the young Kallavan it soon faded by the harsh winds that buffeted this platform. And before long Kallavan's odd transformation was shown in full. Dark lightning continuously sparked from his body, his hair was completely upright and turned into a brighter colour than usual. His face showed a degree of anger but the young man was no longer consumed by hatred and rage. This was a fury perfected. This was Ultra Ego. And it was a state of being Kaido would recognize but he wouldn't have the time to think about it, not any longer.

"KAAAAAAAAAAIDO!"

The young man screamed at the top of his lungs before dashing off in a mad fury. The lightning lagging behind as if it couldn't keep up with Kallavan's speed. And before Kaido knew it the young man would vanish from view only to arrive at his right, arm already cocked back and primed with haki, fist shaking with wrath and power.

"SHOT GUN!"
120: 5. Town Level +3(A) +3(Haki) = 11. Small Continent Level
Kallavan shouted unleashing a powerful right sided punch aimed cleanly at Kaido's respective cheek, the first containing immense power as Hashokken would reverberate throughout the Yonkou's body. And to make matters worse for the Yonko he could no longer read Kallavan. His presence, his aura, it was all gone. Like a flame to a candle it was snuffed out. It completely negated Kaido's usage of mantra. No matter what he'd try he'd not be able to see anything. It would not activate and even if he forcefully did, it would show him complete darkness as if he was fighting nobody.

The battle for the fate of the world started with fury and passion.

Where instead of selflessness one's presence explodes onto the battlefield, augmenting all of their drive and emotions: fighting spirit/will to fight, bloodlust, anger, hatred, malevolence, drive and animosity. A polar opposite of the selfless state but has the same desired effect. Due to the overwhelming nature of the Self-Indulgent state an opponent's sensory goes off the chart unable to perceive what is an actual threat and what is not. While the selfless state is visualized by a standing tree the self indulgent state is visualized by a wildfire, potential threat is everywhere.

While in this state, it severely limits the results of observation haki users in detecting Kallavan's attacks. Rendering FS and precognition void for the duration.

This state runs for 5 turns and has a CD of 2. Requires absolute mastery in MA.

The boy would start to look around; his considerations of the right path took him awhile to make a decision. With that he would start to look for a way up, using his own set of logic and conclusions to derive into that idea that wherever this stone tablet would be, would be at the higher levels. And such the boy started to explore his current floor. But before long, a whooshing sound would be heard rapidly from his back, and with that sound a voice would quickly attract his attention as the boy turned slightly towards the back, where the source of the voice be. A cloud would immediately fly past above the boy as a man jumped off from the cloud before it would dissipate into a staff. The voice was rather… familiar, though the boy has no recollection of.

I heard you met him as well…

The boy’s eyes opened, though visibly hidden with his raid suit covering. Heard? The man said. As he continued to talk about searching for Poneglyphs. But how would this man know? The conversation as far as Akira is concerned, is essentially a private one where no one else is around. Observing the man for a second, even with the hat – he could roughly recall the man’s identity, his mind struck a specific person’s memory slowly. The white long hair in particular. It was that older man back in Wano. Sasaki’s identity is effectively unknown to Akira, unaware of the man’s affiliation with the World Government. Not that the boy has met many Marines, bar Kallavan himself. His identity requires him to work more within the shadows of La Spada, thus getting contact with them means trouble. More so than an ordinary pirate would have. The boy’s awareness became focused and concentrated. He does not like the man one bit. What else does he know? The boy wasn’t sure.

The man continues to speak, asking if he were under orders of La Spada to be here, and that he would fiercely gaze upon Akira, before he would try to stop him if he were to do so – speaking in a serious tone. The boy became silent for a few seconds, not responding to Sasaki’s question. But soon he would raise his sword up, Twilight’s Edge – a powerful sword found in the Valley of Peace, Sasaki would likely note the change in sword, that if he had pay attention back to the sword Akira wielded, Muramasa – was stained in blood, giving a red edge. This particular sword however, is mostly blue and even lacking a guard – giving a more oriental design. The blade started to glow even brighter in blue as black smoke starts to emanate from the blade. In a simple swing of his sword, the boy swung against the air, wind would respond violently to his blade before being pushed away. The motion did not hit Sasaki in every way, but as a swordsman – he would likely already know what the boy’s answer would entail.

“So what if I am?”

The boy coldly responds. While he is only being partially truthful – La Spada did command him to find the poneglyph but the truth is making use of that order to find a opportunity. A method to defeat La Spada. Sasaki having managed to overheard the conversation itself may have become a large problem to Akira, however the boy has no intention of making his goals known to Sasaki regardless of that fact. Simply put, Akira has no reason to trust nor believe in Sasaki at all. The boy tested the injury of his other arm, painful. But it is slowly dissipating, though if it’s broken then soon he would reach the point where the level of pain became a constant, and it would only be that the boy would simply have to endure the pain until then. Having seen Sasaki in combat in Wano, the boy knew – he is powerful. However, even with only one working arm to say the least, the boy wasn’t afraid. An opportunity is presented to him to learn of a way to defeat La Spada; the boy would do everything it takes to get to the poneglyph no matter how dangerous it would be. That is his ambition.

Yare yare...

Sasaki sighed, looking at the man in front of him. It seemed that he was indeed here to look for Poneglyphs, and he was with La Spada. Sasaki had been told by Sensui Oldgate's spirit to come look for the Poneglyphs - however, it was to stop La Spada.

Did La Spada send this man here to prevent that from happening? Whatever the case was, it looked like a fight for the Poneglyphs was inevitable and unavoidable. The man in front of Sasaki readied himself, wielding his sword. Sasaki's right hand reached for his back, wielding the monkey king's staff.

I cannot let you find the Poneglyphs.

Sasaki said, making his intentions clear to Akira. Lightning started to crackle around Sasaki's legs. Rings of electricity surrounded his ankles and Sasaki widened his stance, bending his knees.

He pushed off of the ground, blitzing toward Akira. Sasaki moved with the speed of lightning, closing the distance in a matter of a split moment. Once in front of Akira, but outside of the range of his sword, Sasaki swung the monkey king's staff horizontally downward, aiming to slam it down onto Akira's left shoulder. Black Busou-shoku no Haki clad the monkey king's staff, and Hasshouken vibrations reverberated around it, lending the strike great power.

Upon contact, the Hasshouken vibrations would be unleashed, creating a powerful shockwave that reverberated outward, blowing everything away.

The Fated Meeting - Floating Island
Enter the Dead. Enter Big Mom’s children. Welcome to tha’ family funeral. In a morbid declaration, with no mercy on its effect, The Grim showed LinLin her handiwork, the severed heads of her children, staring at the Yonko with pleads for help that screamed, but never came. The souls were gone - banished. La Spada had taken away many of Big Mom’s children. The biggest family in the seas had seen a rift, their children murdered. An inmoral show of distaste, of retribution, of mental torture, of… equalizer.

Big Mom went into a frenzy. This one was controlled, but a pang nonetheless. The will of the Queen of the seas was so thick, it even made La Spada take a few steps back, struggling to keep ground. Big Mom had not just been angered - she was hurt. In a showing that would make it know why she was the Queen of Pirates, the monster stepped forward, transforming her Homie, clad in terrible haki.

[La Spada] “Yah’ should have killed me when yah’ had the chance. Last time we fought… I learned how. ”
La Spada drew her Shodai Kitetsu blade, her eyes fading from a quick flashback, before her conqueror’s spirit ran through the blade; a likely shock to Big Mom. A step forward, a slash in the shape of G-cleft, and the swords met without touch.
Terrible haki spawned off all directions, making the island rumble. Kaido and Kallavan would feel the jealousy, the two women had already went all-out without a second thought, guided by their hate for each other. The sky over Whole Cake Island split, forming a chasm that draped a long dark shadow over the battlefield. La Spada spoke of learning through battle. It was then she saw it, nay, felt it. La Spada had felt Big Mom’s Kingly Will over her blade, taking the blow. Only through a life-or-death battle could the Conqueror Color be trained. Big Mom had near killed La Spada, sending her to the depths. Yet, defeat was the best teacher.

La Spada wielded the Color of Conquerors. The Grim was no longer a mere nuisance - she was an equal rival with the Queen. The Shadow Yonko.

However, in this first clash, it was the Queen who emerged victorious. While La Spada met her strength and haki, Big Mom had something stronger: emotion. The power behind her attack reflected her pang, and sent La Spada reeling back. The boney body of The Grim careened various times, crashing as it flipped through the cold floor. Eventually, La Spada stopped, face-down. With naught a second, those bones shook, the Devil slowly rising, her face in an unnerved malicious grin. The Grim’s felt LinLin’s pain.

La Spada’s voice was not just dark, they were broken, quivering, eyes manic.

[La Spada] “Feel it, LinLin. Tha’ helplessness. Tha’ anger. Tha’ hate. Let it coarse through yah’ body and nurture yah’ soul. Get a glimpse of mah’ hell. We have lost thousands. We are LEGION!!”
The equalizer. La Spada would have LinLin feel a taste of the torture Isis greeted every second.

With a blast of Conqueror’s will, the very earth shook. La Spada’s boney body glowed velvet black. The burst released was not of one, but of hundreds. Big Mom could finally feel there was not one soul… there were many. The pain and hate of legion bearing down on a soul, ushering power through hate. This was not a pirate: this was Hate Incarnate.

La Spada raised her blade menacingly, causing a light ice mist to envelop her. Through it, the Grim’s voice echoed.
[La Spada] “Tha’ is why yah’ will fall today. Mah’ pain is stronger THAN YOURS!!!

The boy spoke, he wasn’t going to let anyone stop him. Even if it is someone as powerful as him, even if the boy is injured. His goal is somewhere in this chateau, nothing short of death would persuade him out of it. His seriousness matches Sasaki’s own. Sasaki would only sigh in response, he would reach out to his own weapon behind him – a staff. His motion to reach out to his weapon became enough of an indication that neither side would bulge, that the elderly man would continue his attempts to stop Akira. Within his raid suit, Akira starts to transform into his other alternate hybrid form, the wing membranes would start to form from Akira’s arms to his pits up till the sides of his upper chest. He couldn’t use the other form due to his injured arm, but this form would allow him to make use of his one single arm left, and his weapon. In the midst of his transformation that Sasaki would declare his intentions, lightning crackles under his feet before Sasaki would rush straight towards Akira at lightning speed.

The man would close in onto Akira in split seconds, using his longer weapon to stay out of reach of Akira’s own sword – the man swung the staff, clad in black horizontally down towards Akira’s left. The boy, quickly to his own defense, turn towards the staff and brought his sword to block the swing single-handed, his weapon already clads in Haki, though unlike Sasaki’s, the indication of its bright blue glow and smoke would indicate Haki being applied. His body would twist further to better support his own arm as his other arm moved towards the back – Sasaki would likely have taken notice upon the single-hand use of his weapon, Akira’s free hand, his left arm wasn’t used at all. Whether it could be due to confidence, injury or keeping something hidden. Regardless of which, the offense and defense between both side would seem to meet in equal force with Sasaki even slightly pushing harder than the boy’s, until Akira’s transformation became complete. His strength would start to equalize, before eventually starting to push back. The boy, as he defended himself would start to push the staff towards the left, his foot would take a step back with his left foot.

Within seconds, Akira would take a small second step with his right foot inwards towards Sasaki, he would slightly twist his sword horizontally, causing the sharper blade edge to shift facing at Sasaki whilst still pushing his staff away. In just seconds of movement, Akira suddenly accelerated, jumping towards Sasaki’s right side - away from the staff’s reach and Sasaki out of both range. At the same time, Akira swung his blade horizontally towards Sasaki, using the staff as a guide to slide the sword – the range of his sword would not physically reach Sasaki as Akira moves away to the side, but the boy would quickly fire an air blade essentially at point blank as he swung, likely forcing Sasaki to defend himself directly. In his current position moving his staff would take a moment, but that short amount of time would be enough for Akira to react if Sasaki swung his staff to attack him once more or essentially any actions.

Napoleon and Shodai Kitetsu clashed, their physical representations never touching. Instead, it was Big Mom's and La Spada's Conqueror's Hakis that collided. The collision generated massive force, which lashed out in the form of fissures that ran far and wide. The thundering skies above the floating island were starting to split, but the collision was short lasting. Whether it was Big Mom's giant body in contrast to La Spada's light, boney frame, or something else - but the grim was sent flying, skipping across the ground a distance away before coming to a stop. La Spada grinned, her soul showing with enough intensity that it could be seen by any onlooker. The mist, born of the Chill of the Underworld, surrounded La Spada and her cursed sword. The grim spoke, stating that the legion had lost thousands, and that it was La Spada's pain and rage that was greater - something that would ultimately end Big Mom's reign on this day. However, La Spada's words merely enraged the ruler of the Seas even more. With the heads of her children still imprinted in her mind, Big Mom's rage was boiling hotter and hotter.

You've harmed my family and wreaked havoc in my territory. I will show you what it means to rule the seas, you wench...!

Big Mom said. Destroying La Spada was an act that Big Mom was willing to be her last. She, Big Mom's soul, would not leave this plane, until La Spada was dead.

The inferno that was Big Mom's hair, merged with Prometheus, suddenly flared. A number of large fireballs were unleashed toward La Spada. Fire and black Busou-shoku no Haki formed the fireballs, and the attack aimed to carpet bomb La Spada's position. Hera's lightning flowed through Napoleon's blade, and Big Mom took a step forward. Unleashing a forward stabbing motion with Napoleon, Big Mom unleashed a powerful laser of energy and black Busou-shoku no Haki from Napoleon's tip, aiming to skewer La Spada from a distance.

With a grin on his face and a red glow on his cheeks, Kaidou, who was well liquored up, looked on as Kallavan underwent his transformation. Kaidou tightened his grip on the hilt of his kanabo in anticipation. A warrior's spirit was awakening within Kallavan, and he would come to clash with Kaidou's own warrior spirit. A true match of two gladiators, pushing for supremacy in what was the only art of war - a duel.

Worororo... it's been a long time.

Kaidou said to himself as Kallavan pushed off of the ground, disappearing from his position. He appeared on Kaidou's right, showing great instinct. He attacked the side where Kaidou's large, heavy weapon was, instead of the side where his free hand was, which would have been used to block. Kallavan's fist slammed into Kaidou's cheek, sending the large, hulking man reeling. At first, it appeared that Kallavan had landed a successful attack, however the distance that Kaidou was sent reeling was... short. With only a couple of extra feet now inbetween them, Kallavan would see dragon scales covering more and more of Kaidou's body - spreading throughout his body from the cheek which was struck.

But it's not enough...!

Kaidou pushed off of the ground, closing the distance rapidly. Once in front of Kallavan, Kaidou spun sideways, swinging his dragon tail toward Kallavan. Kaidou aimed to slam his tail into Kallavan's abdomen, sending him flying. Black Busou-shoku no Haki clad the tail and dragon scales tempered it, turning the tail into a powerful weapon.

The monkey king's staff and the Assassin's blade collided. Unlike the battles that raged on up in the sky, this clash seemed, while equally as powerful, much more focused and contained. There was great power in the clash, but also great control, leaving the Whole Cake Chateau largely unharmed for now.

Shifting his sword's position from a blocking one to an attacking one, Akira directed the sharp edge of the blade toward Sasaki and swung, sliding the blade up the monkey king's staff. Akira's attack was initiated at almost point blank range, and had a surprise factor to it - he did not intend to reach Sasaki, but instead aimed to extend the range of his swing by firing a flying slash. However, Akira's intentions appeared in Sasaki's Mind's Eye. A rare true master of Kenbun-shoku no Haki, and likely the greatest user of Kenbun-shoku no Haki in the world, Sasaki was able to see the future of Akira's intentions momentarily, and knew how to avoid the attack.

Pushing off of the ground Sasaki somersaulted over Akira as he fired the flying slash, avoiding the attack altogether. While upside down in the air, Sasaki slammed the tip of the monkey king's staff down onto the ground. As the tip of the staff hit the ground, arcs of lightning were unleashed from the staff in all directions, lashing out, electrocuting everything in range and blowing it away. To even Sasaki's own surprise, the arcs of lightning that lashed out, had Zeus' face on them. Zeus' soul was inside the arcs of lightning, making the lightning sentient. The tendrils of lightning would pursue if necessary, aiming to catch Akira.

Sasaki landed back on the ground, speaking.

Why do you do La Spada's bidding?

Sasaki asked, the look on his face that of contained anger. The evil that La Spada unleashed upon the world, did not need others helping. Instead, La Spada was the one who should be banished from the world.

Kallavan's shotgun would hit Kaido clean on the cheek with immense force. The hulk of a man would be sent reeling, or ordinarily he would've. But the Admiral's eyes narrowed upon observing the trademark blue shine. Dragon scales. Kallavan cursed within his own mind. What should've been a punch with incredible impact was significantly reduced, enough to only push back Kaido for perhaps a meter or two. With a dash the Yonkou would return the favour, going for an attack of his own. Kallavan would exhale and hunched himself slightly forward, knees bending and preparing for lift off.

Kallavan's eyes were wide open with an extreme level of concentration at display. Kaido moved and Kallavan nearly instinctively reacted to that singular movement the Yonkou made. Whether his Ultra Ego state had something to do with it was unclear at the time, but it was a fact that this form was Kallavan's highest level of combat readiness. Akin to an athlete being into the zone, diving deeper and deeper into the unknown. The Admiral that stood before Kaido previously was nothing compared to the one who stood before him now. That was as clear as day but even more so in his next action.

The Yonko arrived and in one smooth motion would turn and attempted a tail sweep right at Kallavan's abdomen. The young man would respond by quickly launching off his feet, jumping into the air. Whilst in the air Kallavan would spin, generating momentum, before kicking with his right leg. Putting all of his strength into the attack.

"RANKYAKU!" The Admiral bellowed.
120: 5. Town Level +4(S) +3(Haki) = 12. Large Continent Level
From the young man's right leg two energies mixed together, namely haki and physical power. Converging and latching off as he threw his leg forward. From that speed the contained haki would mutate the ordinarily pristine rankyaku. A normal blue colour was now turned jet black and moved towards Kaido with buzzing speed. Capable off cutting through steel and Pacifista steel with ease.

A true testament to the young man's status as grandmaster over the Rokushiki art.

Kallavan after his kick would eventually come back to the ground through various flips and rotations. The man was acting like a true acrobat all of a sudden. First his right leg would hit the ground and naturally his left would follow soon. His blond hair still up right but the vapour that had surrounded him was starting to settle. The Haoshoku electricity still coated him, sparking sporadically around the Admiral's body.

Enter the dead. The children of Big Mom laid out in corpses, eyes and mouth gaped open. Their severed heads were proof of the challenge. Big Mom was enraged, though kept her composure, relatively. The woman had launched La Spada back. The Grim got up, now hung with an eerie mist. This mist, made from her soul, had her ”voice” all around it, hard to discern where she truly was. Though the mind eye was rattled, the live eyes did not. La Spada did not hide - she presented herself as a shadow and cackled.

Big Mom shouted about her lost children, unleashing fireballs of haki. La Spada did not move an inch. The fireballs inched closer and closer to her boney face. The fire lit up The Grim’s face, making a comical face that would lead to one conclusion - La Spada intentionally took the hit.

A face for posterity.

The explosion rocked the area violently, sending Spada sprawling back into her thick mist, lost inside. The laser came next, without a clear target. Smoke had enveloped everything. As the mist thinned, yet still hung, La Spada’s shadow could be seen getting herself up from the ground. The Grim had tanked the first hit, with the second narrowly missing her as the fire explosion sent La Spada sprawling out of the target area. Again, La Spada had taken a hit, yet she stood. Her clothes charred, a small bone bruise on her chest, and some of her clothes still on fire, La Spada was ready to continue. A message.

Mental games. This was unlike before - La Spada was more than her equal. These first hits were to throw Big Mom off, make her understand the real risk, to settle in some fear. This could really be the Queen’s end. Mental torture would continue, as La Spada’s sarcastic voice took the area.

[La Spada] “Such pain. Yah’ family. It breaks mah’ heart that yah’ miss them so. Mah’ noble heart can’t take it! Yah’ making me cry! If yah’ miss them that much… I must oblige. ”

With a dramatic and sarcastic lore, boney hand on her nonexistent heart, La Spada pleaded to the heavens, speaking in a mocking demeanor. The Grim would dramatically raise her hand, a bass line of dark tones following. Big Mom, with her sensitivity for souls, would find two (2) familiar souls rattled, coming from the ground, from Hell. La Spada’s voice echoed as she slammed her hand against the ground.

Let the Underworld rise.

[La Spada] “Let’s start with ya’ girls. DAWN OF THE DEAD!!!”
Awakening. The Yomi’s power of revival stretches to the world. The area around La Spada beginan to wither, turning into a dark wasteland. A thick cold fog rolled and the ground turned black. From the ground, the dead rise. Souls of the dead, revived. Dozens of skeleton, fodders, surrounded Big Mom and La Spada, forming an army that enabled the dark ambiance. Two in particular stood in front of Big Mom and La Spada. Their bodies, skeletons. Their heads, the severed flesh of the Charlotte daughters: Amande and Smoothie.

Enter the Charlotte dead.
[La Spasa] “They’ve come back to say hello. Now, my sweet girls, say hello to Mama with tha’ last words before I cut yah’ to ribbons, will yah’?”

Let's go, brothers and sisters. Amande nodded.
Mama will bring our family salvation. She is the strongest. Greatest pirate in the world. Smoothie said with pride, as the two faded.
The words came through the clamped open mouths and clamped open eyes, a disgusting sight. Though mumbled, they were clear. The last words they said. Big Mom could feel it. The wanting. The pain. The torture. Like mice trapped in a box. Souls forced to revive, stuck on this world, unable to be themselves. Their killing intent focused on their Mama. Souls wanting to escape, finding only despair. The dead controlled by The Grim Reaper. A nightmare.

[La Spada] “Tut. Tut. Tut. Even until tha’ end, they prattled on about family and Mama. ‘MaMa Is ThE GrEaTeSt PiRaTe iN ThE WoRlD’. What a joke! Kuahahaha!

Big Mom had landed all the physical blows, but La Spada was far more sinister: she aimed mental blows - to break Big Mom’s psyche, her soul. That is what separated La Spada from the rest: mental torture. Playing with the Queen mind. To place her in a pang where she would be vulnerable, too enraged to be perfect in battle and give The Grim an opening. A morbid sight to shudder. This was not a pirate, this was a demon. This was not a battle, this was macabre.

[La Spada] “They died believing in yah’, AND YAH’ LET THEM DIE, LINLIN! JUST LIKE MAMA CARMEL!!!”

The Grim Reaper beckoned.

Dawn of the Dead
Hell brought on earth. Once awakened, the Yomi’s power of revival stretches to the world around La Spada. The area around her begins to wither, turning into a dark wasteland. A thick cold fog rolls and the ground turns black. From the ground, the dead rise.

La Spada summons the souls of the dead, able to rise in the form of an army of evil skeletons to fight. It is said that they will drag those who La Spada commands down to Hell. The skeletons can slowly freeze those they touch, as the are themselves souls with the Chill of the Underworld. If any NPCs have been killed in the same storyline, Spada can resurrect them, though they are devoided of any special abilities like DFs.

The boy jumped towards the side as he fires the air blade – hoping to catch Sasaki off through extending the reach of his blade. But Sasaki would quickly jump, somersaulting over Akira as both sides passes each other completely. This forces the boy to cut his own jump short as he landed a metre away from Sasaki’s original position, landing on one leg as Akira immediately pivot himself around 180, turning to face Sasaki as the man would complete his somersault and slams the tip of the staff down onto the ground at the same time. Lightning would emanate from the tip of the staff and crackle around the ground, breaking the very earth at the tip of each lightning strike as it travels outwards. These arcs of lightning however weren’t just an aggressive move; it acts to defend Sasaki at the same time.

Tendrils of lightning would quickly move towards the boy, whom isn’t too far away from Sasaki and his attack in the first place. The boy reacted, swinging his sword horizontally one-handed as he creates a powerful shockwave with his immense strength, blasting away the earth in front of him as the shockwave and debris hits the incoming arcs of lightning. The shockwave would hit straight towards the lightning, blasting the electrical arcs before ultimately dispersing them, the debris that would fly onwards would also be hit by the remnants of these lightning, destroyed as a small cloud of dust would soon obscure the both of them.

Sasaki would land back on the ground, and he would speak. Questioning Akira’s intentions, or rather his reason for even helping La Spada. No sane entity, knowing who La Spada is – would help her achieve whatever her goals or objectives are. Only someone whom wishes to exact the thing, a person of great evil would do something like that. Sasaki’s words towards Akira was definitely strange, to an extent. It would in fact make quite a bit of sense if they were of the same crew in which the old man himself have already guessed. But his words also indicate from another perspective that he would not believe the boy to be the same as La Spada. Evil. After all, the old man seemed to have somehow overheard the conversation between Akira and Bartholomew Kuma.

Yet Akira have no intention of answering. He would not risk further. His silence may likely cause Sasaki to eventually conclude that Akira would desire the same thing as La Spada but his thoughts were kept locked. A secrecy best kept is silence. The boy swung his weapon vertically this time, generating an air blade once more, this time longer. Aimed at Sasaki, or where he is last seen before the dust cloud obscures his vision. The air blade would disrupt the dust cloud quickly, blowing it away to settlement as it goes for the old man, but not just that – the vertical air blade is rather long, it would also damage the ceiling above them, likely causing the ceiling to collapse down. Finding a staircase would take too long in the midst of a fight, and their fight would eventually create enough attention. The boy would just have to find a direct path upwards.

Akira kept his distance with Sasaki. The lightning attacks are dangerous. It would have no warning if Akira took a direct fight with Sasaki. Whether the attacks are a by product of a Devil Fruit, or his race - given his tail is not known. The boy couldn't take a straight fight without better understanding his powers, not in this particular circumstance especially. He would have to deal with Sasaki defensively for now. Though his only real way of winning would be taking a direct fight. The boy isn't specialized in any form of long-range fighting, he would ultimately lose in that regard.

The powerful fireballs carpet bombed La Spada's location, engulfing her in a hellish blaze. The piercing beam of energy followed, cutting the inferno up. But La Spada stood. Her silhouette rose inside the hellish inferno as it faded. La Spada's mad cackle did not cease. It was time for the mind games to begin. The eater of the Yomi Yomi no Mi, La Spada awakened her Devil Fruit. Darkness took the area and thick, icy fog started to linger. The world surrounding La Spada and Big Mom started to turn into the underworld, riddled with bones of skeletons. An army of skeletons started to rise from the ground, surrounding the two. But, La Spada's goal was not to fight with numbers. Instead, it was two skeletons that aimed to splinter Big Mom's very soul. Their boney bodies stood, and resting on their shoulders were the heads of two of Big Mom's children.

Rising from the dead,

Charlotte Amande
Charlotte Smoothie.

Big Mom's two daughters stood in front of her, looking dead into her eyes. La Spada's voice took the area, uttering those cursed words.

[La Spada] “They died believing in yah’, AND YAH’ LET THEM DIE, LINLIN! JUST LIKE MAMA CARMEL!!!”

A figurative bolt of lightning shot through Big Mom's mind and soul, causing her to fall to her knees. She grabbed her head in pain once again, memories flooding in. Memories of Mother Carmel.

Big Mom was weak. She was exposed. On her knees. The Yonkou was at the mercy of La Spada, the controller of Souls.

Mama!

Snap out of it!

Oi, stop messing around!

Prometheus, Hera and Napoleon said, the former two speaking to Big Mom, while the latter lashed out to La Spada. The clock was ticking, and Big Mom's end seemed to be approaching. With Sasaki's mission about to fail, the world was facing its darkest hour.

@Guren

With La Spada's domination over Big Mom, the fight on the other island was quickly becoming dangerous. Unlike Kaidou and Kallavan, who were going through the motions, Big Mom and La Spada were going for each other's necks immediately. There was, after all, history there. The deaths of children.

Kaidou and Kallavan's fight was much different. The two were gladiators. Neither had done bad to the other, they were simply two powerful men, seeking to see who was the greater warrior - though their test of strength was sure to play a vital role in the future fate of the world. After all, sometimes it was all about strength.

Kaidou shifted sideways, swinging his tail in an attempt to blow Kallavan away. Kallavan, in tune with his fighting instincts, saw the attack coming on time and reacted, pushing off of the ground and jumping up into the air. Once above Kaidou, Kallavan swung his leg, unleashing a powerful Rankyaku. The energies of raw, physical power, and black Busou-shoku no Haki, combined, forming a black Rankyaku that had the power to split a fleet of warships in twain.

Kaidou's spiked kanabo trailed his spin. Imbuing the weapon with black Busou-shoku no Haki, Kaidou swung it at an upward angle, colliding it with the descending Rankyaku. The kanabo and the Rankyaku pushed against one another for a number of seconds, causing more powerful gales across the floating island. Before long, the opposing forces of the two attacks erupted, ending the clash.

Kallavan landed back on the ground a few meters away and Kaidou spoke, wondering about the Marine in front of him.

It is strange for a man to grow that much more powerful in such a short amount of time.

Such growth only happens to the kings...

Kaidou said, wondering if Kallavan had an important role to play in the world.

What do you grow stronger for, boy?

Kaidou asked. He wanted to know what it was, that pushed Kallavan to such heights. To be able to clash with Kaidou, one had to certainly be an unordinary man.

The bolts of lightning spread outward like tendrils of electricity, aiming to catch Akira in their ensnare. The young Assassin was quick to react, swinging his sword with enough strength and power to generate a shockwave. The bolts of lightning hit different areas of the surroundings, causing shockwaves and damaging whatever they hit. However, the shockwave that Akira generated deflected the lightning bolts that came his way, leaving him safe.

When Sasaki landed back on the ground, he questioned Akira's intentions, and why he would help someone as evil as La Spada. However, no answer came. Akira refused to talk to Sasaki - an act that endangered the stability of the situation further. Akira went onto the counteroffensive, swinging his sword again, this time unleashing a flying slash that came for Sasaki.

Sasaki tightened the grip on his monkey king's staff, imbuing it with black Busou-shoku no Haki. Hasshouken vibrations reverberated around the monkey king's staff, mixing in a dance with what looked like red lightning. Sasaki took a step forward, swinging the monkey king's staff and colliding it head on with the incoming flying slash.

120: 5. Town Level + S:+4 + COA: +2 + COC: +1 = 12. Large Continent Level

The collision of the two attacks, as well as the large nature of the flying slash, inflicted significant damage to the ceiling, causing parts of it to start to crack and crash down. This created an opening to go further up toward the top of the Whole Cake Chateau. Though whether either of them had a reason to go up there, was anyone's guess.

By the time the clash ended, something strange started to occur. Akira's eyes would start to play tricks on him. The air itself looked slightly wavy in parts, as if there was an optical illusion taking place. Akira would find there to be multiple Sasakis. One looked like his normal self, but there was also a taller skinnier version, a younger child version, a fat version and a tall muscular version. Three of these Sasakis were on the ground, while two were floating up in the air, blocking Akira's upward exit. Sasaki's voice echoed throughout the area.

This is your last chance, young man. Before we both have to let loose...!
