The boy asked Sasaki. The old man has to know right? He came looking for the Poneglyph, arguably for its knowledge from the get-go. As such he should possess such knowledge in whatever hieroglyphics or language is engraved upon the slab of rock. Unlike Akira whom is simply set upon a path towards the Poneglyph in hopes of an answer, whether by La Spada or by the Bloodhound – he himself have no idea what he would be looking for just a while ago. Yet Sasaki’s answer came to an end, crushing any hopes to figuring out what this path has set him off to. The boy – bitter, yet his expression well hidden. The lack of seriousness from Sasaki tells him all he needs to know.

He wasn’t telling. The boy did not need to understand Sasaki’s words nor expression further. There is no deeper meaning to it. The truce would come to an end. The boy attempted to withdraw Twilight’s Edge, yet only managing to held on to the hilt of his blade that Zeus suddenly whined. Without much words, Sasaki disappeared in a thunderous boom before Akira could stopped him – violently.

Damn it.

The boy cursed under his breath. The search for the poneglyph ended up a dead end for his side. Though for La Spada’s order he have succeeded in finding it. Big Mom aside, all that is left is the complete takeover of their home – for her crew now left in shambles. Whether they would decide to leave per Akira’s suggestion or not, La Spada would likely hunt them down for the complete destruction of the crew. Walking away from the poneglyph with no answers – all that remains are the Beast Pirates. Though Akira has only encountered Black Maria, he would expect the others to of the same crew due to them remaining together the whole time. The wedding or the alliance between two of the Yonko is all but ruined. While Akira has no idea what would happen to Kaido or is happening to Kaido. Considering what happened in Wano Kuni with the presence of marines, Sasaki is unlikely to be alone – if he is a marine that is. The boy has a general feeling alliance with the Beast Pirates would be impossible and if Sasaki is truly a marine then he would not be alone in this endeavour.

Unlike Big Mom Pirates, La Spada most likely wouldn’t have cared about the fate of Beast Pirates. Walking just a step past the trio of Beast Pirates, Akira stopped.

“The Big Mom Pirates are done. Its remnants will either fall prey to La Spada or run from Whole Cake Island.”

Akira spoked coldly. He wasn’t sure if the Big Mom Pirates ahead of him would take his suggestion and leave but it would not matter. The boy did not intend to leave them alive but at this point – he would give them an option. La Spada isn’t here, and he doubt she cares about the remnants of Big Mom Pirates with the poneglyph as the bigger prize. Its value was even proven by Sasaki, that she wants it and that Sasaki was preventing it.

“Your alliance is done.”

The boy took a very short breath of time before continuing on.

“The fact that this man is here once again, means he might be with the Marines – and if someone as powerful as him decided not to deal with your alliance directly… means someone else probably is.”

A Marine regardless of their rank, have no business merely coming here just to see the Poneglyph. It didn’t matter if Sasaki was actually a marine or not though the boy could wildly make that assumption with some logic. Manipulation. The boy learnt that from La Spada. Akira wasn’t just talking about their alliance; he is specifically referring to Kaido. Big Mom’s fate is sealed. He would ‘trust’ in La Spada to do so. Kaido however, the boy does not know.

“Today marks the end of not just Big Mom but at the same time, Kaido. Staying here will only means death when La Spada comes. So I will give you a choice.”

The boy did not look at the trio, only ahead – but only at this point in his conversation would his eyes peered towards the trio, his exposed eye gleams red, piercing straight at them. A sign of power in his eyes.

“Join me. Leave Kaido and go back to Wano to protect the people from Flower Capital. And perhaps one day – revenge for all these.”

“Or you can leave with no place to call home -- Alone. The marines and bounty hunters will chase you down to the ends of the seas whenever you go.”

Whilst not exactly an ultimatum, the words are very strong and direct. Accepting Akira’s offer allows them to go back to Wano – a place that they could call home but on the other side of the offer was likely with nowhere to truly go but run. However, one would take note of Akira’s usage of the word – me. Not Spada Pirates. Though they may logically assume to be the same.

Coming to the conclusion that Sasaki had tricked him - whether true or not - Akira reached for his sword, aiming to attack. However, sensing what was happening with Big Mom, both Sasaki and Zeus disappeared, too quick for Akira to pursue. Left at a dead end, Akira collected himself. This was no time to act on emotions - the story of Whole Cake Island was coming to its grand finale. He averted his attention and gaze toward the Beast Pirates - Black Maria, Ulti and Basil Hawkins. With a deathly glare in his eyes, Akira gave the trio what one could only consider an ultimatum.

Join me. Or perish.

According to Akira, those were the only options remaining for the Yonkous' crew members. The Big Mom Pirates had fallen, and going by Zeus' earlier outburst, Big Mom herself was in danger of falling as well. Little did everyone in the Room of Treasures know, that had already transpired, just now. With the alliance in peril, this would affect the Beast Pirates as well. There was nowhere left to go. No way to win. And so, the trio had to make a decision.

Basil Hawkins swiped with his right hand, summoning his deck of cards. The cards levitated in front of him, outlined with purple aura. Black Maria and Ulti looked at Basil Hawkins, aware of what was happening. A grand display of magic.

0% of survival...

Hawkins said, looking at one card. His eyes then gazed to another card.

0% of survival...

He said again, before his eyes shifted to yet another card, and then another, and then another.

0% of survival...

0% of survival...

0% of survival...

Every option Hawkins checked, there was no chance of survival. Fighting off Akira. Fighting off La Spada. Retreating. Hiding. Tring to meet back up with Kaidou. Everything resulted... in death.

Hawkins' eyes then averted to another card.

28%...

Hawkins said. With a swipe of his hand, he recalled his cards, storing them into his pocket. He looked toward Black Maria and Ulti, speaking.

28%... if we take his offer.

Even if the trio took Akira's offer, chances of survival remained low. But,it was their only option. Black Maria and Ulti nodded.

A choice. Though given Akira’s wording it never felt much like a choice. Yet, Akira’s choice possessed freedom regardless no matter how limited it actually is. The trio took in the words carefully but before any words of acknowledgement with the given choice is made – Basil unleashed a deck of cards in grand display of magic, each cards engulfed in a purple aura as it floats in the air. He would gaze from cards to cards, but at the same time he would speak.

0% of survival. The few words but kept repeated by Basil. Though Akira himself genuinely have no idea what the man is doing. He is definitely doing some form of calculations – though the context of it is largely lost upon him. But the only conclusion he could come up with is either that they are thinking of ways to survive against La Spada or Akira or he is looking at some form of future. The latter, had he not been in Valley of Peace – would easily dismiss that notion. After all, prophecy and predicting the future, He has more or less experienced it with Oogway ramblings. Though given what happened in that island he wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss that possibility.

That said, the boy didn’t seem to respond to Basil’s similar ramblings – that as long as the answers would not result in another fight he probably wouldn’t mind any other response. Of course, acquiring allies would be important in the long run, but no matter what it is – either of the given choices would sit well with Akira, the boy doesn’t really lose out on anything. That is when Hawkins gave a different response, 28% should they take Akira’s offer. Black Maria and Ulti nodded though not much further is said. The boy would not confirm either choices, further presenting his choice once more but not before taking out a partially folded black cloth. In a single motion the boy threw the folded cloth towards the trio, though whoever that took it did not matter. Upon closer inspection, they may unfold it slightly to reveal the jolly roger of Spada Pirates, their flag. The boy kept a copy of the flag for various reasons, usually when he performs his role as the Shadow of the Grim Reaper.

“This is our flag, if you present it to them in Wano Kuni they will recognize you as one of them. You have up till today to make the choice.”

Akira said as he started to walk away. He would continue to talk – making sure to clarify his words and intentions on what he meant.

“You don’t need to join Spada Pirates, only that you become allies with me, lie to anyone if you wish to pretend being one. La Spada herself don’t care all that much, only how many pawns she can utilize. Think of it something similar to an alliance if you wish.”

“After all... that is how the Spada Pirates work.”

His objectives done, where the rest of Big Mom Pirates is – Akira already have his own answers no matter their own decision. Now, all that’s left to do is to regroup with La Spada. What she desires, is accomplished more or less. The Poneglyph should be more than valued than the death of several Big Mom Pirates at this point, that is what Akira believed to be. Leaving the treasure room, Akira would later destroy a section of the wall leading to the skies on the floor he is in, removing his raid suit before fully transforming into his Beast Form, a Pteranodon. Taking off into the skies, Akira looks to find La Spada.

Kallavan looked on as his punch blasted Kaido off his feet. With a force that could claim many an opponent the Admiral knew that this would finally do some damage to his opponent. And damage it did.

Flung like a projectile Kaido saw himself at the mercy of Kallavan's Gamma Mörser. Flying through mountain upon mountain until he finally came to a stop. His landing destination buried by a landslide of rubble and debris. Off in the distance Big Mom had met her match and was ultimately slain by Spada. Kallavan had sensed the disappearance of an aura, but couldn't really tell that it was the yonkou. His own mantra lacked the mastery to ascertain that. It'd have been a perfect ending to that duology, but life wasn't that fair.

It never was.

A big slam to the ground shook the plateau, rising the mountain of rubble up into the air and turning it into dust. There he stood. The legendary creature who none could kill. Neither man, beast, weapon nor even the man himself. And yet, this lone marine, not even the strongest in his rank had already achieved fame with one simple feat. He managed to claim a leg from the behemoth.

There Yonkou Kaido stood, with a portion of his right leg missing. And stunningly the man wasn't even short of breath. Kallavan couldn't help but applaud the feat in his mind. He didn't dare voice it, nor would his pride allow it. However, while Kaido dug himself out of the otherwise pretty grave. Kallavan had already moved forward, approaching the Yonkou with each step filled with confidence. He knew by instinct that last blow wouldn't seal the deal. And with that in mind already moved ahead. By the time Kaido dug himself out the Admiral was 20 meters away and walking.

The plateau, besides the sputtering fire, was dead silent.

An ominous feeling.

"Gladiator? Fool. My ambition isn't as shallow as that." Kallavan said, his voice deeper and thicker due to his awakened state.

It took some time but eventually Kallavan would come to a stop 15 meters in front of Kaido and placed his stance wide, his arms now forward. With that single snap of his arms his haki exploded onto the battlefield, dark lightning hitting all around the battlefield. His hands would now move close to each other as blue and white energy began to mix. With hands cupped together and brought to his hip, the young man called the name of his new technique.

"Kaaa....Meeeee....Haaaaa.....Meeeeee"

The Admiral called, dragging his words as he had to focus on the energy between his palms. With each syllable that passed the radiating haki elevated to a higher and higher degree. The ground cracking below his feet as it could hardly contain the power that was between the marine's palms. A concentrated Rokuougan between his palms, moulded and compressed by Hasshoken, tempered with Ryou haki. And finally boosted to insanity by kings ambition. The Divine Turtle Wave was ready and Kallavan snapped forward his arms, with the intent to annihilate Kaido.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Just a different name for this
Metsu Hadou Rokuougan (Perish Flying Six King Gun):
A more advanced version of the Hadou Rokuougan involves imbuing the move with haki while forming the attack. This in turn causes the energy to twist and shift into a dark purple like colour. The added power results in a much more powerful move and perhaps the strongest attack in Kallavan's arsenal which leaves him drained for quite some time afterwards. Many have commented that in many cases this is Kallavan's last resort attack. [ S+ Rank]
91 Hasshoken, 91 rokushiki, 100 str, 100 armament haki

From those cupped hands a mid-range beam of pure focused will and energy was released. The amount of power and sheer size was overwhelming. So astonishingly that the ground beneath Kallavan's feet gave way to the amount of pressure this cannon flew at, digging him into the ground. Effectively levelling the surrounding area. The cannon at this range it was more than enough to engulf Kaido completely and then some. With the supposed loss in speed Kallavan hoped that the Yonkou wouldn't have the agility to avoid such a deadly attack at this close range. Then again, knowing the Yonkou it'd surprise him that he'd try and avoid such a blast at this point in time.

It was time to finally put everything on the table. The marine was oblivious to this but the Yonkou still had one trump card remaining. One that could without a doubt push through this divine turtle cannon.

Floating Island ————>WCI Palace Rubble
Do it now. The voices of her sisters, memories she sought for half a century, came to La Spada’s aid. Spurred by their spirit, Isis put it all on the line, her very soul. A clash that would rock the seas and shift the future of the world. The Worst Generation did their worst, showed their undying spirit. In the clash of the two strongest women in the seas, legend, one overtook the other. Big Mom’s blast weakened and Isis’s Dragon and soul overtook the Queen. Big Mom was lsent reeling through the island floor, splitting the floating isle. What came below was her palace, split by the force and her body. Admits the rubble, Big Mom lay severed, defeated.

Among her throne, another force landed beside her. Bones landed violently next to Big Mom.
The music that had overtook every other sound had died out. What was left was the sound of the crumbling palace, and the utter quiet of a shocking sight. Isis “La Spada“ had landed in a standing position, using ice for the severed leg. The Grim had lost her right leg and her left arm. Her sboney ribcage was gouged, and deep cracks were all over the rest of her body. Yet, those eyes were triumphan. Triumphant as La Spada stood over Big Mom’s comparably huge body.

The Grim turned to the cloud that called Mama and spoke.

[Isis] “LinLin’s reign is ovah’. She truly was a mightah’ Queen. Unmatched. Big Mom’s name shall persevere. I’d wish I’d be around to see who would take her thronah’.”

Suddenly, a crack in La Spada’s body, running from her temple to her hip bone, fractured. A thump showed the boney woman, body barely holding together from that split, land on her knee. The breath was quick and the will was gone. La Spada had sacrificed part of her soul to overcome the Queen. With that, her body could not survive. This was not a victory. A more abled description would be a tie. La Spada was also dying, just in the cusp of taking the throne. Yet, there was no sorrow. La Spada had seen her sisters again. The souls of Ivalice were heard. Would they be resurrected?

The Queen had ruled for decades, undisturbed. Surely, old age contributed today. The weakened spirit of a woman at the top for so long contributed today. Even ten years ago, the outcome would be terrifyingly different. Even gods age. The New Generation shall surpass the Old one. The way of the world. Today was that day. Yet, it did not seem to be La Spada. Her end seemed nigh, here, alongside Big Mom. The two strongest women would greet Death on the same day.

La Spada chuckled as she made a magnanimous statement.

[Isis] “At least I’ll watch tha’ old hag die first. Tha’ will be mah’ victory. Kuahahahaha!”
Big Mom’s time was approaching faster than La Spada. That would be the key. La Spada did not know it yet.

It ain’t over until the fat lady sings. Sing, Big Mom.

Big Mom's behemoth of a body laid on the ground, still alive. However, her senses no longer worked. She could not see. She could not hear. She could not feel. Big Mom's last breaths. Her son, Zeus, arrived on the scene with tears in his eyes, seeing Big Mom on the verge of death. Calling out to her, Zeus did not get an answer. Boom. A new explosion, and the arrival of La Spada. She landed on the ground, now back on Whole Cake Island - with the floating island above them in complete ruins, barely staying up in the sky. La Spada's own body, too, was falling apart. A leg missing. An arm missing. A torso, gouged out. Suddenly, a loud, bone shattering noise. La Spada's body cracked from her shoulder to her hip. She was barely keeping herself standing. Intent on outlasting Big Mom. Intent on wanting to see her die. Intent on achieving victory. La Spada knew she would fall, right after Big Mom did.

And so fate started to roll. La Spada would suddenly see it - a change in Big Mom. Her large mouth, normally stuffed with food, was filled with blood, but she curled a big smile. La Spada wouldn't be able to know what Big Mom was smiling about. But she was smiling about something - that much was clear.

Her family.

Her Homies.

Her home.

Big Mom was a truly fortunate pirate. She had lived long, she had lived how she wanted to. And in that life, she had built the biggest family in the world. That fact, garnered her the nickname... Big Mom. She was a mother to more than any other had been before. Suddenly, blood overflowed the corner of Big Mom's smiling mouth, trailing down her face and neck. The slight tension in her body suddenly disappeared.

Big Mom... Charlotte Linlin... was dead.

In front of La Spada and Zeus, Big Mom's soul, ever so slowly, started to leave her body.

Kaidou stood proudly, a leg torn off. His fire armor still clad him as he called out to Kallavan, calling him a true gladiator. A title that Kallavan did not appreciate. Kallavan's ambitions were bigger than that. Becoming the strongest was not his goal - it was simply a means to an end. He had to become the strongest, to achieve something else - perhaps. Kaidou, however, was simpler. He merely wished to be the strongest. And then, he wished to be killed, in his prime, at his strongest. Kallavan arrived a good fifteen or so meters away from Kaidou, now holding the upperhand in this battle. Cupping his hands together, Kallavan started to gather energy inbetween the palms of his hands.

Kaidou smiled. This was the pinnacle. This was the moment he had lived for.

Wororororo...

Kaidou laughed, tightening the grip on his spiked Kanabo. The flaming armor cladding Kaidou's body suddenly started to flow toward his Kanabo, building up around the Kanabo in the form of a highly compressed flaming swirl. From Kaidou's laughing mouth, tiny air blades started to appear, also flowing down toward the flaming Kanabo, swirling around it. Finally, a crackling lightning of advanced Conqueror's Haki appeared around Kaidou, amassing around the Kanabo. Kaidou's strongest attack. Dragon fire, storm wind blades, and Conqueror's Haki lightning, rumbled around the spiked Kanabo, cladding it in power that seemed and felt utterly unstoppable. Black Busou-shoku no Haki hardened the Kanabo - a necessary action to allow the weapon not to crumble underneath its own power, or rather the power that flowed and swirled around it.

And then it happened.

Kallavan, having amassed great energy within his hands, threw his hands forward, unleashing an enormous beam of Hasshouken energy and Haki.

Kaidou pushed off of the ground with his one remaining leg, charging right into the beam. His Kanabo was pointing forward, leading the way. Kaidou pierced through the beam that Kallavan had unleashed, cutting through it right down the middle. Unfathomable. Kaidou's Kanabo would disperse Kallavan's attack, and the hulking Yonkou ended up right in front of Kallavan, already midswing. Kaidou's muscles were bulging, and his Kanabo was overflowing with power. Kaidou unleashed his strongest swing, his talons digging into the ground to give him stability. A powerful swing of the Kanabo sought Kallavan. On contact or without, the swing of the Kanabo would unleash an enormous blast of fire, wind and lightning, consuming everything in front of Kaidou. If left unchecked, the enormous attack would tear off half of the island that they were on, and reach all the way down to Whole Cake Island. Kaidou's final roar.

DRAGON EMPEROR...!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kallavan's kamehameha wave flew with power to annihilate a mountain for such was the power of his will. If it was any other opponent in front of him, the Vice-Admiral would've won then and there. Sadly, his target was Yonko Kaido. A wounded version of himself but Yonkou Kaido nonetheless. The creature channelled all of his power into his club and rushed forward like a bulldozer. The club leading the way and clearing his path towards victory. Kallavan could barely believe his eyes as the crystal blue light faded before him only to be overshadowed to the scorching fire that surrounded the Yonkou. Kallavan's wave was depleted, swat away like it was nothing and with complete shock his hands moved back, attempting to guard and or block as his opponent was already mid-swing. Through pure reflex Kallavan reacted, with a jab out of his left hand. The arm blurred, snapping forward with ridiculous power given the speed it flew with. The shigan-like punch, Jugon.

The two attacks clashed with an impact that detonated a near island wide explosion, carving out a huge space at the moment of impact. A curtain of elements spread out far and wide in front of Kaido. To him, it appeared as if he had erased his opponent, and it certainly would've felt like that. Kallavan's late response made certain that there was contact, the Admiral had not resorted to any surprise evasion.

The Yonkou would look in front of him, the plateau was nearly sliced in half. Only a few bits and pieces were keeping this thing together. And with each passing moment a chunk of earth would fall down. This inevitably would result in the land to be effectively halved. What had come from his opponent he did not know, but the feeling that the marine was still alive would persist. Like an aching in the back of his mind. Luckily the man wouldn't have to wait very long. Through the curtain of smoke and fire, a figure rose from a crouched/hunched position.

"I...told you...my ambition cannot be matched. Kaido." Kallavan said, fire burning on his blood covered body.

Clearly the Admiral had been pushed back by Kaido's incredible swing. But despite all of that the Admiral miraculously survived but the severity of that survival became clearer the closer the man came to the Yonkou. The fire that was the closest to Kaido started to recede showing the state that the Vice-Admiral was in.

Fire had completely burnt his entire body. With second degree marks on his chest, arm and legs. With third degree wounds on several places on his face and shoulder. But the most shocking factor was that his left arm had been completely blown away, sliced off from the elbow. The arm he had used to react with Jugon, a sacrificial piece that allowed him to survive that outer wordly swing. Even taking these few steps towards Kaido pained his entire body, but the Admiral was moving forward fuelled by his own desires. His Ambition.

The young man's right fist was trembling a white energy coated it, the last vestiges of his entire being were in this attack. Everyone back home was counting on him to seal the deal and the time to end things was right now.

"With your powers, I shall elevate the World Government to the highest force imaginable. Roger may have started the Golden Age of Piracy"
"But you, Yonkou Kaido. Will be the catalyst for its end and the beginning of mine."

The Admiral said, voice husky from all the fighting he had done. His right hand clenched and trembling with an amount of energy it could barely hold any longer. For Kallavan's ambition, his goal, his dream was so close he could almost taste it. That realization coming to fruition was burning the man at such a high level that his haki skyrocketed, leading the way to an attack he had used only once. And that version paled in comparison to that of what was about to be unleashed towards the Yonkou.

[Violet] - "Get him Big Boss"
[Tengen] - "Finish him Off"
[Caitlyn] - "You can do it chief"
[Mirio] - "I believe in you Kallavan-sensei!"
[Trevor] - "Finish him, carve your own fate"
[Kanda] - "Life Before Death"

Voices echoed throughout Kallavan's mind. The voices of his crew, of his loyal comrades. Those that'd go to the end of the world and back for him. The Fox-Hound crew poetically spurred him on and Kallavan's fist exploded forward.

Like a missile it flew through this inferno snuffing it out with the flick of one's finger. And a punch that sought to annihilate the strongest creature in the world would seek its target.

Whole Cake Island - #17

Sing, fat lady. Croak.

The most powerful women on the seas lay battered, at the end of their rope. Big Mom with age ailing her power, and La Spada at her prime, and the two were near equal. Such was the plight that, though La Spada outlasted the Queen, Death greeted Isis as well. A figurative tie. The two women were at the end of their life. One remembering her children. Another remembering her sisters. Both held family fast to their heart as Death came. Yet, La Spada would outlast the Queen. The sack of bones, cracked and in pile, would remain to see the Yonko die first. A victory for the soul.

A soul emerged from Big Mom’s body, so potent, the air fluttered. A Yonko’s soul. La Spada chuckled, as her eyes closed, her consciousness giving away and easing into death.

[Terra] “What are you doing, yah’ bitch! Who told yah’ yah” could die? Yah’ still have a job to do! Hundreds are waiting to be revived! Yah’ promised!”
[Nephitys] “We killed yah’ once. Why do yah’ think that was?! Decades of bliss without yah’. Let us rest some more! Only we decide when yah’ can die!”
[Mother] “Grab our hands, Isi!”
Suddenly, La Spada slowly opened her eyes, her pupils dilating. The Spada sisters had killed Isis back in Ivalice. A certain hate lingered, and they refused to have her back. Let us rest. La Spada still had a job to do. La Spada still have Ivalice to revive. Isis’ mouth closed, eating a small object, a fruit, grown on her bones. In front of her, La Spada saw three women. Mother in the middle and her sisters beside her. All of them extending their hand, together at the center.

Empowered by the Warsongs, Isis reached out, grabbed the hands offered, and pulled herself up. In real time, in reality, one could see these were no hands, this was Big Mom’s very soul.

[Isis] “SOUL POCUSSSS!!!
Big Mom’s soul, pink, cracked in La Spada’s right hand. It was a fight just to gain control over it. La Spada again fell to her knees. Suddenly, she screamed with might, Conqueror’s haki spawning off her, making the earth shake. With a tug, La Spada pulled Big Mom’s soul to her mouth, and bit down. The soul had a distinct candy crunch, a distinct voice who cursed La Spada. In a dramatic moment, La Spada inhaled the Yonko’s soul, consuming it.

Zeus would recognize it: the Soru Soru no Mi. Indeed, Zeus would realize what happened when he did not fade. Big Mom’s soul did not pass over, it remained, consumed.

[La Spada] “Kuhahahaha… Kuahahahaha! Kuahahaha! Kuahahahahaha!”

A short chuckle became a cackle. A cackle became laughter. Laughter became a wail of peril. Slowly and dramatically, La Spada’s bones began to heal. This was not just some soul. This was the soul. The crack that split La a Spada almost in half began to repair itself, slowly closing. As if welded, the scar lingered, but the bone healed. Likewise, La Spada’s left arm, once torn, was lifted off the ground, re-connecting to her shoulder blade and healing - Hade’s Hook brimming. La Spada’s right leg never came. The leg was shattered into too many pieces, unable to be restored, gone forever. Ice replaced the limb. The exhaustion was still there, but the body was partially restored.

Rising from the dead, again, the infamous La Spada stood tall, partially healed, saved from death. The woman licked her Shodai Kitetsu blade before re-sheathing it. Dramatically, the woman lit her cigar and inhaled deeply. La Spada was back. One yet to be crowned, but standing in front of the Queen’s corpse. The Grim who would become Death. The Princess who would become Queen.

Enter Yonko La Spada.

From the distance, one approached. From the shadows, slithering like a snake, horns adorning the head, one came, holding the promised end of the bargain.

The boy flew up away from the chateau, taking into the skies as he searches to regroup with La Spada. Above him stood two floating islands, but it would only take a fair few seconds before an explosion of dust and smoke bursts from the horizons, one of the islands floating atop Whole Cake Island started to crack down into its core – ultimately splitting the island in half as something descends down upon the chateau itself at high speed. While not a good situation to be, having consider that La Spada’s prize itself is in the chateau, and his unfortunate allies is more than likely to be caught within, Akira choose not to do anything about it. The boy’s instinct was to simply fly high enough to avoid being caught in its crash and the shockwave that would echo throughout the island.

Soon, something rather massive would crash down upon the chateau - very likely destroying the entire structure with it. Akira could only see the absolute mess of dust and smoke atop the palace rubble. Though not exactly aware of his Captain’s location – a sudden shift in the air, a crackle of the sign of a Conquerors as the earth and skies shake in its aftermath. It caught Akira’s attention quickly. A disgusting foul aura permeates from a far – familiar to the boy. He knows where he needs to go, prompting Akira to change direction towards the foul aura, having seen and felt such effects the boy could tell, it is over. With that much smoke and dust however, Akira did not simply head towards the Captain, instead he chooses to dissipate the smoke and dust by flying around the chateau in circles at high speed, using the wind generated by Akira’s Zoan to whipped out a fast tornado-like motion around, forcing dust and smoke to be whipped along the wind.

Finally, the boy headed into the centre of the storm, the eye – in that one moment, he flaps his wings hard – causing the tornado around the chateau to burst and dissipate away from the chateau – clearing the skies above the chateau ruins.

…..

Approaching his Captain and the environs, Akira finally saw La Spada visually – though stood in front of her is Big Mom, laid upon the ground unmoving. Landing straight down upon the ground where La Spada stood, though just a few metres away behind her. Here, the boy reverts back to his human form but also quickly activated his raid suit once more – covering his body as well as his facial identity quickly along with his bandaged mask. Unaware of what La Spada have already done, the boy only knew of Big Mom’s defeat from what he gathered. Walking slowly towards La Spada, the boy notices the much badly injured La Spada, worst off than him. But similarly, despite the seemly lack of actual injuries – La Spada herself could tell from the amount of blood on visually ‘leaking’ out from his raid suit, though most of the damage is taken during the battle with Katakuri.

“Charlotte Opera and Cracker is dead. The rest of the Big Mom Pirates – Defeated. But they managed to escape from me with their strange powers.”

The boy spoke, though perhaps La Spada would likely preferred most of them dead. But given what she has long achieved, the remnants are not as important. But the boy continues to speak.

“The rest of the Beast Pirates have more than likely broken off their alliance with the Big Mom Pirates and allied themselves with us. I have them to return to the Flower Capital in Wano Kuni should they decide to follow through.”

“And the poneglyph you wanted…. It’s underneath the rubbles somewhere here.”

Kaidou roared, charging forward - his last charge, which would either result in victory, or defeat. Anyone could tell that the grand battle was coming to an end. This was the pinnacle. This was the climax. The spiked Kanabo was swirling with immense power - dragon flames, stormy winds, the lightning of advanced Conqueror's Haki, all stabilized by cladding the spiked Kanabo with immeasurable black Busou-shoku no Haki. Kaidou's strongest attack. The weapon led the way as the one legged Yonkou charged through Kallavan's attack, cutting through it down the middle, before dispersing the attack and arriving in front of Kallavan. Kaidou's immense, muscular body towered over Kallavan as he swung his spiked Kanabo with herculean might.

Kallavan's eyes widened, seeing a wall of death in front of him. The number of individuals that could survive such an attack was less than 10 in the world, most likely. And yet, that was what Kallavan had coming his way. Acting on instinct, perhaps, or with incredible focus and speed, Kallavan swung his arm in the form of a Jugon - unleashing a powerful intercepting punch. There was no way such a rushed, ill timed attack could rival Kaidou's all out swing. But Kallavan simply wanted to intercept and mitigate the damage. As the spiked Kanabo and Kallavan's fish clashed, an enormous blast of fire, wind and lightning erupted forward, engulfing Kallavan. The blast would fly far past Kallavan, ripping into the flying island's crust. The whole island shook, causing fissures to ravage the landscape. The island was torn apart.

Unparalleled might, almost fictional in nature, one could not imagine how Kaidou had reached such heights. The attack settled, and silence followed. Victory?

Nay.

Among the raging fire and billowing smoke, Kallavan was standing up. Unfathomable. The Navy Soldier had survived - but at a great cost. The arm that he had punched with, gone. Ripped off violently, blood was gushing out. But, Kallavan did not falter. Pushing off of the ground, Kallavan was upon Kaidou. A counter attack - it was time for Kallavan to show his strongest fist.

HAKAI
Kallavan's fist did not grow in size, but the killing intent behind the enormous attack created an illusion of a gigantic, overwhelming punch. Kaidou's eyes widened in shock and disbelief, but right as the punch consumed him, he grinned. A smile in the face of death. The punch collided with Kaidou's body, generating such enormous strength that all air was blown away from around the two warriors - creating a vacuum. A moment of complete stilness and silence followed, before the air, and metric tons of blown away dust, suddenly rushed back into the vacuum, giving birth to an imploding eruption of dust. The island was rocked, and Kaidou was sent crashing all the way to the brink of the island, his limp body flying off of the edge.

Victory.

Kaidou's seemingly unconscious, if not lifeless, body flied through the air. His eyes were closed, his body motionless. At some point, gravity took control, and Kaidou's body started to plummet down toward Whole Cake Island. A few hundred meters away from where La Spada, Akira, Zeus and the lifeless body of Big Mom were, Kaidou's body came crashing down. When the dust settled, he laid motionless inside a massive crater fit for a giant.

Kaidou of a Thousand Beasts.
Emperor of the Seas.
The Strongest Creature in the World.
The immortal. The undefeatable.

Kaidou... was defeated.

The flames of the dragon disappeared from what remained of the gigantic island floating up in the sky, and the island started to descend down toward Whole Cake Island, threatening everyone down below.

Big Mom's soul departed from her enormous body. Big Mom's life, was over. However, what followed next, was a shocking turn of events. La Spada was meant to follow Big Mom shortly thereafter, too gravely injured to sustain herself any longer. However, La Spada had an ace up her sleeve. The Soru Soru no Mi reappeared inside a fruit on La Spada's body, and the woman sank her boney teeth into the fruit. An unfathomable risk - a Devil Fruit eater, eating a second Devil Fruit. Defying fate and the rules of the world, La Spada consumed the Soru Soru no Mi, wielding its power.

Whether it was the compatibility between the two soul fruits - the Yomi Yomi no Mi and the Soru Soru no Mi - or the fact that La Spada did not have a physical body that could die, she survived the ordeal, coming out on top. Grabbing onto Big Mom's departing soul, La Spada, wielding her newfound power, took ownership of Big Mom's soul, keeping it as her own. An otherworldly, ethereal ''artifact'' to keep for herself. Zeus watched in horror as he saw the demise of his mama, and La Spada's consequent conquest of Big Mom's soul. Trembling, Zeus feared he was next - a helpless soul, to be consumed by the dominant evil.

A young boy arrived on the scene - La Spada's own crew mate, Akira. Akira spoke, giving La Spada a briefing of what had happened. The Big Mom Pirates had fallen. The Beast Pirates had fallen. The former had escaped, while the latter had been subjugated, supposedly. The Poneglyph, which La Spada sought, was inside the Chateau, in the Room of Treasures. A bolt of lightning struck the area, and Sasaki arrived, appearing flashily next to Zeus.

With a concerned look on his face, Sasaki spoke, confronting La Spada and Akira.

Lady Fate is ruthless... she always has her way.

It appears these events could not be stopped.

Sasaki said, glaring at La Spada. His eyes glanced over to Akira, though why Sasaki looked at him was anyone's guess. Zeus backed up behind Sasaki, terrified of La Spada's presence. A massive shadow cast over the area.

If the group looked up, they would see a massive floating island, descending down toward them. Kaidou, the mighty dragon who had risen the island to the sky, had been defeated. Nothing held the island up in the sky, and the massive behemoth was descending toward Whole Cake Island, and the Whole Cake Chateau.

The fat lady croaked. The show was over. Standing above Big Mom, the Grim took Queen’s soul and her throne. La Spada’s body healed, her bones repairing. Even with the strongest soul of the sea, the woman was not fully healed, barely half, while her stamina was left with much to be desired. Sweat rolled off her bones, even as she stood tall with pride.

The Sky cleared as a winged being landed not far from La Spada. The Shadow, Akira. Bloodied but accomplished, the assassin presented as he always was: with no emotion and power to truly fear. A far cry from the boy found in the village raided. A far cry from the weak who could not protect his family. Before La Spada was the lynchpin of a Yonko crew. The boy was witness to Big Mom’s body - La Spada had actually done it. The question was at what cost, for even as she stood before Akira, La Spada’s knees wavered - she was barely standing, terribly wounded even after healing, vulnerable. She had, after all, felled the strongest female known to history.

The Shadow came with a report. La Spada did not care for the remnants, only a small grin at the mention of the Poneglyph.

[La Spada] “Kuahahahhaa! Today marks a new day for the Seas. Those in the heavens will fall. Everything will be mine. All the sounds of misery, death, and all the… candy.”
That last word came unnatural. Even La Spada seemed shocked. The words that rolled off that rotting tongue without permission. For a moment as she said it, a glint of pink was in La Spada’s eyes, as if an overbearing force was channeled for a moment. Yet, the rest of the words were her own. Akira did not receive a thank you, a recognition, or even more than a glance, even though his work was flawless, more than the Grim’s own. Yet, this was the life at the Spada’s ship. Akira had allied with an unnatural evil, one who promised strength beyond measure. The Assassin had become exactly that, power incarnate.

Suddenly, a lightning bolt greeted the battlefield, words next.

[La Spada] “I don’t even know who yah’ are.”

Disrespectful. La Spada turned to the man who appeared sporting a Marine’s coat. She gently puffed her cigar magnanimously as she greeted the man in her own way. A bug. I don’t even know who you are. The truth, for they had never met, even if their souls screamed for each other, polar opposites of a world long gone. Sasaki could “hear” many voices inside of La Spada. Legion. Two in particular: Big Mom and a blackened soul, the latter opposite of his own. Yet, the banter would be short-lived, as another Yonko fell out of the sky.

In a truly amazing spectacle, He Who Would Not Die fell from the sky in all his splendor. A full island followed, rocking the earth of WCI. The dust cleared, in the distance, a sight to see. La Spada did not need to see it up close. Her new soul powers allowed her to feel. The King of Beasts had fallen.

[La Spada] “Do yah’ hear that, mah’ darlings? That’s the sound of a New Era. Kuahahaha!”

His words did not provoke much of any reactions in regards to the remnants of Big Mom Pirates nor the ‘alliance’ with the Beast Pirates. But it was to be expected, the boy knew nothing come more important than the Poneglyph thus why he decided to mention the stone tablet last, though words are undecipherable, at least to Akira. The boy chose to listen to the words of La Spada quietly without further remarks, only taking a step back as he noted the conclusion of her battle taking upon a heavy toll onto her. No further words were exchanged between both of them, though given the nature of the crew that would be more common. Praise and compliments were not of Spada Pirates. La Spada have accomplished what she has set out to do, and with that enables her to set forth her plans in motion for her world. His silence would only acknowledge the success of La Spada.

Soon afterwards, a bolt of lightning struck the area – something which Akira has seen a couple of times now and thus no longer be surprised when Sasaki appears once more, confronting La Spada and Akira the elderly man glanced over the both of them. Cryptic words are spoken but the core message of his words remains, that whichever is Sasaki’s hopes and plans is no longer as expected of. La Spada however did not seem to be bothered by such events as she does not seem to be aware of his identity, a little different from what Akira would expect from his words back at the chateau that seems to imply some form of connection between them.

No matter, the boy did not speak nor interrupt either of their words. Only to observe cautiously, his guard up and his hands upon the hilt of Twilight's Edge. The other floating island has begun to collapse down upon the earth of Whole Cake Island, soon a powerful shockwave would reverberate from its impact, causing large amount of dust and smoke to arise from its crater. From a distance, far from them it is quite a spectacle indeed. La Spada would accompany that spectacle with her speech, her new era.

Kaidou, the Yonkou.
Kaidou, the ''strongest creature in the world''.
Kaidou, the undefeatable.
Kaidou, the immortal.

He fell out of the sky, crashing onto Whole Cake Island hundreds upon hundreds of meters away from where La Spada, Akira, Sasaki and Zeus were - together with the fallen Big Mom. Soon thereafter, the island that Kaidou had held up in the sky with his powers, fell down as well - like a meteor it descended upon Whole Cake Island. The impact was enormous, sending a shockwave throughout Whole Cake Island. Nay, throughout Totto Land. A grand spectacle, ushering in the end of the battle of the generations. La Spada felled Big Mom. Kallavan felled Kaidou. And with that, the tides of fate were beginning to shift. For better or for worse, no one knew where these events would lead. Sasaki... thought he did. He was convinced, whether rightfully or mistakenly, what all of this meant. La Spada cackled, proclaiming the New Era, and that it would be hers, and hers alone.

[La Spada] “Kuahahahhaa! Today marks a new day for the Seas. Those in the heavens will fall. Everything will be mine. All the sounds of misery, death, and all the… candy.”

[La Spada] “Do yah’ hear that, mah’ darlings? That’s the sound of a New Era. Kuahahaha!”

La Spada did not know Sasaki, making that clear to him. He knew it. This time was the ''first time'' they met. A drop of nervous sweat rolled down the side of Sasaki's face. He could feel Big Mom's soul inside La Spada. However, Sasaki could also feel another. Darker, Eviler. Stronger. Greater. More dangerous. A soul that screamed maniacally and in opposition to Sasaki's own soul. Akira stood beside and behind La Spada, holding onto his weapon. Zeus trembled behind Sasaki, afraid of La Spada and what she had become. However, Sasaki knew what had to be done. Despite La Spada's fronting and apparent confidence, it was undeniable. La Spada was severely weakened now. She also had no mastery of the Soru Soru no Mi at this point in time. As for Sasaki, he had barely gotten involved so far. He was ready to fight. The time was now, to bring down La Spada. For what reason? Only Sasaki knew. The skies above started to rumble and thunderclouds filled up the skies. Lightning crackled. What had created this storm was unknown, for Sasaki did not possess that ability alone.

You're putting up a tough front, La Spada. But I can hear it. You're weak right now.

Sasaki said, softly elbowing Zeus, who was behind him.

Oi, Zeus-kun. It's time to avenge Big Mom. Get your shit together.

Sasaki said, using a curse word, which was unlike him. He loosened his clothing and cast aside his strawhat, getting ready to fight.

Start-o!

Sasaki said, a slightly darker aura about him. He was not his usual goofy self right now. Elevating his left arm and facing the opened palm of his left hand toward La Spada, Sasaki suddenly summoned an enormous amount of lightning around him. The lightning shaped into an enormous lion made out of lightning, and then suddenly turned pitch black from Sasaki's black Busou-shoku no Haki. The black lightning beast suddenly erupted forth, ripping through the distance toward La Spada. As the black lightning beast was upon La Spada, she would realize the sheer size of it. The beast towered over her, aiming to engulf her.

Black Lightning Roar!

The short conversation between Sasaki and La Spada would quickly come towards the end as Sasaki responded – referring to her current state to be weak. Such words are rather threatening to say the least – and that Akira himself understood his intentions rather well, an opportunity to dealt with La Spada not at her full strength presented itself to Sasaki. Their conversation whilst unknown to everyone else back at the Chateau lingers clearly in Akira’s mind. Sasaki spoke softly, though his actions of loosening his clothing and casting aside his hat doubles down upon his intentions. Soon, a dark crackling thunderous aura would emanate about Sasaki – lightning gathering in large masses.

Almost immediately, the boy did not hesitate – his transformation into his alternate hybrid form is quick, along with his raid suit mechanism quickly adapting to his new form through the use of several buttons. In just mere few seconds, the boy has already undergone into his Zoan form. Though still injured, his breath isn’t completely normal. Erratic though well-kept controlled for the most part. All these fighting has been slowly taking its toll for the boy’s body – the small amount of respite has allowed him his body to rest from the adrenaline spike up till now. When Sasaki transforms the mass of lightning into a pitch black beast-like shape as the massive monster erupts from Sasaki which charges towards La Spada with incredible power – ripping through the air as lightning crackles loudly.

Almost instantly swinging Twilight’s Edge towards the incoming lightning-infused beast conjured by Sasaki from the distance – the blade starts to glow bluish-black, black smoke permeates from its blade. As he swung, a powerful air blade immediately fires from the blade’s tip, black wisps dancing about the sharp air projectile as it clashes against the mass of lightning, lightning and wind evaporating a small area of the ground around it. In a few seconds upon the clash, the air blade would slice the conjured lightning beast in half, dissipating its core and form in its wake as the now vastly weakened attack continues its trajectory towards the side of Sasaki, potentially just slightly hitting from where the man stood.

The Queen and King of the Old Generation had fallen. The dawn of a new Dynasty, headed by the Worst Generation. In the distance, Kaido’s body make the whole island shake. Big Mom beneath La Spada’s feet. La Spada laughed maniacall, ushering her new era with words. Standing across the dam, holding the inevitable water back, was a Marine. Sasaki The “Monkey King”, with aura of the Ancients and power of the heavens promises to avenge Big Mom. To put a stop to the evil that was to take over. His words, his spirit, had been uttered before, almost 700 years ago.

With power from the heavens, Sasaki summoned a dragon of his own. La Spada did not move an inch. The ever loyal Shadow appeared in front of La a Spada and stopped the attack, splitting it in ‘Twain.

[La Spada] “Kuhahahaha! How cute, mah’ darling. Yah’ empty threats are as ill-placed as tha’ haircut.”
Cheeky. La Spada chuckled and spoke with derision, noting the ruffled hair that came out of that strawhat. This was not just a front; this was pure arrogance. The Great Grim did not show a sliver of weakness, looking devilishly over the shoulder of Akira. Suddenly, La Spada would feel it. Sasaki would undoubtedly feel it as well. La Spada through Awareness and soul, Sasaki through voices. Two landed in the vicinity of Kaido and Kallavan.

La Spada chuckled, turning to Sasaki. Those rotten words rolled off that maggot-filled mouth, these not empty threats.

[La Spada] “Yah’ can feel it, can’t yah’, monkey? That Marine scum, Son Rohan. Just like Kaido… he’s fading fast. I’d say, without a monkey savior, I’ll have another soul to play with! So much potential… So much value... lost.”
[La Spada] “Can yah’ defeat us both before tha’ scum dies or is killed by those two? Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Clock is ticking, monkey.”

A devilish grin. Could Sasaki believe he could defeat the two heads of the Spada Pirates alone, and before Kallavan would either die or be killed by the newcomers? Today, a new era of piracy would be ushered. On the other side of the coin, a new era of Marines would be ushered, this one by Kallavan, whom Spada knew as Son Rohan. Or would that flame be snuffed out today.

Decisions. Decisions. Decisions.

The clock ticked loudly as the camera whirled to the area Kaido and Kallavan was, zooming in on the two “newcomers”.

Sasaki's mighty lightning dragon, conjured by the Monkey King who controlled the storms, ripped through the air, roaring as it approached La Spada, aiming to engulf her. However, before Sasaki's attack could reach La Spada, Akira swung his sword with great strength, unleashing a flying slash. Sasaki's eyes widened in surprise - what was Akira doing? Had Sasaki misjudged the young boy?The lightning dragon, composed of black lightning due to Sasaki's will, gnawed against the flying slash, sending powerful shockwaves, winds and arcs of lightning far and wide. However, soon, the flying slash pushed through, cutting the lightning dragon in twain and continuing on toward Sasaki. Sasaki reached for the Monkey King's staff on his back, cladding it with Hasshouken vibrations, reverberating up and down the length of the staff. He swung it across, clashing it with the incoming flying slash. Sasaki's Monkey King's staff crushed the incoming flying slash, weakened from its clash against the lightning dragon. It looked like a nonchalant swing, but it did the job.

Evil, maniupulating words rolled off of the rotting tongue of La Spada. She pointed out a problem for Sasaki. Sasaki could feel it. Kallavan had expelled most of his energy fighting and defeating Kaidou. Now, two men of significant power aimed to exploit Kallavan's exhaustion. Sasaki grit his teeth, realizing the bad fortune. Things were unravelling in front of his eyes, and La Spada seemed to have full control.

Oi, Zeus... I need your help.

Sasaki said, glancing over toward Thundercloud-kun.

Buy me five minutes. If you get in trouble, call for my help. Got it?

Sasaki said. Zeus nodded.

O-ok. Avenge mama, monkey samurai-san!

Zeus said, stuttering at first, before putting on a brave face and flying off. With lightning speed, he was soon out of sight, flying to intercept the two pirates before they could reach Kallavan.

Now then... La Spada. It is time for me to perform my duty.

Sasaki said, the clouds above parting. From above the clouds, high up above in the sky, Sasaki's legendary ship came into view.

Further up above the legendary warship was ''that'' once again. A Raigou was forming. A mass of thunderclouds was streaming from the thundercloud generator aboard the ship, up toward the Raigou, feeding it constantly. The lightning within the Raigou was crackling loudly - an apocalyptic scene. Sasaki pushed off of the ground, charging toward La Spada. With his Monkey King's staff in his right hand, Sasaki's left hand reached for the hilt of one of the two swords sheathed on his right hip. Once in range, Sasaki would unsheathe the sword, swinging it diagonally upward, aiming to cut La Spada down. The fire of the Kitsunebi-ryū and the lightning of the Goro Goro no Mi trailed the swing, and the vibrations of Hasshouken reverberated throughout the swing. A slash of fire, lightning and vibrations, clad with black Busou-shoku no Haki, Sasaki was going in for the kill.

Decisions. Decisions. Decisions. To save or not to save. La Spada lived up to her infamy, to her mental games, offering Kallavan’s life for their own. A play that made the Grim more dangerous than many - wicked. The future hung in the balance, as two newcomers came into play. Zeus was ordered to intercept, given five (5) minutes. Against two of the New Generation, Zeus’ chances were small. Could he even last 5 minutes? In front of Sasaki were the heads of the Spada Pirates: The Grim and her Shadow.

As the clouds parted, thunder clouds rolling. La Spada followed with her eyes, chuckling, nodding to Akira. Sasaki did not give much time to respond, launching forward to La Spada, staff front. La Spada flipped her left hand backwards and raised her hook, infused with terrible haki and soul power to intercept. The sword and Aegis hook met, creating terrible impact, thundering haki. However, the haki from Sasaki was robbed, and ice formed to muffle the blow, stopping it. The fire was one a Lunarian was used to. La Spada had her right arm, Saijo Wazamono blade in hand, ready to clash with Sasaki’s free sword hand.

[La Spada] “That’s a delicious soul, monkey! Allow mah’ to peer within yah’ essence!”

Upon impact, something unusual happened on two fronts. First, La Spada gave up ground, her feet sliding back. Such that La Spada took a knee with her bony leg. She panted, it was clear that her strength had waned from Big Mom. Second, La Spada locked eyes with Sasaki upon impact, eyes burning. The eyes of Hell would stare into Sasaki’s eyes and very essence. For a split second, it would touch Sasaki’s soul, his soul bonding with the Grim’s own in their respective consciousness.

In their perspective conciseness, they would only see pure white. Two souls, one black and one white, would be transported to a battlefield. A battlefield next to a throne. A battlefield of an Ancient Kingdom. There were none alive. No sorrow. No activity. Only the sullied feelings of their souls reliving. This was no memory. No picture of the past. It was simply emotion and Will burned into their souls. Only the giant straw hat dangling above them and the black shadow of another took the center stage. Both destined to repeat. Destined to fight. Of the two who would move history, accompanying each of them were nakama, the two souls who were seen before, one black and one white.

For a split second, the two were reunited.

OCC: Obviosuly, soul bond is GMod, though one could argue both Yomi/Soru can achieve it. It’s for story IC purposes. Takes a split second.

In a single swing of his sword – the truce between Akira and Sasaki is all but over. A powerful air blade met the jaws of the thunderous beast unleashed, cutting the beast in half before heading towards Sasaki. But in its weakened state, the man could easily deal with it by slamming his staff head on towards the incoming projectile. Regardless of which, the attack was stopped by Akira – putting Sasaki quite straight into a disadvantage. Despite La Spada’s weakness, a two versus one can be dangerous for anyone to fight into. Yet La Spada decided to put more pressure upon him by putting another person’s life at risk of death, a marine whom fought with Kaido. The name is lost upon the boy, but he would understand her words well enough to confirm two things: Sasaki is a marine, and that Akira’s theory is right – that if not Sasaki then someone else is dealing with Kaido. Either way, the vile act of unfairness that La Spada has put forth – evil yet expected of her. La Spada is someone whom came to be very prepared in case of situations like this. Forced into this situation, the cloud which Sasaki ride on would soon leave. Perhaps going towards their comrade?

La Spada knew how to provoke someone – attempting to trigger one’s emotion into overdrive for the sake of enjoyment, pleasure. Shrewd. But that’s how the pirates are. They would not fight fair. That much one should expect, especially from someone of the Spada Pirates. The cloud is fast, though he would not find either of the Spada Pirates chasing after. Soon afterwards, a large flying ship started to fly overhead of the trio – and above it a thunderous cloud looms above the island. Loud thunderous cracks of lightning streaks through the atmosphere as the weather turns into an overcast.

“…..”

The boy did not comment on the weather beyond the fact that he did not like what he saw. Judging from the very small skirmish between himself and Sasaki back at Chateau, he knew what to expect. Despite not knowing what is going on with the flying ship – such a large size of a warship usually never indicates a good thing. Yet it did not take long before Sasaki immediately attacked La Spada, swinging his weapons as he charged. But La Spada herself wasn’t weak to point of defenceless, defending herself with her sword and shield. In just a few seconds as something else would seem to happen between both herself and Sasaki as their consciousness returns, unbeknownst to the boy of the circumstances of the event – he would spring forth, Twilight’s Edge emanating blue-black smoke as he suddenly spun about himself – with his Haki-infused weapon, Akira generated an air blade as he swung in a circular motion towards Sasaki, aimed to strike the man with not just the blade but the air blade point blank at the same time. Though perhaps not easily noticed is the lack of Akira's Haki in full. Though whether that is the boy's intention to conserve energy in case of emergency or for simply preferring not to fatally injure Sasaki is up for debate, though unlikely to be answered in the heat of the battle.

Name: Autumn’s Moon
Rank: S
Description: A variant of the Full Moon technique, rather than an Iai technique – the user spins and generates an air blade while striking the opponent at the same time, increasing the potency and power of the attack. [Pic 1] (91 Shuurin, 91 Strength)

Akira's DPR: 6. City Level (121+, Zoans only) + S: +4 + Invisible Haki: +2 = 12. Large Continent Level

Presumably should Sasaki back off, he would find Akira’s attack not ending right there, for the boy would spin further, swinging his sword rather gracefully as he suddenly turns his attention upwards, generating an even more powerful air blade trailing his blade motion. From one technique to another, the boy suddenly creates a powerful air blade before ultimately firing it upwards – towards Sasaki’s ship. A massive air blade with its tip shaped like the beak of a bird aims to damage whatever the flying warship, or possibly even intercepting a possible attack from the warship depending on the timing of it.

Name: Nightingale’s Fall
Rank: S+
Description: The strongest form of air blade in the Shuurin style, unlike the typical air blades – this air blade is longer and massive, and is shape much more like a bird’s head. Depending on how the user swings the blade, the air blade may swirl accordingly – making it harder to move out of the way than a normal air blade would be. [Pic 1] (120 Shuurin, 100 Strength)

Akira's DPR: 6. City Level (121+, Zoans only) + S+: +5 + Invisible Haki: +3 = 13. Moon Level

Sasaki sprang forward toward La Spada, holding his Monkey King's staff in his right hand, while reaching for his sheathed sword with his left hand. Once in range, Sasaki unsheathed the sword and swung it upward in one motion, performing something akin to an Iai Slash. The fire of Kitsunebi-ryū, the lightning of the Goro Goro no Mi, and the vibrations of Hasshō-ken, all clad and reverberated within the slash, stabilized by powerful, black Busou-shoku no Haki. La Spada met the swing head on, bashing forward with her Aegis Shield. The shield, in its mysterious ways, absorbed the Haki from Sasaki's attack, weakening it and softening the blow. Perhaps La Spada was weakened right now, but access to such mysterious artifacts of the Underworld allowed her to stall and keep up.

As the two clashed, both of them were taken to a strange place in their minds. A world, living in their souls. It was not a memory of the past, as said. Instead, this strange world represented their wills. What they stood for. What they fought for. It was the essence of their souls. And the key to their future actions.

La Spada's foot was pushed a few inches backward and her knee gave in and bent, signaling that La Spada was, indeed, struggling after her mighty bout with the Queen of the Seas, now passed - the Yonkou, Big Mom. The two were back, present. A drop of sweat rolled down the side of Sasaki's face. What was it that he just saw? Did he know? Or was it something that he had never experienced before? It was anyone's guess, but Sasaki was flustered for a moment. Akira intervened yet again, swinging his sword and unleashing a flying slash. Sasaki's body transformed into lightning and shot upward toward the sky, avoiding the attack altogether.

Akira continued his spin, unleashing yet another flying slash, this one upward, toward the legendary warship, and the Raigou above. However, Sasaki was in the way. Pushing off of the air with Geppou, Sasaki rocketed downward toward the ascending flying slash. Spinning his Monkey King's Staff above his head, Sasaki clad it with lightning. The vibrations of Hasshō-ken once again began to reverberate, getting stronger as Sasaki spun the staff around rapidly, gathering momentum. A technique he had copied from Kaidou, thanks to his Humandrill heritage.

Kosanze Ragnaraku...!

Cladding the Monkey King's staff with both black Busou-shoku no Haki and advanced Conqueror's Haki, Sasaki swung it downward, meeting the ascending flying slash head on.

DPR: 120: 5. Town Level + S+:+5 + COA: +2 + COC: +1 = 13. Moon Level

The two attacks collided, sending a powerful shockwave in all directions in the sky. When the attack cleared, Sasaki was seen up in the air, still high above the two pirates. His sword was sheathed, and Sasaki was only wielding his Monkey King's staff - in his right. The Monkey King's staff was being spun around, unleashing an enormous amount of Heat Balls and Cool Balls up into the air. In his left, he held what looked like a small rope. The rope had three knots on it, and Sasaki pulled it apart with his hand and mouth, untying all three knots. Suddenly, the wind picked up, and enormous gales started to appear.

A Raigou, high up in the sky, thundering, lightning crackling.
Rain clouds and pouring rain.
Powerful wind gales.

The Monkey King, God of Storms. Sasaki had summoned Catastrophe.

Multiple bolts of lightning descended down toward La Spada and Akira. They were not strong enough to harm the duo, but they aimed to paralyze. Even if directly avoided, the lightning bolts would erupt into waves of static lingering electricity, aiming to lock muscles and inhibit movement to an extent. Perhaps it would not work on La Spada, but it should on Akira. Up in the sky, Sasaki started a transformation. The greatest storm was coming. Sasaki's body turned into lightning, increasing in size. Thunder God... Amaru.
