Like, FUCK that MC I was actually hoping that literally any of the 456 players would win other than him, he is shit, I didn't sympathies with him over losing custody of his daughter, I actually wanted him to lose custody, that step father was even a better person to raise a child than him.

Hmmm. Perhaps I should. Most of the time, EP 1 of a series will already let me hook. Welp aside Riverdale LMAO that was referred by a female officemate. I actually watched just so I could talk to her but eventually, it became cringy. Yikes!

If you like the genre, then episode 1 will get you hooked for sure. Riverdale.. I've heard the name before, but never bothered watching tbh lol. I'll finish SquidGame first, Lucifer after, Last season of Sex Education and maybe rewatch Vikings.

:ROFLMAO: oh I agree. I think a lot of the hype is from it being dubbed to English and it not doing what normal US dramas do. There were A LOT of moments where I was like
" :poggers: k-drama."
I don't think we were supposed to like the MC. I definitely didn't like him much better after. :ROFLMAO:

Hubs watches Riverdale. I could not get into it. Too much "teenage" angst. I watched a bit of season one but after that it got too Kooky for me.

like they usually make you sympathize with them, whether you actually like them or not. yeah you can make a MC I would not love and go with it just fine, but ffs don’t make me despise someone who would get most of the screen time

ps Americans seriously need to start accepting that one line of subtitles omg

I don't want to put too many spoilers out, but he was the most innocent at the end of it all. And I think how he played was supposed to be what we were supposed to root for... he was a shitty person to begin with :LOL: and he didn't change at all though.

And thinking Americans are able to read AND watch is being very generous. :ROFLMAO:

I know random jump in was sad to see riverdale get like that watcher the first bit cause it was filmed close to were i lived and actually got to talk to the actors on like a monthly baseses. Which kinda pushed me to watch it more.

Also Squids Game over all wasn't bad kept me engaged through it all finshed it last night would recommend got more hype then i think it deserved but hey my groups likes that genre alot so definatly made it better think it is something better to watch with someone if thats an option for you.
