The finale is nigh. Bryndi World still managed to get up and dealt a submissive blow against his own brother. The man whom he built around this crew for adventure. But that adventure has ventured to another form of venting. All those negative feelings came rushing off his mouth. Foul and growling, his words resonated across the wasted ship. More from his crew suffered a fatal blow. And now, only Hagiri stood in front of him, accused of treachery by his own. In a baritone yet mature tone, Sniper articulated.
"Between the two of us, you're the one who ruined this crew. This FAMILY. Ever since you came back 3 months ago after that prison break, you started causing havoc across the seas, killing innocent lives. We have not done that for the last 20 years, we roam the seas, and that's why the government stopped hitting on us. And now, you killed many, challenged the government, and accused us?!"
At this point, Hagiri was furious as he strode towards Bryndi. He could not even respond anymore to the lady marine nor he cared about the presence of the strong agent of pol. Quickly, he drew the calibre from his right holster and was drag them in his stroll. Cocking the hammer once, he would point the barrel at the infamous captain of the old age. BUT.
With all the sadness brimming underneath the
woken sun. The wordplay would end an era dear to some. He was hated above all. In a fair glimpse, the agent faded into the air space between the two remaining Worlds only to re-emerge upon Bryndi. The latter gazed at the Sun and alas, flashes of events cascaded in his memoir. From the time he and his brother dreamed of traversing the Grand Line to forming a team of elite 5. From the time they looted their first gold, to the moment they were hunted by the enemies. From the diary of shedding tears to the very moment, he stood right now. In his own eyes, Sebastian held a darkened trident, crackling with electricity. His eyes trembled not because of fear but because of failure to forgive. He closed his eyes as the mud tried to sneak into him. And in a perfect glide, the trident rammed his head, contorting his headgear before his eyes turned white.
The agent secured the victory.
Underneath the sea, Gairom finally hatched the real vessel of the crew. The one he created to free his captain a long time ago was never put to use. But now, it's time. The surface of the water crumbled before the steel tower of the ship puncture the hull of the wooden one, eradicating its lesser entirety. Here came the Groseade!
And as the ship banged the wood, the capsized started to sink while the rest of the fragments scattered in the sea. The bodies of their fallen ones would either float or sink. Hagiri leapt from one debris to another catching Nightin before she could even fall. But there's one more woman to save, and he would do so.
"Right here!", he said Kuvira as he reached his right palm to her while the left held the fallen. Regardless of Kuvira's decision, Hagiri had all the manners to grab the woman before jumping into the newly arrived ship.
Groseade was a massive ship that took the form of an artificial island. It was also similar to one of the Vampirates' Carriers. It consisted of smaller attachments on both sides and one on the front of the main body that served as its bow or figurehead ─ all covered with trees and buildings. The front had a spherical dome with the crew's jolly roger on the front, and housed cannons, including the ship's primary weapon, a giant cannon that, when combined with Byrnndi World's weapon-enhancing ability, has the destructive potential to destroy an entire island. There were engines and aircraft runways on the back.
Gairom roared,
"HAGIRI! HEEEEERE!"
Hagiri followed and there, he saw the unconscious body of Sebastian. He could still be alive.
"Sebastian!"
"He's good.", the scientist concurred.
"Now take Nightin down and leave this place."
With a fazed look, the sniper turned to him as he put down the two women.
"What do you─"
"You heard me clear boy, leave. We don't need you here.", Gairom said before pressing a button from the helm of the vessel. From the starboard, a decent-sized boat was unloosed, capable of bringing 3 passengers to the nearest island.
"I don't understand. I am part of this fami─"
"You're no longer a family. I am now the captain, and you're out. Ever since you came here, you have been a burden to us all. We could no longer perform the crimes we were destined to do because of you. We were supposed to be infamous and evil but for some reason, you gave us all bad luck. Go! You're nothing but a nuisance to all my projects. Just die away from here, I don't even want to hear you open that little lips of yours or I'll shoot."
Words. But inside his head, with every negative feeling he uttered, he recalled all the best memories he had with Hagiri. He remembered cradling the 6-year-old orphan, playing with him using his ability to create cubes, training him to use pistols, and teaching him how to repair ships. All those reminiscing, he translated to hatred. And it worked, for Hagiri bowed his head as tears started to burst. The old scientist turned away and look at the farthest horizon, holding all his emotions. The next time he spoke, he would mirror Hagiri's, devastated heart.
Sebastian finally woke up,
"Hagiri."
The sniper turned,
"Sebastian? Are you alri─"
The Fishman gave him a thumbs-up before closing his eyes once again. His aftermath would be left in shadows.
The sniper finally decided to get his feet on the boat after he gave Nightin his last farewell.
"Goodbye Lady. I will never forget all your kindness. You, too Sir Gairom, Uncle Sebastian. I'm sorry Pop Byojack.", then he grabbed a piece of antidote from Nightin's white coat.
Kuvira had all the decisions to follow. Bryndi might still be with the agent at this point but Gairom would speak up.
"You agent! Give me that bastard. We shall be the ones to end it. The era of the old was complete. It's for the next generations of cold to sprout. And I don't wanna be there to see it. I can only see chaos in the days to come."
