I am thinking of allowing 2 players to play one role in MM

If you completed a game since the beginning of April you need to post your participants and the MVPs in this thread! otherwise the players don't get their Salty Doubloons. (remember subbed out/modkilled folks get omitted from the lists)

I actually added MVP with this remark, but got removed cause it might lead to confusion in the countings

As I have mentioned in the last ToS Game I would like to have a small update to current ToS-base set up.

• Jailor
• Doctor
• Invesrigator o Sheriff
• 6 Random Town
• GF or Mafioso
• 2 Random Mafia
• Witch
• Survivor, Exe, Jester or Amnesiac
• 1 Random Neutral -> Neutral killing or Neutral Evil

Survivor, Exe, Jester, Amnesiac + Neutral benign is not balanced in a game with 9 Town and 3 Mafia.

We may also think about making doctor spot to Doctor or Bodyguard this way it would be much easier for Newcomer to fakeclaim as GF.
Or Coach should guide new players by telling them that claiming BG as GF use to be a bad idea.

Coaches can't interfere in game play. They can answer questions or guidance when asked, but if guidence is on how to best play a certain scenario that is playing out then coaches cannot interfere.

And thats why one might think about changing Doctor to BG or Doctor.

And about the setup to make my point clear

Changing from a balanced
"9 Town vs 4 Mafia + 1 Neutral Killing + 1 Neutral Evil"
to
"9 Town vs 3 Mafia + 2(1) Neutral Evil + 1(2) Neutral Benign"

Doesn't feel right especially with Neutral Benign use to side with Town. Removing 1 Mafia spot for another Evil or Killing create more cause and can be fun, thats why I don't condemn the setup completly, but Random Neutral should become Random Neutral bar Neutral Benign.

Wasn't BG present in one of the previous setup?
Tbh I think the setup is okay and fair, it's just the mafia has not been lucky. Being jailed on N1, the target was visited by jest N2, and blocked on N3

If one of the inactives has big role, like in this case, witch, or maybe if it was jailor, and maf, this will cause great imbalance because people will obviously know the possible role of the inactive players

People want games to go as soon as they have their role cards. If you wait for everyone to confirm then you are waiting a long time, if time limited to respond then you might miss a window for players in different timelines. Both instances you'll end up using your subs before the game even starts (and we have very few subs these days). Extending the evening phase was one way to try and get all confirmations, and is also a tactic so that the game can "start".
As for subbing out immediately, N1 actions still would not have been processed since substitution come in after a whole phase of inactivity. (And giving the day period as a chance for a player to become active is only fair since real life stuff might have come up at the moment).

My second thought said that I agree with this. Neutral benign can be less exciting sometimes for some people maybe. Adding neutral killing instead can add up more excitement and I think it is more challenge for the person itself since I think indie killing is the most difficult role in the game

Any concrete plans to regulate inactives more rigorously? Last few games I played we had half of the roster completely inactive or rather posting 2-3 posts per phase just for the sake of posting. Same ppl that should have been modkilled for having 2 posts per phase end up in the game finish or even end up amongst the winners.

It's up to the hosts if they want to include those players in their end of game report they give us for the stats and Saltys.

Yea but Jailor is towns strong point. Taking him away and making him mafia is a bit weird
So if jailor executes a townies does he still lose all other executes?
