Gave Marvel one last chance with Mark Waid's History of the MU since I probably judged them a bit too harshly as a whole based on WotR lol

It was actually pretty good, maybe it was what I needed all along. Might check out Savage Avengers and House of X next

Any website where i can buy cheap comic books?
Comixology is the one folks prefer if you want online purchases but you can still read a few without purchasing if you know the sites or you can purchase the physical copies such as floppy's / issues or straight Omnibus'

Okay, I've really been enjoying some of Marvel's current books. In particular, House/Powers of X which really surprised me, after not being a fan of other recent X-books. Absolute Carnage's first issue was great too so I might use it to jump into the Venom/Spider-Man ongoings.

Though atm I still only read 7 Marvel Books compared to 21 DC. Like I considered checking out Cap/Iron-Man solos but just thought ‘Nah, Avengers will do' but I read like 5 Bat books if you include Event Leviathan lol

Lol I skipped the entire Marvel side whereas DC I got issue 50 something after Wally and Barry shattered the Speed Force and read some batman who laughs

Glad I skipped the entire Aaron run on Thor and War (Bore) of the realms.

Absolute Carnage I'm giving a skip too, most runs I gave up with as I prefer the omnibus or special editions.

Powers of X and House of X are the only run I will read as it's Jonathan Hickman

I read some DC and Marvel when I get the time. The last thing I read from DC is the Dark Metals story arc and consequent Batman who laughs 7 issue storyline.

Lol DC is in that killing mood again, two massive deaths in as many weeks.

RIP Jessica Cruz. Pretty sad about this one tbh, she had the potential of being a really interesting Lantern and was slowly becoming one of my favorites. Apparently it might be related to Ethan Van Sciver leaving DC so who knows if she'll ever return. I just hope Williamson does something good with it at least, Simon Baz was the Lantern closest to her so maybe have him on the team seeking revenge/justice or something lol

Alfred died stupidly and there's no way he's staying dead so what's the point. Like Damian, a highly skilled assassin, out of all freaking people didn't expect Bane and Thomas to actually follow through with their threats? Just another example Tom King just writes random BS stories without truly understanding the characters lol

Jessica was one of the better characters during the reboot, sad that she's gone.

Imo best thing they have out is their current issues out with the upside down man

He's in the justice league dark issue, the event was "feeding time" I believe.

Oh I see. I didn't read that from the start since it basically started with a crossover with Wonder Woman in the most annoying way possible, like keep the book self contained for at least the first few arcs imo lol. I only just started it with the recent 'The Offer' tie in for Year of the Villain.

DC will bring both back at a latter date but Alfred dying would be a nice way to see what Bruce does next in terms of having someone there for him or its time he passes on the torch to someone else or we go through a stage of him being alone and questioning himself as he becomes a tad darker.
Maybe even have Thomas Wayne take the mantle for a temp time or have Nightwing return back and become Batman until Bruce sorts his shit together as we Bruce fat, drunk and etc. lol

As its still Year of the Villain / Leviathan / Doomsday Clock (the forever event) and likely their next event then Alfred and Jessica should return imo.

Maybe they can return Jessica Cruz as a villain later on as we still dont know whos a new villain

Oh yeah I forgot they were both in Doomsday Clock so they'll probably be back sometime before the main books catch up, probably after the Justice/Doom War from the looks of things

I was literally laughing my ass off at Bendis's Batman: Universe.

“Let The Riddler be The Riddler, Arrow. He works hard at these.”

“You're embarrassing yourself against Green Arrow. Are you feeling alright?”

The sarcasm is off the charts and I love it. To be fair though, the bar's been pretty low lately with King's 20+ issues of "She Left Me” Batman lol

House of X and Powers of X, Hickman man, what can i say this dude is the best comic writer in the last few years.

Wished DC picked him up and had him write Batman + Detective Comics, they would be the best runs ever since Millar's run.
