Well that settlss a lot of theories about Kanjuro from last week lol.

Not quite sure how Orochi would make a comeback here even if he wasnt dead.

Not quite sure if they think theyre actually gonna harm Kaido

The 9 Red Scabbards in the prophecy includes Izo all along. And I can't wait to see his way of sword combined to his gunslinging ability.
I am convinced that Kanjuro and Orochi are dead and it was implied by the Kunoichi that it was pointless to deal with Orochi way back then as it would have not changed anything. That being said, it is only admissible for Kaido to end Orochi that way but the impact of that is for his then armies to join alongside Kaido instead. I mean, regardless of Orochi's hatred towards the Kozuki clan, it was already settled by Kaido. Same with Kanjuro, but I do hope that after some time, we get to see how the battle occurred and who actually dealt the finishing blow against him.

you know what would be hilarious?, if all of this was played out by Kanjuro as if he's telling the scabbards a story. Something a like to Sai from Naruto. Like he's already defeated but he's telling them the way things will fold.

With Ulti and Who's Who being shown i guess that will have them use their DF's next chapter
Kaido defo is likely to kill one of the scabbards and taunt Momo

Damn this chapter was lit, I also think the editor lives in the future, the editor always lives in the future, also Oda is always up to 2 chapters ahead of us!
After seeing this I am more and more certain that a Scabbard will die, and I had this theory since I saw Kine'mon in Wano for the first time.
Also people now can fanboy the Mink Emperor vs Jack fight.
I also wouldn't mind if Jack kills a Scabbard resulting in Zoro jumping in to fight Jack, or Jack being low diffed by Zoro + Luffy until he makes a come back later during the fights.

Orochi and Kanjuro are done for good, the only way I can see them comming back is as chaotic Third Party force to disturb the battles, take a life, get redeemed, I dont know anymore at this point.
Also where the heck is Robin, I wanna see her starting the Poneglyph sideplot.

Yamato more and more becomming a good character and I see many parallels to Oden, also Oden was emotional and thankful for freedom.
Yamato will side with Luffy and Momo and be loyal to them. Also starting to think that Ulti will again be low diffed by Yamato. Or maybe mid diffed on guard.

4/5 chapter tho, I have some issues with Scabbards - Kanjuro plothole. It's weirdly placed, the rest is dope.

Kine'mon

Out of all the scabbards his would be the most "impactful" death to have a editor cry. None of the others dying would really be that impacting.

• Ashura Doji i don't see dying tbf as even if he dies it wont be much
• Denjiro dying wouldn't really be as much as i see Denjiro and Ashura becoming the Right Hands of Momo
• Izo, Raizou, Kawamatsu and O-Kiku i see neither dying
• Neko and Inu i don't see either dying either due to the whole "Mink" stuff as they will be used as in betweeners to have the Minks move to Onigushima in the near future from Zou
• Kine'mon is the only one who's death would be the most impacting just because he was a father figure and the fans have gotten accustomed to him.

If it's none of the Scabbards then i see Yamato being included as an option but i don't see her dying as she will prove useful post-wano and then there's Hiyori who could be a wildcard to save Momo as she dies. If she dies then i see Denjiro dying too.

Yes Kine'mon is a good option, he is generally an emotional character, he opened up everything, without him we would have never got the full story of Oden and Wano, he was the gate to the current plot, he was the one putting the most effort and he swore his life to protect Momo. Kine'mon is the candidate, also because he was the closest to Kanjuro. Only plothole here is O-Tsuru, but Pedro also was a plothole, since many characters couldn't see him once again.

But here we have similair aspects as both went into their representative conflicts with the mindset to find an end. And death between the scabbards became more and more a hot topic. It's literally now mentioned it every chapter, plus the Sunachhi (throw away your wits) leads to them throwing everything away just for this fight, just to snowball the success/win for the alliance/Wano.

Momo will have to become a true man by telling O-Tsuru that Kine'mon died as probably the biggest hero Wano has ever seen.

Izo legit best Scabbard and Yonko Commander level, King here getting his mid/high diff clash. I love it so much.

splendid chapter. I love how the scabbards were the one to stop the executiona and they stabbed Kaido without any fear.

What a chapter!! The war is beginning!
I’m so tired of this Pound storyline bruh... but anyway.
Needed to see Kanjuro die, wouldn’t make sense for him to win against all those scabbards didn’t want him to get off-screened though. It was a bit sad to see him dead with the flashback though.
If Kanjuro and Orochi survive (I think it’s likely for the latter) they can start a new Kurozumi faction, but I doubt it because Orochi’s men switch sides.
Notice how Kin speaks of taking a last stand...
Also Luffy refers to Yamato as “Yama-o”, which I read somewhere is him referring to Yamato as a guy (I.e “Tura-o = Tra-guy”)
Usopp & Chopper vs Numbers??
Gonna have to give a W to Momonosuke of course, and all the scabbards too, especially Izo and Neko.

I don't mind to see Kinemon dying in this plot. Like what most of the people say, he set to tone of this war and had been with us for 3 arcs and I think that he had done so much to fill the hearts of the readers and killing him off would make a huge impact on the revolution and Denjiro's position when all these things have been settled.

The rest of the lads have no reason to die nor it will give such an impact as compared to Kin. Also, his previous panels were too huge and meaningful to be ignored especially how the scabbards respected his so-called plan to manifest and how he has put his heart into making this happen.

With regards to the Kanjuro scene, I am pretty sure that one of this future panels will demonstrate how the death occurred. I am positive. Could be revealed during the burial as a flashback

I agree. It would be devastating to see Kin die. I remember not being super fond of him and Momo in PH but after spending most of the New World with the two I love them a lot and they basically ‘almost-SH’s’ for me alongside Vivi and etc.

I especially have come to love him during Wano. I do love the other scabbards, but none of their deaths would hit hard like Kin does.

EDIT: if Kin was to die I would want him to go out with a bang. He hasn’t been shown to be an amazing fighter during his many years in the series but during Wano he has been notorious among the Wano citizens and opposition, almost like the ’leader’ (kinda) of the scabbards. So I want him to demonstrate some real power before he would go, if he is to go.
