Damn the scabbards were actually really badass this chapter! It actually kinda gives me hope that they can do this! Increadible considering how they stand no chance even 9 vs 1 against Kaido hahahah

Pretty excited to see what Yamato can do vs her dad as well. I think she is really the only one in the group besides Luffy or Marco who can even damage Kaido at this point. Gonna get real lit real soon! LET'S GO! SUNATCHI

Well that settlss a lot of theories about Kanjuro from last week lol.

Not quite sure how Orochi would make a comeback here even if he wasnt dead.

Not quite sure if they think theyre actually gonna harm Kaido

Linlin comes and uses Napoleon to.... execute Kaidou! With Kaidou still veing suprised from scabbard attack.

With Editor dropping tears referring to...him being a big Kaidou Fan, hyped for the fight against Kaidou...

Why would big mom betray kaido ? Also dont you think she would have had 30 years to figure ourlt kaidos weakness.

She def knows his weakness but i dont think he can be killed by sword. The chapter beginning even stated even gulliton broke apart .

In the WCI arc Big Mom said that she would be able to defeat Kaidou, Shanks and WB if Lola agreed to marriage. Thus i believe she will wait out the moment Kaido is vulnerable and than she will betray him.

She was talking about influence and strength in numbers that time. She might have too many children but I want to believe that in terms of force in combat, she lacks that as compared to the other yonkos. That being said, she needs the influence of giants and vinsmoke in order to be inevitable across the seas.

I watched it and it's dope, demo I don't think there's a deeper implication on that screen time. It might have been an indication that Kanjuro and Kin were allies at that point in time.

-Kin'emon and Denjiro recognise Izo
-Fukurokuju and Hotei swearing allegiance to Kaido is either a lack of loyalty to Orochi, or a false loyalty to Kaido
-Shinobu is still free, hope this is actually setting something up, but will wait and see
-Kaido asks Momonosuke his name, and so the test of conviction is set
-Yamato surprised by something they didn't know about, that might change their whole perspective on life
-Luffy did that Rayleigh thing
-Who's Who and Ulti headed for Luffy and Yamato on the performance stage
-Franky Shogun legs are on the move
-Shots of Law, Kid, and Zoro (also Bepo seems to be enjoying himself behind Law)
-As expected, Momo passes the test...
-...much to the displeasure of Kaido
-Yamato surprised by unsurprising things, granted maybe they don't realise that they could probably tank an explosion
-Luffy recognises the Scabbards' resolve and intentions
-King, Queen, and Jack are completely unprepared, amazing
-Kaido recalls Oden right before the Scabbards attack

I think Knajuro's comeback would just be in the sake of sacreficing himself in a dramatic way for Kin, Luffy,Momo or just one of the Scabbards he had noice flashback with. meh betrayal is in his genes or something as he said but he for sure has some emotions for his old mates and Oden, nobody can be emotionless and just live for betrayal. somewhere deep down he feels regret for what he have done. it doesn't make sense that someone who had somewhat a role in how this story is shaped in the last few arcs to die an off-panel death like this without it being to emotional at all. we didn't see how they felt killing him neither did we hear his last words or whatever.
Ps it doesn't even make sense efter what he said to just jump ship and be with Orochi's side and that's it. things gotta have a coclusion.

I love the sacrificing part, especially when they realized that they worked for a monster and literally played into its hands!

About Luffy doing the Rayleigh thing: I think it mostly shows that Luffy reaches slowly another level, something that comes close to Out-of-prime Rayleigh. LUffy is still far away from the Prime Rogers level, but he is slowly gaining their powers and abilities. He still lacks their expertise tho, but Luffy is known for gathering his own expertise and knowledge really quick. I am hyped about it!

He still lacks their expertise tho, but Luffy is known for gathering his own expertise and knowledge really quick. I am hyped about it!

Thanks, and yeah I don't think he's quite at Rayleigh's level, it's just showing that's he's becoming more competent and able to do things that he couldn't before. It reminds me of the return to Sabaody, and how much easier it was for him to take out a Pacifista after the timeskip.

I keep things to bullet points in my reviews, but I could probably go on and on about a lot of things I notice in One Piece.
