Arlong Park:
It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, No, I-I-It’s.... - #1

A quaint summer island in the East Blue was not as warm as the weather would suggest. Where one would expect bustling colored towns laid grey and decaying settlements. The people who were left were much like the ravaged buildings; lifeless and downtrodden. Those without hope.

The Arlong Pirates, the scourge of East Blue, had ravaged the town and held it hostage, exchanging their very lives for Beri. In Arlong Park, where the bulk of the crew resided, the town’s heart and soul lay prisoner; a magician with maps and lover of oranges. Bound by ambition and fear of the past to repeat.

Dozens of fishmen lounged in Arlong Park. A large being rummaged beneath the waters, casting a shadow in the sea next to Arlong Park even a plane could see. Well-guarded fortress.

One would defy all logic.

[Shaarib] ”Oya Oya, is the shark named Arlong here?”
The dozens of mermen would look up. They’d marvel at the bird speaking. Thinking it some joke, they pointed and gasped, laughing as it passed. They did not answer. If the bird persisted, they would take out rifles and start shooting.

Coming out to see the commotion, three tall fishmen came out of the fortress, looking up.

# Things never changed thought once again Shaarib as he was readjusting his goggles with his left wing. Pirates were always trying to undermine what they couldn’t understand. Is previous self would’ve rushed in the mêlée without thinking. He didn’t need that anymore. These « strong » pirates in front of him were insects.

- "Aaaaaaight."

While they kept laughing, the three commanders of Arlong made their presence known for everyone. Shaarib knew them well. To this day he had the intel the government gave to sell the 169th. First was the pirate named Kuroobi, a ray Fishman with ponytails wearing a karate gi. The man was known to be a proficient user of Fishman Karate, at least at the time. Next to him stood an octopus with grey hair and wore what looked like a sailor onesie with yellow and dark red stripes; it was Hatchan. The last one was a blonde smelt-whiting Fishman, Chew. The blonde wearing a stripped vest and a faded black pant. Chew was the one Shaarib was supposed to fight and the fact that Shaarib was once scared of even facing them made him laugh little. The sword agent came a long way. The interesting thing was he now recognized the tattoo Hatchan had on his forehead, the same one Kuroobi and Jimbei had on their torso. A shame they choose to follow Arlong...

Still in his bird form, he pondered on what action to take. He could punish all of them, one by one and let Arlong hear the screams of his crew-mates or he could destroy everything in the vicinity. One thing he could do was to probably go with second option and if they were survivor he could torture them indefinitely until it bored him out. Being a phoenix had it perks. The bird began to fly and slowly opened it's beak and let out a cry. The noise got so strong it created a burst that went out to destroy things around Shaarib.#

Tristesse : In his phoenix form, he let out a cry which create a burst that blast things around him.

Arlong Park:
Attack from Above! - #2

Bullets had no use. The Birman soared around the forstress and the fishmen became more distressed. A shout let out soundwaves that caused destruction below. The three officers of Arlong Pirates jumped into the water for safety - the water muffling the attack. Some took shelter in the fortress. Others were knocked unconscious. The buildings cracked at the power of the bellow.

There was silence at this unprovoked attack. Why had this bird come for them? Could a bird even have intentions? One thing the Arlong Pirates did not take was insolence. A response came next.

Suddenly, the waters started churning. A whirlpool formed, and at the middle, Kuroobi and Chu appeared. Behind them MooMoorose from the water. It took all three, but a large column of water appeared from the center of the whirlpool and shot upwards towards the bird

[Chu/Kuroobi] “Spear Wave!”

The beam had incredible destructive power, along with being able to trap those hit within the column of seawater, blowing them into the nearby town.

Hatchan, being the only one out of the water, looked up. Unlike the other officers, he was more level-headed, and inquired.

[Hatchan] “Hey! What do you want with us?! We don even know you!!”
Indeed. As a bird and years later. The Arlong Pirates could not recognize Sharrib.

# Things were always the same, pirates were boring. They always had the same reaction, they always thought they could fight abasing any opponent and win. In this particular case, it wasn't a fight, just a one sided massacre. Two of Arlong's commanders went in the water threw at Shaarib a spear made of sea water. They might have been proud of their little move, the bird with his enhanced abilities saw it coming in slow motion. He was able to dodge the missile easily by moving to his left. On the ground, the octopus said :

[Hatchan] “Hey! What do you want with us?! We don even know you!!”
Funny for invaders to think that. This pirate crew came on an island that never was there and enslaved the inhabitants. Now they were asking what problems he might had with them ? Shaarib dove towards Hatchan at full speed. It looked like he wanted to crash into the octopus but he suddenly stopped and with his right claws tried to cut diagonally thr fishman from bottom to top, right to left. #

Arlong Park:
Attack from Above! - #3

The lone bird proclaimed his intentions. They were met by aggression. Arrogance and anger fueled a blind attack. Combining their attacks, a column of water shot upwards. However, the bird evaded and swooped down at incredible speeds. Hatchan, the octopus, widened his eyes and screamed.

The bird stopped on cue and slashed. Hatchan did not even see the attack coming. His body was gently lifted upwards, blood splattering from his now opened chest. The technique bore such power, the octopus was mortally wounded.

[Hatchan] “B-But, why....?”

Hatchan fell, his eyes turning white as he drew his last breath. Indeed, he was shocked. Though their crimes were Gray, Hatchan was one with a noble heart. A heart that was cut down by the booodthirsty intruder who posed as the jury, judge, and the executioner. The defense had no able attorney.

As soon as Hatchan was cut down, Kuroobi and Chu shot from the water at blinding speeds, as if shot from a canon. Indeed, water allowed them to be faster as fish themselves. Both came from the bird man’s exposed side, both attacking in tandem, performing a hard punch with power to break 1,000 tiles; Kuroobi aimed for the bird’ exposed shoulder and Chu for the bird’s exposed lower side abdomen.

[Kuroobi] “Senmaigawara Seiken!!!”
[Chu] “Senmaigawara Seiken!!”
Senseless and angry, the fishmen attacked. Whoever this person was, he was their enemy; Hatchan’s blood was proof enough. They were superior to humans, and birds. They would not yield.

# The first one was down, Shaarib knew it when his claws tore trough his torso like a knife with butter. The octopus was surprised when he got hit, he was dying but still mustered in his strength to ask why Shaarib was doing this. Sadly for him, he will never have an answer. Maybe if Shaarib didn't let his innate talent to feel emotions he might have survived.

A little laugh came from the bird beak. He was able to save the man from his death but he was a pirate that helped or stood still when the others were killing the people on this island. The others were going to meet him soon, he will not be alone in hell. As a priest, the customs were that he needed to pray on their bodies to guide them towards the Goddess. They didn't deserve to meet her. He will have to ask for her forgiveness and maybe sacrifice something. While Shaarib was asking himself what he might sacrifice. The two officers left decided to attack. They propelled themselves out of the water ready to inflict one of their karate attacks but it has no use. The bird simply flapped his wings with great force in their way, blasting them away. This time Shaarib used all the strength his new body permitted him too. The transformation isn't infinite and Arlong wasn't still there.

Transmigration : Flaps his wings and blast his opponent away

Arlong Park:
Sweet Revenge! - #4

Inside the tower, against the first floor door, but peering through a peephole, a towering figure lurched. It was a large, muscular, light blue saw-sharp fish-man with a distinctive saw-shaped nose. His long black hair parted ways on the fin on his nape, his unbuttoned yellow cabana shirt was shrouded in shadow, as were his eyes, wide in surprise of what he saw next.

The lone bird flapped his wings. The wind produced blew Chu and Kuroobi away. Their bodies were tossed like dolls and crashed into the walls of the compound, leaving an imprint behind them. They lived, however, their hands trembling, attempting to get up.

[Arlong] “Forget this stinking island! I-I-I must escape...”

Arlong thought to himself, deeming this foe too powerful. For one as Arlong, self-preservation was more important. Even more than the riches this dirt of a village afforded him. His three officers were taken down without effort. A hatch was opened slowly inside the tower; an escape hatch to the front pool in front of the palace.

He was soon underwater and with the large Sea Cow. Underwater and out of the bird’s hearing, he spoke to the sea cow.
[Arlong] “Mooomoo! You distract him while I get help! Now!”
Lying through his teeth, Arlong had instructed Moomoo to attack. The shadow that hung on the water in front of the palace swelled up. A large giant sea cow appeared, overlooking Arlong Park. A seal-like creature in white and green, the Sea Beast had hardened skin, a big round nose with a gold nose ring, and cow-like feature like horns.

The Sea Beast, however, looked frightened. Indeed, a tear was in his eye. He did not want to attack, either out of fear or a noble heart, or likely, both. Instead, Moomoo’s eyes grew wide and he stared at the bird. In a failed attempt to intimidate, he mooed, his voice cracking and body trembling.

Meanwhile, Arlong began swimming deep underwater out of the park. His life over everything. He had no qualms with abandoning his crew.

# Minutes passed and Shaarib was getting more and more impatient. The bird has been waiting and it looked like the shark was too afraid to come at him. He regretted how fast he killed the others pirates. Arlong had no where to go so he will came out soon or the sword agent was going to destroy the building with him in it. It wasn't until he saw the sea cow emerge from the water that he realized how much of a fool he was. The beast was more frightened than anything. It was the same beast that tried to kill him with the help of Chuu and Kuroobi. Even though the winged-man was spiteful he had no utility in killing a beast that wasn't even going to defend itself.

The bird slowly changed form, Shaarib was back to normal at least at 90%. The skypiean kept the talons. He slowly walked towards Arlong Park and did an horizontal kick in the wind. The movement created an air blade that grew on this path to cut the main foundations of the building and then it will fall on itself.

Requirements: 51 mastery, 41 strength
Destruction Potency: B +2 (Hardened) ==> Island Level
Description: the user creates a large Rankyaku in the shape of a bird, . This Rankyaku has a much wider range, greater attack power, and is capable of cleaving steel - something not witnessed from other variations. The cut also seems more focused, instead of flickering and jagged like a normal

Shaarib took out a cigarette and began smoking it watching Arlong Park's destruction. His tracksuit and goggles got covered by dust but it was fine. Being full of himself, Shaarib wasn't able to get to Arlong. He let the man flee but at least he wasn't ever going to come back to the island. The Arlong's Pirates were no more. So he kept his promise. This island was now his, soon the people will go back to their previous lives. They will come and see on each house the flag of the Shaarib's Pirates. They might not even recognize him but Shaarib didn't care. He was done. Now he had only one location left before going back to the New World. The zoan user was going home and he was not going to forgot to ask Fishman Island about any news on Arlong.

- "Arlong Park is now mine. Soon we will build Shaarib's Park or an edifice for the godesss." He then turned to look at the cow. " Do you still want to fight ?"

Arlong Park:
Sweet Revenge! - #5

Life over nakama. The pirate captains and ex-Sun Pirate had fled. The shark Fishman heard the words of Jinbei in his memories, as loud as a horn. Words that cut deeper than any blade. The water around him was witness to Arlong’s heart growing even more with hate. Humans had once again taken those close to him, taken fishmen lives.

Arlong bit his lip as he swam, the red blood serving as a reminder of his pain. He would avenge them. He would grow stronger. The hate in his heart swelled to reached far gone. A demon of the sea.

[Arlong] “I’ll.... kill all humans!”

Back in Arlong Park, Moomoo stood nervous and frightened. The Arlong Park castle fell. The Sea Cow turned to Sharon as he spoke. With a nervous bow, Moomo stood down. Abandoned on these seas, the sea cow was without family or friends. The saved island would bear his fate. An island now finally safe from the hate of fishmen.

The Arlong Pirates, this version, were no more. Deep in the sea, however, Arlong plotted. As long as he and his hate were alive, the Arlong Pirates would never truly die. His goal of race superiority only heightened with the burden of his brother’s deaths on his shoulder.

Perhaps Sharrib wanted to save the town. fighting hate with hate, he only created despair. Instead of cutting down the hate, he created more. Islands would suffer even more than here. The cycle of hate would continue, now with newfound will.

A large man, roughly 10 feet tall, was laying in a bed inside a house. His body was covered in multiple layers, colors and patterns of kimono garbs, his eyes closed - he was unconscious, or at the very least, asleep. Standing beside the bed, looking at him were multiple people. An older man with a black moustache and a funny hat on top of his head. Two younger men, one with shades and one without, and a young woman of blue hair and a beautiful figure. They all had an awkward look of worry on their faces, unsure what to say or do.

I wonder who he is... he's so big. The woman said.

He looks dangerous. Why did you two fools bring him here? The older man complained.

We found him at the shoreline. He was unconscious. The younger man with shades said.

And then there's this one... The younger man without shades pointed out.

He pointed toward an unusually tall and intimidating young girl standing in the corner of the room, staring at them.

Her eyes were a strange golden color, and her pupils were star shaped. She had a pair of small black wings on her back. They had never seen a girl like that before. Suddenly, the bedridden man opened his eyes, startling the four. They looked at him - his eyes were a blood red color. They couldn't help but feel like he, too, just like the girl, was strange. He elevated into a sitting position. Once there, he grimaced in pain and grabbed the back of his head with his right hand.

Where... am I...

The man said, before looking at the girl across the room.

S... who are these people?

The man asked. The girl seemed to be named S. But, she did not respond. She did not speak, and the man had a habit of talking to her nonetheless. They seemed to know each other.

Where... am I...
"Conomi Island. We took ya in cause you were all washed up on the shoreline with that strange girl by your side." Replied the young man.

"You idiot!" Exclaimed the old man with a mustache, punching the young man for foolishly giving out information to a stranger. "Didn't I just say he looks dangerous!"

"C'mon now, don't rough him too much. The man did ask where he was, he doesn't seem too much trouble, so far." Chimed in the woman.

S... who are these people?
"I'm afraid we can't answer you just plainly like the other guy did. You're gonna have to say who you are first; we found you and brought you here since you looked like you could use the help."

"And can you shed some light on your relationship to that strangely huge girl over there?"
Added the shaded young man. Pointing at the peculiar young girl with dark skin and golden eyes.

S snickered when the older gentleman hit the other one.

"And can you shed some light on your relationship to that strangely huge girl over there?" Added the shaded young man. Pointing at the peculiar young girl with dark skin and golden eyes.
When asked about who he was, the bedridden man had but one answer.

K-Kumo...

That was all he could come up with. Whether the four would find his answer satisfactory, as he did give a name, or they would find it ridiculous that he would not expand on who he was, remained to be seen. But, Kumo did not know more than that. The headache kicked in again, and he grabbed the back of his head one more time. A few moments later, the headache subsided and Kumo shifted, placing his feet on the wooden floor. He stood up. As he rose, the four would really get a full picture of how large he was.

10 feet tall, as tall as a Navy Admiral. But, still clearly a human. He started to walk toward the front door, intending on leaving the house. No thank you to those that had found him, or any other words. Very strange behavior.

S followed him.

"K-Kumo?" Stuttered the woman, he arose from the bed and stood tall. Really-Really tall! He dwarfed both her and the others within the room!

"Ah-AH!" Exclaimed the old man, his jaw dropping. "I knew he was big lying down but, He's tall!"

"Yeah- We can see that old geezer."
Jeered the Shade-less young man. The old man, ticked off once again, rushed the young man. Roughing him up with a fist raised above his head ready to beat him senseless however the other young man came in to stop them.

"HEY! Stop being a bunch of idiots, he's leaving!" Shouted the woman.

"What?!" Exclaimed the old man with a mustache. "This is bad, we can't let him parade around here. What if Arlong and his crew sees?"

The group paused. "Sir! We can't let you parade around the strikes like that; we have a bit of an issue... Here on this island specifically." Said the old man.

The old man kept shouting. No words came back from Kumo, and the next sound that could be heard, comically, was the knob of the door. Kumo ignored everything and just walked out into the street. S was right behind him, one looking stranger than the other. They would without a doubt attract attention out in the open. But, it was lunch time, so most people were in their houses, having lunch - the streets were relatively empty. Kumo and S started to walk down the street, looking around. Kumo had no idea where he was, or how he got here. As he walked down the street, he saw a stand on the side. Kumo stopped, looking toward the stand from a few meters away.

The sign on the stand read the following.

Bounty jobs right 'ere! Come n' get 'em!

It was a strange stand. It looked very makeshift, like it had been put up in 3 minutes, 5 minutes ago. If any of the four locals decided to come running after Kumo and S, they would also find the stand strange. They had never seen it here in this village. Kumo walked up to the stand, and manning it was a strange, shady looking woman.

Does that mean if I kill somebody with a bounty, you'll pay me?

Kumo asked, towering over the woman, almost over the stand itself. The woman grinned.

Yup, that's right...! Here's my business card, call me if you ever get any!

The woman said, handing her Vivre Card to Kumo. Kumo took it, stashing it away.

Your clothing... is very expensive and well made. Why would a guy like you want to be a bounty hunter?

The woman asked curiously. Kumo answered.

I don't know.

He said, before walking away. He continued down the strength. By this point, one of the kids from inside a house noticed him through the window, marveling at his height.

The old man rushed out of the house, he left behind the two young men and the woman. "Where the hell does he think he's going?" Mentally inquired the old man. He looked down the street they lived on and a weird stand caught his attention...

"That wasn't there before? What's going on here, first a strange new fella and a makeshift stand spawning out of nowhere?" He was bewildered, he halted sliding in the dirt and maintaining his balance. His face screamed an anxious concern, it was a thought a constant pressure was on his shoulders. He noticed that both the man and the girl stopped by the stand and later left after what seems to be a short conversation.

"Does that make this "Kumo" fella a bounty hunter?" He rhetorically muttered. "Ah-"

He said, before walking away. He continued down the strength. By this point, one of the kids from inside a house noticed him through the window, marveling at his height.
The old man had no time to marvel at the peculiarities of these new phenomena popping up throughout the village, lest spaceships descend from the sky or a sun plummets from the sky they're not in any true danger. Not yet. "What're you standing around for, you're going to lose him!" Exclaimed the women he'd left in the house. "W-wait!" He called, pursuing her.

Kumo and S walked, and the old man from earlier was quickly catching up to them, running. He shouted for them to wait, but they did not listen. What did the old man want? Surely them leaving the village was what he would like - and yet, why was he stopping them? Those would be good thoughts for Kumo to have, but he did not. Instead, his mind was completely taken over by a myriad of other questions.

Where am I?
How did I get here?
Why is my mind blank?
Why can't I remember anything from my past?
Why does my head keep hurting?

Indeed, those were the important questions that needed answers. And yet, Kumo had no clue to go after. Perhaps he would simply have to wait. Maybe whatever happened to him, would go way on its own.

He turned around, pointing his index finger toward the trailing old man. A blob of purple liquid suddenly accumulated at the tip of Kumo's finger. He then fired it like a bullet, but the blob of liquid would hit the ground in front of the pursuing old man, making him stop. The liquid would not hit him. Kumo stared at the old man, his blood red eyes glaring.

What do you want? We're leaving.

Oh... well, I do have a question. Does your village have anyone with a bounty on their head?

A question out of nowhere.

"Yeesh-" He uttered as he came to a full stop. "I- Well-" He was at a loss of words, the strange liquid let off a strange fume that tainted the nearby air. The old man stuttered and shook and took a subtly step back. "He's powered..." He thought.

"T-That's fine. Ahem I just couldn't have you parading the streets. I'm sorry for tailing ya."

Oh... well, I do have a question. Does your village have anyone with a bounty on their head?

"W-well, there's probably someone on Arlong's crew that has an active bounty on their head. They're the big shots on this island you see, unfortunately I can't give you any pointers as to whom they might be but if you want business with Arlong you can find him in his park with his buddies on the other side of this town." He anxiously replied.

They're the big shots on this island you see, unfortunately I can't give you any pointers as to whom they might be but if you want business with Arlong you can find him in his park with his buddies on the other side of this town." He anxiously replied.
Much to Kumo's surprise, as shown by a slight widening of his eyes, the old man had an answer for him. Kumo nodded and thanked the old man for the information.

I see. That should suffice. For now, I need money...

Kumo said, turning around and walking in the direction of Arlong Park. S smiled and gave the old man a playful peace sign, before turning around as well and following Kumo. And with that, the two would disappear from the village. Now, they were on their way somewhere. As they walked, Kumo was deep in thought, thinking about his next moves.

Time to procure some resources. Then, we'll get out of here. This island has nothing to offer me.

Kumo thought.

"Wow... That was much smoother than I thought." Muttered the old man, the poison still gurgling in the ground.

"I know, watching from the sidelines I almost saw you bite the dust back there." Said the woman, surprising the old man.

"Who cares at this point, I sent him to Arlong. He seems strong enough; let's just let either one of them deal with it." Replied the old man, turning about to go his merry way.

"The girl was surprisingly cute in her mannerisms, just weirdly quiet and tall." She openly commented following the old man.

"JA!HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" Loudly cackled our fish star, the King and center of the show. His serrated nose plunged through the open air as his jaws widened allowing him to blast his hearty cackle to the world! He had a merry time with his fellows at his park, afterall. They controlled this very island.

Kumo and S walked for a while, but before long, Arlong Park would be on the horizon. It seemed like a massive complex, and undoubtedly, all of Arlong's forces were there. Kumo and S had just walked through a forest path to get to where they were now. After coming to a stop, Kumo's eyes narrowed, glancing sharply toward the park in the distance.

There's no point raiding that place all at once. We don't know how many forces they have... though I'm sure it'd be easy to kill them all at once.

Kumo said. The arrogance and confidence had to be coming from somewhere. Did Kumo even know the state his body was in currently? Perhaps his amnesia had confused him in terms of his actual abilities, and what he was capable of in his current state. Regardless, luckily, his shrewdness prevailed over his arrogance on instinct, and Kumo could not help but proceed with a more strategic approach.

S... go lure one of them out. Lead them to the forest.

Kumo said, turning around and walking back into the shadows of the forest. S smiled and nodded, obedient toward Kumo. S pushed off of the ground and dashed toward Arlong Park with blistering speed. Once she was in range, she would leap into the air, landing on the top of the front gate. There, she would wait for somebody to notice her. Once somebody did, she would jump off of the gate back outside, slow in her retreat on purpose, so somebody would follow her.
