My thoughts on jester is that there really isn't a way to fit it in.
I mean we have the Hargreaves kids (up to 7) at least 3 to 4 named time folks a possibility for a serial killer and maybe one disapproving father figure. Not to mention a bird watcher, a monkey, and one of the kids being a possible bomb... and that's if we're only looking at season 1.

The only innocent child could be Five... but Five is an 80 year old(ish) man in a 12 year old's body. Which would mean Five in the opening is actually a playable character and not a narrative device for this game.

So not sure on abilities for those roles yet, but the characters would be filler types if not all the kids are present, or maybe the safe claims . There's the father who never approved of anything the kids did and dickishly kept vanya from reaching her full potential. Vanya would then be the ticking time bomb that *spoiler* is the cause of the apocalypse. The monkey is a genetically modified talking chimp named Pogo who turned butler to Mr. Hargreaves and has been with him since the beginning. The bird watching Lady becomes the love interest to Hazel (time bad dude) and becomes his Achilles heel. Oh and then there is Mother. Forgot her, she's a robot but was the nanny to the kids.

It's why there is a flavor! You figure out set ups based on flavor and figure out the claims using the flavor. It's why most games in trad the badies are given fake claims to better hide in the themes. It's like y'all just use square pegs in round holes these days...
