Caribou is already a Nakama. Dude has been lowkey the MVP of Wano. The crew needs a crafty dude, he will make a fine addition.

Caribou was literally begging luffy to let him join his crew and hes been doing a bunch of great stuff so I agree 100% plus the SHs should get an non OP logia at some point

How about you give up on me giving up. Monet is as dead as Enel was, the only difference is the explanation on how Monet survived is postponed to when she's reintroduced in the story. She's alive deal with it.

Yes there are both logias but the difference is the DFs

Energy wasn't revived by some unknown means, he was resuscitated by jump starting his heart with his devil
Monet doesnt have that ability and even if she did her heart was still punctured

Restarting a heart with a hole in it will just be pumping blood out of the open wound

Let me be clear, I don't want Monet to be dead and i used to believe that she was alive but I never believed she was going to join the crew
And given that it's been 4 arcs since she died her surprise reveal serves no purpose
Especially given her boss (who she was eternally devoted to) has already been taken out but Luffy
She wouldn't join the guy who defeated her boss and got her sister (Sugar) thrown in jail

I never suggested Monet could restart her own heart, my guess is in the second paragraph, she put herself into a slumber which puts her in state of suspended animation having the effect to slow or stop her biological functions so that her physiological capabilities are preserved, thus helping the wound to coagulate while conserving herself.

Surprise reveal or not, Monet's purpose is fundamental to reach the One Piece without her there is no Pirate King. Her knowledge of the Moons and the most chaotic sea in the One Piece world, the new world, is essential.

Doflamingo lied to her, deceived her, manipulated her and used her loyalty against her to keep her locked in his cage. In short, Luffy is her savior. As for her sister Sugar, she's of no importance at this point, they never mentioned each others name or had any interaction in the story.

By the way, there are three strong parallels with Monet, first Monet as a bird and Doflamingo's birdcage. Second, Monet the loyal subordinate who allegedly died and the reappearance of another trustworthy follower who was supposed to have been killed as well, the Hyena Bellamy. Then the third, the sisters Monet and Sugar in comparison to the two brothers, Doflamingo and Rosinante.

It's fine, i believe Monet is alive and she will join the crew.

It's not a theory, and to say "there is no evidence that he restarted his heart with his df" is incorrect

There is no evidence that space travel is needed to become pirate king, that is a baseless statement

And even if it is there are other astronomers in the world, navigators use the stars the navigate at night and are well versed in constellations

If Monet were to give up on Doffy as her boss it would've made more sense for her to reappear in Dressrosa to have her understand that Dofflamingo is a bad person
Not 4 arcs later when Doflamingo and Monet are no longer relevant

There has been no mention of the crew needing to go to space, you're making an assumption based on your own expectations

IF Monet is alive there is no reason/need for her to join the Strawhat crew nor would she even want to

Since when is knowledge about the Moons needed? I always thought Robin is the key, because you need to able to read the Red Poneglyphs. And with Jinbei there already joined someone with experience about the chaotic sea n not to mention that Strawhats have Nami.

Doflamingo saved them so they decided to throw away their lives for their new family. They got their DFs after joining Doflamingos crew.

As for her sister Sugar, she's of no importance at this point, they never mentioned each others name or had any interaction in the story.

Based on what we know about the BGstory we can expect like Hancock and her sister. Maybe Sugar doesn't know Monet died.

If Monet is alive she will Most likely search for her sister and the rest of her family. Maybe trying to start a rescues mission similar to what we have seen with Baroque Works Cover Story.


Another reason why I doubt that Monet is going to join. I see no reason for her to move forward on the GL.

I don't understand, how am i suppose to explain and defend my points on who i believe is going to join the crew if i can't refute those who are against my opinion? A user said Monet won't be a Strawhat cause she's dead and was stabbed in the heart, so i merely gave him a scenario where i justify how she survived.

So can i keep discussing Monet as a Strawhat as a whole, because my comments aren't limited to the likehood of her survival.
Or should i make a thread named, The real Next Strawhat Nakama Thread with Debates?

Or if Big Mom joins, then Oven can come with her to, cause they are the Smoker and Tashigi of the Whole Cake pirates but reversed, Oven is Big Mom's favorite son too, he reminds her of Kaido.

I always thought about Ceasar joining Blackbeard, so if SHPs really need a scientist then Jajji is the closest option nearby.
Tho imagine Daifuku being wiped in Wano and Katakuri being killed by Blackbeard, Oven will be alone and he will join the SHPs

Agreed about another girl joining, Yusuke. Can't imagine Moriah not retreating and plan revenge against BB. He did kill Absalom, or so it would seem.

Well it's a little bit of a tangent but I don't see Perona joining up with Moriah to serve BB. Still have Perona for late game nakama. The chemistry with the other Mugiwaras is too good to pass up on.
