Can someone explain to me what the fuck is happening in DC right now ? I read the last Justice League issue and oh boy I’m lost.
__
I’m following Batman and I’m a little disappointed of that last issue. T^T

Just the last issue of JL? It's kind of one you need to read the entire run lol

That's just Tom King doing what Tom King does, his job is to break characters so others can later pick up the pieces and fix them lol

I think the last chapter I read was the one in which Batman helped Supes find the sun and « revive » him.

Why is Lex looking like this ? Who is that goddess ?

Lex merged himself with Martian Manhunter since Perpetua's original Apex race was split into humans/martians when she was locked away lol

She created a multiverse before but decided to go against some kind of 'judges' with them since she favoured Doom or whatever, her son's (the Monitor, Anti-Monitor and World Forger) decided to betray her, locked her away and they reset the universe to its current state.

I will try to read it all.

@Frayz and @Emperor Cross

Either of you interested in purchasing a serious out of print omni, as in "The Big Damn Sin City" by Frank Millar?

You could purchase it at retail price not the price you see on ebay of roughly £200-300 but £65?

Note this is roughly 1400 pages

Ughh, Frank Millar. I don't mind his writing tbh but not enough to put up with his art :dogkek:

This is probably an extremely unpopular opinion but I actually enjoyed All-Star Batman and Robin way more than his Dark Knight Returns work, I think Flash with shorts is still the most horrendous thing I've ever had to witness in a comic.

The art still looks the same to me though, just with more detail.

Protagonist that looks like they've overdosed on steroids etc lol
trust me i would prefer this over any title running right now

why?, its batman but more darker and no fucks given. You will see everything that is anything.

I truly don't doubt that it's a good story, I just don't think I can get past the art on it. I guess I'll give it a try but the story will have to be super amazing for me to keep reading it lol

Yeah, pretty crazy lol. Pre-flashpoint is back, though I'm guessing they're keeping certain certain things since it has Bendis' Legion, and who knows when it'll come into full effect lol
despite the inconsistency of dates the issues got released or delayed by, i actually enjoyed the run more than some (cough Absolute Carnage cough)

Also Jason Aaron's run on Thor is over too and can't wait for an Omnibi for it

I gotta admit that writing 85 issues of Batman is an accomplishment but when they're written by Tom King, reading those very same 85 issues is a much bigger accomplishment. Not even the last issue redeems his run :ROFLMAO:

For real for real, at least he’s Jean’s side piece :dogkek:
You reading any of the other X-books? X-Men is a decent read but the current anthology like style makes it seem like it's not that important but that will probably change since Hickman is writing it himself. I wasn't a big fan of any of the others though after checking out the first issues lol
