thanks for calling me funny it made me happy. i never explained why i townread michelle, its cuz i felt as though she's very dis-attached from the thread (despite being sleepy, thats separate) and, like, being in her own world doing her own thing. i feel as if she was scum she would try to enter other's people's worlds or stuff

beky cuz yea he had that one moment where i said i think its too ridiculous to come from scum. later on i like him aswell, solid town read

i never explained the rej townread too, it was due to him mentioning from the start about something something michelle being angry and unreasonable, and michelle also sayin "rej doesnt kno how to read me" so obviously there must have been some beef between them in a past game where they were both town, and i think opening up with the emotional angle like that from the start is towny (for rej)

why would he push someone just because their gut made them feel some type of way? That’s pretty iffy to me. It’s counter productive as well. It was a gut feeling based off your text so pushing them would result in what? Them listing false reasons possibly or just outright stating it’s a gut feeling again.

I mean it’s not something insane to think about. I don’t see why a wolf would crumble there and try that hard to stand out unless town was doing incredible and Stray’s wolf buds weren’t there so she wanted to derail somehow. Discrediting the person building the flawless town core might create that reaction.

Basically, I don’t see a wolf spazing out there unless it’s for that exact reason. There was nothing else to be psyched out about, she wasn’t being pushed.

It was just something off the cuff I guess.

So how do you actually feel about those players that are giving their reads like candy? You leaning any particular way? It sounds like you don't like them doing that but don't find it inherently bad. It's not really clear.

This doesn't really give anything to the discussion. Though, I'm fine with it I mean there is really nothing for me to suspect just because users spreading reads like candy but in all honesty, I just found it kind of funny.

I have more or less looked through the game thread, haven't read it with any concentration tbh. so I'm gonna re-read the thread and if not the whole thread at least i got some parts i wanna look into. There are stances of 'meta' readings, and I'm trying not to rely on meta for this game.

okay first thing first, @Rej you are weird I'll ISO you but as of now I didn't get much from your reads.
@Onadaga you mentioned your experience, you explained when i asked you bout your reads and you seem to be contributing in a way and got things rolling too, (additionally you are funny and I like funny ) so I got you in my green list.

the Stray-Gambit arc ain't all that bad tbh, there's T/W not in order or T/T . Gambit was a bit defensive if I'm not wrong, (btw i like how it says 'Towniest of town') Stray on the otherhand was really calm about it and handled it. I'm gonna go check the stray-gambit interactions later for making a read on them, i think at least one of them is sure town.

@Michelle is to be very frank, neutral to me, idc if she doesn't like to rand wolf or whether she acting comfy at the start of the day, @Beky who isn't comfortable at the start of the day?

@joby 's post wasn't that bad at all. but no reads on her also @tedxtr there are many posts from you but i can't make anything out yet.

second thing, I have never played any game where the reads came this early., nor can I make any reads this early, actually I'm basically useless in DP1, never had much to contribute. I actually don't know what these kind of games actually go in the end, but something in me says, the scums might wanna take a lead and change the directions in a game from the beginning, but the case here isn't exactly like that either and i don't have any proofs to support my thinking atm.

btw i said i wouldn't want to use meta but still i'm doing this to make my point, @Beky I'm uncomfortable with randing scum too I was scum in like 3-4 games, and I dropped or subbed out in all of them except one early in the game and the only one i played, i played reallly passively, I am def not a passive player in general. but even then at the start of the day I'll be as comfy as anyone else. so I don't like your first read on mich , but you seemed okay later on.

How do you make reads early on in the first 2 pages? Normally it takes me a while for me to get a read on a player on day 1.

I found out at one moment that my first reads are more accurate and expressing them helps me find the town core.
If you have a town core to work with, the game can be solved and the overall quality of play for every townie is higher because it avoids useless banters who can make town loose focus.

This floweriness of language gives me a dizziness and idk what to do with it.
Joby and Gambit may have fun together but idk if this looks like they are making something to advance the game, and Gambit saying the bolded is like he knows Joby is not villager and needs to show himself as one, maybe someone can confirm if my understanding is good or not.

Nope, gambit just really really likes the way it feels to type out the word “town”
Also I think he is more referring to the fact that I’m read as scum and pressured early on pretty much 100% of the games I play here now.
Sometimes I don’t do the best job of explaining my thoughts and feelings but I’m trying to do better

It depends very much of the playerlist.

Usually I can form and mantain that town core but sometimes one town get paranoid at my town read , consider it shallow and there starts a tunnel who makes things complicated
Of course scum are not comfy with these reads and try to prevent town to recognise each other. Their answers and reactions cannot be really spotted in day one but after few flips and especially after a red flip I always reread the RVS stage and find clues from these.
Your reserve is correct from yout pov but I am used to say every town read that passes through my mind for whatever reason, because that helps me check my ideas and also helps further in the game like I mentioned above.
