From my experience wolfs usually have a different feel to them even when comfy. Wolfs confidence comes from their place in the game, Towns confidence comes from leisure.

Wolfs feel confident if their place in the game is confident. Better the place the balsier plays they will do. At the start of the game their place is null so most wolfs wanna leave a good impression.

Michelle on other hand opened the game very casually. From my point of view it doesnt seem as a wolf trying to give a good impression and put himself in a good place. It more the play of a town that has plenty of leisure.

I skimmed the thread this morning and only responded to things that caught my eye. Ill re read those pages during work break.

But from what i can remember there is stuff i saw that needs more reivew. Samael and Ted, Stray and Gambit, Nesos and Drago opening

Hey y'all lol had to catch up on 9 pages.

So, lots of early reads and exchanges of subtle info/personality cues--so regardless of alignment this is a really good start, because there is a lot of information being generated very early.

I'm getting strong towny vibes from @Onadaga (Hi!) and warmish(getting hotter) town vibes from @Beky since they both preemptively created an environment for people to feel comfortable to speculate and name names.
And scum can stick out because their speculation always has an agenda behind it, and this early on I don't think any townie has an agenda other than gathering info.
So Beky putting pressure on stray feels very townie to me--just the way he pressured her feels different from scum trying to make someone look bad.


This post set off a red flag for me. Its very TMI, and while Ona's GTH reads were basically happening naturally during conversation--stray's all seem to have an angle they are going for--something I'm being led towards but never taken quite all the way.
Bolded read on me obviously makes me feel bad--and I truly truly believe that Stray would sleep better at night if I got offed no matter my alignment. So I can't say either way how her read on me paints her this game, because stray's literally always trying to get me killed LOL
But the bolded in red of Onadaga is very very suspicious to me. Every part of it is accusatory when taken in isolation:
He's "Quick to judge"(as opposed to "fast reads" or how beky gets "trusts his meta reads" instead of "quick to judge")
"could be their experience"(negging)
..."but also TMI"(accusatory and basically saying "you should consider this person as a day one/two lynch")

Its hard tho because stray always comes out fists up and ready to rustle--no matter her alignment. I still think this is worth keeping an eye on.

I will say that my gut intuition says stray going after my "too pure" entrance is opportunistic and shallow as fuck. bad kitty!

I've made this mistake with stray before. She's a very stubborn player (like me) and she is tenacious as fuck (the way she handled all the pressure y'all threw at her was nuts) It's a war of attrition with deep wolf Stray, she got that luffy stamina

I'm really not trying to come off as tunneling on stray, but what you just stated is what stray does best--especially as scum

Because what you're doing here is not finding out if I could be scum, no, you are trying to convince people that I am scum. You are not analyzing my post here, no, you are filtering details that make me look like scum and tell people that I'm scum. Yes, this is a clear push attempt. Always raise some flags for me. Asking this when you're Town is just wrong. And it's legit how I caught scum last game on NF. Because "would a scum do that" is a question you don't need to ask when you're Town. And to answer your question, scum does this sometimes, even. They straight up say that they're scum and sometimes even get away with that because others think that's just trolling.

Joby clearly tries painting me as scum and Gambit does WIFOM. Not to mention they are openly buddying.

Why does it matter how easy you are? Actually, let me make the question bigger. Why does it matter how easy a player is in general. Should their easiness stop someone from questioning or scum reading them?

Being easy is no excuse and it's only truly bad to go after easy or lhf players when the read you made on them looked forced and more of an attempt to just try to look contributive. Samael does not give off those vibes to me.

Yea her composure was on point.

However i cant neglelct inconsistency like that. I am on mobile so i wont go iso posts now but there were situations she says one thing and does other.

Her being well composed when giving her arguments when questioned is one thing.But at the same time not being composed in being true to stuff she says sometimes irks me a bit.

She didnt downplay joby's and Gambit's opportunity to respond, she downplayed your weak play with that posts which is true.
