In my opinion all Supernova play in the same league Monster Trio. With Apoo and Hawkins not being Flying Six members cause they are still freshman.

Also the Apoo hype already exist since Sabaody with Apoo being the only able to suprised and hurt Borsalino.

One saying Apoo didn't make any progress in 2 years while Luffy having "surpassed" Borsalino is for me something I can't understand.

So you think Apoo and Hawkins are in the same league as Page One? Because the reason Apoo attacked is due to Queen stating he wanted to replace one of the Flying Six.

No I think Hawkins and Apoo play in the same league as other Supernova cause they are Supernova. And the only reason that they are ordinary Headliner is that they are fresh members of Beast Pirates.

But how do Apoo and Hawkins compare in strength to Flying Six? Headliners like Holdem are irrelevant here since we're talking about the powerhouses in Kaido's crew and Queen wants to kick out one of the Flying Six.

On another note, I'm curious to see Luffy, Zoro and Kid also beating up and fodderizing the Numbers as part of their warmup before fighting the Calamities.

It don't have to be stronger, but can be more effective. As I already mentioned soundwaves penetrates bodies. So the explosions could even come from the inside of Luffys body and then you can compare it to Luccis Rokugan.

I think its more due to the fact that Luffy just didn't expect an attack coming and let his guard down. Luffy had no idea about Apoo's df after all. As strong as Luffy and zoro is, they are in the end still just humans and because of that are vulnerable to attacks that harm normal human beings (except for luffy's immunity to blunt attacks due to rubber). They need to actively try to block/withstand attacks or dodge them during fights unlike monsters like kaido who has armor thick skin and can absorb inhumane blows passively. We saw this when Dadan was able to bloody up Garp after Marineford and how 2 fodder guards was able to stab and kill Roger. If luffy prepared himself to absorb the attack and/or harden up with armament he wouldn't have gotten KO'd. This is different from rokuogan which is basically unblockable.

Yonkou play in one League, then we have Sweet Commander and Calamities playing in the same league and then I would put Flying Six, Numbers, Ministers and Combatants in one League.

And I would put Supernova in general in the same league as Calamities and Sweet Commanders just spreaded slightly wider.

I sure was shocked with Apoo's attacks and accuracy against luffy and zoro. It did feel weird seeing luffy take so much damage from that so quickly. Idk I'll wait and see what happens next but that was odd. Loved seeing Kid fucking stomp Apoo at the end though. Also I guess OP is Bi-weekly now on....fucking breaks seem to be a constant.

I still think the stunning/tempory knockdown is something specific to Apoo's sound DF. Because loud sounds can stun people

Sure it is possible that it is only because Luffy didn't expect an attack coming, but in my opinion He should have sended it even with normal CoO.
Same goes for Borsalino in Sabaody. Also there it seems like Borsalino noticed an attack will come (the "what?")

Same goes for Luffy, he glared at Apoo.

Also in both cases it looks like the body explodes from the inside.

Thats why I think the problem wasn't that Luffy couldn't forsee but neither being to dodge nor to block.

Seeing as I always like to consider the more off beat tracks, part of me wonders if the Tobi Roppo Queen's looking to eliminate is one few would suspect -- Ulti.

- I'm getting a Fishman/Mermaid vibe off of her; got the feeling a number of the Beast Pirates possess some varied ancestry ala Jack, King, and whatever the fuck Kaido really is. Also predicting a lot of ties to the Fishmen and Wano to be revealed as well.

- Her look and demeanor remind me of Dellinger.

- Willing to bet her face mask is covering up some kinda inhuman looking mouth or set of teeth like Jack or her brother due to her bloodline.

- Her hair and everything else also bring to mind this notably weird Yokai that I feel Oda won't pass up the chance to reference -- the Amabie; a rather fishy looking mermaid-like creature with long hair, three legs, endowed with prophetic abilities, and the image of whom can be used as a charm to ward off plague.

And wouldn't you know it, I just recently learned that the Amabie has somehow become a popular mascot in the fight to combat Covid19, I'd like to think Oda drew with a face mask as a sorta wink to all this haha.

Ulti the Amabie and Queen the Plague: natural enemies? Did Queen once proposition Ulti only to be threatened with castration? Did Queen reject a love letter of hers upon finding out what lies under the mask?!

Anyways, Ulti representing an Amabie also jibes with one of my top theories about her zoan fruit. Most depictions of the Amabie in art and the anime/manga medium tend to depict it as some beaked Kappa looking creature that brings to mind a Golduck looking fish/bird mish-mash. I've long been expecting Oda to throw at us a Terror Bird Beast Pirate, so Ulti presents the perfect candidate. What's more, I've got a very specific Terror Bird species in mind -- Ancient Duck/Goose Model: Dromornis Planei aka the THUNDERDUCK aka the DEMON DUCK OF DOOM...no, I didn't make those up. And yes, they actually are thought to belong to the same group as waterfowl such as ducks and geese.

Who knows, watch her have a beak like Kawamatsu and instantly fall in love with him ( or he with her ) or something. You could write an entire Noh play around this shit.
