Wow Im very impressed with the level of effort thats been put into this set up, I was expecting to have just signed up to a random RM game.

I still havent wrapped my head round the whole set up, but the gist if we win a r/p/s we can inflict a wound onto another player with the level of damage being dependent on our skill level in comparison to theirs and then we level up/gain an ignore for the win right?

Im guessing with the sith being the sith, all lightsaber duels are gonna be pretty heavily tilted in their favour. Because of that, if someone manages to inflict a severe wound on someone especially if their character has a modicum of skill with a light saber it would be wise to use that as a point of suspicion against them. Its not set in stone and there are obviously powerful LS users on the town side, but it will be a point worth considering as we move further into the game.

Im not the most knowledgable on star wars, but I probably know enough to get by. On average, what percentage do you guys think a member of the senate would be on the mafia side? Do you think 1,2? I know of Palpatine but Im struggling to think of anyone else who could be in the Senate

It's possible some of them are just fodder side characters on the senate, so don't necessarily think that only known characters will be mafia senate. I've played a star wars mafia game with a similar senate setup before, (although there were a lot more people as well) and almost half the senate were actually mafia. I would hope that's not the case here, but probably 2 or 3 imo.

It's possible some of them are just fodder side characters on the senate, so don't necessarily think that only known characters will be mafia senate. I've played a star wars mafia game with a similar senate setup before, (although there were a lot more people as well) and almost half the senate were actually mafia. I would hope that's not the case here, but probably 2 or 3 imo.

It depends on how flavour motivated the game is, I figured the senate would be compromised as it was in the original story but again im not the biggest star wars fan so im unsure of how murky/unclear that line of thought is as far as it would be to pin down characters to who would be apart of it.

But I think that the lightsaber mechanics will favour the scum faction (I'd be extremely surprised if they never), and that will potentially be something to keep in mind when we look at how worse off people are after a LS battle in the np. This is all still me spitballing some initial thoughts on the mechanics though
