Not spotting the man and his boat straight away, Jade was still looking around the beach; making sure she didnt miss him but was saving her Observation Haki since she knew she will have to fight him.

As a result she didnt know his attack was coming till he hears him shout "LEAVE ME ALONE". Hearing his shout the dwarf looks in the direction, she barely has time to see him and the lightning before it hits her.

Not taking the hit well due to its power and her small body, Jade is sent flying back across the sand of the beach. Only coming to a stop a few meters away from where she was first standing, now on her back in the sand; her sword still in her one hand. Getting up, the marine can feel the attack did a fair amount of damage to her since was in pain slightly.

Ignoring the pain, she takes off towards the man zigzagging slightly as she runs; wanting to use her sword skills since he seemed to be better at longer range. As she runs she slashes the air four times in a clover pattern; two horizontal and the other two vertical, each of them heading towards the man "Flowering Sword: Four Leafed Clover". The dwarf was using it as a distraction however, aiming to get closer to the cyborg.

Seeing his lightning strike the little marine this time, Shalki was ecstatic. He jumped mid air as he floated from his joy and quickly spun around. Grabbing the anchor from his boat he began to lift it up out of the water.

Propping his feet up onto the side of the deck after bringing it up as much as he could before, "HEEEEEEEEEE!" Shalki exerted as much energy as he possibly could to lift the chain. (He was quite poor at lifting since he devoted much of his life to books and research and guns and watching weather). Thrusting with the sea-breeze that he was channeling, he began to finally move the anchor up as he leaned so far over the boat deck that he almost fell.

come on come on! She's strong! I doubt that will delay her too long.
Suddenly, four slashes hit the anchor in front of the bionic beast and managed to split the chain! The boat began to drift in the waves now and Shalki fell onto his back, smacking onto the deck of the Metal Voyager. "WA-OOF!" he let out as he fell

Using his mantra he knew she took the opportunity to move in closer.
Damnit! Here she comes!

Jade watches as the cyborg starts to lift up the anchor He must have moved when he saw me get hit by his attack.. The four slashes hit the anchor and manage to sever the chain, rocking the boat quite a bit causing the man to fall over.

Using her momentum and taking the opportunity that was him falling over, she runs till she is close to his boat and jumps; easily reaching the height of it and going even higher. As gravity starts to bring her back down she brings her sword up, holding it an angle by her head pointing towards him "Flowering Sword..." Thrusting her sword four times at different points on his legs and arms as he lies on the floor, she lands next to him after doing her technique with a thud "..Blooming Plants!"

Usually the technique would disarm and/or make arms and legs numb slightly since it strikes pressure points, but Shalki would most likely be affected differently since he is a cyborg.

Shalki was on his back as he saw the little marine girl soar over him and perform the multi-slash. The way she attacks... I's honestly quite beautiful...

Tink! tink! squish! tink! The sound of the pokes at Shalki's alloy body. "k-AAA!" One of the hits had found Shalki's left arm which was still flesh. Four roses of energy bloomed upward out from the strikes and soon faded into the atmosphere. The one rose that had been effective sustained a bit longer from the blood energy it drew. The boat continued to bob, the weight of the new passenger didn't effect it much.

Spinning his lower body like a propeller Shalki flung his legs to pivot away from the girl and whip himself upward. His tattered cloak broke more so now and almost completely came off. His sunlight golden plating shone brilliantly against the sunny autumn sky. Shalki sent a signal through his body as well FFFFFFFFwwwwwwoooo

The anchor is up not at least. I need to flip the boat around so that it can head the right way. But the sail is still tied... Perhaps I can knock her back at the same time I untie it.

This is getting to be do or die, cpu. I just need to aim well...
Shalki landed down the deck in a position in between the sail and the girl. "One day you will see what the marines really are." Then pushing both hands forward, his red plating over his mufflers rose and release a serious amount of spiraling wind energy aimed at the knotted rope and the girl. "Cyclone"

Jade watches as the man gets up, his cloak so tattered it nearly comes off as he pivots using something she cant see very well.

She keep watches as he ends up between the sail and her He is about to do something I think, I better prepare myself. As she goes to prepare for whatever he is about to do he sends a powerful spiral of wind towards the sail and her. Being so light and small meant she was easily sent flying by the wind.

Caught by it at an angle due to her height, the wind picks her up in the air sending her around 20 meters above the end of the ship. "Well this is a predicament..." Looking down at the ship, the Marine wouldnt be able to do much until the wind died down and she came back down; her techniques not being too good to help get her down

The cyclone didn't just untie the rope, but it ripped a chunk of the wooden mast and sail off clean! The little marines girl was sent whipping into the air.

Shalki hand clutched at his fleshy arm as he panted. "YOU'LL SEE ONE DAY, GIRL!!! THE MARINES ARE EVIL JUST LIKE YOUR ACTIONS TODAY!!!" The viscous vital fluid ran over his metal ring finger. At the same time he felt so much... yet so little.

YES! he exclaimed proudly to himself Now to get to the rotor and turn this ship around!
{You got lucky this time, 02.5. These irrational decisions could be the death of us one day if you are not more careful.}

Running up the deck of the ship, narrowly tripping on a mark left by the blossoming sword, Shalki managed to get to the wheel.

She hears this just before the wind had let her down and the man turned the boat around, she fell just off the side. Jade manages to catch the side of the boat ending up dangling over the edge. She feels the boat turn around and start heading away from the island, pulling herself up onto the boat after a bit of effort.

Breathing a bit heavy from all the stuff that just happened, she only now just starts to think about what he said. What does he mean they are evil? Yeah there is some not very nice people in them but they aren't evil..

The marine was quite hard to spot on the edge of the ship, but she was at the front of the boat in his view. Using the time to recover, she waits for a good opportunity to confront him again.

The silver voyager begins to turn clockwise as Shalki spins the helm. It cut into the waves which were beginning to grow due to the distance the boat was reaching off shore. As is spun the waves polarity began to align with the ship due to the wind and help pivot the voyager even more.

Shalki had thought the battle was over and was unaware that the marine girl had managed to land back on his vessel. He was focused now studying the air current and the flow of the water. He was trying to leave as fast as possible. His antenna twitched with the energy of the wind.
So it feels like I'm getting close to the optimal direction. Its a bit hard for me to tell based on the sound of the sail FWWWWOOOOAP! with a hole in it. Once I finish aligning I should go check on it and see what I can do to patch it up with what I have.

He looks down at his tattered cloak. His metal alloy body shines through reflecting light in various spots.
Well, I won't be able to use this much longer either. Can't even use it to patch the sail... I can maybe use some sheets I have down below.

The boat rocked every time it went over a wave, Jade nearly falls off several times as she is still on the side and they were getting bigger.

She manages to jump down to the actual deck eventually, still being rocked quite a bit due to her size. She makes her way towards the mast so can watch Shalki easier while also staying unnoticed. Looking at him she could see he seemed to be checking the ship and himself over.

This gave her an opportunity to get further across the ship, the marine heading towards the lower part to check things out. Maybe he has some illegal stuff on here... She makes her way towards what seems to be a large door.

The ship finally is positioned well with the air current. It begins to accelerate and smash through the waves.

Shalki looks up at the damaged sail as he heads towards the hatch leading to his storage below the deck. He is pleasently surprised for a moment.
Looks like my powers really are increasing! ... if only I could use them correctly.

He squats down and grabs onto the handle, struggling he puts the weight into his back. The hatch lifts partially, but slams shut as Shalki lets go of it from excess pressure on himself.
"Fuckin door grr should've made it lighter" he mumbles rubbing his spine with his left hand.

The transformed sailor throws the door open. The iron handle smashes into the deck as the hatch flips.
"JUUUUST perfect!" he ironically growls

Descending below deck by ladder, Shalki's feet CLUNK on the rails and he hops off with a bit of a thud as he finishes.

Jade had been wandering down in the ship, she had managed to get through the hatch before he had come down to the deck. Although now she was trapped in the storage area with a cyborg in a mood.

Guess its now or never Jumping up onto one of the crates she swings her sword in an arc from above her head causing a large air slash to start heading towards him "Giant Slash".

The slash destroys several crates and barrels as it goes, sending the contents flying in lots of directions. The slash was fairly large but was also quite slow compared to most.

Using the cover of the slash and the fact he doesnt know she is there till he has spotted the slash, the Dwarf jumps off the crate and runs to another part of the room; trying to use the area and her size to her advantage since she would be hard to spot in an area without alot of stuff to hide behind let alone a place like this with lots of things she could use.

Just as Shalki grabs the new cloth to replace the sail a massive air slash smashes apart the crate behind him. For some reason it was slower than teh slashes the girl had sent before and so even though it took the cyborg by surprise he had some amount of time to react.

Turning he announced "WHAT THE???" as he noticed the shards of broken crate-wood flying all over. Just before the massive slash strikes him, Shalki was able to raise his arms to help defend.
She's still here somehow!!!?

The beam slammed into him like a truck ripping into his one human arm and knocking him backward toward the side of the ship's lower cabin. "CHAAAAAAA!" Shalki let out in pain as his arm burned and back was shot with sensory signals.

The attack was so large that the room was now in tatters.

SMG malfunctioning...
M16 malfunctioning...
Shield malfunctioning...
Noticeable damage to spinal collumn, you may have trouble moving for a bit, 02.5}
"YOU BITCH!" Shalki extremely annoyed let out his colors. He smashed the wall with his metal left hand as he tried to get up, but fell before he made it far.

{Careful, 02.5 the side of the ship has also taken stark damag-}
ENOUGH OF THAT, CPU! TRACK HER! F I N D HER!!!!!!

The computer scanned the area, but the dust and scattered pieces of room made it hard.
Shalki activated his mantra.

"YOU'LL PAY! ... CHRAAAAAAA!"

Shalki's shoulder plate unlatched and raised 6 inches letting to ceep out a small burst of steam. Henceforth and suddenly launched a missile, aimed randomly into the room, in attempt to cause some potentially splash damage on the girl and reveal her location.

Her attack catches him completely off guard, since he had no idea she was even on the boat let alone in the storage room with him.

Destroying many of the crates and things in the room; it was a perfect distraction, he was hit by it but was able to defend himself from it slightly. Jade was able to get to a different part of the room without any issues, hiding behind a crate with her small stature.

Hearing him curse and shout at her makes Jade stay hidden for now, not wanting to give her position away with another attack just yet. She hears him do something and there was a sudden explosion quite close to the right of her, causing debris to go flying across the room in several directions.
Does he know where I am? Did he miss or was that just a random attack hoping to hit? Not sure on whether she should stay where she was, she decides to move to the left slightly; heading towards a large barrel that was intact.

The middle blasted a dent into the metal floor of the ship and exploded the crate it hit sending shrapnel about the lower deck.

Shalki wasn’t exactly “satisfied” with the answer to say the least...

Stomping his right foot as he shouted “You can’t hide from me!!!” His metallic parts whirred again and shot out another two missiles one to the left of the initial blast and the other to the right.

“I DON’T TAKE STOWAWAYS!” Smashing his arms down at his sides as he yelled.

Heading towards the barrel, the Dwarf wasn't looking at the cyborg so didn't know if he knew where she was still. Trying to move away from the spot she was just at, she could hear him moving around the room but crates and other things were a bit in the way.

Not hearing him fire off two more missiles, the first one exploding to the right of where she was makes her jump; and then the other one explodes behind her a second later. Caught in the blast, she involuntary shouts in surprise as it sends her flying into the barrel she was heading to; destroying it.

Landing on the wooden floor of the storage room, Jade tries getting up quickly If he didn't know where I was before, he does now Pushing off the floor, she looks around; trying to see what he was doing before deciding what she herself should do next.

BOOOOOOM! BA-TOOM! The Metal Voyager coughs out smoke from the lower deck's door. The waves hadn't been rocking the ship as much now, the rather the ship was starting to rock the waves! Fish below the sea-surface swam scattering aside and sinking themselves to escape the sounds. A coupple bubbles fluttered up from below.

Back inside the combat zone Jade had let out a short shriek

I heard!
Shalki cut off his processor from directing the coordinates and stomped over through the rocket smoke towards where the sound came from.

If I can just focus my mantra on the area specifically where that noise came from A-HA!
Shalki's cold creeping arm dove to the ground weaving through pieces of the broken barrel ready to vice-grip the girl.
"FOUND YOU!" his hallowed voice simultaneously spoke at several "combed" frequencies.

{End her, 02.5 now is your chance}

Shalki's thought were quiet. His body whirred as the inner-mechanics crafted a slew of chilling particles that would soon infuse to a barrage of hail. He wanted to here the girl shriek again. He wanted her to feel the fear that he held in his heart if the government were to come after him again.

His metal jaw unhinged with a smile, if you could even call it that, spikes now shown.

How did I end up in the lower decks of a ship in the middle of the ocean chasing this guy? Jade starts having these kind of thoughts as Shalki tries to find her with his mantra.

I still dont know if he is a criminal really or not, based on his actions he is but not confirmed. The metal man reaches her position and starts moving his hand through the barrel pieces around the area.

The dwarf walks to an unharmed barrel and jumps on top of it, looking at him and making it easy for him to see where she was. The air around them starting to form into something, she ignores it; concentrating on Shalki. "So this might not be the best of time, but I just had the thought that I don't know who you even are"

She was really expecting an answer, they had been fighting for a while and she had chased him from the river throught the forest and onto his ship. If I dont get an answer that makes me think he is evil, I will try to get off at the next island we pass Anyone who could read her thoughts would think she is somehow both smart and very dumb at the same time.

Ice crystals began to hover from behind Shalki within the grey cloud behind him. Jade swiftly escapes Shalki's snaking grasp and the cyborg get's but a handful of smog as it continues to clear out into the upper deck.

He freezes at the sound of the undecided marine girl's words.

Shalki stands for a moment, not quite sure what to do. The hail gradually starts to fall downward as he waits in thought...

He ignores the processor.

"What is wrong with you??? You chase me off the island and stow away on my ship and now that you are cornered you say 'let's stop fighting, I don't even know who you are'!!!!? WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ME TO SAY TO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!?" Getting pissed off again Shalki yells at the smol dwarfette. He whips his right arm diagonally up over his shoulder. "You know I'm bleeding because of you!"

Jade waits for a response, the cyborg pausing once he had heard her talk. The hail stops and then starts to fall slightly around them, his attack stopping due to him being deep in thought.

Keeping an eye on him, the dwarf wonders what he is thinking; it was kind of sudden to say this after all that had happened between them.

"You were acting odd, and I had no idea what you even were so I gave chase; attacking was to slow you down and then I decided to just capture you. But now we are in the middle of the ocean so even if I did manage to beat you, I have no way to get back to the island as I dont know how to navigate." She tries explaining why she stops fighting "Also I have cuts, bruises and other injuries from you too

Just running after my ambitions." softly speaking Shalki reflects upon his past"it nearly got me killed! his voice shakes from the pain, "it turned me into... into this , this... THING! This monster..." the bionic beast looks away. "Don't do this to yourself too girl... don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong."
