Her words just seem to make him angrier, she wasnt sure why since she was just speaking with her own logic; which to her made complete sense.

He seems to turn away a bit as he starts to think before looking back at her

"Well I don't want to kill you, girl. ... BUT I DAMN WELL SHOULD!" he scolds her "...listen." am I? ... do I really feel sorry for her? "I- ... I was.. kind of like you once. Just running after my ambitions." softly speaking Shalki reflects upon his past "it nearly got me killed! his voice shakes from the pain, "it turned me into... into this , this... THING! This monster..." the bionic beast looks away. "Don't do this to yourself too girl... don't stick your nose where it doesn't belong."

She listens as he starts to scold her, and then quickly changes to talking about himself. He doesnt seem to be a bad person, in fact he seems to have been turned into a monster by someone who is evil Jade thinks to herself as he finishes speaking. "My ambitions are to help people; if I have to become a monster, be in danger of being killed or stick my nose into things I shouldn't to do that I will."

The Dwarf starts to relax, fairly confident now that he will not attack her again. She puts her large sword into the scabbard on her back, showing him that she was no longer a threat.

"..You're stubborn." He finally says. Well I guess she's not the only one "cheh" chuckling "just like me." he finally smiles.

Seeing Jade sheath her blade Shalki turns away and rubs his head. The last of the smoke clear from the lower deck revealing a broken terrain of the few belonging the cyborg had... now utterly destroyed by his own missiles in a short tantrum.

"So you are going to be friendly and talk after all..." geez I never open up like this, what do I even say? "..." come on Shalki, just... just BE real for once. he shakes himself loose "I've got a lot to tell you. If you are gonna sail with me off this island, well... I guess we've got the time."

Then Shalki begins to drift into the stories of his past hoping to spark something in the wild girl before him.
"A long time ago... A long time ago I too was beging used as a pawn by the World Government. They broke my body and turned me into this... thing." He turns back to her now and tightly grasps the air as the says the word. The pain in his metallic eyes are emphasized by a flash of red before they dull back grey "I was corrupted by a computerized processor that they used to try to get me to commit all of these horrible things..." *hu hooo hu hoo* he starts breathing heavily as he remembers "b-b-b-but! I escaped. I escaped and I grew and learned and explored these seas. And eventually I was able to re-write my programming so that I wouldn't do these bad things. And so that theywouldn't be able to find me; I changed my face. But alas they still hunt me. It's why I have to be so careful around people like you." ...Like her. Right... I can't say any more. I've already said enough.

Shalki irredeemably bends over and massages his brow with his left hand. "C-come on... let's just go to the upper deck and get some air." he wisps his arm and begins to climb back to the upper deck of the Metal Voyager.

Jade smiles slightly "I guess I am...but only when it is stuff I am concentrated on." He turns away after seeing she wasn't going to attack, the battle coming to an abrupt stop.

She becomes curious when the cyborg says he has lots of things to tell her, not too sure where he was going to go with this conversation. The Dwarf becomes surprised though when he starts speaking of his past, which seemed to involve the World Government, as it was the last thing she expected to talk about; at least so soon.

Listening quite closely, the small girl becomes more and more shocked as he goes on; first at how they changed him, then at him having to do bad things for them and finally at how he had to escape and how they still chase him.

Taking time to mull over what he has said, she doesn't answer yet and just follows him up to the deck and out of the destroyed storage room.
"The government created you? I have no reports or anything like that that says they have done this, and I have access to quite a lot of stuff that they and the Marines have."

His mechanical body creaked as his arms moved from rung to rung. His feet made a reverberate CLANG CLANG as the sound bounced around the lower deck.

Now back within the sunlight Jade questions the mad machine. Shalki stares up at the sky above and his eyes shift from a greyish black through the color spectrum until they match the blue of the atmosphere.

“We are the cloak that hides your daggers." He begins softly as he pull his tattered cloak across to the left, "We are the eyes that watch through the night." turning to Jade his eye lenses focus in on the girl to creep her out. "We bring the justice that others would not." sarcastically. "We keep the secrets that others would babble." Opening and closing his hand like a talkative mouth. Then he closes his eyes for a moment and crosses his arms, "There are those that make happy the people and there are those that do what must be done." Slowly opening them yet again upon the small marine girl and pausing for suspense ... CP9. They are real.”

The words chill the air like a ghostly fable that should never be named. The wind picks up and whips Shalki's swiss-cheese of a cloak against the air over and over. He bends his back over to cast a shadow atop the girl, "Little marine, this world is run by the powerful and the powerful have many secrets that they keep. I was meant to be one of their secret weapons. Built to kill the enemies of the Celestial Dragons. You are but a pawn to them. Pawns need not know..."

Most of his allusions go over the Dwarves head, but she gets the gist of them So there are secrets that not even Marines know... Jades eyes was beginning to be opened by the metal man.

"The secret Cipher Pole exists? What do they do? Jade probably wasnt as shocked as Shalki was expecting, mainly because she didnt see the big deal about them existing. "I dont even know what half the other groups even do, why do you need 8, well 10 i guess, groups called the same thing and seem to do the same thing."

She looks up at him as he bends over her slightly "Well they shouldn't, the powerful should protect the weak and people who are weak shouldn't be afraid of the people with power" While naive, the small girl sticks to her ideals; even when the other people in the World Government dont

Shalki reeled back from hunching over the girl "wha-" wha- but- I - already told he squnits his eye-lenses and tilts his jaw sideways I said what they do... whatever maybe she is just too naive to understand...

"They kill people" The cyborg stated as bluntly and with as flat a tone as possible. "and... well..." scratching his head which made a CREEK CREEK sound "gah! All that other stuff isn't really important!" he he throw up his arms in defeat before bending back down and facing to marine it's waaay to much of a pain to go into all the little detail with her.

Shalki was actually quite dumbfounded by the girls stubbornness and goodly nature. She... she's just too damn pure! His spiky, monstrous jaw drops in disbelief! "cha cha cha" now the cyborg smiles as the daylight glows upon his silvery back when he stands up straight. "Girl, what is your name again? Did you ever mention it? You are so pure it is actually beautiful." he waits for a moment for her to answer...

"You don't deserve to be used by these scum. Why don't I take you back home. Where are you from?"
The wind flickers the torn sail in the background.

He seemed to be in shock slightly, although she wasnt sure why. She waits for him to regain his composure, a sea breeze hitting the ship and ruffling her clothes slightly.

Bluntly saying they kill people, Jade already realised this; every group kills in some way. Even the marines had to kill pirates in order to stop them, although she herself nearly never did that.

"My name is Jade Belle" The dwarf curtsies slightly, it becomming near second nature to do so while introducing herself and saying her name. "Im from Green Bit, far away from here" Jade didnt go back very often, her time being taken up too much by Marine duties.

"Well Marine Pawn, Jade Belle, I am written down in your Governments records as 'C.P.T. Computerized Power Transformer'. Look it up if you ever get the chance to sneak into the right data logs and see what I mean by the Government being despicable." He growls to himself for a moment. "I'm sorry to I've never heard of Green Bit. I've sailed several islands in the grand line. I'm nearing mastery if I do say so myself." He smugly poses with a arm (still slightly bleeding) on the hip and looks up to the western post mid-day sun.

Then opening a helpful palm to the little dwarf with a just as smug look "I'm sure I could get you there, but this ship needs some repairs thanks to our ..." Hmm well I don't want to reintroduce the fact that we were fighting "thank to our squabble." Yeah that's good keep it up before she changes her mind! "I'm not much for companionship lately but I'm willing to try til we get to the next island to get supplies. We'll see how it goes from there." Nailed it! He internally smiles Maybe I can learn to make friends with normal people after all. Not realizing neither of them are normal... "What do you say?"

"I will try to find something on you, any idea where any information associated with you might be?" Jade waits till he finishes speaking before answering what he has said.

The sea breeze picks up a bit more, ruffling the damaged sails "Green Bit is next to Dressrosa, and Im sure we can patch them up" She mentions somewhere he might know while looking up at the mast of the ship, the dwarf didnt know much about ship repairs but could at least try to help.

Jade smiles at the metal man "We can give it a go, once we reach it we should part ways though; if you are wanted it wouldnt be good for us to travel together" She also wasnt sure what to do with this information at the moment, she needed time to think on it and work out what to do next.

Shalki shook tink tink tinking the metal of his body as the sensation shot up, "Dressrosa?" the asks surprised "That is in the New World! Quite a ways a way." chmm* he sags his shoulders and looks off to the side for a moment, then returning to contact the marine girl he says in an unfortunate tone "I'm not sure if I could bring you all the way there. I'm not strong enough to last in those seas." and speeding up after a short pause he clarifies "But I certainly could drop you off at Sabaody Archipelago!" ah geez, Shalki there you go promising something and you didn't even get the full details until now... I hope she isn't upset.

Jade: "...if you are wanted it wouldn't be good for us to travel together"

Shalki nodded "You are certainly right. If you plan to seek further truth under the guise of a marine, then traveling around with me would be a bad play indeed." he turns to face the wind "It's settled then. Help me prepare the ship as much as we still can!" smiling and pointing forward to the horizon.

With that the Metal Voyager and the unlikely duo set off for Sabaody Archipelago. The afternoon woods of the Autumn Isle faded into the distance as the Voyagers crashed over the enlarging waves of the sonder sea. It's blushing multi-color leaves no longer could be seen reflecting off the shore, but even so the two had high hopes ahead of them. And high hopes for the future!
