Neither I LMAO.

I always say that Sanji may not be the second strongest in the crew and I knew it from the very start. I always follow the guy who is 3rd or 4th best in any manga/series/etc. At first I like Zoro, but when Sanji was introduced, I knew he's gonna be the man I would follow. In Shaman King, I follow Ryu (the one with Yamato no orochi oversoul) and he's the weakest. In DBS, I got Kririn and Freeza no matter what. I mean, Sanji fans should always understand that he'd never be in the same level of prowess as Zoro and Luffy but I believe that Oda has fashioned a lot of dynamics into his character to pacify the fans and to become different. There's still a lot of readers who don't stan on raw strength. Zoro's character is boring as fuck if you may ask me. But no disrespect to Zoro, he's really badass and that's his main arsenal. Sanji on the otherhand is the tactician of the crew, he excels in every single aspect while still being classified as a threat if he gone serious in battle. Even the enemies acknowledge this. May he be a worthless simp and get beaten up off the plot purposes, I don't mind.

With regards to how his character will progress in the arc, looks like we can debunk our own speculations that he'd be able to hurt a woman regardless. But Oda has described yet another glimpse on how he really trust his crewmate and that he's a man of his own words.

Whether he'd fight a calamity or not, that's not gonna be an issue either. He's got no reason to be on the rooftop and I fucking doubt that the 5 bitches up there could take down two yonkos. At least not for now. He may be able to defeat a calamity at this point but as I said, I don't think the battle will end this arc so it has zero purpose.

I think this was build up for robin and sanji being used as prop was imo really bad . But Oda should not be writing cheap plots in middle of the war especially enemy is about to kill your crew . I think its plain as day Oda messed up Sanji's point of view about hitting woman mind you early part of the series was suppsed to end in 5 years . So he didnt even have plan for wano back he was writing for water 7 . Kaido and BM intro came much later ahead when One piece got popular .

I think oda wants to bring message Sanji will not go back to hitting woman ever . Maybe remainder to us reader especially Sanji fans who wants him to grow stronger . I expect Black maria's torture will make him wary about how he can tackle this situation in future .

Overall i believe Sanji will shine here from now on . THis kind of cheap plots seems bad but One piece is not perfect manga ,Oda is not genius as many claim he is good writer in general not like Kishimoto or kubo who only use character for sake of plot convenience . I expect Sanji 's end game will be better .
