Ok I wonder if this is how things will play out:
Zoro fights Queen, and Marco fights King. Zoro and Marco are victorious. Luffy and Zoro reach the top at the same time. They realize that both Big Mom and Kaido are there. Zoro fights Kaido and Luffy fights Big Mom. Big Mom gets defeated by Luffy but Zoro can't deal enough damage on Kaido to be victorious. Then everyone (of the Samurai Alliance) starts attacking Kaido eventually defeating him.

King will survive as Luffy or the Strawhats never have killed someone who was the last of their race. Since Yamato keeps whatever Kaido's heritage alive in him I feel that Kaido dying would make sense.

Anyways that's all I've got for now. Can't wait for the scans/tracings to come in!

Agreed that people will die (good or bad) but we've got 3 of the best doctors in the world and 2 people who can manipulate souls (Big Mom and Brook) so I don't expect it to be a slaughterhouse of known characters.

I know it sounds silly but Oda is making it pretty clear that Big Mom wants to fight Luffy personally, and who can deny a Yonko what they want? He is also emphasizing how much Zoro wants to fight Kaido. Personally I would've preferred it if Big Mom not even show up so they could all focus on Kaido.

Also in an unrelated topic... Yamato pulls out a book which is presumably Oden's journal while mentioning that Luffy also bears the D in his name. Was that a hint that Oden is a D as well or that simply Ace was a D?
