I don't buy oreki as scum for now--I feel like gambit tried to make it seem like the pressure was on oreki more than it actually was for a lot more than what it was actually for--which is another check in the plus column for scumbit is scum.

My vote on him has been established through this whole gambit/oreki/naomi debacle. My first impression of Naomi is that she is being bolder and presenting herself more strongly than she has when playing town roles in the past... but this could also be explained by gambit's heckling her in other thread

Oreki asked me what's interesting for me this DP, I said it's him acting like this is a trad game, which was quite amusing.

To go back to this, he gave me the vibes of hard trying, of following a strict etiquette to look not wolfy, while asking questions every generic deepwolf would ask. The whole approach was off. Now rethinking it gives me the impression of Gambit/Oreki interaction being a possible V/W interaction.

Imho both should claim if we need claims this DP.

glitter spaghetti at a wall. not everyone here thinks in the same language, and ive never played with him before, though his role play explanations tend to be longwinded so maybe its the case naturally here too.... but i wanted to poke him and see if he'd bite and he didn't.

he literally just asked gambit the same question you are asking everyone else "huh, can you explain that a bit more?" and now it turned into this big thing against oreki--as opposed to everyone pressuring (or thunder doming as he put it) on gambit. and guess who is one of the biggest contributors to those posts and arguments? gambit.

what the hell i am so sick of everyone taking words out of context ughhhh god damn! i asked Naomi and gambit to explain their votes ad accusations yesterday and naomi like blew up at me--which i took as a scum play to shut down or neg me, but naomi mentioned gambit's behavior in an other thread which @Naomi made it sound like had influenced her tone toward him here and by extension me....


i wasn't siding with gambit or defending him anymore than that? like, neither of them really ever directly addressed my question.... if gambit had seemingly overreacted to my genuine and stupid question then i would of ended up spending half the day with this conversation reversed

god damn, i wasn't even trying when i made the most mediocre two sentence post of my life... and it completely ruled the discourse and my energies for the day.... ugh

Yes. Like I said earlier, the spat between Naomi and Gambit wasn't really important, and it was telling that Oreki came in with a tougher-than-expected defense for Naomi. There was no real reason for it to blow up as big as it did, and I think it detracted from town this phase.

Because her response to my suspicion was good. I have no desire to be hyper aggressive like I usually am. I want to take things slowly and develop my reads.

What caused this change of play style?
