@Landayan

The temperature has started to freeze up, swarms of bats are now slowly descending upon their basic survival instincts, staying alive. No matter how much control Landayan has over the bats, outside of the exception of mind control the bats would soon forgo listening to their alpha – the Vampire wouldn’t be able to override the greatest instinct that all animals alike possess – survival. Unlike humans, they could not contemplate about death, loyalty only lies herein themselves – and their own lives. And that would be the logical result of anything short of mind control in the Prince’s case. Being all that is, a mammal rather than a construct of the Prince’s powers, their body would soon slow into a crawl the longer they stood in the freezing climate that dominated the skies of Serapis. Their bodies simply wouldn’t withstand it. Yet the Prince invoked his powers, his control over the bats tightened their loyalty to the Prince, and with another mass of bats would listened to the command of the Prince and in one massive swoop the bats sacrificed themselves for their lord, using their fragile bodies en masse free falling down onto the ground with Hades as their target. But with his powers, Hades isn’t easily dealt with. As soon as the bat swarms would hit the ground with their bodies. The King of Underworld simply dissipated into a purple mist.

Gambit is slowly tiring out. A consequence of his own powers. Unlike Hades, whom so far powered by souls – a war of attrition would only lead to Hades’ victory. Yet the Prince so far could only have to utilize this large amount of powers and concentration, it is the only meaningful answer to what Hades have at this point. The Prince would have to balance. Using such powerful techniques would only be effective and efficient if it would succeed in the Prince’s plans. Yet the Prince did not falter, he would bring out more weapons in response to Hades’ own. Filled with both fire and ice-like spears. They would soon rain down upon the ground, although with two attacks different from each other, it would hit each other continuously while some would successfully hit the ground but neither party would be hurt by it. It is a chaotic mess. Fire and Ice, a combination of which would ultimately create mist that would obscure the skies. But the Prince wasn’t done yet. Heavy rain would descend upon the skies with his artificial manipulation of the skies, lightning storms gathers at its peak, further turning the already weather… cold. It would only serve to worsen the conditions of his allies. The bats. But perhaps the Prince have forgone the conclusion of the inevitable and decided on a more physical approach. After all, he is physically stronger than Hades. There would be no question about it.

Twirling his weapons, the Prince further gather lightning into a singular source. From the skies, the Prince took off to. Reappearing very soon after the bat swarms back on the ground, Hades could effectively tell what the plan was, he has experienced something similar beforehand. In the skies, Landayan would feel the very cold striking him much like the bats experience. It is freezing. It is a cold that the Prince couldn’t understand how. But he felt it once before. It is cold, freezing even. But it is not just a mere temperature and ice. The cold creeps into the very being that is Landayan. It felt gross. Disgusting. Yet no matter the cause, the Prince would summon his strength, with is hammers in tow he swung down onto Hades. A thunderous bolt shoots down upon his call. Quickly, Hades started to gather souls around his hands, creating a greenish-flame of orb concentrating on itself. And he would fire the orb, imploding itself as the green orb releases into a powerful beam of Hellfire right at the bolt of lightning. Two forces of elements would clash, not giving an inch of ground against each other but soon the intensity of the two attacks would finally implode. Causing a powerful explosion that would likely blow back both combatants at once. More smoke would obscure the arena further, alongside mist.

“Lightning huh… I wonder how my brother feels when he delivers judgement…”

Hades spoke. Though not of any laugh nor sarcasm. It was completely serious. One can even detect a slight hint of jealousy from his tone. Appearing above in the skies. Hades raised his hand high up with his bident in tow, now conjured upon by the Olympian’s will, which in response lead to a mass of souls, this time flying straight into the storm that Landayan conjured. And in turn, the lightning storm intensified. Lightning gathers by the very weapon of Hades like a lightning rod. Dark purple in nature, a different coloration than what the Prince did. And the bident would transform into a purple light.

Once the bident fully charged, Hades would have unleashed his own attack – a mockery of Zeus and Landayan in a sense. The thunderous storm that Landayan created, twisted by the Olympian temporarily. He would throw the bident right down at the Prince, and whether or not the Prince would dodge to force the bident aground. A storm of lightning explosively erupts from the weapon. Causing the entire vicinity of the arena to be bombarded with purple-like thunderbolts with the bident as its epicentre. Electrifying the arena, Landayan while even in the skies could even be hit by it given its range.

The King of the Underworld delivered his attack like a bolt of judgement to the mortal coil, in his very own twisted fantasies.

The clash of the Olympian and Hirayan Lords continues. The latter penetrated the former's defence when he delivered the swarm of bats the first time, in gratitude for his trickster. It might be attributed to the rule of non-consecutive usage of dispersing into a purple mist that Gambit could cut through it. And he's right. This time, with the technique called Crime and Punishment, the prince commanded them to deal a massive pool of punches and as expected, the King would dissipate having rested it following second to the last turn.

Yet the prince would progress. Combating the army of flaming spears in the sky, he projected a similar number of frozen spears to meet the descending army. And as a result, an island-wide mist would obscure the battlefield, giving Landayan the opportunity to leap into the sky and alter the weather for a few rounds. As the darkened clouds manufactured lightning within, he harnessed all its energy and combined them with the will of his own, he struck the enemy with a powerful lightning shock attack. But Hades would answer with one of his own. The two titanic attacks met in between, ramifying from the epicentre of the struggle, and spreading beyond the battleground. The crackling of the thunderbolts made by the two would linger for several moments before the surrounding had been totally cleared. A cluster of the mess had been brought. Gambit's minions are nowhere to be found. A heroic sacrifice.

"Is that what the Gods are for? Cruel forevermore?! Have you ever felt fear? All our lives, humans worship not because of faith but fear and yet, the Gods punished them still. Because of your kind's cruelty, people decided to create their own source of faith and distinguished themselves as the one true God. And now, more and more Gods appear in every corner of the world. The very existence of Gods is just a thing of the past. Humans shall rule this world. Humans alone."

In answer to Hades, Gambit concentrated all his might into his arms. At this time, Hades already soared above and fused his bident further with lightning. Gambit was not surprised anymore by all the tricks his foe does. As this happened, for the first time in battle, he coated his entirety with his raging will. Now turned jet black, his eyes glaring in red. Silver hair fluttered as the whirlpool above danced. He gritted his teeth.

"Let us see how far that judgment of yours could take. I will take it all in!"

Dropping his Clima Staff, Gambit positioned himself to tank the incoming attack. His right foot is at the rear. His arms levelled at his waist. Here came the apocalyptic bident fused with his twisted willpower. Whistling as it went down, sweat rolled down Gambit's temples. And in less than a blink, the demonic weapon appeared in front of him and in answer, he punched his claws forward and the bident rammed against the prince's claws, pushing him a couple of dozen meters back. Ploughing the bricks as he went farther, Gambit roared like a mad demon, struggling for his life. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

As he fought for it, his raid suit dramatically got torn down from its black gloves down to the rest of the arm, signifying the strength of the attack. The remnants of the force would progress into the suit covering his body, blasting it apart. He kept on roaring. Finally, the struggle and his striding back would be put to a stop but at the expense of his raid suit, his bats, and his flesh. When the obscurity has cleared, the prince would be seen meters back from where he halted the attack, having been blasted by the rest of the flash. Part of his body is still covered in smoke but when it settled, he was holding his staff in his left hand, the other wielding Hades' bident.

"Is that all you've got?"

The Prince spoke, criticizing the Gods for their standing upon their holy pedestal – that it is their immortality and power that stood above humans that allowed them free reign of their powers. Punishment and reward, judge and executioner. They are what men worshipped. A deity, a being that they could not understand thus they would worship the power higher. But the Prince would claim that no longer would that be true – that men would replace God. But the words of Landayan only lead to a devious smile. The irony is lost upon the proclamation of the Prince. But Hades did not speak further. His weapon readied, he would cast down his bident upon the Prince.

The bolt of lightning fired down upon the Prince, surged and channeled through the weapon known as Tartarus. Its speed massive, causing winds and shockwaves that would blow apart the mist that would followed from the clash between fire and ice, and if it has not fully been dissipated upon by the clash of attacks prior, the attack would. The Prince, in his confidence would decide to withstand the attack like a matyr, near symbolic to his words. He wanted to prove humanity’s strength and so he would do so. Positioned himself, his body readied – the bident would travel in a flash, appearing almost immediately in front of the Prince, allowing the man to answer with his hands, a punch as he would have withstood the power of his weapon. The Prince roared, giving himself more strength and will. The confidence that he could do it. The attack would implode, electricity and force tore apart the surroundings with Landayan at its epicentre. His raid suit torn. Smoke and dust clouds would arise from the powerful attack, obscuring the Prince with the conclusion. But eventually, the dust would clear, showing the results. Pain and injury, the Prince sought. The Prince showed his tenacity to withstand Hades’ power. But at what cost? In his hubris the Prince taken damage with no beneficial results to show for aside for his own egotism. Wielding onto Hades’ bident, the Prince would mock the Olympian’s power.

“Little Landayan. Pretending to be wise only makes you look a fool. But perhaps that’s what you always were. A fool whom understood nothing.”

Hades responded to the Prince’s mockery with his own. In his egotism to prove men’s capability to stand above all the Gods, he could not realize the irony of his words. That all he would ever did was to replace one with another. Man pretending to play God. But that is what humans are. Selfish, egotistic. Their desire to be above every other has bear fruit. They were the apex of the world. Perhaps only beneath God. Some may say God make men in their own image – perhaps there are truths to it. But perhaps it is men that made God in their image. Hades started to laugh once more.

“All I got? All I merely did is imitate Zeus’s enjoyment. It is nothing more than a mere copy, little Prince.”

“The only thing more dangerous than ignorance… is arrogance Landayan!”

The souls started to change, no it wasn’t just a change. Like liquid, the souls around the edges start to drip, drooping and sliding down from itself like a sludge – hands following it. But the souls are limitless, there is no end to it as with the hands, its physical mass would drip endlessly down to the ground, but these mass would not cover the ground with its sludge-like substance. It would disappear, as if absorbed by the very ground that living being stood on. Yet nothing was to happen. The cold has gotten even colder, the Prince would find his body slowly feeling the chills in the bones. No amount of heat regulation would seem to rid them of it. It is a different type of cold. A cold that Landayan would understand, he has experience it once.

“Your fate has been decided. Destiny cannot change. Even if you kill me!”

The black curtain has fallen. Men vs God. The end draws near.

Prince Landayan of the House of Morrow came forth the obscurity, unveiling his torn suit including his inner shirt. What's left behind were the wounds he suffered after his attempt to withstand the catastrophic judgment of Tartaros. He stared above at Hades, grinning first, barely catching his breath. Panting heavily. "Huff. Huff. Huff."

He listened to his foe as he mocked him for what futile display he did in tanking the bolt of lightning. Naming him a fool and forever be. Branding him ignorant and arrogant for playing the martyr in what would be a simple tribute to his brother's game. He lent his ears further, only to hear that his destiny has long been fated and couldn't be changed anymore. This angered the prince. A response would be heard. "Hades..."

"Gods created humanity. But the humanity of gods has been lost in time!", the prince said in his growling voice. Loud enough to be heard in all of Serapis. His angry knuckles, left particularly, raised against his chest blended well with his scowling face and gritting teeth. His body is still shaking from that attack. But above all, it mayhaps is the long-running effects of the chills of the underworld. It is more than that. It is as if, Landayan's mortality is being plucked little by little. His humanity included. His sanity is on the verge of being sucked into nothingness. Something is missing, for lack of better words.

The scene zoomed briefly into his eyes and a memory of his encounter with one of the Fates, namely Atropos begins to play in the background. It was when he attempted to agitate the librarian before the sharp scissors were pinned against his throat. He completely froze up, as if thrown into a frozen hell. The feeling of dying and feeling the pain of leaving the mortal world while you're still alive. Gambit could not move at that time, only his vigour did. Hades might have been aware of this so there's no reason to hide it from him. And yet, the prince would continue to speak.

"Gone are the days of gods' dominion over men. The days when the gods walked the earth with our ancestors. You are the ones who gifted Free Will amongst the creations after all; and yet you continued to pawn us for your own amusement. The dominion of men shall only commence when the powers of your kind were bestowed to rightful men."

Gambit spoke his heart out. His hatred against the gods. He would shout to the Lord, asking what his destiny has been. "You said that I am only a tool to your plans. And that my destiny has long been written. If you are truly hell-bent on my fate, then tell me! Tell me what I have been destined for?!"

Amidst that attack, Gambit with his torn suit and bruised flesh would start to fire up, unleashing his dark aura. This willpower tainted by darkness and sins would spread forth across the island, letting everyone that is in there of his intent to kill the god himself. He roared like the mad warlord he is. "HADEEEEES!"

"Arrogance is different from ego my friend. My past is a monster dressed up in a suit but I have come a long way to learning about my true self. And whilst the Fates themselves have their share of importance in unveiling that curtain, you are nothing but an envious bastard. Jealous of your brothers who ruled the skies and the seas. And you are locked here for centuries, watching as endless souls bound by judgment traverse the Styx. Don't worry, once I am done with you, I shall pass down the judgment myself to your beloved kin. And I shall make the whole world know, this is Hades who mocked the Prince of All Pirates!"

As he channelled his anger into his speech, the prince of pirates clad the lava-forged and lightning-forge hammers with his colours of arms. Turning them both into the purple-like shade, their respective elements drool and spark as the souls in the surrounding area and beyond began manifesting their own ominous display of awakening. Growing countless as the prince keeps on charging his weapons with willpower, the breeze of the air magnifies the cold that the prince couldn't breathe properly anymore. As this occurred, the seven princes of hell once again tapped into his head, offering services to him. The irony.

"It is us again, My Lord.", one of the princes opens up.

"Leviathan...", Gambit acknowledged the name.

"Cursing the gods while you aim to be one. How ironic!"

"I am not seeking to be one. I am erasing this system, Lucifer!"

"And what comes next once you get rid of them?"

"Search for one true benevolent god to worship. You have served the Underworld for a long period of time but no God has ever truly united all the realms, Satan..."

"He would have done so if he was not jealous of humankind. Hahahaha!"
, Beelzebub mocked Satan.

"But that's a fair trade. Our powers are for you to use.", Mammon closes.

As he tried to muster all his evils, the pirate pushed the grounds that his feet easily dug up the soil. He bent his knees and released more stream of Haki around his body. Crackling as they started erupting, he drilled the ground with his two warhammers just like before but this time, more power and pressure were put into the earth. Using his last TWO orbs of weather manipulation, he would aim to destroy the land with all he got, including its master. The earth started the crack and spread forth widely, a combination of heat and cool balls changing the atmosphere and lithosphere. After that, he charged the caverns with both lava and lightning to increase the speed of the process. Once done with the process, the trembling of the earth would commence. Earthquake, Tsunami, and Volcanic Eruption. The full power of the Seismic Scientist unleashed.

After that procedure, he finally kicked the ground and blitzed himself towards Hades. His weapons are still fortified by his evil will. Using his hands ever powerful, he would land eight devastating strikes almost simultaneously against Hades. With each strike, names of the princes and the deity of the oriental storm would be called upon one after the other. Attacks that would break even the mountains if left uncontested! And like a storm he cut the air, whistling.

*WHOOSH!*

"Lend me your strength!"
, he shouted before swinging the lava hammer first from his right hand aiming at the right temple, then a back-handed swing at the left temple. After that, two blows directly to the shoulders, then an upward swing at the chin. Then at the top of the skull. The sixth blow would be at the chest, and the seventh one would be at the face. "Death God's Iron Fist!"

"Mammon!"

"Asmodeus!"
"Leviathan!"
"Beelzebub!"
"Belphegor!"
"Satan!"
"Lucifer!"

Shinigami no Tekken (Death God's Iron Fist), 7 Princes of Hell: Gambit launched himself at the opponent to deliver 7 powerful blows using his hammer to the opponent's body, aiming to crush them. With each blow, volcanic elements emit from the weapon, magnifying the power of the attacks.
- DPR: S+, 100 Warhammer, 100 Navigation, 100 Strength, 100 Movement

Str: 120: 5. Town Level + S+(5) + COA (3) = 13. Moon Level
Habagat ng Silanganan (Storm Deity of the Orient), Mighty Forge, Landayan!: This is a much more devastating version of Maelstorm as it comes with more concentrated energy and higher voltage; mostly done on a single target.
- DPR: S+, requires 100 Warhammer, 100 Dengeki Blue/Navigation, 100 Strength, 100 Movement

Str: 120: 5. Town Level + S+(5) + COA (3) = 13. Moon Level

Gambit would dare to complete a full spin before he finally delivered the last and eight strike ─ off his left hand using the lightning hammer, fully charged with electricity and Haki!

"Storm Deity of the Orient, Mighty Forge, Landayan!"

The conversation quickly changed, philosophy into mockery. The Prince upon hearing the mockery of his words became enraged. He would respond, his voice slowly raising, growling as he angrily clenched his fist. He would speak about the humanity of Gods lost. Yet this was all for naught. Chickens and eggs. The Olympian, worshipped as the God of Death. Did Gods truly ever have humanity? Humanity itself, as some would say – is created by Gods in their image. But what is that image? How could a human understood the values held by a being that they worship higher than themselves? No words were thrown back at Landayan, the Prince would soon feel the chills of the Underworld working against him. Though it has not seemed to reach truly terrifying levels of cold, the cold that he would feel – builds up. As if Death itself is creeping upon from the Prince’s feet. Despite the hostile environment, Landayan continues to speak – this time mentioning how manipulative Gods were towards men. Yet he would quickly, perhaps in the very speech he gave quickly showed his true self. The Prince despise the King of Underworld, as a being of a higher place, he would soon intend to usurp it. His words did not change even seconds to minutes before. Those words only show value when the Prince intends to change more than just the hierarchy. Yet, his words would contradict that. He only intended to replace men as Gods. Nothing more. Nothing less.

And with that, the Prince roared, his body flared, bursting with his will that would stretch across the land. He would question his destiny towards Hades. His purpose, his life. If his destiny is truly written like a script. Like moth to a flame. Would everything up till now, is all calculated? Every move, every word, every emotion. Is all he experienced truly a big lie? Is he like a doll? Stringed up by the puppet master that marionettes his every aspect.

Landayan spoke once more, this time even mocking his jealousy towards his brothers. Though unlike what Landayan perhaps hope to provoke, he couldn’t see any anger that would seethe within Hades unlike himself. Boldly claiming to pass judgement upon the rest of the Olympian, despite his words managed to continue the irony. Arrogance and ego. All within Landayan. His desire to gain strength beyond God to cast them upon their heavenly thrones that would result in his own ascension yet he would not notice that same desire that he would similarly call out upon the Gods. Men and God. They are made in each other’s image. There is no difference.

In his wrath, his rage and his fury. The Prince mastered his power, channelled upon his hammers. The Princes of Hell would arrive to help Landayan. With cracks and manipulation. Gambit made use of his final orbs. The Earth would tremble around Serapis. Natural disasters would occur. His hammers fully charged and infused. Lava would erupt not just around the castle, and even around Serapis in general, tsunami would gather, storming coastline into the island. More trembling would be felt. Quakes. Such powerful disasters would have destroyed islands. But Serapis is the land of the dead. The souls dictate the island. The island wouldn’t fall. Not by the hands of Landayan, not by the hands of disasters. Souls around the edge would start to spiral in different directions, not just by those around the castle, but the town, the island itself acted spiritually. It is their home. Not even Hades could have change that, not even the King of the Underworld could force it. The souls would divert to many directions; Landayan’s attacks were massive. Souls would enter the ground, cracks soothing the lava, they were already freezing cold. Stopping even quakes from damaging the island. The tsunami approaches, yet the souls’ chills quickly freeze the wave. All these would take time, and it would happen whilst the battle continues. The souls doing all they would do to have their home.

With a shout, Landayan leaped forth. Hades would respond, smaller group of souls would quickly enter the King’s body. And with that muscles expand. His hand would reach out, summoning his bident. Whether or not Landayan held onto the weapon or did he place the weapon elsewhere did not matter. It would dissipate itself out of existence before manifesting by Hades’ hand. It is the weapon of Hades after all. Hades smirked. He held no anger, but only mockery. Landayan would swing his hammers seven times; with each swing he would called out the Demons of Christianity. And with each swing the King responded in kind. He would parry, this time being more physically capable of dealing with Landayan’s physicality than before. The courtesy of his improved muscular strength. But even so, his power does not quite match up to a Zoan, each swing from Landayan chipped away Hades’ defense, and finally on the seventh swing, Landayan broke Hades’ guard – allowing the Prince to deliver the eighth blow freely. In his final strike, lightning would strike Hades like a bolt of lightning. Slamming him away with incredible force and might. Bones would be heard. Cracked. In a second Hades is sent flying.

Smoke and dust filled the arena. Landayan has definitely delivered a strike that would gravely injured someone, if not death. Yet.

“Ha…hahahaha…. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

Hades laughed, like an absolute madman. Did the Olympian go crazy? That is a laugh not of fear of death. It is a laugh that would likely even surprise and scare Landayan. Not because of how creepy it is. But because it is a laugh that could be interpret of someone whom did not care. The dust and smoke would settle. It would only reveal Hades, completely bloodied from head to toe filled with Ichor, his body twisted, one of his arm completely broken, his neck completely snapped to one side. Yet Hades showed no pain. No fear. Only laughter that felt as if Hades simply couldn’t hold back from.

“Demons?! HAHAHAHAHA! All that talk… ALL THAT BRAVADO… HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

“IN THE END, ALL YOU DID IS FIND ANOTHER PANTHEON TO HELP YOU!? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! IS THIS WHAT SAPIRO TAUGHT YOU? THE PRINCE OF IRONY?! HAHAHAHAHA!”

Suddenly, Landayan would feel something completely unnatural on his legs, a creepy feeling. Should Landayan looked down, he would notice two things. Parts of his lower body starts to iced up. Though not preventing movement, the weather has completely gone down to freezing. The other thing he would immediately notice even before the freezing is hands. It would start appearing from the ground, raised up to grab hold on to Landayan. Hades continues to laugh, uncaring. The souls however, they have a different idea. Slowly, they would rise up. But they aren’t just skeletons, these hands are much more… flesh, fragile-looking even. Behind them, skeletons start to raised up at the same time. This time without weapons. They would look to pull Landayan into the ground. Hades not even bothering to attack anymore. He would watch amused. Only laughter would come. The pull is strong, and with the cold and freeze – it makes it very dangerous for Landayan. For whether it is due to Hades’ direction, or their anger now fully focused upon Landayan for what he has done – the Prince cannot afford to be dragged down by the souls. Defeat would only await.

Dragging the princes of hell into his fight, Prince Landayan shot the wind with his warhammers ─ both imbued with the will of his own. With each strike, he roared the names of the 7 princes, parrying equally with Hades Bident, summoned in Gambit's wake. And on his eighth and final strike, the lightning crackled along with his spirit as he spun perfectly before landing an earth-shattering back-handed blow using his left hand. The attack was so ferocious and rapid that when it was swung, the surrounding air seemed to have been pulled into the heart of the swing before it landed on the body of the Olympian God!

It rammed Hades. The almighty hammer rested, dented into his flesh and dove further into his bones ─ cracking. The sound of the cracks was loud enough that it sounded like a brick shattered by a sledgehammer. The next thing that happened, Hades was sent flying backwards, hurling specks of dust in his trajectory before finally smashing the ground with all the dirt. The remnants of lightning still spark around Gambit's weapon. The lava still drooling. And the path in which Hades flew through still has trails of both. A remarkable feat. Gambit continued to pant heavily. His eyes are covered in shadows. A tiring battle it is.

"His Grace is many men but not a great teacher. But I was raised to understand my weakness and find my strength by acknowledging them! You have been alone your entire life until you took that woman from her beloved mother. You wouldn't understand how it feels to be weak and deceived by the world! For you are the deception himself!"

"But how does it feel being beaten by your so-called pawn? Look at yourself. Still laughing despite all this? You are helpless Hade─.

He stared momentarily at Hades. And he was shocked to see what he has become after that blow. A limp body staggering to get up. And when he did, he walked like a corpse. Dislocated joints and bloodied body. A real incarnation of the undead right before his very eyes. More souls filled the arena, and these souls seemed to have been manifesting, embodying fleshes of the fallen and the rotten. Altogether, they would collude in one direction ─ his location. Gambit was about to set flight and deal another blow to Hades but something beneath him triggered. "What sorcery is this?!"

I can't move... Tch!

His legs were frozen, couldn't move. The atmosphere finally reached enough temperature for everything to freeze but only within. It is not the usual freezing of the land. The undead capitalized on this opportunity to finally grab Landayan's legs. He tried to bat them with all his might, charging electricity and sprouting lava one after the other but more of them emerged and pull him even further. It was a bottomless pit that even with his flight ability, he could not just set himself free. He angered the souls for what he's done to their home. For a moment, he cleared the path and almost let loose but unexpectedly, hundreds reappeared. Endless. And from there, hell manifested. All transpired amidst the mockery of the Lord in front of him. It was rather insulting. Alas, the prince despite his effort to escape, hands entirely covered his body, covering his eyes as they tried to have him dragged into the darkness. "Dammit!"

Moments have passed. And into the darkness.

"I. I cannot lose yet."

"This feeling again. An endless fall to a bottomless pit."

"Not today."

Gambit spoke even though he could see nothing. Nothing but void. He could not even feel his hands, his feet, his body. Not even the throbbing of his heart if he even had one after the hole Hades put into his chest. Not even the scent of the tobacco coming off his mouth. It was only chill but not physical. "I still need to meet Larsi. Knowing that he's alive and well only to be defeated by this rant."

"My friends waiting for me."

"My dream!"

A long fall occurred as he uttered those words. But outside this event, only a few seconds have passed. Suddenly, as he keep on falling, a luminous figure emerged from above, its hand reaching.

"Who?"

Voices would be heard one after the other as one by one grabbed his hand, lifting him up to claim his victor.

T-BAG: "Pretty!"
Kube: "Gambit!"
Reynolds: "Gambit"
KG: "My man."
Manaka: "Landayan."
Koza and Aramis: "Gambit!"
Cletus: "Captain!" @Mr. Anderson
Azrael: "Captain!" @Dream
Koujiro, Mushashi, and Sarge: "Gambit!"

Lastly, his old friend started at him with his glaring willpower. Ready and waiting for their next adventure. You better keep up kid. Or somebody will claim it. @Larsi

"Larsi?"

"No! This is our will. The WILL OF THE SILVER VAMPIRATES!"

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGRH!"

Gambit denounced the evil and the hordes of demons plunging him to the depths of nothingness. Not today, he said. Today he kills a God and claims the throne. With a mighty roar, the Chief of the Vampirates unleashed all his might and willpower for one massive and explosive burst of aura, blasting everything that grabbed his body and freeing himself from the frozen situation he was in. The ember of his will has overcome the chill of the underworld. "Defy me again you filthy souls, and you won't find peace for all eternity.", he threatened the souls.

From the ground, he flapped his wings violently, unloosing blast of winds forward. Pushing the ground and flapping his wings, Gambit sped forth Hades as a bullet fired from a high-calibre magnum. Blitzing, he combined again his two warhammers into a clima-staff not to summon weather or anything but to cast a death bringer. From that flight, he swung the staff first upwards, aiming to strike the chin of his opponent. If successful, he would chase him up in the air before pounding the staff downward as trails of Haki leaked from it.

After that, the pirate would charge his weapon with both lightning and lava once more before plummeting back to the earth to land an attack that would most likely create a vast and deep crater of the impact. Two attacks. One tribute to his old friends who practiced with him with this old style.

"For Vampirates!"

"Nirvana!"

"Rock and Roll, Allstar!"

Nirvana: The user focuses all his energy, speed, and strength on his weapon. As the weapon catches fire, he will dash forth the opponent and starts with an upward stroke to the chin sending them mid-air. Jumping above his target, he will launch a downward strike to the head sending them back to the ground.

Rock n Roll, All-star!!: This attack should be considered ultra-skill. The user jumps in the air at lightning speed. Then he channels all his energy into the weapon. And as it catches fire, he will then flip multiple times while falling to the target before launching an overhead strike to its head which leaves them bursting in flames.

The Prince continues to monologue, though he would quickly mock Hades for his apparent insanity. But before he would continue, the Prince saw what is happening underneath his feet. Cold. The souls of the dead has come for Landayan. The Prince tore through the hands, quickly attempt an escape, but it is all for naught. The souls of the dead, numerous, would overwhelm Landayan. They are not particularly strong, but the chills of the Underworld reign supreme, eventually he would be pulled into darkness. Hades would only watch, placing his hand upon the neck as if ready to rip off his own head. Yet he would only pull, causing his head to snap back to its original position and placement, a loud crack would only follow his actions. Souls would start to fill Hades’ body once more. And the King looked on. His laughter softened for a moment.

The Prince slowly fell into darkness; his body sinks into the ground. But he would quickly attempt to climb up. Struggle. The Prince force himself to get up. His memories would aid him, his family and friends, the Vampirates became his source of strength, the adrenaline to pull himself out of the grasp of the undead. And soon, the Prince would climb, swim. He would make it to the top, a white light that he would follow. And soon, in a thunderous roar of energy – the Prince pulled through, his strength overwhelmed the souls as he reaches back out to the ground. With a burst of energy and willpower, the Prince exude life. Blasting away the souls of the dead from his reach, in his anger and perhaps rightfully so, given how dangerous they could be – would threaten them. But it would fell upon deaf ears. Unlike Hades, whose powers manipulate the souls, and rule upon them. The Prince does not have that similar powers, but that is who the Prince is. He is not Hades. Thus no matter how powerful he would become – he wouldn’t able to interact with the souls in a meaningful way that Hades could achieve. The Prince was able to push back the souls, but it is only temporary. The dead could not be hurt by Landayan. They would simply reform, and in their negativity they would slowly creep. Death could not be avoided.

Landayan would however, quickly get into the air – off ground he would fly straight towards Hades, preventing the hands from successfully getting another attempt at pulling down Landayan. The adrenaline in his body working overtime to combat the cold that has set in. It is only temporarily, eventually such adrenaline would be overcome by sheer cold, and eventually to the souls. This means that time is short, the Prince is racing against time, to defeat Hades before his own body fails and the souls of the dead would capture him once more. He would likely catch on that fact, and perhaps the reason for attacking Hades immediately. The Prince would transform his hammers into a staff, swung against Hades vertically upwards – Hades would respond, a straight-forward attack is much simpler to deal with, raising his bident as he would guard himself against the swing. His physical weaker, especially with his body however allowing Landayan to successfully sent Hades back into the air. Hades continue to smile like a maniac, as if he has truly gone insane. He wouldn’t even move much, though that could likely be his body in such a contorted shape. Yet given how little Hades seems to care, it’s hard to tell.

Landayan would follow Hades into the skies, before slamming his staff down towards Hades, prompting another defense by Hades as he blocks the attack. Though with gravity and the vertical force of swing, Landayan’s attack was much stronger than before, sending the King down to the ground at incredible speed. With that, Landayan would perform a descending thrust, using elements to imbue his attack with greater force. Two different attacks combined into one, Landayan aimed to end it all. But.

Hades would disappear into the purple mist, once more his ‘immortality’ strikes, just as Landayan would hit him. Perhaps a surprise as the Prince wasn’t necessarily around whilst pulled by the souls. The attack would tremble the earth, lava and lightning dispersed the ground as it tore the ground asunder. But it would be quickly repaired, for the souls in the ground has taken full control of it. It was not a matter of importance, but how quickly it is repaired by the souls – might likely distract Landayan. Dust and smoke would fill the area around the Prince, obscuring vision. But in that mere seconds of landing the attack, a hand came through – engulfed in a mass of green fire as it plunges through the smoke and towards the Prince. Palm to the face, Hades’ hand appears – aimed to grab hold of Landayan’s face, likely burning the Prince in the process, as Hades re-manifested, in a running sort of position, and with a swing of his hand, Hades aimed to grab and throw Landayan towards the walls of the souls surrounding them, which if successful, Landayan would find himself captured, though this time he wouldn’t sink or be dragged – he would find himself in a powerful hold by the souls, a vulnerable position.

Gambit catapulted away from the grave, launching himself towards Hades. With his Haki-enhanced Warhammers turned into staff, he swung it upwards against the chin of the enemy. The latter tried to defend himself by holding the bident against the incoming strike but the formidability of the prince would be victorious, sending the target to the skies. Seeing this, Gambit quickly chased him up, shooting skywards with his weapon already in motion. Finally, as he reached Hades, he slammed it down, pounding his vanguard before plummeting back to hell. Hellbound.

Landayan, with his weapon rumbling with electricity, dove to chase him down. His staff held above his head, full of magnitude and gravity pulled him down. But as soon as he pounds the King of Hell, he vanished in sight, turning into a purple mist.

[BOOM]
[CRACKLES]

The very earth shook, vibrations felt across the land and beyond the castle. For a moment, the rest of the battleground was covered with breaches and gaps. But it soon was healed by the resident evils. Swift in motion. With the pirate prince's life force nearly dying down, it would take him a while before he could recover from that sequence of big attacks. "Huff. Huff. Huff. "

His shoulders moved up and down as he tries to catch his breath, he tried to sense where the enemy is at. No avail. This realm is beyond his echolocation. It's as if sound waves are kept from reaching beyond the walls. Alas, beneath the bags of dirt, a blistering hand clad in hellfire burst forward and onto his face! Grabbing his face firmly, Hades manifested blasting him away to the other side before slamming him against the wall. "Gwaah!"

And Gambit bellowed as he burst into flames after crashing. "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!"

The prince agonized as his body rammed the bricks whilst blood seeped through his mouth. The cracking sound of the slam resulted in further injury to the prince, fracturing his back. But it didn't stop at that, for the souls he just threatened a while ago would engulf all of him, attempting to draw him into the rivers of death. He would remain there for a moment then, battling for life.

And as he tastes the blood of his own, nasty and odd. Smelled the foulest of creatures surrounding him. The endless howling of the ghastly folks. The scenery of death and sins. The feeling of leaving your mortal body. The chill of the sundering world. Gambit, with his remaining machinery, mustered the remnants of the electricity stored in his body by Germa Technology through DNA modification. Charging all of it into his core, the sparks pumped his weakening organs and draw more blood to sustain. A magnificent ability. An ability with a huge drawback.
Gambit Blue: Gambit charges himself with electricity, pumping his organs so they would produce more blood. And with the stream of energy flowing through him, he can move and attack much faster.

As he powered up using this science, from the nigh dominion of souls over his mortality, he unfastened himself by flapping his vampiric wings forward and backwards multiple times before dragging his upper body up and standing until all of him is finally coated with lightning.

Staring at the King who tossed him away, he lifted himself up so that he hovers over the hordes of demons below. He spoke and gestured his claws in front of him, "Amuse yourself until you can. This insanity is coming to an end."

"Your biggest mistake is assuming that you have all the control over the world. The thread of life is spun, fate is decided by men, and it's our will to choose our own ends. No matter how you gods claim that the ink is already dry on the parchment, we alone possess the will to walk the earth, traverse the seas, and roam the skies. It is our mortality that keeps us unique and envied by you gods."

"Here I come, Hades."

"Death awaits you."

At the speed of light, he blitzed at Hades' location, his right hand covered in willpower. Jet-black. And with the magnified speed and strength loaned from the electric blue, he took off, blasting the souls beneath him with the wind scythes coming off his wings. As he sped forth towards Hades, his right claw swung right at the face of his foe, aiming to wreck his face whilst attempting to firmly lock his face into his mad knuckles. He roared, "SATANIC INTERVENTION!!!"
Satanic Intervention: Gambit catapults at his target at full speed and strength, piercing through him with his sharp claws.

If this attack is a success and if his claw continued to wrap around Hades' face, he would flap his wings in rapid succession, soaring into the heavens. From that motion, he would rotate rapidly from left to right. Reaching a few kilometres in the air, Gambit would put a brief stop before spinning around the abstract of the moon above, as if drafting the shape of it. He would continue to spin before finally deciding to plummet back to hell, and throw Hades into it with such velocity in its possession. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!"
Eldest Vampire Hell Drop: Gambit grabs the victim using his claws and soars to the sky, spinning rapidly. At the height of his flight, he will descend at his full speed before throwing the prey mid-flight, head first back to the ground; dealing serious damage due to the velocity and fall's impact.

The Prince thrown with a powerful immolated hand – toss into the edges of the wall where the mass of souls resides. The burn, painful. Blistering heat would quickly cover the Prince’s face as his face along with his body combust into flames before slamming into the wall. Though no bricks were present, the physicality of the souls around the edge were enough to cause similar damages. But it is not all that is the problem. The souls would quickly hold onto the Prince, aimed to pin him up in a vulnerable position. His injuries have started to accumulate, agonizing pain would strike the Prince’s nerves. His body in a terrible state. Pinned temporarily onto the wall, it would allow Landayan some reprieve, to rest his body even for seconds. Landayan has become terribly weak; all the damage has accumulated up till now has taken a toll on the man. His body is failing.

But in a surprise, and perhaps an emergency protocol – Landayan’s suit would electrify, jumpstarting his organs to increase blood flow. The Prince understood he is on borrowed time. And he also realized that Hades must have taken a lot of damage as well. He would have to pin everything on the next few minutes. A race against time. A temporary power up – with regained strength and stamina, the Prince uses his wings to beat against himself – generating thrust and power necessarily to free himself of the souls’ grasp. The King started to wipe dust off his hands, listening to more words the Prince. There is no further need to talk about philosophies. The difference in opinions and that they do not truly understand either would only make any more words complicated. The King would only smile, death does not scare him.

Landayan would rush towards Hades at incredible speed, a similar action that Hades used – Landayan did the same, his palm out, hands would slam at Hades’ face. Prompting a defensive action once more, Hades simply summoned his bident to defend, another clash. This time however, the guard wasn’t strong enough to deter Landayan’s attacks, though just slightly overpowering the King with relative ease. The attack pushed the bident near his face, the claws of the Vampire slightly sinking into Hades’ face as ichor flows, Hades merely crackle a laughter despite his facial injury, blood overflowing. With his attack a decent success, Landayan took himself and Hades into the skies – up till in the skies Landayan would finally spun around, before he would descent rapidly with Hades in tow before throwing him down in mid-flight. The throw generates much power, enough to even prevent Hades from moving his body, though he could just be too injured physically speaking to actually break the throw. And thus, the King landed back down onto the ground at immense speed. The ground cracks, as a loud thud-like sound could be heard as Hades went down. Smoke and dust arise from its impact. Seconds would past, but then, souls around would start to gather within the dust cloud.

“Huff… huff…”

Hades’ breathing finally became erratic. His body began to break down. The dust cloud would swirl rapidly as the souls gathers inside, before revealing two green flames, one on each hand – clearing of all obscurities.

“Isss… that all Landayan…? I thought you wish me dead! Ha…hahaha..ha!”

Hades would slam both hands onto the ground, filled with hands of rotten flesh and skeletons. And soon, the earth would rumble greatly, soon everywhere at the arena, the ground cracks – erupting a multitude of greenish flame pillars, surrounding Landayan.

“Come on my little pawn! SHOW ME YOUR ANGER! YOUR WRATH! Hahahahaha!”

Hades provoked Landayan once more, releasing his hands off the ground – one hand would quickly reach out towards the direction of Landayan, and Hades would close them up like a fist. As soon as he did the green flame pillars would suddenly twist and turn, they would follow Landayan, aiming to burn him from all directions from each pillar. The souls of the dead, the chills would almost disappear momentarily, overcome with extreme heat and firepower.

The clash of royal evils continues to unfold in the land of the dead. Landayan, on the verge of death. Hades, arching towards the judgment. The moment we have been waiting for. The fated end and beginning. Gambit's angered and undying ember flared once again, calling forth bolts of lightning to pump his organs. And as soon as he did, the prince of pirates launched himself towards his opponent, shooting his demonic claws across the face of the Evil Lord, banging against the unholy bident but still able to wrap it around the targeted face.

Alas, another success; but Ichor gushed out his face and with his claws digging into his flesh, Landayan inadvertently sucked the blood, adding more agony and pain to what he already had. But it wasn't enough to stop him, for he progressed to his initial plan and took Hades into the sky. Spinning and twisting like a mad top! And from the sky, he plummeted back to hell ground and hurled his foe crashing like a comet to the earth.

[BOOM!]

A huge explosion occurred. The spot Hades landed on was covered with dirt and smoke. Crater so deep underground he rested for a while. A moment later, more souls colluded within the point of impact. Potentially the climax of his invocation. Both warriors are at their limits, breathing heavily. Gambit's even taking in air through his mouth. "Ha... Ha... Ha..."

And then from that summoning, clouds of dust erupted before they spiralled within, unveiling two green flames in both hands. Obscurity no more. And then he spoke.

“Isss… that all Landayan…? I thought you wish me dead! Ha…hahaha..ha!”

"You. Ha... Ha... still alive... after tha-?"

"Muaha... Ha... Ha... Hahaha!"

And then Hades ruptured the hell bottom, pure evilness it mustered. When the ground cried, breaches everywhere; an army of hell fire, green in nature surrounded the prince. And then it happened. A magnified fist of darkness trailed Landayan. He raised his staff and coated it with his colours of arms. As it approached, he bound his weapon with earth by puncturing the ground. And with a well-timed swing off his right side, it clashed the fist of horror! Elliptical disc of shockwaves ramified across the land. Black bolts crackled at its centre. However, he could no longer deal with the successive release of flame pillars. He could only look as the judgment was bestowed upon him. Right before his very tired eyes. And he bellowed with pain and agony as the flames of hell struck and engulfed him. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

As he roared, a single fallen bat's wing would twitch slightly. Zooming out, many more would convulse. But they are dead. Focusing on each of them, it seemed that they suddenly came back from the dead. A greenish orb would be seen inside the skeletons of each creature. An orb the size of their own hearts. And then a few would rise from the dead, flapping wings. Dozens would rise to the air, flying. And briefly thereafter, thousands would be flocking towards him, surrounding him. And as they all conspired around their master, they wrapped his body to extinguish the fire, hell-bound.

A few seconds after, the bats slowly dispersed, unfolding Landayan once more. As he manifested, he was standing, burnt but unburnt. He is alive. He even got the nerve to pull his remaining joint from his right pants pocket. A cigar crumbled and odd. He took it inside his mouth and used the remnants of the fire from his torn suit to light the vice. "Thank you... I was just about to ask... for a light..."

"But you are full of darkness in you..."

A staredown. A brief one. Landayan was thinking about the phenomenon that just occurred. An awakening of new power? Or an acquisition of heritage? He smiled. Fine. I shall show you my anger. Standing, he coated his staff with Hardening and at the same time for the first in this battle, infused his King's Haki, letting the staff shine like a greenish lance. And after that, he also let electricity and lava bind his weapon. And finally, using his unexplained new spiritual power, the staff glows further. Energy flows off of each end in a fashion similar to flames, making it look more arrow-shaped. But could he control it yet? That's beyond his knowledge for now.

Placing his right foot at the rear, he raised the lance above his right shoulder, aiming for his target. In a throwing position, he thrust the lance as if he's actually throwing it but in reality, he would keep on holding this and only allow the concentrated energy and elements to let loose as a form of projectile.

"Here it is!"

"Ressureccion! Lanza del Relámpago!"

I have no tech approved for this yet but it can be the next stuff. So we'll take this as a glimpse of future developments. Maybe S-Rank attack and a Planet Level DPR as it was coated with COC and COA.

The Prince, left in an exhaustive position would take deep breaths, taking as much air as possible to ensure energy levels are kept up – but his attacks weren’t enough to completely take out Hades as the King of the Underworld quickly arose once more, this time using not just provoking more anger and wrath from Landayan but also attack him at the same time. Several flames pillars would erupt from the ground, prompting Landayan to react, responding by slamming the ground with his staff, before swinging the staff against one or several of the flame pillars congregating towards him, success. But that’s not the only flaming pillars Landayan had to deal with. There are more. And soon, coupled with exhaustion and injuries, the flaming pillars struck the Prince with incredible might, engulfing him in flames.

The Prince screamed, the bats – dead. Would twitch. They would revive though such powers that Landayan held over dead bats are undefined, perhaps a necromancer of sorts combined with his vampirism. But no matter the cause, the green-like orbs would manifest from the undead bats – thousands would arise, all gathering into the immolated Prince as they would wrap their body, extinguishing the immense pain of the Hellfire. Moments would pass as bats would disperse, likely either staying around or back to their graves. A cigar lighted by the burnt Prince. More words are thrown, but eventually Landayan would finally unleash one more attack upon Hades, using his staff as the catalyst, he would utilize Haki, creating a green-like energy that would coat the staff – energy flowing off its edges like flames. In a throwing-like stance, Landayan would ‘throw’ the staff, though not exactly throwing but rather to unleash the immense energy gathered on the tip of the staff and fired off like a beam towards Hades.

Hades smirked. Placing both hands in front of him – Hellfire congregates onto his palm, creating a flaming-like shield in front of him. The energy beam would strike the flaming-like shield, aiming to destroy the defense that Hades utilize. Seconds would pass, then finally.

Creak… creak…

The flaming shield start to buckle, the energy beam would slowly erode away the flaming shield, and then soon, it would eventually destroy the shield and hit through, striking Hades. An explosion would occur, with Hades at its epicentre, generating a large volume of dust and smoke. Once the energy beam has fully unleashed its load. All that remains are smoke.

Is it finally over?

Gambit pitched the steeled radiant beam of catastrophic spirit arrow. A few octaves fell off the screech as it coursed through. The heaving sounded less like an airstrike, and more like a mutually sound devastating strike. Further desolating the howling atmosphere of Serapis. A rumbling projectile straight to the heart of the Abyss.

Hades invoked a flaming shield and for a fated moment, there was a struggle between the two spirit-based summonings. Alas, the barrier started the crackle and crunch like a foot stepping on a fig. And at long last, a plaintive thrust was heard as the spear pierced through it and pushed through Hades' body. A resounding and thunderous explosion quickly followed as soon as the radiance ramified from the epicentre of the blast. It engulfed the entirety of the land, ripping off the walls surrounding the arena. Dancing is the specks of dust and smoke while the air stormed in all directions, obscuring the passage of even the darkness.

The clouds of dust surrounding Gambit have not totally dispersed yet but we can see a glimpse of him. Barely catching his breath. His hands were still held across his chest. But his eyes are half-dead. He's even staggering to stand on his feet. And before the smoke had cleared, the Mighty Prince of All Pirates fell on his knees and crashed to the ground. With a sharp thud, he morphed back to his human form.

The Prince, exhausted from the fight – his body breaking down would fell to his knees before landing face first onto the ground, eyes half dead. Heavy from the physical exertion perhaps to such a tremendous level. The Prince was temporarily forced to revert to his human form. Lying on the ground, the Prince breathes. And he would rest, likely believing the end of the fight. The side effects of ichor quickly fading out.

“Ha…. ha…. Hahaha …. ha….”

Hades finally laughed, still left in the smoke obscuring him – but then, something changed. This would likely completely take Landayan in surprise, after all Hades still stood despite all that the Prince has done. An impossibility. But an Olympian, a God. Their body and their blood – different from mortal beings.

An incredibly cold breeze would suddenly blow towards Landayan and the arena, things start to completely freeze up. The air would turn frigid, temperature rapidly dropping to sub-zero temperatures. Landayan would quickly feel his body iced up, easily forcing him to shiver in sheer cold. The ghostly hands on the ground would start to moan loudly, creating a terrifying noises. Hades stood in front of Landayan several metres away, his body completely near shattered, teetering on life and death. A hole completely blew wide open on the Olympian’s chest as ichor quickly flows out of it. Yet the Olympian, huffing and puffing would simply open his arms, wide. Yet he did nothing else. The ice cold air would make it nearly impossible to even held on to his own weapon, sapping away the strength that Landayan barely held on to and made it difficult to breathe properly. Words would be difficult, and highly likely merely wasting energy. The ichor that Landayan have make used of, is rapidly losing its effects. It’s only about time before the effects would end and completely overwhelm the Prince with extreme exhaustion, likely forcing him unconscious.

“C…an’t finish the job little pawn…?”

What replaces smoke and dust became icy cold wind, creating a foggy-like air pushing outwards against all. No bats could further withstand the cold as they would quickly be completely frozen solid. All that would remain for the Prince is but his own, his body. The souls would start to contract, yet still remain in a storm-like motion it would completely encase Landayan and Hades in its eye. There is nowhere to go. Each step, each action that Landayan would take would be an immense struggle – a heaviness weighed on Landayan as if beyond normal comprehension, his body would barely listen, and each step slow to a crawl. The souls of the dead beneath the ground would slowly crawl up, at snail’s pace they would try to latch on to Landayan, the only being that would exude any form of life. The only living being effectively. Like moth to flames they would try to sap away that very energy. And for each soul that latch onto the Prince’s body, he would hear voices in his head, pain, misery from their words – and the more souls latched on, the more voices would be heard – capable of even turning men insane from the voices. They would not sink down Landayan, instead they would bog him down. The feeling of death is overpowering, as if Landayan’s soul is slipping away.

“C…ome Landayan…! Kill me! And I will prove to you…. That destiny cannot change! Fu…. Ha… hahaha!”

Welcoming death, Hades awaits, only barely even manage to get his own words out, a testament to the damage Landayan has inflicted upon the Olympian. Only but a couple of metres from the Olympian stood the Prince. Though without weapons and powers, the physical power of the Zoan remains. Only that one strike remains… a fatal blow to the Olympian’s heart to end it all.

Landayan ploughed into the nether after ravaging the landscape of Serapis. Jaded. Clinching his palms against the soil, he edges his body up, but his head is bowing as he tried to rise. He wheezed. For a moment, it was as if he was about to succeed. Only to hammer back to the ground. He grunts. As he rested there, Hades faded in, laughing. The prince aimed to gaze, his eyes blurring in both obscurity and exhaustion.

The Lord of the Underworld approached, expressing his derision at Landayan. Yet, the prince would utter no words but get up, slinking. His limp right arm drooped as he struggled to stand. His left eye is swollen. Bruises, fractures, and blood all over his body. A hole in his chest. Ungainly, he slouches.

This pain would throb even deeper as the climate finally reaches its climax, taking the temperature down to the freezing point. Mayhaps, even beyond that. The strong gust of cold blew past the prince, ingraining chills into his already ruptured body. It would not deter his determination. And suddenly, all this coldness would collude around the two turning into a glacial storm, entrapping both for a final showdown.

The prince couldn't even stand and yet the souls would all conspire, stirring into him. The burden of the dead. All the undying turmoil and despair manifested in succession. Voices mewling at first but every moment they dove into him, they all buzzed inside his head. Piercing his consciousness, shrilling his own soul with the madness.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh!"

Hades spoke in the background, prompting him to finish him off. But Gambit could barely let loose of the phenomenon. He was struggling inside and out. Amidst the slithery and biting sensation of the ghastly presence, he retaliated. He moved his arms against the entrapment. No avail. What will the proud man do? When was the last time he actually sought help? Ever since he left that kingdom, he's got nothing but pride. Pride to return back to that forsaken land to prove his worth. To whom will he prove his worth? King Sapiro just died. To his biological father who he did not know his entire life? To the people? These are not the people he needs to please. The outside world is waiting. Ready and waiting for the ascension of the new king. But even kings call his banners in time of need. He would not heed. This is not the moment. To succeed to the throne, he must surmount all the tempest mauling at him.

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Suddenly, a blast of willpower suddenly erupted from his core, wiping out the souls and all the smog concealing his vision and thoughts. And quickly, he stood right before Hades with a scowl on his face. The determination. He didn't need help. He unleashed his willpower alone. The will of the Kings.

"I am the Landayan Morrow, the 14th Royal Blacksmith! Lord of Hiraya. I am the one destined to ascend to the top. I am The Gambit. Prince of all Pirates!"

"The man who shall be King."

Gambit hurled tremendous energy into his fist. The wind rapidly whirls and lightning bolts around him. And with an almighty roar, he catapulted Hades, twisting his hip from right to left as he launches an uppercut at full blast. As the fist moves, a vortex of electricity and highly compressed air about a meter in diameter trailed his punch, destroying everything inside its attack radius and path and most likely tearing through the roof of the caverns and beyond the surface. Before Hades could even blink, the fortified fist of destruction rumbled and crackled as his divine will compounds into his brave knuckles, shining in black, leaking in purplish substance. The incantation the vampire growled.

Vampirate Fist: Lightning Storm God: Gambit hurled tremendous energy into his fist. The wind rapidly whirls and lightning bolts around him. After that, with an almighty roar, he would launch an uppercut at full blast as a vortex of electricity and highly compressed air about a meter in diameter trailed his punch, destroying everything inside its attack radius and path.

The cold wind continues to blow throughout, the souls grasp onto Landayan would bog down the Prince. But despite the all the adversities, Landayan felt the insanity of the souls clinging onto him, feeding him thoughts and voices. Only his willpower remains, all that he could muster. Eventually, upon reminiscing and reflecting that his willpower would emerge victorious. Blasting away the souls and the mist. But it would not truly matter. No matter how much willpower he has, his body and soul so close to death would gravely turn the souls of the dead into a power beyond mortal coil. Worse than before than his first attempt in deterring them, he would only go so far as to blast parts of the souls rather than completely, the mist almost instantly sets back in. But for the Prince that is all he needed. The small amount of strength to push through and get to Hades. Using all that remains of his energy, Landayan hurl everything into his fist. And he would strike, sending all into Hades as he attempts an uppercut. His fist would connect. But Hades – is immovable. Heavier than mountains, Landayan couldn’t physically overwhelm Hades, whether due to his condition or something truly happen with Hades he wouldn’t know. But the power of the fist would still connect. And that blast would strike through the skies, breaking the clouds alongside it. The souls around them remain untouched. The cold air would stop for a moment, replaced by smoke and dust from the powerful strike that Landayan created. He would feel that the area in which he touched Hades with the fist – disappeared.

Smoke and dust obscures his very vision. But then.

SHRK

Landayan would find himself impaled with Hades’ bident, Tartarus. Within the smoke, a figure remained but aside from the hole Landayan initially created, another hole overlaps it, where the heart would be, gone – the entire arm on the left disappeared as well. And soon, Hades laughed but even more weakly this time.

“Fu…fu….fu….fu….”

Hades would suddenly combust into greenish flame, his body no longer able to handle his own power would start to burn away. The souls around them became green, this time contracting even closer, until they would phase through and around both Hades and Landayan. A surge of unnaturalness would quickly overwhelm Landayan as parts of Hades starts to rapidly burn into ashes. Death would come for Hades.

“Welcome…. To Hell…… Landayan!”

“Ha…. Ha…. Hahahaha… hahahaha…!”

“Hahahaha!”

“Ha…. ha…ha!”

Landayan would quickly lose unconsciousness hearing the mad laughter of Hades slowly become softer and softer, the combined effects of exhaustion, the side effects of ichor and all the damage up till now would finally takes its toll. The souls of the dead still lurching upon the Prince. But alas, the Prince’s energy is completely out. Only destiny would determine his fate.

Landayan Morrow, captain of the Silver Vampirates galloped to Hades and hurled everything in him for one final contest. His crying fist wailed in its flight together with all his dreams and longing, not trying to discount anything for nothing. And his mighty fist rammed against Hades' chest, tearing apart everything it touched. And it was followed by a massive explosion that went through the surface of the day above.

After that, darkness would encase Morrow. And as much as he tried to condemn the lapping shadows upon him, it just freely prowl into him. The judgment. The bident edged into his chest. There's nothing more to react at this point in time for Gambit has finally reached the conclusion of his health and senses. Only his body expressed what just happened as blood freely gushed out his mouth and fleshes. His mortal eyes peeked at the remnants of the King of Hell but it was nigh visible. Yet, it continued to laugh at him before totally giving in to the flames of hell. And as Hades turned into ashes, the resident souls manoeuvred into him. But before he could even see the last of the souls bog him down, he at long last fell but the laughter echoes in all his unconsciousness.

[THUDS]

Landayan Morrow, prince of all pirates entered the realm of the dead. Falling into nothingness, the prince is in solitude. His mind spoke.

Is this hell? But there's nothing here.

I see.

No hell. No heaven. Not even a purgatory. It is oblivion after all. All that trouble for nothing.

Fuck you, Hades. Fuck your destiny.

These were his last thoughts before succumbing farther into the void. After a while, his thoughts and emotions would follow.

Hours later….

“Help me get this dog… under control!”

“He’s waking up!”

Landayan would eventually regain consciousness. Though the very first thing that Landayan would feel is the wetness of his cheek, and a tongue just off his peripheral vision. He would notice a three-headed dog though in a seemly adorable-like appearance.

Cerberus. In a happy mode the dog would pant as it continues to lick Landayan’s face like a pet to a master. Despite being much smaller than its initial appearance, the Prince would find the dog still bigger than himself. It would only take much before T-Bag would finally be able to rein in Cerberus to calm the dog down. Should the Prince observe his surroundings, he would find himself by the throne room once more, indicated by the empty vast room with part of a chair at atop a few steps. Just like Hades would say, the castle is being repaired even after he’s long gone, though halfway only halfway through. He would also notice the bident just off towards the side, left stuck onto the ground that is
Tartarus, the weapon retaining its edge, jagged on both ends of the weapon. Should Landayan recall being impaled by the weapon, he may attempt to check the injury but the wound would seem to be non-existent, as if Landayan was never stabbed in the first place. Not even a scar would remain. A mystery of what happen at the very end.

No matter, the bident would stood by the very chair which Hades sat upon, though the throne itself is in the process of being recreated. Should Landayan attempt to pick it up, he would find the weapon in strange familiarity, maybe the weapon has acknowledge Landayan as the King? After a short while, the bident may suddenly glow, transforming itself into another bident that would fit the Prince's power. Though the power to utilize soul might be what would be granted to Landayan, he would realize it is likely a small subset of what Hades' have, unlikely that the bident itself grant Hades' powers that he experienced, but for the Prince, this is perhaps one small manner in which he could interact with the souls of the dead that he otherwise does not have the capability of harming them beyond deterring them away.

BAM

Soon afterwards, a loud noise of a door being slammed could be heard roughly where the entrance is, after a couple of minutes however, a loud female voice could be heard, though with Landayan just merely regaining consciousness he may not fully process the origin of the voice, but the voice could be identified as Demeter. Should Landayan question the problem of these, T-Bag would quickly change his demeanour to a slightly more concerned expression, going as far as to quickly sigh, understanding the situation better than Landayan.

“Ah… I think she saw it. Not a good look, though well-deserved I suppose. It may come to a surprise for you however.”

That said, both T-Bag and Reynold wouldn’t answer further. Perhaps by checking the source of the scream, Landayan would likely understand why Demeter screamed out of a sudden, or if Landayan have not fully process it yet, the unknown voice.

The transformation is just whatever bident appearance you planned to have.

Gambit finally woke up after his fated battle against Hades, King of the Underworld. And as his consciousness tried to grasp the images before his very eyes, the Cerberus in what seemed to be pup form was licking his cheeks. Like a master to his best friend. The surroundings at this point are being repaired by the souls but what mattered more was Reynolds and T-Bag's appearances. The prince tried to reach out to T-Bag and his First Mate would quickly aid him to get up. Reynolds assisted as well. "Pretty. I thought you was a dead chap.", T-Bag remarked.

"Man, you got no heartbeat no pulse for 9 hours. Until these souls acted like shit and started ganging that metal junk.", Reynolds said, pointing at the souls and the bident that stood beside the throne.

"Ah, I see. So that's what happened here.", Gambit said as he finally got up. After that, he walked towards the throne and sat like a true king. He held the bident while the hellhound lay on the floor neath him. The cursed bident began to shift its form into something else. Having his Shinigami no Tekken Warhammer destroyed in battle, at will, he morphed the bident to the exact material and blueprint the old weapon was but he added two prongs that sprout on the edges of the hammerhead, flaring and glaring. He would call it, "Welcome home Hellfire. Muahahahahaha!"

He touched the very body he stabbed twice in battle, no scar, not even nothing. His clothing is in mint condition. When T-Bag asked him what happened. He tried to recall everything. He was about to speak but something came ramming in. "?!"

"What is happening, Tee?"
, he asked T-Bag. "Is something that matters outside this land? Don't tell me our boys are─"

The Prince would quickly recompose himself as T-Bag would recounted the situation happening, quickly standing up – the throne still broken but it would not deter Landayan from it. The Prince would sit on the throne, holding on to the bident as it would eventually transform to take on another appearance, a weapon similar to his hammer. The situation was… hazy, even Landayan himself wasn’t sure what happened at the end or even with how much has happening that his mind could fully process the events accurately. A very normal thing especially for him as he fell unconscious and only just woke up. Eventually, memories would slow return as his mind reverts to a more ‘active’ state, food and more rest would help to do. Before Landayan could continue further, he is quickly interrupted by the loud door slamming, he would find a somewhat vague answer about ‘she saw it’. Though T-Bag did not seem to answer much further. Instead he would open the door and speak.

“It’s better if you see it yourself.”

T-Bag would gesture towards Landayan out of the throne room, that should Landayan follow, presumably with Reynolds. They would only walk a little past the throne room to another corridor. From there Landayan would see Demeter sat down in a
defeated pose just by the entrance of a room, her arms placed on the floor as she sat in a graceful manner, her legs slightly stretched out towards the side. She did not speak further but should Landayan take a peek inside. He would hear the sounds of crunching.

Crunch… crunch…

Within the room, Persephone could be seen sitting down upon the floor, held on her hand... a burnt arm. Landayan would likely recall one of Hades’ arm at the very end of the fight was blown away by his attack. Perhaps all that is remained of Hades that wasn’t completely burnt away. And all that Landayan could see is her eating away the arm. A very soft voice whispered from Persephone, though it might take one to walked closer a little closer to hear it.

“Hehehe…. My dear Hades…. Please find comfort within me…. Let us be one.. together… hehehehe… One day… we shall rule over them together...!”

Persephone have… seem to gone mad. Highly obsessed with Hades to that extent in which she would cannibalize what would remains of her love. A strange and creepy behavior in which an Olympian of her stature to exhibit. But what came over her?

“Seems like Athena was right...”

Demeter spoke depressingly.

Landayan followed T-Bag's gesture while being assisted by Reynolds as he lumbered his way to the next room. As he took a peek inside, Demeter was seen on the ground in a difficult situation. How could she not be? For her own blood, mauling the very substance of his dreaded brother and husband to Persephone. Grinding what remained of Hades ─ an arm. Reynolds couldn't believe what he saw and immediately retched his stomach upside down. T-Bag, having lost his own family in the distant past couldn't help but empathise with the wicked display. Landayan's pupils grew thin as the white of his eyes grew wide. He turned to T-Bag, "How do you call something like this a well-deserved matter, Teodoro?"

That was the first time in years since Gambit called his best buddy using his birth name. T-Bag stuttered but only inside his head, he couldn't defend what he said. It was mayhaps Gambit's innate compassion for women that he was able to utter those words. He didn't mean any harm to his First Mate, to say the least.

He then overheard what the young lady was saying. That was the moment the prince narrowed his eyes, wondering what she meant by ruling them again together. He finally turned to Demeter who happened to tell something about another Olympian Goddess. "What you said about Athena."

He paused briefly, trying to get her attention. "Tell me everything you know."

Morrow held his bident firmly with both his hands as he stuck its butt-end against the ground.
