The temperature has started to freeze up, swarms of bats are now slowly descending upon their basic survival instincts, staying alive. No matter how much control Landayan has over the bats, outside of the exception of mind control the bats would soon forgo listening to their alpha – the Vampire wouldn’t be able to override the greatest instinct that all animals alike possess – survival. Unlike humans, they could not contemplate about death, loyalty only lies herein themselves – and their own lives. And that would be the logical result of anything short of mind control in the Prince’s case. Being all that is, a mammal rather than a construct of the Prince’s powers, their body would soon slow into a crawl the longer they stood in the freezing climate that dominated the skies of Serapis. Their bodies simply wouldn’t withstand it. Yet the Prince invoked his powers, his control over the bats tightened their loyalty to the Prince, and with another mass of bats would listened to the command of the Prince and in one massive swoop the bats sacrificed themselves for their lord, using their fragile bodies en masse free falling down onto the ground with Hades as their target. But with his powers, Hades isn’t easily dealt with. As soon as the bat swarms would hit the ground with their bodies. The King of Underworld simply dissipated into a purple mist.
Gambit is slowly tiring out. A consequence of his own powers. Unlike Hades, whom so far powered by souls – a war of attrition would only lead to Hades’ victory. Yet the Prince so far could only have to utilize this large amount of powers and concentration, it is the only meaningful answer to what Hades have at this point. The Prince would have to balance. Using such powerful techniques would only be effective and efficient if it would succeed in the Prince’s plans. Yet the Prince did not falter, he would bring out more weapons in response to Hades’ own. Filled with both fire and ice-like spears. They would soon rain down upon the ground, although with two attacks different from each other, it would hit each other continuously while some would successfully hit the ground but neither party would be hurt by it. It is a chaotic mess. Fire and Ice, a combination of which would ultimately create mist that would obscure the skies. But the Prince wasn’t done yet. Heavy rain would descend upon the skies with his artificial manipulation of the skies, lightning storms gathers at its peak, further turning the already weather… cold. It would only serve to worsen the conditions of his allies. The bats. But perhaps the Prince have forgone the conclusion of the inevitable and decided on a more physical approach. After all, he is physically stronger than Hades. There would be no question about it.
Twirling his weapons, the Prince further gather lightning into a singular source. From the skies, the Prince took off to. Reappearing very soon after the bat swarms back on the ground, Hades could effectively tell what the plan was, he has experienced something similar beforehand. In the skies, Landayan would feel the very cold striking him much like the bats experience. It is freezing. It is a cold that the Prince couldn’t understand how. But he felt it once before. It is cold, freezing even. But it is not just a mere temperature and ice. The cold creeps into the very being that is Landayan. It felt gross. Disgusting. Yet no matter the cause, the Prince would summon his strength, with is hammers in tow he swung down onto Hades. A thunderous bolt shoots down upon his call. Quickly, Hades started to gather souls around his hands, creating a greenish-flame of orb concentrating on itself. And he would fire the orb, imploding itself as the green orb releases into a powerful beam of Hellfire right at the bolt of lightning. Two forces of elements would clash, not giving an inch of ground against each other but soon the intensity of the two attacks would finally implode. Causing a powerful explosion that would likely blow back both combatants at once. More smoke would obscure the arena further, alongside mist.
“Lightning huh… I wonder how my brother feels when he delivers judgement…”
Hades spoke. Though not of any laugh nor sarcasm. It was completely serious. One can even detect a slight hint of jealousy from his tone. Appearing above in the skies. Hades raised his hand high up with his bident in tow, now conjured upon by the Olympian’s will, which in response lead to a mass of souls, this time flying straight into the storm that Landayan conjured. And in turn, the lightning storm intensified. Lightning gathers by the very weapon of Hades like a lightning rod. Dark purple in nature, a different coloration than what the Prince did. And the bident would transform into a purple light.
Once the bident fully charged, Hades would have unleashed his own attack – a mockery of Zeus and Landayan in a sense. The thunderous storm that Landayan created, twisted by the Olympian temporarily. He would throw the bident right down at the Prince, and whether or not the Prince would dodge to force the bident aground. A storm of lightning explosively erupts from the weapon. Causing the entire vicinity of the arena to be bombarded with purple-like thunderbolts with the bident as its epicentre. Electrifying the arena, Landayan while even in the skies could even be hit by it given its range.
The King of the Underworld delivered his attack like a bolt of judgement to the mortal coil, in his very own twisted fantasies.
