The soldiers quickly fell into formation to meet the remaining vice-admiral's request. A group formed around Shasuryu as he began moving away from the gathering of unfamiliar faces. The lizardman had a slight limp but it didn't seem to impact his haste too heavily.
Shisaryu i apologise for what occurred, but when you are on your way to the village can you inform my two underlings that i am here waiting. Also, I'll wait here alone when all these soldiers are gone - "
I'd pause to gulp then speak with some emotion behind my next words
" I'll stay right here seated and wait for your word or the elders if you want to join us to protect you and your people "
Shasuryu looked back over his shoulder for a moment and examined the Lunarian marine, he gave a hesitant nod of confirmation then turned back and began reluctantly trailblazing for the marines. Despite his injuries and the unconscious comrade he carried, Shasuryu moved through the familiar environment far faster than the marine soldiers. Lucifer could watch as they disappeared through the sweeping vines and outstretched roots, soon he was alone...
Lucifer was left with the growing buzz of insects digging away at the Bohen, only his thoughts keeping him company in this moment; but also too the icy blade that Zaryusu wielded.
Shasuryu moved quickly, he knew he could dispatch these marines; in fact he considered it the moment they were beyond the Lunarian's perception, but to kill these weaklings would only result in the outsiders to react. Two of the World Government soldiers were already in his village.
It wasn't long before Shasuryu returned to his village, with nothing out of the usual. With the sunlight, he knew most of the residents would be asleep; his first stop would be to check in with the elders and inform them of the situation...

Lucifer waited in the clearing, feeling the moisture in the air slowly returning to the humid surroundings that his attacks had caused. The grass beneath him was crisp and charred. Minutes turned into the shifting of an hour and with that the group of marines sent into the Swamp Kingdom returned and with nervous salutes and reports given to the vice-admiral, they returned to their ships and departed...
Soon later, Shiki and Musashi appeared through dense jungle into the clearing with the giant lizard that had attacked them and their commander waiting quietly...
Time continued to pass, until the sun shifted so far that the sky was beginning to darken. The seeds of doubt, regarding a response, were beginning to sprout. Lucifer made his vow clear and intended to keep it.
As night took hold of the sky once again, the shifting of branches could be heard: first emerged the elder that Lucifer had spoken with, Elder Tennso. Then behind him came Shasuryu and then the scrawnier, yellow-spotted lizardman from when Lucifer had first arrived (Sukyu).
Elder Tennso moved with conviction and carried a calming aura, the two soldiers of the Swamp Kingdom seemed immediately untrusting when taking in the Lunarian who was patiently waiting at this sight of violent combat. The elder approached and his guard swept up, keeping close to him at all times.
"The council of elders have discussed the matter of your proposal of protection heavily." He said looking to Shasuryu.
"...Shasuryu's story has inspired many to vote impulsively- My people do not trust you."
"However, the popular vote has been elected. The Swamp Kingdom requires protection, we will pledge ourselves to you and your offer." Elder Tennso said with a slight bow of his head. Shasuryu gave a hesitant kneel and Sukyu (not totally paying attention) was last to kneel.
