Cú Chulainn and Yamato clashed in a brutal fight to the death where Armament Haki, Ryuo and Conqueror’s Haki tore the battlefield apart, with Cú Chulainn evolving mid combat and both fighters pushing themselves into a bloody, relentless slug fest. Just as they unleashed their final attacks, they were blindsided by coordinated strikes from Namor, Dr Dennis Kurama, Grog, Roland and Valhir, triggering a massive shockwave that sent Cú Chulainn into the sea and left Yamato gravely wounded. In the chaos, Vergil emerged and executed Yamato, presenting her head and seizing control while spreading the lie that Cú Chulainn had never been present, declaring the nation fallen and placing it under his command.
