He stood silently for some time, seeing how serious Shaarib was, then General Lu Zhaoxun looked to a small man next to him, only lightly-armored, the man appeared to be a messenger of sorts. The general cleared his throat and spoke clearly for Shaarib to hear.I'm supposed to meet with his majesty soon, I want to look presentable..." He responded whilst his charcoal-pencil moved furiously across the page before bowing and taking off in the direction of city center, the sound of footfall getting quieter and quieter to Shaarib and the Chongqing soldier as the young man disappeared in the dark streets of the Azure City.
"You will not test my patience, Birdman, return to your embassy at once!" Voice rising slightly, hand tightening on the hilt of his blade. He had the authority to kill any law-breaker he deemed worthy of immediate execution, he had never exercised this power on a marine (even the ones that probably deserved it), but seeing such a high-ranking marine blatantly disrespect his land was beginning to strain the General's nerves.
With the forest so sickeningly close, this stubborn General being so determined to halt Shaarib in his tracks was hard to accept...
