The Backyard Pirates

Welcome aboard the crew of the Backyard Pirates!

Acaremus Weapon was prompted to leave his hometown when the World Government started hunting him down. After some daring adventures at sea, he came across his first mate @Handsome, and some other individuals, as well as his own ship, The Wild Party. It was from this basis that the Backyard Pirates were formed. With a focus on the freedom and comfort that a backyard offers, the Backyard Pirates are a rag-tag crew of individuals from many walks of life.

The Wild Party

The main ship of the Backyard Pirates is called the Wild Party. It has a howling wolf figurehead at the fore, and a garden near the aft. There is also a pool, and a stage in the midsection. The helm of the ship is located at the fore, and the captain's quarters are found below the deck of the fore. The inside of the ship contains the cannon rooms below deck, the living quarters below that, and the gym below the gardens, accessible from the giant-friendly hatch on the aft deck and the doors at the lower level hallway.

Fantasy Island had just become the base of operations for Acaremus Weapon, who was feeling uncertain of his role in life. During a stroll across the beach, he came across the mysterious shipwright, Willie. He brought the washed up man to the Beach House and made sure that he was alright.

When the shipwright came to, he insisted that Weapon was his saviour, and that he would build the man a ship to sail the world. Taking him up on the offer, the latter was eager to see what the former could come up with. Little did either know that the gathering of material would prove the most perilous adventure on the island yet.

As they searched the forest for trees with a sturdy enough wood for building a ship, they could only find one: the Great Tree, which was The Jungleman's Treehouse. Realising that relying on the island for materials was a bad idea, Weapon suggested they go back to shore. However, Willie climbed the tree. In his mind, The Jungleman would understand their needs.

The Jungleman introduced himself as Ook Ackack, Guardian of the Green and Brown. Willie introduced himself as Willie Vanilla Whitehall Williams-West, a Shipwright with one job: To build a ship for the man he was indebted to. Ook insisted that they use other materials because the tree of the island was sacred, and not to be used. Weapon agreed, but Willie objected. Ook fought and defeated Willie, prompting Weapon to stand up for his friend.

Weapon defeated Ook and said they would look elsewhere, but Ook, having felt the shame of defeat, decided that he owed the former a debt of gratitude. He performed a mystic ceremony that created a second tree - one they could use to build their ship. Willie worked on the ship for months until it was completed.
