Upon arriving ashore and landing on solid ground with his boots, Leo started to walk inland. However, it would not be long before he came upon some action. Sentomaru, a man of whom Leo knew vaguely but had never really interacted with, and his army of Pacifistas, were involved in a fight with what looked like a larger group of female Cyborgs. As soon as Leo was noticed, half of the female Cyborgs abandoned their battle, making their way toward Leo. When Leo saw this, he stopped, standing in place and waiting for the female Cyborgs to arrive. He did not seem to be worried about the incoming force whatsoever. A man characterized by his stoicism. Once the female Cyborgs arrived at Leo's location, they made their intentions known - they were here to stop him and prevent him from going further inland. The female Cyborgs started to charge up their attacks, energy gathering. Then, in unison, they all fired what looked like a concussive blast.

The barrage of concussive blasts flew through the air and toward Leo. But, likely to the shock of the female Cyborgs, Leo simply started to walk forward, and straight into the blasts. The blasts engulfed him all at once, blowing up his location and littering it with a dust cloud of obscurity.

Yes, we got him!
What a fool, he was frozen in fear!
He must be dead!
He could not even run away!
One would not be able to blame or fault the ladies if those were their thoughts as they saw their attacks engulf Leo. However, soon, they would be met with the reality of the situation. As the dust cloud started to fade, Leo's towering, muscular silhouette was seen, still walking forward. He came walking out of the dust cloud, just about unharmed, with only small scratches on his skin and clothing.

DPRs: 6. City Level

Leo's Durability: 101-119: 6. City Level + 2 (Cyborg armor) + 2 (120 defensive path invisible COA) = 10. Large Country Level

DPR 2 or more below durability (DPR is 4 below): Not very effective

Leo simply continued to walk forward, aiming to walk past the female Cyborgs. Stoic dominance. No action needed.

Stand down.

Leo said as he walked. His 3 Replica and 5 Chiron drones still followed him, hovering about him.

Sovereign War #5
(Alabasta / Ichimonji's Group)

@Sea @Infinity @Dream

Pathway of Fate Plaza @Infinity @Dream
The Pathway of Fate was an apt name for the plaza. The first important battle of the war would be fought here. Control of the roads towards Alubarna and Rainbase, vaulting points to Germa Kingdom, were up for grabs. Specialized units had been sent as a result, while the brunt of the forces stayed back to avoid major losses. Leading this battle for the Marines was Vice-Admiral Link. Leading this battle for the Vampires was Cletus D Sol. Both stroke fear into the other side with their entrances, paralyzing the plaza.

Yet, a Shadow took this opportunity to break the formation and buildings that held the roads. This opened up the roads towards Alubarna and Rainbase. The parties now rushed to secure the roads, led by Supernova Capone Bege and Rear Admiral Hina. Though both Marine and Vampire alike fought for position in those roads, the real brunt of the battle was to be decided by the clash between Vice-Admiral Link and Vampire Officer Cletus Sol. Everyone was near frozen waiting for the clash, for it would likely determine when they would push through. Instead, Marine forces moved behind Link. Vampire forces moved behind Cletus.

They would wait for the decisive battle to fully commit to the roads.

Vice-Admiral Link inquired, drawing the curiosity of his enemy. Indeed, this was no normal Marine. A Pirate turned Marine, Link had much paste with the Vampirates, even as far back as the iteration of the Silver Hairs. Likewise, Cletus had must history with the Marines, being one of the experiments that gave rise to the Seraphim.

Convictions would clash, with the Pathway of Fate Plaza on the line.

Skies Towards Alubarna @Sea
The Shadow of the Grim Reaper was the wildcard. His unsuspecting attack, rivaling that of the World Strongest Swordsman, cut the formations and buildings that held the plaza. This opened up the roads towards Alubarna and Rainbase. The parties now rushed to secure the roads, led by Supernova Capone Bege and Rear Admiral Hina. Though both Marine and Vampire alike fought for position, the real brunt of the battle was to be decided by the clash between Vice-Admiral Link and Vampire Officer Cletus Sol. Everyone was near frozen waiting for the clash, for it would likely determine when they would push through.

The Shadow moved on, flying over the road to Alubarna. The pterodactyl's flight slowed him to avoid the necessary bloodshed and go straight to the heart of Alabasta Kingdom, where the Royal Palace was situated. The flying Shadow would receive more gunfire and cannon fire, but none that truly threatened him. Before long, the wings took him past the Plaza and into the skies near Alubarna City.

A familiar orange red adorned the skies, similar to the fires in a village a decade prior. A sight that may bring him back to the last words he heard the Grim speak.

[La Spada] “I am a merciful captainah’. Prove yah’self useful and I may let her soul live.”
The skies were orange as the sun finished coming up, casting a beautiful canvas on the sky. A land so beautiful engulfed in was seemed like a tragedy to some. For even at that altitude, the smoke from the plaza rose. The road to Alubarna City was largely unhindered, instead adorned with flora and fauna of the desert. Giant Crabs, Wukongs, Camels, and even some spotted ducks could be seen among the road. As the man flew, a city could be seen in the horizon behind the rising sun.

A flying figure opposite of Akira would be painted in the canvas.

Those words came crisp and clear, carried by the gentle hot wind. "Not fighting for a specific someone, but rather protecting a specific thing". Soon, the two flying men, likely the only true flying types in the whole war, would close in on each other. Behind in the city, Akira could see droves of soldiers, cannons, traps, and all matter of Vampire and Alabastan fighters manning their posts. Both were ready for the Marines to arrive at Alabasta. The conflict would be great. The Palace, the tallest building in the distance, would bear a falcon statute that could be seen even from that distance. A statute that was hauntingly similar to the bird that appeared around Akira. An ode to Horus.

A white garment adorned the head of the being, similar to the white binds around its body. Feathers of brown made up the bird's body, with talons and a beak as powerful and striking as steel swords. The eyes were large and commanding. Yet, there was little violent aura from the man. Instead, as he spoke earlier, there seemed to be a check-up rather than one looking for a fight. In need to inquire to the one who rushed the war. Protecting a specific thing: Alabasta.

The Guardian of Alabasta: Pell the Falcon.

Even as the shockwave rushed forward and was blocked by the haki of the vice admiral, Larsi strode forwards, the cracked stones moving beneath his feet. He did not give the other marines a second thought as he approached them, his focus only on Shaarib himself, the only one there that could challenge him. If any of them would move to stop him or remain in his path he would push them aside with his juttes, not so much that they would die, but enough to throw them a few meters away against their fellow soldiers.
- " First thing first do not disrespect me, I am Justice itself ! "yelled the Vice-Admiral with a childish voice, he smiled before speaking again " I need to save Koby and them before leaving, with an arm that big, you can throw me to the execution platform right ?"
Tch. Larsi stopped a short distance away from Shaarib, just short of being within reach of the other man with his juttes. You seem to care for these men, or at least feel a responsibility to keep them safe.

One would hope harm would not come to them, correct?
Larsi swung out his right arm, holding one of his juttes just over the head of a group of the marines, threateningly. I do not have any desire to harm them, but should you move towards Gambit you will leave me with no choice.

I do not know why he has done what he has done, nor do I approve, but I will never let you move against him.
Larsi slid his left leg forward, breaking within range of Shaarib, swiftly raising and slamming his jutte down towards the marine. It was a simple strike, to test the man, nothing more. You will face me here, or leave this land.

Sovereign War – Alubarna #4
@Ichimonji

The boy flew overhead of the main battle – preferring to sabotage the Vampirates to further ensure chaos is seeded deeper into the city, or rather the island as a whole. With that in mind, the boy chose the road to Alubarna, allowing Capone Bege to handle the other city given his indiscriminate killing of both sides. Without further hesitation the boy made his way over to Alubarna, taking flight in which allowed him to avoid unnecessary fighting, though in this case the outcome would be the same, only that avoiding the fight to leave it to the marine would accrue greater casualties than if he cleared the way. As Akira flew over the desert road, gunfire and cannon fire continues to attempt to shoot down the flying enemy – but they would find neither to be of any success as Akira could easily fly out of their weapon range, allowing him to leave the plaza completely. The desert held the local fauna in rather large population, a strong indication of at least a country that is somewhat doing well, from an environmental perspective.

The sun casted a beautiful canvas as the city darkens from the shadows of the light, providing a scenery that most would consider a true beauty if not for the war, and perhaps if not for Akira. It would remind him of something tragic, but perhaps the touch of corruption or evil would not disappear, that once he would be the mere boy that lived in tragedy thanks to the Grim Reaper became the herald of destruction, that would bring about death to others – an irony not lost upon him. Within seconds of reminiscence, whispers of a masculine voice carried the wind into Akira’s ears, partly in thanks to the boy’s predatory senses. A bird – would fly towards Akira, yet it is not just any bird – it would not take long for Akira to notice the size become larger, and the aura of it would show to be someone else, not an animal. The boy did not respond. It would be obvious, that someone came to greet him. Closing onto the city are the defenders, likely not just Vampirates but the men of Alabasta themselves as well. After all, thanks to the Vampirates they too became embroiled in death. As the bird approached even closer to Akira, the figure became much easier to look at – a birdman or rather someone with a Zoan.

The boy maintained his composure, it is unlikely he would be shot at while their comrade is above in the skies with the enemy, although he wasn’t really in too much of a danger at the moment. Akira’s appearance is a mystery; they do not know who the boy is yet and that is an advantage of itself. He would allow the birdman to come closer to him, maintain caution regardless. Anything goes wrong and he has the element of surprise.

SHaarib chuckled at the thought, a pirate really hoped he was going to listen. The giant could kill them and it wouldn't bother Shaarib at all. They enlisted, they knew the ins and outs. It was a little crude to say but the hostages's lives mattered more to him. If the soldiers behind him, happened to die, they would die for the greater good; plain and simple. The Skypiean could hear the arrival of two other soldiers, he could see them without his mantra. The old cow in front of him was blocking the view.

The Vice-Admiral's brow rose immediately as he let out a deep sigh. Silver Hair seemed to be a collected man. He wasn't going to budge. The pirate disagreed with his partner but he had Gambit's back. Without any pause, Larsi slid his leg forward and slammed his jutte downward. The soldiers around began to yell frantically while some fainted, clearly not trusting their superior to stop the enormous jutte. Shaarib had to admit, the shadows that were cast upon them proved how big the weapon was. It weighed a lot too but the Vice-Admiral wasn't afraid. A pirate of Larsi's stature has more strength than that. When the jutte came close enough, Shaarib launched a back-handed punch with his right at it, sending it back to its owner with less panache. War was war and if SHaarib had to slay and freaking giant and his two aliens, he would.

Larsi's Attack is 120: 5. Town Level + 1 = 6. City Level
Shaarib Attack is 120: 5. Town Level + 3 = 8. Island Level
Attack is 2 DPR higher: Overwhelms the weaker attack but loses 3~DPR ==> 120: 5. Town Level
The mummy took out an odd-looking shell from one of the numerous pockets his coat had, a blue one. With a simple push at the center of it, the shell hummed and let out a stream of water. Shaarib with his free hand (right) seemed to control the flow and shaped it into a big ball. When the little buzz sound stopped, the Vice-Admiral punched the ball with his right hand. Water droplets left the ball and with the force of Shaarib's hit took the form of arrows, each strong enough to cause a dent in a ship. To add to that, the Skypiean had coated the ball with invisible haki. Larsi was going to survive it, but what about his crewmates ?

-" O Yabusame ! "
(literally meaning "Great Arrow Military Shark"): A larger version of a normal Yabusame. The water droplets act more like blunt cannonballs causing dents in the deck of a ship than like arrows.

[The Sovereign War] - [Post #4]
@Ichimonji @Sea @Infinity

The marines behind me were all confused yet wondered why the order was halting and the Pacifista's stood there each with their mouths opened and opened palms aimed at Vampirates. I'd stare at Cletus, noting a muscular build who was dark skinned, white colored eyebrows, and white hair that was shaved with a widows peak. His attire of black and crimson red zip-up hoodie, black cargo joggers with black and red colored sneakers.

My initial reaction was that whether this man was even worth 365 million, but then should he have toppled a pacifists maybe the 365 million was worth it. Though before i could ponder more i'd state i have questions and he'd responded.

"What answers do I owe a Marine? Especially during the middle of war?"
I'd scoff at his response then noting some rubble before me, especially one where i could take my seat then give off a smile before responding.

" I take Gambit hasn't taken his time to educate you Cletus. Let me educate you. Once upon a time back when the Silver Vampirates were known as Silver Hair Pirates, when Larsi was the captain. It was back in the heydays when Silver Hairs took the opportunity to claim Alabasta as their territory Gambit and I with other newcomers first joined. Sometime later i'd leave the crew, some incidents happening for both me and the Silver Hairs. I heard word of mouth that Larsi suffered defeat by the Blackbeard Pirates, in the process killing the former ex-vice captain and others. Just leaving Gambit alone who rebuilt the crew from the ground up and re-christined the Silver Hair Pirates to the Silver Vampirates. "

My speech was straightforward not dilly-dallying on any unnecessary aspects then raising myself back up.

" So where are Larsi and Gambit? ... Seeing how this island is constituted and your here. I'll have to force my way through you " ... sighing after then continuing on

" I wonder how a pirate who is worth 365 million can go up to a pirate that was once 722.8 million. "

Then clocking my arm back, building my resolve at that very moment instantly realising I'd have to make my way through Cletus to get to Larsi or Gambit which imbued my Busoshoku Haki to the point of using Ryou with a further addition of Advanced Haoshoku Haki. Lightening would zap around my fist as then bringing my fist forward aimed at Cletus.

" LET ME SHOW YOU THE MIGHT OF A VICE ADMIRAL, JUGON! "

Nothing but my passion, drive and resolve would overflow at this moment.
Jugon: This is the characters signature technique, its a technique that is similar to a shigan but as a punch. This is a very strong punch which is done at the same speed as Shigan, making it even more powerful.
[QUOTE="Haoshoku Haki"]

The Vampirates took their place behind of Cletus. Confusion, nervousness, and curiosity were all emotions that plagued the minds of the waiting pirates as they wondered why the Marines had suddenly stopped their advance to speak to their commander. The Lunarian raised brow and slightly relaxed his guard as the marine took a seat on a piece of rubble. He then cracked a smile before finally responding.

"I take Gambit hasn't taken his time to educate you Cletus. Let me educate you." He began in a blunt tone. "Once upon a time back when the Silver Vampirates were known as Silver Hair Pirates, when Larsi was the captain. Just leaving Gambit alone who rebuilt the crew from the ground up and re-christened the Silver Hair Pirates to the Silver Vampirates."

Cletus stood fairly still, taking in every word that was said. During his short time in the crew, he had heard stories about the founding members of the crew: "The Fallen Silvers". Who would've thought he would encounter a relic of the past here? The marine raised himself to his full height before continuing.

"So where are Larsi and Gambit? ... Seeing how this island is constituted and your here. I'll have to force my way through you. I wonder how a pirate who is worth 365 million can go up to a pirate that was once 722.8 million." The lunarian's eyes widened in shock as Link brought forward his fist. It emitted a power he had never felt before in his lifetime and at this distance he had only but one option to deal with the oncoming attack...

"LET ME SHOW YOU THE MIGHT OF A VICE ADMIRAL, JUGON! "

Imbuing them in layer of Busoshoku Haki and Ryou, Cletus crossed both of his arms to protect his upper body area. His inner forearm faced outwards, taking the form of a plus. This was the strongest guard in boxing: "The Cross Arm Block"! This tight guard protects the frontal area completely, making it capable of absorbing the heaviest of punches. However....

Cross-Arm Block
Requirements: 11 Mastery, 21 Durability.
The user crosses both of their arms to protect their upper-body area, with the inner forearm facing outward, absorbing even the heaviest attacks. The arms make either a form of a plus or an X. The plus is tighter and protects the frontal area more completely. The user can rush forward with the guard to get into their favoured range. Increases Durability by Mastery/5.
11-50 mastery: 2 turn cool down
51-80 mastery: Can move while using Cross-Arm Block. (2 turn cooldown) Not moving is 1 turn cooldown.
81-100 mastery: Using Cross-Arm Block while moving has a 1 turn cooldown. Standing still has no cooldown.

Cletus Durability:
120: 7. Mountain Level+2(Ryou)=9. Small Country Level (Cletus is not a Zoan, so caps at Mountain Level Durability]
Link DPR: 120: Town Level+DPR S+: 5+Ryou:+2+ Adv CoC: +1= Planet Level
Result: DPR 2 or more higher than dura: super effective

Not even the strongest guard in boxing could overcome the marine's overwhelming power. Without making physical contact, Link's jugon demolished Cletus' perfect guard, sending the lunarian flying at hypersonic speeds. "DUAAAAH!!! The Vampirates all wore looks of disbelief as their commander was destroyed right before their eyes, most jumping out of the way to avoid colliding with his careening body. Cletus coughed up blood as he crashed into what remained of the buildings that once hid the roads to Alubarna and Rainbase from view. This was the first blow he had taken during the war so far and it carried so much weight. He was dumbfounded.

"Incredible!! What the hell was that!?" He spat out, panting heavily. The damage had reached his legs, making it extremely difficult to stand. His arms, which had taken the brunt of the attack, were numb as he struggled to raise them. Still, he had to get up! He was the wall that stood between the enemy and their victory. What kind of Vampirate would he be if he keeled over here? KG would call him pathetic, especially after the training he went through. Taking a deep breath, his legs shook as he raised himself up from the ground.

"Fufufufufufu.... I admit. You pack a punch. Your strength surpasses that of King Shark of the Leviathan Pirates!" The lunarian took slow steps and deep breathes. The feeling began to return to his arms and legs. Eventually pain would replace numbness as he could feel the ligaments in his shoulder crying out in agony, like they were on the verge of tearing. Still Cletus persevered. Pain is just a small price to pay for victory. "Now, let me show YOU the might of Boxing!"

Raising his fists, Cletus rushed at Link. A Dash. This is a technique a boxer uses to close the distance between them and the opponent with a straight fast run, and Cletus' dashing speed was above world class. To the crew, it would look like he had teleported, as he would appear directly infront of the marine with his fists at eye level and the armpit tight. A guarding position. Imbuing his right arm with both Busoshoku Haki and Ryou, he threw it forward, crossing the body in a straight line aiming towards Link's face. In addition, he performed a step-in while twisting his hips and rotating his shoulder, giving the punch as much power as possible.

"Straight."

Dash
11 Mastery, 21 Movement Speed.
Dash is a basic boxing technique, where the boxer closes the distance between them and the opponent with a straight and fast run. The user's movement speed is increased by Mastery/5.

Cletus Movement Speed=101-119 Sub-realistic Speed+20(Dash)=120 Light Speed (Cletus is not a Zoan, so can't reach the 121 tier)

Straight
The Straight (ストレート, Sutorēto) is a powerful straight punch thrown with the rear hand. From a guarding position with fists at eye level and the armpit tight, the fist is thrown with the rear hand crossing the body in a straight line towards the target. In addition, doing a step-in while twisting the hips and rotating the shoulder gives the punch more power
41 Mastery, 41 Strength

@Sea @Infinity @Dream

Pathway of Fate Plaza @Infinity @Dream
The battle to determine the one who would win the Plaza began. Vice-Admiral Link and Cletus D. Sol stared each other down. Pleasantries, or unpleasantness, however one would look at it, were exchanged. The long history of a man who had been around the seas for decades revealed much of the backstory for Landayan Morrow and the Vampirates. The question ended up where Larsi and Gambit where. At the execution platform? Somewhere else? The Vice-Admiral would the his answers, even if he had to beat them out of the pirate.

The first real blow of the war came.

A punch that would be spoken about for months would be the first strike. A block broken, Cletus was sent reeling back against the fallen buildings, buried in rubble. In first instance, there was silence. The Vampirates could not believe what had just happened. The Marines were in equal shock, seeing such an outburst of power. Even Hina, manning one of the roads, stopped cold. She had to follow the Vice-Admiral's order to desist. Bege, not bearing any dog in the fight, simply watched, eyes slightly wide. He did not stop his charge: he'd be best serve continuing a path out of there to avoid fighting either of them.

Much to many people's surprise, positive or negative, the rubble shook. Cletus got up. The Vampirates cheered.
[Rear Admiral Hina] "Hina ready. Vice-Admiral Link, allow me to bind the pirate when you put him down. I have orders from Admiral Sasanuki..."
[Rear Admiral Hina] "Hostages are fair play. It will serve as a negotiating tactic with our prisoners of war in the Vampirate's hands. Hina serious."

Hina appeared behind Link and spoke lowly. A shocking revelation. Admiral Sasazuki was not playing around. The order was given to the more trustworthy capable Marines in the front lines. People Sazazuki trusted - this not to include Link. Any valuable Vampirates caught in the crosshairs, the order was to capture. A policy no doubt would cause dissent amidst some in the Marines, like Admiral Kuzan. Yet, Admiral Sasazuki would color dark to prevail. Rear Admiral Hina was the perfect person to capture an enemy.

Vice-Admiral Link had little time to ponder. Cletus dashed towards him. Hina seeped aside, ready and able at her superior's command to step in. The first battle of the East may may up being significant in the endgame.

Put up or shut up.

Skies Towards Alubarna @Sea
The cascading orange sky painted the winged figure in the distance as a demigod. That’s what it was in Egyptian mythology: the Falcon demigod who protected Alabasta. The symbolism was as deep in this desert land as there was sand. Two of the five flying Devil fruit types would meet in the War. On whose side, time would tell.

The falcon spread it’s wings and circled around the Pterodactyl, flying next to him at his right side, with enough distance to maneuver if need be. Akira could appreciate that the winged man wore white garments depicting the Kingdom of Alabasta. The winged falcon was hard to peg as it came to strength, for his intent was not violent at the moment.

The man spoke, his beak turning to Akira.

[Pell] “I am Pell, Guardian of Alabasta.”
[Pell] “One of the flying zoans. You are no normal man. No Marine garments. Did not attack on approach. Tell me, what is your business here? Alabasta is in a fight for its very future.”

Pell went straight to the point. Unlike Valley of Peace, there was no coded message. This was war. War where lines needed to be drawn. Pell asked where the oncomer’s line was. There was a sense of nobility from Pell, his words about protecting his homeland were soft and honest. There was no evil to be felt from the man.

There was still some time before they reached Alabasta. Would this turn into a friendly chat or the only fight in the skies of the war?

Sovereign War #5 – Road to Alubarna
@Ichimonji @Dream @Infinity

Pell arrived, appearing to perhaps stop Akira from reaching Alubarna – but soon the protector of Alabasta would instead circle around Akira before eventually moving to fly right beside him. Here, Pell would speak, asking for the boy’s intentions as he would contextualize Alabasta’s goals in the war at the same time. Perhaps Akira’s decision not to fight immediately cause Pell to pause momentarily, in the midst of confusion of wondering if Akira is here to help or not. Akira would lie. To manipulate Pell into letting closer to his goals before revealing his intention. After all, such is the way of the Spada Pirates. The boy turns his face towards Pell, though under the veil of his raid suit Pell would not be able to discern his emotions visually speaking, but if Pell have yet to realize. The raid suit serves Akira in his role as the Shadow, the terrifying force behind La Spada’s will. The
death knight-like suit creates an image of death. Yet the deathly stare of his raid suit can easily creep one out. Especially for the seemly lack of response from Akira. The boy would seem to be ready to manipulate Pell further into confusion.

But.

“… To destroy the Vampirates.”

And perhaps to even the surprise of Pell, Akira choose not to even attack Pell almost immediately after his declaration of war towards Alabasta, for they are the allies of the Silver Vampirates and instead continue flying straight towards Alubarna. Creepiness. The boy did not choose deceit. A strange stirring emotion and thought have surfaced quietly beneath the boy. One that is incomprehensible. While Akira is not necessarily completely truthfully in his intentions, the fact that he would fight both sides did not matter to the response he would give to Pell. For his line is clearly long been drawn.

The boy has changed. Something has changed.

But how would Pell react? The newcomer is clearly not on his side. Or rather from his own words. An importance of note is in Akira’s wording however.

[The Sovereign War] - [Post #5]
@Ichimonji @Sea @Infinity

DPR S+ = +5
Ryou = +2
Adv CoC = +1
Ryou was supposed to be a +3 here

My punch packed with ferocious resolve would collide with Cletus' crossed arms, and both attack and defensive actions would be imbued with Busoshoku Haki and Ryou. It was just a matter of whose resolve and will were greater and the answer would occur in a snap of a second, A huge gust of wind would resonate at the impact and then storm into the direction of who was about to budge in that moment.

Sparks of electricity from our emanating haki would spark then the reveal of Cletus being sent flying back would occur as i reeled my punch back in noting the after-effects of the attack as I'd pant then maintained my composure.

The marines that were situated behind me were shocked in disbelief at the power they bore witness too then cheered cheered in excitement roaring the words "Yeah take that" until it quited down with Cletus dragging himself out of rubble as the Vampirates then cheered. Then a puff of smoke as another spoke who i thought was positioned in the southern quadrant of the makeshift island, none other than Rear Admiral Hina.

My pupils moved towards the right taking note of her words and understanding her point as we could use the captured Cletus as a bargaining chip for a marine that was being held by Gambit of all people. Though from her words i was left a little out to the lurch of being informed of such a contingent.

My attention then focused on Cletus as he'd made snarky remark dashing into my direction for which my eyes glimmered in crimson.

" He's coming "

MasteryPrimary Path
1-100The user has increased reaction speed (Mastery x 0.1) within (Mastery x 0.4) meters of themselves when CoO is activated.
100 (Mastery) x 0.1 = 10 within 100 (Mastery) x 0.4 = 40 meters of themselves

My hands opened up revealing my palms as i spotted Cletus before me aiming a punch directly at me, I'd have enough time to coat my hands in Busoshoku Haki that would then shimmer further overflowing within me as a manifestation. I'd have enough time to conjure my other arm to reel back and then try to counter-attack the strike of Cletus with an open palm strike.

" OPEN BLOW "
Open Blow: The user charges forward and attacks with a palm strike. The hit packs enough force to knock the target back and cough out blood.

Sparks of electricity would protrude as our attacks were equal in power though the sand at the epicenter of our feet would fold away creating something reminiscent of a crater. My arm would snap back after the attack that would meet Cletus' strike, though without giving an inch of allowing Cletus time to even think. My calves tensed up as I'd vanish before him and then reappear right above him as my hands still coated in Busoshuku Haki.

The user's movement speed is increased by Mastery/5.
81-100 mastery: 1 turn cool down

Looking at the situation that was presented before me my mind wondered back when i was a Vampirate and a Devil where i was given free rein. Then upon joining the Marines I'd be chained up like a zoo animal, being used as a tamed berserker when a situation arose.

This brewed frustration within me ever since Delta Island i wasn't informed of the plan of Fujitora and now Akainu of all people. Two people who held higher positions than myself and were never trusted by those, i had to do it now show them and everyone i meant what i said. This would re-ignite what came earlier in my Jugon as sparks became denser around my fist as i unleashed it right above Cletus, though as soon as they sparked back they vanished.

Larsi had no expectation that his attack would land on his foe, so he was hardly surprised when his attack was repelled by a stronger force, pushed back towards his body. It was however an attack so weak he simply stopped it by tensing the muscles in his arm, equalizing the power with that of his innate strength. Standing there unmoved by the counterattack, Larsi loomed over Shaarib as the marine pulled out an object that closely resembled a shell. Pushing down at the center of the object, the vice admiral seemed to pull out large amounts of water, making it flow through the air as if he was a snake charmer guiding a snake.

Fishman karate, eh? Larsi said, remarking on the fighting style he recognized. It was a surprise and not something he was familiar with, but it didn't overly worry him. Especially since he wasn't a devil fruit user himself. For a short moment he turned his head sideways, shouting back at the pirates he had left at the other end of the open area, having jumped towards the marines to engage in combat. You guys get out of here, except for the few that are trying to contact Gambit.

Even as he was speaking he raised his jutte that he had used to attack Shaarib out to the side, mirroring that of his other. Both now extended outwards like thin metal wings from the grips of the pirate's hands. Before him the Vice Admiral finished his quick prepwork, shooting the water forwards as a barrage of watery projectiles. They aimed both towards Larsi and the weaker pirates, an annoyance to the former, deadly to the latter.

Just as the water left Shaarib's fingertips, Larsi swung his juttes forward horizontally. Both seemed to warp the air and trail heat as they converged, slamming into one another, pointed directly towards his foe. Then, as if a bomb was set off, the power and speed of his strike unleashed a fiery explosion, erupting outwards, traveling forwards and to the sides. Crashing into the water, the flames were extinguished, but that was only a sideeffect of his more immediately deadly attack. Overpowering the water and pushing it aside, the partially weaker attack still carried enough force to kill most that it encountered. Standing amidst the group of marines, they would all likely perish from the attack, the force spreading outwards to blast nearly all of them. Shaarib was of course another matter, but he too would have to defend himself against this. The pirates behind Larsi were protected by his attack, yet also far enough away that they weren't in any immediate danger.

Sabaton: Slamming both juttes together with great force, the user ignites their juttes, expelling a wave of fiery destruction all around them, blasting and burning any that may be nearby.

Shaarib, like predicted, wasn't surprised. Larsi stopped his Jutte without much effort, he just had to flex his muscles. The Skypiean was impressed when the giant swung both his weapons together, the impact realizing an explosion. Our hero was pissed, he had wanted to be discreet and found himself in front of Silver Hair Larsi. Instead of fighting without worries, Shaarib was being used as a shield. He had to take into account the soldiers behind him. If he decided to protect himself, Larsi's attack would destroy many of them. This was a lot of pressure. Shaarib was the vanguard, he wanted to make the breakthrough to ease the invasion. The Vice-Admiral looked at the soldiers behind him and went to work. His right hand punched the ball of water and it exploded fully. The splashes turning into sharks, each of them swimming towards the blast. Ready to protect the soldiers the best they could. The clash came and Shaarib was able to protect the majority of his soldiers. He had lost half of the water he had in his dial for naught. The blast would probably catch the ones beyond the 30 meters mark. The Vice-Admiral winced, if only he had his devil fruit powers...

- " Shin Murasame !"

An AOE version of Murasame in which, you would have more Sharks and instead of going towards 1, they would target the enemy in the vicinity

Destructive Potency Rank: S ==> 120: 5. Town Level + 4(S) + 3(CoA) ==> 12. Large Continent Level = Equal to the blast

If Larsi wanted a fight, now he had one, first they would need to be free of Shaarib squared his shoulders and black lighting began to crackle around him. His red eyes started to glow for a moment before he unleashed his will on the pirates, trying to break them. A malicious wave went forward, ready to swallow them whole. He hoped Larsi would be able to at the very least, resist it.

The battle to determine who advances on the East of the Sovereign was to be decided between two of the strongest officers on both sides. Cletus threw his right arm forward, crossing his body in a straight line aiming a fist that would hit like a truck towards Link's face. As he performed a step-in while twisting his hips and rotating his shoulder, to give his punch as much power as possible, Link would counter with an attack of his own. Cletus's right straight had been met with an open palm strike.

The two attacks collided, causing sparks of electricity to flow in all directions!

Equal in power, the sand at their feet folded away forming the shape of a shallow crater. Cletus' arm would snap back after the clash. The marine was a worthy adversary indeed. He knew he couldn't let up. Returning to a guarding position with his arms raised, Cletus intended to follow up his straight with a series of jabs. He had to keep up his rhythm, who knows when the Marine would decide to use that strange power again? Unfortunately, the marine would disappear right before his eyes in an instant. The lunarian's eyes flashed with a crimson glow as Link reappeared above him.

Mastery:1-100 The user has increased reaction speed (Mastery x 0.1) within (Mastery x 0.4) meters of themselves when CoO is activated.

100 (Mastery) x 0.2 = 20 within 100 (Mastery) x 0.1 = 10 meters of themselves.

"From above?"

The Vice Admiral rained down a series of air projectiles from up above, briming with Busoshoku Haki! The tall lunarian would plant his feet into the ground before answering in kind.

"Nice try! Now, Hedgehog!"

The Hedgehog. A rapid barrage of punches at his opponent that pricks them over and over again. A master practitioner has good control of these punches, and can weave them through the tiny openings of his opponents' guard. The punches are all normally aimed at the head, but could be effective to countering other rapid fire attacks. He unleashed the Hedgehog at Link's SōtsuJugon, with fists brimmed with Busoshoku Haki.

Hedgehog
The user throws a rapid barrage of punches at his opponent that pricks them over and over again. The damage adds up because the punches rattle the opponent's brain, slowly pulling them out of consciousness. It's a very powerful combination, usually aimed to not stop until the opponent has fallen. The punches are all aimed at the head. With good control of these punches, and the user can weave them through the tiny openings of his opponents' guard.

Again, the two would display a showing of equal power. The rapid fire attacks colliding resulting in protruding outwards, blowing anyone to close backwards. Cletus' arms moved nonstop, ensuring the every projectile was dealt with. He had to win. For the crew. For Gambit! Not intending the give Link any room to breathe after the Hedgehog, he cocked back his right fist. Black sparks spilled like before, as he imbued it with Busoshoku Haki and Ryou. The Vampirate brought his fist forward, delivering a massively powerful shockwave towards the marine at close range.

(Alabasta / Ichimonji's Group)

@Sea @Infinity @Dream

Pathway of Fate Plaza @Dream @Infinity
Put up or shut up. The two factions made their stand in Fate Plaza. The specialized group sent to conquer the path towards the cities were frozen, waiting on the one battle to determine who would advance. Cletus Sol and Vice-Admiral Link faced off in battle. The gourds too din awe, some cheering, some flabbergasted, others nervous. Whatever the reaction, the plaza stood still and watched. All but one.

Capone Bege continued his charge. He had no dog in the fight. In fact, the distraction benefitted him. Capone and his wife were able to wrestle control while the any were observing. The Road to Alberta was clear. The Supernova took off towards Albubarna City, his literal army prepped and ready. A road where the skies were already engulfed in battle.

[Marine] "Get away! Give them a wide berth or you'll get killed!

Both the Vampirates and the Marines began to inch away from the fight, as the thunderous clash lay waste to the plaza. Some were sent flying, others knocked out, others held. The groups would stay behind their champions with sufficient space. Hina, however, backed up by PX-Z, stayed close. Her makeshift shield of prison and pacifists allowed her to stay ready when called.

Meanwhile, up in one of the destroyed buildings, a figure with a camera set up, looming over the battle.

Skies Towards Alubarna @Sea
The Guardian of Alabasta took to the skies and intercepted the Shadow the approached by air. As two of the five flying zoans, it was truly a sight. The lack of attack or hostility, other than his devilish appearance, confounded the falcon. Pell, in turn, would instead introduce himself and gander at the man's intentions. The preparations were done to welcome the World Government in Alubarna City by ground. An air attack, however, was unprecedented. The Guardian himself took the task and questioned the man. Bountied or not, his clouded appearance shielded him from recognition. Yet, those words may break any doubt of the man's intentions.

To destroy the Vampirates.

The Guardian Pell widened his eyes. His words were specific. Alabasta Kingdom was not mentioned, only the Vampirates. A conundrum. Pell could not feel the man's power. A gamble to approach. Yet, Alabasta Kingdom flew under the Vampirate's flag. If they went down, what would happen to the sandy kingdom. Pell took a second, but his retort was stalwart.
[Pell] “I see. Then, you threaten my homeland. While I am disgusted with the Vampirates for the position they have put Alabasta in, our kingdom's fate is intertwined with the Vampirates in this war. I shall not see it in ruin. I will do my duty and guard Alabasta from anyone.”

Pell sharpened his claws, his body growing in size. A full bird zoan now projected, rising in both speed and strength. With a fashionable turn, Pell began flying around Akira in circles. With his feather wings, different from those of flesh, the air currents began to twist and turn. Akira had much strength, but like on land, he needed air to fly. The air began to contort, forming twisters around Akira, aiming to disorient his flight path. Weapons propped up from Pell's body, unfired. His body waved through the air currents as if it was his own. Importantly, the sun refracted off Pell’s body, his garments worn with reflective properties, the winds sweeping the reflections.

While not a novel attack, Pell's actions were clear: stray the man from his path. Should Akira not do anything, he'd be turned back towards the plaza by the wind.

Akira’s words are very direct. His intentions were laid bare to Pell, though his choice of words made it very clear that Akira did not intend to destroy Alabasta, or rather in the sense of destruction. However, should he be left no choice then the boy would not hesitate to destroy his kingdom. Pell however, upon hearing his words would be shocked but after a moment of hesitation the man would gather his resolve in his words and duties. Pell would not allow Akira through, for the fate of Alabasta is now closely tied to the fate of the Vampirates, their downfall would mean the sandy kingdom’s own. They were enemies, and Akira expected no less.

Pell would transform, completely turning into a large falcon as he started to fly around Akira in circles at higher speed, forming twisters around Akira as the wind contorts to the command of Pell. While Akira has power, he is still subjected to flight and air would force the boy back eventually. A powerful wind to send Akira back from where he came from. The boy however, undeterred would stop flying forward and instead hover at his current position but slightly being forced back by the winds. Faced with twisters surrounding him the boy have no choice but to deal with Pell, for he now stands as an obstacle to Akira’s objectives.

“Then perhaps your duty was never to have allowed Alabasta to fall to the Vampirates.”

The boy retorts. A powerful swing of Akira’s bladed wing sends an air blade towards the front where the twisters now blocks Akira’s path forward. Twisters for what they are, are simply wind. Even simple disruptions can
break the twisters especially of someone like Akira’s calibre in which the air blade would allow him to break some of the twisters and force the air to settle. And while Pell could continue doing it, he would find a casual swing of Akira’s wings far more dangerous to contend with. Because Pell isn’t the only one with the capability to twist and contort the air and wind around them.

The boy is actively discouraging Pell.

“You have the luxury of a homeland still standing. So I’ll give you, Alabasta a chance that most do not even have.”

A hint of malice and empathy. But nonetheless a firm response to Pell.

“Leave the war or surrender to me. If you do, the people of Alabasta may very well live to fight another day. Otherwise...”

A powerful
will is exerted upon Pell, aimed to intimidate and pressure Pell – Akira’s words isn’t a bluff. The powerful Shadow understands the situation well, thus why he offered a chance to Pell, something that he did not have.

“The city will run red in the blood of both Vampirates and your people as your kingdom is torn asunder.”

Clamour shrouded the battlefield shortly after the 10 female cyborgs fired their beams.

"Yes, we got him!"
"What a fool, he was frozen in fear!"
"He must be dead!"
"He could not even run away! "

Vampirates around the area quickly rejoiced as soon as they saw Burns concealed in the bags of dirt. But not before long till their triumph would subside.

"Stand Down..."

Those couple of words were retorted by the former Vice-Admiral towards the group of cyborgs. The 10 of them stanced backwards, flagger basted with what they just heard. The man was full of conviction but for some reason, many thoughts linger in his eyes. Women could feel. But for a moment, they were all scared by his mere presence. Not so many men would walk the park towards the elite soldiers of the Silver Vampirates!

"N- No!"

"Vice-Admiral Burns!"

"We cannot simply allow you to step into this war."

"Ladies!"
, said Pirena, one of the 10. "Let's do a coordinated attack. We may not be able to defeat this monster but we have to stop him as long as we can to prevent him from going into the execution hall!"

"Now!"

Pirena roared and so did the others. Three of them unloosed their mechanical arms in an attempt to grab their sole opponent while digging the mechanical claws deep into his body. If all of those were a success, they would hold him on the ground so the others would find their respective shots. "IRON CLAW!"
Mountain Level

Following that attack, another 3 cyborgs from a distance flew in close proximity before unleashing their whips and started ramming the body of the target had he kept his stance. "Vorpal Shivers!"

Finally, the remaining four flew above Burns and in an effort to combine their energy beams to make a stronger version of it, they placed all their barrels in focus target before emitting a beam of particles four metres above him. The combined energy generated an even more concentrated projectile of bluish energy akin to those lighting strikes from the Isle of Raijin. "VIKTORIA'S SECRET BEAM!"

The former chief of the Pirate crew now faced against the Hero of the Pirate Festival. After a few words they exchanged, the battle was on. Larsi's vindication pushed him to rally on the frontlines, not repeating the same mistakes he had in the past. Shaarib on the other hand vowed to rescue the abducted heroes of the marines, not wasting the lives of the future of the Navy. Both are ruled by honour and dedication to their sworn tribe. Both capitalised on the sheer strength they brought into this onslaught Landayan Morrow has created.

Following the orders of the Vice-Admiral, his comrades took a back, distancing themselves from what was coming up. Larsi did the same to protect them from his own assault. Carrying a twin jutte, he swung it horizontally before its flare overpowered the army of water arrows coming off his bare hands with the help of a strange weapon. The remnants of the giant's attack would pursue the enemy marines but Shaarib, the hero he always was would punish this attack in order to protect his comrades, succeeding in the process.

Little did he know, when Larsi ordered many others to back out, the twin muscles of Frieza and Janemba flew using their respective raid suits and targeted the lowly fodders with their Sparking Red Ability granted by Judge Vinsmoke himself. "Sparking Red!"

They roared before releasing several energy beams from their hands in quick succession, piercing through the marines if undefended by Shaarib ─ hitting multiple targets close together at once.

I think I'll have to skip you for now and pull out Lacroix for a moment. He would also land an auto-hit but nothing destructive on you, mate.

Vice-Admiral Lacroix landed his fist towards the body of the tiger mink sending it flying metres back. The marine then yelled at the pirates, "Is there no one else!?"

The pirates gripped their weapons tightly and ran towards the Vice-Admirals but dozens of them fell to his single swing of sword and even broke the walls connecting the Colosseum and the bridge.

He was this close to marching forward with his troop before he felt something ominous many yards back. As soon as this happened, many more pirates seemed to have foamed their mouths and fell one after the other. They hear loud thuds each and every time their bodies meet the ground. "King's Haki?", he uttered under his breath but poking the tip of his katana on the ground supporting him.

Janemba and Frieza also stopped massacring many marines as soon as they felt this willpower and almost lost consciousness during the first wave it. "Such power!", Janemba remarked before his knees fell to the ground along with many others. "Damn you...", Frieza said before following his brother.

The two men ordered by Larsi to notify the Chief were also knocked out, leaving the fact of Larsi arriving at the scene a mystery to Gambit for the time being. The Colosseum and the 500 metres immediately surrounding this area have now been cleared with the sheer willpower of this Vice-Admiral. And whilst Janemba and Frieza were able to knock out many of the enemies, Larsi stood alone against a fleet of the enemy!

Leo walked out of the smoke and cinders left behind by the Cyborg ladies' attacks, unharmed. A walking goliath, Leo's muscular, towering, and now metal fortified body was a fortress that only the strongest could attempt to breach. The ladies did not have the firepower. Demanding that they stood down, Leo stared at the opposition, but they did not comply. Instead, they decided to combine their efforts further and keep Leo from advancing. Three of the ladies unloosened their arms, shooting them out like rockets and grabbing Leo from a distance. Their metallic claws attempted to dig into Leo's body, but his metallic fortification, coupled with invisible Busou-shoku no Haki, prevented the claws from piercing. Whether the ladies were actually successfully keeping his body hunkered down, remained to be seen for now. Three of the other ladies closed in, swinging their whips and attacking Leo from all directions. However, the whips merely bounced off of his fortified body, incapable of drawing blood.

DPRs: 7. Mountain Level

Leo's Durability: 101-119: 6. City Level + 2 (Cyborg armor) + 2 (120 defensive path invisible COA) = 10. Large Country Level

DPR 2 or more below durability: Not very effective

As all of the other ones were attempting to hold Leo in place, the remaining four Cyborg ladies managed to take up to the air, combining their efforts for a four pronged energy beam.

The three Cyborg ladies that had been holding Leo's limbs down, would find his right arm had disappeared. A modified Battle Smasher, it was made of Nano Armor - Leo had disintegrated his Battle Smasher, escaping their grip, and then reformed it, his arm now pointing up toward the four ladies. From the palm of his opened right hand, Leo fired a powerful explosive shell. The explosive shell would rocket through the air and collide head on with the incoming descending beam, an explosion rocking the air above Leo.

120: 5. Town Level + S:+4 = 9. Small Country Level

Time was of the essence, and Leo would not waste it fighting this battle. His pupils suddenly turned red and the air around him turned heavy. From Leo, spreading outward, a powerful burst of Hao-shoku no Haki erupted. The wave of Hao-shoku no Haki swept over the ten Cyborg ladies. All of them would find their spirits completely overwhelmed, and they would lose consciousness.

Leo walked off, proceeding further inland.

Devil's Voice: Knockout power up to level 70.

[The Sovereign War] - [Post #6]
@Ichimonji @Sea @Infinity

Ideologies collided with every force of the barrage of punches, each fist cladded with busoshuki haki. Just a few seconds before my barrage, something would catch my attention but didn't brew on the matter until i had landed back down. The words that Cletus sprouted were the following:
"From above?"
Just those words i was quick to analyse the matter that Cletus was utilising the same Kenbunshoku Haki as myself, using the branch of Precognition. Our punches collided with streams of lightning protruding with epicentre-like aerial shockwaves then vanishing as another punch would do the same until we both realised we were equal in might. However, that was far from the truth, with my recently awoken new power I learned to displace it to another function such as my limb or object like a weapon. Which i early showcased that the Marines still had some worthy soldiers that weren't the Admirals.

Ever since the incident of Delta Island, i was shackled yet something about the fight against Douglas Bullet something had awakened. I would note something new when i woke up, i was capable of utilising Haoshoku Haki.

A rare trait of those typically in the Marines.

I'd bemuse to myself that Cletus was playing the very card I'd use just moments earlier by not allowing me to breathe. Some scuffs here and there were present as my fists still coated with Busoshoku Haki hardening began to emit another aura to show my willpower as the power of Ryou blossomed from the thrill of the battle.

" Cletus the Copycat, huh? "

" Now allow me to show you a real IMPACT! "

A marine watching would note that i was never one who was prominent in hand-to-hand combat, but my trade lay elsewhere and that was within swordsmanship.

[Random Marine Soldier 1]: " Am i seeing this but isn't Link's specialty within Swordsmanship and not hand-to-hand martial arts "

With another marine also commented as he finished it off with a trickle of sweat swimming down his face as others hearing this appeared gobsmacked.

[Random Marine Soldier 2]: " Doesn't he have the graded sword, Enma? ... and yet he's capable of such destructive power ... "

My fist tightened as i clocked it back then swung as i roared the following words

" GALAXY IMPACT! "

Link Str = 120 = Town Level
Galaxy Impact (拳骨衝突ギャラクシーインパクト, Gyarakushī Inpakuto, literally meaning "Fist Collision"): The user infuses their fist with Busoshoku and Haoshoku Haki and then delivers a massively powerful punch with shockwaves that encompass a large radius. and then delivers a massively powerful punch with shockwaves that encompass a large radius.
Rank: S+, 3x AoE multiplier
Requires: 101 strength, 120 COA (offensive path), advanced CoC
DPR S+ = +5
Ryou = +3
Total DPR = Moon Level

Result = Equal DPR: Attacks cancel each other out, though the area around the clash may still take damage.

The impact of the clash of two impacts would be destructive as it charred the terrain where the two impacts collided. The ground beneath shook ferociously around sending tremors that would be sent out to the seas. The Marines all trembled as many would get blasted backward with a huge gust of wind mixed with dirt and particles of sand that would resonate outwards as streams of lightning would spark and fizzle.

Larsi straightened his back after his weapons slammed together, releasing a fiery blast that dimmed in the face of the water but still repelled the barrage. He had half expected his foe to let all the poor marines he had put in the crossfire perish, but wasn't surprised to see Cross hastily summon yet another load of water from his dial. The giant stood firm as the vice admiral formed the liquid into sharks that seemed to swim through the air towards his attack. Weakened as it was, Larsi's attack could not withstand the second attack from Shaarib. Despite his previous words, the marine had worked overtime to save many of the few weaklings he surrounded himself with, and now the remnants of the sharks sought Larsi himself.

Silver Hair became a silver blur as he stepped forward, striking rapidly with only one of his juttes, It was a technique generally meant to strike the head of an opponent, but given his size he found the technique perfect to deal with these sharks. Each one of the water creations were struck by his blackened weapon, dispersing before his casual swings. As he did so, his other hand put away his other jutte, hanging it on his back where it belonged.

So much for disregarding your men, eh? Larsi chuckled, putting his free hand inside his jacket. Just then multiple things happened. Two of the people he had ordered back burst into motion, attacking the marines, while Shaarib himself unleashed a burst of conquerors haki. Neither was of any relevance to Larsi himself, yet he was not happy with the two of them disregarding his order. Feeling the strength of his foe's spirit wash over him, he was doubtful they would be able to withstand it as they were. The fools had just put themselves back in danger.

Shaking his head Larsi pulled his free hand out of his jacket, holding a single coin. Darker than usual, the coin gave off a strange glow. Placing it on his thumb the pirate flicked the money through the air towards Shaarib. It would be aimed perfectly towards Shaarib's torso so he could catch it easily, and should he grab it, the vice admiral would see it was worth a whole 1000 beri.
Here, you can take this and leave this place in one piece. I'll even let you take these dead weights.

Your attack is 3 above mine actually after the first clash, so yours only loses 2 strength

Slapshock: The user dashes forth the opponent and lands a 4 solid left and right bitch slaps to the opponent’s face using the Jutte.
- DPR B, requires 41 Strength, 41 MA Mastery

120: 5. Town Level + 2(B) + 3(CoA) = 10. Large Country Level - same as yours after the previous clash

There was something missing in the world. A giant shaped hole in reality. And a pulverized patch of ground where the giant once stood.
"Watch out behind you" came a warning, but it was "Too late!".
The impossible weight of an accelerated giant was bearing down on him from above, clad in Haki to spite even the last Newtonian law of motion.
Immediately Yasashí's knees became weak, not out of cowardice but training and harsh conditioning. 'A blade of grass in the wind' could survive the strongest winds that would have felled the most rigid of trees. But what could a blade of grass do against the fist of a giant?

Liquid dodge (31 Mastery, 31 Reaction, 31 Musicianship)
The user mitigates the damage from an attack he can't dodge by bending his body in the direction the attack would push him.
+Mastery/5 Reaction, 1 turn cooldown
Useless against very big attacks (like bigger than his entire body) and AoE attacks
As it turned out, nothing. Lacroix landed a clean hit, his attack coming from above and being way too big for Yasashí to dodge in such short time. Even his attempt to move into the direction the attack would push him to mitigate some damage was null, as the giant downwards fist slammed him onto the busted pavement and sent him flying, scraping the ground multiple times like a skipping stone.
His ragdoll tumble terminated after three skips, his nice green robes torn to shreds in places. Yasashí himself was an even starker sight. The tumble had tousled his carefully laid fur, revealing that he was not in fact a black tiger with red stripes but a red tiger with black stripes, making it hard to discern from a distance what was genuine blood and what was newly revealed red fur.
Lacroix has 45 Armament Haki, so he only gets +1 from Hardening.
Strength 95 -> 3. Large Building Level
Jugon -> DPR B (+2)

-> 6. City Level

Yasashís durability: 61 -> 4. City Block Level

2 above durability -> Super effective
Ouch
Red blood dripped from Yasashís shoulder, where road rash had left a bloody area of exposed flesh, onto his hands, staining the already red fur in its stark biological insistence. There was blood on his hands again. At least it was his own this time, yet it still caused some unkind memories to surface. He drew a rattling breath - he must have broken a rib - and adressed the giant once more, not bothering to stand up yet:
"Giant-san, I have no intention to be your enemy."
His voice, now even weaker, was probably not going to reach anyone, especially since the giant was now engaging the vampirates guarding the bridge, but he had to try. Yasashí checked the pocket sewn into the hem of his robe for the papers he prepared, to see if they were still there. His bloodstained fingers found their prize, and he pulled them out. He had written a speech to give to Lord Gambit and the top officials of the Revolutionary Army, to appeal to them to end this war.
With his injuries it was highly unlikely he´d make it to the castle without help, so he strained his bloodfilled lungs as much as he could, to gain allies for his cause on the chaotic battlefield:
"I did not come here to fight. I simply wish for this war to stop. I cannot turn the tides of this war, I am not a great fighter. If i am to have any effect i need to get into the castle. But i cannot..."
But his feeble attempt at a desperate plea was cut short when all of a sudden a wave of dread came rolling in from the colliseum. An overwhelming aura that made his ears rumble. Such terrifying power. Was there any hope for Yasashí to accomplish anything in the face of powers like that?
"...I cannot. I... overestimated..."
And with that his vision faded, and Yasashí lost consciousness, collapsing from his half sitting position into a growing pool of his own blood.
