Cletus brought his fist forward, preparing to deliver a massively powerful shockwave at the marine at close range! He had to win. There was no way he could lose here.
"Cletus the Copycat, huh? Now allow me to show you a real IMPACT!" Link tightened his fist, intending to meet the lunarians attack, yet again from head on. The Marine was determined and had no intentions of backing down here. Fists brimmed with the peaks of the individuals Haki as they swung, roaring out the names of their respective attacks. A clash of wills. A collision between Silver Pirates past and present.
"GALAXY IMPACT!" "Now, Raging Impact!"
The deafening impact of the two attacks would prove to be massively destructive as it burned the terrain where the two impacts met. The ground beneath them vibrated intensely as tremors travelled through the eastern portion of the sovereign. Marines and Vampirates alike were blasted backwards as wind, dust and sand erupted from the epicenter, resonating outwards as streams of lightning sparked and fizzled. As the dust cleared, Cletus and Link could be seen at the center of a wide spanning crater. The Lunarian panted heavily, the ligaments in his arm still torn and in pained from blocking the marine's attack from before. He tried his best to ignore it, though was definitely regretting not evading it instead.
"Huff...huff...You even matched that. You're a monster for sure!" Cletus said amazed. "I can't be reckless."
He activated his Kenbunshoku Haki, and waited, taking a more defensive strategy. He would wait and counterattack the marine.
Pathway of Fate Plaza @Infinity@Dream
The battle to decide who would take control of the plaza was well underway. Cletus and Link engaged in a fiercely contested battle, captivating everyone else as spectators. Both the Vampirates and the Marines maintained their positions behind their respective champions, their eyes fixed on the spectacle. The warriors exchanged blows, causing the ground to tremble under the impact. The final clash, infused with Conqueror's Haki, sent shockwaves throughout the Plaza, with effects more profound than anticipated. This was not just a clash; it was the decisive battle fought by kings.
The confrontation generated maroon lightning that overtook the Plaza. Nearly a hundred soldiers felt their bodies tremble, their willpower shattered. The sound of dozens of bodies hitting the ground became the chorus to the men's struggle, bending a knee to the wills exchanged. From the many who had initially participated, only a few remained. Roughly half a dozen warriors on each side stood on their feet, while the rest had been defeated. The Plaza had been cleared.
Somewhere far away, a white-haired figure bit his cigar, sensing the intensity of the clash.
[Smoker] "I see Kong's experiment is going all out. That bastard better control himself this time. Tashigi! Get a move on! Admiral Kuzan was clear on his orders!"
[Tashigi] "Yes, sir!"
Back at the Plaza, Capone Bege had successfully escaped after conquering the road. The member of the Worst Generation and his wife were en route to Alubarna City. Atop one of the ruined buildings, a camera's light burned red, aimed at the clash below. Intercepting the signal, the Silver Vampirates received a crystal-clear feed back in the Germa Throne room. The struggle between Link and Cletu was broadcast for the Vampirates to see.
===========================================
Skies Towards Alubarna @Sea
The fiery skies were populated by whirling winds. The Guardian of Alabasta, rejecting the Vampirates but acknowledging that the kingdom's fate was intertwined with the pirate crew, resolved to stop the invader. This invader had nonchalantly declared an intent to destroy the Vampirates. The gusts could change the course of any bird, with the aim of sending the invader back to the Plaza. Two of the Five known flying Devil Fruits met in a fated encounter in the skies above Alubarna—enemies. Akira expected nothing less. The Pterodactyl halted its charge, standing in the midst of the winds.
A single air blade disrupted the wind's formation, causing a ripple through the whirling currents. The winds fluttered, creating a substantial chasm where the air blade had broken through. Although they were now not strong enough to move a flyer, they remained present. The dinosaur expressed what Pell already knew: they should not have allowed the Vampirates to take over. In truth, they had no choice, but that internal battle still raged within Pell. Akira had struck a nerve. Suddenly, a surge of will made Pell stop, and the falcon hovered in place, his feathers trembling in response to that will. The winds, in turn, ceased under a will that Pell could not withstand.
Reality began to sink in. There was a brief pause before the Guardian of Alabasta came to his decision.
[Pell] “I cannot protect Alabasta if I'm dead. May the King forgive me, but I bear no allegiance to the Vampirates. Have your way with them. Just leave the people of Alabasta out of it."
[Pell] "If you don't... you'll have to kill me and have my death on your conscience."
The Guardian shockingly bent a knee—a metaphorical surrender. The falcon forced his winds to normalize, understanding that the power he felt from Akira was beyond his comprehension. The Guardian knew he had no chance. He couldn't defend anything from the grave. The man descended next to Akira, sharing the goal to destroy the Vampirates with the hope of saving the kingdom. It went against the King's wishes but not against Alabasta's interests, a delicate balance. The words from the King that the people's well-being mattered resounded within Pell. This war, brought to the kingdom's doorstep, promised to endanger many innocent civilians, those who would be known as Alabasta's own. All for a Prince's goals.
Yet the Guardian concluded with a statement. If Akira threatened Alabasta, Pell would intervene. He had resolved to die if that happened, but that in itself was a threat. To have one more death on your conscience when you're only protecting your homeland. Pell sensed something within Akira.
[Pell] "You'll find the Vampirate forces spread through the city. The pirates are most numerous in the Royal Castle, City Center, and the Tomb of Kings."
Pell awaited a response from the man. If there was nothing else needed, Pell descended, leaving the area and the skies free.
The Shadow’s road to Alubarna has slowed to a crawl, but that is thanks in part to Akira’s own decision. He could have killed Pell, or at the very least take him out. But no matter, Pell’s action did very little to truly stop Akira, and the boy’s actions would quickly set the reality in for the Alabasta Guardian. With only a swing of his wings is enough to stop the wind formation for forcing Akira away. Not only that, the words of the Shadow struck Pell deeply, coupled with his will forced the guardian to stop. Before long, Pell would finally respond – seemly giving in. He would allow Akira through on the promise of leaving the people of Alabasta out of it, but the Vampirates are free game. Pell would surprisingly bend the knee, though Akira didn’t seem to acknowledge it. Pell would finally give the locations where the Vampirates are mostly gathered, 3 places though Akira knows naught of the tomb itself. But the name seems likely connected to the palace, which even without much knowledge can make educated guesses based on architecture.
But the more important question is, whether is it a trap? The boy stared at the Guardian momentarily. Though traps are hard to place if Pell could not have known if Akira would go to a designated one. Yet Pell’s words of his death would weight upon Akira’s conscience is believable. Even if the boy’s conscience would not be affected by it, he could at least take Pell’s words as truth. Pell himself would more than likely knew, Akira would likely have destroyed Alabasta if it comes down to it.
The boy has however made up his mind. Trap or not, Akira have to remove the presence of Vampirates in the city, this would greatly alarm both the Vampirates and the Marines that something just went terribly wrong and would be forced to come to the city. It would be a death trap of chaos and confusion between all sides. This is what Pell would not be able to realize however, after all – since the boy behind him did not mention how he planned to destroy the Vampirates. Akira would suddenly bat his wing at partial strength at Pell, not enough to defeat him, but just enough to send him crashing into the ground, if not his physical wing then the winds that Akira conjures would be enough.
The actions of Akira are contradictory to what he promised, but here the boy would finally respond.
“Then tell your people to hide in the palace, or whichever place that you can best defend yourself with. Tell the Vampirates that you failed to stop the enemy from going to the city centre. Stay far away from the battles.”
To help Pell, Akira choose to slightly bruise Pell so that suspicion would not fall under him should he otherwise return to Alubarna completely uninjured. The boy readied himself once more, wings flapped as Akira starts to gain speed.
“Whether to escape, or to hide. Whether to continue helping the Vampirates or the revolutionaries, or to seek help from the World Government. The choice is yours. This is the chance to change your fate.”
Words that serves not just as a warning but also an advice. It is not just to Pell that he talking to. He is telling Pell to pass his message to people that could make such decisions. That their homeland, unlikely to escape the effects of war, would at least find solace that their people would more than likely continue to survive and rebuild rather helping sending them to their doom over the whims of a pirate lord.
From here on, Akira will fly straight towards the centre of the city, where the Vampirates are. Should Pell understand what he needs to do, the boy should expect the city defences to be halved. He would have to find a way to segregate themselves from the Vampirates, and now he has a tool to do so. All these talking - Is this the boy’s feelings making the decision? That the same thought of someone’s homeland being taken away and brought to ruin from an aggressor surge empathy to give others a chance for salvation? Or is it just manipulation to rid the city of half of its defences to make the trap easier to spring? Such thoughts come and go. They did not linger beyond as if such thoughts are pointless – the boy’s goal is up ahead, now likely unimpeded.
Silver Hair became a silver blur as he stepped forward, striking rapidly with only one of his juttes, It was a technique generally meant to strike the head of an opponent, but given his size he found the technique perfect to deal with these sharks. Each one of the water creations were struck by his blackened weapon, dispersing before his casual swings. As he did so, his other hand put away his other jutte, hanging it on his back where it belonged.
So much for disregarding your men, eh?Larsi chuckled, putting his free hand inside his jacket. Just then multiple things happened. Two of the people he had ordered back burst into motion, attacking the marines, while Shaarib himself unleashed a burst of conquerors haki. Neither was of any relevance to Larsi himself, yet he was not happy with the two of them disregarding his order. Feeling the strength of his foe's spirit wash over him, he was doubtful they would be able to withstand it as they were. The fools had just put themselves back in danger.
Shaarib blinked twice, eyes wide. The Vice-Admiral looked at his hands, troubled, he had not foreseen this outcome. He had only wanted to subdue the pirates in front of him, maybe try to scare the Giant. But... But, his Haki had done more. The wave went further on further and Shaarib only was able to follow it until it expanded for 160 meters. He knew the extent of his will's when they realized there weren't any more sounds of people fighting around them. Shaarib took a glance behind him, the soldiers were safe. Afraid and too surprised to move, but the job was done.
The two pirates Larsi spoke to, took advantage of the little exchange between the pirate and the marine to attack. Using their armor, they made lasers rain on the battlefield. They killed a lot of soldiers just arriving on the front. It angered Shaarib, he hoped they would survive the wave but they were the first to get knocked out. In the end, they weren't worth his time.
The trip to the Center Island was easier for the new coming soldiers. He had lacked concentration, he was surprised by the range of the blast, he could only hope the marines ahead of them didn't get subdued by it. Shaarib had thought the old man in front would have used Conqueror's Will to respond or to protect the ones from his crew but he decided to stand still. Shrugged it off like it was nothing. Maybe the man wasn't part of their little group. Maybe it was why he let Gambit act like a fool. The skypiean let out a little laugh and prepared to speak when the giant moved.
Shaking his head Larsi pulled his free hand out of his jacket, holding a single coin. Darker than usual, the coin gave off a strange glow. Placing it on his thumb the pirate flicked the money through the air towards Shaarib. It would be aimed perfectly towards Shaarib's torso so he could catch it easily, and should he grab it, the vice admiral would see it was worth a whole 1000 beri. Here, you can take this and leave this place in one piece. I'll even let you take these dead weights.
Shaarib never been an optimist. As soon as the coin left the giant's hand, Shaarib spat in its direction. The droplet met with the coin and it fell at an equal distance between the fighters. Shaarib did not trust the pirate enough to take a gift from him. The giant could try to poison him or if he was a prankster like Baggy, it could explode in the Skypiean's face. The good news was that the old man did not want to fight anymore. He was afraid. The Vice-Admiral used another of his dial to create a path made out of cloud. He was going to move far from the giant first, and try to keep his mantra focused on him. Pirates were backstabbers... And if Larsi chose to not act, they would see each other at the Castle. Hopefully, by then, Shaarib would have freed Koby and the others. He would be able to fight with no worries.
Debris would scatter around the battlefield of two equal opponents in firepower. Neither side budged as the confrontation began. Cletus was showing his worth as a subordinate of Gambit, yet I showed it as a former colleague and now donning a marine jacket with the word "Justice" caped over my shoulders. Cletus stood before me as he began to pant though I'd begin to feel a numbing sensation within my hands with a feel of burn within my palms after throwing some devastating firepower.
I'd open my palms wide, raising my hand high enough for me to blow to cool it down then Cletus would comment in admiration of what just happened.
I'd then focus on what was before me I wasn't just fighting someone who was well versed against me, who only recently learned Rokushiki and its styles, but also capable of using Ryou and recently Haoshoku Haki.
I'd then take a moment before responding to his admiration.
" Not too shabby "
Taking the moment to stretch myself as if just taking it easy on anyone observing. But I had to take what I saw seriously now, a man who had the same Kenbunshoku Haki as myself, also having Ryou just like me, a man capable of using fire conjuration abilities, and on top also has an attack that ended with "Impact".
Then I placed my hand into my pocket, as right now it was like a scene in a Western movie as two were ready to draw their guns. Not wanting to utilise the earlier use of Haoshoku Haki infusion or even Haoshoku Haki again as using them was heavily taxing. The only matter that i was left with was outsmarting him and not by physically defeating him. Then grab a bunch from feeling the seeds taking my hand out then toss them over the desolate battlefield.
" Midori Boshi: Take Jave-rin "
Then I relaxed myself evading my own bamboo shoot-like spikes.
" Kamie-E "
With Bamboo shoots rising from the battlefield from various angles as i knew Cletus would be able to use his Kenbunshoku Haki in that time given the distance between us.

Skies Towards Alubarna @Sea
The Guardian of Alabasta knelt, not in fear of battle, but for the sake of Alabasta. The Kingdom of Alabasta was one of the countries with one of the original Twenty Kings. Even if the Vampirates were to be defeated, the World Government would undoubtedly welcome them with open arms. However, as it stood, the Vampirates had brought war to their shores, and much Alabastian blood would be shed. The Guardian remained steadfast to the end. Akira laid down the law, instructing the Birdman to separate from the Vampirates or face a similar fate—a task that perhaps the Shadow did not fully grasp how impossible it was. With a nudge from the Pterodactyl, Pell was sent tumbling to the ground in a feint.
Akira needed to fly slowly to allow Pell to recover and reach Alubarna first, as per their agreement. By radio and presence, Pell would communicate with his army. The Pterodactyl would later find what was said.
Soon, Alubarna would come into view.
Alubarna, a sprawling city perched on a rocky ascent, had been evacuated of its civilian population. Houses and buildings stood empty, and the streets and markets were eerily deserted. The relentless sand and heat provided a constant backdrop to the lifeless city. In place of civilians, soldiers patrolled the streets, with forces stationed in the North, East, West, and South Blocks. Entrances were fortified with cannons and guards, though a few areas of the city had more concentrated units. A significant number of pirates had gathered at the City Center. If Akira paid attention, he'd notice Alabasta soldiers hurrying towards the palace, abandoning their posts.
The Flying Menace faced cannon fire and gunfire, a familiar sight. If he pressed on past the explosions directed at him, he'd reach the heavily guarded City Center, the main plaza protecting the path to the castle. Here, numerous pirates of various backgrounds were stationed, but they were not mere foot soldiers. A small faction among them wore something Akira recognized: Raid Suits.
Standing in the center, overlooking the assembled army and engaged in a conversation through a den den mushi, stood a man distinct from the rest. A man of Doflamingo's stature, this Lunarian and Mink hybrid caught the eye. Among his notorious Everlasting squad, one of the high-ranking officers of the Vampirates, a figure even La Spada made note of for her crew. Luck? Here stood one of the three highest ranked Vampirates.
First Mate of the Vampirates: Vermil "Muk" Kubosco.
No one has been skipped. No penalty. You guys don't need me for the next few posts since it's a PvP fight. I'll jump in when I'm needed!
" Not too shabby." Link replied in kind, stretching himself as if he had been taking it easy the entire time.
Cletus maintained his calm and focus. He was in no position to falter against an opponent of this caliber. Tightening his guard he waited for an opening, a chance to end this quickly. Capone Bege had long escaped the chaos in the plaza and was currently enroute to Alubarna. Meanwhile, dozens of his Vampirate brethren were left either knocked out or barely standing from their exchanged. How much more could the plaza endure? The lunarian knew that he was the only one that could turn the tides here. Link had to fall.
The marine placed his hand in his pocket, while Cletus slightly shifted the position of his feet. The two stood there, akin to western stand off, waiting for the other to make the first move. Who be the one to attack first? The Wanderer of the Navy or the Son of Science? The answer would come immediately. The Vampirate's eyes flashed with a glow of red as the marine tossed strange objects onto the battlefield.
"Throwing something?"
Bamboo shoots would suddenly rise from the battlefield in omnidirectional angles, surprising Cletus. However, the Lunarian would merely coat his entire body in Busoshoku Haki, negating any potential damage null and void, while Link avoided each bamboo shoot with ease.

Cletus hoped to catch Link off guard with something outside of the boxing he's shown, and deal critical damage to the marine. Only fate would determine how successful his attack actually was.
The boy took to the skies and headed straight for the city centre, whereby he would soon find himself within view of the city. As Akira flew over the city, he would notice several soldiers running away, perhaps they were from Alasbata, or is it the Vampirates that would try to reinforce the city centre? Akira does not know what further details entail since he only left instructions but never know the full situation. Understandably, the boy already knew that it is most likely impossible for the people of Alabasta to not be involved in the conflict. It is war after all. Yet doing so most likely would reduce more casualties on the side of the Alabasta. Approaching the city centre from the eastern side, the boy would be faced with cannon fire and gunfire once more, but nothing a concern as Akira quickly continue his flight forward, moving in a more dynamic way to make it even harder to hit Akira, though unlikely to actually harm him either way. Soon enough, the boy found his way to the plaza that connects the city to the palace. Using Haki, the boy could sense more powerful auras that gathers around the centre, but only one of them so far – is a lot stronger. These Vampirates, though small in group wore something different, but Akira has seen them – not just because he wore them but back in Wano, Gambit has shown raid suits before. And the one aura that overwhelms the rest, Muk – someone whom La Spada herself have referred to as someone of notable power, an accomplishment considering her arrogance.
The boy contemplated razing the city centre into the ground, but decided against it – his agreement with Pell still stands, using such a powerful attack would likely kill most of the Vampirates but also the lives of the Alabasta soldiers and that much destruction may force Alabasta to rethink the agreement. The boy made a decision that made no sense to his previous thoughts. A conflicting mind. But he continues to choose his beliefs that he set in stone. There’s no reason to help Alabasta, yet the boy did anyway. And now, it is time - for the fate of Alabasta may rest in the hands of the one that is an outsider to this conflict.
Almost immediately, the boy landed on the roof of the eastern building of the plaza where the Vampirates are. He cannot be sure if any traps are set, thus why he chooses not to dive straight in. Whether or not the Vampirates would notice Akira’s arrival or not did not matter too much, but it does give insight whether or not Pell’s orders are also relayed to the Vampirates. Regardless of it, Akira would swing his black coated bladed wings all around in front, firing air blades everywhere in the plaza, some aimed at Muk as well. Powerful air blades would aim at the Vampirates, notably of those that worn the raid suits – trap or not, Akira aimed to get rid of the Vampirates in one attack, while Muk is unlikely to be defeated, the rest however is ideal if taken out immediately. His attack would signal to the Alabasta people that the fight in the city centre has begun.
Name: Blade Storm Rank: S Description: Using the blade wings, Akira fires a storm of air blades towards the target indiscriminately, making it very difficult to dodge safely around the storm. (100 Mastery, 100 Strength)
It is impossible for Akira to kill Vampirates without getting some outside casualties, that is the reality. The boy could not use too powerful attacks or risk the Alasbasta changing their minds. Instead the remaining soldiers outside of the palace would have to find another way into the palace, or risk death.
Smile Factory - Underground Tunnels @Magimasterkarp
Yasashí was on a mission of peace, a daunting task within the context of war—an uphill battle, both literally and figuratively. He moved from the Bridge to the Colosseum, encountered a Vice-Admiral, and found himself in the midst of the battle. Yasashí's voice carried through the battlefield, albeit as faint whispers amid the cacophony of gunfire and clashing swords. He pleaded for peace, but his plea lost its pitch as the scene darkened. A surge of willpower forced his wounds to open, and he began to lose consciousness.
Before Yasashi's vision faded entirely, a human woman with short hair and a hat appeared above him, cloaked in shadow. In the darkness, Yasashí felt his body being dragged, and faint conversations reached his consciousness. He caught snippets of words, including "Revolutionary Army," "Vampirates," "Sovereigns," "Tunnels," and "SMILEs." The man spoke calmly, while the woman's tone was quick and concerned.
Yasashí soon felt his body on a cloud, and suddenly, a rush of water, akin to a waterfall, moistened his lips. The sounds of bandages being wrapped around his wounds echoed in the background. How much time had passed? What had occurred outside? Where was he?
Slowly, Yasashí's vision began to return.
The light danced before Yasashi's eyes, gradually piercing the darkness. The first thing he noticed was the sight of freshly cut rock adorned with plants filled with Dinoflagellates, which served as a natural source of light. Rubble was scattered all around. A small makeshift camp had been set up within the tunnels, featuring tents, open fires, and caches of weapons. It was evident that these tunnels were the result of human effort, not a product of nature.
Suddenly, a voice shattered the silence.
[Koala] "You're finally awake, Yasashi-san!"
Standing above the mink was the same woman who had been there earlier, his rescuer. She was a familiar figure within the Revolutionary Army: Koala. With a warm smile, she completed the process of bandaging Yasashi's wounds. In the camp, there were fewer than half a dozen other soldiers, one of whom carried more notoriety than even Koala. Leaning against one of the tents near Koala and Yasashi, stoic as ever, was the Deputy Commander of the G Army, Inazuma.
Colosseum Entrance @Kaka
Leonard Burns, the Marine Hero idolized by the Marine population, had delved into the depths of the world and emerged as a new man. In the throes of Pangea, something within him had fractured. Leonard's sense of justice had been turned on its head. A new justice, born from a fraternal hug, had emerged. It was a justice forged in the fires of restoration and love. Months had passed since the fateful battle against one of the World's Greatest Powers had left the once-Hero in a wheelchair. Leonard Burns had given birth to a new faction within the Marines, yet his body had betrayed him. Retirement awaited the once-proud man.
Reborn, Leonard Burns cast aside his wheelchair and his past life. On the land of the Sovereigns, he would make his mark and choose his path. But first, it was time to deal with the trash.
[Guardians] "Impossible! H-H-H-How is he still standing?! Get on the den den mushi! Contact Captain Ga-"
Suddenly, the Will of Kings bore fruit, a will forged through immense pain and hardship. Since the battle against Kizaru, that will had sharpened with the precision of a blade. The training of Kings could only occur in the crucible of battle. With a grunt, the Guardians' bodies went limp, their eyes turned white, and their mouths frowned. Their forms began to collapse to the ground with resounding thuds. Likewise, most within Colosseum Block C succumbed to this powerful will. From the trail of fallen bodies, the Commander emerged.
However, he was not alone. Leonard's sense of justice would be tested sooner than he expected. Without warning, a familiar figure touched down in front of him at the exit, the figure's Marine coat flapping behind.
The Colosseum shook as the figure landed in front of Leonard Burns. Behind him, three new PX appeared, these ones different than the rest. The Commander had exited the colosseum, only to find his path to the Bridge of Resolution barred. Not by Vampirates, but by Marines. The light slowly revealed the figure, showing the famous double-breasted worn beneath his Vice-Admiral armor. The long brown hair draped up to his ancient war helmet, emblazoned with a traditional Japanese dragon. Arm-like tendons adorned his back. Eyes semi-closed, those cold eyes would flicker amidst the cigarette smoke billowing from his mouth. A man with a grudge against Leonard Burns. One of the Contemporaries who braved Pangea.
Enter Vice-Admiral Onigumo.
[Onigumo] "Every hour spent training my body for the day I saw you again. You could have chosen to live in obscurity... yet here you are. Fate smiles on me after all."
The man spoke with a deep voice, imbued with a level of disdain rarely witnessed. Vice-Admiral Onigumo loathed Leo, a hatred born of jealousy. However, in Pangea, this hatred had escalated into outright disdain, a burning passion that consumed his every cell. Leonard Burns had not only attacked Onigumo and nearly killed him, but he had also defied a direct order: to kill the Avatism. By Onigumo's standards, Leonard was a traitor. This disdain had a visible effect; Leo could see fresh scars on Onigumo's body that he had never noticed before. Using his Observation Haki, Leo would discern that Onigumo had grown significantly in power, approaching the stratosphere of an Admiral. Not even Leo's King's Haki had affected him.
Onigumo gritted his teeth and crushed his cigarette as he spoke.
[Onigumo] "In my book, you're a traitor. So I must ask: why are you here?"
Leonard Burns had to draw a line in the sand in this war. However, the day was still young. How would this confrontation shape the course of the war?
Colosseum Arena @Larsi@Emperor Cross
The Sovereign War was well underway. The Marines had broken through the first line of defense and were making progress inland. Dressrosa had been divided into two key landmarks to capture: the Smile Factory and the Corrida Colosseum. To reach the Bridge of Hesitation leading to the Germa Kingdom, where the execution platform stood, both of these areas had to be secured. From the east, Marines flooded the Corrida Colosseum, while the Vampirates and soldiers from the Alabasta Kingdom took their stand in different blocks of the Colosseum. The battle raged on relentlessly, with two figures making contact in the Colosseum Arena, shaping the outcome.
One of those figures had silver hair. As the progenitor of the Vampirates, he had carved his way out of Impel Down, his heart heavy with the loss of his crew. He sought an audience with the current captain, Landayan Morrow. The giant of a man towered over most fighters in the arena, his eyes set on the bloodshed he so desperately wanted to prevent, eager for an explanation.
The other figure was known as the Hero of the Festival. Sharrib Hassan had taken the vanguard, clearing waves of adversaries to reach the Colosseum. His motives were a mix of seeking justice, fame, and respect. He aimed to save the prisoners and leave a lasting mark on the world, but his past was deeper than the ocean and had a habit of catching up with him. Once again, here in the arena, Sharrib's past had reared its ugly head.
[Frieza] "W-W-W-Why you! Our forces!"
[Pacifista] "Marines left conscious: 5%"
Significant statements were made on each side of the battle. On the Vampirate's side, hundreds had fallen due to a blast of King's Haki from the Vice-Admiral, strangling the battlefield and incapacitating those who couldn't manifest their will. Frieza and Janemba were on their knees, their hands quivering. They clung to consciousness but were clearly distressed, waiting for orders from Silver Hair. Similarly, the Marine side had suffered significant losses. Sharrib's Haki wasn't the only one in play. Commander Leonard Burns, just outside of the Colosseum, had unleashed his Haki as well. The combined influence of Sharrib and Leo's Haki had an impact on the Marines. Only a few Pacifistas remained standing.
The two champions stood in the arena, their forces decimated. This battle would determine which side would push toward the execution platform. Yet, like moths drawn to a flame, power attracted power. Both Sharrib and Larsi would find faces from their past reveal themselves.
Landing in the stands behind Vice-Admiral Sharrib, two infamous figures appeared amidst a pile of unconscious bodies. The bright red hair and the full mask adorned with blond hair glowed in the sunlight. The red-haired figure wore spotted pants, a black open vest, and a long dark red coat draped over his shoulders. Landing in the stands behind Silver Hair, Larsi, three Giant figures made the very colosseum shake under their weight. On the left, a Giant with a large belly, wearing a double-breasted suit and a tie, crossed his arms. On the right, a slender female giant with a long blonde hair and a humongous cannon gritted her teeth. In the middle, a more regal Giant stood tall, his eyes locked on Larsi. This Giant had curly brown hair and a large, bulbous chin. Unlike the other two giants, he wore a customized Marine suit, indicating his rank even among them. Atop his head, he sported a red pirate-like hat bearing the mark of the Marines. These were the three vice-admirals of the Giant Squad: Lira, Lacroix, and the famous John Giant.
Vice-Admiral John Giant gritted his teeth, his anger palpable, the heat pumping so loudly one could almost hear it. He pointed at Larsi with disdain and spoke.
[John Ginat] "Y-Y-Y-You! It really is you! I had heard you had escaped Impel Down. You TRAITOR! That day is forever burned in my heart. In our heart."
[John Giant] "HARULF WAS MY ANIKI!!!!"
The Vampirates, led by Silver Hair, made their stand. The Marines, under the command of Vice-Admiral Sharrib, pushed forward. However, fate was ever fickle. In the arena, both warriors confronted their past.
Convictions would clash in the free-for-all battle to determine entry to Germa Kingdom.
After using Kamie-E, stepping backward to take a particular look and analyse Cletus further with a squint in his direction. The pop greens upon hitting the ground immediately erected bamboo shoots in various angles and directions, with some marine soldiers getting pierced in the process as a loose friendly fire. Which would warrant a second of a glance at their direction to only smirk.
Cletus would coat his body in Busoshoku Haki so that the bamboo shoots would shatter upon impact, then use his right hand to dust off then smirk as he inhaled my eyes glimmered red to indicate the use of Kenbunshoku Haki activating.
In that moment my calves tensed up applying pressure by slamming my feet that dug into the ground as i amplified it by coating it in Busoshoku Haki and further with Ryou. Cletus exhaled by firing an enhanced air projectile aimed at my abdomen as i then swung my hips launching my attack to intercept his by releasing an air projectile of my own.

An inevitable collision took place as the sound of a screech with a huge bang that erupted at the epicentre of the two attacks kicking up dust and sand that would blanket over the battlefield of the two. Cletus and myself can neither best one another, yet we stood toe-to-toe, neither slipping a beat and neither giving an inch. We were nothing but equal in combat and might.
Using my hand to cover my face from the dust that stirred over the battlefield my concentration had dropped which stirred a brain wave, should i be experiencing this so should he, Cletus. Looking up as if searching for a needle in a haystack for a few bamboo shoots that were still erected a few meters up. I'd try to recall how many meters was he away from the bamboo as he did blow those before him but not those behind or to his sides, i had to recall the timing and distance and then carefully plan a way to beat Cletus.
Time was of the essence if none better than the opportunity that was presented before myself.
I'd then position myself at where i perceived the one shoot that was the closest to the other little further away but had no other choice by taking a gamble. Then tensing my calves as if appearing to lunge as i stood on my toes then leaped.
Darting in the direction of the Bamboo shoot, kicking off it as to ricochet myself as i prepared a fist that would turn in dark hue of Busoshoku Haki and further with Ryou as i used the momentum to catapult at the direction of Cletus then swung my hips then throw a ferocious punch.
" JUGON! "
With gravity furthering my momentum i'd spot the outline of Cletus through the dust, luck would happen to work in my favor for this gambit. But would it do enough for me to reign in Cletus, that was the question.

Cletus inhaled large quantities of air into his lungs before exhaling with extreme force. However, Link was quick on his feet, launching an air projectile of his own from his leg.

"Fufufufufufufufuu, this is turning out to be a bit fun!" He said with a smirk.
Suddenly, Link disappeared from the lunarian's field view with a lunge. Cletus' eyes flashed red with the usage of his Kenbunshokou Haki, the marine had not left his range! Link landed with precision onto a nearby bamboo shoot, kicking off of the verdure, building up the extra momentum required for his next attack. However, the marine would find the Vampirate already prepared, for his Color of Observation could not lie. Cletus used the tip of his toes to rotate his body in the direction the vice admiral dared to strike from. He pushed off, running at full acceleration towards the marine. He would meet him head on!

Larsi was disappointed, but not surprised that his adversary didn't seen to fall for the trap he had set up, spitting up and meeting the coin half way between the two fighters. Yet even despite refusing Larsi's "gift", the Vice Admiral seemed to think he was allowed to leave. As if, there was no way he would allow this man to carry on towards Gambit and the hostages, regardless of any disagreements he might have. As the coin fell toward the ground, reaching the midway point between the two of them height wise, Larsi pushed.
Shaarib who at this point was busy creating clouds to escape on might not notice the coin suddenly flying directly towards him like a bullet, aiming to pierce him. The darkness that coated it was haki, strengthening the attack even further. Even then, there was more coming for the marine. The buttons that pinned his cloak to his uniform would suddenly push into his chest with great force, either knocking him backwards or digging into his flesh unless he could somehow defend against it. Though it wasn't as deadly as the coin that still flew towards him as they weren't coated in haki, the small metal objects were carried by the power and weight or a giant far larger than Shaarib. Either way, escape would be out of the question, for now.

Just as he was about to step forward, Larsi noticed several new arrivals beyond Shaarib. Notable names in their own right, Eustass Captain Kidd and his right hand man Killer stepped into the arena. The former spoke of vengeance against the vice admiral, blood thirst palpable in his voice. An opportunity presented himself, the pirate seemed capable enough. Perhaps he could the man's anger distract Shaarib enough for himself to get ahead, perhaps even defeat him?
However, before he even could think further on such plans, Larsi's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of three massive figures approaching from behind. Annoyance building within, the pirate looked behind to see three figures that made even him look small. Headed by a man he recognized, the three giants approached at a steady pace. With anger that mimicked Larsi's own, John Giant spoke with a thunderous voice.
[John Ginat] "Y-Y-Y-You! It really is you! I had heard you had escaped Impel Down. You TRAITOR! That day is forever burned in my heart. In our heart."
[John Giant] "HARULF WAS MY ANIKI!!!!"
Harulf? Larsi spat, turning to face the giants fully. Hate and anger he had not felt in years suddenly ignited within the pirate. Decades stuck in the hole that was Elbaph, listening and suffering under the self important view the giants held of themselves. Presenting honor as a justification for their system of oppressing the weaker had led him to the day when he finally broke free from their shackles. Impel Down might have been the last time he was in prison, but in truth it was neither the first time nor the longest.
What of your dear friend Lonz? Or was it Ronse? I forget, Larsi said, holding out his arms to shake the chains that wrapped around his forearms. He wasn't speaking clearly when I used these chains to crush his throat...
He sank towards the depths, like you all will, unless you leave these lands...
As he spoke, the very arena itself started to shake, several sections of the stone foundation cracking and breaking, leaning inwards towards the giant at the center.
The powerful Hao-shoku no Haki swept through the area, overwhelming the wills of the combatants and rendering them unconscious. Thud and clank, clank and thud, with every step he took, Leo made sound as he walked deeper inland, his coat fluttering in the wind of change. His heavy Cyborg body was something that he was still getting used to, but alas, that was his new life, if he didn't want to concede to a forced retirement. Leo wouldn't make it far inland, for soon enough, a new obstacle came his way. This one, however, surprising. It was not the Silver Vampirates, or any other pirate. Instead, it was someone from the faction that Leo had abandoned. The Navy. Touching down on the ground with a loud, character filled landing, Vice Admiral Onigumo now stood in Leo's way.
Between these two, there was history. History from the deepest, darkest depths of the world - Pangea. Leo started coldly at Onigumo as the latter spoke.
[Onigumo] "Every hour spent training my body for the day I saw you again. You could have chosen to live in obscurity... yet here you are. Fate smiles on me after all."
The day was indeed still young, and the Sovereign War was just beginning. But, this confrontation would indeed start to move the clockworks. Two former allies, on paper, though they never truly considered each other allies. There was hatred, albeit onesided, coming from Vice Admiral Onigumo, who loathed Leo - a hatred that strengthened even further in Pangea. Onigumo considered this meeting a gift from Fate, allowing him to deal with Leo once and for all. New scars and newfound strength signaled that Onigumo would not let this opportunity escape. And as such, Leo had no choice but to fight.
This war... will change the world forever. And yet, you are willing to use it as a playground for your hatred and revenge. This is why the Navy falls short. Because while its ideals are strong, the ones executing these ideals are but mere, flawed people, like you and I. And as long as that is the case, mistakes will be made, and lives will be lost. Hatred, grief will be here, and the Navy is not the solution to end it. Onigumo...
After I've defeated you, I will let you see how this conflict resolves... and where my place in the world will be.
Leo said, the three Replica drones and the five Chiron drones floating about him. The five Chiron drones suddenly started to climb in altitude, going high up above the battlefield. As for the three Replica drones, they opened their mouths, powerful lasers charging.
Boom.
The lasers were fired, two from each of the Replicas, bombarding Onigumo's location.

Shaarib had been happy to leave this fight for a bit, but like he thought, pirates were backstabbers. Larsi attacked him as soon as he began to form clouds. Ironically at the same time, Shaarib felt an abnormal weight on his clothes. The cloak was pushing on his chest and back, the weight was intensified the more time passed. Shaarib had a choice, he could either struggle with it and be pierced by the incoming object or grit his teeth. The priest chose the second option, the buttons were already digging into his skin. The birdman opened his palm wide, it had already turned pitch black, a sign of hardening. He hit the projectile and sent it flying back with no further effort. The priest took the opportunity to throw the cloak and his whole uniform with it. Leaving the mummy with only a white tank top already covered by new blood. That shit hurt like hell.

An awakening steeped in pain. Panic clawed through Yasashí's heart, roared in his ears and dragged him into full consciousness. What had he done? Memories of that terrible morning overlayed reality, of waking up covered in wounds, Camp Green burning in the distance, so much blood on his hands. But he wasn't alone this time. Someone was tending to his wounds and he wasn't a prisoner, either. Reality returned and brought back the memories of how he had fallen unconscious when his eyes focused on the person that had bandaged him, a familiar face, Koala.
"You're finally awake, Yasashi-san!"
"K-Koala-san! Did you save me? Sorry, i was over my head all by my own. I got separated from my delegation. There was a kid..." He trailed off softly, but soon a determined intensity returned to his features. "This war is wrong." he stated as fact, and tried standing up. "Sovereignty from the Celestial Dragons is a noble goal, and if after this war more nations are willing to declare independence it'll be a crucial step towards global freedom. But can the new freedom truly be founded on the death of two women and a child? Public perception is important if we want other countries to join us. All these marines are just here to free one of their own, they did not sign up to die for the continued dominance of the Tenryubito. So many people are dying because we, or the Vampirates with our help, forced this war on the backs of the citizens of Dressrosa and Alabasta. We should strive to make a better world for all people, and that should include marines!"
He managed to stand up, somewhat unsteadily, and took a few steps towards Inazuma: "If we can convince Lord Gambit to release the hostages it'll give the marines an excuse to retreat. Most marines joined to protect their people from pirates, so they may want to continue doing their jobs, but that is between the Vampirates and them.
Lord Gambit really doesn't have much to gain from keeping the hostages, he already got the chance to prove his strength against the marines! Let's give them the chance to save themselves. It'll be up to them if they take it."
He looked around, for the first time taking in his surroundings. "Where are we? Where do these tunnels lead?"
Smile Factory - Underground Tunnels @Magimasterkarp Yasashí's Quest for Peace amidst the Chaos of War
Yasashí's mission to bring peace was a troubling task indeed, especially given the context of war. As he made his way from the Bridge to the Colosseum, he encountered Vice-Admiral Lacroix and found himself in the midst of a fierce battle. Although his voice was drowned out by the sounds of gunfire and clashing swords, Yasashí did not give up. He persistently pleaded for peace, but his efforts were in vain as the scene grew darker. Despite his injuries and fading consciousness, Yasashí refused to give up, fueled by his unwavering willpower.
Carried by the same spirit of revolution, two figures from his affiliation emerged from the hide. Amidst the labyrinthine tunnels crossed by the revolutionary army, the mink was rescued by his comrades. As they trekked through the subterranean passages, he spoke out against the war, his voice ringing with conviction. The notion of inspiring other nations to join their cause through conflict was misguided, he argued. And in this, the young man-tiger spoke true. Inazuma, one of the core leaders of the army responded, “We agree with you that murdering those marines won’t be the ideal plan. But we have been fighting the World Government all these years. There is no justice there. And if a select few truly exhibit what real justice is, our purpose is far different than what they are.”
“We are the revolutionary army, Yasashi-san!”, Koala said with conviction.
Koala, a lady of the revolutionary army, met his words with unwavering conviction, reminding him of their shared purpose. Yet still, she gazed deep into his eyes, seeking to understand his heart.
“Yasashi-san, we need more weapons and the ability to produce more. Lord Gambit is the only resource we have in multiplying what we currently have. This is an order from Dragon-san himself. But if you really wish to speak with the Chief of the Vampirates, we will help you. But it wouldn't be easy.”
Inazuma butted in, “The end of this tunnel leads to two different paths: the SMILE FACTORY and one that leads to the King’s Dungeon where his treasures reside. From that dungeon, we can bypass the guards to pave the way towards the execution hall. But it would be tough. There are certain someone or something that guards that.”
“Are you ready?”
And so, if Yasashi-san agreed, she and Inazuma would guide him to his desired destination. At the end of the left tunnel, two princes are crossing to stop Leonard Burns. At the right tunnel, 6 witches of Camelot stood should the marines succeed, they would be the second line of defence. Will Yasashi choose to loot something from the SMILE Factory or cross the danger in order to get closer towards his goal?

Leonards Burns' Conflict of the Past
As the Guardians' valour faltered, their spirits succumbed to the invisible tendrils of a potent force. Their forms, once strong and resolute, now crumpled to the ground with a deafening thud. Such was the power of the Neo Marines Head's will that even the souls within Colosseum Block C began to feel its weight, and their wills waned. Yet, from this trail of fallen warriors, emerged the Commander, intrepid and unyielding.
Yet fate's weave had other plans in store for Leonard, for he was not to stand alone in his quest for justice. As if summoned by the winds of destiny, a familiar figure descended before him at the very exit. The Marine coat of this figure fluttered like the wings of a hawk, heralding the arrival of a powerful ally or nemesis.
10 out of 20 marionettes already fell victim to the King’s will of Burns. They couldn’t even contact the forces to deliver a message to the Chief. The other 10 that still fought the Pacifistas and Sentomaru also needed to contact the fallen but to no avail. “Luna, do you copy? Luna!”
“Something’s wrong in the C and B Block. I couldn’t reach them. Someone see what’s going on there and send a message to the chief immediately!”, Mei, one of the guardians said to Tama. “Aye!”
Inside the Arena@Emperor Cross@Larsi Fall of the Coastal Forces and the Battle of Two Heroes
Amidst the turmoil of battle, the Vampirate forces lay shattered, their strength waning. Yet, amidst the chaos, two figures stood firm, locked in a struggle for supremacy. The festival's herald, Vice-Admiral Shaarib, and the Founding Captain of the Silver Vampirates ─ Larsi are both resolute in their determination to emerge victorious.
Their powers clashed, each determined to defend their respective fleets at all costs. In the heat of the moment, the Vice-Admiral, young and talented, suffered a minor blow, a testament to his opponent's unwavering conviction.
But the young officer shared his nemesis' philosophy, one not to be faulted. As the dust settled, Frieza and Janemba, though weakened, remained conscious, their senses reeling from the intensity of the battle.
"The marine, he's formidable," uttered the golden reptile, his voice heavy with awe. "He's even wielded the same power as the chief. We mustn't underestimate him," he whispered in the same tone as his twin's.
In the classic battleground, two valiant champions stood, their armies laid to waste. The fate of the realm hung in the balance, for whichever side prevailed would march towards the dreaded execution platform. Yet, as the stars themselves watched in awe, fate beckoned forth an unexpected twist. For within the fray, a force beyond the physical stirred, drawing forth echoes of old faces and ancient bonds. Sharrib and Larsi, both righteous and true, would find themselves caught in this web of destiny, their pasts colliding with the present.
Enter Gatz!
Before Sharrib propelled for his attack, Gatz, the proud emcee of the battleground appeared like an umpire on the height of the Corrida Colleseum with his microphone in tow. In split seconds, he began introducing the proud warriors of today's event.
"Ladies and gentlemen, conscious and unconscious ones, welcome to the main event of the day! This is a no-holds-barred, no-disqualification, no-countout match for the World Heavyweight Championship! Introducing first, the challenger, weighing in at 770 pounds, from the Government of the World. He is the man who punished Buggy the Clown in East Blue, deratted the Dawn Island, Defeated Vergo and Ceasar Clown in Punk Hazard, and massacred the Beautiful Pirates & the Barto Club in quick succession. He also put his name deep in the Fishman Island and just recently became the 16-time world champion in Karate Island. People of the Sovereign, the Hero of the Festival, Vice Admiral Sharrib!"
Gatz only breathed a second before introducing the second figure in this event. "And his opponent, the unstoppable, weighing in at 1,120 pounds, from the colossal terrain of Elbaf. He was the one who punctured Sir Crocodile back in Alabasta and defeated Sir Patrick Redfield along with the current Chief of the crew he established! The man from Impel Down rose back from the dead. The man who slaughtered many in all of Westeros! The protector of the realm. The mind of the king."
Drumrolls louder.
"The Silver Hair, LARSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"
"This is a match that the entire world has been waiting for, a clash of legends, a battle of icons, a showdown of epic proportions! Who will walk out of here with the gold? Who will cement their legacy as the greatest of all time? Who will rise above the rest and claim the title of World Heavyweight Champion? There is only one way to find out, and that is to watch this historic match unfold right here, right now! Let's get ready to rumble!"
Within the arena's thundering silence, the mystical announcer, undeterred by the force of shattered wills, summoned forth Gatz! And as Gatz's words echoed, a curious enchantment stirred the slumbering souls, their fingertips abuzz with anticipation ─ seemingly trying to wake up one after the other. Yet, within the ranks of the Supernovas, brows furrowed in vexation, for the emcee had neglected their presence in this fabled gathering.
"Our referees, John Giant of the Navy alongside his Giant Squad, Vice Admirals Lacroix and Lira! The Commentators: Captain Eustass Kid of the Kid Pirates and his First Mate, Killer!"
"What?!", Kidd shouted. "We are no referees here!"
Killer laughed like a crazy dawg.
Here comes Sharrib!
With the agility of a storm, Vice Admiral Sharrin lunged forward, darting towards the two Supernovas with the swiftness of lightning. Kidd, ever vigilant, saw the perilous approach of the Vice Admiral and issued a warning to his fellow comrade, Killer.
In a flash, Kidd discerned the pattern of the Vice Admiral's movements and, with the grace of a master, he countered the attack. With his metallic right arm, he lowered his body, twisted his hip, and unleashed a mighty punch, imbued with the trails of Haki. The air crackled with energy as the two forces met, each seeking to emerge victorious in this spellbinding duel. "Genocide Drill!", he roared.

As the fists of fate collided, a tempestuous force erupted from Sharrib's incantation, clashing thunderously with his opponent's punch. The maelstrom of mystical energies reverberated, shaking the very foundations of the arena. In an instant, a ferocious gale burst forth, sweeping Gatz off his feet and hurling him from his perch.
As if summoned by the winds of fate, Killer sprang into action, cartwheeling above Sharrib, who was still reeling from their clash. With a keen eye, Sharrib might glimpse the two scythes spinning in Killer's grasp, poised for a devastating two-handed strike at his back. These blades, awash with the power of Haki, bore an enigmatic quality capable of piercing even the mightiest of Tekkai defences wielded by the valiant Hero. "Beheading Claw!"

Larsi, after seeing the appearance of the three giants quickly enough to mock their points of pride. He even bragged about how he used the chains stuck in his wrist to end the life of his friend. Cursing under his breath, John Giant stomped his right foot together with the butt of his polearm, unloosing a gust of wind towards Larsi.
"Take it easy, John!", Lacroix said. "He is a pirate! He is a moron and would use foul words to agitate you."
"I agree.", Lira butted in. "Don't let your emotions get over your small brain."
"No!", John Giant responded. "I will let him taste my wrath!"
With that bold declaration, the giant using his polearm tried to blitzed Larsi and swung his weapon from above his head. The attack was imbued with Haki ang strong enough to even draw an air slash in the process of cleaving it. A two-fold attack!
"RAAAAAAH!"
"TAKE THIS!"

Lira came to aid her comrade. From a distance, she fired 6 consecutive shots from her shoulder cannon, unleashing an explosion in the immediate location of the target but avoiding potential damage dealt to John Giant. In conjunction with that, Lacroix, using the discipline of Rokushiki, fortified his right fist before swinging it across the location of Larsi, shooting a dozen air-compressed giant-sized punches hardened by Haki. The three attacks are too much to be handled by a single man, let alone coming from giants!
The plaza continued to shake as the two opposing warriors fought for supremacy. The Lunarian swung at the Vice Admiral with a right hook, throwing his arm in a horizontal, sweeping motion as he aimed to slam his fist into his temple. However, having the same type of Kenbunshoku Haki as Cletus, Link was prepared. With rotating hips, the marine's arm would meet Cletus' fist with equal force!
"HOOK!"
" Arm Rankyuaky Shuriken!"
A resounding bang could be heard from the plaza! Once again a crater would form beneath their feet. Nonetheless, Link would still have to deal with what was coming next. Cletus had sent his right fist upwards behind of him. Having instinctively predicted a counter attack, he launched it downwards towards the marine with death-dealing force. However, Link's acrobatic reflexes would prove to be exceptional even under pressure. Twirling mid-air, he unleashed a Busoshoku hardening coated kick that clashed with the Lunarian's fist!
"CHOPPING RIGHT!" " Ashigan!"
This time around, Cletus' strength proved be greater, quickly overpowering the marine's counter attack. The Lunarian's fist sent the marine tumbling through the sand, causing debris to explode in all directions. Cletus' smirked in satisfaction.
Link rose to his feet quickly, dusting himself off before complimenting the Vampirates display of power. "Nice shot Cletus. I call it 1-1 now, we both got one shot on the other."
Cletus nodded in acknowledgement. "You're not too shabby yourself! Your reflexes are amazing!"
With the wave of his arm, the lunarian raised a brow as he summoned one his subordinates. " Soldier here, hand me my swords now."
With great uncertainty, the weaker marine rushed towards the Vice Admiral handing him his two blades. Unsheathing them both, he made a declaration. He intended to finish things immediately.
" It's only I show you courtesy Cletus by going all out now. Now the real fight commences now."
The Lunarian would only respond with a sigh. The weight of preventing the marines from advancing lay heavy on his shoulders. Nevertheless, he couldn't change the fact that he was having the time of his life. Before, he had been so focused on vengeance and his past. Now the Vampirate had never felt more free. Fighting for his friends, fighting for his crew and fighting for his own pleasure. He grinned in excitement.
"Fufufufufufufufufufufufu......"
He unzipped his hoodie, disrobing before throwing it to the side with a faint thud. His muscles lay bare to the world, revealing the sun shaped marking that dominated his chest. A constant reminder that he was a lab rat. He could all but die here, yet still, he smiled in the face of that fact. He wouldn't be a Vampirate otherwise! His fists hardened with Busoshoku Haki, causing them to glisten in the sun like black, polished iron.
"I was about to say the same thing! Now, let's finish this!"
Alaburna - City Center@Sea
It was a tense day in Alubarna City. The air was thick with anticipation as the City Center, a critical stronghold protecting the path to the Royal Palace, braced itself for the impending clash between enemies. Vermil "Muk" Kubosco, the formidable First Mate of the Vampirates, stood proudly on the raised platform, surrounded by his elite soldiers in Raid Suits, dozens in number. Across the shadows, Akira "The Shadow," First Mate of the Spada Pirates, moved silently with an air of mystery. His reputation preceded him, not for his face but for the daring exploits that had led to the death of his captain.
The Spada Pirates, led by the enigmatic Akira, approached the City Center with a calculated precision that sent shivers down the spines of even the most seasoned Vampirates. Their eyes screamed fear upon seeing the shadow fly above them. Muk would soon find himself facing a rival whose prowess matched or exceeded his own, and fate seemed to play a cruel hand in orchestrating this encounter. The streets of Alubarna City were fraught with tension as the very earth prepared for a clash that would echo through the city's history.
The starting gun was the wind cut by might.
[Muk] "It's you... The Spada Pirates have the nerve to interfere? Take another swing. I dare yah'."- the First Mate of the Vampirates spoke with conviction and a tint of derision
The mocking tone lingered in the air on that last word, familiar accent and all, adding an extra layer of animosity to the already charged atmosphere. Muk's brown eyes glowed with a risen aura, a reflection of the intensity of the moment.
Akira, ever the silent and observant figure, had launched an air blade towards Muk, a calculated strike meant to test the waters. Yet, Muk's response was swift and formidable. With a Haki-infused fist, he not only parried the wind blade but redirected it with a controlled force. The displaced air blade sailed off into the distance, a testament to Muk's mastery of his abilities. However, keenly observant, Akira may note the subtle details. Muk's muscles pulsed with electricity, a power known to those familiar with Electro. Unlike the external use by others like Kai or Tai Lung, Muk's Electro was directed inward, strengthening him from within.
The Raid Suit-wearing elites, a formidable force in their own right, moved with a synchronized precision that spoke of rigorous training and discipline. Their suits, like Muk's Electro, amplified their strength from within, making them a force to be reckoned with. As the air crackled with tension, these elites skillfully dodged the strikes directed towards them, their advanced sonar systems alerting them to imminent danger. The massive attack had taken its toll on the foot soldiers, halving their numbers, and leaving the remaining ones in a state of cowering fear. The chaotic scene painted a vivid picture of the power dynamic at play.
[Pell] "It's finally begun. Alabasta will make it's stand here!"- the bird man said from a hidden location, his eagle eyes watching from afar
Amidst the chaos, Muk descended from his raised platform, stepping onto the battleground. Twelve elite guards formed a protective lattice around him, creating an impenetrable barrier. The combined strength of Muk and his elite guard presented a formidable challenge to any adversary daring to breach their defenses. Muk and Akira stood locked in a silent standoff, the air crackling with tension as their respective powers hinted at the fierce battle about to unfold.
The fate of Alubarna seemed to hang by a thread, and the clash between the Vampirates and the Spada Pirates was set to be an unforgettable spectacle.

Sovereign War #10
(Dressrosa / Gambit's Group)
Entrance to Colosseum @Kaka
Under the eerie glow of Sovereign Island's sun glistened sky, Leo, the renegade Marine turned Neo Navy, faced his past embodied in the imposing figure of Vice-Admiral Onigumo. The air crackled with tension, a palpable energy charged with the history of their shared battles and the unspoken animosity that now defined their relationship. The wind carried whispers of forgotten alliances and shattered loyalties, dancing with the echoes of missions completed side by side. Leo's gaze hardened as he met the cold stare of Onigumo, who seemed to have harbored years of resentment and bitterness. It was a confrontation fueled not just by the clash of swords but by the clash of ideals, the betrayal of justice that Leo believed the World Government had committed.
Onigumo's deep voice cut through the stillness, a low growl of disdain that echoed through the war-torn landscape:
[Onigumo] "Leo, you were given everything, and yet you betrayed it all. The recognition, the honor—I should have been the one to receive it. The man who was truly worthy."- Onigumo growled with contempt
Leo's expression remained stoic, a mask concealing the turmoil within. The fellow Contemporary embarked on a soliloquy, etching his words into the soft earth beneath his boots. His impassioned speech resonated with unwavering conviction: Recognition and honor, constructed upon the skeletal framework of corrupted justice, held no value. Leo had resolved to extricate himself from the role of a mere pawn in World Government's twisted game.
Onigumo's eyes, cold and unforgiving, narrowed at Leo's words.
[Onigumo] "You were always too idealistic, Leo. You let your emotions cloud your judgment. I know now you were the G. You shall pay for your treachery with blood."- Onigumo roared, sword clinking beneath his angered grip
The scars of betrayal and resentment were etched on Onigumo's visage, and Leo could feel the weight of their shared history looming over them like a storm about to break. The G, the perpetrator who pilfered Chapter Black from the Vault, aligning with Zephyr and the Primordials. In Onigumo's eyes, there existed only one possible culprit, and the scoundrel was donned in the unmistakable attire of Zephyr's organization: Neo Navy.
The tension would be broken by yellow lights.
As the laser radiance coalesced, three silhouettes materialized before Onigumo, their outstretched hands directed at the illuminating source. The ensuing explosions swept through the surroundings, shrouding Onigumo in billows of smoke. When the veil finally dissipated, the trio of pacifists, previously observed in Onigumo's company, now stood before the Vice-Admiral. A large, web-like shield cascaded to the ground, leaving Onigumo and the Pacifists unscathed. If Leo's cybernetic enhancements permitted, he would discern the spider-like appendages extending from the back of these Pacifists, evidently Onigumo's personal guardians endowed with arachnid abilities. Behold the PX-Spider.
There'd be no time to covet the new pacifista model, who had charged up lasers in their eight limbed bodies. With a roar that bounced against the colosseum, Onigumo's deep-seated resentment was unleashed. The glint of sunlight cascaded off the polished blade of the Contemporary as he lunged forward, a blur of motion that sliced through the air. Flying slashes emanated from the Vice-Admiral's blade like lethal arcs, a deadly dance aimed at both Leo and the hovering drones.
Evading these arcs proved to be a daunting task. Infused with Haki, the gusts of wind erupted upon contact with their target, unleashing explosive torrents of air that engulfed both the drones and the Neo Navy Commander. Leo, with a discerning eye, might identify the assault: a manifestation of Chimera's distinctive battle style. That is how Onigumo had ascended swiftly and significantly in strength.
[Onigumo] “Desertion is punishable by execution.”- shouted Onigumo, words Leo would recognize
Zephyr had his protégé, and so did Chimera. The echoes of Zephyr and Chimera’s Justices clashed persistently, resonating long after their respective eras had faded into history.
Larsi was very angry, the words he shouted back at the other giants were full of malice and aiming to draw them out and make them make mistakes. The pirate’s body was shaking, yet it was not from anger this, no that was from the hell that was about to be unleashed on the entire colosseum.
In the distance he could hear the sound of the announcer that had arrived, treating the battle like any other ordinary fight that took place in the arena. Larsi wasn’t sure if what the man was saying was meant to aggravate the giants and Kidd, or simply ignorant, but he didn’t care. His voice was an annoyance, but one that would be silenced shortly. For a split second he considered taking the microphone from him, but let the thought drop.
Despite his anger, frustration and annoyance Larsi stood firm in place. It was a strange sensation, even despite the other more wild emotions he was feeling, to be face to face with not one, but several people that were bigger than himself. Each one of them Giants of Elbaf, likely older than himself, they carried the pride and honor of their homeland. They held within them the self confidence of someone who had never faced an opponent they could not literally look down on.
Larsi remembered that night, so many years ago, back on Elbaf. His last night in the place he had called home. It had been a night of violence and bloodshed, but most importantly to himself, a night of power and freedom. He remembered Harulf as he lay dying, his throat crushed just like Lonz’s had been, his voice lost as blood flowed from his mouth.
This day was not like that night. It was not a single drunken guard at a door. These were three giants of the marines, loyal dogs of the World Government. They were here to deliver justice, to rescue their fellow marines. And Larsi was standing in their path, a representative of the pirates that had started this war.
The other two giants were attempting and failing to calm John Giant after the taunt from the pirate. Refusing their attempts to contain himself, the leader of the giants let out a roar and charged towards Larsi. Not willing to let their commander face their opponent alone, Lacroix and Lira both followed behind.
Each step the giants took sent shakes throughout the surface of the arena, loud crashes that were sure to be felt even well outside the arena. The air filled with dust and quick bursts of wind, both created by the stampede of the three, as well as the battle between Shaarib and Kidd. In the center of the arena stood Silver Hair Larsi, his namesake flowing wildly in the wind, as did his loose clothing, rippling violently. His body was still shaking, much like the arena itself was, but his feet were firmly planted on the sandy stone. His free hand reached up behind his shoulder, gripping the handle of his other jutte, even as John Giant reached close. To either side the other two giants spread out, ready to follow up on their attacks.
John Giant’s sword came down on the smaller giant, and like a spring Larsi’s jutte swung off his back and struck it upwards. The tip of the jutte met the blade head on, stopping it dead in its tracks and cutting through the air blade, letting the force pass him by and crash into the ground around himself. Immediately after impact Larsi pulled his weapon back a fraction, then struck it up towards John Giant's abdomen.

Even as Larsi countered the attack, the two barrages were already flying towards him. He might be outnumbered, but the three of them were outmatched. The speed of which Larsi’s weapons moved could seem like a blur to them as he began his second counterattack. His arms were like two twin tornadoes, spinning his weapons so fast they ignited in flames, even as the rockets and air projectiles had almost reached him.
Then Larsi struck, performing the same technique with both arms, in opposite directions, each seeking out one of the two giants. Twisting his juttes out of the spin he thrust towards both foes. Then again. And again. Again and again. To the untrained eye it looked like the pirate attacked multiple times at once, but each one was consecutive.
A blast erupted from the tip of both weapons, flames fueled by the force and traveling towards Lira and Lacroix. Each of the attacks that had nearly reached the pirate were engulfed in the explosion, swallowed whole and cast aside before the overwhelming force, though it was weakened slightly. Even so, if John Giant was able to watch from his point, it would look like Larsi had two fiery wings that extended into the distance, likely engulfing both of the other giants. Both blasts were large enough to cover two hundred meters, yet they would likely be hindered slightly by the colosseum walls.
Guns N' Roses: A multi-thrust technique. The user starts by rapidly twirling the jutte until it catches flame, then thrusts it to the target 10 times wherein it creates a highly compressed blast of air mixed with flames as if fired from a cannon, hurting anyone inside its AOE. - DPR A, requires 81 Strength, 81 MA Mastery (AoE: 81/5=16)
120: 5. Town Level + 3(A) + 3(COA)= 11. Small Continent Level
3 higher than clash, loses 1 DPR, final is 10. Large Country Level
Then the colosseum walls seemed to explode, yet the burst was in towards the center of the arena. Huge chunks of stone were ripped from the structure, twenty in total. Like enormous boulders they would tear themselves free from the place they had sat for hundreds of years and fly through the air towards the combatants. Standing at the center, Larsi was the last it would hit, instead several would fly towards Kidd and Shaarib, as well the three giants, should they all even be able to react.
Using the same technique he had used earlier to attack Shaarib, Larsi had focused on the metal that was embedded deep into the arena itself, tearing them out with the stone that it had held in place for so long. Even the area around Gatz the commentator tore itself free, flying off. Would the huge pieces of debris cause any damage to Kidd and Shaarib or would it just be an annoyance to them. Would the giants be able to survive the attack from both front and behind? Would the arena itself survive being ripped to pieces?
