Sovereign War #12
@Ichimonji

The mitigation is mostly a success, as Akira’s managed to weaken the strike enough that he could conceivably deal with Muk’s attack head-on, yet the clash wasn’t as ideal as he would have thought – for the electrifying attack could still hit Akira, punching the boy with a rather effective hit, causing his body to burn from the electricity as well as its impact slam into the ribs, cracking several bones as the skin burns from the wound, blood dsplat out from the mouth from impact – but this is something that Akira expected, and his resilience allowed him to strike back hard, using a Soru-esque technique to catch Muk off-guard, this allowed Akira to leave a deep gash upon Muk’s raid suit and through his body. As Akira careen past Muk, a field of Electro shocked Akira – a powerful electricity surges into the boy once more, damaging the already weakened state further – but Akira this time, recognizes what it is, for he has not just seen it but experienced it. This forced Akira to be paralyzed in motion, unable to move in which resulted in the invisible Vampirates to get onto him, not just due to his inability to move but also because he temporarily lost track of them.

Akira's Dura on punch/electro: Normal damage to both

The boy may not recognize how the invisible Vampirates look, he can definitely feel the aura, the heat and the physical touch of the Vampirates, it isn’t simply being suspended onto the air, electricity continues to shock to whittle Akira’s ability to move further damaging him a little more. And with Akira caught, Muk reappeared in front of him once more, this time with a sword readied against him. Fire and electricity surges around the sword as a monstrous form taking into a dragon. The boy was surprised, but he reacted quick. He did not have to consider further, the boy knew something like this would happen, that the invisible Vampirates would do something like this – after all Muk this whole time has indeed been using his soldiers for various purposes so far. And as such, one of the main reason he did not use Conqueror’s Haki to knock them unconscious from the start. To save it for this particular timing. The boy’s battle plan is a gambit, one that he believes would lead him into success. Pain and death held onto Akira’s mind. But he battled those thoughts.

Akira's Dura on Vampirates' electricity raid suit: Not very effective

A burst of will, Akira responded with Conqueror’s Haki to knock his captors unconscious as Muk unleashed his dragon of thunderous and flaming fury into a maelstrom. Akira may have been slowed by the paralyzing effects, but there is one way to ‘speed’ himself. Even though he cannot move as fast as he was, his attacks could. With the three Vampirates knocked unconscious and would more than likely fall, Akira uses his foot to step onto one of them before he would jump above up, the shortest route. At the same time, Akira swung his sword upwards as he swpins himself, generating an airblade along his own sword to generate force and momentum that would carry him upwards. This would look like Akira was trying to use his own attack to avoid the maelstrom, but in no cases he could avoided it at such close range, yet with the vertical boost from his own attack Akira clashes against the maelstrom, with his body just slightly outside of the range of the attack.

Name: Autumn’s Moon
Rank: S
Description: A variant of the Full Moon technique, rather than an Iai technique – the user spins and generates an air blade while striking the opponent at the same time, increasing the potency and power of the attack. [Pic 1] (91 Shuurin, 91 Strength)

Akira's DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + S: +4 (Sword Rank) + Black Blade: +2 = 9. Small Country Level vs 12. Large Country Level
Result: Attack is 3 DPR higher: Overwhelms the weaker attack but loses 2~DPR

The clash against the maelstrom would not succeed in Akira’s favour, as Muk’s attack is rapidly overpowering Akira’s attack in literal seconds, forcing the boy to stop his resistance against the attack, letting the Maelstorm through while the attack would propel Akira forward but also downwards through reverse momentum, this meant that Akira would fall into the tail end of the attack. But this time Akira had time to coat only himself in Haki, full body Haki. A very expensive action to take, for it would take quite a large chunk of his stamina to do so. But it is an action that would save his life.

Akira's Durability: 81-100: 5. Town Level + CoA: +3 = 8. Island Level
Result: DPR 2 or more higher than dura: super effective

As Akira falls into the attack, the combination of fire and electricity would bombard the boy, causing great damage not just to the raid suit but to his skin that would cause multiple 2nd and 3rd degree burns, similar to the same situation in Wano, but much worst off. The boy would seem to free fall head-first from the damage he took from Muk in front of him. From an outside perspective it would seem like Akira failed to defend himself against Muk, and is defeated. Only an empty sense of calmness and a weakened aura could be felt from Akira. But this is but a ploy. Akira activated Mushin, a mental state just as the attack hit him to make him look like he is defeated. Not only that, his raid suit completely covers Akira, even his face – making it pretty much impossible to physically tell from an eye-view. Akira’s initial attack was set up to close in on Muk with his uppercut-like attack, and now he is sufficiently close enough, and given Muk’s seemly confidence and arrogance – it may be enough to put him off-guard, even for a second, which is what Akira is looking for.

Suddenly, the boy made his move – he turned his body as black lightning crackles on the hand closest to Muk. With a single motion – Akira aim to strike directly on Muk’s face with an open palm strike. While it may look like a grab, the attack generates a powerful shockwave through from his palm to the target. With this, Akira aimed to defeat Muk, the damage to the head hopefully enough to knock him unconscious. A ploy to trick Muk to lower his guard, something Akira almost never do in such cases.

Name: Shaka no Tenohira (如来神掌, Buddha's Spirit Palm)
Rank: S+
Description: The user strikes the target with an open palm strike, delivering a massive shockwave blast point blank through the target, aiming to damage target's internal body. The after-effects of the strike leaves a larger palm print behind the target. [Pic 1] [Pic 2] (100 Ryūsui-Ken, 100 Strength)

Akira's DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + S+: +5 (Sword Rank) + CoA: +3 + CoC: +1 = 12. Large Country Level

- Mushin (無心): A mental state that Akira achieved after his failure to kill La Spada. Upon further training in the Valley of Peace, Akira took upon the words of Oogway that inadvertently allowed him to enter a state of no mind, or rather a state in which his training as a warrior and as an assassin allows him to laser focus into his fights with incredible concentration - a clear mind.
During Mushin, the boy removes his killing intent completely - essentially preventing any forms of reading including Haki to be able to sense Akira's emotions beyond an empty state of calmness, this also makes his aura 'quiet' to the point of being similar to any other ordinary being that is indiscernible in a crowd - thereby making it difficult to gauge his power through Haki. His facial expression maintains essentially a perfect stoicism, similar to apathy to a certain degree. In this state, one may consider it to be the same as being 'in the zone', Akira's mental state becomes much greater than before - resulting in greater adaptive and intuitive mind, cognition and perception which meant not only is Akira is able to fight with no hesitation nor distractions, but also allow him to temporarily ignore pain - providing Akira with extreme efficiency during combat regardless of the injuries, damages or even death.

As Mushin is mental state of total concentration, the downside of this is mental exhaustion once he exits said state. This also means that longer usage means greater exhaustion.

The boy made no hesitation. His entire body hurts, and even with Mushin allowing him to temporarily ignore the pain, the damage from Muk managed to overpower it and the cost of using Haki without the benefits of a Zoan takes its toll considerably, nearly knocking Akira unconscious. But even if Muk wasn’t taken down, the damage to the suit is sufficient, enough that perhaps one more good hit to the Raid Suit would more than likely destroy it.

Smile Factory - Underground Tunnels @Magimasterkarp

The Revos grouped underneath the surface and discussed their plans to go to the castle and save the day. The two seniors were concerned about Yasashi's plan but they could not also let the man go down alone. They devised a strategy.

"Oh Yasashi. How did you end up part of this mess? This world does not deserve a man like you. But the world needs blood to turn it upside down.", Koala responded to him.

"It is what it is.", Inazuma seconded.

Koala tiptoed and reached for Yasashi's right shoulder, tapping it. "We will find a way to negotiate with Lord Gambit. I still believe that he is a reasonable man despite his current decisions."

Inazuma butted in, "I agree. All the nations he protected under his wings never perished nor suffered from poverty anymore. He helped them rebuild and prosper that's why these three kingdoms supported his cause. But the Government is still the enemy. Don't forget that."

"Don't worry about getting straight to the castle. Ivankov is there. He could reason."
, he continued.

"Koala paved the way. Yasashi, once he moves further, I need to you collapse the tunnel behind us so no marines could follow."

"Aye!"
, Koala agreed.

Koala led the walk and Inazuma quickly followed. However, two noble princes are already marching their way towards the exit of the tunnel where the three came in. They were about to back up the fallen Vampirates. And amidst this perilous terrain, Prince Arthur emerged with the trident in tow. Prince Ohm also revealed himself with a scowl on their faces.

"What are you Revos doing in here?", Arthur asked.

"You are not supposed to be right here.", Ohm iterated.

What would the mink do on this occasion?

Battle Dome @Larsi

Still in the arena, John's fury raged like a tempest, but the smaller giant refused to cower. Instead, he chuckled, a sound like distant thunder. With a deft hand, he traced his willpower upon the stone, enveloping it in a shroud of inky blackness, imbuing it with strength. With a mighty heave, he launched the stone towards John's position, a meteor of obsidian hurtling through the air. "?!?"

"You think this rock could break me?!"
, he shouted.

With the grace of a seasoned warrior, John hoisted the mighty pole above his head, catching the incoming attack in its path. His haki-clad blade, a faithful companion, danced in perfect harmony as it sliced through the hardened rock, cleaving it in two. "Ha!"

"Huff. Huff. Huff."

"Whatever sorcery you're using. It doesn't mean anything to me. How about you use your devil fruit ability? Afraid to devastate this land you protect?"

Lira and Lacroix started rising from the debris, shaking both their heads as if they were rammed by a hammer. Meanwhile, John Giant stomped his right foot and suddenly a trace of wind blades ploughed the ground, striding towards Larsi's direction. It may serve as a direction or a direct attack. Despite that, John would follow through as he twirled his weapon above his head generating a twister in his flight courtesy of Soru and Geppo. He then darkened his weapon as he closed in on Larsi at the same time the ground attack that was formerly launched was about to hit if Larsi stayed. And as fast as lightning, the bigger giant pounded his pole with the force of a mighty bear, aiming to break Silver Hair's head.

"Take this! You traitor!"

"Odin's Wrath!"

The waterfalls suddenly began to spring from Vice-Admiral Shaarib but since John was using Geppo at the moment, he would continue stepping on the air and expect Larsi to fall victim to this trick. Unbeknownst to him, the pirate was no longer in possession of his fruit.

Hero vs Worst Generation @Emperor Cross

Meanwhile, the duo of Kidd pirates still metres apart from where Shaarib was witnessed how the man conjured a stream of water off the ancient weapon called dial. They did not feel any trouble at that point but when the Marine ascended, something was about to happen. But it could be too late for one of them.

Kidd using the same metals he summoned a couple of exchanges ago, honed them to become a bullish creature, levetating using his magnetic ability. Killer remained on the ground, not feeling any danger until a water serpent emerged from the hide, striking the immediate sight of Killer. He would be a little bit too late to approach the attack, all he could do was block it using his scythers. "Gwaaah!"

Kidd did not allow himself to be distracted for in the process of his ascent, he saw how the boulder coming from Larsi assaulted him. This was his cue to launch a counter-attack. Using the metals he carried, he transformed them while Shaarib was still feeling the impact of Larsi's attack, into something else.

The young pirate summoned a hoard of metal from his surroundings in a swift motion, sculpting it into a towering golem with the visage of a skull-faced demon. The golem, a marvel of scrap and sorcery, hovers with a soaring torso and ghostly arms. The sorcerer, Kidd, perches atop the golem's back, weaving his devil fruit to command its movements and ram the body of the Vice-Admiral using its titanic arms from two directions: his left and his right. The main torso would then plummet from above him, aiming a guaranteed hit to avenge Killer who was sent flying backwards and hitting the walls of the Colosseum.

@Ichimonji @Infinity

Remaining mute as all I could do was huff and puff, without realising this very fight that occurred at any corner, the ramifications would be lurking around the corner. With Rear-Admiral Hina arriving then used that opportunity to use her Devil Fruit to wrap her binds covering his body.

I'd then grab the sword that left my hand earlier, with it slowly resurging as energy was coming back as i used the sword to thrust into the floor and using it to lift myself back to my feet. My eyes gazed at the battlefield noting the aftermath, then turned my gaze just in the nick of the time as the binds surrounded Cletus.

Tightening my grip on the handle then noting the blood on my sword then swinging the sword to remove the blood off. Then taking a few hobbled steps forward after such with the effects of using such power still prevailed over me but out of sheer willpower i'd drive myself forward before the binded body of Cletus.

" Thank you Cletus for such an epic fight "

Showing him his respect, i'd then note the Den Den mushi in Hina's hand and as if forcing her to hang up her call to Akainu.

" We're wasting little time and not using this as our chance to hunt the Vampirates down. "

With many of the Vampirates dispersed in a multitude of directions with some headed to the East and others to the West which didn't go unwarranted. I'd already decided where we, no i was going to go.

" We're heading East "

Entrance to Colosseum @Kaka
The battlefield pulsed with tension as the dance of the spiders unfolded, creating a relentless buzz of activity. Onigumo, now transformed into something primal, embodied the manifestation of hate-driven desires and the raw instincts of the animal within. Absolute Justice beat in his heart, a dark force that fueled his savage onslaught.

The living amalgamation of silk, blades, spiders, and venom surged forward, dashing towards Leo with an unstoppable fury. Onigumo's swords slashed at the cyborg, yet they connected with nothing but the after-image of the burly man who had skillfully initiated his ascent. A look of disgust crossed Onigumo's face as he gazed upward. In this animalistic form, more of Onigumo's primal instincts took hold. Leo, positioned above him, appeared to the Spider King as if the Marine Hero still perceived himself as superior. Anger boiled within Onigumo, a volcano on the verge of eruption.

A volcano that seethed as the bullet exploded around Onigumo.

[Onigumo] "THIS IS NOTHING! Absolute Justice is on another level!"- screamed Onigumo in a booming dark voice, his silhouette flying from out the smoke

Emerging from the dissipating smoke, the Spider King wore a determined expression. While scratches and burns adorned his body, they were minimal, a testament to the formidable protection of silk, Haki, and Zoan prowess that shielded him from Leo's previous attack. It became evident to Leo that such an assault would no longer be sufficient; Onigumo seemed determined to assert that Leo was no longer above him.

With a graceful Geppo, Onigumo ascended to Leo's height, positioning himself a few meters in front of the Marine Hero. Yet, a crucial detail remained—the Spider King went a bit higher, deliberately keeping himself above Leo. It was a symbolic gesture, a metaphor given life, indicating Onigumo's intent to shift the power dynamic between them. The battlefield had become a canvas for this profound statement.

[Onigumo] "The new era of Marines is coming. Don't you feel it? You cannot get away from it, Leo."- said Onigumo, an attempt to bait the man

By the time Onigumo caught up to Leo, two large wings of Spider Silk had unfurled from his back. The Spider King's body had transformed into a deep black with Haki, and his spider fangs whirred with an ominous energy. Onigumo, in this moment, truly resembled a demon, a manifestation brought forth unwittingly by Leo's actions.

Meanwhile, on the ground, the unseen battle between Alpha and Omega persisted, the exchange of blows creating a dazzling light show that illuminated the skies, a testament to the intensity of the conflict that raged on.

= somewhat effective
The shell ripped through the air, descending down toward Onigumo. Leo expected Onigumo to avoid or detonate the shell prematurely to keep himself safe, but much to Leo's surprise, Onigumo roared, taking the explosion head on while proclaiming that Absolute Justice would not fall to something like this. Truly, Onigumo had ascended to something unnatural. Something monstrous. He might even be on the level of an Admiral now. Such rapid ascension of power was not something that Leo had witnessed before. And yet, he felt sure that Onigumo was not using some type of a drug to achieve this. Only one explanation remained. Power borne of absolute hatred. Only absolute hatred could let one attain power so rapidly. And Onigumo's monstrous, almost demonic appearance was a testament to this. In front of Leo was the spider king. With a mighty Geppou, Onigumo quickly shot up through the air, appearing several meters away from Leo, slightly higher than Leo himself. Onigumo's obsession with being looked down upon, and in turn his obsession with now climbing higher than Leo, was something Leo was oblivious to. To Leo, this was but an enemy to be defeated - Onigumo's hatred was not reciprocated.

Look at yourself... if you looked at yourself in the mirror, could you really tell me this was what justice looked like?

That stoic, arrogant expression that Leo would normally wear. Undoubtedly, Onigumo despised it to his core.

Leo pushed off of the air and, using Geppou, rushed toward Onigumo. Once in range, Leo's right arm shot forward in the form of a mighty punch. Black Busou-shoku no Haki coated the modified Battle Smasher clad arm, and Hasshouken vibrations reverberated around the fist. Black lightning, borne of Leo's legendary Conqueror's Haki, fueled the power of the punch, and a laser was unleashed with the shockwave at the pinnacle of the punch.

Shockwave. Laser. Busou-shoku no Haki. Hao-shoku no Haki.

Hasshō-ken, Reverberating Dragon...!

Alaburna - City Center
The Vampirates orchestrated a relentless assault, utilizing their Electro abilities and electricity to impede the already disadvantaged First Mate of the Spada Pirates. Muk, acknowledging the formidable opponent before him, employed various tactics and strategies to engage the Shadow on an equal footing. A formidable dragon, imbued with both fire and electricity, surged forward, resulting in a cataclysmic clash that left Akira in a state of shock.

Unexpectedly, Akira materialized in front of Muk, his hand poised for a powerful strike. Muk, quick to react, raised his arms defensively, coating them with Haki. The subsequent impact produced a resounding clank, signifying the palm breaking through the defensive barrier and connecting solidly with Muk's chin. The camera, capturing the moment in slow motion, revealed the dislocation and fracturing of the First Mate's jaw upon impact. Muk was propelled upward with great force, crashing down on the platform from which he had surveyed the city moments before.

A few moments later, the rubble would parse.

[Muk] "Ugh! How is this possible?! He's weakened! How far does his power go?"- said the First Mate as he spit out blood, cracking his jaw back into place
[Muk] "No matter, his body shouldn't take much more. He doesn't have the Raid Suit like I do. I'll finish this soon!"- Muk declared, panting heavily

The First Mate, despite the disorienting impact, managed to rise, uttering curses directed at Akira. The Raid Suit, a crucial component in his survival, had shielded him from what could have been a fatal blow. The seamless integration of his Lunarian physiology with the advanced technology was evident, although the Raid Suit bore visible signs of wear and tear. The battlefield, now a terrain of attrition, hosted two heavily damaged adversaries—one subjected to the effects of sealstone.

Just as the impending clash between the combatants seemed inevitable, Muk's Den Den Mushi resonated audibly, the sound carrying enough for Akira to overhear.

[Voice] "Muk! Will you stop playing over there?! We've recieved reports the Marines broke through the plaza. Cletus has fallen. The Marines are on their way to Rainbase."- the voice said, updating the Vampirate First Mate with the current landscape
[Voice] "Your forces must intercept them. Our forces there cannot withstand an assault without back-up!" Move out!"- the voice implored, cutting off the feed

The Den Den Mushi, after conveying its urgent message, closed with a decisive clack. Behind Muk, the surviving Vampirates landed, poised and awaiting further orders. Simultaneously, efforts were made to rescue and secure the unconscious members of their crew. Muk, upon absorbing the report, clenched his teeth in contemplation. The decision before him was a profound one—to persist in the battle for pride or to fulfill his duty.

On the other side, Akira faced a comparable dilemma. The battlefield, marked by the scars of prolonged conflict, experienced an unusual and temporary cessation. A palpable tension lingered in the air as both adversaries weighed the significance of their choices. In the distance, a large bird, having been watching the battle, approached.

Onigumo, in this moment, truly resembled a demon, a manifestation brought forth unwittingly by Leo's actions. One brought forth by the uncaring scowl that Onigumo hated so much, now painted on Leo's face. His words were lost in the man, who had dug down to his primal beast, seething in hate. A roar signified his response as Leo looked upon him stoically. In the sky, true strength would be determined. The confrontation between Leo and Onigumo reached a critical point, the tension escalating as both combatants prepared for a cataclysmic clash.

Leo, driven by a Justice Onigumo could never understand, launched himself towards Onigumo with unbridled determination. The Spider King, refusing to back down, unleashed his own formidable techniques, utilizing a combination of Geppo, Tekkai Kenpo, silk, and deadly poisons to close in on Leo. Onigumo's blades vibrated with the intensity of his haki, creating an ominous aura around him as he snarled in defiance. Leo, stoic and unwavering, met Onigumo in the middle. The clash that ensued was nothing short of cataclysmic, a collision of immense strength, willpower, and deadly techniques.

[Onigumo] "LEOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"- screamed Onigumo as he charged forth

1847

The large explosion in the sky drew the attention of both Marines and Vampirates alike, the spectacle overshadowing the ongoing battles in Dressrosa. As the forces converged near the Bridge, the fate of the Battle of the Sky unfolded in fiery fashion, creating a visual spectacle that rivaled the intensity of the conflicts on the ground. The sky itself seemed to tremble with the force of their confrontation. The eyes of both the Marines and Vampirates were fixated on the tumultuous clash, waiting to see which force would emerge victorious in this decisive aerial battle.

Leo, as the smoke cleared, was met with the ominous sight of Onigumo seemingly unmoved by their clash. The Spider King, having endured the brunt of Leo's attack through sheer will, had sacrificed a sword and two arsm in the process. Only six arms left. The broken blade and limp arm, however, were minor concerns compared to the impending threat. Spider silk, skillfully launched from Onigumo's wings through the use of Life Return, had sought to entangle Leo's limbs and restrict his movements before the smoke cleared - a sneak attack.

With but a bated breath waited, Onigumo, displaying his tenacity and determination, thrust his remaining swords at Leo's chest with primal aggression. The blades converged at a single point, unleashing a barrage of deadly forces—haki, airblade, Rokouyougan, and poison. The culmination of these elements created a powerful explosion that erupted outward, intent on engulfing Leo in a devastating onslaught.

Road to Rainbase @Infinity @Dream
As the echoes of victory resounded through the Plaza, the Marines, led by Vice-Admiral Link, reveled in their triumph. Hina, securing the hostage Cletus D. Sol, under the perilous orders of Admiral Akainu. However, Vice-Admiral Link intervened, asserting his newfound position as the Hero of the Plaza and asked her to hang up. Despite the interruption, the authority of an Admiral prevailed. Hina kept the line open as the troops listened to Vice-Admiral Link. The Hero of the Plaza had charted their next route: east. The Marines roared in unison with fervor.

With the Marines ready to heed their next directive, the atmosphere was charged with anticipation. Just as the fervor began to wane, a distinctive voice pierced through the Den Den Mushi, capturing the attention of all present.

[Admiral Akainu] "Bring the hostage to the Bridge. I'll decide his fate."- the infamous deep voice of the Admiral boomed through the den den mushi

The Bridge that Admiral Akainu mentioned. The Marines had been briefed on the location. A bridge existed beyond Rainbase and Alubarna that led to Germa Castle, where the execution platform awaited. That was their ultimate goal.

With the Plaza now cleared of combatants, the main Marine troops surged in from the sea, establishing camps along the trail. The aftermath of the intense battle lingered, and soldiers from both sides had retreated or been incapacitated. In this temporary lull, the Marines found a rare moment to catch their breath. The air was thick with the residue of conflict, and the soldiers took a moment to regroup, tend to their wounded, and prepare for the challenges that lay ahead on the journey toward Germa Castle.

As the main troops prepared to move East, they discovered an unexpected sight on the trail to Rainbase. Unconscious bodies of Vampirates littered the path, and signs of a fierce battle were evident. Confusion hung in the air. Was this the aftermath of Capone Bege's actions, or was there another force at play?

The largest building on the horizon, the Rainbase Casino, stood as a distant beacon. The Marines would have to tread carefully, wary of the unknown challenges that lay ahead on the path to Germa Castle.

All around the battle progressed in different ways. Even as he was struck by the boulder, Shaarib unleashed a flood of water that would quickly fill the area, enough that it even would impede Larsi. He was doing his best to deal with both of the supernovas he was facing, and likely wasn’t happy about Larsi’s interference. Best to not let his guard down in case he wanted to exact revenge for the interference.

Lira and Lacroix emerged from the rubble, shaken but still alive, potentially still willing to do battle with the pirate. At the same time John Giant cleaved the massive boulder that was traveling his way, neutralizing the threat. Immediately following this, the leader of the trio would launch an airblade that traveled towards Larsi himself. Around the arena, pieces of stone and metal that the pirate had manipulated to throw at his foes before, were once again pushed away from the center of the arena, settling seemingly harmlessly against the walls.

Still clutching both juttes, Larsi waited until both the wave of water and airblade had almost reached him, keeping his eyes on John Giant. Then he leapt upwards. It wasn’t a very impressive jump, not even quite his body height even. But it did leave him at an upwards angle from all the pieces of metal he had manipulated.

So when he pushed again, his body shot upwards, well above both the water and airslash. To the uninitiated it would seem as if invisible forces had pulled him skywards, which wasn’t too far from the truth, but the mechanic would be harder to figure out. Maybe John Giant would think it was an ability from his devil fruit, since he seem to think that Larsi still possessed the power. Truly a shame that even after having fought his colleagues in Impel Down and then fought more publicly in Briss, the World Government had not come to the realization that he no longer had the Gura Gura no Mi. Had Blackbeard not put the power to use publicly?

Regardless, Larsi now faced John Giant head on in the middle of the air. The latter was already bearing down on the pirate, even as Larsi was flying directly towards his foe. Both juttes darkened as he struck his right one forwards, catching the vice admiral’s attack on the prong, stopping it in its path. Twisting his jutte sideways, Larsi attempted to leverage his greater strength to tear the weapon from John Giant. However, at the same time he struck his left jutte forwards, aiming to drive it into the center of the marine offircer’s torso.

Styx: This could be a form of a block, disarming technique, or preparation to counter an attack. The user traps incoming attacks between the shaft and prong, disarms it by twisting the jutte, and then launches a quick thrust to their body using the other jutte.

Shaarib was interested, while Killer was hit by the water dragon, Kidd evaded the wave by using his magnetism. The red-haired had propelled himself using the scrap he had accumulated. With his powers, the supernovae assembled them to form a giant robot composed of two arms and torso in which Kidd was probably hidden. The Vice-Admiral couldn't hide his excitement, with Killer out, it was time for SHaarib to kill his captain and get his hands on this fruit. It would be helpful if one of the great minds of the government got his hands on it. Kidd had wanted to take advantage of Larsi's attack to crush Shaarib and the man welcomed it with open arms. The Vice-Admiral was hit and slowly disintegrated, it was an afterimage.

Kami-e "Zanshin" (紙絵「残身」 Kami-e "Zanshin"?, literally meaning "Paper Drawing: 'Remaining Body'): Used by Stussy. Instead of the body becoming limp like paper, the user appears to relax but actually moves with high speed around their opponent, leaving the opponent to attack an afterimage of the user.
51 Mastery, 51 Reaction Speed, 51 Movement Speed. Can be countered with 1 tier above reaction speed or 2 tiers above Awareness Observation Haki ==> + 20 in reaction Speed ==> Still 120

By the time the fighters realised the trick, Shaarib was already sky high, moving in the same zig-zag pattern toward the torso. When the skypien appeared his legs were already extended , coated with hardening and clad with black lightning. Shaarib had wanted to use the attack moments ago before the Giant's intervention. With the Conqueror's Haki, he had no need for his drop kick to connect with Kidd's robot. The damage would transmit and unlike the Rokuogan he had unleashed previously, this one was focused on thing only, to destroy Kidds's organs. The Vice-Admiral sincerely hopped, he would succeed and sent the pirate right into the sea water.

Soru ==> +20 movement Speed ==> SHaarib's movement Speed is now at 120

Rokuougan Kyoryu Ha! (Six kings Dino Wave Gun :
Just like rokuougan shoot this is a more concentrated version of that technique. Overflowing with power the user dashes madly at their opponent with all the speed they can muster before dropping down on them with a double dropkick, amplifying the 'blast' while also knocking them backwards several yards away if connected.
S+ Rank(100 Mastery, 100 Strength, 81 Armament Haki, 81 movement speed ) ==> 5 + 5 + 3 +1 ==> 14. Planet Level

The Vice-Admiral bounced backward and threw at the pirates three purple balls. Two crashed into the ground while one meant for Killer tried to bounce on his back. instantly, the ground began to shake a black carnivorous plant rose from it. Jaw fully open, the specimen from West Blue launched itself at them and tried to gobble them up.
The ground beneath them began to shake and the seed Sharib had planted, sprouted and spread. Huge tree roots came out and targeted Killer and Larsi. The first because it was an opportunity to seize and the latter because Shaarib had wanted to make him realize how troublesome it was when other people meddled into your business.

Demon Star Memory Recall Tree: Dennis can control the roots of the Okunenju and use them to attack his opponent and even hurdle their path and vision. The plant, however, takes 2 turns to grow and requires a large amount of energy to manipulate. It can last up to 4 turns.

- DPR: A, requires 81 Mastery, AOE = Mastery - 6 slots ==> 100 meters ==> 3 + 3 ==> 6. City Level (121+, Zoans only)

@Ichimonji @Infinity

Like a moth to a flame, words were being spread about the climatic battle that unfolded and who won from it. The Marines had taken the 1-0 in terms of having defeated a single high officer of the Vampirates, to many appearing as if deceased. Following the conflict, i'd use momentum to have the marines followed by the pacifistas that we were heading eastwards. Unknown was still in the air as to what resided in the east direction until a click and a familiar voice could be heard.

[Admiral Akainu] "Bring the hostage to the Bridge. I'll decide his fate."- the infamous deep voice of the Admiral boomed through the den den mushi
Raising my eyebrow, oblivious to what he was referring to, despite all the marines being briefed about the site all but me. For all the marines who were briefed of such i was just provided the following details:

Report given to Link said:
Please take this report as your only debriefing. You've been given special permission to perform your marine actions against your old comrade "Gambit" and his kidnapping of marine soldiers and stating their execution.

Your duties only lay where you save those marine hostages by any means necessary.

By the way, please find a marine battleship that you could use at your own whim.
Please, please don't do anything stupid!
(handwritten last minute)
So hearing about a bridge had me confused as to where this bridge was and its importance in what was to come. Opening my mouth about to ask a question, instead, I'd hold it in as we made my way forward with Hina, the marines and pacifists trailing our coattails until we got to a location where we group recuperate behind enemy lines. For a trail of incapacitated vampirates were scattered all around, by whom was still a question as every inch of where we were a battlefield.

Taking a rare chance as we would catch our breaths, tents were put up with every soldier who'd suffered some sort of damage would be treated as priority as a marine with a first aid box arrived before me.

" I'm okay " ... as i swung my arm then felt a snap and squealed writhing in pain as the marine looked on not pleased, immediately opening the first aid box and treating my wounds. With my wounds being treated i'd spot Hina then turn my focus towards her and ask:

" This bridge Akainu was on about, where is it to where we are? ... I wasn't debriefed on the matter "

Akira’s sneak attack was an incredible gambit, one that requires him to act defeated even for a short few second, and to trade of damage to pull off a great stunt. However, even despite his gambit – Muk managed to react to it, though despite the great defense by the Vampirates, perhaps Akira’s attack manages to catch him off-guard enough that a proper defense wasn’t mounted. Akira’s attack would break through Muk’s guard as the palm strike connects against his chin, a powerful shockwave would reverberate through from the chin outwards as a large hand print would appear from anything that came off from Akira’s direction of his palm strike. The attack was incredibly powerful, that even propel Muk off from where he is stood – flung into the skies before eventually come crashing down onto the platform, where Akira has already backed off after flipping himself upright to maintain a distance.

From the rubbles, Muk stood undefeated, but he too has suffered major damage, although not as much as Akira in comparison. Breathing heavily yet unaware of his exhaustion, his mental state temporarily inhibited those thoughts and pain. Laser focused on Muk whom seemed ready to continue fighting as he declared the intention to finish this as soon as possible. A battle of attrition is not on Akira’s side in his current state. The boy himself is aware of it. Another sneak attack like this would no longer work against Muk, it was Akira’s strategy to take down Muk given his current state. If he fails, the chance of defeating Muk would quickly slip. However, just as the fight is about to renew – the Den Den Mushi rung.

Puru puru puru

Voices from the Den Den Mushi would quickly spoke in quite a panicky tone. Akira however, notice the pause of combat. As the Den Den Mushi spoke, Akira immediately swing Twilight’s Edge around, wielding the sword now in reverse grip. It is something Akira did not wish to do, but right now there is no choice. He has thought about the possibility of an internal explosion before, but even until now – Muk have yet to trigger something like that at all when he has all the opportunity, especially right now. Akira has two choices to make, to continue using the Raid Suit against the Vampirates were they already have a way to deal with Akira not just with Muk but the others as well – or to destroy it and prevent the weapon being used against him.

Akira chose the latter. Swinging his sword in a cross-shape on himself with force, but also gently enough that the blade would slide and cut the raid suit but not the skin. No matter how ‘tight’ the raid suit manages to latch on it, it is still a raid suit – with enough damage it would completely cease to be. It would have been impossible to remove the Raid Suit whilst fighting Muk, but the damage the raid suit has accumulated from the start, and now with the slight pause in combat would allow Akira to deal the last blow to his own Raid Suit, aimed to destroy the raid suit and thus free Akira from the sea stone. With that, if successful – Akira would finally make his transformation into his True Hybrid form almost instantly once the sea stone fragments no longer attaches themselves onto him.

Akira's DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + A: +3 (Sword Rank) + CoA: +2 (Black Blade) = 9. Small Country Level x2

His mental state, Mushin would deactivate with the success of the removal of the raid suit and with that, pain and exhaustion sets in though for the latter is mitigated somewhat with the increase of physicality to match. Yet erratic breathing and pain that he took from his human body left Akira mangled. Now likely left without the raid suit, the identity of Kurai could no longer be used in this war, or least be associated with the raid suit. Still covered behind his outfit and black bandages – Akira’s next identity that is left is now ‘Raven’ for the time being.

Entrance to Colosseum @Kaka

Leo DPS: 13. Moon Level
Onigumo DPS: 12. Large Continent Level

Leo New DPS: 8. Island Level
Onigumo Dura: 7. Mountain Level (Tekkai Kenpo enhanced) + (2 Haki) = 9. Small Country Level

Onigumo DPS: 12. Large Continent Level
Leo's fist roared forward, erupting with Busou-shoku no Haki, Hao-shoku no Haki and the powerful reverberations of Hasshouken, unleashing a mighty blast. Onigumo, now an amalgamation of fear, chaos and death, answered in kind. However, the presence of Hao-shoku no Haki in Leo's attack, caused Onigumo's own attack to fall short, and Leo's attack engulfed him in a powerful blast. A momentary victory, but there was no time to dwell on it. As the obscurity from the clash started to clear, all that were onlookers, for the clash had warranted the attention of many, would see Leo and Onigumo still at almost point blank range, the clash never having blasted them away from one another. Instead, they pushed on. Onigumo had used his spider silk in conjunction with Life Return to ensnare Leo's limbs with powerful binding. No doubt, Onigumo's follow up attack was coming.

But, Leo was hard to bind. Not only because he was powerful, but because his body was unpredictable. After all, he was now half man... and half machine. As Onigumo's swords came toward, the tips of the blades converging to a single point that aimed to pierce and blow away, Leo's fist was imbued with powerful Busou-shoku no Haki. He could not move his arm well due to the binding silk, certainly not well enough to initiate a punch. But, he did not have to. As the swords came forward, Leo's right arm separated at the wrist and his fist was launched forward, clad with powerful Busou-shoku no Haki, once again reverberating with Hasshouken shockwave energy. This time, a stronger version of the technique Leo had just used.

Hasshō-ken, Reverberating Dragon King...!

120: 5. Town Level + S+:+5 + COA: +3 = 13. Moon Level

The mechanical fist of Leo's Battle Smasher, a memento of his sensei, Zephyr, repurposed, would collide with the tips of the blades, unleashing a powerful shockwave. Once again, Leo aimed to prevail, his attack stronger than Onigumo's own, intending on blowing him away, as well as destroying the silky binding with raw power.

It is time to settle this, Onigumo. Who will prevail? I will show you true power. It can only be awakened by true resolve.

Sovereign War #15
(Alabasta / Ichimonji's Group)

Alaburna - City Center @Sea
The battlefield, marked by the scars of prolonged conflict, experienced an unusual and temporary cessation. A palpable tension lingered in the air as both adversaries weighed the significance of their choices. The Marine forces had successfully broken through the plaza, redirecting their path towards Rainbase City. The majority of the Vampirate forces seemed to be concentrated in this city, home to the Royal capital. However, all Marine forces had converged on the Casino, possibly due to the influence of the Spada Pirate. This change demanded a shift in tactics. The Vampirates required the leadership of their First Mate. Muk clenched his teeth, growling with determination as the pain surged through him. His face expressed a fierce desire for revenge.

Suddenly, a large figure landed between Muk and Akira, beautiful feathers gently touching ground.

[Pell] "Sir Muk. I've alerted Rainbase of your approach. I'll hold him here until then."- the Guardian of Alabasta said, forcing Muk to lower his fists

[Muk] "You're lucky this war takes precedent, Raven. Before the day ends, we'll meet again..."- said the First Mate as he grit his teeth, ordering his camp to leave

Pell, arriving unexpectedly, had been keeping an eagle eye on the ongoing battle. His sudden presence prompted the First Mate of the Vampirates to acknowledge the gravity of the situation. With a glare of hatred directed at Akira, the man then turned to his surviving crew members. Ordering them to depart for Rainbase immediately, the Vampirates cleared the scene, leaving behind a state of confusion. The First Mate ordered them to leave to Rainbase at once.

Pell, fixing his gaze on Akira with his claws at the ready, gave a subtle wink - a signal. The Guardian intended to mediate the conflict, having the Vampirates leave Alabasta's capital.

The departure of Muk and their forces left a lingering sense of bewilderment in the aftermath.

Entrance to Colosseum @Kaka
The ongoing aerial battle had captured the attention of everyone on the battlefield. The combatants at the colosseum and the clash between the two formidable forces in the sky had indelibly marked the landscape of the war. The outcome of these airborne struggles would ultimately determine the fate of the passage to Germa. The Vampirates, witnessing the overwhelming power in the sky, saw their forces thinning, especially with the majority and strongest committed to Germa. Put short, the Vampirates were bewildered.

The Spider King, Onigumo, shared their predicament, unable to comprehend how he was forcefully thrown backward, his silk bindings failing to restrain his self-proclaimed rival. The resulting shockwave brought the Vice-Admiral crashing to the ground, creating a momentary pause in the intense aerial confrontation.

Unbeknown to Leo, laying in the ground, Onigumo was having a flashback of his own.

The rugged terrain bore the scars of a brutal confrontation, marked by craters and the residue of spilled blood, both fresh and dried. The atmosphere hung heavy with the lingering spirit of the fierce duel that had unfolded. At the epicenter of this desolate training ground lay Onigumo, sprawled on his back in human form, the wounds inflicted upon him appearing fatal, with his fangs gradually receding. Over him loomed a shadow, taking the shape of a Chimera—a creature of myth.

As the shadow transformed into an elderly but robust figure, the spirit-clad man delivered a deliberate kick, jolting the Vice-Admiral awake and compelling him to meet the gaze of disappointment.

[Chimera] "Lost control. You're not ready. A failure. If you're unable to harness what you have in your heart, your inner beast will take over. You'll be lost forever."- said Chimera with a tone of derision
[Chimera] "Next time, I won't be there to stop it."- the Braveheart said, turning his back on the wounded Onigumo

As the dissipating smoke unveiled a pair of shut eyes, they suddenly burst open, radiating an intense purple glow. A thunderous roar erupted, resonating through the very ground and instilling fear in the hearts of those miles away. This roar was not born of humanity, nor was it the product of the supernatural. It was the primal cry of a beast, propelled by base desires and fueled by an unrelenting tide of hatred. A metamorphosis of the mind, triggered by reliving being at the ground at Leo's feet, just like in Pangea.

Leo's final words, mocking Vice-Admiral Onigmo with concept of "true resolve," proved to be the breaking point.

A true beast awakened.

Rising from the dissipating smoke, a colossal figure loomed, dwarfing even Onigumo's original hybrid size. Every muscle was tightly coiled, exhibiting pronounced ripples. Eight glowing purple eyes fixated on the surroundings, accompanied by the ominous return of the eight spider legs, two having regenerated. The entire monstrous form was ensnared in spider silk, and the venom that dripped from the fangs sizzled as it met the ground. A black cloud enveloped the transformed body of Onigumo, marking the completion of the horrifying metamorphosis. The Vice-Admiral, now a growling behemoth, was rendered speechless by the sheer ferocity of the transformation.

Enter a true beast. Enter an Awakened zoan.

Road to Rainbase @Dream
Guided by Vice-Admiral Link, the Marines pressed forward toward Rainbase City. The trail they traversed was marked by the fallen bodies of defeated pirates, providing a brief respite for the Marine forces to tend to their injuries before confronting the anticipated resistance. One such Marine grabbed the trash from the First Aid that Link used, almost as a sports memento; Link had truly become a hero for them. The atmosphere was stifling, with the arid heat of the air and the treacherous path through the desert challenging the resolve of the advancing troops. Nonetheless, they pressed on, leaving the sandy ground imprinted with the footsteps of their determined march.

Vice-Admiral Link approached Hina, seeking information about the Bridge mentioned by Admiral Akainu. Perplexed by the unfamiliarity of Vice-Admiral Link, Hina's expression shifted to bewilderment. Displaying a map on a nearby rock, she proceeded to provide a detailed explanation of the topography of Sovereign Island, dispelling any confusion about the terrain for her fellow Marine.

[Rear Admiral Hina] "Hina explain. Sovereign Island was created out of patches of land made by three kingdoms: Alabasta, Dressrossa, and Germa. Alabasta to the West. Dressrossa to the East. Germa at the center, floating in the Sky. That's where the execution platform is: Germa Castle."- said Hina, her finger moving over the map
[Rear Admiral Hina] "Landayan Morrow created this island. He controls the air. The waters are filled with Sea Beasts. Thus, the only realistic approach is by ground. The only way to access Germa by ground is through either of these bridges. The Bridge of Hesitation."- continued Hina, holding Link’s gaze
[Rear Admiral Hina] "Hina knows. The Bridge is past Rainbase City."- explained Hina, pulling her shades over her eyes, pointing to the horizon

Hina's finger pointed to Rainbase City, now shimmering into view as a mirage passed through. As Vice-Admiral Link and the Marine forces approached Rainbase City, the imposing casino with a gold crocodile atop it dominated the skyline. The city, built on a raised rock, was surrounded by a small industrial town. The massive structure was heavily fortified, with cannons stationed strategically on buildings and overlooking the desert, prepared for any potential threat. Only four entries existed, four massive staircases leasing to the town: East, West, North, and South.

With the significance of the Bridge becoming more evident, the city appeared to be a formidable stronghold. The trail of unconscious bodies left by the Vampirates hinted at potential challenges and secrets within Rainbase City.

Vice-Admiral Link would have to man the strategy for the siege.

Onigumo = Awakened Form / 121+ physical stats
Leo's punch unleashed a mighty shockwave, one strong enough to push through Onigumo's attack and send him crashing back down to the ground. Leo landed thereafter, the two combatants now back on ground level. In the background, Alpha and Omega battled, the latter supported by the Replicas' and the Chirons' offensive and supplementary schemes. The lasers and explosions in the background would serve as a good backdrop for the monster that was awakening.

Onigumo, rocked by Leo's powerful attack, had regressed to memories of the past. Memories of a time when he was learning how to become a monster - under the tutelage of none other than the legendary Marine, Chimera. The memories awoke Onigumo as he rose. His body underwent further transformation, growing even more so in size, musculature, but most importantly, its primal power. Awakening. Black smoke coiled around his neck, signaling the presence of a beast.

Leo clenched his fists, the venomous presence of Onigumo's power flooding the battlefield. Almost on instinct, Leo answered in kind. Red lightning started to rumble around him and a wave of Hao-shoku no Haki swept the battlefield, fighting inch for inch against Onigumo' primal presence.

Now staring at a monster, there was no reason for Leo to speak any further.

I did not expect such potential from this man. Hopefully, he can survive this...

Leo said, oddly enough hoping for Onigumo's survival. As Leo said those words, his left hand reached into his clothing. From his clothing, Leo pulled out a container with a mighty, radiating, glowing stone inside it. Leo loaded it into his Battle Smasher, getting ready for the final bout. What he was up to, was anyone's guess - certainly, it was lost on Onigumo, who at this point was a beast.

But the world needs blood to turn it upside down."

"A world turning in blood will never stop spinning until it drowns in pain. If we can get the hostages freed, maybe this wound can start healing. Let us go then." Yasashí answered.
A breath of resolution. A slow inhalation expanded Yasashí's ribcage as he stood to his full size, taking in not just air but the entiretiy of the tunnel he was in, the contours of the ceiling, the faces of his comrades and the smell of earth surrounding him. And then the exhalation, pushing out all distractions, lowering his gaze from the ceiling to his left hand, shaped like a soft mitten with cute toe beans, fully relaxed as the rest of his body tensed up like a coil of springs.
All that tension was released mid step, each muscle jerking a quarter inch, like a full body sneeze that propelled Yasashí to just under the ceiling of the tunnel. His soft paw compressed against the rocky surface before the final bit of tension released, pulling it away as if he´d burned himself on a hot stove.
He landed softly on his digitigrade feet, and turned to the others:

"We should be going then. Err, preferably in the next 12 seconds..."
The user holds back his killer instincts so much that the impact from his attacks happens with a delay.
(41-50) quick jab is enough (no full punching motion)
(71-80) 12s delay
Retreating Fist (51 Mastery, 51 Strength, 51 Musicianship) Rank B
A delayed punching attack, but it "pulls" with the palm instead of punching with the fist, for example launching parts of the floor into the air to hit or obstruct opponents. Can knock an opponent off balance (indirect hits are one dpr lower)
Scales off (Strength+Musicianship)/2
(61+61)/2=61

61-80: 2. Small Building Level +2 (B) = 101-119: 4. City Block Level

I´m gonna show that ceiling who´s boss!
Just a short moment after the group departed, the force of Yasashí's attack would attempt to pull down the tunnels ceiling, cutting off all access to the path to the Smile factory. The decision was settled, they would go to Lord Gambit's castle.
But they weren´t meant to get there unhindered. Halfway through the tunnel, two men came along in the opposite way, dressed in royal garb and carrying ornate weapons. Yasashí did not recognize these men, and he didn´t see if his companions did either. He spoke up:

"Are you gentlemen royals from the Country of Dressrosa? I am sorry, but this tunnel has just been blocked. You cannot evacuate this way. If you want to try finding your way to safety, you need to enter the tunnels a short walk further to the shore. I don´t know where all the tunnels lead to, but you ought to be safer in there than on the surface. Now if you will excuse us, we have important advice to give to Lord Gambit."

Underground Tunnel to the Lord's Castle @Magimasterkarp

The Armies of Revolution pressed on, traversing the winding path that led to the tunnel snaking toward Gambit's castle. Yasashi, the master of arcane arts, had already woven spells to thwart their pursuers, sealing off all but a secret passageway known only to the Vampirates.

Two noble heirs emerged from their sanctuary after the Mink's endeavour to obstruct their path.

"Are you gentlemen royals from the Country of Dressrosa? I am sorry, but this tunnel has just been blocked. You cannot evacuate this way. The visage of Prince Ohm contorted into a scowl upon hearing the news. Of the two siblings, his shadowy nature was always the darker. He spoke, "My name is Prince Ohm and this stupid-looking guy is Arthur."

Arthur butted in, "We are Princes of Atlantia. A kingdom to all Fishmen opposing the Ryugu Kingdom."

"Sadly, following our older brother's decision to join Lord Gambit, we are now trapped in this war."
, Arthur continued.

"I don't care if you wished to speak with the Chief but nobody stops us where we want to be.", Ohm said, raising the trident he was wielding.

"The gateway to the castle is still a kilometre walk. You do realise what a Fishman is capable of, don't you?", he questioned the Mink.

As they conversed, a peculiar egg appeared from his trident, triggering a spell that summoned a dense cloud overhead. Swiftly, the cloud stirred a tempest, drenching the earth beneath them. Drawing on their mastery of fishman karate and navigation, the two royal heirs united their powers to control the water from the deluge. In a mere moment, they unleashed a torrential wave, drowning the cavern they now stood in, with a mighty force that echoed through the very depths of the realm. "Spear Wave."

Weather Egg: Gambit launches a large egg, which hatches to reveal a particular kind of weather.
- Unranked, requires 81 Navigation

Spear Wave: A technique used on a body of water's surface. The user heaves a spear-shaped burst of water with enough force to punch a hole in solid structures.
- DPR: B, requires 51 Cursed Trident, Neptune, 51 Strength

As the torrent surged, the cavern would soon be engulfed in a deluge vast enough to submerge it. Swiftly, the pair would glide through the waters, their aquatic agility propelling them past the guards of rebellion, towards the hidden passage that winds its way to the Coliseum...

The Corrida Battleground @Larsi @Emperor Cross

John Giant propelled himself towards the pirate, trailing his air blade ploughing the ground. In a blink of an eye, he jumped above Larsi and swung down his arsenal. However, this was easily trapped by the other within the prong of his Jutte and then used the other one to deliver a destructive blow against his torso!

John once again coughed up blood and had his pupils vanish for several moments. The weight of the attack was too much even for his size. He was outclassed. The Marine would plummet a couple of metres away from Shaarib and Kidd.

In the heat of battle, Kidd surmised that Shaarib had lost consciousness, and thus, he unleashed a potentially fatal strike with his Punk Rotten, breaching his stout defences. But, as he extended his grasp, the Vice-Admiral deftly evaded him, zigzagging away and spiralling around him. Kidd's eyes followed the swift movements of his opponent, marvelling at his speed and agility.

No matter what speed you put in that. It was an obvious attempt to attack right in front of me.

With a steely resolve, Kidd commanded the Punk Rotten's two arms, which had previously failed him in battle. The captain knew that he must wait for the Vice-Admiral to draw near before striking with all his might from both sides, obliterating his opponent.

In the sanctity of his thoughts, he pondered without a sound. Now!

Matching the strength of the incoming assault, Kidd gestured the two gigantic metallic arms of the Punk Rotten to slam the Vice Admiral. "Punk Vise!"

Moon Level

Almost simultaneously and to supplement the remnants of the Marine's dynamite kick, with an incantation, he conjures a maelstrom of metallic shards, unleashing a barrage of jolting blows upon the Marine's Hero, to send him spiralling to the ground.

"Genocide Raid!"
Large Continent Level

And whether both attacks succeded or not, Kidd was determined to use his deadliest arsenal ever. Hmmm.

"ASSIGN."

In the art of magnetic force, the Kidd Pirates' Captain imbued Vice-Admiral John Giant with a distinct polarity. "S!"

To complete the spellbinding technique, the pirate bound the valiant marine to another warrior, Shaarib, by assigning a polarity opposite to that of Giant's. "N!"

Thus, the two champions were woven together in a dance of magnetic magic.

"Silver Hair!", he shouted at the top of his lungs to the fellow pirate.

"Let's end this now!"

"No! John!"
, Lira and Lacroix roared in their audience as they tried to move fast towards the criminals orchestrating the rebellion against the World Government.

With both combatants in quite a serious pickle, the only upside for Akira is that he can now fully transform into his Zoan forms. Although the increased physicality would not change much in regards to his exhaustion. With enough rest however, the boy would recover from it. The damage and injuries would remain throughout the war unless Akira decided to retreat from it, and he did not magically become much better when he transformed, the damage translated past his Zoan powers. A fight seems to be inevitable, but this time Akira is much stronger than before, thus he should now have the advantage. However, before any fighting could happen – Pell arrived. He would stand between Akira and Muk, quickly announce his intentions to hold Akira while Muk head elsewhere.

….

Silent. But the boy was confused – he expected the people of Alabasta to hold their positions elsewhere while waiting for help, presumably with the World Government. Pell’s arrival meant something changed from the original plan, and Akira wasn’t happy about that thought.

The boy took the opportunity to further rest, controlling his breathing to recompose himself as his body cools down. Before long, Muk would leave, calling Akira to be lucky. Or perhaps it was Muk’s luck that the fight did not continue. It is hard to say. But one thing is for sure, Muk no longer held any advantage in this situation, considering he failed to defeat Akira whilst the boy has a hand tied behind his back, metaphorically. This meant that future battles between Spada and the Vampirates would no longer be advantageous to the Vampirates, for more than likely, the raid suit would eventually be built from ground up to be out of Vampirates’ hands, if there are any still left.

For Akira’s case, this is the suit that was given by Daedelus as replacement from the damages in Fron Island, a different suit. This would have been impossible to prevent outside of not incurring any possible damage beforehand. The boy cursed Daedelus and La Spada silently. Perhaps this whole thing is the punishment. La Spada sent Akira to Fron Island, perhaps with the intention of replacing the raid suit with the original prototype given by the Vampirates back in Wano, rebuilt to be the same design but with the seastone fragment hidden within so he would be in this position during the war. Should he kill Daedelus afterwards? Akira thought for a moment.

But as the Vampirates fully retreated, or rather hurried themselves towards Rainbase, all that is left is Pell and Akira himself. The boy did not attack, for they both know the answer to that result. Unless Pell has something up his sleeves. Instead, Akira use Twilight’s Edge to hold up the remnants of the Raid Suit from the ground, before shredding quite literally the suit into tiny pieces. This wasn’t a sign of anger. But rather, given all that has happened, the Vampirates having control over the raid suits most likely meant that a strong possibility that the raid suits are bugged or rigged to a certain extent. Thus the need to destroy them to prevent the Vampirates from overhearing anything if they existed. Using Haki as well, Akira senses his surroundings – knowing full well that the Vampirates’ raid suit have invisibility. For Pell, whatever he intends to do, this would benefit him more than anything, as they do not wish to have them hearing anything between them. If there are no one around them, especially of the Vampirates, Akira started to speak.

“Why are you here?”

Akira questioned the reason for Pell to change from his original intention of hiding away till help arrives.

Larsi’s attack made contact with the other giant, crashing into him and sending him flying, dealing a devastating blow. After being struck by Larsi, John Giant somehow managed to be sent flying behind the former, towards the battle between Shaarib and the other pirates. Steadying himself high up the air using the magnets in the arena, Larsi turned to look in that direction. At the same time, below him several roots sprung forth, seeking him out in an attempt to snare him.

As he spun around, Larsi fiddled with the chains that wrapped around his wrists, taking his time to make sure he was doing it properly. As it was, he was not in any serious danger, especially given the only thing targeting him now were roots emerging from below.

Seeing that John Giant was likely not going to make a quick recovery to attack him and neither Lira nor Lacroix seemed to want to attack him, Larsi decided he would once again meddle in the other fight. His intent was strengthened once he saw that Kidd decided to use his powers on both of the Vice Admirals at once. The other pirate even called out for Larsi to assist him. Sensing Shaarib as the bigger threat at the moment, his silver hair shook as he nodded, affirm his assistance as Kidd launched his attack against the Vice Admiral.

The roots had climbed almost halfway up towards Larsi once he seemed to drop one of his juttes, only that the chain that had been wrapped around his wrist followed. Attached to the handle of his weapon, the chain unfurled from its coil around his arm, falling down with it. As it got down to the level the root had reached, Larsi swung his arm, tightening the chain. It was a simple attack, but combined with his strength and haki, it easily broke apart the wood long before it would reach him. What came next was worse.

Manowar. Larsi muttered, speaking the name of the stance he now had entered. With a swing of his other arm he threw the other jutte up in the air, then pulled at the chain that attached to it, swinging it down on Shaarib from the opposite side of Kidd. Immediately after he pulled his first chain upwards, bringing it up after dealing with the root, sending it a large arc to follow his other attack, also aiming to crash it into Shaarib in quick succession. Would the hero be able to deal with multiple of these attacks at once, or was he in serious trouble?

Hammerfall. Larsi’s voice was calm and controlled as he brought down the punishment. The marines had been warned.

Unnamed attack against root:
120: 5. Town Level + 3(CoA) = 8. Island Level, two above, very effective
Hammerfall: The user swings both Juttes down on their target in quick succession, slamming them both down one after another, aiming to first break through their defences, then destroy the target themselves without giving them any reprieve.
- DPR: S, Requires 100 in both masteries, strength and reaction speed. If at least two of the four stats are 120, the base rank is increased to S+.
120: 5. Town Level + 5(S+) + 3(CoA) = 13. Moon Level

~ The Sovereign War ~
[Post #15]
@Ichimonji

The atmosphere and morale of the soldiers were nothing but ripe with grins and enjoyment despite the dreaded heat having its own say in the matter but it wasn't enough to even demoralise the morale of the troops. The atmosphere had every soldier breaking into sweats, though there was enough to dwindle Mother Nature in ice packs and rations.

After i asked Hina about the plan she was referring to. Seeing as all other soldiers were debriefed on the matter, but me. The reasons why, i couldn't tell as I was in no seating position to know given the circumstances that transpired at the Pirate Festival. Before i could even grasp of the thought upon the reveal, Hina began debriefing the co-ordinates and planning from higher-ups.

I'd grab the water bottle and began chugging not wanting to dehydrate myself as she debriefed me on it.

I'd take a moment to sponge in everything stated by Hina before i could reflect, though she'd point with her finger to the Rainbase, the next destination. I'd then provide a warning to Hina, but not a warning of danger but someone who was likely to be a danger to all soldiers.

[Link]: " I see no wonder i am starting to feel like deja vu that I've been here before. Thank you Hina for the information. Though in my brief stint that i had when i was with the Silver Hairs, when Larsi led it. Landayan always felt like playing with someone with chess, so these patches of each kingdom likely were carefully annotated to be there. No matter the location, he's planned counter-attacks for counter-attacks. That's the person we are dealing with. "

It would be here where the soldiers led by myself approached Rainbase, we had now had the place covered by the rocks around Rainbase.

[Link]: " Hina get all the captains to analyse the soldiers under them, we need to know how many of us are ready and also check how many Pacifista's we have at our disposal. If we plan to go in, we better be ready for any possible outcome. "

My order to Hina was simple, we needed to gather our troops who were still high on morale though the blistering rays of the sun was now scorching more than ever. I'd then lean against back of one of the rocks that protruded upwards from the sandy terrain, thinking to myself just to think like none other than Gambit and/or Larsi in this situation and what they would do. Cletus who was bit on the outstretches of this makeshift island, just what kind of other trouble were lurking within. With Cletus defeated, i knew Larsi or Gambit must get a whiff of such development. There was just too much brainwave activity occurring, forcing me to shake my head with sweat protruding the more i'd think and question myself.

[Link]: " Damnit Link i need to compose myself, any sign of wavering or even a hint of hesitation and it's curtains for me "

Slapping my face with both hands, then taking a moment to sigh whilst taking a deep breath a lightbulb would flash as a plan came to mind though i had to see if Hina had checked on the soldiers.

The density of the situation was prevalent, whilst many faces were playing poker to remove many of those who remained at the top of some time. Even though being a Vice Admiral of the Marines, even my position was at risk and my very existence. Everything had to be precise, or it was a risk with catastrophe written on the cards.

# Shaarib thought the fun was over for the Supernovae but the man was magically able to follow the blur and react accordingly. The robot's hands tried to flatten him, and the Vice-Admiral changed his target. If he couldn't destroy the main part, he would at least destroy the hands. The metal and the shockwaves met and Kidd's tools weren't strong enough to stop it. The excess of energy was transmitted to it, and Shaarib hoped it would destroy them. At the same time, the pirate had the idea to send projectiles to the Skypiean. Shaarib, even with his reflexes was in no position to evade it. He had one choice, his body turned as hard as iron and he tried to deflect most of the shards coming at him. Hero was able to mitigate most of the risk but some of them still went through and Shaarib was sent backwards. Cuts appearing everywhere on his body.

- "Rokaru Area Network ! "
Requirements: 41 Mastery, 41 Strength and 61 Movement Speed
DPS: B ==> Injection A ==> 3 + 3 + 5 ==> 11. Small Continent Level
While moving at high speed, the user slashes at his opponent with both hands. Because of his high speed, it appears as if he was attacking with multiple hands.

Clash, Kidd's attack is 1 rank above, It loses 5 ==> 7. Mountain Level
Shaarib's durability with Tekkai is now 120: 7. Mountain Level
DPR equal to dura: normal damage

Shaarib shrugged it off, Kidd had no protection anymore, the third time was going to be the one. He bounced upward, and Kidd, the insect that he was, used magic once again. Blue energy appeared around the Vice-Admiral and Shaarib was hurled towards the ground. He resisted the best he could, but he couldn't prevent it. The mummy looked behind him and could see where he was being sent to. he was going to crash into John Giant. The older Vice-Admiral had gotten his ass beat by Silver Hair and lay on the ground unconscious. Shaarib's arm linked with the Giant's shin. Despite his best efforts, the marine was not able to disrupt the connection. His back was sewn to the giant's body.

A huge shadow caught Shaarib's attention. Lars's juttes were in the air, ready to finish Kidd's job. Shaarib couldn't move away, nor could he use the Gian't's body to protect himself. Shaarib joined his hands together, once again and unleashed a shockwave. The ground beneath them was destroyed and water began to pour toward them. The Marine let out a deep sigh. It wasn't over, the second Jutte came at the same speed. The Knight of the Sea used the water around him to counter. A flock of sharks went to meet the butte but tried to it side way. Shaarib wanted to deflect the jutte just a little for it to miss and hit John Giant. He was going to end up killed if things kept going this way. The Vice-Admiral deeply regretted the arrival of marine soldiers before. He had to find a way to separate himself from the useless giant. For that, he had to gain some time. He had the perfect solution. Shaarib immediately threw a little pearl into the sky, and it exploded, releasing a poisonous gas near the Giant's face.

Rokuogan ==> 13. Moon = Larsi's
Murasame (literally meaning "School of Shark"): The user throws the water which takes the shape of a flock of sharks which bite his opponent. It is essentially a more powerful version of his Yabusame technique.
Requirements: 100 Mastery, 81 Strength ==> 12, 1 rank under it, the leftover from Big-Eye's attack is 9.
OOC If it cannot be deflected, tell me I will make changes.
Destructive Potency Rank: S

Demon Star White Blossom Toxic Explosion: He releases a stream of toxic smoke using a pop grenade that penetrates through opponents and leaves them poisoned. ==> Releasing Hyper draining poison

Sovereign War #16
(Alabasta / Ichimonji's Group)

Alaburna - City Center @Sea
In the aftermath of the battlefield, the factions stood in a tense standoff. Pell, The Guardian, maintained his position, ensuring Muk and his Vampirate group could proceed towards Rainbase. The First Mate of the Vampirates vented his frustration, vowing to track down Akira. However, keen observation haki might reveal a hint of fear for the unshackled Shadow beneath the bravado. Pell locked eyes with Akira until the Vampirates departed to the East, en route to Rainbase. Through his mastery of Observation Haki, Akira discerned that he and Pell were now alone in the plaza.

The Vampirates had departed from Alubarna, the Royal City.

[Pell] "Thank you for your restraint. The Vampirates will have no choice but to send their remaining troops to Rainbase after you thinned them out."- the Guardian of Alabasta said, linking Akira's actions to his ploy
[Pell] "Alubarna will be Arabasta's bastion of hope. From here, the Royal Army shall make a stand."- said Pell, speaking about a possible Civil War to retake the kingdom

War had thrust itself upon Arabasta's doorstep, and The Guardian was not pleased with the risk it posed to their people. Expressing the need to secure ammunition, history, and the palace before taking a decisive stand, The Guardian emphasized the current golden opportunity, with the war raging and the Vampirates occupied. Alubarna, for the moment, was considered safe, with the Marines repositioning to Rainbase and leaving a significant gap. The Royal Army would be stationed here to safeguard their capital.

In response to Akira's question, Pell had posed inquiries about Akira's motives in return.

[Pell] "What about you? "- inquired Pell, his kingdom on his chest

Sovereign War #16

Entrance to Colosseum @Kaka

[Chimera] "Next time, I won't be there to stop it."- the Braveheart said, turning his back on the wounded Onigumo

The battlefield echoed with the primal roar of an Awakened Zoan, signaling the takeover of Onigumo's host. The aura, taking tangible form, spread across the battleground with a haunting purple hue, causing the very ground to crack. The sheer killing intent emanating from him was palpable, as Onigumo transcended human limits and entered the realm of the rare and formidable: the Awakened state. Despite the undeniable power this transformation granted him, it was apparent that the process wasn't perfected, hinting at Onigumo's struggle to maintain control. The clash of auras with Leo's Conqueror's Haki created an intense and terrible spectacle on the battlefield.

The clash of powerful auras created a disruptive force, causing dozens of onlookers from both the Vampirate and Marine factions to pass out. The competing energies formed a sphere of influence that pushed everyone away, leaving only Leo and Onigumo in the isolated arena they had inadvertently created. Amidst the chaos, a den den mushi on Onigumo's belt rang, and a familiar voice broke through the tumult. However, with the cacophony of battle and the primal roar echoing, Leo struggled to pinpoint the exact identity of the voice.

Without warning, Onigumo vanished from his position, launching a terrible assault.

[Onigumo] "ROOOOARRRR!!!! POWER UNLEASHED!"- roared Onigumo, his mind still there somewhere

Onigumo's Awakened form unleashed a relentless barrage of attacks, disappearing and reappearing around Leo with astonishing speed, one even faster than light speed (121+). Utilizing the Kamisori technique, Onigumo seamlessly moved, delivering a succession of devastating blows. Each reappearance marked the execution of a Shigan-powered poisoned sword trust that delivered a small Rokuyougan, accompanied by the launch of a human-sized web, creating a whirlwind of attacks from all sides. An onlooker would only see flashes of light around Leo. The flashes of light gave the impression that Leo was surrounded, facing an onslaught of overwhelming power.

Onigumo's Awakened state had removed the limitations of exhaustion, allowing him to execute two dozen consecutive attacks without pause at light speed. The power behind each strike was fueled by intense Haki, potent poison, and unyielding silk. The result was a series of impacts that, even one alone, could incapacitate even Yonko commanders. Leo faced two dozen. The silk left behind formed a cocoon around Leo, a snare.

Leo found himself engaged in a struggle to deflect, evade, or counter each attack, realizing that even breaking through one assault wouldn't deter Onigumo. The Awakened Zoan had indeed transcended his limits, presenting Leo with an unparalleled challenge.

Onigumo DPS: 13. Moon Level (two dozen attacks)

Rainbase @Dream
In the shadows of the Rocky Mountains to the Northeast of Rainbase, Vice-Admiral Link took charge of formulating the siege strategy. As the Hero of the Plaza, he held command over the Marine forces, a responsibility he needed to fulfill to reach Rainbase and join Admiral Akainu in securing the captive Cletus. Assessing the situation, Link collaborated with Hina, scheming behind the cover provided by the rugged terrain.

The pink-haired beauty meticulously tallied the numbers, ready to contribute valuable insights to their strategic planning.
[Rear Admiral Hina] "Hina report. Four Pacifistas. Rough estimate of our troops are 600 soldiers, 50 Lieutenants, 20 Commanders, and 10 Captains. And of course, you and I."- said the Rear Admiral, her eyes over the troops behind her

Hina's finger traced the map, indicating the strategic placement of their troops, strategically hidden behind the rocks, shielded from Rainbase's immediate view. As she emphasized her words, she subtly conveyed the significance of their roles in the upcoming siege. Despite their pivotal positions, Hina acknowledged the challenge ahead – breaking through the Vampirates' home turf required both skill and numerical superiority. The pink-haired tactician pointed at Rainbase on the map, cautioning Link to anticipate the unexpected and prepare for a heavily fortified city.

[Rear Admiral Hina] "Hina sure. The Vampirates do not have the manpower to rival our numbers. They'll use surreptitious means to fight back. We'd best be careful."- assured Hina, her eyes the horizon
[Rear Admiral Hina] "How do we proceed? Hina ready."- asked Hina, prepared to move out

Hina's gaze turned to Vice-Admiral Link, anticipating his command. A Rear Admiral handed Link a unique den den mushi, equipped with a telescope in the middle of the conch. As Link peered over the horizon, several critical observations came to light. Manned cannons strategically overlooked Rainbase, especially the stairs leading to the city. Surprisingly, the stairs appeared unguarded. Moreover, smoke billowed from four locations within the city, accompanied by occasional flashes of cannonfire. Signs of internal strife?

Armed with this information, it was evident that decisive action was needed. Time was of the essence.

Akira took his precaution to make sure that the Vampirates would not listen into their conversation. It was less of fear but rather caution, for the Vampirates did not know of what came to be between Akira and Pell earlier. Had they knew of what the conversation was, the people of Alabasta may have been in great danger. Though that said, the fact that they didn’t expect Akira’s arrival may ultimately mean that no such way for them to listen in through the raid suit either way. With no one else within Akira’s range to listen in, Pell and Akira could finally talk – where Akira questioned Pell’s appearance.

The Guardian of Alabasta thanked Akira for his help in pretty much forcing the Vampirates out of Alubarna due to the circumstances of the battle that taken place between the two where they had to head to the Rainbase to prevent the other side from falling. With that, Pell declared that now it is the time where Alabasta makes their own stand. Despite the failure of turning Alaburna into a death trap, Akira did in fact manage to cause quite a decent portion of the Vampirates’ ‘allies’ against them, and now Rainbase instead would become this death trap that Akira intended this city to be.

The boy was then questioned on his motives, which prompted him to think. He could head to Rainbase and cause further chaos. Heading deeper into the Vampirates territory might be problematic as he would not have the ‘back up’ of the World Government.

“I intended this place to be a death trap to lure both the Marines and the Vampirates into fighting.”

Akira suddenly spoke, not responding to Pell’s question. But instead spoke about his mind. This may come to as a complete shock to Pell, and even for those whom may know Akira in any capacity, something that the boy wouldn’t have mention. But for some reason, a hint of the Grim Reaper’s personality seeps into him. That only someone like La Spada would not have care about announcing their intentions out loud, carrying an air of confidence.

“But perhaps, this is for the best. That your people remains safe from harm, and could protect yourselves from both sides. From where I am, that did not exist.”

Ominous yet a hint of inner turmoil squeaks from Akira’s tone. Perhaps underlying his words, a part of himself preferred this to happen. Yet their declaration of self-independence has a problem. Not with Akira thankfully.

“But how are you going to defend yourself? It won’t be for long that the Vampirates realize what has happened. And once they do, they are going to fight even harder to regain control of this city, this city will become something even worse than a death trap.”
