The mitigation is mostly a success, as Akira’s managed to weaken the strike enough that he could conceivably deal with Muk’s attack head-on, yet the clash wasn’t as ideal as he would have thought – for the electrifying attack could still hit Akira, punching the boy with a rather effective hit, causing his body to burn from the electricity as well as its impact slam into the ribs, cracking several bones as the skin burns from the wound, blood dsplat out from the mouth from impact – but this is something that Akira expected, and his resilience allowed him to strike back hard, using a Soru-esque technique to catch Muk off-guard, this allowed Akira to leave a deep gash upon Muk’s raid suit and through his body. As Akira careen past Muk, a field of Electro shocked Akira – a powerful electricity surges into the boy once more, damaging the already weakened state further – but Akira this time, recognizes what it is, for he has not just seen it but experienced it. This forced Akira to be paralyzed in motion, unable to move in which resulted in the invisible Vampirates to get onto him, not just due to his inability to move but also because he temporarily lost track of them.
Akira's Dura on punch/electro: Normal damage to both
The boy may not recognize how the invisible Vampirates look, he can definitely feel the aura, the heat and the physical touch of the Vampirates, it isn’t simply being suspended onto the air, electricity continues to shock to whittle Akira’s ability to move further damaging him a little more. And with Akira caught, Muk reappeared in front of him once more, this time with a sword readied against him. Fire and electricity surges around the sword as a monstrous form taking into a dragon. The boy was surprised, but he reacted quick. He did not have to consider further, the boy knew something like this would happen, that the invisible Vampirates would do something like this – after all Muk this whole time has indeed been using his soldiers for various purposes so far. And as such, one of the main reason he did not use Conqueror’s Haki to knock them unconscious from the start. To save it for this particular timing. The boy’s battle plan is a gambit, one that he believes would lead him into success. Pain and death held onto Akira’s mind. But he battled those thoughts.
Akira's Dura on Vampirates' electricity raid suit: Not very effective
A burst of will, Akira responded with Conqueror’s Haki to knock his captors unconscious as Muk unleashed his dragon of thunderous and flaming fury into a maelstrom. Akira may have been slowed by the paralyzing effects, but there is one way to ‘speed’ himself. Even though he cannot move as fast as he was, his attacks could. With the three Vampirates knocked unconscious and would more than likely fall, Akira uses his foot to step onto one of them before he would jump above up, the shortest route. At the same time, Akira swung his sword upwards as he swpins himself, generating an airblade along his own sword to generate force and momentum that would carry him upwards. This would look like Akira was trying to use his own attack to avoid the maelstrom, but in no cases he could avoided it at such close range, yet with the vertical boost from his own attack Akira clashes against the maelstrom, with his body just slightly outside of the range of the attack.

Rank: S
Description: A variant of the Full Moon technique, rather than an Iai technique – the user spins and generates an air blade while striking the opponent at the same time, increasing the potency and power of the attack. [Pic 1] (91 Shuurin, 91 Strength)
Akira's DPR: 81-100: 3. Large Building Level + S: +4 (Sword Rank) + Black Blade: +2 = 9. Small Country Level vs 12. Large Country Level
Result: Attack is 3 DPR higher: Overwhelms the weaker attack but loses 2~DPR

The clash against the maelstrom would not succeed in Akira’s favour, as Muk’s attack is rapidly overpowering Akira’s attack in literal seconds, forcing the boy to stop his resistance against the attack, letting the Maelstorm through while the attack would propel Akira forward but also downwards through reverse momentum, this meant that Akira would fall into the tail end of the attack. But this time Akira had time to coat only himself in Haki, full body Haki. A very expensive action to take, for it would take quite a large chunk of his stamina to do so. But it is an action that would save his life.

As Akira falls into the attack, the combination of fire and electricity would bombard the boy, causing great damage not just to the raid suit but to his skin that would cause multiple 2nd and 3rd degree burns, similar to the same situation in Wano, but much worst off. The boy would seem to free fall head-first from the damage he took from Muk in front of him. From an outside perspective it would seem like Akira failed to defend himself against Muk, and is defeated. Only an empty sense of calmness and a weakened aura could be felt from Akira. But this is but a ploy. Akira activated Mushin, a mental state just as the attack hit him to make him look like he is defeated. Not only that, his raid suit completely covers Akira, even his face – making it pretty much impossible to physically tell from an eye-view. Akira’s initial attack was set up to close in on Muk with his uppercut-like attack, and now he is sufficiently close enough, and given Muk’s seemly confidence and arrogance – it may be enough to put him off-guard, even for a second, which is what Akira is looking for.
Suddenly, the boy made his move – he turned his body as black lightning crackles on the hand closest to Muk. With a single motion – Akira aim to strike directly on Muk’s face with an open palm strike. While it may look like a grab, the attack generates a powerful shockwave through from his palm to the target. With this, Akira aimed to defeat Muk, the damage to the head hopefully enough to knock him unconscious. A ploy to trick Muk to lower his guard, something Akira almost never do in such cases.

- Mushin (無心): A mental state that Akira achieved after his failure to kill La Spada. Upon further training in the Valley of Peace, Akira took upon the words of Oogway that inadvertently allowed him to enter a state of no mind, or rather a state in which his training as a warrior and as an assassin allows him to laser focus into his fights with incredible concentration - a clear mind.

During Mushin, the boy removes his killing intent completely - essentially preventing any forms of reading including Haki to be able to sense Akira's emotions beyond an empty state of calmness, this also makes his aura 'quiet' to the point of being similar to any other ordinary being that is indiscernible in a crowd - thereby making it difficult to gauge his power through Haki. His facial expression maintains essentially a perfect stoicism, similar to apathy to a certain degree. In this state, one may consider it to be the same as being 'in the zone', Akira's mental state becomes much greater than before - resulting in greater adaptive and intuitive mind, cognition and perception which meant not only is Akira is able to fight with no hesitation nor distractions, but also allow him to temporarily ignore pain - providing Akira with extreme efficiency during combat regardless of the injuries, damages or even death.
As Mushin is mental state of total concentration, the downside of this is mental exhaustion once he exits said state. This also means that longer usage means greater exhaustion.

The boy made no hesitation. His entire body hurts, and even with Mushin allowing him to temporarily ignore the pain, the damage from Muk managed to overpower it and the cost of using Haki without the benefits of a Zoan takes its toll considerably, nearly knocking Akira unconscious. But even if Muk wasn’t taken down, the damage to the suit is sufficient, enough that perhaps one more good hit to the Raid Suit would more than likely destroy it.
