# Shaarib’s journey went from joy to sadness in one night. Just a night after leaving Marineford , our hero woke up with newfound powers. He had not seen it coming, he woke up with more mass than usual, he took at least a hundred kilograms that he wasn’t going to lose easily. The Goddess had cursed him back to his previous self. The birdman was no more, now he was back as a man made of lightning. Shaarib was the same as he left Fishman Island. He was so surprised, he had to look at himself in the mirror. His beard grew, he had no more hair on his head besides that nothing changed, she preserved what was important: The scars.
It took the priest two to three days to fully understand what might have happened: Hubris. Shaarib took his powers for granted, he thought he was the peak already, he faced Akainu and came out of the brawl unscathed. And in his overconfidence, he thought he was acting in the name of the Goddess, instead, he took another road and was punished.
What he lost in raw power, he found in versatility. All the training he did in the Ryugu Forrest was still fresh in his mind. Shaarib Hassan was a new man. He destroyed the shrine he had made for the Goddess. He prayed alone until his target came in sight. To celebrate his rebirth, he was going to keep Hermès alive and probably try to keep some of the others too. It would be a change. He was no more a part of Absolute Justice. He had to learn more about himself first.
He had a new gear, he had Ayol rework the design of his coat. He was now wearing a sleeveless puffer Marine jacket on his normal clothes. Around his neck and wrists were his rosary beads. For today mission, he had predicted a bad weather so he preferred a bob on his head instead of his usual cap. As he walked out of his room, he could see how Ayol and Troya organized the troupes. Shaarib walked to the main bridge and clapped his hands 3 times: He was going to depart. Behind him, slowly appeared to cloaked soldiers. He chose them wisely. Naglfar was a fast ship but it couldn’t fly, SHaarib could and he couldn’t bring more than 2 people with him. He had to leave Ayol there to protect the ship. She was the highest-ranking soldier after him after all.
In front of the trio appeared a yellow cloud. The skypiean did a head nod to incite the others to climb on it. The cloud ascend fast. It was time for the 169th to reclaim their position as a dead squadron. It took them 4 minutes to get above the pirate vessel. Shaarib let himself fall towards the bridge and crash it with a loud noise. Some dust had formed and when it cleared up. The meters tall man was standing there, smiling as yellows sparks were creating around his body. #

Aboard the pirate ship, a large room that had some music playing could be heard. It was a soft music played on the harp, with aroma dancing in glee coming from the room. The door would shrug open making a creaking sound with a metallic screech. A blonde hair man with orange eyes that glowed walked in. He had a feathered hat. A slender man of medium height with skinny arms and legs sticking out of his clothes, with orange hair with flowing locks. A blue-ish jacket and tanned shirt underneath and trousers with dark tanned boots.
" Where's Meia? He needs to oil the door's syringes " would be rolled from the mouth of the Trickster. He would walk in making way to the fireplace to soak some heat with a chair placed near the fireplace and a short table that was made from wood.
Whereas another would take a bite that was drenched lightly with saliva would have cooked meat teared off his sword. It was a man with white hair, and white ornaments and a sheathe that laid on the table before him with some cooked charred meat. He would look at the Trickster and continue his munch.
Two voices could be heard, one feminine and one from a man. The two would be bickering and flirting with some banter here and there. But for long those with awareness type of haki would be alerted to something approaching.

The tricksters, who were witnessed the sudden bombardment as a huge crash that echoed throughout the ship. The tricksters all flooded around gulping as electricity flowed around a source with debris and dust kicked around covering the appearance. The ones closest to the epicentre would drop to their backsides as the ground beneath them was full of cracks.
Hermes would simply humm and then lick his lower lip " Delicious ". He only had to hear the damage and the words that came from the incoming attacker. With the tricksters all cocked their guns at the intruder aimed at the man.
# The wrong choice again, Gan Fall always preached politeness. He always said : Being polite helped get things done quicker. Shaarib did everything he was taught : He asked for forgiveness for the material damage, politely asked for the one he was looking and they still chose to threaten him. What has he done wrong this time ?
The young man scratched the bob on his head. He was lost in his thought when suddenly the answer came to him : He forgot to present himself ! Maybe if he had done that, they would have called Hermès already. Maybe if he had said :" Hi, I'm Vice-Admiral Shaarib Hassan" they would have been afraid and tried to run instead of trying to put up a fight against him. Rapidly a buzzing noise could be heard coming from Shaarib, the sparks of lighting that were around him at his arrival went to the hand and let out a blast of electricity supposed to take down the assembly around him. Shaarib smiled, he had let out the minimal output of energy to preserve the ship : It was a scientific marvel; but the birdman still put enough energy for all the people on the ship to feel what was going up#

The tricksters would watch as the man would raise his hands and appear as if he was comprehending with them. Hermes would remain quite but it hit him whilst remaining calm whilst drinking some tea. The cup would crack with him gazing bedazzled yet was composed at the possible prediction. ' I guess its like Hephaestus stated, i remember a call from that one. He boasted about the Spada's and how they've become a big shot since then. We Olympians, who've abstained from the worlds deals now are having them come to us. Destiny has been pre-ordained but now it looks like its beginning to crumble ' - This was the thought process hearing the volley after volley of sounds appearing from where the interloper came crashing in.

All the players arrived to the main epicentre, all at the same time had something hit them at the same time. They all utilised their observation haki sensing something was odd about the man behaving in the manner he did.

However it was little too late, as the tricksters who surrounded the man were late to notice or even comprehend. Sparkles would be heard but before any could react they were met with static that flowed through them stunning them all.
Peithos, Meia and Angelina all shocked got into their battle stances. Peitho would unsheathe both swords in a x like manner, then charge his attack coating them with some hardening. It would be further enhanced at the rage of what the man had done. He reacted out of feelings and not order, thus not noticing in what truly occurred. Peithos would jump into the air charging his swords with a thick coat of hardening. He'd then proceed to perform a circuling action providing momentum swining his sword downwards adding pressure to the man. As he roared " OTTTOORRRRRROOO ! "

While he was attacking, the temperature rose and rose, the buzzing sound got louder and louder until all the electricity stockpiled exploded in the air when met with the air blade. The heat created had permitted Shaarib to protect himself.

The smoke cleared and the Skypiean appeared safe. He cracked his neck and dusted himself while waiting to know if the pirate was hit or not. His mantra could help him locate people around him, but he wasn’t proficient enough to detect the opponent’s state.#
Time had slowed down, just as that the marine had already prepared to counter attack. Though the method of counter attack was more methodical strategic than straight up physically counter the Trickster commander. Peitho just barely kept up with the pace and tempo. He could barely sense the static that was shimmering at him like a target within an moment to lose a bolt of charged lightning slammed him to the deck, It cut into his skin causing a static shockwave that resonated through the deck of the ship. The vice-admiral looked at the bullet coming at him and changed his body in lightning; forming a hole in his upper body letting the bullet go past him.***

Shaarib knew who he was facing, it was Meia a man worth 330M of berries, an amount close to what he had. The intel Sengoku gave, said he was more of a thinker than a fighter so like the swordsman previously it was going to be quick. Repeating what he did some seconds ago, the skypiean opened his left hand, and shoot a ball of lighting in the nearby clouds. Thunder roared, clouds under the ship began shaking and turning black. Shaarib smiled, soon the ship was going to get caught in a fantastic tempest. With a flick of the other, appeared a wolf made of pure lightning charging the man with the cool goggles.#

Peitho laid on the floor defeated barely capable of moving was simply taken out with a very formidable strike. Peitho had been defeated by someone who came here with reason. Reason to reel them in, Peitho could not feel anything but see nothing but pitch black, a voice was heard. " Hey kid, you know who i am right? " as Peitho nodded to reply. The man none was none other than Hermes. He spoke softly and with conviction, raising the young Peithos' confidence in following the man.
Hermes who was standing kneeling against the wall, simply smiled upon listening this from the man.
A chuckle would be heard as the man revealing to be was none other than Hermes. " You have my attention young Vice Admiral Shaarib Hassan ... Oh you might be asking how we know your name and rank right? ... Well it's no biggie, news of you travels fast amongst those who did the impossible in Wano against Kaido. Though just before his command of Meia standing down would be heard the Vice Admiral already was in momentum of attacking as he send static electricity of high voltage in the shape of a tiger that enveloped Meia who heard his captains voice and got zapped and fried. He simply roared in pain shaking paralysed as he stumbled to the floor with smoke emitting from him.
Angelina seeing this gritted her teeth " MEEIIIAAA! " with Hermes shouting " ANGEELLIINNNA SSTTAANNNNDDD DOOOWWWNN! "

At first, Shaafrib was quite happy to be known by a pirate that popular. But the god had to talk about one of the worst day of Shaarib's life : The Wano Incident ! Like the old coots, SHaarib too was sent to Wano and he couldn't choose a better day to show others how bad his sense of direction was. The man crashed in a cemetery and spent all his day in a labyrinth. By the time he was able to get out of it, the fight was done and the old coots were able to fight with Kaido and defeat him. While he never met with the others Vice-Admirals, he knew to not being able to be on that fight scene put him last in the race to the Admiral position. Who did Hermès think he was to remind Shaarib of this day ?

Hermes would be alerted at the tone of the marine officer. ' I see a reaction to wano. Something happened that he didn't like what happened or he suffered a huge loss. '
Hermes was alerted yet precautious, didn't want to whip the leash and move the remote a little. He'd witnessed the terrors of the world that it has to offer. Meia who gritted his teeth at what the marine committed on their front of their property to even have the audacity of calling out Lord Hermes. His reaction was simple yet straightforward yet Angelina simply made a fist clenching it tightly.
Both of them had one thing thought at the same time: ' BASTARD! ' ... ' BASTARD! '
Meia wo was staring daggers at the marine, who brushed his earlier attacks calmed down a moment to not react rashly and cool his blood flow, as a whiplash alerted him of doom arriving.

The flow of the atmosphere changed as it began to become more colder, the skypiean had static resonating from his body. This had both Angelina and Meia alerted with Hermes remaining quite though he'd take a step back quitely monitoring the situation.
Angelina would make a fist then expand her hand at the direction of the marine, with her aura charging up that turned her palms black that hardened. She then took a moment to breathe calmly before she charged yelling out " KUNGG FFUUU PAALLMMM STTTRRRIIIKKKKEEE! "
The aim of the attack was to cause a epic crater shockwave to clash with one with the marine's attack

If Hermès wanted to dodge the fight, the fight was going to be brought to him. The VIce-Admiral cracked his neck still angry, in front of him the mechanic he had put down, was trying to attack again. Pirates were like cockroaches, they never accepted to die without making a fuss. Shaarib decided to dodge for real this time, hitting the ground ten times, he disappeared from their sight. He reappeared at Meaia side, a carnivorous smile on his face. The marine right arm already had the ebony shade for hardening. With a swift movement, the arm went down on the pirate's neck with the intent to break it. Nobody was going to survive today.

Putting his right hand in his puffer vest, Shaarib looked at the olympian with disdain. They were now much closer to each other than before. Angelina was alive, her attack was strong to resist the lighting, unlike the ship; if the blond didn't interfere, she was going to die. A man came, destroyed the cowboy's ship, killed most of your crewman and it still wasn't enough to anger the god ? #
Meia fired hoping he would hit his target though what was unprecedented was that the Vice Admiral was on a higher level than what they expected. It had been far too long since most the Tricksters were placed at the fore front of battles. They was banished from the front lines but instead to provide support. Thus was the law of Zeus, Hermes had in fact that law to abide by. But right now he saw a glimpse of why that was the case. The Olympian and Titan war were Hermes took his first loss, where his elder siblings Hades, Poseidon and Zeus came to his rescue. Still keeping the scars from then, he simply remained quite. Pondering if he should just surrender instead of going blow by blow with the marine officer.
Meia had no means to counter the vice admiral would be struck right in the back of the neck breaking the back of his neck that would send a wave of shock that instantly snapped the entire spine. All that was heard was a crack as Meia simply stared before him barely keeping up pace with the Admiral. All he could see the Vice Admiral before him, with his eyes rolling upwards and all he could see was nothing. His body collapsed as it spasmed on the ground. His heartbeat slowed down as it became a flatline of nothing no more with a small gust of wind signified his soul no longer remained and went to Valhalla or the Underworld realm of Tartaros.
Hermes would watch then look up at Shaarib and let out a small dry chuckle. " Bravo young marine, your prestige far out does your reputation. If you are to defeat Angelina. The woman beside me, you have earned full rights for a game with me. If you win, you'll earn the right to challenge me or arrest me. Deal young marine? "
Angelina hearing this would turn to Hermes and stare back at Shaarib " I'll avenge Meia. You have no right to even earn the right to even talk with Hermes-sama " with Hermes replying " I wouldn't talk that quickly, he was able to dispatch of Meia with ease. # What an answer it was. Hermès was an interesting fellow in the end. The lighting around Shaarib died down as he looked at the olympian leaving the bridge. A challenge? Shaarib had too much pride to refuse it, Hermès probably realized it. It was a win-win situation for our hero, the pirate was either going to fight or surrender.... Shaarib was slowly accepting it, he shook his head vigorously. They disrespected him, they weren't going to choose how everything was going to be : They were going to die a dog death.

"If we bring the olympian alive, Sengoku might give us a raise. We killed all the pirates, isn't it better to take the full bounty this time ?" Continued the cloaked figure. " At least I have the other one with me, we are going to be fine."
As he finished talking, another cloaked figure appeared, it was Genjo. Shaarib had calmed down, he could trust his partners. Using, his powers, the Skypiean followed after the Olympian not even looking at Angelina. He had better things to do, he was soon going to know what Hermè was talking about. #

Peithos who was completely unconscious, his finger began to make movement as he grunted though the static that was running through his body sizzled and popped vigorously. All he could do was be a headless chicken in this situation.
Meia at this time attempted to raise himself back to his knees though the expenditure his energy was far too much for him to do so. Not helping was the static that was running through his body made sure that gravity was also an enemy. All he could do was watch as few others arrived at the scene with Angelina being the vanguard.
Angelina who’d be witnessing some newcomers suddenly arriving to the aid of the marine vice admiral. She thought nothing much of it at first, but her skin began to heat up. She wasn’t showing signs but she was frustrated at the manner of those who call themselves marines.

Angelina’s comment held conviction, she wasn’t taking no for an answer. She simply wanted to finish things where they began. She didn’t want Troya or Genjo, but Shaarib himself. For he had silently agree’d to the terms. Then for him to toss it about, she didn’t care much about the bounty on her head, she cared more about the respect.
Hermes listening to this entire ordeal would come out leaning himself against the wall. “Hey Vice Admiral, you know the deal you and her. Nobody interferes, you have my word. But should you wish not to oblige, I’ll blow the ship up with everyone on it. Now are you in or out?”
Hermes laid the gauntlet, would Shaarib listen is the question. Meia had set the automated self destruction, but only Hermes fingerprint was needed, the button just needed to be pressed. Would Shaarib play chicken was the question?

Now, they wanted to force things. His blood temperature was slowly rising. Veins appeared on his forehead. If the olympian wanted to destroy the ship, SHaarib wasn't going to interfere. He knew he was going to survive either way, the real question was : If he could teleport fast enough to push away Troya and Genjo. Both of them knew their leader, one of his best qualities and his worst flaw was that he never listened to anyone Shaarib was never good when put in front of an ultimatum, maybe it was due to his past, to wounds deep in his soul or just that he was an asshole : The skypiean just never liked to bend his knee. He never done it, today wasn't going to be the first time. #

Angelina would listen to the man, her blood was already boiling at what the marine just stated she charged her haki cladding her fists with hardening. " Don't think your all high and mighty with the shit you guys do. A mere marine coming up to us thinking they are bigger than us "
She then accelerated towards the direction of the Vice Admiral making a beeline for the man that disrespected Hermes, who'd watch in silence. Though he wasn't the only one who'd do nothing, he took out his gun and aimed it at Troyo channelling haki through his hands into his gun that would coat his bullets in darker hue before letting out a bang.

Instead, he went and fired his gun in direction of Troya and not at Shaarib, the closest to him. The skypiean saw clearly what the olympian wanted to do, he chose to ignore it, Troya was a big guy and it was an opportunity the Vice-Admiral wasn't going to miss. The birdman hand got covered by yellow lighting and with a flick of his wrist, he threw a lightning bolt at the olympian.

14. Large Continent Level
Angelina attack then came and her punch went literally through the Vice-Admiral*, he had told her she wasn't at their levels but she kept trying and was now going to suffer. Shaarib had used his ace in hole to make sure she was going to die from his next attack. From his back, a dragon made of lighting was created and had nothing left to do besides closing his jaws on the dumbfounded woman.

14. Large Continent Level
Behind him, Troya took a bullet he was barely able to see, he tried to move out the way but got shot in the shoulders and fell on the ground, his white cloak getting red and red as the time passed. Genjo came to his side quickly and tried to slow the bleeding but the wound was too big, after ripping a part of his cloak he tried to give first aid the best he could. They were too far from the ship and Shaarib's nimbus wasn't there anymore. Troya needed help.
