As Akira returned from his uneventful trip around the capital, due to the drought and that nothing ultimately happened during exploration. He would soon find himself surrounded by several citizens just after he would open the door, prompting an angry mob to demand water from the pirates. This is something Akira recalled before, being hounded by angry mobs – prompting the boy to turn his head back, his right hand shifts towards his katana, but not unsheathing the weapon yet, though if the angry mobs refuse to stand down, Akira would forcefully make them do so. However, before he could speak to angry mobs behind him, Zalera quickly intervene, in which he would very quickly put on a very masterful act of deceit, using words to convince the angry mobs that they are saviours, here to liberate them from their otherwise miserable situation. It doesn’t take long for Akira to catch on what Zalera would truly meant by liberation in reality, hidden in deceit towards the mobs, though Akira would not say anything – he would observe the reactions of the angry mob.

It was actually a perfect opportunity, the angry mobs are only united by the common goal of getting water, they would have to submit to the pirates if they want it – and anyone that attempts to bargain otherwise will be dealt with by Akira, the mob will eventually falter and divide if they do so. Some of them are bound to give in. The pirates they are attempting to ‘negotiate’ with doesn’t need all of the citizens alive, just several useful ones. However, should the angry mob give in and attempt a revolt alongside the pirates, even the ones in-charge of this capital cannot sit back in silence, it will not be long till they arrive on their doorstep, for both sides.

The Hakumai Yakuza would find their intruder are more than a match than simple grunts and weaponry, as nothing they would throw at the intruder came close to injuring the man. However, that would no longer matter since the sentries would stop firing, putting a ceasefire to the skirmish before it got worst which fortunately for the Hakumai, so did the man as well. Yamato’s question would receive an unexpected answer, the same exact reply about fighting a dragon. The man would ponder for a bit, there is no reason to lie now that there is a ceasefire, perhaps there is something else in Udon that the Hakumai does not know about? Impossible. Thought Yamato. Regardless of the case, a small grin could be seen from the man’s face, though it may be unlikely for Sasaki to be able to see the grin for afar. The Hakumai Lieutenant thought of a plan, to make use of Sasaki’s power for his advantage.

“While there is no dragon, there are however – monsters. Perhaps we can come to a temporary alliance. If you help us, we will help you search for a monster, or rather a dragon as you might call it. How about it? Mr…?”

“He calls himself Sasaki…”

“Sasaki!”

Relying on his fellow Yakuza to whispered his name, after the man in front of them has originally introduced himself prior. Yamato needed to acquire the help of Sasaki, to take out other Yakuzas and rescue his boss and he believe Sasaki is the key to doing so. As he finished his words, he would gestured for the guards to open a gate, not necessarily big, but useful to keep intruders out in general.

La Spada's bony and chilly hand took the young girl's hand and led her to the kitchen area. There, the two started preparing more and more water. La Spada performed the miracles one after another, while the young girl brought more and more bowls of water, while admiring the cloaked goddess that was saving lives out of thin air. One could see the sheer brilliance in the girl's eyes. A child's innocence. Pure admiration and gratitude. Zalera spoke to the young girl's mother, speaking of a past that they, too, had with Kaido and the Beast Pirates. Apparently, they, too, had been violated by Kaido's might, and shared a rage and a plan to destroy him.

As Akira returned to the doorstep, about to enter the household, the mob surrounded the household, demanding their surrender of water. Akira was ready to let his katana do some heavy work, but Zalera's act and words, loud enough for those outside to hear, came just in the nick of time. ''We will save this town from the drought''. Those words in particular were powerful. Clearly, the water was not a privilege for the young girl and her mother, but a resource that the cloaked one and her men were ready to extend to the rest of the citizens. The citizens looked at one another in disbelief, lowering their katanas. At that time, the young girl came out of the household with the first bowl of water. The citizens' eyes watered up. The little water that was left in their dried up, dehydrated bodies, transformed into heartfelt tears. One after another bowl of water was brought up, and the citizens started to drink.

The spectacle brought more and more citizens about, and soon, there was a crowd of more than a hundred strong. They drank with happiness and relief, but caution. None seemed greedy and the water was shared among all - the amount dedicated to each person just enough and what was necessary. La Spada's miracles had brought the citizens together in body and spirit, for there was enough water for all.

On the roof of a high-rise temple in the distance, a large man stood. Black leather clothing, black wings, a katana on his hip, and a pair of binoculars in hand, the man observed what was happening in the Flower Capital. Lowering the binoculars, the man jumped off of the temple and landed in the streets of the Flower Capital. A calamity was approaching.

Inside the household, the mother, inspired by the miracle and Zalera's story, spoke.

We will help you help us, strangers. It's time for this country to stand up and face our oppressor.

B-but... there's a problem. Ever since this drought began, Kaido knew there was a chance of a rebellion in the face of impending doom.

Because of that, he stationed his strongest to watch for any signs of an uprising. And the one watching the Flower Capital... is the strongest of them all.

King.

The mother said, her eyes showing great fear when she named the man who held them in his palm.

Kuri @Gambit

After Gambit's initial attack on Jack, the trio went back to a standstill. Jack brought up a valid and valuable idea, though the way he phrased it, it felt more like an ultimatum. Such was the behavior of a calamity, one backed by the strongest creature of them all. There was no room for negotiation as far as Jack was concerned, and the two princes were lucky to be offered the opportunity of assisting a man like Kaido. However, despite Jack's conviction, Gambit did not seem to agree. Taking and calling Jack's bluff, Gambit stated that a mere alliance was not a payment that would suffice. After all, Wano, with Kaido and the Beast Pirates in tow, was backed completely into a corner by the severe drought of mother nature, and so it was Wano and the Beast Pirates that, despite their massive might, had no negotiation power. Hearing Gambit speak, Jack grimaced. He grit his teeth and clenched his fist in fury, his veins bulging and showing signs of anger.

However, a deep breath followed, and Jack - uncharacteristically - calmed down. It was that severe of a situation, and even Jack, as hard-headed as he was, could not afford to squander a potential opportunity all for the sake of a brawl. Unclenching his fist and deescalating his demeanor, Jack spoke.

If that's how it'll be, then so be it. You seem to know what you want, so come say it to Kaido-san yourself. Or do you not have the guts to do that?

Jack said, bringing up a rather risky proposal. Taking enemies straight to Kaido's doorstep would normally be unproblematic, but with the severe drought, even Kaido was not at his strongest. What Jack was doing was a great risk to himself, and could earn him the wrath of Kaido. But, Jack had no choice. Would the two princes take him up on his offer, and go meet the strongest creature in the world?

Hakumai -> The Flower Capital @QuickZilver708

With the idea of an emissary being sent in the Shogun's place shot down, Kallavan and his Captain had no choice but to agree to go meet the Shogun directly. It was a risky move for Kallavan. If someone recognized him, a Marine Vice Admiral, right here in Wano in the middle of the severe drought crisis, it would undoubtedly create chaos and the news would reach Kaido quickly. But at this point, Kallavan had no choice but to take that risk. Kallavan asked to have the ship guarded. While the two men could not realize Kallavan's wishes completely, they did reassure him.

We cannot send a fighting force all the way out here, but we do have people observing the port from a distance. If something does go down, you and we will be informed immediately.

The man said, reassuring Kallavan, but also letting out some valuable information. The two port agents were not the only ones that knew about their arrival. If Kallavan had disposed of the two men, thinking that he would have been able to hide his arrival and presence in Wano, he would have instead been found out as an aggressor. Luckily, or perhaps thanks to Kallavan's shrewd thinking, none of those things occurred.

And with all of that cleared up, the group set out. It was a couple of hour long trip, but nothing much happened on the way. The severe effects of the drought would become more and more apparent to Kallavan and his men as they traversed Hakumai. When they reached the Flower Capital, especially, it all became clear. Even the capital, what was once a prosperous part of Wano, was of empty streets, with everyone in their houses, hiding from the beaming sun. The La Spada pirates, who were in a different part of the large Flower Capital, and Kallavan, would never meet. Instead, Kallavan and his men were guided straight to the highest temple in all of the Flower Capital, and the home to none other than the Shogun.

Traversing the stairs all the way up to the highest section of the temple, Kallavan and his Captain alone were led to a room. The room was rather traditional of Wano. At the end of the room, there was section that was behind a curtain, and behind the curtain, was a silhouette. Shogun Kurozumi Orochi.

Who is it that you have brought to my presence?

Shogun Orochi said. The subordinate knelt on one knee and bowed his head, before speaking.

They are merchants that wish to set up a route here in Wano. They wish to bring water to Wano.

The subordinate said. And with that, it was time for Kallavan and his Captain to give their pitch.

Shack in the Capital
La Spada created water. The girl took it outside, coming back in and out to supply the villagers with water. The Grim created it for the girl, to make her ripe for the taking, but unbeknown, and thanks to the girl’s kindness, the people were getting droves of water. Enough to survive for the next coming days.

Zalera’s eyes widened upon hearing the name ‘King’. He had been doomed to the Underworld before La a Spada pulled him out and forced his employ, yet that name gave him a nervous chill. Zalera knew exactly whom it was, the power he had.

It took a second for Zalera to regain his composure, before going outside, finding Akira, and whispering what the mother had told him; King was here. Zalera did not bother with La Spada. Instead, he rushed back into the home to the mother,

[Zalera] “Be calm. Those two are here. They do more than conjure up miracle water. If what you speak is true, we make our stand here!”
[Zalera] “Tell me, if we are able to break of King’s chains, will you lead the people of this town against the Capitol? To take what was once yours? How would you do it?

Zalera sought assurances, he’s make sure the mother drank her fill to regain her energy and offered her some food he had stashed away. They needed a guide. Zalera had another reason for going back inside: he wanted no part of King. A gathering of over a hundred; that would attract much attention. The man did keep his mind eye open for any powerful signatures to warn of any approach, for The Grim was far too busy with hernew plaything to notice an approach.

La Spada had finished making water. She had caught the girl when she went back inside and caressed her hair. It was the first time the child would see La Spada’s face. It was still flesh, but-for blotches of skin. Thos eyes screamed desire. The Grim had taken an unnatural liking to the girl, like a hunter to its prey. Perhaps she reminded her of herself as a child captive by Yonko Warsong. La Spada tucked in her vivre card in the girl’s pockets and whispered:

[La Spada] “Don’t separate from mah’, and I shall give you the power to save this land. If we separate, follow tha’ piece of paper.”

As he finished his words, he would gestured for the guards to open a gate, not necessarily big, but useful to keep intruders out in general.

Sasaki's fight with the Yakuza concluded and everyone sheathed or otherwise put down their weapons. One of the men that was the leader of the Yakuzas proposed a truce and went on to explain that should Sasaki help them, they would help him find this ''dragon'' or whatever it was that he was looking for. Sasaki folded his arms in front of his abdomen, his left arm tucking into his right sleeve and his right arm tucking into his left sleeve. This was a common way for samurai to walk around, and Sasaki was no different.

Thinking to himself: This place changed a lot it seems. The stories that my father had told me pictured a much different nation.

Sasaki thought. He, too, was born in Wano decades ago, but his family had left their birthplace on a mission. This was Sasaki's first time back to Wano as an adult, so he knew little about Wano, short of the stories that his father had told him as a child. But, they didn't seem to match. Sasaki's father always spoke of Wano in a positive light - a proud nation of samurai that lived in a prosperous country, their days filled with eating, partying, and most importantly, training and honing one's own skills.

Now, it seemed like a dangerous and vile place. While Sasaki had little to no emotional connection to a place that he had never been to in the past, deep down, this radical change bothered him. Sasaki looked at the Yakuzas and spoke.

Fine, I'll help you out. But about that prison... where is it at? My friend over there has to go check it out. That's my condition.

Sasaki said.

Akira would be the out-of-place crew member of the Spada Pirates, watching as the mobs now completely take a different turn to another target, the officials of Flower Capital. All is going rather smoothly until the mother of the girl whom La Spada have saved, talk about a crew member of Kaido stationing in this part of the country, to stem any revolution from happening. Through that, it is now clear as Akira would have thought, there will definitely be someone watching this place – regardless of the state of the place, the fact that it looks luxurious means that it might be of some importance, and he did not notice any other places in similar architectures. As such, the person named King will definitely look to intervene very soon. Either before the mobs would completely organize themselves under Spada Pirates temporarily, or afterwards when they are at their doorstep.

Akira would see Zalera’s deceitful act continue to play out masterfully, people who are desperate are much easier to be manipulated. And now that La Spada have her new toy, she would likely not give too much further in thought about this whole debacle until something comes and ruin the fun. With that, Akira have his watchful eyes look out for the person known as King, though he would direct Zalera, since he is the ‘leader’ of the mobs at the moment.

“Get them to find the ones in-charge. As for the person named King – I will deal with him when he comes.”

His hand still held on to his sheath, the guard and his thumb resting onto each other, soon this mob will go off even without any actions from Spada Pirates, and that they will storm the ‘gates’ fairly soon. Will King arrive to deal with the riot? Akira hopes that the person might as well come now and thus they can deal a lethal blow to the Beast Pirates right now.

Sasaki’s agreement was met with delight by the Hakumai Lieutenant, and as the ronin would enter the outpost, he would find one particular question being answered. Should he look carefully at the sentry’s equipment, besides the gun that was used to shoot at Sasaki, they also have swords sheathed by their sides, only obscured by the outpost’s walls from his angle before. The Yakuza are definitely more than just prepared; they were armed to the teeth in the war. Sasaki would find many watchful eyes, some in seemly curiosity, others seems to be in spite. Afterwards, he would find a pair of guards would run past him, aiming to pick up their fellow brother that fell to his sword in an attempt to take down Sasaki before.

Regardless, the Lieutenant wasn’t afraid of a couple of men losing their lies in this war now that they have Sasaki as an ally. Soon afterwards, Sasaki posed a question of the location of the prison, and now he brought in the topic of another person. Perfect, Yamato thought. Someone possibly equally as tough as Sasaki himself? This will be the advantage they will need. Gesturing to Sasaki to follow up towards a tower by the outpost, once they would find themselves on the tower, by the balcony shows the horizon that one can see from the tower. In front of them stood a large facility, seemingly set up with defences that would aim to deter any force from breaking into the prison, one can even see several cannons set up onto the surrounding base, it is as much of a warzone as Yamato would mention it to be. Outside of the base, several destroyed vehicles could be seen, as with corpses donned with armour of varying colours and weapons litters the wasteland – the fighting area of the Yakuzas in their attempt to break the prison and rescue their boss.

“That right there, is the prison. As you can see – Queen, the leader of this massive prison fort and one of Kaido’s underlings, have ensure that no prisoners are allowed to be transferred out of Hell, he would rather have all prisoners dead than letting one leave this place alive.”

Once Sasaki have processed the situation, Yamato would finally speak once more.

“Some of the Yakuza are hired by Queen to ensure this war continues as long as it could, with the promise to have their leader released. Of course, as you can see, not everyone agreed to that. That bastard is having fun watching us slaughter each other to the very end, like an arena for the spectators. If you help us break into the prison and save our boss, Tsunagoro and kill the leader of the Kibi Yakuza, Yatappe – we will help you find this ‘dragon’ that you speak of, and help you hunt it down.”

Awaiting Sasaki’s answer, Yamato hopes that he would agree to it. Killing Yatappe not only allowed the Hakumai to be rid of their rivals, but sets themselves up for a stronger position after this war is over. Of course, Sasaki is free to refuse, but it may not sit well for the Hakumai Yakuza – Sasaki already have the information he needs, but helping the Yakuza might improve the chances of finding the ‘dragon’ as well as allies in this isolated country.

Uteki and Ai listened to Yahiko has he spoke. Uteki carrying both gourds filled with water, as Ai managed the one. The learned why he was the one to be tasked with getting water for the village. As they got closer to the village, Ai was about to ask what happened to the village, but Yahiko started explaining anyways. She remained silent. The explanation over. The water they gathered was primarily for cleaning purposes. As it needed to be boiled in order to be ingested. Ai was immediately a stammering mess. She was trying to figure out a way to help the village, and was coming up with nothing. Uteki remained expressionless and silent for a while. Until she finally spoke.

"Where are the factories responsible for the water situation?"

She asked with such conviction it was obvious she knew that doing anything to the factories would make her an enemy of Kaido. Her plan was simple. She was going to destroy the factories in the hope that it would eventually lead to clean water. It wasn't a perfect solution. It wouldn't solve their problems right away, but it would offer some hope for the future.

Flower Capital - Meeting the Shogun

During the long walk, Kallavan and his crew captain could observe the effects of this everlasting drought. Even their main capital was suffering under the intense heatwave that was plaguing the lands. Such a shame. Kallavan thought to himself as he observed the desolate streets, void of life as people did their damnest to survive. What was once a bursting city - or so the tales tell - had been regressed to almost a ghost town. Eventually, they'd reach their destination at the top of the main temple. Kallavan would observe the figure hiding behind the curtain who would be none other than the Shogun known as Orochi. With everything set in place, it was up to Kallavan and the captain to begin their sales pitch.

The ship captain would begin.
"We've heard of the plight of Wano and bring with us food and water. We hail from the east in search to establish a trade route what we've brought now is but a small number to what we could eventually supply to your shores my lord. Observe this first supply as a welcoming gift. The land of Ishgard sends their regards."

Kallavan would look at his captain with almost visible concern. Just barely able to prevent him from looking at him confused a single twitch of the eyebrow was the only thing visible. Internally, however, Kallavan blamed himself for not being able to persuade the guards at the start. His private while improvising a great deal and doing his uttermost in this situation he simply wasn't trained for it. Namedropping a land which neither he nor Kallavan had ever set foot upon was a dangerous gamble in such risky negotiations.

Kallavan hoped that the closed borders of Wano still made them ignorant of the lands that existed in this world. For now, he'd remain silent and continued to observe how the Shogun responded to this rather quick and to the point sales pitch.

The trio had a stand-off for seconds, analyzing the situation, gauging the weight of the cards in hand. And after a fierce stare down, Jack seemed to learn his position and unconsciously abode with the royalties' conditions. Albeit, it is yet to unfold.

"Meet Kaido?", Gambit validated.

"I will gladly accept that opportunity to discuss with your master as we don't answer to a foot soldier.", he continued, smirking as he puffed his cigar.

"How do you plan to provide them with the solution for their drought?", Namor asked.

Gambit turned to him while they wait for Jack to escort them to where Kaido was at.

Gambit: "Don't underestimate the height of science."
Namor: "?!!"
Gambit: "And just like you said, you are granting them what they need. We just need to build a system where everyone will benefit. But everything comes with a significant value."
Namor: "I understand Landayan."

The two princes turned back to Jack and then Gambit would request.

"Jack! Take us there. It's time to finally meet the Strongest Creature alive!"

And with that, the Pirate Prince retracted his scythe. Things are settled for now. At least, that's what is shown in this panel.

As if a fountain of endless water had been discovered, the young girl kept bringing more and more water out to the citizens, which in turn caused a larger and larger crowd to gather. At some point, La Spada took the young girl by hand and caressed her hair, showing a strange amount of affection - or obsession - with the girl. The girl stared at La Spada's eyes, unsure of what to do, or how to behave in the presence of this mysterious woman that was performing miracles. In the meantime, the young girl's mother explained the situation to Zalera, and Akira overheard it as well. The mother spoke of a man named King, who had apparently been put in charge of the Flower Capital by none other than Kaidou himself. How the mother knew of this, or whether it was common knowledge, was anyone's guess. But regardless, the enemy had been named, and his name was King. Akira reassured that he would deal with King - a bold proclamation, but one that he would have to exercise and act on sooner than later, and Zalera announced that they would make a stand here. The mother nodded and with fire in her eyes, she spoke.

We will do it. But first, we need to convince the people.

Any who had a Kenbun-shoku no Haki strong enough, or, in the case of La Spada, the ability to sense souls, would suddenly pick up on a soul and aura most powerful. Walking down the street toward the crowd was their enemy, who came straight to them. His black leather outfit sounded as he walked, his black demonic wings fluttered every so slightly with every step, and his eyes stared at the crowd menacingly. His katana rested on his left hip, moving about every so subtly as he walked. A strange fire burned on the man's back, but it didn't seem to bother him. The man stopped a few dozen meters away from the crowd and made himself known to anyone that hadn't picked up on his presence by that time.

What is going on over here?

The man asked demandingly. When he spoke, the crowd finally took notice, but none really seemed to recognize him. Ignorant of King's identity, one of the men from the crowd shouted.

There's water here! Loads of it!

The man said. King's eyes suddenly widened in shock and turned bloodshot. Did he hear correctly? There was water? Impossible.

Water? Here? Fool, who do you take me for?

King asked intimidatingly and unwilling to recognize the absurd idea that there would be water in this place.

Kuri @Gambit

Despite the rough start and the clashing egos and personalities, it appeared that some type of a consensus had been reached. There was potential for mutual benefit between the two sides, and so the two princes were to meet Kaidou. Gambit's foot soldier remark did not go unnoticed, however.

Count yourself fortunate that I am in the situation that I am in, scrub.

Jack said, referring to two things - firstly, he himself was weakened due to dehydration, and secondly, Kaidou would kill Jack if he acted on his own when a potential solution to the drought stood in front of him. For now, Jack's hands were tied, and Gambit's fool soldier remark would not be acted upon, as hard as that was on a proud man like Jack.

You, fish guy! If you want to meet Kaidou, you'll have to get some work done. He's not here. He's on Onigashima. It's an island close to Wano, but it's not connected by land. This ship is fucked, so we'll need to find something for you to pull us on.

Jack said, referring to the hole that he had busted into the ship when he first appeared. And with that, the trio would set off to find a boat somewhere nearby. Before long, they would find one. Jack would board, waiting for Gambit to do the same, and for Namor to put his fishness to good use. Provided everything went fine, the trio had a trip to make - Jack would show the way, and Namor would do the bulk of the work for now.

The Flower Capital @QuickZilver708

Kallavan and his Captain, their identities still well-hidden and unrecognized, were brought to the Flower Capital and to the temple wherein Shogun Orochi resided. Brought to the top floor and to the Shogun's presence, the two men sat down and the Captain spoke.

He established what the conversation and the purpose of the meeting was about, stating that they were merchants and that they were aware of the catastrophic drought that had taken Wano. They intended to set up a trading route that would bring water and food to Wano - a proposal that without a doubt had to sound like music to the Shogun's ears. To any beginner, the Captain's words would sound well thought out and well placed. However, Kallavan knew there was an issue stemming from inexperience. The Captain had said what island they come from. That was a point that, perhaps, could lead to problems. And much like what Kallavan feared, it occurred.

Ishgard? Never heard of it. I've never met you or any of your people. What makes you think I would be willing to strike a deal with someone like you?

Shogun Orochi said, sounding rather arrogant in his response. And while his country was, in fact, backed into a corner, he did still have a point. Just because Wano was desperate, doesn't mean that they would take on such a risk. For all the Shogun knew, these men in front of him were tricksters that infiltrated Wano and tried to have Wano open their ''gates'' to an invading force.

Identify yourselves and let me talk to your leader. Who is he anyway? A King? An Emperor?

The Shogun said, demanding more information so as to confirm what he was dealing with. And just like that, it was Kallavan and his Captain that were now backed into a corner, right out in the open in the enemy's capital.

Okobore Town @tlgRen

The young boy, Yahiko, brought Uteki and Ai to his village, showing them the truthful side of Wano. A barren place, poisoned by greed, and wrecked by famine and poverty. At least, that was the case for the vast majority, as the few selected men and women basked in riches and power. Seeing the dehydrated and dying villagers that Yahiko was doing his best to save, both Uteki and Ai were taken aback by the situation - though one of the two showed more visible frustration than the other. Before long, however, Uteki did finally speak up, asking where the factories were. The factories that were responsible for polluting the lakes and rivers. Yahiko's face frowned at the question, as the answer was difficult to say. Soaking a towel into some of the water that they had brought back to the village, Yahiko started going from one villager to another, putting the cold towel on their foreheads for a few moments to let them relax and cool down, while also cleaning their faces. As he was doing that, Yahiko explained the situation to Uteki and Ai.

There's too many to count, and they're all over the place.

Plus, there's no way to touch them. They belong to Kaidou, a ruthless pirate. If anything happens to those factories, he will burn the whole place to the ground.

Yahiko said. Clearly, the amount of fear that Kaidou had instilled in this nation, was so great that no uprising or treason was even considered. As Yahiko was helping one of the villagers, an older lady, she slowly lifted her tired hand and grabbed Yahiko's hand softly, as if telling him to stop. Barely with enough strength to speak, the old lady gave a few words of wisdom.

Y-Yahiko-chan... you are such a great young man. Working day and night to help us old people get by. The fear that I see in your eyes saddens me. That man is a ruthless villain, but living under him like this sounds much worse than taking a chance at your future.

I don't want you to ever have to fight for us, Yahiko-chan... but I do want you to fight for your own future.

The old lady said. Two conflicting opinions. On one end, there was Yahiko, who knew there was no beating Kaidou. Yahiko was satisfied with living like this, doing his best to help the old folks. On the other end, an old lady, who knew the wisdoms of life, and the importance of freedom. Which of the two sides would resonate with Uteki and Ai? Would their pragmatism prevail, and they would choose not to get involved with such a powerful enemy? Or would their emotions prevail, and they would find reason to help these people?

The water drew more people. La Spada had stopped the supply - the citizens had to divide the remaining among themselves. The drought for Kaido would continue. The water given was far too little for his crew, and the source was... foreign. Though the possibilities of obtaining a source of endless water must be enticing for an island near death.

Inside, The Grim had stopped the girl. La Spada eyes screamed intent, like a pedophile observing children at the park, eyes of malicious desire. Suddenly, Zalera peeked his head out of the room and screamed towards Akira and La Spada.

[Zalera] “He’s here! 3 O’clock! The man with over a billion bounty on his head: ‘King the Conflagration’!”

La Spada slightly turned her head. Her awareness haki and soul sensing kicked in: she felt it. She was much too preoccupied to notice before; this girl had her in a trance, for the pain she would endure was palatable.

Zalera returned to the room and tended to the Mom; water and food. He hoped to have her up and running soon and answer his questions. Unlike La Spada, he was strategic and kept his needs in check. They needed a guide. Unlike Akira and La Spada, he also did not wish to engage King.

The camera shifted to La Spada’s hood upon sensing King. Deep in the darkness was two lucious red lips. They circled into a killing grin.

Sasaki agreed to help the Yakuza in return for information on the prison. With that settled, Sasaki - and Leo a few meters behind him - walked with the Yakuzas, entering their fortification. After walking some stairs, the group ended up on a higher vantage point of the fortification, where the land spanned in front of them, and they had a good view of the area. The Yakuza leader explained the area, pointing to a massive prison in the distance. In the area in front of the prison, men were littering the ground - dead corpses, people that had attempted to raid the prison, and failed. Sasaki whistled, as if impressed by the sturdiness of the prison.

That's a nice fortress they got there...

So? Do we have to sneak in, or can we just raid it upfront? We'd probably prefer the latter option, unless you have a different plan...

Sasaki said, showing a lot of confidence that they could just take the prison head-on. Leo, his arms folded in front of his chest, finally spoke.

Let's get this done quickly. We have a lot of work to do in this nation.

Leo said, showing some impatience - or perhaps, he just couldn't bear standing idle playing Yakuza games while the citizens of Wano needed Marine help.

Akira would notice the arrival of a new stranger, which he would only notice as such due to the vast racial differences, that the man has wings and is dressed very differently from everyone else, if not for the fact that Zalera would eventually shout out the identity of the stranger as King, a complete outsider perspective would’ve imagine King as part of the Spada Pirates. Zalera’s call immediately prompted Akira to withdrew his weapon, one of the Saijo O Wazamono from its wooden scabbard, revealing a blood-stained katana – the Muramasa. It seems that there is indeed people observing the whole situation, which for now is simply King at the moment, though there is no one else in sight, either because King confident enough to deal with any problems in Flower Capital on his own or there may be more of the Beast Pirates hiding around. Unlike La Spada, Akira is unable to sense anyone else with his own Haki, nor does he have the powers to do so. Thus it would be up to the rest of the Spada Pirates to figure out the number of enemies they need to handle.

But for now, with only Akira and La Spada to deal with King, this is their chance to ensure that Kaido and his allies are not able stop the riot in Flower Capital – at least not till it has completely snowball out of control. As King would move towards the water source, Akira needed the now angry mob to move away from King if they were to take him down now, losing the citizens in the fight may have the opposite effect of what they want. Gesturing towards Zalera and the Mom to signal them away, hopefully they will catch it and understood to leave and continue on what they need to do. As for La Spada, it is up to her if she wants to stay to deal with King. While not necessarily being aggressive to King, the fact that the boy has unsheathe his katana is enough to let anyone know what would be happening next.

Yamato listened to Sasaki, and Leo whom now arrives and follows quietly behind the pair – desires to quickly finish what they set out to do. A rather refreshing change of personality between Sasaki and Leo of a jovial person and a serious one. That said, with the biggest chance given to the Hakumai to take advantage of, the Lieutenant started grinning – though his intentions are not made publically, it is possible from an outside perspective to take it that Yamato is merely reacting to the suggestion of raiding it upfront, despite the near-impregnable fortress that the Yakuzas as a whole has not been able to breach even the prison gates. What are the chances that the pair would have? But given Sasaki’s abilities perhaps it may be possible – though there is a catch to it, which Yamato would simply reply to Sasaki’s questions.

“You can do whichever method you want. But as I said, if the Yakuza saw someone attempting to break into the prison, they will inevitably join in, whether to help you or to attack you, outside of the Kibi Yakuza I cannot say. No one is willing to risk letting another group being able to rescue their Leaders out.”

Yamato would then lead the pair down towards another gate, this time facing the prison – which he would have his men opened the gate for Sasaki and Leo to leave from. Soon afterwards, two motorised bikes were brought towards the trio by several Yakuza members, though rather badly outfitted, it is no fancy bikes – but a practical transport that the Hakumai have engineered from scraps to use.

“You may use this to get to the prison quicker. Regardless of how you choose to go towards the centre, everyone is looking. Good luck, Ronins.”

With the gates opened, and an optional use of transports – Sasaki and Leo would soon find themselves into the chaos of which Queen of the Beast Pirates and the Yakuza politics have plunged into.

Sasaki and Leo were given free reign in terms of how they wanted to attack the prison. With that out of the way, they were brought down to another - ground level - gate, which slowly started to open. As the breeze from the other side of the gate rolled past Sasaki and Leo, they glanced into the distance at the prison. A pair of motorbikes were brought to them and they were free to go wild. Sasaki looked at the bikes with a confused look on his face. He took one of the sheathed katanas off of his hip and poked the motorbike with it.

The hell's this thing? Never seen it before.

Sasaki said, showing that he was somewhat of a hermit. He liked to train all day long and all night long in the mountains, he wasn't much familiar with things like the motorbikes.

Get on, let's go.

Leo said, mounting his motorbike and motioning for Sasaki to get onto the same one. Sasaki jumped and landed on the backseat of Leo's motorbike. He never sat down, but instead opted to keep standing. Leo turned the motorbike on and the two took off. Speeding across the terrain, their clothes fluttered wildly as they approached the prison head-on. Sasaki seemed to have no trouble standing despite the speeds involved, showing a great balance. Then, as the two closed the distance, Leo let go of the motorbike and spoke.

Jump.

He said, and jumped off of the motorbike. Sasaki did the same, and the motorbike went crashing into the front gate of the prison on its own. As the motorbike exploded violently, Sasaki and Leo landed on the ground. Sasaki had unsheathed the katana on his right hip and swung it, unleashing a powerful flying slash. Leo, whose fist had transformed into a raging fire, punched forward, unleashing a massive column of fire. The two attacks ripped into the front gate, aiming to blow it open.

What Kallavan feared came to be reality his private had given too much detail to the shogun who, naturally, pried for more information. The land was in dire cirumstances he could not make any misteps here. Not with Kaido most likely breathing down his neck. It was also visible that the captain was taken aback from the sudden interogation he was being put under and did the best he could do under these circumstances.

"My apologies my lord. My name is Aymeric the ship's captain and the gentleman next to me is Aldent our diplomat . We do not have a king per se but our leader is more a spiritual one. We call him the holy see, unfortunately, he's unable to make the trip personally due to his age. We honestly do not come with ill intentions." The private said as he added more information and Kallavan felt that now was the time he intervened before the private dug himself into a hole there was no escape from anylonger.

"My lord. Once again our humblest apologies for arriving unnoticed. But word had spread of Wano's call for aid and this fine gentleman and his crew but simply responded to this call. I was requested to aid them in this travel for I have experience in trade agreements. The vessel we arrived in contains but a small portion of the supplies we can offer but see it as a gift regardless of your response. There is more to arrive if you accept to a trade agreement." Kallavan said, trying to switch the topic back to the matter at hand instead of creating more fictional information around Ishgard.

"As the good captain Aymeric already mentioned we come in peace. Your men have already inspected our vessel and nothing out of the ordinary had been found. The captain and his men readily surrendered their arms which was only meant for self defense during the trip here." Kallavan said as he created another short pause before continuing with his final statement.

"You do not have to decide immediately if necessary we shall remain near the port while you talk it out amongst your advisors. But the land would see you as a saviour if you managed to acquire a stable source of water after these months without. Think of how you could increase your standing within the country. But I digress, we shall move accordingly to your decision my lord." Kallavan finished as he said his piece. The last bit sickened him but he had to push through it. He almost offered the idea to use the water and food to increase monetarily gain from the people around Wano. But he figured from a first face glance that the Shogun would arrive at that conclusion himself.

The man seemed drunk on power which was made apparent to Kallavan when he almost instantly declined that which his people are dying for. But if there were no people to rule, there would also be no need for a ruler himself.

The trio had concluded the impasse and came to settlement at last. They would now meet Kaido. Jack eventually and magically found a boat elsewhere, that would serve as their means of transportation to reach Onigashima. The towering Calamity, almost more than thrice the height of the princes boarded the boat. Albeit, only slightly bigger than the regular boats, this would do for now.

"You almost occupied the entire boat, foot soldier.", Gambit's response after being called a scrub.

Then the prince of Hiraya made his way aboard the boat, too. As he sat down parallel to where Jack was, he stared at him and was amazed on how huge the dude was.

"Move a little farther, your breath stinks.", he continued before attempting to give a pushing kick to Jack's left leg using his right foot.

Alternatively, Namor would not obey Jack but rather, that was the most optimal solution to their mission. He knew it was coming.

"We're sailing now.", he said as he finished fixating a lengthy rope to the boat. A rope that he would use to propel the vessel forward.

"Don't even try to retaliate, Jack. The fish guy you're calling earlier could plunge you into the depths of the water with such ease.", Gambit kept on provoking him. Seemingly, intentionally doing it so that Jack would fight and for Gambit himself to end it right away.

And finally, after speaking to the Calamity, he puffed his cigar and blew all the smoke onto the face of a living mammoth.

C'mon bitch, fight., Gambit's thought.

As Uteki listened to Yahiko explain that there was no point in going after the factories, it was clear how much he feared Kaido. It was understandable. She didn't like the idea of facing him in a showdown either, but that wasn't what had to happen. If someone like herself saw a chance to go after Kaido, then there were likely others. Sure, they wouldn't be allies of her permanently. But everyone with the same goal as her would likely agree to a truce until Kaido is taken out.

"You seem to be missing somethig, Yahiko. My reason for being on Wano has to do with taking out Kaido. So, the fact that he is their owner means nothing to me. You can stay here with the villagers, or come and fight with me and Ai. It's up to you. C'mon Ai, let's go."

She provide some assistance to the village, but was as always, fixated on her goal. She would attack the factories to disrupt some of Kaido's plans and improve the water situation in the village at the same time. Ai looked a bit confused by the directness of what Uteki said, but turned to follow her to the factory. A smile appearing on her face. Wanting to believe Uteki was attacking the facotries more for the Village's sake then for the sake of their mission.

The Flower Capital @Ichimonji @Sea

The demonic-looking, black leather clad, winged swordsman walked down the main street of the Flower Capital, encountering the crowd of civilians that he had been observing from afar. When confronting them about what was going on, they told him that there was water to be had - enough for one and enough for all. Finding that notion to be absolutely impossible and ridiculous, King's eyes turned bloodshot and menacing. Were they making a fool of him?

Before he could confirm what was going on, Akira unsheathed his katana, clearly hinting at hostility toward King. At the same time, Akira hinted toward Zalera and the young girl's mother to get the civilians out of there. The mother - and likely Zalera as well - saw Akira's sign. The mother looked at Zalera and nodded, before turning to the crowd and beginning to usher them away and down the street. King observed this behavior, putting two and two together.

There were strangers, that is, outsiders in Wano. The civilians claimed there was water. The outsiders had likely brought it with them. And now, the outsiders and the civilians were working together.

Veins popped on King's faces, clearly angered by the situation. His body started to suddenly transform, showing the ability of a Zoan-type Devil Fruit user. His arms and legs started to turn into predatory claws and talons, and his wings reshaped. The fire on his back spread to his wings, turning them blazing hot. A Human-Hybrid form of an unknown, but seemingly ancient or mythological creature.

You outsiders would be wise to explain what you are doing in Wano right now.

King said, clearly hostile toward the strangers. Would they fess up, or would they attack?

Kuri @Gambit

Jack, Gambit and Namor formed a very temporary and short truce. The two princes were to be taken to Kaidou, where talks could ensue. Jack explained where Kaidou was, and that they had to travel by sea to get to where he was. An island not too far from Wano, called Onigashima. Jack went and found a small vessel, and the trio were ready to go. Jack, who was several times more massive than Gambit and Namor, took up most of the boat. When Gambit sat down next to him as well, he pushed Jack over to get more room, all the while talking smack. If Gambit observed closely, he could see the absolute rage on Jack. His fists were clenched, his muscles bulging, his was was riddled with angry veins, and his teeth were clenching. And yet despite the provocation, Jack did not retaliate. At least not physically. He knew if he messed up after he had already messed up, Kaidou would kill him.

But, verbal retaliation was not off-limits.

You keep yapping I might just tear you limb for limb after Kaidou-san is done with you. Now shut your fucking trap.

Jack said angrily. And while the trip would undoubtedly be full of turmoil, for now, it was time to get going. Namor would find the boat heavy to pull, due to Jack's size and weight, but it was manageable. Jack would tell Namor where to go, and the trio would travel the rough seas surrounding Wano. After a good amount of time, a strange structure would start to come into sight on the horizon. As they approached the structure more and more, it would start to take shape. A skull-shaped structure that served as an island, and home to the strongest creature on the planet. The Yonkou Kaidou. And this... was Onigashima.

The two princes would perhaps find it unsettling how things were going. They had just arrived to Wano, and now, they were already going to meet Kaidou. Was it so easy to come face to face with a Yonkou? Or was this due to the severe crisis that Wano was facing? Was meeting Kaidou a blessing? Or a ticket to an early death? All of that was anyone's guess, but one thing that was undoubted, was that Gambit and Namor were racing straight to the heart of Wano.

Once they landed ashore, Jack would disembark the vessel and started to walk toward the skull. The skull's gaping mouth was the entrance. From there, a short ten minute walk would lead Jack, Gambit and Namor to a large area inside the skull. The area was somewhat dark, but the candles that lined the walls gave some ambient light. All the way across the large area, a massive man was sitting down. He was still a mere silhouette at that distance, but two things were clear. The man looked like he was drinking sake. And the man was without a doubt the one that they had come to meet.

Kaido of the Beasts.

Hakumai -> The Flower Capital @QuickZilver708

The Captain's story was quickly going downhill, having underestimated the Shogun and how careful he was being, given the dire situation that Wano was facing. When Shogun Orochi poked for further information, the Captain started to dig himself even deeper, until the other man - that is, Kallavan - intervened. Kallavan went on to rather expertly change the subject, bringing the conversation back to the topic at hand. They were merchants, and Wano was in need of water. They were unharmed, and willing to have their ship and their products examined and inspected. Furthermore, they were even willing to make the first step, and give the first shipment of water for free. It was already here in Wano, after all. Undoubtedly, the way Kallavan presented the deal, it was hard to say no. In fact, Kallavan wouldn't be wrong if he was proud of how well he did. Especially for a man who was, in fact, not a merchant, and had no experience dealing with this type of business.

However, despite how well Kallavan did, his lack of experience would catch him off guard. He was likely not used to dealing with rulers like Shogun Orochi. They were a different breed half of the time. Extremely proud. Extremely arrogant. Extremely entitled. They thought themselves different, better, more important, and rulers of the world. Not all, but Shogun Orochi was that type. Despite Kallavan's great offer, Shogun Orochi pressed mercilessly.

That's great news then. Leave your cargo here and go home. I will contact you in a week and let you know what the deal is.

What? Preposterous. Were they to literally just leave all of their cargo here for free, without any guarantee that a deal would ever be made? Kallavan wouldn't be wrong to react as bluntly as ''excuse me?''. But that was, indeed, what Shogun Orochi was saying. After all, as far as the Shogun was concerned, it was him that had all the negotiating power. Yes, Wano was facing a severe drought. Yes, Wano was in a crisis. But it was the two merchants that had strolled into enemy land, and enemy land that happened to be bolstered by the power of Kaidou. Were they to not do what Shogun Orochi said, they would be killed, and their cargo seized forcefully. Shogun Orochi glared at the two men, expecting an answer. The tension continued to rise. Would Kallavan managed to deescalate the situation, or would he risk putting up a stand here and now? Kallavan's next step would shape his future, without a doubt.

Kuri -> Okobore Town @tlgRen

Yahiko was a brave young man, who had to carry the fate of an entire village on his shoulders at such a young point in his life. But, despite all of that, one could not expect Yahiko to be on a level where he could even imagine opposing the terrifying Kaidou. It was a kid against the strongest creature in the world. The strongest creature in the world, who was also ruthless enough to take over an entire country, and turn it into a polluted factory field for his own weapons and might.

There was no chance that Yahiko would stand up to him. As the old lady talked to Yahiko about freedom, and how he had to fight for himself, his whole body was shaking. He could not get rid of the fear. Uteki, almost ruthless in her words, put Yahiko in front of a decision. Would he oppose Kaidou or not? And on top of that, he had to make a decision quickly, as Uteki and Ai were already leaving.

Yahiko grit his teeth, and clenched his fists. His whole body was trembling, and his eyes were shut. One could see that he was mustering all of his courage from deep within, to make this one step forward. A step toward freedom.

And then his proclamation came.

Or so one would have hoped. But it did not. Yahiko's legs gave in, and he fell to his knees. His head hung low as Uteki and Ai left the house without Yahiko. The old lady looked at Yahiko. But she was not disappointed. Instead, she knew that they were asking too much of him.

Once outside, Uteki and Ai would have no trouble whatsoever spotting many a factory in the far distance, on the horizon. They were massive hunks of smoke and metal, easy to find. It was time for the two ladies to raise some havoc. But unfortunately, Yahiko was not part of it.

Kallavan couldn't believe what he was hearing. This man. This fool rather went beyond his imagination. He had his head so far up his ass that it defied any common sense to the Admiral. Luckily he had his back to the guards but the private next to him could see the look on his superior's face, terrifying him to his very core.

It was subtle and vanished as quickly as it appeared but Kallavan showed wide-shot eyes with a singular vein nearly popping on his forehead. However, the admiral quickly exhaled through his nose to relieve the anger that was boiling within. While not completely gone and far from it, he was able to suppress this feeling from acting out.
The signature stoic Vice-Admiral nearly lost his cool to this buffoon that stood in front of him acting as if the world belonged to him. It sickened him to his very being. But Kallavan quickly continued with the 'negotiations'.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible my lord. We're here right now to establish a trade agreement through various face to face meetings. I'm afraid establishing this over ocean messages shall prolong the negotiations to unnecessary lengths." Kallavan said giving a reasonable argument once again as to why it was in their best interests to establish a treaty right now instead of a few weeks past.

"I had hoped our arrival would've been met with more flexibility in regards to signing a treaty. But one cannot create such a deal with only of the participants willing to negotiate. " Kallavan said, his patience clearly growing thin.

"So with that, I have but one final offer which is take it or leave it," Kallavan said as he took a deep breath.
"Either you take both our gift and the intent for a treaty and we'll negotiate fair terms and all will be well in Wano."
"Or you take only our gift and we will venture home but I wonder how the people will react after receiving a spark of hope but to be denied further aid. Instilling hope in your people can be a double-edged sword."

Kallavan said his final offer which was a rather bold statement but the Admiral could not bear to interact with this man any longer. But instead, try to almost threaten him or so it'd seem at first glance. But in reality, he simply established a possible outcome should the Shogun accept their gift and afterwards send them their way. It was an almost desperate effort for Kallavan knew or felt that there was no reasoning with this man.

If he could not acquire any more water nor food after their gift it'd be a rather poisonous one. With slightly renewed strength, a possible revolt might not be out of the question. But with Kaido at their back and call, even this could be waved away at a mere notion.

Unknowingly to the Shogun and Kallavan himself, various other outsiders were roaming around in Wano to possibly further destabilize the current balance that was at a tipping point for various months.

To which side will the scale dip? He'd know very soon.

A King Dethroned! #8

Streets of the Capital
The crowd thinned, led by the mother. Zalera took the child and stayed with her, clearing the streets. La Spada had already warned Zalera of what would happen if she lost her plaything.

The streets thinned. Two left now became three. From the house, a hooded figure approached confidently. La Spada threw two pebble-like objects to Akira; earbuds. He’s been Shadow long enough that he knew what they were for, and to await La Spada’s signal.

When King transformed, La Spada chuckled. She slowly took off her cloak before tossing it aside. A mafia-themed jacked over tight threads hung off bones. A peg leg on the left and a golden hook on the right arm. Her grin was clad in excitement, clad in bloodlust, and King was the prey.

The smoke from La Spada’s cigar billowed as she answered King’s question,

[La Spada] “I am here to take Kaido’s head. But, for now my dear, yours will do just fine... King ‘The Conflagration’!”

An aura of spirit leaked from Spada with those words. An aura of death and penance. With an unnerving maniacal laugh, the Captain drew her Shodai Kitetsu, the cursed top twelve sword with her left boney hands, and licked it. No blood came from her rotting tongue, only the ghastly sight of her grin.

[La Spada] “I doubt I need an introduction, but just in case, I am the mighty Spada, and yes, all the horror stories you heard are true. Kuahahahaha!!”

With those words, La Spada waved her blade at the distance. A house at the far end of the street caved in. People inside be dammed.

An introduction fitting for a Lord. There was nothing else but bloodlust coming from the strangers. Certainly a compliment and show of respect to King’s power, and reputation. La Spada never took her cloak to fight and fights alone. But King’s name was known far and wide. His aura reflected that. King stood in prescence of two strangers seeking blood.

Sasaki and Leo would take their ride as suggested by Yamato, it is indeed some distance needed to be travelled before they would reach the prison. Once the pair have gotten up onto the motorcycle, they rode off into the sunset in a jiffy. Speeding towards the prison at incredible speed, leaving a trail of blasted sand in the wake. However, taking the faster means of transportation also means that it is fairly obvious that someone is going towards the prison – which immediately raised alarms from all sides. Within the Hakumai Outpost however, the Lieutenant and his men would look on, with Yamato simply smiling at the miracle that was given to the Hakumai, not truly one with a sincere smile however.

Just a few short moments before the pair would get off their bike, they may find that from all other directions, a similar trail of blasted sand could be seen encroaching from the distance. The Hakumai Lieutenant wasn’t lying when he said that others will inevitably join in, however it would definitely take a short while before they would reach the front gate regardless. As Sasaki and Leo would attempt to destroy the gate – cannons and gunfire very quickly fire towards the pair, though given the fast movement from the duo, hitting one isn’t as easily as people would think. As they jumped off the bike, tossing the bike into the gate and immediately utilized their attacks in combinations, a powerful force would roar towards the gate, prompting those near it to quickly get away from its trajectory.

*BOOM*

The combination of attack damages the gate, generating a large smoke obscuring the gate and those near it. The shooting and the artillery bombardment stop for a moment thanks to the attack in which the pair have tried to force open the gate with. Soon the smoke would become lighter, and the results of the gate can now be seen clearly by all parties near it. The combination of the attack heavily damaged the gate but it wasn’t completely tore opened, a brief respite for the defenders, however it looks to be that it will not take another hit before being completely fallen apart. It seems that the gate is absolutely made to withstand punishment, which is logical considering the place is a warzone, who knows how many improvements have been made throughout the course of the war to ensure it can withstand a lot of punishment, it is a pretty thick gate as well. Despite not being fallen apart; it has dent the gates back so much that an opening can be allowed for human-size things to get through one by one.

There is little time for Sasaki and Leo however, as artillery and gunfire would resume almost immediately towards their location. And now the remaining Yakuza members have gotten extremely close, it would only take less than a minute for them to reach the gates as well. The situation has completely devolved into a chaotic mess that will be even more so when the Yakuza is on the gates, exactly as Yamato has predicted so.

King wasn’t happy with the situation in Flower Capital, that much is seen visually and the tone of his voice as he attempts to understand how is it possible that they acquire water – and once he figured out the culprit of this heinous crime, the man started to show anger and transforms into a strange being, which can be understood by Akira as a Zoan user, of what kind however the boy could not discern, King’s race is already not human which may even lend credence to a possibility that it may not be even a Devil Fruit power. Regardless of which, it is fairly obvious a fight is about to break out as the situation has completely tensed up, the atmosphere heavy for this will end in a more gruesome way. Here La Spada would threw two small objects at Akira, prompting the boy to catch it - it is something he could understand, having known La Spada's abilities well enough to slot them into his ears rather quickly. For King however, this action might be confusing and he may not understand the point of it. Yet.

La Spada herself would respond to King’s questions nonchalantly, an answer in which King would not like, they are pretty much here to screw with the Beast Pirates. Being the ‘Shadow’ of La Spada, Akira did not respond in follow up to La Spada’s words nor did he reply to King – A Shadow need no introduction, only to serve La Spada. Instead if anything, King should be the one fearing the power of La Spada, and that is what Akira intend to do so. King will kneel before her, and die – to serve a message not just to the angry mobs of Flower Capital, but to Kaido that he too, will be in the same place.

Once La Spada was done with her introductions, without speaking a word – Haki started to envelope around his sword, turning the blade in a bloody red glow as his hand wielding the sword and the remaining parts of the katana became jet black. Swinging his weapon vertically, Akira unleashed an air blade towards King, not meant to kill King, as something that obvious wouldn’t work on someone on an Emperor’s crew, especially someone like King. No, it was to merely see how King would react, whether to crush the attack or to move away.
